A good amount of feels in this one so please...enjoy :)
Word Count: 4662
Loud knocking on their door startles you as both men roll their eyes.
“Do you have to be so aggressive?”, Steve scolds after opening it and allowing the curly haired boy entry. To his surprise, another boy followed behind him.
“I brought Mike to do some extra digging and help reroute the servers. We need to find out how they found you so we can make sure it doesn’t happen again.”, the young man explains before turning to face you. “Hi. I’m Dustin and this is my friend Mike.”
“I’m Y/N.”, you smile as you shake his hand.
“Cool.”, he beams as they throw their bags down and take a seat at the computer. “Why didn’t you guys mention you made a friend?”
“She’s not our friend. We kidnapped her and she’s here against her will. You know you’re our only friend Henderson.”, Eddie sass as he hovers over them.
“Ooo someone’s grouchy. When was the last time you ate?”
“It won’t help. This is always his demeanor.”, you tease making the vampire smirk in your direction.
As they began to work, you explained to them what happened and listened to their feedback with fascination. You had never met kids so young who knew about all these things that you did but it tickled your brain to finally have someone to bounce off your computer knowledge with. Eddie and Steve sat on the bed watching you with small smiles on their faces. They loved seeing you be happy especially the metalhead who could feel the warmth through to his soul.
“Where did you learn all this stuff, Y/N?”, Steve asked.
“Oh, um, that incident I told you about on the beach? That wasn’t the first time I ran off. When I was a kid and I knew my mom would have some creepy guy over I would stay with a friend whose dad was a computer whiz. That was when computers were much boxier though.”, you grin.
“Yeah and back then it was easier to get away with the things you’re trying to get away with right now because it was in its infancy. You said, Y/N, they intercepted the traffic but not during the stream?” Dustin nods when you affirm his answer.
“That means they still haven’t found the exact location so the bounce is still working. Maybe we can just reroute that?”, Mike suggests.
“Is there a way we can hide it all together?”
“Um, not exactly. I mean we CAN hide it but not completely.”, the curly haired teenager responds to your question. “This may take us awhile if you three want to go out or something.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, Henderson. Are we distracting you?”, Eddie jests making the younger boys chuckle.
“Come on, grouchy. Let’s go for a walk.”, you beam.
***
While you and the vampire went for stroll around the neighborhood, Steve offered to go to your house to get a couple more of your things so you’d have a change of clothes and essentials.
“So, they know all about your adventures in that scary place?”
“Oh yeah. They were handling it alone believe it or not for a while. Mike’s best friend was kidnapped by one of the monsters down there and they fought to get him back along with Mike’s girlfriend who has superpowers.”
“Jesus. There’s so much unknown in this world, huh. Kind of makes what I’ve been through seem so small.”
Eddie’s hand yanked you back as he came to a stop.
“It’s not though. Don’t invalidate yourself like that, princess.”
“Y/N Y/L/N! Where the hell have you been?!”, your best friend shouts from across the street.
“Hey Lilly.”
“Don’t you ‘hey Lilly’ me! I have been so worried. I almost filed a missing persons report! Where the fuck have—”
“I’m fine, Lil! Calm down. I’ve just been working a lot and hanging out with my friends. This is Eddie.”, you gesture towards him.
A sarcastic smile spread across her face before she marches toward him and hits his arm with her bag.
“I…have…been…worried…sick!”
“Ow! Hey, we told her to double check her phone.”, Eddie defends.
“Oh shit my phone. I’m so sorry. I haven’t checked in a while.”
“Y/N,” she sighs. “You can’t just disappear like that. I thought John maybe…”
“I don’t know where John is. I haven’t seen him since he came by my house.”
“Did you know Arthur’s missing to? Their dad is looking everywhere for them including your house. When he came to talk to me he said every time he goes to your place you aren’t home so… I panicked.”
“Lilly, honey, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. I’m alright, I swear.”
Your best friend exhales heavily as she wraps her arms around you.
“If I call you next time, you answer do you hear me?” She smiles as you give fake salute. “If you hurt her I will kill you.”
He flashes her a smile of his own as she turns around and heads back to her car.
“Should we be concerned about the dad?”, Eddie inquires. “She said he was looking for you and I felt your fear.”
“That entire family scares me but we should be ok.”, you try to comfort him but he still feels your hesitation. “Let’s, um, let’s go home.”
***
As dawn slowly approaches, you and the vampire begin to panic when Steve still hadn’t gotten back from your place.
“Do you feel him?”
“I don’t. Wherever he is he’s not feeling anything but that could also mean—”
“He’s knocked out. I’m going to my house.”
“Wait! I can run you there faster.”
“No you can’t. The sun is coming up! Just stay here, baby, ok?” Taking the human boy’s keys, you run to his car and speed over to your house. As you park in your driveway, you realize your front door is wide open and you can see your house has been ransacked. “Steve?”
Cautiously you step inside, grabbing a knife from the kitchen and holding it out as you look around. As you turn into your bedroom you find Steve passed out on the floor, bleeding from his chest.
“Steve?! No. No, no, no. Baby, wake up! Look at me!”
“Y/N?”, he mumbled at the sound of your voice.
“Fuck! Come on. We need to get you to Eddie.” Throwing his arm over your neck, you try to move him but it’s no use. He’s too heavy. “Please, Steve.”, you cry, finally giving up as you grab the phone to call 911. As soon as your hand makes contact with your device, something hard hits your head as the world goes dark.
***
“There she is. Come on now, Y/N.”, a deep voice urges as your eyes slowly blink open. “There we go. I thought you were never going to come home.”
Taking in your surroundings, Steve is still knocked out in front of you and still alive but his breathing is shallow. You were restrained to your bedframe on the ground with your hands tied behind your back and when your eyes finally landed on your capture, you came face to face with John and Arthur’s father.
“Good to see you again, Y/N. I see you’ve been busy.”, he gestures towards the bloody boy on the floor. “I guess my son wasn’t good enough for you. Where is he?”
“I don’t know.”
A hand flies across your face and you suddenly feel an anger in your belly you know isn’t yours. You must still have Eddie’s blood in you. Glancing out the window you realized it was almost sundown; you just needed to buy time.
“Arthur said John was coming her to confront you about you cheating. Then he disappears. Two days later my son goes looking for his brother over here and then he disappears. That’s not a coincidence, Y/N. Where are they?”
“I don’t know.”
He hits you again and once more that anger rises. You can practically feel the vampire fuming as he paces.
“If I were you, Thomas, I would leave now.”
“Oh? And why is that?”
“Because if you’re still here when the sun goes down, then you’ll be reunited with your asshole sons.”
Kneeling by your side, he holds the knife to your throat making you wince as he draws blood.
“What did you do to my kids?”
“It’s not what I did. It’s what they did to me! John hurt me constantly and the last night I saw him he gave me a black eye before he was ripped to shreds. Arthur fucking shot me before he was killed. I’m glad their gone but I feel bad for them having had you as a father!”
The man kicks your side hard causing you to double over in pain.
“Stop lying, bitch. If Arthur shot you, you wouldn’t be up and moving around like you are.”
Steve’s watch beeps on his wrist and you chuckle as you spit in his direction.
“Last chance to leave.” The front door crashes open as Eddie skids to a stop behind the man. “Too late.”
Closing your eyes, you listen as the vampire murders your ex’s father before there’s a sudden silence and you feel your binds being cut.
“Are you ok?”
“Steve... He needs you.”
You both crawl to his side as Eddie lifts him in arms.
“Steven, you have to drink now, baby, ok?” The boy’s eyes remain closed as his boyfriend shakes him. “No! No, sweetheart, don’t you dare leave me. FUCK! I’m so sorry.”
Lifting him into his arms, Eddie bites into his neck and slurps at his blood as you watch helplessly. After a few moments, he comes off him with a pop and swiftly slices open his wrist, allowing the blood to fall into the man’s mouth.
“Come on, Stevie. Please, baby.”, he whispered. Abruptly, Steve’s eyes snap open as he clings to his boyfriend’s arm and drinks causing the vampire’s eyes to roll back. “Fuck, that’s it. Good boy. Y/N…can…can you move?”
“Yeah, what do you need?”
“Take his keys and head back to our house. We’ll be right—mmm--there but I need you to get those boys out. I don’t…don’t care if they aren’t done.”
Nodding, you sprinted out the front door to do what you were told and sped back to their house.
“We rerouted everything and you guys are up and running again. I wouldn’t worry too much—Jesus. Y/N what happened?!”
“You two need to leave NOW.”
“Are you kidding?! What’s going on? Are Eddie and Steve alright?!”, Dustin shouted.
“YES!”, you lied. “But we need you guys to go to hotel or home. I promise you I’ll make him call you and tell you everything! PLEASE!”
Hesitating for only a moment, they quickly gathered their bags and you watched as they got into their rental car to drive off into the night. As soon as they disappeared, Eddie flew past you and placed Steve on the bed.
“I don’t know if it worked. He just passed out while drinking from me. Fuck. Fuck! I should have gone with you or gotten your things for you. Your house is never safe.” Sensing your guilt, he hastily turns around and cups your face. “No, hey. I didn’t mean it like that. This isn’t your fault, sweetheart. Ok? Shit.”, he flinches as he sways and you carefully guide him to the floor. “He took a lot from me. Can you—”
He didn’t even finish his sentence before you ran into the kitchen to find a bag of blood, tearing it open, and bringing it back to him. As he chugs it back, his black eyes scan you over.
“When I feel better, I can heal you to.”
“No, Eddie. I’m ok. I just want you to focus on you two.”
“Y/N, I woke up after 2 months…I don’t know how long it’s going to take him.”
###########
That evening, you looked after them both with Eddie refusing to leave his boyfriend’s side. Removing Steve’s shirt, you used a rag to clean the blood from where his stab wound had been and wiped away the mess around his mouth. All of the previous wounds were gone but his breathing was still extremely shallow.
Curling up behind Eddie, you held him as he cuddled up into Steve’s nook and caressed his face.
“Is this what it felt like, baby? When you thought I was gone… I’m so fucking sorry, Steve. You never should have experienced this. It hurts way more than those little fucker’s teeth ever did. Please, come back to me.”, he cried.
The memory of him waking up and feeling alone clouded his mind; the feeling of being lost before hearing his lover’s voice and their song on the little radio.
“'Cause all I can taste is this moment and all I can breathe is your life. So and sooner or later, it's over…I just don't wanna miss you tonight.”, Eddie sang softly before kissing his cheek. “I love you, Steve Harrington.”
***
The sound of thunder startled you awake and as soon as your eyes snapped open they were met with fangs and black eyes staring down at you. His hair was hanging in front of his face and he was still in just his jeans with no shirt. The man’s cold hands were pinning your wrists to the mattress as he hovered over you bent at the knee straddling your waist.
“Steve?”
He growled loudly at the sound of your voice causing the vampire beside you to jerk awake.
“Jesus Christ… it worked.”, Eddie murmured, his eyes quickly taking in the situation before him. “Sweetheart, are you alright?
Steve didn’t move or make an indication that he heard him at all.
“Baby, I can feel how hungry you are. I can take care of you, ok. You don’t need to feed on her.”
You squeaked when his body abruptly shifted as he leaned down to sniff your neck.
“Steven…”, he warned.
“Pretty girl…smells good. Hungry.”
You tried to control your emotions but you couldn’t help the way your pussy clenched as his long, wet tongue licked a line up your throat to your cheek. Steve and Eddie groaned at the same time driving you crazy.
“Mine.”
“Ours.”, the metalhead corrected.
“Hungry.”
“I have food in the refrigerator. You can NOT eat her. She needs to be healed first. She lost a lot of blood yesterday.”
Steve snarled but Eddie wasn’t amused anymore.
“You don’t talk to me or give me attitude, little boy. Vampire or not I’m still your fucking Daddy. Now, let her go or I swear to God I will punish you.”
The boy’s massive, strong palms ran along your head feeling the slight bump and dried blood that remained there causing him to growl again at a much lower register before biting into his skin and shoving his wrist towards your mouth.
Steve moaned when your lips attached to him while you drank, his hips grinding subtly against your core.
“Pretty girl. Hurt.”
“Yeah, Y/N got hurt trying to save you.” Eddie’s eyes fluttered as he tried to control all the intense emotions running through his body right now. He was so relieved that Steve was alive so to speak but he could feel his anger and hunger as well as his desire for you.
Grunting, he forcefully pushed you back against the pillows and glared at his partner with his fury filled black eyes.
“Who?!”
“Don’t worry, baby. Daddy took care of him.” The boy nodded before baring his fangs and leaning towards your neck, hovering just so before snarling in frustration and squeezing your wrists tighter. “What’s wrong, Steve?”
“Need…permission…”
The metalhead let out a breathy laugh that bordered between pleasure and relief. His boyfriend was still in there, he just needed to coax him out the way Steve did with him many times before.
“Y/N, princess, are you ok?”
“Yes, Daddy.”, you whimper causing the boy above you to smirk.
“Ok, my good boy. You can have her but when I say stop you have to listen to Daddy, understand?”
Steve nodded, wasting no time as his head fell back beside your neck and his teeth pierced your skin. As soon as his hands released you, you desperately reached between your bodies to push down his pants and move your panties to the side, groaning loudly as you guided his cock into your body.
“Fuck, Y/N.”, Eddie moaned. “I wish you…you could feel what he’s feeling. Jesus…”
Gripping the other side of your neck, Steve’s hips slammed into yours toeing that fragile border between pleasure and pain as you clung to shoulder.
“St-Steve…”
The long-haired boy heard the whine in your tone as tears fell from your eyes.
“What’s wrong, sweetheart? D-Do you need to stop?”
“Too much, Daddy.”
“Steve, you have to stop now, ok?”
The man growled when Eddie touched him causing him to growl back.
“Steven!”, you shouted in a firm tone making them both freeze. “L-Look at me NOW.”
Doing as you commanded, he lifted his head and his eyes immediately softened when he noticed the streaks of tears along your cheeks. Wrapping your legs around his waist, you urged him to continue while cupping his face.
