Sylvia *was* owned by a trainer who was apart of Team Rocket (now note that in the world and or reality she came from its some type of weird fusion between Kanto and Kalos, called *"Kaltos"*, like that alternate universe from Johto and Sinnoh where they were fused together from Pearl and Diamond) he was a secret hitman who worked for Giovanni when someone new information about them and they needed them to be put out of commission or silenced so they can continue doing their nefarious plans, he was just as greedy and cruel if not more than Giovanni himself. His name was Drake (not the dragon type gym leader) and he was a *huge* power hunk, like he only approved of the strongest, brutal and intimidating pokemon on his team to do the job, he didn't like "weak" ones, he thought they were as important to him as a dirt in the sand under his boot. Stereotypical asshole trainer.

So Sylvia, whose an Eevee at this point, was exposed to the cruel fate she didn't expect to find. Her parents (an shiny Umbreon, her father, and a Espeon, that's her mom) we're defeated/fainted and captured by Drake as they were trying to defend her. Taking them away from her. They then mistreated her parents and eventually they died, they eventually captured her just because, thinking maybe she'll be "useful" in the future, he forced her to fight even at her weakest against stronger pokemon and ridiculed her when she failed and fainted, all on purpose. After painstakingly long torturous months of "training", he put her in a daycare and just left her there, forgetting about her. She then met the daycare lady, April Songbird, who was just what she needed. Someone who was compassionate and loving. (How could someone be so cruel to a Eevee? Clearly anyone who'd hurt an Eevee has no soul) April had created a attachment and fondness for Sylvia and eventually all of that affection, love and support made her evolve into a Sylveon. April, surprised then thought and made the fatal mistake of "What if, he'll take her back since she evolved?" So she took the now evolved Sylvia out the daycare, and invited Drake over to show him a surprise. Though she thought he wouldn't come but she still hoped he would so she'd impress him and make him change his view on Sylvia being this "weak, inferior, waste of time" but she didn't.. He came, she hoped he'd be happy to see her evolved but.. He was *disgusted*, "is this a joke? You think this is funny?" Would be the words he'd say to her.

April's reaction was what you'd think, saddened, disappointed and ashamed. She thought she did something right, but, apparently not. Drake was so disgusted by the sight before him, yet he still took her.. Only to show her whose boss, and to see how much power she had. She was put through all that torment again, even newly evolved he still thought the same. Starting to punish her for "not being good enough" till he "disposed of her", April came by to check on how she was only too see her injured body laying motionless on the grass. She was terrified, yet angry. Tried to help her but Drake stopped her. So she won't spread more information to others and expose the truth of Team Rocket's cruelty. He then ordered his Houndoom to attack her, burning her alive. He then put her body in a bag then threw her into the forest, some burned lump of flesh and bones to be eaten by wild hungry pokemon.

Sylvia eventually after weeks died from her injuries leaving her to rot and decay, the many lacerations and scars all over her body, torn ribbons and flesh. It's what he considered "to be strong" to have battle scars, to show how tough she was.. Of course her fragile, wounded body couldn't handle all the pain and she bled out. Her body may have died.. But not her soul, not her *anger* not her *rage* all of that pain and anger against all he did to her and those she loved fueled her spirit, rebirthing her to the mortal realm beyond the understanding of others. As a some supernatural force of vengeance, she had kept all the lacerations and cuts on her body as a reminder of what he did to her, and as some sick twist on how she "was strong enough" strong enough to cheat death and come back by sheer revenge and anger. And killed him the exact way she died, lacerations and bleeding out by Pokemon. Forcing his pokemon to attack him. Then attack each other.

She was treated and told as some urban legend by trainers alike to their children for the dangers and curse of mistreating your pokemon, as they will come back for you.

I also like to think she has a sense self-awareness. She knows she's fictional. She's a being, an entity of unbridled corruption and vengeance.

The large stitch on her chest that goes down her abdomen is there because when she died, wild pokemon came by and took bites from her corpse, Drake didn't seem to bother to get rid of her corpse, he actually treated it as some trophy. Sick freak, when she was "revived" it was stitched back together. It leaks a black liquid, that's corruption. It comes out from the large stitch and her eyes, which were turn out as well, only leaving two red dots as her eyes.

