First of all. Here is JK shamelessly turning on his man. Before we continue there's a few things you have to understand. BTS were on break and Jimin went to Paris and Hawaii while JK stayed in SK. (Yes they saw eo for a few hours for JK's surprise bday but I'm sure it wasn't enough. No way) So they didn't see eo much. And BV 4 started like as soon as Jimin landed. Like he came home the day before and then the next day they were shooting BV4 ep 1. So my guess is, Jikook had not...... well. They had not. Alright? Not for a while anyway. So a simple footsie like that, would have driven anyone crazy. Especially if your sex life is usually off the chain. Which by some of the things we have accidentally witnessed, I think its safe to say Jikook know how to have fun.

JK said yes. He enjoyed having his hands tied during ON 😏😏

Okay. So anon this is the sequence. JK's toes are proper digging into his boyfriend's leg. And Jimin can pretend he is not paying attention because he's busy talking, but that man can feel every, single, press of what JK is doing

If you watch the video I linked above JK was proper pressing in on Jimin's leg. There is no way to ignore that.

Then suddenly Jhope asks Jimin;

And that's when JK gets up to leave. He was like; babe, you're on your own 🤣 And Jimin answers while looking at JK who is leaving;

Jhope for some reason keeps probing. 😂😂Note RM has his eyes on JK. This man knows Jikook and knows them very well. He was sus of JK and that's why he's watching him.

Lets keep in mind that indeed this room was actually very hot. SOPE switched seats because it was too hot. So keep in mind that this room is HOT. Okay? It's important.

So after getting the 3rd degree from Hobi as to why he was hot or if he was embarassed, Jimin gives the game away by looking at the Jimcock. Now this, is what let me know the dude was in hornyland.

What are u looking at Jimin? 🧐 what did JK do to you? 🤭🤭 So anyway, the culprit comes back with a whole ass coat on. Remember how we said the room was hot? Yeah.... why does JK have a coat on??

So anon like u mentioned, here is where Jikookers think JK went to the bathroom or outside to cool off/collect himself because he was hard. But I, think JK went to grab this coat so he could cover the Jungkonda. He didn't leave for long and when he came back he worked real hard to keep that place covered. So mans was still h.a.r.d

Moving on swiftly, Jimin pulls a Suga, and refuses to look up during the group toast.

So I know Jikook were sharing a room. Now while I believe they cuddled and then went back to their respective beds in the morning for shooting, I dont believe that's where the love making took place. I believe it was in the RV outside. No one was was using it and everyone was inside and they could be as loud as they wanted get all the privacy they needed. It had been a while. Privacy was required 😉

Well, I had to do what I promised on the poll that I made.

This blog is dedicated to my attempt to do amateur Cosplay (Well, Crossplay) as Prosecutor Ito, from Mega Man Battle Network 6.

Amateur indeed, since I didn't and don't have a red tie, so I had to use a Bowtie. I feel that Ito could use a bowtie, I think. Also, I don't have formal shoes, so I had to use my cute beige Sneakers.

Yeah, I'm that amateur. But after all, I'm just casual and I'll not dedicate myself to cosplay. I'll sticking with drawings and other things.

I'll try to show the photos in chronological order.

My first attempt on doing the Ito cosplay. It was December of 2022, and at one weekend there was a Geek/Nerd event. At Saturday, I went to buy a short for the cosplay. It kinda hurt my wallet back then, but oh well.

I even went to show off my Cosplay. I was SO nervious to show off to present my character, and I think I showed up too much introduction to my character. Eh, first times. But the best thing is that ONE PERSON recognized my character!! And he even took a picture of me! That made my day! ;w;

But I didn't took pictures on the event itself. But instead I took some photos during my way to walk to home. I took pictures nearby a tree, which fitted so well. (I took more but at that moment it was SO windy it kinda ruined some photos, in a funny way. Also, the book used was my copy of Fahrenheit 451. I didn't have a law book, so I improvised... yeah.)

Months later, now in 2023, I attended another event, the first event of a major Nerd event in my town. I even participated on the Cosplay contest. I sadly didn't took photos of myself on that event, except a few ones of me eating a origini. (That origini was delicious)

BUT as a compromise. I'll tell my experience on the Cosplay event... OH BOY.

I wasn't sure to participate, but then I decided to eat up my pride and participate. Adding to me not having a tie nor formal shoes, my hair, my natural hair by the way (not a wig), was long. But at least I complimented the Cosplay with a borrowed copy of my country's constitution. Yes really.