“That’s it, baby. I can’t give…give you more blood but you can take me. I’m…I’m so sorry, Steve. This is my fault.”
His head shook as he blinked rapidly, his black eyes receding and his beautiful honey ones pushing forth.
“No…No, honey. This isn’t your fault.”
Hearing his normal, sweet tone broke you as you wrapped your arms tightly around him and he did the same.
“Keep going. Please. I need to feel you.”
Leaning his forehead against your own, he steadily began thrusting into you again at a much gentler rhythm.
“I love you, Y/N. Fuck, I can feel you everywhere. It’s ok. Everything’s alright.”
You both desperately panted into each other’s mouths as he felt your pussy tighten around him as you came, following close behind as you felt him fill you up.
With heavy eyes, you tried to focus your vision but it was too much as the adrenaline left your body and blood loss caught up with you.
“Sweetheart, no. Keep your… Baby?! Open…eyes…”
################
Flashes of memories hit you at once.
“Bill, are you kidding? You can’t stay another week just so you can fuck your whore! We have a son to take care of!”
“Mommy.”, five-year-old Steve coos as she slams the phone done after his father hung up on her. “Everything’s ok. I love you.”
“Hey, dad.”
“What is it, Steven? I’m busy.”
Twelve-year-old Steve twirls the basketball in his hand as he carefully enters his dad’s office a bit more.
“I, uh, wanted to tell you I made captain of the JV team.”
“Seriously? That’s why you bothered me? Get out of here and come back when you actually have something good to tell me.”
“Like we’re in love? You don’t love me?”
A teenage Steve’s hand falls from the girl’s face as she tells him their relationship is bullshit. It feels like his heart was shattered as he angrily leaves her behind in the bathroom.
“Ahoy. Welcome to Scoops. I’m your captain Steve. What can I get you?”
“Jesus, that was both pathetic and sexy, Harrington.” The man’s eyes shift up to lock on the metalhead in front of him as his big, tooth filled grin almost blinds him. “Only you could pull that off, pretty boy.”
“Eddie, right? Mumford?”
“Munson.”, the long-haired boy cackles. “I’m surprised you remember that much, sire. It’s not like we floated in similar circles. Plus, you were also an asshole.”
“Yeah.”, he chuckles. “I was. Sorry about that.”
The guitar riff for “Iris” begins to play making Eddie roll his eyes.
“What? You don’t like the Goo Goo Dolls?”, Steve teases.
“No and this song is fucking cheesy as hell.”
Turning on the couch to face him more, the man brings the beer bottle to his lips like a microphone as he begins to sing.
“And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am!”
The metalhead smiles as he playfully cringes causing Steve to laugh harder before crawling forward and placing a soft kiss on his lips.
“Woah…”
“Fuck. I’m sorry. Did I cross a line? I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. We can just forget it happened and—”
Ring laced fingers grab his cheeks and kiss him again but much more deeply.
“What if I don’t want to forget?”
“Wait, Eddie. Wait. Um…”, Steve pants as he lightly pushes at his boyfriend’s chest, his cock getting harder as he watches him struggle to pull his lips away from his own.
“What’s wrong, baby?”, Eddie asks as he tenderly runs his fingers through the man’s fluffy hair. “We don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.”
“No, no. I do. I just…I’m nervous. I’ve never…not been with a girl…ya know?”
The metalhead grins at his shyness as Steve’s face blushes bright red.
“I’ll go slow, sweetheart, ok? If at any point you want to stop just say the word.”
After getting the go ahead, Eddie strokes the lube along his shaft a few more times before lining himself up with the man’s entrance and gradually sliding in.
“Fuck, Steve. You’re so fucking tight.” Opening his eyes, he scans the man underneath him whose eyes had also been closed but his eyebrows and nose were scrunched together. “Look at me, pretty boy. How are you feeling?”, he asks when he does what he says.
“S-So fucking good. Hurts a little bit but—Jesus—please don’t stop.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.”, he teased, placing his palm behind Steve’s neck as he leaned his forehead on his own.
“Fuck, Eddie. I love you, baby. Just like that.”
The metalhead’s movements faltered for just a second before grinning down at him and kissing his lips.
“I love you to, sweetheart.”
“Oh my god, Steve! What—”
The boy pushes past Eddie into the trailer living room, his dripping wet frame from the rain drenching the carpet underneath his shoes.
“FUCK HIM! He thinks he can tell me who to be or who I can be with?! Fuck. HIM!”
Eddie grabs his arms and forces him to stand still as he looks him over.
“Who the fuck hit you?”, he asked with a tone filled with anger. “Was it Tommy or fucking Jason?!”
“My dad finally caught up with the town gossip.”, he answered sarcastically as he bounced on the balls of his feet. “Said no son of his was going to ruin the Harrington name by fucking a guy let alone the town freak. I told him to fuck off and that you were perfect. He said it was either you or them. If I chose to stay with them I couldn’t see you anymore. I told them I loved you and he hit me. And of course, what does my mom do?! Fucking NOTHING!”
Steve fell to his knees and Eddie sunk down with him collecting him in his arms.
“It’s ok, baby. Everything’s alright. You can stay here as long as you need to. Fuck your parents. You know Wayne doesn’t care.”
Eddie pushed his boyfriend’s head into his chest, trying to soothe him as he continued to cry.
“Eddie! Eddie! No, no, no, no.”, Steve panicked as he slid to the man’s side in the upside down.
“I tried, Steve. I tried to convince him to come through the gate with me. He said he needed to buy more time.”, Dustin sobbed as the earth shook around them.
“Steve, we need to go.”
“Ok, come on, Robin. Grab one of his arms and…”
The girl looked at Nancy sympathetically unsure of what to do. Even she knew they couldn’t carry him through a gate in the ceiling. None of them had the strength especially after being grabbed by the vines.
“Steve, come on. We have to go.”, Nancy urged, pushing down the guilt that weld up in her throat. “We can’t stay here.”
“Neither can he. We can pick him up and I can—”
“STEVE! I’m so sorry.”
“Hey Mina.”
“Hey Renfield. Draculaaaaa.”, you jest, smiling widely when you see him smirk. “Thank you boys again for letting me help with your site. I love doing this way more than any other customer service bullshit.”
“I can imagine. I used to work at an ice cream parlor and a video store. I know how crazy customers can be.”
“I hope it’s alright. Since you trusted me with your whole empire I thought I’d be more vulnerable with you both to.”
The little box with your name suddenly illuminated with your face causing them both to sigh at the same time.
“So…this is me.”, you giggle nervously.
“Pretty girl.”
“Very.”, Steve followed, beaming when you blushed at their compliments.
***
“There she is. Come on, baby girl. Open your eyes, please.”, Eddie urged as he gently rocked you in his arms, trying desperately to hide how worried he actually was.
When your eyes met his, he breathed a heavy sigh of relief as he tenderly moved some of the hair away from your face.
“Steve?”
“I’m right here, honey. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to take so much. This is so new to me and—”
Your lips cut him off as you crawled into his lap and collapsed shakily in his embrace.
“Let me grab her something to eat.”
“I saw it. I saw everything… your memories flashed before my eyes. You’ve been through too much, baby.” He couldn’t help but smile as he kissed your forehead. “I-I-I felt the love you have for him. How many times you felt like he’s saved you.”
Eddie came back and handed you a granola bar but you just held it in your palm as you sobbed while shifting your focus to him.
“It’s my fault you almost lost him. You both should just go. Grab your things and leave me and LA behind. I’m going to get you both killed.”
Steve growled loudly as he grabbed your face and forcibly turned you to look at him.
“Y/N, what happened wasn’t your fault. What happened with your ex and his asshole brother wasn’t your fault.” Realizing how he was holding you; he swallowed nervously and dropped his hands to your sides. His body twitched and Eddie felt the emotion as he lightly chuckled.
“Yeah, do you see what I mean now when I said it aggravates me that you both feel guilty about things you couldn’t control. You two feel it so strongly to.”
“It’s so weird. It’s like I can almost hear her thoughts but it’s a feeling. You…don’t believe me when I say it’s not your fault. You think your mom’s right about you. That you just ruin everything basically by existing.”
As you looked away in shame, Eddie reached out to lift your chin.
“I get what it feels like to think that. My dad was the same way before he went in but, Y/N, it kills me when I feel you feeling that because—”
“You can’t see how perfect you are… to us anyway.”, Steve finishes.
Silently, you opened the treat he brought you as you waited for them to take care of you. Watching with studious eyes, Eddie licked his thumb and showed his boyfriend how he heals the bites, marveling when the wound disappears.
“I always did it while you were both asleep.” The metalhead scooted forward and cupped Steve face in his hands as the shared a passionate kiss. “Don’t you ever scare me like that again, sweetheart. I love you so much, Steve Harrington.”
“I love you to, Eddie Munson.”

I'm just gonna go on a rant real quick, on
Why 2021 - 2024 are the Worst Years of my Life
TRIGGER WARNING: May contain references of violence, and illness. The reader's discretion is advised.
Ever since March 13th of 2020, about 4 years ago, the world has gone downhill because of the fear of death. The Coronavirus ruined everything. I'll give you my rundown.
In 2020, COVID kicked everyone's ass. The USA was quarantined for two weeks. Toilet paper was vanishing left and right. Everyone stayed home for what seemed like forever.
In 2021, Friday Night Funkin' became the hot new thing. I made two new blogs. I met @oogaboogaspookyman for the first time, and his actions will forever change how I see things, for the better. My boyfriend moved away to another state, so we had to part ways. My negligent sister (she was living with me, my brother and my mom at the time) whom I will call Jessica, has finally moved out of our house. Things were going great for the first 10 months, but then December 5th came. My mom was diagnosed with COVID. Now, WE had to stay home for 2 MORE weeks. My narcissistic sister (who only had 1 kid at the time) whom I will call Karen, stayed with us. Everyone was trapped in their rooms. I had my own, my brother had HIS own, my sister and her son shared one, my mom had her own, you know the drill. It was kind of cool, staying home for 2 weeks, finally having my own room after a decade of sharing one with at least one of my brothers. It felt like I could do anything without anyone looking. We were quarantined, so why not? Once the quarantine was lifted, it was already Christmastime, and we only had a week to shop. After the quarantine was lifted, I felt my first case of derealization. Words cannot describe how awful it felt. Everything was blurry, but... not blurry... at the same time. It felt like everything was shifting, but not moving. I remembered myself standing in my room, feeling really weirded out and scared that everything was losing its form. Then, it stopped. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.
In 2022, Sonic.EXE became popular again. I finally got a Meta Quest 2 VR headset. Karen officially moved in with us. That was her first mistake. She should've just stayed with my drunk-as-all-hell dad who lived next door. I was introduced to Ori and the Blind Forest. I loved it. It became my favorite game. Then, what clicked in my head, verified me as... a furry. That just made matters worse. People at school made fun of/bullied me for being an "EwW fUrRy WhY dOn't YoU cHoOsE a DiFfErEnT pAtH???" I became more violent as time went on. Why are people like this? Why do people call someone out for the stupidest reasons?
In 2023, I was invited to the dark side of the moon. New peeps in the world (and my house) so my two sisters, Karen, and another who I will call Georgia, had kids. Georgia and her boyfriend were driven out of their house by roaches, so they moved with us. Both of my sisters became greedy little shit stains. Now, we have 3 maggots running around the house. I suffered through my second case of derealization. This time, I'm sharing a room with my brother yet again. I hate it. But, I'm sure glad I have a Wii again. My hyperfixation is now Night in the Woods again. We went camping. It was fun. It was... fine...
Now, 2 months ago, my aunt, who I will call Dorothy, passed away due to an overdose. This rocked me to my core. Rest in peace, aunt Dorothy. The house, in shambles. My sanity, running low. Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 came out. I now have a new hyperfixation: the Smiling Critters. Things were not looking good.
It is now March 4th, 2024. I feel like absolute shit. I have too many assignments and projects to catch up on. My life is becoming more and more similar to Mae Borowski's.
I now know how @thelonelyfeline feels.
My life is starting to become the vibes of this song.

Summary:
The woods are just trees, the trees are just wood While on a family hiking trip, Danny gets lost in the woods, but luckily he's found by a kind stranger who offers him refuge. Into the woods without delay, but careful not to lose the way Something seems off, however, but between being lost in the woods, or taking the risk to go into a house with food, Danny doesn't have much of a choice. Into the woods, who knows what may be lurking on the journey? Unaware of his new destiny, Danny has to survive the trials ahead, as he's unwittingly crowned the next heir of the Infinite Realms. Into the woods to see the King, earn a crown, and wear a ring. Into the woods, without delay, to face our ghost we know the way
Danny grumbles, kicking the stupid sticks, and leaves out of his way. One moment, he had been following his family on a hike in the woods, to build “stronger family bonds” and “build character” and whatever that third thing his dad had gone on about.
And then the next thing he knew, he had spotted something weird on a tree. It looked like some weird glowing green goo oozing out of it. Best to just ignore that, only to notice his family was already gone and out of sight. This was not how he had wanted his day to go. Bad enough he had to be out in the woods when he could’ve just stayed home or with Tucker until his family came back from their camping trip.
Danny had hoped to spend his first week of summer vacation lazing around and hanging out with his friends, but when had he ever just gotten to do what he wanted to do?
“Never,” Danny mutters as he continues along what he thinks is the path, but he hesitates. He remembered his mom mentioning what to do if he was lost in the woods: to sit down and wait for help, but there was only one problem with that.
Danny did not like to sit still . He couldn’t sit down and wait, so Danny set out in the direction he thought his family had been heading in, but as the minutes turned to hours in his now solo hike. The shadows stretched and cast long shades around him as he walked. Danny began to feel uneasy. He still hadn’t heard his parents calling for him, he couldn’t recognize anything around him, and he was starting to get hungry.
