H.O.T’s 26th Anniversary Summary

To my knowledge, the first person to post was Kangta. On his Instagram, he posted this. The picture is from the “Wolf & Sheep” era and shows the members sitting together. I think that might be Lee Sooman sitting between Tony and Jaewon.

Kangta and Woohyuk commented with hearts that were listed in order of the members’ ages.

The next member to post was Woohyuk. Normally, he’s first but Kangta beat him to it. Woohyuk uploaded two images and wrote the caption (auto-translated), “Dear fans, I sincerely congratulate you on your 26th anniversary. 💛💙💚❤️🧡🤍Happy Chuseok love love love #Unreleasedpictures”

The next person to post was Tony! Went a simple upload of their debut album and added a bunch of hashtags related to it. Woohyuk liked it.

The fourth member to post was Jaewon. He uploaded 4 pictures with the caption #26주년❤️👍.

This kind of cracked me up because he clearly zoomed in on the pictures, but probably didn’t mean to cut everyone off. As you can guess, Woohyuk liked this post as well.

As for Heejun, he normally doesn’t use his family’s account to post H.O.T. stuff. HOWEVER, this year he might have beaten everyone with how he celebrated the group’s anniversary. This has yet to be verified either by the Moon family or their representatives, so I’ll update this post when it’s been confirmed. No Korean reports confirming this have been released either, so I’m gonna wait.

A hospital’s Instagram posted this yesterday. According to this, Heejun and Soyul’s son came yesterday.

Once again, this is NOT CONFIRMED, but if it’s true, Heejun just won H.O.T, lol. The Moon family not posting about this yet is totally understandable, so just wait and hope everyone is doing well.

Music Releases

As many already know, Woohyuk recently had a comeback. “Echo” is still going strong and if you want a physical copy, it’s available.

Second, Kangta released “Eyes on You” today, which is the title track for his new album. Believe it or not, this is his 4th solo album and includes the songs he released last year, as well as the unreleased “Love Song”. I’ll go more in-depth about this at a later time.

He also met with fans (informally?).

As for H.O.T fans, people have been celebrating by posting pictures, talking about how excited they are, and even treating themselves to cake.

Wrap Up

All in all, this has been an EXCELLENT anniversary for H.O.T. We got new music, the members are doing well, and it certainly felt like a bigger celebration than the one we had last year.