So yeah. But the most awkward detail was, I had to act in-character. And I was like "OH... FUCK". Ito doesn't do much, except operate JudgeMan or being the happy doomer prosecutor that we know. The NetNavis do the cool battle stuff, while the humans excluding some, don't do much. So yeah...I had to improvise. Using dialogue but... I didn't have a microphone, not they provided me one. So yeah. I had a massive disadvantage, and when I tried to speak, probably didn't reached to so many people. When I LAST attempted to "jack-in" JudgeMan at something, I did it in front of the judges, and I jumped out of embarassement. And fun? fact, acting while having your eyes close is, and I repeat, H.A.R.D. HARD, All caps. At least the judges told that the majority of time I actually looked at the public.

When I had to leave the scenario, I had to cover my face with the book, while my friends dragged me outside. I felt that my I wouldn't Cosplay as Ito again. This situation could've been more embarassing, if it wasn't for my friends supporting me during the whole dear, I REALLY appreciate them. ;w;

At least someone asked who's my character, and I told the lore around him, but I had difficulties due to my speech impediment with my unability to pronounce the hard R letter. (And in extention, the RR as well)

I had to recover the embarassment after that. I seriously considered NOT to Cosplay as Ito again... But at least I managed to eat my pride, accept that I did it and I should move on from that.

I also did a Tiktok making Ito dance a bit with the audio of Bo's "A really good book" Vine. I thought that the Vine fitted Ito SO MUCH that I had to do it while I was home alone. It was hard to find the perfect position to place my phone in orden to record that video. But yeah, I tried. Now I don't remember if I did it before or after the previously mentioned event. I think I did the TikTok before the event? I'm lazy to check the dates.

Now, in September, I managed to get a haircut. And in some moment, I had the idea to Cosplay and act like Ito for a moment. So I did it, and did some photos. I take more but I decided to put this three ones.

I also acted and did some videos of me acting as Ito and being angsty and edgy. Yes really. I tried to act. I also did some videos of Ito trying to awkwardly dance to Nürnberg's Valasy. I love Nürnberg's music, btw.

And now, the previous weekend, there was the second edition of the Nerd event on my town, and again I went as Ito. But I didn't participated on the Cosplay event. Because come on. I don't want to show off as Ito again, not due to embarassment, but because It's kinda boring of my part to show off again as Ito. Okay?

Anyways, despite the overwhelming first day, that and the second day I had fun. It was fun! I didn't took that much photos of myself. The first one I took it myself, but the second and third one I had a friend who took those photos of me in my cosplay. And the last photo, I did it after returning to home. (I also took one of myself with the brown jacket that I used in case that the day became cold. I think that jacket fitted Ito.)

So yeah!

As when I ate my pride to participate that contest, I'll be eating my pride showing my real face and dressing as my cuestionable blorbo.

And random fun fact, the me posing showing three fingers, is a reference to a Japanese fanart where Yuika, Vic and Ito pose showing three fingers, like a W. WWW, World Three. I love that fanart.

I kinda feel weird and kinda lonely being the major Prosecutor Ito fangirl. But oh well. That's kinda my curse. (?

(I hope I can get braces... When my friend took some photos, I felt self-conscious about my two weirdly-located frontal teeth. Well. Gotta save money. ;w;)

2023 Goal Setting Brain Dump

So it's been a LONG time since I have posted anything.  And I mean posted anything- here, the book with the face, the little blue bird, the tok that has a tick or even in my journal.

Now, there are many reasons for that - life got in the way, too busy with the girls, husband, dogs, work, etc.  But in all honesty, none of those can take over all my time all at once.  There are 24 hours in a day, and even with all the factors in life, it is impossible not to have a few hours a week for oneself. 

The past two, maybe three weeks, I have been fighting off some sort of head cold from hell with a side of sinusitis and fluid filled ears.  (It's been hell.)  Anyway, with all my meds and the rest I need, my mind does not rest very well.  And with a new year means there is a lot of talk about ‘new year, new me’ things. 

Now, I don’t believe in the new year, new me BS, because I am the same person I was last year (for better or for worse) and I’ll be the same person going into the new year. But the new year is a chance to stop and look back and in a way see what has happened, and what could be done to improve the new year.  And THERE IS NO ONE ON EARTH WHO HAD A PERFECT YEAR AND NOTHING NEEDS TO CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES AND EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.

If you are that person, please, get your head checked.