“I could’ve been home. I could’ve just been at home playing video games. Not lost in the woods,” Danny mutters, finding comfort in his voiced thoughts, even if they were just to relieve some of his panic. The panic that he feels rises as he slowly comes to the understanding that he isn’t just looking for his family.
Danny Fenton, age 14, is lost.
The sun sinks lower and lower, and soon, Danny has to pull out his hand-cranked flashlight to light up the now-dark path, his senses on high alert. Every shadow was a monster, and every snapping stick was a creature waiting to drag him away from his little path.
But Danny is unique in handling stressful situations; he’s a 14-year-old boy with parents who believe in the supernatural and a super-smart older sister who does more lecturing and parenting than his own parents.
So, he complains.
“Woods are dumb, they’re just filled with stupid leaves and stupid squirrels and not a single useful thing in the world. It’s all stupid!”
He kicks the ground in frustration, and he finally takes note of how tired he is. His legs ached, his hands were shaking, and the hunger is here.
He rubs at his eyes, ignoring how they burned before stubbornly continuing to walk, not caring if he knows where he’s going now. Sticking to a path will lead some somewhere. He just needs to find his family and find them fast.
But the sun is setting; the little flashlight wouldn’t be enough soon, and if he sits down now, he’ll be a sitting duck. So, he walks to keep his mind off his nerves. He walks even as it gets too dark to see, and the air grows cold and crisp.
Before the fear can set in – before he starts to scream in hopes someone will find him– a twig snaps behind him.
He whirls around with a yelp, only to come face to face with a man with pale gray hair. For a second, Danny thinks he sees his eyes glow before the man raises his hand up, and blinks revealing a deep blue.
“Bit late for you to be walking around in the woods, don’t you think?”
His voice is deep, yet his tone is light.
Danny’s still catching his breath, his hand gripping his flashlight, and he’s blinking away the burning in his eyes again as he slowly lowers his flashlight and takes a step back.
“Hey, are you alright?” the man asks, his voice warm, he’s wearing a sweater and light pink striped pajama pants. He’s holding his own flashlight downwards so as not to blind Danny with it.
“I-I’m… I can’t find my family,” Danny manages, still shaken. The man nods, looking around in the darkness before looking back down at Danny. Danny also makes note of how tall this guy is. Not the giant his dad is, but definitely past the 6-foot height.
“I figured, you're a long way from the hiking trail, and in the direction you were headed you’d hit the river, but by then you’d be a three-day hike from the trail.” The man steps forward and brings himself down to Danny’s level. Once again Danny can’t help but take a step back but the man offers him a smile. The man then holds something out for him, and Danny can smell it before he sees it.
It’s beef jerky, and he hates jerky. He snatches it anyway. With the first bite, he fully registers how starved he was.
“You’re alright now. I know you’re probably wary of strangers in the woods, but right now, you’ve two choices. Stay here and wait for a search party to find you, or come with me. There’s not much service out here, but once we reach my cabinet, I’ve got a landline we can call your parents with.”
“How do you know I have parents?”
“I assume most children do. Would you prefer the term guardians?” the man says with a slight smile, and somehow that does make him feel better, and even if this was a bit freaky, what choice did he have?
Danny nods, and the man slowly turns and begins leading the way, with Danny a few just a few paces behind.
“What’s your name? What’re you even doing out here?” Danny asks, after a few moments of silence. The guy wasn’t much of a chatterbox, but Danny’s never met a silence he couldn’t fill; not even detention stood a chance.
The man lets out a small chuckle but answers easily enough; he seems to fall into an easy pace, making stepping over roots and random dirt pits look easy, almost like he’s floating while Danny stumbles here and there.
“My name is Vladimir Masters, and a late-night stroll on my own property tends to be a nice way to pass the time out here.”
“Your property? We’re in the middle of the woods last I checked,” Danny says with a confused frown. While Vlad probably couldn’t see it, he most definitely could hear it.
The man stops and turns a bit back toward the boy, letting Danny finally catch up to him.
“I own about 30 acres around here to get away from the public; notwithstanding the occasional hiker that gets lost now and then, it does well to let me get some privacy.”
“Away from the public?” Danny asks as Vlad seems to turn in a random direction, only for Danny to notice the small trail Vlad is leading them along.
“Are you famous or something…?” Danny trails off as his eyes finally catch the first signs of civilization. The house came up, a beacon of light in the dark forest, and it was huge . Cabinet his ass.
“Or something, yes; I own a couple of companies, a few patents here and there.” Vlad shrugs as he climbs up on the dazzling patio, a string of lights glowing just a bit brighter as he approaches.
Danny, a little less fearful and a little more hopeful climbs, the steps and walks in without hesitation. He’s in awe at the high ceilings and the strange antler chandelier and doesn’t notice Vlad still at the door.
He doesn’t see the man's shifting eyes or hear the small murmur of words he says under his breath. Danny only catches the shadows out of the corner of his eye and turns to see Vlad close the door behind him with only a slight click. Vlad smiles before he motions for Danny to follow him.
“I’m sure you're famished. Jerky can only do so much. Let’s get you something more filling to eat. Afterward, we can see about getting you in touch with your parents. Unfortunately, I don’t have my cell phone on me since I tend to not have my technology on me when I’m out in the woods; it tends to distract me from my relaxation time. Luckily I did think ahead and installed a landline.”
Danny feels the cool touch of air on his arm as Vlad opens the fridge. He expects to see mountains of food, not to be greeted by anything less than stuffed full. Staring in confusion, Vlad reaches past Danny and pulls out a black container which he places in the microwave without any fanfare.
“The staff stocks the fridge up when I alert them of my visits,” Vlad says offhandedly, and Danny remembers that okay, rich people things.
“Let this warm up and you can eat up, my boy. Then we can alert the authorities as to your whereabouts, and let your parents know you're alright.” Vlad gives him a small reassuring smile, and while Danny just wants to relax, to finally let the fear of getting lost in the woods fall behind him, he can’t shake the lingering chill.
Danny instead nods, and lets his eyes wander, taking in the black marble, the sleek black stools, and another chandelier.
The microwave beeps and all the worry and tension melt away at the smell of rich, fresh food. Vlad slides his portion over with a black steel fork already in his hand. Danny hesitates on the first bite but then scarfs the rest down, not looking up as he devours the contents, barely caring what to is.
He doesn’t even look at Vlad, as the man’s calm composure cracks, revealing a smile full of teeth, with a blood-red mist seeping through his lips, and flashing red eyes as he watches Daniel eat the meal without a second thought.
Vlad runs a hand through his hair, taking a breath as he turns to leave the room, back to normal as though nothing ever shifted.
“Eat up, young Daniel! You’re welcome to have as much as you’d like, I’ll be back in just a moment, young lad, those authorities won't call themselves,” he calls out, and Danny grunts in acknowledgment as he finishes the last spoonful.
Turning to the fridge without any shame, he grabs another black container, tearing off the lid. Not even bothering to warm up the meal, he forgoes his fork, using his hands, barely chewing through one meal until he was on to the next, and the next. The scraping of his nails on the container was the only sound in the kitchen.
He’s so focused on shoveling whatever he was eating into his stomach, he doesn’t question the absolute silence of the cabin home, how there isn’t even a single flicker of light or soft wind from the outside.
Finally, finally, he slows down, patting at his stomach, and lets out a large burp like any proud 14-year-old would. He feels full and now he’s his with such a wave of drowsiness he debates just laying his head down on the counter and falling asleep.
He debates it for a moment, only to remember that Vlad was supposed to make a call, but he hadn’t come back.
Minutes feel like hours, and maybe an hour has passed, and when Vlad still isn’t back, Danny shoves himself off the kitchen counter he’d been leaning on – and remembering his manners, dumps all the empty containers into the sink– before making his way towards the doorway.
“Um, Mister Vlad?” Danny calls out, peeking around the doorway of the kitchen and up the stairs. The lights upstairs seemed to die out the higher up his eyes traveled, but there was still a soft light he could just make out the corner before it seemed to flicker and vanish.
He feels uneasy, and he feels that same goosebumpy feeling he’d felt when Vlad first found him in the woods.
However, with the promise of a phone at the top of the stairs Danny slowly climbs, pushing away the strange feeling.  His feet drag up the stairs, unaware of the growing shadows crawling off the walls of the kitchen, consuming it in darkness, the light traveling with him as he made it up and studied the strange paintings he found there.
He feels a sudden chill as he makes it to the top of the stairs, the sudden cool air chasing away some of the drowsiness as he looks around the hall, trying to remember which way Vlad had gone.
Ultimately Danny chooses to take the right, turning the corner into the hallway.
He admires the soft plush red carpet, and for a moment wonders if he should have taken off his dirty shoes.
He starts to make note of his surroundings. The walls are beige in color and he can’t tell if it’s wallpaper or paint, but can’t help but run his hand between where the colored sections meet the dark wood. It’s warm to the touch.
“Mister Vlad?” Danny calls out again, waiting to hear some kind of reply, as he turns another corner, still taking in the small antler chandeliers that add that lumberjack vibe to the cabin and even takes a moment to look at the picture frames on the wall.
Where he expects creepy portraits of people to stare back at him like any classic haunted house, the frames are just full of paintings of scenery. Pictures of the forest, from different angles and seasons, as if they weren’t already surrounded by miles of it.
He continues down the hall, the fluffy carpet, and the warmth of the cabin almost too comforting. As the chill leaves Danny, he feels his eyes growing heavy, his limbs dropping at his side.
He finally realizes how tired he is.
“Mister Vlad!” Danny calls, fighting back a yawn even as one of his hands comes to rub at his eyes. “Where’d you go?”
He feels his eyes fall closed for just a second, sleep calling him before he jumps awake only to find himself standing in front of an open door. The wood is the same brown tone as the wall and as it creaks open Danny sees into the room.
There is a large king-size bed with an unnecessary number of pillows and a pale-yellow comforter. The warm yellow lights fill up the room, and Danny feels himself almost tugged inside.
He notes the decor, the yellows, navy blues, and even touches of gray in the room. His feet go from plush carpet to hardwood floors, and he stops at the edge of the gray carpet just one step away from the bed.
Danny glances at an actual fireplace to his right, chasing away the cold, and the slight scent of pumpkin somehow fills the room.
Danny hears the door shut behind him; the click is light, and he’s too transfixed by how comfortable the bed looks to register that the door has closed by itself.
A canopy keeps out just the right amount of light and he’s already kicking off his shoes.
“Mister Vlad! ‘M going to bed!” He doesn’t care if he can find him anymore, or if Vlad even hears him.
That should freak him out, but any urgency of reaching his parents slowly dies down as Danny feels almost numb from his exhaustion.
He just wants to sleep, and as soon as his body hits the mattress, the soft touch of the comforter and the warmth of the bed are almost heavenly .
As soon as he barries his face into the cool silk pills Danny slips into a deep, deep sleep.
The soft comfort is the last sensation he feels until all he can do is dream.

A/N:
I like "Into the Woods", It's a good musical, so yeah couldn't help putting up some parody lyrics.
And hi! Welcome to my new story, and my submission for Invisobang 2023! This was my first time participating in anything like this, and I entered as an author and got straight to work.
I had a lot of fun working on this submission, and the fact that it's my first completed work on AO3 is something I am proud of. It's also been an interesting story since it's my first time dipping my brain into the horror genre, and probably the last (at least for now).
And to add a few more words for Kay! I had the amazing privilege of working and being paired with KayleNosferatu who is SUCH AN AMAZING ARTIST. Half the fun little plot in this story would not exist without her input, and any time I felt I was losing motivation for this story, her art kept me going! I cannot sing enough praises for how amazing she is, not only as a person but as an artist. Her style fit so perfectly with my story, I couldn't ask for a better partner in crime!
So enjoy the story! And do mind the tags! There are some triggers in here, and I'm not quite sure I got all the tags, but there is a brief description of a corpse, maggots, overeating, known as ghost hunger, and the abuse of a minor.
Vlad is an asshole in this so beware!
Also a quick shout out to me Beta Readers! Z and VentisetteStars! These two helped me so much!
Enjoy our hard work!

The letter...
Tumblr media
Soon after the liberation of the Belarusian city of Liozno in 1944, when parsing the brickwork of a destroyed furnace in one of the houses, a small yellow envelope sewn with threads was found. It turned out to contain a letter from a Belarusian girl named Katya Susanina, who was forced into slavery to a Hitlerite landowner. Driven to despair, on the day of her 15th birthday, she decided to commit suicide.
Before she died, she wrote her last letter to her beloved father. On the envelope was the address: “Active Army. Field mail No.... to Susanin Peter”. On the other side, the words are written in pencil: “Dear uncle or aunt, who finds this letter hidden from the Germans, I beg you, drop it right into the mailbox. My corpse will already be hanging on a rope.”
⬇️ The contents of the letter:
“March, 12, Liozno, 1943.
Dear, kind daddy!
I am writing you a letter from German bondage. When you read this letter, Daddy, I won't be alive. And my request to you, Father: punish the German bloodsuckers. This is your dying daughter's will.
A few words about mother. When you get back, don't look for Mom. She was shot by the Germans. When they were asking about you, the officer hit her in the face with a whip. Mom could not stand it and proudly said, here are her last words: “You will not intimidate me with a beating. I am sure that my husband will come back and throw you vile invaders out of here.”
And the officer shot Mom in the mouth...
Daddy, I turned 15 today, and if you met me now, you wouldn't recognize your daughter. I have become very thin, my eyes have sunk in, my pigtails have been cut off, my hands have dried up, they look like a rake. When I cough, blood comes out of my mouth — my lungs have been knocked out.
Do you remember, Dad, two years ago, when I turned 13? What a good birthday party I had! You, Dad, then said to me: “Grow up, daughter, for the joy of a big one!” The gramophone was playing, my friends congratulated me on my birthday, and we sang our favorite pioneer song.
And now, Dad, when I look at myself in the mirror — the dress is torn, in scraps, the number on the neck, like a criminal, she is thin as a skeleton, and salty tears flow from her eyes. What's the point that I turned 15 years old. Nobody needs me. Here, many people are not needed by anyone. Hungry, hunted by shepherds roam. Every day they are taken away and killed.
