This year, I got loved by a lot of wonderful people.

And what more could any girl ask for?
I hope the good things that happened in 2023 follow you into 2024 and multiply. ✨
Calling out to other fans who queer-ship for support! The dark-ish, romcom-ish, historical-ish pirate show Our Flag Means Death is one of the few that has actual queer-couples prominently featured on the show.
The main romantic pairing were regularly shipped in fandom long before it was revealed this was not a queer-baiting tactic, it was actually happening...
And this is just ONE queer/non-heteronormative couple out of many more.
It's a fun show with a wonderful cast and crew who are not only supportive through their work, but many of who reach out to fans through special events and social media.
And now Max/WBD has cancelled that. One of the few cannon-supported examples where shipping queer-based couples weren't just fantasies, and it's been squashed.
I recommend y'all check out the show, but also please help protest the decision to cancel this unique series before it had the chance to complete its full arc:
We had an impromptu neighborhood playdate in our front yard this afternoon when Benjamin and Gracie joined us. I grilled burgers (and octopus) and Matt & Erin joined us on the back deck. It was a fantastic end to a fantastic weekend. I don't know how you kids stood that freezing cold pool water, but you did, and had lots of fun together.
mrsalenacox: It was an awesome day in NYC! Walking down the streets all dressed up in our doodle outfits felt so good! Somehow in this city it feels like normal clothes… and not that many people actually pay attention. Later in the evening Sam was having his first show and live performance there and meeting great people like Shepard Fairey and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his lovely family! Together with Angel @la2art they did such a great show! I’m so happy this collaboration happened! Truly amazing 🤍
And everything you need to know about my evening is in the last picture. I was in the hotel, feeding sleeping munchkin. We had a great time though, but I wish I was there with Sam too. At least I got to see the installation of the works!