Sylvia can talk, it's a high-pitched, static-y distorted, almost annoyed sounding voice, either through telekinesis or literally speaking.

If you're wondering if she got a good ending she semi did, she found a family of stray Eeveelutions and wild Pokemon that took her in, (she just had to disguise herself as a "normal" Sylveon so she wouldn't freak them out by her visage, a normal Sylveon, just the blue in her eyes are red) and the colors are a tad darker.

She had formed a close bond with a Umbreon named "Midnight", who reminded her of her father. And a Espeon named "Psyche" who reminded her of her mother. As well as a Sylveon named "Sylvianna" who accepted Sylvia as her adopted Sister. More on them later. But yeah that's basically Sylvia.

I love how they included individual uniforms for all the gym leaders in Sword and Shield. Which means, of course, I had to take it into my own hands to design a Galar gym leader for my fave type. Sylvia is an acrobat, who uses aerial silks spun by her bug Pokemon. Her gym would be stylized like a circus, having the player traverse through a maze of tightropes, trapeze swings, and trampolines in order to reach her. All her Pokemon are kept in net balls, and her number is Japanese Gorowase for "Silk".

Gym Leader

Main Pokemon type of choice: Poison

Badge: Toxi-gas Badge. This Badge resembles an artistic depiction of toxic fume bubbles growing bigger.

About Alex:

Alex is a Poison Type Gym Leader whose main gimmick is skateboarding. Alex loved skating since they were a kid and they felt most comfortable being able to express themselves amongst other skateboarders. They also have a knack for graffiti and were asked to help decorate the town their Gym is centered in because it is a relatively bland and uninteresting place. They’re the fifth Gym Leader and their Team consists of Pokemon from level 35 to 37.

Alex did not want to become a Gym Leader when they were an adult, and really just wanted to travel around the world with their favorite Pokemon, who all just happened to be part Poison types. They were pressured into the role by the League after both their mother and their sister got careers related to it, they’re still openly against the career choice and comment on how “it’s real annoying to deal with sometimes.” Most of the time they’re found lazing around town with their Toxicroak and Toxtricity until/unless they’re forced to go battle someone.

They’re a somewhat reserved, blunt, but chill person who has mild resentment for the League after being pushed into a position they did not want.

Relatives:

Sylvia, who is a Gym Leader as well and comes before Alex is the third Gym Leader. She uses Steel types. She’s Alex’s younger sister and probably the one that looks the least related to them and their mom. Her partner is a Bisharp.

Anemone is Alex and Sylvia’s mother. She is a Fairy Type user that dresses in the pastel goth and/or gothic lolita fashion styles. She uses Pokemon that people generally perceive as gloomy, but also ones that are cute. She is very openly against the stereotype that people who don’t look “cute” to the majority can’t also have cute teams. Her partner is a Mimikyu.

Interestingly, both children are experts in the type that could potentially demolish their mother’s team.

He will be in charge of handling the business side of the Heroes Headquarters, which includes dealing with bills, maintaining the economy of the City, and count money(as always).

🔮Magica de Spell

-Unless if Scrooge already arrived, she will receive a whack on the head. If not, she will appear in a poof of purple smoke and cackle wickedly(or both). Maleficent would have a curious demeanor to this new sorceress and be interested at Magica’s mastery of magic. They would also enjoy “tea time” with each other.

🤖Gizmoduck

-Unleashing his signature catchphrase and holler, “Never fear! I am GIZMODUCK!”(What he would also say when one of his comrades is being beaten down by Creeps). Unfortunaley, Darkwing Duck would be heavily pissed at his arrival, and will do anything to get rid of him, only to get in trouble by the Hero Command.

💣Negaduck

-Will arrive during a Halloween event, and bursting the door open, he begins to rev his chainsaw(to scare the Heroes), only to get kicked in the beak by his arch-nemesis, Darkwing Duck. He is soon to be an intimidating leader of the Villain Hub, demoting Hades to second-in-Command.

Unless if Jafar comes in, both the mallard and demigod will be demoted to co-dragons.