Yes, Dad, and I am a slave of a German baron, I work for the German Charlene as a laundress, I wash clothes, I wash floors. I work a lot, but I eat twice a day in a trough with “Rose” and “Clara” — that's the name of the owner's pigs. The baron ordered it. “Russ was and will be a pig,” he said. I am very afraid of “Clara”. This is a big and greedy pig. She almost bit off my finger once when I was getting potatoes out of the trough. I live in a woodshed: I'm not allowed to enter the room. Once Jozef's Polish maid gave me a piece of bread, and the hostess saw and beat Jozef on the head and back with a whip for a long time.
Twice I ran away from the owners, but their janitor found me. Then the baron himself tore off my dress and kicked me. I was losing consciousness. Then they poured a bucket of water on me and threw me into the basement.
Today I learned the news: Jozefa said that the gentlemen are leaving for Germany with a large party of slaves and female slaves from the Vitebsk region. Now they're taking me with them. No, I'm not going to this thrice-cursed Germany! I decided it was better to die on my native side than to be trampled into the cursed German land. Only death will save me from a cruel beating.
I don't want to suffer any more as a slave to the damned, cruel Germans who didn't let me live!..
I bequeath, Dad: avenge Mom and me.
Goodbye, good daddy, I'm going to die.
Your daughter Katya Susanina.
My heart believes: the letter will reach you.”

TW: depression, sui ideation, the big sad, etc etc
I hate schoolwork. It’s petty, it’s silly, it’s beneath me, but I am so fed up with it. I am 20 years old and I haven’t graduated high school. There are so many good messages on here about not needing to meet any artificial timetable. That we can do things in our own time. But holy crap guys I’ve been stagnating for so long. I’ve been fighting an uphill battle with this part of high school for three years now.
I started homeschooling halfway through Grade 10. I have self-guided courses that I can do on my own time which still earn me credits to go towards my high school diploma. When I started, I was working at a pace that (if maintained) would have let me graduate a year early. I was masking ADHD, anxiety, and depression so all of that slowly leaked out. I was procrastinating, oversleeping some days then under-sleeping others. I developed an unhealthy habit of eating when I felt bored and like I needed a distraction. Some life things happened like my mom getting cancer (she’s alive and well, but her neutral state of “healthy” will never be the same) and my dad kicking out the three of us (mom, brother, and me) for a while because my dad and brother had a fight.
Those nights were the closest I got to killing myself. We had nothing but the clothes on our backs and some cash we were able to use for a hotel. He did this to his immunocompromised wife during the height of the pandemic. He didn’t care. Even when we were let back in the house (because we threatened to involve the police) he didn’t speak to us for days. I was hardly eating. A family friend talked to all of us over Zoom and referred to my dad’s doings as a “hiccup”. I want to be a forgiving person. I like to think that everyone deserves a second chance. But I can’t say honestly that I’ve forgiven my father. I don’t think I’ve even forgiven the family friend for calling it a “hiccup”. He probably didn’t even know the whole situation, but it stung so bad. And I hugged my father that day. As if it was fine. As if he doesn’t still scare me and I lose the air in my lungs when he stands behind me.
Ever since then my life has been derailed. In the summer of 2020 I started treatment for depression and anxiety. The summer I should have graduated. Some time in 2021 I was diagnosed with ADHD twice because the first person to do it never kept proper records and then left the hospital she was working at. So it was as if my diagnosis never happened. So 6 months after the first time, the second diagnosis finally happened. I’m on medication for it now. I thought it was helping, but I’ve been so useless again for months now and with no changes in meds to explain it. I also might have undiagnosed autism, which really stings because I was neglected when I was younger and the excuse was that my brother needed the attention since he’s autistic. Anyway. I don’t have the energy to shower regularly. I hate needing to make food for myself. I literally have two courses left then I’m done high school for good. 5 basic-ass assignments then it’s over. But instead I watch YouTube and try to make stupid music on my laptop to get a tiny hit of dopamine. I search “help” and sort by latest on Tumblr to see if there is anyone I can comfort or cheer up. Is it actually altruism? Or am I just so starved for attention and validation and companionship that I try to please anyone I can? Do I try to help others because I may as well since I’m the only person I can’t come through for?
With all of this, I have friends who are pressuring me to move out very very quickly. They know how much living at home is making me hurt and ache so I know they’re coming from a good place. But I can hardly take care of my own health and hygiene, how they hell do they expect I can take care of a home and hold a job?
That’s why I don’t just hate schoolwork. I definitely do, but that’s not all of it. I hate schoolwork because it’s a testament to just how stuck I am in life. In this one place. Writing a few sentences to an essay each day if I’m lucky. I hate it. I just hate it so much.
One of those friends. We like each other. So so much. We want a future together. Her and I. But she is one of the ones trying to rush me. I know we both want me to be in a good place before starting a relationship. But she also doesn’t want to be in limbo forever while I work out my issues. So it’s like an ultimatum. At this rate I need to move out in the next month or two or I’m gonna lose her for good, it seems. That’s as far as one of our mutual friends of the group knows. So now I have another point of pressure to get my act together before things crash and burn even more. But it had the opposite effect because I feel lost and stuck and like I can’t do anything.
This is just to vent. Cause idk what else to do than rant and maybe just maybe I’ll stop being a piece of trash. God. I hate myself so much rn. I’m such a stupid worthless prick. Dammit.

April 4th, 2022.
Long time no see, diary. Living alone can be such a mixed blessing sometimes. I hated living with my mom — you know, the daily humiliation, all the charges and lack of personal space, privacy, independence and individuality. I felt it being raped everyday, such as:
Now that I finally find myself in this situation and simultaneously in the “beloved” city I’ve wanted to live since I was thirteen — I suddenly find myself facing new challenges, which is good. Except they can seem haunting when you’re learning it all by yourself. I’m glad I have my high school friend Yasmin to help me out with some things, but mostly I’m having to figure everything out by myself. Like taking better care of finances, my monthly financial balance and trying to save as much as I can. I also have to clean cat dirt and poo, which I hate lol, but it’s the price, I guess. Mostly my mental health has gotten at least 50% better since I’ve left home in Fortaleza. I still have to go back there in May or June to pick up some things, and I don’t plan on staying too long because of my mother’s “claws”. She can be a perfect housekeeper when she wants and an amazing host, but I shall remind myself it’s only a mask. It would fade away as quick as ocean waves momentarily visiting the shores, just as it leaves again when the bigger wave comes. Losing itself in it’s own immensity, just like me in that house. I am too wild and free to allow myself being trapped in that place. Of course it would be more convenient financially perhaps or whatever. But peace and mental health don’t really get a price. Or you have it, or you don’t.
Things have gotten a little shitty too as soon as I arrived here — just as the Tarot card said, (the Moon) there would be illusions in the way. Mostly affectionate, I now realize. R. is on a relationship and totally ghosted me, which isn’t news or surprising given the history (circa 2016). But I still find myself disappointed for giving him a chance to prove he’s different when he isn’t at all. I think I should learn from it.
These days were awful as I had all those problemas and a horse kicking PMS which led me totally needy and freaked out. I messed up real bad with a good friend which I had second intentions and realizing how stupid I was hurt me. I just feel like a big idiot and I’m trying the best I can to forget it all ever happened and move on with my life.
The good part:
I met São José dos Campos, though. It was an amazing weekend. FH was sweet and took me for a lot of rides in his motorcycle, which is very pretty and reminded me of the days I used to road travel with dad. I told him about my problems and the PMS, and he took me to get Ice Cream where he used to work and bought me a big chocolate bar of my preference. That I was sweet. Made me feel so much better. Later on, we went on a cool rock and snooker bar type where all our favorite hard rock songs played as he taught me how to play the snooker. I rolled us a joint and met a couple of his friends, which were very cool and nice as well.
Tumblr media
We slept at a horse-ranch sort of motel because we didn’t had much money to afford a hotel itself, and it would be way more expensive. But still, we had so much fun. They had a horse saddle in the middle of nowhere in the room lol. And they also had a nice bathtub with a massage system. We had Stevie Ray Vaughan and blues playing all night long. I didn’t complaint at all, I felt amazing. We also got some wine.
The next day he took me for a walk in the park and I got to pick up some flowers to dry and hang in my new bedroom, sort of try to stamp my face and personality in it. It currently feels void and grey, and I’m simply the opposite of that.
I’m full of things, interests, music, endless imagination and I love the colorful of nature and… pretty much everything else I think might be pretty. Happily I no longer hold myself to the black clothing only (Yeah 12 year old Ranya, I’m talking to you). Just to end this paragraph: he made us lunch, an amazing spaghetti with tomato sauce and other stuff like Marcelo does. It’s a short trip, time went by very kickly as I daydreamed and listened to my songs on the bus.
Back in São Paulo, I’ve made friends with my uber. I always do in here when I get to pick one (coughs* I’m saving money by using the bus and subway). They are very friendly in here and we talk a lot, the distance goes by very quick. I’ll probably never get to see most of them again, but I always leave feeling awesome as they wish me luck and tell me how awesome and brave I am for my decisions and life story. I guess I should see myself this way more often.
I’m now trying to focus in the current moment and trying to be mindful about things, now allowing myself to be caught up in small problems with huge emotional withdrawals. Also ‘cause I simply don’t have time or energy for that anymore. I should be soon getting a job and looking after psychology and neuroscience colleges. I must confess, sometimes I miss my Fortaleza friends. I’ll never forget them. Here are some pictures of the weekend:

Accidental Family
Hey folks! This is one of two fics for the six month celebration of this blog! Woohoo! Blood on the Ice is one of the most popular series I've written, and expanding it into Josie’s (@prohibitionincurls ) Winging It world with her was unbelievably fun. Disclaimer: one of the OCs has ADHD and it is a central theme of the story--while Josie based some of his characteristics on her own experience, we both recognize that this is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Thank you again for six amazing months, and I hope you enjoy!
Lots of love,
Eve <3
TW for mentioned injury
“Oh my god, they’re gonna kill me,” the kid whispered in a wavering voice, sounding much younger than he actually was as he left the penalty box.
“They’re not going to kill you,” Bowie soothed, still watching the tunnel where Remus had disappeared mere minutes earlier. From what he saw, there had been a bit of blood, but the bruising didn’t look too bad. Then again, there had barely been enough time for anything to visibly swell before he was whisked away.
“Can I just stay in the box?” Felix cast a look toward the Lions bench and his voice cracked. “They can’t yell at me in the box, right?”
“Hey. Look at me, Marty.” Bowie took him by the shoulders and gave him a gentle shake. “The Lions are good guys. They’re not going to hurt you, but you did just fuck up one of their best friends. What would you do if someone hit me in the face?”
“Come on, man, I’m a terrible fighter. I don’t know how well I’d be able to defend your honor after something like that. It was an accident. Do you think they know it was an accident? Should I go tell them?”
“I know. They know. Loops definitely knows. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re a little cold at first.” He ruffled the rookie’s hair and turned back to the game; the Lions were moving fast and brutal, slicing right through their defense for yet another goal. Shit. Felix clearly felt bad enough already--losing the game wouldn’t make him feel any better.
They ended up losing the game.
Bowie had figured it might happen; he would have had the same fire if it had been his teammate that got clocked like that. Hell, he used to have the same fire when he and Remus had played together, so he completely understood.
That did not change the fact that once they got home, Felix was still borderline inconsolable. The 18-year-old wasn’t technically billeting with them, but the apartment he was renting just so happened to be in the same building, on the same floor, and right across the hall from his and Simon’s. This led to an informal adoption of the rookie and he was around their house at least five times a week, if not more.
Felix Martin was a good kid, and that idea was confirmed when Kronk immediately took a liking to him; the cat loved nobody but the three of them. Bowie was grateful that he and Simon were there to quell some of the homesickness that came from moving out to a new city on his own for the first time. The transition was always tough, but they could provide a little support.
They parted ways from the team when the bus got back from the rink and drove to their building in silence. Once they made their way up the stairs and down the hall, Felix moved to go back to his apartment.
“Nope,” Bowie said immediately, placing a hand on his shoulder and steering him through the door to his and Simon’s place. It wasn’t a good idea for Felix to be alone right now--there was nothing to do alone after a loss aside from beat himself up about it, and Bowie would be damned before he let that happen.
Simon and Kronk were perched on the couch, but they both moved into the kitchen as soon as the door clicked closed. Simon took one look at the pair and carefully wrapped his arms around Felix; the kid practically melted. The three of them stood there for a moment until Simon pulled back a bit and tilted his head toward the living room. Felix nodded and Bowie followed the two, sharing the couch with Simon while the rookie curled up in the large armchair diagonal to them.
He...well, if Bowie was being honest, Felix looked like hell. He chewed his lower lip like an anxious beaver and fiddled with the loose threads of the closest armrest; everything about him screamed discomfort. Bowie caught Simon’s worried glance in his periphery and let out a slow breath, trying to relieve at least a little of the tension in the room.
“You don’t have to relive it if you don’t want to. I saw the game. But if you want to talk about it…” Simon trailed off with a significant look.
Felix sighed and his shoulders caved in a bit. “It was just one of those moments. All of a sudden, I didn’t really have a grasp on what was going on, which feels like shit because I’ve been doing pretty well so far. I dunno. It was just...bad.”
That was it. Bowie knew Felix had seemed a little off. When Felix mentioned he had ADHD at the start of the season during one of their ‘getting to know your neighbor’ chats, Bowie hadn’t thought much of it. But as they grew closer, he began to notice when Felix forgot to eat or drink, or got overwhelmingly excited about something, or when he suddenly spaced out. It wasn’t just Felix being Felix.
The whole team stepped up and became intensely protective, of course. They not only helped him remember meal times, but also scheduling, directions, and everything in between. Bowie felt especially responsible for reasons he didn’t entirely understand--there was just something about the kid’s sweet heart that struck a chord.