Anyway, a new year is a new chance at life.  I tell my daughters every evening that tomorrow morning is a fresh day and a new chance to try and do better.  But a day and a year are TWO VERY DIFFERENT measurements of time.  A year is much longer than a day and it gives a unique chance that you only get once a year!  (Lame joke, I get it. lol)

Enough babbling, and get to my point - which brings up a whole other thought about how American writers never seem to know when to shut up and here I am not shutting up.

The main idea of this post is talking about my new goals for the new year.  Not new year resolutions (because they never work and people always over-bite on what their goals are and what they can do to get to their goals.) But I am talking about goals.

Goals can be S.M.A.R.T, H.A.R.D, WOOPed, ORKed, micro, backwards, one worded, or visualized.  There is also a Locke and Latham’s Five principles of goal setting. Or my personal favorite, the K.I.S.S.ed system (that I made up, lol, Keep It Simple Stupid.)  But all of them boil down to about three or four key factors.

And remember, I am not some master guru on goal setting and I have no ‘official’ schooling on the matter.  I have been in therapy since I was like three years old, I have read a lot of books and I have been through the American public school system and several colleges.

The one main factor is: working to improve something (either by doing or stopping something) to improve one’s overall life. Part of this factor is that the goal is something that the goal maker wants to do, aligns with their character or values, and (this is often critical) doable. For example, if someone who weighs over 600 pounds and decides in January that they want to run the Boston Marathon in April of the same year, that is not doable, and might not even align with what they want to do (maybe they want to lose weight and run daily, but not run in a marathon.)

Then other factors that go into goal setting are (in no special order):

Being clear on what you want to achieve

Creating a plan on HOW you want to achieve this goal

Knowing what outcome you want from achieving this goal

How you are going to measure your progress with the goal

Creating some sort of commitment plan (how you are going to hold yourself responsible for getting the steps done for your goal)

And sometimes, a reward for completing steps or the goal itself.

Often people have ideas or dreams of what they want to achieve or complete things in their life, but they either do not create a game plan on how to do any of that, or they don’t keep track of what they are doing.  If you must know, I am in all three camps. ;-) (Do the math. lol.)

Anyway, with the new year, I want to take the time to really think about what I want to achieve, how I am going to do that, and create a plan on how to do that.  (If anyone is interested in learning more about the goal setting systems I mentioned earlier, please let me know.  I can gladly do a post on each of the goal setting theories.  It’s interesting [for me, because I am a nerd with somethings] to compare and contrast the different systems and share that with others.)

So for the next couple of posts (maybe) I will brain dump several ideas I have and through writing out my thoughts I will be able to get a better idea of what I want to do.  

I do not think I am going to share specifics about each of my goals because it becomes a double edged sword.  What do I mean?  Well, many studies have stated that sharing your goals - to the public or with just a friend - helps people achieve those shared goals.  But there are a lot of studies coming out saying that just sharing our goals with anyone tricks the brain into thinking that the work is done. (Similar to the joke that more people are afraid of public speaking than death,)  Sometimes, just sharing things (anything) with others is often the hardest part, sharing the goal could trick the brain into thinking that everything is done.  But with sharing the goal, you have someone to hold you accountable to getting things done.

See why sharing goals is a Catch-22.  So I'm not sure if I will share my detailed plan or not but I will share my brain dumps abouts what I want to work on.  So you guys will have an idea of a few things I want to work on in the new year.  Does that make any sense?  I hope so. Maybe?  Let me know in the comments or in a message.

Also, this might go without saying, but with brain dumps, things might go in weird directions. I will edit for spelling and completely crazy grammar but over all, I want to keep my thoughts in tack as much as possible.

Stephen Reads Valiant: Part 5

So here we are, more fun to be had! Let’s get into it!

Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps Vol 4: more Bloodshot! I’d be lying if i said i wasnt more happy to be stretching my legs in some other series this go-round, but Bloodshot continues to kick ass. His journey continues, gripping with fallout from Harbinger Wars and finding himself back working for Project Rising Spirit (which deserves a yikes even with the new management). But that’s only the half of it, the rest of the book is devoted to the eponymous H.A.R.D. Corps which i mentioned last post. They’re a lot like the Suicide Squad except that they privately owned and cut out the middle-man of recruiting criminals by simply dangling money over vulnerable and desperate peoples’ heads. Leader Charlie Palmer’s attempts to turn the team into something good for the sake of the innocent new recruits lines up well with Bloodshot’s own personal journey, no doubt why they decided to make a book out’ve both of them. All in all a solid new direction for the comic, i both look forward to seeing where it goes and am happy to set Bloodshot aside for the moment to read other things. Speaking of which!