Speaking of Hades, the two will get into a fiery and stressful relationship with each other. Negaduck is also carefully watched by Darkwing, due to the Hero Command fearing Negs’ destructive personality.

⭐️Duck Avenger/Donald Duck

-Will praise himself to FINALLY shine in another media. Spotting Stitch, DA will dash over and inspect the “cute and weird alien”. He will also hang out with Mickey and Goofy(mostly in his civilian identity).

✨Bill Cipher

-As a top prankster of the Heroes Headquarters, despite being a member of the Villain Hub, he sometimes makes a deal with Vanellope and Dash to commit a prank spree. The duo shouldn’t trust him, because his pranks make Vanellope and Dash end up in deep trouble then the duo’s regular pranks. Randall sometimes partners up with him.

And don’t call him a ‘Floating Dorito’: the consequences can be fatally weird.

🔎Agent P

-Accompanies Darkwing Duck, the ZPD, Finn and Holley on their cases. They are the only Heroes that can understand the platypus. The others have difficulty translating Agent P’s chatter.

🎼Wander and Sylvia(tag team)

-You can find Wander making musical numbers with Miguel, and Sylvia attempting to fight the Villain Hub, only to peacefully be stopped by Wander.

Or you can spot them together exploring the Heroquarters.

⚡️Lord Hater

-A hot-headed member of the Villain Hub, he has a furious rivalry over Hades(but can’t win against Negaduck or Jafar). Commander Peepers tries to calm his fury down, but sometimes end up in minor burns.

⚡️Commander Peepers

-Accompanies Lord Hater by his side as a bodyguard(Hater doesn’t care about this though). Along with Lord Hater, Peepers is also a member of the Villain Hub.

🔥Lord Dominator

-One of Lord Hater’s notorious arch-rivals, she serves as one of the tacticians of the Villain Hub. She (possibly breaks the Hub rules) sometimes hang out with Shank.

🔥Mulan

-You can find her training in the Heroquarters, especially the downtown Battle Gym that the Heroquarters also own. She enjoys Fred’s fiery talent.

💫Rapunzel

-Spunky, energetic and battle-ready, she also serves as a medic of the Heroquarters(but still fights in the front lines). She enjoys doing festive song mashups with the Battle Mode roster, and she will do anything it takes to make it the best for her comrades.

⚡️Go-Go

-Can be found alongside Hiro in the Heroquarters’ workshop/garage. She usually hangs out with Shank and (sometimes, due to feeling annoyed by his arrogance) Dash.

🔧Wasabi

-Can be found alongside Hiro in the Heroquarters’ workshop/garage. He would make good friends with Ralph and Goofy, and will discuss on how he doesn’t want to be a giant coward on the battlefield(he’s trying).

Good advice on preventing that awkward feeling from two of his new friends will help.

🔥Fred

-Can be found alongside Hiro in the Heroquarters’ workshop/garage. Also a good and fiery Hero for entertainment or on the battlefield.

🧪Honey Lemon

-Can be found alongside Hiro in the Heroquarters’ workshop/garage. Darkwing is interested and intrigued in her chemistry skills.

✨Jafar

-Entering silently to the Heroquarters, he is the soon-to-be-leader of the Villain Hub.

An intimidating leader to say the least.

If no one agrees with him, he’ll hypnotize them with his staff. Negaduck and Hades are his co-dragons in the Villain Hub.

🗡Captain Hook

-A member of the Villain Hub, both Hook and Barbossa have envy for Sparrow’s popularity in the Heroquarters(also formed a friendly relationship, maybe a friendly-rival one).

🤖Yokai

-You may be thinking, “But Hiro already controls microbots in Battle Mode!”. Yes, I know, but I think we might need a villain counterpart for this. Obviously will join the Villain Hub, and attempts to outnumber Hiro’s inventions behind the mask.

In his civilian identity, he tries to act calm and collected around Hiro.

⚙️Oswald the Rabbit

-It was difficult for Mickey to get along with his brother. Like Duck Avenger, Oswald will praise himself to be in another media. He can also be found working alongside Hiro on creating inventions, thinking on creative ideas with Mickey, and probably hovering around the Heroquarters.