He also knew that Felix was highly emotionally intelligent, but had no concept of whether people liked him or not. He was someone who assumed the worst, all the time. So, Bowie decided to do the only thing he knew would work: after a few more beats of uncomfortable silence, he pulled his phone out, tapped a few buttons, and pressed ‘call’.
“Hey, Remus, are you alive?”
An amused snort came from the speaker even as Felix blanched. “Hello to you, too, Bowie. Jeez, you’re worse than Sirius.  I’m one hundred percent alive, just a little swollen. Your rookie’s got a helluva shot, but maybe tell the kid to hit the puck and not my face next time.”
Felix flushed red and put his face between his knees, though hearing the laughter in Remus’s voice and knowing that he was okay clearly took some of the weight off his shoulders. Bowie whooped internally and shot him a quick, reassuring smile.
“Yeah, the kid’s got spirit, but he’s also got ADHD. He’s great most of the time, but sometimes under extreme pressure he can’t figure out where the fuck he--or anything else around him--is. Something about focusing or neurons firing the wrong way, maybe? Either way, it’s why he’s a terrible fuckin’ driver.”
Felix flopped back against the chair with a groan. “How the hell am I supposed to know how far away the cars around me are based on the mirrors? And how am I supposed to park?!”
Remus’s laugh echoed once again. “Don’t ask me, kid, I’m not allowed to drive, either. Not because I’m ADHD, but because I’m terrible at it.”
“You can say that again!” a muffled voice called from behind Remus.
“Please excuse my fiance,” Remus said politely. “He’s a jackass who’s trying to make me lay down again.”
Felix smiled, though it was a bit pained. “I didn’t get a chance to apologize earlier. That stick was totally on me. And--I mean, I heard some of the guys talking afterward and it sounded like you got pretty banged up, so I’m really sorry. Like, really sorry.”
“Hey, woah, you’re fine,” Remus soothed. Bowie recognized his ‘talking to newbies’ voice and hid a smile in the cuff of his hoodie. “It’s the name of the game, after all. Did Bowie ever tell you about the time I accidentally checked him into a wall? Or when I broke his visor with a puck? For context, this was when we were on the same team.”
“Or that time you kicked my legs out from under me and sent me sprawling across the ice during practice.”
“That one was on purpose.”
Bowie glared at the phone, but Felix was snickering and his grin was genuine. It calmed him a bit. “Thanks, Loops.”
“No problem, kiddo.” Remus paused for a moment, then mumbled something inaudible to someone in the background before clearing his throat. “Bowie.”
“Yes?” Remus had never been a wild card, per se, but he certainly had a knack for asking strange questions out of the blue.
“Did you accidentally adopt a child or do my ears deceive me?”
Bowie was about to laugh at the absurdity of it, but then he took a moment to think, looking back and forth between Simon and Felix. “Fuckin’--maybe I did, Re, but he’s ours now. And if that’s the case, I’m going to formally request that you tell your fiance to quit being mean to my son.”
Remus laughed on the other end of the line. “Will do. Felix seems like a sweetheart, I’m glad he’s got you two.”
Bowie nodded with a slight smile, even though Remus couldn’t see him. “So are we. I can practically sense Sirius hovering, so go let your boyfriend fuss over you for a little while.”
An offended noise came from Remus’s side, followed by a lower laugh and the click of the call ending.
Simon looked Felix dead in the eyes. “I’m seconding the ‘kid’ thing. You may just barely be a legal adult, but it doesn’t mean we can’t adopt you. Congrats on your new gay dads.”
Felix’s bright laugh sent a wave of relief through Bowie. “You guys are only, like, eight years older than me.”
“Silence, spawn,” Simon said, pointing a playful finger at him as his grin widened into something sweet and lopsided. “Now both of you need to come eat something. I made cookies while you were getting pushed around for a living.”
Bowie was still worried about Remus’ face--he made a mental note to call the next day to check in--but all his concerns disappeared as Felix scooped the cat up for a snuggle and followed Simon into the kitchen. They may have lost the game, but he would lose a million Cups to keep that moment forever: his Simon fussing over them both, his cat purring in pure bliss, and his kid settling into place at last.

Nightmare paradise; Doctor Strange x daughter reader
*Author’s note*
Now I know this may not be my best work but I have been DYING to make a Doctor Strange daughter fic since like FOREVER!! A lone solo without any real relationship patterns in tact (mostly Peter Parker WHICH I DON’T DISAGREE WITH AT ALL. I’m just saying I hardly see any other fics that just revolve SOLELY on Stephen strange and a daughter reader. THAT’S IT.) So in the end THIS is what ended up being born.
Also I LEAVE FACVE CASTING OF NIGHTMARE UP TO YOU GUYS!! I personally imagined Troy Baker’s voice for Nightmare but you guys can picture WHOMEVER you wish to be the character for Nightmare. Also this fic is LOOSELY based off of WandaVision but DON’T WORRY NO SPOILERS OF THE SERIES IS GIVEN. I just took a plot point from the series and had it work for the Doctor Strange universe. Enjoy my first Maevel fic in FOREVER dearies :)
Warnings: Swearing, the BLIP mentioned and described, Thanos mentioned (yeah he’s a warning), some battle sequences, blood (if you’re squeamish).

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring off.  I groaned and reached out to try and shut it off but no matter how many times I was slamming my hand on my desk, my alarm was still blaring.  Finally I got out from under my covers and unplugged my clock and saw just how bright it was outside.  I let out a groan and collapsed back to my pillows.
“Why do I have to be woken up so early?” I groaned tiredly before heaving myself upward and out of my bed.  I walked towards my jointed bathroom and took my morning shower. After that I got changed and went downstairs to eat my breakfast.
I lifted my hand and soon a pop-tart came into my hand and I unwrapped the tinfoil and took out one of the two pop-tarts.
“It somehow amuses me to see you use your mystic arts to bring you your breakfast when you could just get it yourself.” That deep familiar baritone voice spoke out to me.
“Coming from the guy who just last month used his powers to wash his car when he was teaching me the form of astral projection.” I sassed back at him.
“That was for the purpose of multitasking.”
“That’s not a real thing.”
“What are you talking about of course it is.”
“Is not.”
“Is too.”
“Is not.”
“Is too times infinity times infinity there I win!” I chuckled and teasingly poked my tongue out at him.
“When did you get sassier than me, dad?”
“More like you inherited your sass from me. But no one can out sass me.” He said as he playfully booped my nose.
“Yeah but never forget dad,” I then took his arm and kicked his leg in before tossing him over my shoulder to finally pin him down. “I’m the more clever fighter out of the two of us.” He hummed questioningly.
“You sure about that?” suddenly I was levitated in the air and constricted in a familiar red velvet cloth.  I looked down to see the cloak of levitation had my arms pinned to my sides and was levitating me just a few inches off the ground.
“You cheat!”
“The Sorcerer Supreme never cheats.”
“But my father does.”
“You know you better choose your next sentence very carefully.” My dad threatened with that growl-like tone to his voice, but the twinkle of mischief and playful smirk on his face told me that this wasn’t a real threat.
“Or what? Parlor magician.” Next thing I knew the cloak of levitation had lifted part of it’s material up and it started messing up my hair. Not only getting it tangled up but making sure it gave my hair a static charge to it.
I exclaimed as I pleaded it to stop before it was too late, but soon enough my hair resembled a porcupine with it’s quills standing up. My dad laughed as the cloak finally released me and I fixed my hair.
“Very funny dad.”
“Oh I think it’s very funny.” He said through his deep baritone chuckle.  I tried to adjust my hair but some strands still remained on end.  “Here, let me help.” He then licked his fingers and I exclaimed.
“Eww gross you know I hate that!”
“Well it’s either this or we wet your hair again and you don’t have time to argue because you’re already 10 minutes late for class.”
“WHAT!?” I looked at the grandfather clock and saw that it was already 7:50am. “Shit!”
“Ah-ah-ah-ah language!” my dad scolded me.  I growled lowly and said.
“Okay fine just fix it hurry!” he soon made my hairbrush appear and he gently re-brushed my hair to it’s normal way.  Any crazy strand that was out of place, my dad would lick his fingers and tame it down by stroking it down to the rest of my hair.
“There you go, back to your normal gorgeous hair.” I then quickly opened up a portal to my school but before I left the cloak once again grabbed my arm preventing me from leaving.
“What now?”
“You know the rules, come on. No matter how old you get you never leave the house without giving your old man a kiss.” I looked up at him then stood up on my tip toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“I’m going to be late.”
“You’re always late.” The cloak finally freed me and I hopped through the portal and gave one last wave to my dad before closing the portal back up.  As the last warning bell rang, I quickly raced through the back entrance of the school and raced to my first class.
The day went on as normal.  First block Advance Science, second block, PE, followed by half of third block being English and then lunch at 12:15pm and that’s where I was right now. We had about a half hour for lunch before continuing the second half of 3rd block since that’s how second lunches go.
See my school has this strange set up based on whatever class you have for your 3rd block depends on your lunch schedule.  If you had an elective class (choir, drama, band, orchestra, art), a foreign language, or science class you had 1st lunch at around 10:30am (so that means you eat lunch before you would go to your 3rd block class).
Second lunches (like me) follow under English and Math have the first half dedicated to class, then lunch then we continue our class. And then 3rd lunches are for the people who eat lunch after their 3rd block classes, they’d eat then go straight to their last class of the day (history, PE/driver’s ED, health, home economics).
I was sitting with some of my friends when I heard a voice call out to me.
“Hey (Y/n)!” I turned and saw my group of friends.  I walked over to our table and that’s when one of my friends Courtney said.
“Yo (n/n) what be up?”
“Nothing much, just trying to get by in Mr. Gordon’s class.”
“I still can’t believe you somehow managed to pass his class when a friend of mine is struggling so bad. And he’s never done bad in the advance classes.” Said another friend of mine, Bobi said.
“I think it comes from having a neurosurgeon as a father. Well former neurosurgeon.” I said recalling the accident.  Of course I never told my friends that my dad eventually became a superhero that could bend time and reality to his will all thanks to his training he did with the former Sorceress Supreme.
“Well no worries (n/n), I’m sure your dad will get back on his feet soon.” My friend Jay said.
“Yeah, he is a strong man.”
“Then how come he got bleeped away like the rest of the world did?” said Kira.  I looked up at my ginger haired friend in shock.
“What did you just say?”
“I said then how come when my dad gets the shit knocked out of him, he just bitches about it?” I looked at her confused for a second and that’s when Kelsey answered.
“Just be thankful your dad at least tries to work. All my dad does is drinks and sleep.” I patted her shoulder comfortingly as I continued eating my pizza.
When school was over, my friends and I went down to the bowling alley since it was Friday.  We reserved our usual lanes and got into our teams.  I was up next to bowl for my team, I took hold of my red bowl, lined myself up and took a deep breath in then exhaled out.
‘(Y/n)! (Y/n)!’ my dad’s voice soon screamed in my head.  His tone sounded urgent and—worried? What was going on?
“Yo (Y/n) you alright?” Mikaela came up to me placing her hand on my shoulder.
“Yeah. Yeah sorry.” She gave me a comforting squeeze on my shoulder.
“It’s okay, just make the shot otherwise we’ll lose and you are our best striker.” She went back to her seat and took a sip of her diet coke. My team was cheering me on, I took another deep breath but just as I took my run and let the ball go, my head suddenly felt like it was splitting open.
The ball went straight down the gutter and I was soon met with all these flashes.  I saw my dad, Tony Stark, Peter Parker, and these—other people including myself on what looked like a deserted wasteland of rubble.
There was this giant purple being that we were all fighting, a flash of green and then I saw my dad turn to dust.  When my vision came back I could hear my team groaning and my other friends who had their team cheering.
“WHAT THE FUCK (Y/N)!!!” Danielle exclaimed.
“Gurl you never. Miss. A. shot!” Mikaela snapped at me.
“What the fuck was that (Y/n)?!” Jay yelled.
“Ehhh thanks (y/n). Now you guys have to pay for the meal.” Courtney said as she snapped her fingers in victory.
And I don’t know how or why it happened but suddenly I was back holding the ball in my hands, staring down the pins and my team was cheering for me.  How did I get back here? Why was I back here? I felt myself step forward a few times and release the ball and soon I got a perfect strike.
My team cheered as the pins were cleared and a new set was placed down in front of me.
“Alright (n/n)! One more strike and we win!” my ball soon came back onto the ramp and I picked it up, stepped forward and released the ball and low and behold another strike! My team cheered while the other team groaned in defeat.
“Oh yasss Queen!” Chris exclaimed.
“Alright Courtney, pay up you’re buying the pizza now!”
“Damn you (y/n).” Courtney sneered at me as she took out her wallet and left the payment for all our pizzas and a tip for our waiter.
After that it was already getting dark outside and when I looked at my watch I had seen that it was now 10:30pm.
“Well guys I gotta get going.” I told them.
“Yeah I promised my mom that we’d go shopping for my sister’s wedding next month.” Mikaela said.
“Yeah and I gotta get up and ready for work by 8am. See yah guys.” Courtney said and soon all my friends and I went our separate ways.  I went into an alleyway to open up a portal to get me back home when I heard a sudden crash behind me.
“Hello?” I cried out.  Nothing but silence replied back to me. “Who-who’s there?” another crash was heard just head of me but I didn’t see anything.
The quick fluttering sounds of a cape or cloak whisked past behind me and when I quickly turned around I thought I could see the cloak of levitation, but it was so dark and so fast I couldn’t tell for sure.
I quickly made my portal and jumped through it and immediately closed it before finally starting to hyperventilate.  My knees turned to jelly as I collapsed to the ground trying to control my breathing.
“(Y/n)? What’s wrong sweetheart are you okay?” I looked up and saw my dad kneeling down beside me.
“I—I’m fine.”
“No. You’re not. Come on let’s get you up to your room and settled in your bed.” He picked me up, holding me like how he always used to hold me when I was little and carried me back to my room.