Eternal Warrior Vol 1: I’ve been looking forward to reading this one (even before i learned it was written by Grek Pak) mostly because Gilad Anni-Padda is a pretty important character who’s been popping in and out around the Valiant Universe. He’s Armstrong’s little brother, he was Aric of Dacia’s friend in Visigoth times, cool immortal guy stuff. And i LOVE immortal characters/plots in general, but even with that in mind Gilad is incredibly cool. A badass master of all forms of combat with an undying thirst for battle tempered by a heroes heart and respect for the sanctity of human life? Fucking ACES man! X-O Manowar remains my favorite comic of the bunch, but Gilad is a contender for my favorite character. That said Eternal Warrior is pretty damn good, building off some of the lore introduced in other books like the various houses and the geomancers while also telling a great personal story about Gilad getting back into the swing of things after decades in seclusion. An awesome time and i look forward to more!

Archer & Armstrong Vol 2: Finally back with these bozos again! The end of last arc led to the inadvertent death of a geomancer, putting Archer and Armstrong in the crosshairs of….the Eternal Warrior!!! This reading order i looked up is by no means essential but it comes in handy sometimes. I’m assuming Gilad’s series takes place a good deal prior to this adventure because A) he is fully back in his brutal defender of the Earth mode and B) im fairly certain the geomancer who died is his friend Buck. But enough about that, the important thing is they need to find the next geomancer so that Gilad doesn’t super murder Archer, all while combating and evading a cult dedicated to reducing the world to pure nothingness. Among all of these things, the big win for me personally is the new geomancer character Kay McHenry who is a real joy in spite of her origins. Another great volume, it’s great to be back with these fools!

Overall: This section is becoming redundant but what the heck: i loved these comics. Real solid stuff. But i’m even more excited for next time, because i’ve got not only more Archer & Armstrong but the first two volumes of Quantum & Woody too!!!

11 Days of Comics! 6/11 S.T.A.R. Corps #1 (1993) "Tarnished S.T.A.R."

Woo, halfway through!

I knew this was a 90s comic just looking at the cover.

Superman's mullet was a dead giveaway. But also, the robot dude on the cover is straight outta Image or that one recurring ad in Wizard about manganime. The one with the silly cyborg with binoculars for eyes.

I also wonder if S.T.A.R. Corp was made to poach sales from Valiant's H.A.R.D. Corps. I don't have any evidence one way or another aside from them both being A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Corps titled books. And Valiant's book starting in 1992 and DC's in 1993.

I guess it doesn't matter. Comic companies are always ripping each other off and/or homaging each other.

S.T.A.R. Corps. Spins off from S.T.A.R. Labs from Superman's stuff.

Science and Technology Advanced Research Laboratories. Science and Technology Advanced Research Corps.

So, S.T.A.R. Labs has been through some rough times. It blew up in Armageddon 2001 because of Captain Atom and Monarch having a punch-up. Having to rebuild their Metropolis branch has the company hurting financially.

For some reason, this made it make sense to almost completely turn lab operations over to a supercomputer called Mindgame.

First of all, I wouldn't trust a completely benign supercomputer if it was called Mindgame. That has a sudden yet inevitable rise of the machines vibe to it.

Second of all, this is one of those cases where things go horribly right.

Mindgame isn't trying to take over the world or exterminate humanity but it has some big ideas on how certain experiments should be handled.

Preliminary tests indicate that the biological component (aka pilot) of the Deadzone Armor will reduce efficiency? Eh, just secretly change the design so that the pilot Jay Daniels gets FUSED INTO THE ARMOR when he's put in it the first time.

Jay goes berserk from pain and panic, reasonably enough. And he busts out of the lab during S.T.A.R.'s big 'we're not a shitshow anymore, we promise!' press conference.

Humorously enough, to me anyway, Clark Kent gets buried in rubble during the chaos and has to sit fuming under all the huge slabs of cement waiting to be saved because people SAW him get buried. He can't just bust out as Superman because people are actively digging him out.

And when they dig him out he has to play injured so someone will run to get a paramedic. Ugh. This secret identity thing. Such a hassle sometimes.

When he does change into Superman, he tries talking Jay Daniels down but the guy isn't thinking much besides lashing out. So Superman punches him once and knocks him the fuck out.

And then turns him back over to S.T.A.R and asks zero follow-up questions.

Dammit, Superman!