One of his biggest fears is being forgotten, since a bunch of Heroes interacting with each other a lot in the Heroquarters would lead to Oswald being left out.

💎Don Karnage

-Brusts through the door in a dancing/singing matter, with sword dramatically pointing upwards. He is a member of the Villain Hub, and (probably breaking the Hub rules) he sometimes make singing rounds with Jessie.

🔎Finn McMissile

-You can find him along with Holley/Mater, talking business with Agent P.

🔎Holley Shiftwell

-She obviously tags along with Finn/Mater and can be found talking business with Agent P.

⚡️Lightning McQueen

-Encourages others on the battlefield to keep on fighting, he sometimes hangs out with Darkwing, but since this version of McQueen is post-Cars 3, it could just be the both of them talking about their future successors(Cruz and Gosalyn).

🔧Mater

-Usually hangs out in the Heroquarters garage/workshop, he offers helpful tools to Hiro. Mater’s talent of successfully driving backwards has intrigued many Heroes, while others(esepecially the Villain Hub) think it’s stupid or crazy.

Mater will describe his backwards talent as crazy.

💡Luxo Jr.

-It’s a strange pick, but when we have Mickey as the star of Disney, how about this ball balancing-Lamp as the star of Pixar and arrive to Battle Mode?

It’s Pixar month right now, and this would make sense.

I can see the two get together and come up with bright-lliant ideas for entertaining the roster. Oswald will join in too.

-A sneaky member of the Villain Hub, he sometimes makes pranks with Bill, though the majority of it is untrustful.

🐻Winnie the Pooh

-You can find him trying to make friends with every Hero, though making good and healthy relationships with the Villain Hub can be tough for Winnie.

-A jolly friend of Winnie the Pooh, you can find him doing a jig with Goofy and Jessie.

Well maybe i should head to sinnoh after i finish up the kalos league but the question is will it be fine if i challenge the sinnoh league with my current team like will they go harder on me since ive completed a league before plus i kinda want to get my hands on ball capsules

Well, gym leaders tend to calibrate their gym battles to the level of the trainer. They’ll probably ask you how many badges you have, and if you show them your eight Kalos badges they’ll ask you about the League. They might also just know about you ahead of time, depending on how far you get in the League (and also on the gym leader in question-- some stay more updated on that sort of thing than others). So yes, they might go harder on you, but only because they know you’re good enough to face a higher challenge!

They sure do have ball capsules in Sinnoh. What are you going to use them for, though, if you don’t mind me asking? They’re generally used in Contests, and it’s pretty much impossible to do both Contests and the League, barring time travel or cloning or something like that. Although I’ve seen some Coordinators use seals in their battles as well as for initial effect, like that one girl Sylvia from a few years ago who used a Splash Seal with her glaceon to create a mist that the glaceon could freeze into diamond dust, so maybe you could do something like that! And there was this one boy, I think it was Asher, who used a Flame Seal to make blue flames for his delphox, and then the delphox used Will-O-Wisp along with its normal flame to make tri-colored fire, and it was really cool!

She was causing much trouble and decided to come for him, ended up S.I.M.P.ing him (squirrels in my pants) before he finally offered her the chance to be caught – and to his surprise, she EAGERLY caught herself. Now they’re inseparable, and since Sylveon doesn’t like coming out of her ball very much, Minccino has kind of become his walking pokemon. But don’t let that fool you; nobody could ever replace Sylvia (Sylveon) and he knows that for a fact. Green also has a very intense fear of mimikyu. Northwest Passage (WSJ) Thanks to the warmest summer on record and ice melting, more ships than ever before are trading along the Northern Sea Route that runs from Alaska to the Baltic Sea. In 2018, 47 vessels made 572 voyages along the route from January to June. This year, over that same period, 71 vessels made 935 sailings. The trip cuts an average 10 days of sailing compared to the standard trip through the Suez Canal, and the Russian government is planning ice-free year-round trips beginning in 2024.