I was now in my sleep pants and an old nightshirt.  My dad made a tall glass of milk appear by my bedside and he said as he brushed a strand of hair out of my face.
“Now, you wanna talk about why I found you hyperventilating at the bottom of the stairs?” I took a sip of my milk and said.
“It’s just…..I don’t know. Something weird happened today.”
“Like what?”
“Well there was something that Kira said to me. She—” but for some reason what I was about to say slipped my mind.
“She was going to say what?”
“She……she said……I-I can’t remember. I had it but now it’s….it’s gone.”
“Okay, what else happened? I know it couldn’t be just because of what she said.”
“Yeah, yeah then there was this sense of……déjà vu. Like when I was bowling I……” but again like before, when I was about to speak about—the thing it slipped my mind once again.  At this point my dad was looking at me like I was mad. “I…..I can’t remember the déjà vu thing either. Daddy, am……am I going mad?” he pressed his hand against my forehead.
“I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers.” He said gravely. “But I’ll tell you a little secret. All the best people are.” He said with a grin. I looked at him with my bitch face which made him chuckle.
“Must you always quote Alice in Wonderland to me?”
“It’s your favorite movie and book of all time. You remember how you’d always beg me to read it to you as a little girl?”
“One look with my puppy dog eyes and you succumbed every time.” He pressed his forehead against mine as his nose gently rubbed against mine as he chuckled that deep baritone chuckle of his.  The type that always made me feel safe.
“How about this, tomorrow we just take a day for ourselves. Just the two of us. We don’t even need to leave the house.”
“Sounds like a good idea.”
“Great, love you sweetheart.” He leaned in and kissed my temple before leaving my room and shutting the door behind him.  I downed the rest of the milk and suddenly felt sleepy. I collapsed onto my pillow and like a lightbulb I fell right asleep.
But throughout the night I kept tossing and turning as I was hearing not only my dad’s voice but Wong’s voice too.  They were both frantic with worry as they kept calling out to me.
When I opened my eyes I found myself back at that wasteland and I saw myself fighting against the giant purple alien.  I was holding the sacred sword of Vishanti.  I saw myself leap into the air and swing the sword downward but the alien caught it with his bare hands.  The two of us struggled with our strengths until he grabbed me by my white tunic and threw me like a ragdoll.
My dad soon came in with the bolts of balthakk which broke apart the ground around the purple giant but his gauntlet glowed a bright purple and shit a blast towards my dad.  But my dad summoned a portion of the mirror dimension and used it as a shield to protect himself before sending it towards the giant.
While the giant was distracted I then suddenly came flying over my dad and sent the Crimson bands of Cyttorak to bind him while my dad multiplied himself using the images of Ikkon.  He surrounded himself around the purple giant and each image created their own binding bands which shot down towards the giant purple creep.
But he used the gauntlet again and soon my dad’s image went back to just himself and my hold on him was also severed.  He used the gauntlet to bring my dad closer to him but I couldn’t hear what he was telling my dad.
What I did see was him taking the eye of Agamotto and crush it into his palm before throwing my dad aside knocking him out.  I then heard myself scream out towards me dad and saw the rage in my own eyes.
I saw myself let out a battle cry as I leapt into action. This time using hand to hand combat using the sword as well as creating my own shields to block his attacks.  Wow I was a rageful monster with whoever this guy was.  But—why is this so familiar to me? I know this couldn’t be just a dream, it’s like—a memory? A vision maybe?
All I know was that I saw myself getting weaker with each kick and punch I tried to throw.  That was until I saw myself getting stabbed in my side.  The purple giant then said.
“I respect you young witch. But now you’re starting to become a nuisance.” I then watched as he took out the sword from my side and I saw myself collapse onto the ground bleeding heavily.
I found myself gasping as I woke up and looked around to see myself still in my bedroom.  I turned to the clock and saw that it was 1:45am.  I quickly raced downstairs, in the total pitch black of my house not knowing what I was doing.
“And just where do you think you’re going little miss?” my dad’s voice soon said.  He turned around in a chair as he turned on the light beside him.
“I-I was only…….”
“You weren’t planning on sneaking out were you? You know my rule. No venturing out after midnight.”
“No dad I-I-I wasn’t.” he stood up and placed a hand on my shoulder.  However I felt his nail sink onto my skin piercing through my shirt painfully.  I bit my bottom lip trying to keep in a scream or even a sound of pain.
“You know how it makes me feel whenever you disobey your father. You wouldn’t want to make father angry, do you?”
“N-no.” I whimpered out.
“That’s my girl.” Suddenly my dad was shot with a bolt of balthakk.  I ducked down holding my shoulder and saw a small amount of blood actually on my fingertips.
“She’s not your girl, she’s mine!” I turned around and saw Wong and my dad?! Wait what was going on here? Why were there two of them? My dad was in his full Sorcerer Supreme outfit as the cloak of levitation had him hovering over a few inches off the ground.
My dad who had been shot across the room growled out as he stood back up.
“Impossible. You were gone! I’d seen it for myself!” he hissed. My other dad smirked and said.
“14,000,605 possibilities I had seen and only one victory. That possibility has already come to pass. Now I’ll only tell you this once,” he clapped his fists together and soon his shields came over his hands and he warned my dad. “Let. My daughter go less you face the wrath of the Master of the Mystic Arts.”
“(Y/n) you need to come with us now before it’s too late.” Wong told me.
“I—I don’t understand……how?”
“Sweetheart listen to me, I’m your real father. Just come stand behind Wong and I and we’ll get you out of here.”
“Don’t listen to him (Y/n). I’m your real father. Who would know what your favorite lullaby was?”
“(Y/n) I know he may seem like me but he’s not. It’s Nightmare. He’s kept you trapped in the Dream Dimension for 3 years.”
What? Then suddenly behind me a giant green and black blast of magic shot up in the air.  As my dad’s body soon began to morph into another male’s body, wearing a familiar green and black attire, his hair growing wild and madded like a lion’s mane, his nails growing sharper and blacker like claws, his teeth turning to fangs and his eyes.  Those once warm blueish-green eyes that once held warmth now turned a frightening and haunting yellow with a black pupil at its center.
Suddenly it all came back to me.  When Thanos had snapped half of the population away, it gave Nightmare the advantage and power boast he needed to try and escape the Dream dimension and enter our own.
So three years ago I along with some other Sorcerers (those that were left) went to the Dream Dimension to stop him from invading Earth.  But due to everyone’s fear and guilt of losing their loved ones and what the world had come to, Nightmare was almost too powerful to stop.  He had killed one sorcerer who was still in her training and another one he had driven mad with fear.
In order to spare the others as well as the rest of the Earth, I volunteered myself as penance.  I told Nightmare that he could have me if he spared everyone on Earth. He agreed and sent the rest of the sorcerers I had brought with me back to Earth leaving me under his control.  I guess he had me relive a normal life with my dad where it was mainly us, no Thanos, no other Avengers, just me and him.
A haunting laughter was heard as Nightmare spoke with his true voice.
“Right you are Doctor. However you’re only partially correct this time around.” He walked right up to me and placed his hands on my shoulders gripping them once again. “Your daughter came to me by her own freewill.”
“That’s a lie! My daughter would never surrender herself to the likes of you!” Nightmare turned to me and disappeared into black smoke before reappearing behind me.
“Do you want to tell him? Or shall I?” he said as I felt one of his claw-like nails nick across my neck.  I hissed in pain and felt a small amount of blood dripping down.  His finger brushed across the cut and I could see him lick the blood off his finger from my peripheral vision.
“I’m sorry dad.”
“(Y/n)…….why?” before I could say anything Nightmare simply shushed me which in turn silenced me.  I tried to speak but not even a peep came out of me.  Nightmare had taken my voice.
“Seems she had more common sense than you did. The daughter of the Sorcerer Supreme is a precious treasure to uphold.” I felt him stroke down my hair, the very same way my dad would always do it to me.
“This is your last warning Nightmare, let her go or else.”
“Or else what? In case you hadn’t noticed I’m the one in control here. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been before. And you’re in my dimension which gives me the homefield advantage!”
“Yeah, but there’s one thing you still haven’t let go of. Your constant need to brag.” My dad said with a grin.  Nightmare looked at my father confused which gave me the chance to free myself from his grip and I binded him with the Crimson bands of Cyttorak. Wong soon joined in and pushed a wall from the mirror dimension right towards Nightmare sending him out of the room.
My dad raced up towards me and the two of us embraced each other.  I felt his left hand press against my temple while his right touched the base of my throat. I felt this warmth come over me and I said to him.
“I’m sorry dad.”
“Apologize later. Right now let’s get you out of here. You’ve been in here long enough.” He took my hand and we quickly made a run for it.
The normal streets of New York melted away and I finally saw the Dream dimension for what it really was.  A dark black shadow surrounded the sky with haunting eyes staring at you and fanged mouths snarling or taunting you with your worst fears and guilt.  Doors were also scattered everywhere, each one leading to somewhere you didn’t want to be or even get lost in.
And at the bottom of the trail we ran along at, an endless, empty abyss.  One trip or a slip, then it’s a never ending fall throughout the Dream dimension.   Wong let out a few shield platforms for us to hop across.
“Come on! The door we came through won’t be in the same spot for long.” He was the first to hop onto the first platform but then just before dad and I could even take the first leap, a python suddenly shot out from the floor and took hold of my calf.
“(Y/n)!” my dad exclaimed.  I was being dragged towards the edge of the trail.  I tried my best to scratch myself back towards my dad but the python continued to drag me towards the edge till I was finally dangling over the abyss.
My dad summoned the sword of Vishanti and threw it straight into the python’s eye which forced it to let me go as it recoiled back in pain before disappearing into a puff of black smoke.  Dad quickly brought me back onto solid ground and we both saw my leg was heavily bleeding.
“Never did I think I could hate snakes even more than I usually do.” I groaned out a joke.
“Just be thankful he didn’t conjure up a venomous one. Try to stop the bleeding.” The cloak of levitation came off my dad’s shoulders and wrapped itself around my leg, tightening itself up to stop the bleeding.
“You and Wong need to get out of here. You guys can come back with help.”
“I’m not gonna leave you here again that’s not happening!”
“Dad I can’t walk! And without the cloak you can’t fly.”
“We’ll think of something.”
‘I’m afraid there won’t be any time for you three, or should I say you two.’ That’s when we noticed that Wong had suddenly gone missing.
“Wong? Wong!” my dad called out.
‘Face it Strange, you’re in my dimension now. And thanks to your daughter’s powers I’ve grown more powerful than ever before!’ My dad picked me up bridal style and proceeded to run.
Somehow we managed to find somewhere to hide.  One of many doors that simply looked like a dark cave. My dad sat me down and that’s when the cloak unwrapped itself from my leg and my dad began to heal my leg as quickly as he could.
“Dad…..if—if we don’t make it out of here…..”
“We’re gonna make it out.”
“Dad please I—I need to say this, after five long years please just let me speak my mind.” He looked at me worriedly but gave me a nod. “If we don’t make it out of here alive, I—just want you to know that…..I’m proud to call you my father. I know we had a—rocky start especially when I became a teenager but—after the accident I thought I had lost you forever. And then when—Thanos blipped you away. I’d come so close to losing you again without telling you how I’ve felt about you. I love you daddy. I really, really do love you.” He pressed his hand against my cheek and said.
“I love you too (Y/n). I love you so, so much. I know I haven’t been Dad of the year to you, but……I thought it was because I wasn’t ready to be a dad. I thought I would screw up and have you end up broken. But I am proud to call you my daughter, my little white witch.” I smiled at him sadly.
‘How sentimental.’ Nightmare’s voice echoed through the darkness.  My dad pulled me close to his chest, his arms wrapped around me protectively, same thing with the cloak as it felt the red velvet material wrap it’s two edges around me.
“So what now Nightmare? Now that I’ve broken free of your spell you going to kill me?” I heard his haunting chuckle as he said.
“No of course not. He is.” Suddenly my dad was struck with one of Nightmare’s controlling spells.  It hit him right in his eyes and I saw the black and green magic aura surround my dad, trying to manipulate him.
“No! Dad! Dad no please fight it!” I pleaded as my dad was groaning and writhing on the floor.  He held his hands to his head as he exclaimed in pain. “Daddy no please, you’re stronger than him. You’re clever than him, you’re Doctor Stephen Strange!”
“Hate to break it to you sweetheart, but daddy’s no longer home.” Nightmare soon appeared as the cave light up by a single firepit just a few feet away from us.  Nightmare stood on top of a ledge of sorts and that’s when I heard the snarl of an animal next to me.
When I looked down that’s when I saw my dad had now shifted into a Nightmare.  Teeth like a wolf’s bared at me, gleaming like the full moon, his eyes now a haunting gold like a tiger’s eye but his pupils were slitted like a snake’s, claws like meat hooks, a whip-like tail that almost looked like a dragon’s tail and bat wings soon sprouted from his back as he stared me down snarling.
I backed up before hobbling away from him but my dad charged after me.  That’s when the cloak of levitation came to protect me as it wrapped itself around my father’s face trying to smother him.
“You know maybe I should’ve made you deal with this the past three years. Your biggest fear is your beloved father turned against you.” I fell to the ground due to my injury and backed away up against the rocky wall.  All the while I watched in horror as my dad actually began ripping the cloak apart before staring directly as me once again.
“Release him at once Nightmare! This wasn’t a part of our deal!” I snapped as I looked up to where he was standing above me.
“Contracts can be edited sweetheart. So long as I bind you to my will it doesn’t matter what you see. Unless by my word that I release you from your contract, you are stuck here for eternity.” I heard a snarl and when I looked forward, my dad was just inches away from my face.
His canine teeth gleaming right at me as he kept licking his fangs.  He truly was a monster now, there was not a single trace of my dad anymore in this beast.
“No daddy.” He stalked closer and closer inch by inch till I could feel his hot breath panting right in my face.
