Tenka bit the insides of her cheeks before smiling at the other. Inspirational words have become such dull platitudes as of late. And truthfully, she'd wanted to give in to the venom that had been brewing within her chest. To lash out, give voice to her thoughts sharper than any blade, and cut down Ze/lda's encouragement, slicing through her golden heart.

Because her bright energy, reminded Tenka too much of her rival. Erian. The girl who could bewitch the world with her carefree smile and dancing, the girl with eyes that rivaled the starlit night skies, the girl who charmed Harumi. And what's worse is that she knew Ze/lda had nothing but genuine intent in her words. Yet, that did not stop the rush of anger Tenka felt upon seeing her sincere grin. "You can do it" meant absolutely nothing if she had already lost on her first try.

She lost. She lost. She lost.

How uncool of you, Tenka.

"… thanks," she settled on that. Thanks. It did little to abate her anger and her dissatisfaction with her failure. Tenka wasn't sure if she was convincing enough either, as Zel/da's bright expression slightly dimmed. And how annoying would it be if she were to continue to try and cheer up Tenka's battered heart and bruised ego? So, with a flick of her hair, Tenka continued. "But I'm satisfied enough with this. I did my best."

"If you are going to take Harumi's heart, I'll take what you want." oUUUUUUU SHE'S SO COOL when she said that I fell in love with her character right then and there! Girl Crush is an amazing shoujo that has a showbiz storyline. What's interesting is that Tenka is actually the catty rival character you see in shoujos, while Erian is more like a typical shoujo protag. Tenka has so much growth and she's such a good character man, one of my fav shoujo protags hands down. She gives into her ugly jealousy and pettiness but also, she's a total perfectionist and works hard and she's just so cool! I'd love to write for her if I wasn't lazy about two things: making a new blog and icon making.

ALT.T.P backstory is pretty interesting and crucial for how I play my lovely princess. The imprisoning war happened far before she was even born, and she was born during the centuries of peace when that war happened. Here’s the thing: the war did damage to the lands and remnants of it still remains in the form of abandoned places of worship and the monsters crossing over from the dark world. There was no war going on, yes, but it wasn’t completely safe and sound. Now, when she was born the beginning of the pestilence started. Her mother died from the disease that ran around for a bit before it died down. Since losing his wife from the disease, and how Zel has very delicate constitution, she grew up in a cloistered household out of protection for his only daughter and heir. She didn’t have too many friends growing up, Impa was as close as she got with that as well as the oracles. With the maidens, she was familiar enough with them, but not exactly close. It wasn’t until she was around 16 where not only the epidemic returned, but also famine would begin to start and soon struck the lands. As you can imagine, lots of death happened during this time. Yadda yadda, Agahnim mysteriously showed up and magically solved the problem with, uh magic, and Zel suspecting that he had something to do with it, him somehow taking over the throne, killing the king, then imprisoning Zel to break the seal, Link saving the lands. Yes, yes, we know about this. But, Agahnim taking away her only family she had plunged Zel to a deep depression. Part of the reason why she wears darker shades of blue now is because she’s silently mourning the loss of her family, if she were to wear black she believes it might worry others and show how she’s still affected by this. As said in her profile, she represses all emotions and desires to appear as a calm yet confident and strong for the sake of her people. Emotionally, though she has silent determination and is very hopeful/carries faith in others, when it comes to herself she’s pretty fragile. Having zero friends or people to confide in does that haha. 

Also, the whole ordeal where Agahnim had complete power over the king is why she’s very cautious around nobles and people of higher power. Agahnim is not the only one who’d fight for the throne nor will he be the last person. They’re not to be trusted, they can and will stab you behind the back in the name of the crown and possessing the rumored golden power the royal family has hidden away. She had to develop deep cunning and learn how to lie.

The Elle guise comes from her wanting at least a taste of what life outside of the castle is like, and running from the brutal court. It’s a rare moment where she doesn’t have to repress... too much, that is. She still does. 