Two Parties Offer Dueling Views of Barrett as Confirmation Fight Begins (NYT) Republicans and Democrats offered sharply divergent arguments on Monday in a Supreme Court confirmation fight whose outcome is likely to steer the court to the right for years, vying to define Judge Amy Coney Barrett and frame the political stakes of President Trump’s rush to install her before he faces voters. In a marathon day of opening statements, Democrats assailed Judge Barrett as a conservative ideologue who would overturn the Affordable Care Act and abortion rights, and whose nomination amounted to an illegitimate power grab by a president in the last days before the election. Under the U.S.-Mexico border, miles of tunnels worth millions of dollars (Washington Post) NOGALES, Mexico—The cocaine travels north through the sewer. Sometimes the traffickers send it floating in bags on a river of wastewater. Sometimes they crawl with it through mud and human excrement until they hit U.S. soil. As the U.S. border wall rose just north of this city, the drug trade here has been driven underground. Mexican and U.S. patrols have found tunnel after tunnel drilled into an 80-year-old drainage system that connects the two countries, 15 feet below the earth’s surface. The subterranean challenge of stopping drug trafficking and human smuggling is on daily display here. Once traffickers discovered the Nogales drainage system, they learned to drill and hammer into the walls of the channel. Authorities don’t know how much contraband makes it through the tunnels before they are found and blocked. But they say a narrow hand-dug passage could be worth tens of millions of dollars to drug cartels. On a scorching recent Monday afternoon, a team of Mexican national guardsmen crawled into the underground drainage system. Traffickers seemed to enter every day, drilling holes that bisect the sewer like Swiss cheese, each of them connecting the pipeline to Arizona. One tunnel led to the bathroom of an Arizona home—and 211 pounds of cocaine and fentanyl, meth and heroin. Another opened up in an overgrown patch of grass just north of the border wall. The aging drainage system, built in the 1930s as a Depression-era joint project between the two countries, connects the twin cities of Nogales, Mexico, and Nogales, Ariz. It has been a boon for traffickers: More than half of the tunnels found beneath the U.S.-Mexico border since 1990 have been discovered in Nogales.

Peru opens Machu Picchu for single Japanese tourist (DW) Peru’s famous Machu Picchu ruins have opened for the first time after months of lockdown—but just for a single tourist from Japan. Jesse Takayama had been waiting to visit the World Heritage Site since March when the coronavirus pandemic halted travel, forced widespread closures and left him stranded in Aguas Calientes, a town near the tourist site. Minister of Culture Alejandro Neyra said Takayama had been granted access to tour the site after submitting a special request. “He had come to Peru with the dream of being able to enter,” Nyra said. “The Japanese citizen has entered together with our head of the park so that he can do this before returning to his country.” “The first person on Earth who went to Machu Picchu since the lockdown is meeeeeee,” Takayama posted on his Instagram account alongside pictures of himself at the deserted site. “This is truly amazing! EU to sanction Russia (Foreign Policy) The European Union has agreed to impose a new round of sanctions on Russian individuals over the poisoning of opposition leader Alexei Navalny last month. Germany and France proposed the measures at a meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday, which the EU duly voted to back. The sanctions include asset freezes and travel bans on several Russian military intelligence officials. EU leaders have urged Moscow to provide transparency into the circumstances surrounding the attack. While Navalny was being treated at a hospital in Berlin, German experts determined that he had been poisoned by the Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok, a substance that has been implicated in the poisonings of other Kremlin critics. Since his release from hospital, Navalny has publicly pinned the blame for his attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

India’s Talks With China (Foreign Policy) China’s and India’s top military brass met for their seventh round of talks on Monday aimed at defusing tensions along their contested border, the Line of Actual Control (LAC), where violence has erupted several times this year. Sources told the Times of India that the Indian delegation asked the Chinese for a “complete de-escalation” at troop interface areas, including the entire frontier in eastern Ladakh, where deadly clashes occurred in June; Indian commanders insisted that China needed to make the first move and revert to the positions it held in April. The Chinese delegation demanded that Indian forces vacate a series of tactical heights they occupied in late August before a resolution could be reached. Similar to the first six rounds of negotiations, a breakthrough looks unlikely. Neither India nor China has shown any willingness to reduce their significant military presences along the LAC. Although a resolution probably won’t be forthcoming, both sides have already agreed to refrain from needlessly escalating the standoff.

