As you may or may not have heard it yet - I am part of the Daft Punk Anthropology Zine! An•thro•po•lo•gy - The study of what makes us human 🤖
This Fanzine reflects on the history of the iconic duo Daft Punk, and I am very honored to be a part of it alongside many other incredibly talented artists and writers. A lot of love has went into the making of every individual piece - here is a preview of mine ❤️
Pre-Orders for the Zine are now open and close on 03/22/2023. All profits will benefit the Dolly Parton Foundation's Imagination Library. Here is the Pre-Order link:
From the Chronic'art interview I'm working on- as always our ICONIC duo offers different perspectives.
Q: Why the pyramid for the Alive 2006/2007 shows?
Thomas: The pyramid has become a symbol because, geometrically, harmonically, it’s a magical, occult, mysterious object. There is also this mysterious and occult, on the verge of paranormal, power in music. No one can really theorize about the effects of music on the body and mind, so it’s incredible. We just try to pass on that magic in a rather empirical way.
Guy-Man: We put a pyramid on stage because we think it’s cool, and it makes everyone trip out.
These French bastards keep hurting me and making me whole again on the same date... 02/22 should be proclaimed as Daft Punk international day.
Here's today's sketch in celebration of everything Thomas & Guy-Man gave us in their career. I miss them.
Looking forward to the new RAM 10th Anniversary Edition <3