TLDR: Quiet, depressed princess who grew up in strict and lonely environment just wants a simple life hence why she is the way she is in how I write her <3

Good morning! Here’s a few to knock things out! Work is today but I’ll be home early because seven hour shift, bless bless. It’s going to be a bit long so bear with me! I’m going to reblog this on ALTTP Zel because it does go into how I play her too! Sorry about how strange that is ;v; my mind hops all over the place while trying to tie things together!

Hilda’s telepathy works differently from ALTTP Zelda’s. Whereas ALTTP Zelda has limited range and can get psychic nosebleed due to how little stamina she has and the strain magic puts on her body, Hilda is far more proficient because she doesn’t have such limitations. As shown in the game she can contact Link anywhere no matter how far away he is. She has something that’s a bit like Astral Projection but I like to call it telepathic or magic viewing where she can see where a person may be and calculate their area surroundings. Of course, this is limited where she can’t see the entire area but instead a circumference around them. The range is a factor in this but Hilda understands the lands like the back of her hand hence why she can warn Link about the area he’s found himself in. Whenever someone is near her castle, however, she can see them far better due to how close they are. She can only read minds, unable to delve in close to someone’s heart due to a little emotional intelligence she has which affects her ability. As said with ALTTP Zelda, one needs a connection of sorts in order to see someone’s heart/true thoughts and trust between both parties. She has potential to do this but for now, only reading the surface level of someone’s thoughts.

Yuga is an advisor, he’s been around the court for such a long time Hilda can’t imagine him no longer working for the royal family. It’s why she sees him as trustworthy and why she sends him to kidnap to sages to begin their plans.  Her mother had been the one who let him in the court. His actions, mirroring Agahnim’s where he uses his magic to help out. Of course, he has his own motives and sees the royal family as pathetic for numerous reasons. At times, Yuga does tick off Hilda, she tends to avoid him if this were to happen but quickly forgives due to her needing him. 

Unless involved, Hilda doesn’t trust anyone by default that said it’s easy to gain her favor provided you show something to show this. She’s a bit on the naive side, yes. Another thing to add is that she’s used to the hate from her people. There are a few that have faith in her but it’s very little. She treats this by not showing the hurt through apathy. However, she does understand why they’re angry and while not exactly pity (since she hates pity) she empathizes with them due to having her own set of anger towards herself more than her ancestors and believes they’re not at fault for treating her this way. She knew her ancestors were just trying to do the right thing to stop Lorule’s own sealing war but forgets this once the Triforce begins to draw out her descent to madness because it just makes her negative emotions blasted to fall max. 

Her study is a mess, filled with broken things and barely touched once ALBW rolls around. It wasn’t always like this, but frustrations and anxiety over the end that’s so close is the lead cause of the state. Her anger is very terrifying, as I say in her bio so it’s best to not piss her off. After the game, she does try to pull in it a bit but she has the emotional range of a teaspoon so it’s a process. What’s interesting she that her gives in to her emotions which is part of the reason why she makes so many bad choices. I’d like to get off topic a wee bit to compare with my Princess Zelda! ALTTP Zelda is far more emotional intelligent but knows that it’s wise to bottle up her personal feelings and focus on what to do as ruler in the grand scheme of things. It’s why she’s always calm and has a smile on her face, she does default to polite kindness but has no bias with this treatment as Zel shows this to everyone so long the other shows the same kindness in return. Her smile isn’t always on her face, (because she’s not a perpetual smiler hewoh she does express certain emotions like worry because... she human) but she has a gentle look to her. It’s Zel’s way of trying to calm others because how coolheaded she can appear. As well as not wanting to reveal her cards to the world. She can be a bit distant if the golden rule isn’t in action, treat others the way you want to be treated. So sometimes, you may see her as snide if a little rude through her words, you have to read between the lines because again personal feelings can’t be shown but she does slip up a bit because how annoying it is to deal with rude people, she goes through this a lot with nobles and in the court she doesn’t need this outside the castle. Hilda may be apathetic and gloomy but it’s very easy to see how she gives in to her emotional side thus she may be hard to read but certain actions sometimes suggest otherwise. That being said, she is very kind even if that benevolence is hard to see and tries to do everything she can for her people. Her need to prove her worth, combined with depression, combined with envy, combined with anxiety all mixes together as her villain status. It’s cool, post game she tries her hardest to look at the logical side of things rather than emotional side while trying to keep the best interest.