White House moves forward on three arms sales to Taiwan (Reuters) The White House is moving forward with three sales of advanced weaponry to Taiwan, sending in recent days a notification of the deals to Congress for approval, five sources said on Monday, while China threatened retaliation. The move in the run-up to the Nov. 3 U.S. election, first reported by Reuters, is likely to anger China, which considers Taiwan a wayward province that it has vowed to reunite with the mainland, by force if necessary.

Kovrig had been held in extreme isolation in China beginning in January and made his first contact with the outside world on Saturday. “He was astonished to learn about the details of the Covid-19 pandemic and remarked that it all sounded like some ‘zombie apocalypse movie,’” his wife said in a statement.

Spearfishing in Gaza, a living improvised under the sea (Reuters) Armed with a snorkel mask and a home-made gun shaped like a trident, and dressed in a green sweatshirt and jogging pants, Ashraf Al-Amoudi goes hunting every day in the coastal waters of Gaza. He is one of scores of spear fishermen who scratch out a living close to shore in the Hamas Islamist-run territory, diving from boats to depths of around four metres (13 ft) without oxygen to prise oysters from the rocks and catch grouper, sea bream and mullet. “At the beginning it was a hobby, and when I couldn’t find work it became a job and a source of living,” said Amoudi. Now his catch nets him an average of around $14 a day. A pitter patter upon iron clad roofs; that was a relaxing sound resounding out. Getting caught in the rain was one thing, soaked through &. hair dripping wet; Sylvia had missed the often erratic change of weather within Galar. Even having to wring out her hair, which now felt more like a weight that fell behind her back, didn’t bother her too terribly. It was enjoyable, nostalgic even, to simpler times. 

But having that enjoyment echoed in words nearly caused her to jump out of her skin. He was a quiet one, she barely noticed that he’d taken up shelter beside her. It’s when her eyes find the stranger does she take pause.

❝ Oh... ❞ Sylvia knew of him, or at least has seen brief glimpses. Despite having left Galar, she still tried to keep up with the occasional gym battles that went out on broadcast. Iris is a kid-at-heart with a generous personality. Despite spending a lot of her younger years feeling the pressing need to act older than her age, one of the things she learned growing up is that being a kid is perfectly okay at the right time and place. Even though Iris is mature and strong now, she still generally caries an upbeat attitude highlighted by seemingly endless confidence and optimism that was—let’s face it—actually well earned.

Because of this attitude though, Iris often slips under the radar—and that’s okay! People who know her, know her, and in her opinion, those who don’t are perfectly fine. She actually finds it to be a relief that people don’t expect her to be a Champion on a daily basis, particularly since the Champion lifestyle is otherwise so different from the way she grew up.

Regardless of what people think of her, Iris is quick to spring into action when someone needs help, whether that help be a meal for the family or needing to beat down some thieves. Sure, sometimes she’s tempted by the idea of revenge or letting people get their just deserts, but she’s learned that to be a true master—of dragons or otherwise—you have to be able to keep a level head and maintain a pure heart. Therefore, she’s not as vindictive or self-centered as she used to be, either.

Overall, Iris is significantly more mature than she appears. She has a massive trust in her own strength as well as that of her Pokémon, is humbled by her path and the immense amount of faith people have shown in her over the years, and knows when to put that serious face on when necessary. She’s blossoming into a young woman who understands not only the hearts of dragons, but of humans as well, which is something a younger her might not have even considered.

Having reigned as Champion for a few years now, Iris has seen plenty of good and evil in the world. She was there to take on Team Rocket when she traveled with Ash, and Team Plasma as a Gym Leader. But she had always had a discontent with the way the laws of the land handled these victories. She and her friends would do the legwork, hand them over to the International Police, and yet she would hear of people escaping; people getting away with their crimes. She would learn, as a child, that it was a crime to attack someone for being a criminal.

But she played her role. She learned to work within the confines of the Law so that she could be the best Gym Leader (and eventually Champion) she could be.

That was, until another Champion approached her with a dream of changing the world.

Although Iris readily accepted, as of right now, knowledge of her affiliation with Team Guardian is limited to a select few (to be decided depending on who joins the verse). She currently feels as though she’ll be most influential if she maintains a neutral stance, but she’s only biding her time, really.
