I've been studying my ass off to some really important exam I'm doing later this month so my life has been really waking up, studying and going to sleep I'm not even kidding please send help.

Anyways I chose Hawaii five 0 as a low effort media to consume on my breaks and it's been so much fun. I'm currently on 1x03 (couple years late I know) and have been loving it so far hahahahahaha

Still not sure if I'm watching the other seasons since procedural shows are not really my thing but I've heard that season two is the best one?

And yes! As you can tell I love Hawaii 5-0 with all my heart, and I’m glad you chose it. I personally think season 1 knocked it out of the park. As for the best season, that’s honestly debatable. But S1-3 is honestly prime h50 in my opinion. So season 2 is definitely worth watching if you’re willing!

Even season 3 and beyond is worth a shot. Maybe I’m biased, but if you find yourself wanting more after you watched season 2; then maybe try out the next season.

First Boat Date

Danny asks Steve if he is crazy, but who is crazier, the guy who brings a beer cooler on their excursion to interrogate/intimidate a suspect by throwing him into a cage with (harmless) sharks, or the guy who readily accepts the beer and laughs about it? Just coz they are working doesn't mean they can't have a little romantic outing, as a treat. Danny is as sane as Steve and they both deserve each other.

1.03/1.18/5.06 Danny's Family Problems Are Steve's Problems

'I'd be alone on this island', from the first scene that touches on how deeply lonely Danny feels in Hawai'i, it's clear Steve vows that it will never be the case, that Danny won't have to solve his personal problems alone. Danny is bracing himself to brave the unruly waters on his own but Steve shows up for him every time.

When Danny is looking into an uncertain future, Steve is always looking at Danny in his quiet intensity, firm and certain that he will be there for him, they are each other's Sure Thing. 'I may not carry your burden, but I will carry you'. Danny once told Steve that there's no 'my own' in their relationship so that 'your problems become my problems', Steve shows him that it goes both ways.