Mindgame asks for data on how the Deadzone Armor performed. Assuming that maybe if they humor the renegade supercomputer, she'll give them control of the lab back, the S.T.A.R. scientists do give Mindgame the data she wants.

And she promptly decides to proceed with further testing. For example, hmm, lets see how Deadzone holds up against intense radiation.

So Mindgame overloads the reactor in the radiation lab. Zapping married scientists Ed and Beth Wilder while they're in the middle of experimentally blasting strawberries with radiation.

Despite two people maybe being dead, S.T.A.R. is still humoring Mindgame. She wants to test the Deadzone armor so they talk to a now much calmer Jay and ask him to go rescue the Wilders. And they kinda don't mention to Jay that he's stuck in the armor forever maybe.

Jay Deadzone is able to stomp through the security of the radiation lab without much trouble. But when he gets to the lab, he finds a strange glowing energy being!

No, not Electric Blue Raspberry Superman but the Wilders! The explosion fused them into a single energy being! Which is a weird thing for radiation to do until you remember that this is the same universe with Firestorm. So. Perfectly reasonable actually.

Other wacky science victims are introduced in the other 5 issues of this miniseries. Especially since Mindgame has control over other S.T.A.R. Labs and don't see people as people.

The series wraps as all the new misapplied science victims combine into the titular S.T.A.R. Corps and beat up Mindgame, who has foolishly taken on a non-computer body just in time to get punched in the face.

Also, Mindgame turns out to be an alien supercomputer who wants to prepare Earth to be invaded. That's less interesting than what I initially thought was going on.

The team doesn't seem to be have used for much beyond this miniseries.

Stephen Reads Valiant: Part 4

Today we tackle the first crossover event on my long journey through the Valiant Universe: the Harbinger Wars! Valiant has certainly shown they’re capable of quality superhero content, but how will they fare with one of the stinkiest parts of the modern comic industry?

Accessibility: A pet peeve of mine with modern event comics is that they usually involve a lot of required reading from whatever ongoing series lead into them. And as the crux of Harbinger Wars’ plot is a crossover between the characters of Bloodshot and Harbinger, it is advisable that you have been reading those series going into it. However, they give you plenty of info pages that get you up to speed on the involved parties, and for reasons i’m going to go into later it isn’t absolutely necessary to know those facts going into the event miniseries.

The Event: While the plot boils down to a crossover between two books, each of those books has a few factions in play: Peter Stanchek’s Renegades, Toyo Harada’s Harbinger Foundation, Project Rising Spirit, Bloodshot and his troupe of escaped psiot children. When you throw in a few classic superhero comic misunderstandings and a Las Vegas hotel setting we’ve got ourselves an event! If you like either Harbinger or Bloodshot you’re sure to get something outve the event, but if you read both then you’re in for some incredibly fun moments and setpieces. Bloodshot vs Toyo Harada, the Renegades’ first mission together, the fate of the escaped psiots, all these and more unfold in an action packed conflict. Even beyond that, new plotlines begin to develop with the introduction of rogue PRS psiot unit Generation Zero and the wetwork super mercenary unit the H.A.R.D. Corps (God bless 90s comics) adding even more characters to the fray. It’s a fun time, but it also feels like a natural progression of things that were already happening. The event exists for all this cool crossover shit to happen, not the other way around.

The Tie-Ins: One massive compliment i can give this event is how it approaches tie-ins. For one it only affects the involved series, so no other Valiant comic is affected by a crossover that has little to do with them. Second, and this is critical, whether the tie-ins are required reading or not is completely up to the reader. See the way it’s structured is the event covers the general plot, with slight focus on Generation Zero and the H.A.R.D. Corps. Then Bloodshot tells the exact same events told from the perspective of the Bloodshot cast, and same for Harbinger. This means that, in theory, you could be an avid reader of either Bloodshot or Harbinger and be totally satisfied with its tie-in issues without having to worry about the other comics in the event. You’d be missing out on some good stuff mind you, but the beauty of events like this is you get introduced to a greater universe of characters you could potentially be interested in! And the fact that Harbinger Wars doesn’t FORCE you to do that is very refreshing!

Overall: Harbinger Wars was a great time. If this is how Valiant handles a small event like this i’m very excited to see how they do with something bigger. But i am NOT in a rush for another event, some normal comics will do me just fine. Next i’ll be going into more Bloodshot with some H.A.R.D. Corps thrown in, a much appreciared return to some laughs in Archer & Armstrong, and an introduction to a character ive been looking forward to: The Eternal Warrior!!!!