Hilda’s mother survives until she was ten while her father does not, dying by poison because good golly nobles are very corrupt here. Her mom grows paranoid at the fact that both of them could be next so she’s taught Hilda to always have a taste tester as well as using silverware to detect poison. And then there’s the mithridatism she did for the both of them, as messed up as that is. Hilda is immune to most poisons. There are other assassination attempts but well, she’s made it this far. Her mother, sadly, dies in a carriage accident after bandits believed she was just a noble rather than the queen. She takes the crown at an early age. And while she is queen she’s yet to be called this by her citizens, calling her princess Hilda shows that they don’t think she’s earned enough respect to have such a high position of power so try to knock her down a peg or two with this title since princesses do not have the same authority as kings or queens do.

There was silence here. Yet not one that was tense therefore it was not heavy with a stillness to it. Though somewhat somber, the two have been sharing a quietude one that was enshrouded in peace before Adrian’s soft voice would break that silence. She looks to him, her eye dull and cloudy with purple and blue blooming upon sickly pale skin. She noted how he flinched once her gaze would turn to him, only imagining just how horrible she must look, how much of a bloody and bruised mess she was. But his hand would squeeze around hers in a reassuring grasp. “You can just tell me,” he repeats. “Tell me what’s wrong.”

Celia smiled.  

There was silence here. And she mulled and mulled and mulled over what to say next. Not one to indulge in her own desires, in wanting oh so badly to allow for her sentiments and woes to finally take flight from her lips, secrets that had been piling up free and for the world to see.

Not that she would have minded. 

There was silence here... and truth to be told, it had been enticing. Enticing to take one sweet bite of sharing the truth to him. And for a moment, for that one, single moment... she had truly contemplated in finally telling him. But it was not within her nature to seek out help. Foolish, she knew, but she did not want to drag her one friend, her only companion to this cruel, cruel world she was bounded to. No, he deserves better than that (yet words would still form, however, these words did not float out from her lips to stagnant in the air. You cannot help me, she wanted to say, You cannot understand what I must go through... you can’t help me, you can’t save me yet I need your help more than ever so please... help me...). 

There was silence here. And she stayed silent, worried. And he stayed silent, worried. And the two would not speak for a long, long time. Their hands laced to each other. The warmth radiating from Adrian’s hand was the one solace that she could find and she was fine with this.

Actually, it’s easier to explain OCs on here so I’ll go on ahead and get this out of the way:

ATWE stands for At The World’s End which is the canon of The Lich, Celia, Jun, Phoebe and friends! They’re the key characters so if you see their names in a tweet with another name you’ve never seen before you can safely assume they’re within the canon of ATWE! ATWE takes place in a fantasy story... with the time period being based off of early 20th century namely 1900-1920s. ATWE has been around since 2018 and honestly... I’d like to rewrite everything and try to work on it once I feel better with story telling and junk!

Grave of The Flowers is a story I’m working on now! It was a personal project I buried myself into when depression was bad last year esp after losing my cousin during the pandemic. The time period is very urban aka modern times BUT the world borrows elements from celtic folklore and shinto beliefs. The setting is very static since it takes place in a city called Dubnos (fun fact a place that’s like hell in celtic belief) with the city life something like Osaka and NYC because every time I make a city setting it’s gotta include my home city! It’s very east meets west and a melting pot of sorts. No, I don’t know when I’ll finally grow the balls to post the story as I feel my writing is... sucky! But that’s the current story. Characters are more talked about than ATWE but just in case to keep track: Freesia, Poppy, Mikan, Mikiya, Tsubasa, Anna, Nari, Yuki, Chika, Maya, Hinata, Nao, Shiraumehime and countless others hweoh... 

The cast is bigger... by mistake....

It makes it easier for me to plot out any fanfics or original stories. But with RP, I go for the dialogue first and then build the prose around that. I've gotten... pretty dialogue heavy thanks to RP hweoh... also this is my favorite video of all time. Whenever I'm sad I just play that. So there's a useless Amber fact for you