“Sweet dreams love.” Nightmare gave me one last taunt using my dad’s real voice.
Then quicker than lightning the beast that was once my father actually lunged for my neck and I felt his canines pierce my skin and I let out a blood curdling scream.
“Blech! Blood, blood, blood! And—death!” I said as my dad released my neck grinning at my over dramatic death scene.  I then collapsed to the ground and played dead with my tongue out and everything.
“Alright now you’re just milking it.” My dad spoke with a slightly more gravel to his normal voice (kinda reminded me of Smaug from the Hobbit films). “Besides, I think we’ve got him. Thank you Nightmare you’ve been a great costar.” Dad said as he helped me stand up.
“What?” oh the confusion on Nightmare’s face was priceless.
“Oh did you think you actually affected me with your Nightmare magic? Well spells can be contained by other spells, and your attack is trapped in the mirror dimension.”
“And I’ve been working on some other forms of magic like shapeshifting thanks to some Norse spell books.” I explained to him gesturing to my dad.
“My girl is a clever one. Cheeky at times too.” Dad said as he ruffled my hair.  Nightmare growled and said to me.
“But you forget one thing, you’re still under my control (Y/n) Strange. So says my law.”
“Yeah about that.” I then pulled out a small tape recorder from my pocket, rewind it and played the part that I needed and soon Nightmare’s voice said.
‘I release you from your contract.’
“Now by your own law, I am no longer tied to the Dream Dimension, or your control.” Nightmare’s face dropped from pride to utter defeat.
“No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no!”
“Oh yes. It’s called a hustle bitch. Mic drop!” Soon a portal came behind dad and I and we both jumped through it sending us back to the New York Sanctum.  The last thing we heard was Nightmare’s defeated tantrums.
Wong immediately closed the portal behind us and I dropped the spell from my dad turning him back to his normal self.
“You know he’ll try to return.” Wong told us.
“Yeah and now it seems I’m a bigger threat to him than you are dad.” I said.
“Well no matter what happens, we’ll be there to make sure he doesn’t try to return to Earth. Whatever it takes.”
Later that night as I was browsing through my phone, a knock was heard at my door.
“It’s open.” My dad soon came in and he said.
“How are you feeling?”
“After finally getting some real food in my system, and finally getting to use the Internet again. I’d say I’m doing better.”
“You know you didn’t have to be the one to do it. Wong was willing to hold Nightmare off.”
“I know, but the Time stone did show you that I needed to be the one to do it. Plus a poor, helpless, defenseless little girl willing to sacrifice herself for her friends. Nightmare could never resist such a scenario.”
“But to be tortured by him for three years? I’m surprised your psyche hasn’t been damaged.” He said as he sat down beside me.
“Well truthfully it wasn’t any different than what we’re doing right now. I was basically living a normal life with you, still using our powers but it was all before Thanos ever came into the picture. It almost felt like a sitcom at times.”
“Interesting.” Dad pondered.
“In all seriousness though dad, I’m fine. Mentally and physically. Well most of me anyways.” I said raising my newly bandaged leg. “But that’ll heal in the next few days thanks to Wong’s herbal remedies.”
“Well it’s getting late, so your head goes right there.” He said pointing to my pillow.
“Nah think I’ll just stay up all night. I mean I have been asleep technically for 3 years.”
“Fine, but don’t come whining to me when I come in here at first light for your morning training.”
“Please dad. You hate mornings even more than I do. Even when you were a neurosurgeon you hated your morning shifts.” He chuckled and gave me a kiss on top of my head.
“You really are my daughter.”
“And damn proud of it.”
“Goodnight (Y/n).”
“Night dad. Glad to have you back.” He winked at me before leaving my room.  I laid back against my pillow and sighed heavily continuing to go through the web and looking at my old social media accounts that I hadn’t used in awhile and seeing just what some of my old friends were up to. “You may have created the perfect paradise for me Nightmare, but I wouldn’t trade my reality for anything else.” I spoke out loud knowing that Nightmare could be potentially listening in.

[ateez] S A N ➱ baby daddy au
Tumblr media
YOU HAVE TO RAISE HIS SON AFTER HE LEAVES. MAFIA SAN.
warnings: teen pregnancy
a/n: sorry ya’ll I accidentally posted this on my main lol - @atinybitofau
• raising a son on your own was hard.
• raising a son whose genes were on par to his notorious father was even harder—
• a hooligan. a mischievous troublemaker.
• an eyesore in morality.
• and yes, your son was just like him.
• cold. ruthless. blood thirsty.
• but unlike San, your son loved you enough never to leave you.
• appreciated the things you did for him enough to stay.
• “Eomma..”
• you turn on your side when your son interrupts your slumber,
• injuries blatant on his tethered arm.
• raising a child who’s now 13 since you were 16 never easy.
• “Where were you, Ari?”
• he sits at the edge of your bed and leans for the warmth only a mother could give. “I was trying to get your medicine.. but I ended up causing a scene and the store owner kicked me out.”
• you sigh letting him lay down beside you. “It’s just a little cold. You don’t need to go and risk your life to save mine.”
• he wants to ask you.
• he’s old enough..
• why hasn’t his father came back to be the one the take care of you?
• to take care of him.
• why do you have to suffer alone?
• “Ari, just do me a favor and take care of yourself the way you do for me.” you cuddle into your sons warmth too. “That’s all I need.”
• but you’re lying.
• you’re getting sicker.
• and he can’t take it anymore.
• he goes to lower than the low to find something to save you, his mother.
• eventually ending up tied up in San’s gang house.
• brutally beat for intervening a drug heist—
• “Alright you little shit,” San holds your son up by the collar, blood running down his face mixed with his tears. “I don’t care that you’re 13 years old. Hell you could’ve been 10 and I’ll still beat the living crap out of you. No one just comes barging into a drug heist for no reason. That’s not just a coincidence.”
• it is.
• it really is.
• and maybe god was just giving him a sign.
• because you were on the verge of dying—
• and his own son being dealt his life and in the hands of his own father,
• yet San still didn’t know what was going on.
• what sign god was trying to give him.
• “I have to admit.” San runs a finger down his son’s chiseled jaw and smirks. “You’ve got a nice face. But in a couple minutes, you might not even be able to recognize it anymore.”
• “I-I-I was just trying to get medicine for my mom! I swear.”
• San really needed to get a clue.
• not all drugs were recreational.
• and some—
• some can actually save lives not just make dirty money.
• “You think I’ll believe that sissy crap?”
• Ari shudders looking to his torn up jeans. “H-her pictures in my wallet. I swear, she’s the only thing I’ll do anything illegal for. I promise I wasn’t trying to fuck anything up. She’d kill me if I got involved. Kill herself if I pushed myself too far.”
• he’s convinced at the desperation in the poor kid’s voice.
• normally not as merciful but he digs through the kid’s pocket for the picture anyway.
• and he should be glad he did because shit—
• the picture of you made him go from 100 to 0 real quick.
• “Y/n?”
• “T-that’s her! That’s my mom.”
• San glances up at the beat up kid, horrified.
• horrified at the sight.
• that he was basically beating to death a walking replica of himself.
• an age far enough that fit the time he left you.
• “You’re telling me my high school sweetheart..” San’s bloody fingers curl around your picture. “The woman you’ve been trying to steal medication for is your mom? The woman in this picture.”
• he’s at first in denial.
• that the kid he almost beat to death was your son.
• but denial hits him even harder the chances he could also be the father.
• “M-my mom is everything to me.” Ari bawls his last tears out begging for his own father to spare his life. or anything to save yours. “She’s only got me. I’ve only got her. S-sir please. At least save her. If you wanna kill me sir, please save my mom first.”
• his jaw clenches,
• still knealt down on one knee propped in front of his pleading son.
• studying every feature of his face.
• how on par everything was to his own.
• San was beating up his son, he realized.
• holy shit he was about to kill his own son.
• “Why didn’t she tell me?”
• “W-what?” his son chokes. “What do you mean?”
• “Fucking hell— kid, I think I’m your dad.”
• the five days that your son was held captive was long enough for your body to grow cold and weaker.
• laying in a hospital bed nearly blacked out.
• your son cries over your body as you sleep.
• hoping he’s not too late.
• not too late to give you the one thing that might be able to keep you alive.
• a husband?
• finally a father to your child.
• “You’re the husband?” the doctor finds San watching from the doorway awkwardly glancing at the black dressed men who towered behind him. “You’ve got quite the entourage there, sir. But not even an army of soldiers would be able to save your wife right now. She’s hanging on a thin line. Barely holding on. That woman needs a miracle if she wants to live the next good years of her life.”
• San watches as his son that he never knew about cries over you.
• wishes you would’ve told him..
• he would’ve stayed.
• would’ve loved you.
• why were you always so selfish? always wanting to do things that pushed you too far even if there were another option available.
• “Eomma.”
• you hear everything.
• your son.
• San.
• “Ma, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get the medicine. I got into trouble again, ma. I’m sorry.” Ari folds his hand over your limp one’s. “B-but I have something even better. Someone who could help you and me. He can take care of us, ma.”
• it hurts.
• you want to wake up for your son because he deserves the world.
• he deserves a fight for the both of you but the option you chose came short.
• in the past, the option of never telling San in the first place of his own son.
• “Ma.. he’s gonna talk to you okay? I’m gonna let him talk to you.” Ari sniffles and suddenly your hand gets replaced with a different warmth. “He’s gonna tell you it’s gonna be okay. I love you, eomma. I love you. We’re gonna be okay.”
• it’s almost enough.
• your heart beats a little faster.
• burns a little more so you could breathe on your own.
• it’s definitely working.
• “You shoulda told me, bubba.”
• the nickname San had given you years ago,
• a nickname you thought you’d never hear again, rings in your ear and that light so far away,
• it gets further.
• “You shoulda told me about him. About you.” he lifts your hand against his trembling lips. “13 years? 13 years after I tell you to take care of yourself and now you’re almost dying. Come on now. My girl was a fighter. Pushed herself harder than she wanted to.”
• his voice is like a mantra—
• a dream that gives you a little bit more of life you we’re starting to lose.
• “Bubba, you were the love of my life. And I didn’t tell you enough how much I appreciated you. I know it may be too late and if god forbid I do lose you, I will make sure our baby stays safe okay?”
• you think if you were awake right now you’d be crying.
• as if a weight lifted off your shoulders.
• cause the one person who could save you right now—you and your son,
• was right here.
• ready to go merciless to keep you two safe.
• “I left loving you. And I’ll come back loving you. 13 years only kept us apart. But let me tell you, y/n, it never stopped me from loving you.”
• he’s unsure when he lets go of your hand.
• usually gets what he wants with one word—
• cause he’s a notorious mobster.
• but let’s just say you were the one thing he wanted he could’ve never gotten even with two words.
• 3?
• “I love you.” he continues. “And if I’m gonna have to love our son the way I should’ve loved you then so be it.”
• but life’s not like movies where you wake up right during a miracle.
• this miracle takes time.
• and after an EXPENSIVE deal of money and medicine to keep you alive,
• a year it takes for you to finally open your eyes.
• to a nice hospital bed room.
• filled with flowers and the reminiscent scent of old spice and San.
• your hair’s a bit longer.
• the sun’s definitely brighter.
• but not as bright as the smile you see once you turn to the side.
• “Good morning beautiful.” San reaches his forehead against yours. “How were your dreams?”
• you choke on a decent reply. “S-San?”
• “The one and only.”
• “Where’s— Where’s Ari? Where’s my—“
• “Our?” San chuckles softly. “You mean our son.”
• you kind of remember.
• it takes a while to remember the voices and the dreams in your head.
• how waking up to find them real was surreal on its own.
• “He’s at school, bubba.” San cradles your face in the palm of his hand staring at you like he was hypnotized. “I’ll have someone pick him up. Tell him mommy’s awake.”
• “San..” you shake your head in his hand. “How is this real?”
• “Our son might be a miracle worker. Brought us together the way we made him. Brought me so I could keep you alive.”
• cheesy as you remember.
• although this handsome and older version of your old flame you aren’t too sure.
• “So you just show up while I’m in a coma and play daddy while I sleep?” you hoarsely chuckle while he smiles against your lips. “Even after 13 years, you won’t grudge against me for not telling you?”
• “I can’t blame you for trying to save yourselves.” he admits with his lips still on yours. “I wasn’t good enough for you. I know still I’m not. But I’m gonna try this time. Even if I have to pretend I’m not who I am sometimes.”
• you two are interrupted by a crying teenager.
• one you remembered resembled San.
• but now them standing right next to each other,
• looking like two carbon copies and a surreal dream in your head.
• maybe you are dead...
• “Ma!” he shoves his father away abruptly. “Look ma! I brought dad! He helped pay your debt, pays for my school. Even finished the hospital bills.”
• you glare at your always boisterous ex boyfriend and long lost father to your son.
• “You did what?”
• “Did I mention this was my way of getting back at you for not telling me about my 14 year old son?”
• “San how the hell am I gonna pay you back?”
• you just woke up.
• and the doctor runs in ready to sedate to keep you stable for at least more than 24 hours.
• but the way San looks at you is enough.
• him being there like your life long medication itself.
• holding your hand while your son holds your other one proposing,
• “Marry me. And we can call it even.”

Party Favors P.P
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: When trying to convince Peter to go to a party with you, a few secrets are revealed about a certain web-slinger’s crush, with your dad hanging onto every word. Total fluff here, guys!
Using the prompt: “come on, I can’t go to the party alone!”
Warnings: Nothing terrible, a swear word or two, I think. Just a lot of Flustered!Peter….. Oh, and Liz Allen being a prominent wing woman. Some suggestiveness as well. Sprinkles of angst but ends in fluff
Posted: April 30, 2021
Word Count: 3.2k
Here is my Masterlist in case you wanna read some more work of mine. Also, my requests are open :)
Tumblr media
“Pleaseee”, you pleaded, begging your best friend, “pretty please?” Peter Parker, the neighbour hood’s protector, Spiderman, an Avenger and your best friend stood in the middle of the room, arms crossed while he indignantly shook his head.
“Nope. Now way Y/N”
“C’mon, Pete. Just one time? Please, please, please?”
Peter sighed, raising his chocolate brown eyes to meet your Y/E/C eyes. “Is it necessary? Like life and death?”
“Yes! It is! Well, it saves lives and prevents death. And I need your help with this.”
Peter pursed his lips, looking a whole lot like a family member of yours you recently spoke to. “What’s in it for me?”
“Well, for starters, payback… Like the time I had to tell the press that ‘intern’ Peter Parker was doing a brilliant job working for my dad.”
“Yeah, I guess. But could you blame me? Y/N Stark saying to the world that I do a great job working as an intern was a sure way to make Flash shut up.”
“Ah, I get it. You’re just using me for my name!” you said, clasping a hand to your chest, faking hurt. Pretending to wipe off a tear, you whispered sorrowfully, “Another one bites the dust…”
“Uh-huh. And we are sure the amazing Y/N Stark didn’t have fun winding up Flash the next day at school when you strolled in and gave me an Intern Of The Month award in front of him?”
You laughed, remembering the moment fondly. “That was one of your better plans…”
Then you snapped out of your memories, smiling slightly. “Nuh-uh. You don’t get to make me reminisce about cute stories and get out of this deal. It’s happening.”, you said, gesturing to the two of you.
Peter groaned, falling back on your chair. “Dang it. I thought that would distract you for a while. But seriously? Do you want me to get killed?”
You rolled your eyes playfully, walking over to him. “Nobody is going to kill you! The party is at Liz’s house, and you’re Spiderman! Nobody can kill you.” For some reason, Peter face flushed pink when you mentioned Liz’s name.
But then he retorted. “Well, I’m not worried about our classmates. Or my enemies. I’m worried about… Mr Stark.” Peter said this almost worriedly, looking around, eyes locking onto his suit, which he grabbed, throwing it up into his attic.
Doubling over in laughter at his expression, you shakily walked over to your bed, jumping on it. “Why- why would you be afraid of my dad?!”
“Well, he specifically said you aren’t allowed to go to parties, but you want me to go with you to one of the biggest parties of the year.”
“Okay, well… that’s the reason you are coming with me. My dad said, and I quote. If one, just one, smart person attends that party, then you are allowed to go. And that’s where you come in. You are the ‘smart person!”
Peter chuckled, scratching the back of his neck, obviously relieved. “Uh, I don’t think that’s what he meant.”
“Oh, I know. But we are Starks. We never mean what we say.”, you say, backhandedly. “So, are you in?”
“Y/N, you know I love you, but…”
“Peter. I’m so sorry I have to do this, but… I’m going to have to use the best friend card.”
Peter gasped, looking at you in shock. “No, you didn’t.”
“Well, come on, I can’t go to the party alone!” you exclaim, jumping on the bed.
“Why can’t you go alone?”
“Why don’t you like parties?” you shoot back, turning to look at him, admiring the small clusters of freckles that adorn his face.
“I-I like parties. Just not Liz Allen’s parties.”
“Oh really?” you say, propping yourself up on your elbows, “that’s not what I heard when you and Ned went to her party in Freshmen year.”
“That… was different.”
Smiling victoriously, you let out a giggle. “Sure it wassss” He turned bright red again, turning away from you. You felt a pang in your heart, wondering why he was acting strange. “Wait, Peter, do you still like her?” You asked this, feeling your stomach sink down.
He flipped around so quickly; you. were sure he could’ve broken something. “No, NO, not at all.”
You squinted, trying to figure out what was wrong, but gave it up, vowing to figure it out later. “Alright, so will you come with me to the party?”
Peter looked at me, breaking into a grin. “Of course, I shall accompany you to the party, m’lady.”
“Well, thank you so much, my good man.”, you said in a horrible British accent. He smiled at me, his eyes crinkling as he glowed in the evening light. And as the two of you laughed, falling back into the bed, you wondered if you should tell Peter that you liked him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soon, the day of the party arrived, and you honestly couldn’t wait for it. You bought a short dark blue dress, pairing it with some golden accessories and a pair of sneakers. Slipping them on, you headed into the driveway, making sure no one was around before activating your suit, flying off the ground and to Peter’s house. As you arrived, you knocked on the door, shifting from side to side, worried if you had worn too much for a casual party, but you were pleasantly surprised to see Peter dressed up nicely, dark blue jeans and a white shirt, a comfy sweater hanging off his shoulders.
“Woah,” Peter said, looking at you with adoration in his eyes, “you look amazing Y/N!”
You blushed, looking down. “Thanks, Pete, you look great as well.” Peter became red at your comment, not saying anything but holding his arm out to you instead. Looping your elbow through his, you went down to the car where May was going to take you to Liz’s house.
Arriving there, the music was blaring loud, the clinks of glass bottles in the air, while about 50 students and friends stood around the vast house, chatting and drinking.
“Hey guys!” Liz greeted, smiling warmly at us. “Come on in. We have drinks and snacks at the pool, DJ in the living room and a game of truth or dare upstairs.”
“Let’s do truth or dare”, you said, looking at Peter to see if it was alright. He nodded, letting Liz lead the way. Walking upstairs, we came into a guest bedroom, where about ten, eople were sitting in a circle, looking totally wasted.
“Is there alcohol?”, you asked, worried.
Liz laughed. “No no, they just all gotta act drunk. Gave them the dare.”
“Ah alright.” Peter said, glancing at me. Going over, you sat down, seated between Flash and Peter.
“Heyy Penis Parker. Hey there Stark.” He said, spitting out Peter’s fun nickname, but said yours flirtatiously. Almost glaring at him, you muttered back.
“Hello, Flash. What horrible thing are you doing on this evening?”
“Oh, nothing much. Just wondering why you walked in with Penis Parker here and not someone who can actually handle you. And your wealth and fame.”
Scoffing, you turn towards Peter, whose face is almost red with fury. You could see him clenching his fists, which he rarely does. You knew he was minutes away from punching Flash, but you didn’t want to make a whole scene, so you did something you never would have thought to do.
You grabbed Peter’s hand and kissed the back of it, leaning into him. You felt him tense behind you, breathing heavily. “Well Flash, who else would I come with if not the guy I have a crush on? Only seems fair rather than someone who makes a fool out of your best friend.”
Flash’s eyes went wide, looking between Peter and you, but then he cackled. Yeah, you said cackled. It’s what it sounds like. He doubled over, hitting his knee. “No way. I love this. Y/N Stark making Peter Parker, an intern of her multi-billion dollar father, and pretending to date him! There is no way in hell Penis Parker could get someone like you.” Flash said this maliciously, glaring at Peter.
You felt Peter lose his crip on you, taking in a sharp intake of air. “He’s right”, Peter whispered softly into your ear, his voice shaky and choked.
“Peter no!”, but it was too late. He stood up, walking out of the room at lightning speed. You glared at Flash but didn’t wait around, instead of running to find Peter. You ran to the stairs, where you saw him ask MJ where Liz was. Confused why he might want to talk to Liz, you walked down the stairs, staying out of his sights for the moment. You followed him as he walked into Liz’s room, leaving the door ajar. Tiptoeing to stand outside the room, you leaned against the wall, trying to make out what Peter was saying to Liz.
Peter’s POV
I ran down the stairs, quickly asking MJ where Liz was. I could hear someone’s heartbeat loud and clear, but I just assumed that it was my own. Ugh, I hate Flash. But it’s not like he was wrong. Y/N wouldn’t ever like me. She was just being a good friend by sticking up for me to a guy I should’ve beaten up long ago. I could feel my teeth grit together as I walked to Liz’s bedroom, knocking.
“Hey Peter, what’s wrong?”
I wiped my eyes on the back of my hand. Explaining to her what happened, she sat me down on the bed, rubbing my back. I could see the fury in her eyes when I told her about Flash.
“I have half a mind to go out and kick him out of my house.”
“It’s fine. But how do I tell her?”
Liz thought for a moment, and then lowered her voice down a bit, quickly glancing over to the door. Scruching my eyebrows, I wondered why she was now whispering but went along with it.
“Why don’t you pretend I’m Y/N. Tell her how you feel. Trust me, she will say yes.”
“Uh okay”, I said, not having too much of a problem, since I had this infront of the mirror dozens of times. “Hey-y. I just wanted to tell you something. I really really like you!”
“Louder”, Liz said, looking at me then at the door.
“Um, I really like you. Well, not just like. I literally love you. I love the way that you are sweet and charming, but also hard and firm. You look like a goddess, whether you are working out or going out in the city. Whenever you come over next to me, my senses go crazy because I am just so in love with you. I know you probably don’t think of me this way, but I had to get it off my chest.”
I finished rambling, when I saw Liz’s wide eyes. “Why? Was that too much?” I was worried, standing up quick.
Liz saw my expression, shaking her head hard. “No no, you’re good. But you gotta come with me right now. I-um know a way to get you and Y/N to like each other by the end of today”
Grabbing my hand, she pulled me up, pulling me quickly through the crowd, into a small closet at the end of the hall. “Okay, wait here”, she said, running off. I stood there, bouncing from side to side, wondering what Liz was doing. But I got my answer quite quickly when she ran back, basically pulling Y/N. “Come here!”, she said, pushing her to me.
“Okay, guys. I hope you two don’t hate me but this has to be done”, was all Liz said before she threw open the door behind us, pushing us both in with shocking strength and closing us in darkness. I reached to open the door but found it locked.
Y/N’s POV
Peter looked at the door, then glanced back at me. “It’s locked”, he said simply, scratching his neck, something he did when he was nervous.
“No shit sherlock. But did you forget, you are Spiderman? Just break it.”
He shook his head, mumbling something about not wanting to break Liz’s stuff. You rolled your eyes, sighing. You rummaged through your pocket, finding a small hairpin. Pushing him aside, you jammed it in, nudging it around until you heard a little click.
“There, it’s now open”, you said sarcastically, leaning back.
“Woah, I’ve never seen you do that!”
“Yeah, well, I don’t usually break open locks, do I?”
Peter picked up on your attitude, leaning back as well, sitting on the floor, making me look at him expectantly.
“Why don’t you just go back to your girlfriend?” you said bitterly, turning away from Peter. He scrunched his eyebrows, confused.
“What girlfriend?” he asked, trying to make space in the small closet.
“Liz. I heard you telling her how much you loved her earlier. An entire freaking speech if I remember correctly.”
He looked confused until his eyes lit up in recognition. “Wait-you thought, what- me and Liz, huh?”
“Yeah, aren’t you and Liz together? Or did she turn you down?”
Peter chuckled, eyes softening as he looked at me. “I don’t love Liz. I don’t even like her. What you heard earlier was Liz helping me out. Practising if you might.”
“Who was Liz pretending to be?”, you asked, disappointed.
“Well, she is smart, kind, badass and absolutely ethereal. She has such a strong spirit and is great at bringing people up. I have loved her for three years. Which, ironically, is how much time we have been best friends. By the way, her dad’s also Tony Stark”, Peter says this, coming closer to you, one hand coming up to hold your cheek gingerly. Searching in your eyes for confirmation, he leaned closer slowly, giving you enough time if you wanted to move away, but you didn’t, instead of moving up the last few inches and making your lips collide with his.
Time stopped as you pressed your lips together, hand finding its way to his curls, roughly holding on to them, while Peter held your waist, not wanting to let you go. You could’ve kissed Peter forever, but the need for oxygen became too much.
Pulling away from Peter, you rested your forehead on his, smiling contently. “I love you”, Peter whispered, cupping your face lightly, holding you at arm’s length.
Giving a small laugh at his nervousness, you kissed him softly, feeling him relax against you. “I love you too, Peter Parker.”
Peter grinned back at me with his signature smile, but the moment ended when we heard a loud bang from outside. “What the hell?” you exclaimed, running to the door; Peter following your footsteps. You could see Peter from the corner of your eye pull his shirt back slightly, revealing a pair of web-shooters he had underneath. Pushing a hand inside your pocket, you could feel the silver ring you carried with you. Slipping it on, you held your thumb over it, waiting for the moment to activate your suit. But when you and Peter burst outside, hands up to fight, you saw your dad, pacing the area, right now talking to a very scared looking Flash.
“Where is my daughter? You have one minute until I blast you off the face of this planet. And trust me when I say it, because bitch please, I’ve been to space.”
Covering your mouth with your hand to stifle your laughter, you walked closer, coming up behind your dad. “I think I might know where your daughter is”, you say in a solemn voice.
Tony whirled around quickly, looking you up and down. Pulling me into a hug for a second, he let go as soon as he did, holding you at arm’s length. “Why the heck are you at this party?!” he asked firmly.
“Well, dear father, you did say that at least one smart person had to be at this party, and that’s why,” you moved out of your dad’s grip, pushing Peter forward, “he is here.”
Peter came forward awkwardly, waving at Tony. “Hey, Mr Stark. How are you and Ms Potts?”
Tony nodded at Peter, clasping his hand on his shoulder. “We’re fine, Underoos. How are you and my daughter? You didn’t try anything with her, did you?”
Peter spluttered, mumbling at your dad. “N-n,o of course not Mr Stark. I-I respect and lo-love your daughter very much. We just kissed for a bit- and I mean, it felt terrific- wait, that’s not why I’m with her. I’m not wi-with her for her beauty. I mean-she i-is beautiful, but I don’t want that. Wait-uh-”
Giggling at what Peter was saying, you threaded your fingers through his own, squeezing them to give him some strength and to tell him to shut up before he said anything else. Tony sighed, giving an ‘I’m too old for this shit’ face.
“Okay, thank you for telling me about your love life, kiddo, but I’d rather not hear it. Both of you, meet me in the car. We can stay at the compound today, and I’ll tell Happy to text May.”
Tony turned around, walking to the car, while you and Peter stood there in shock. “Do you think he’ll let us sleep in the same room?” you asked Peter, nudging him playfully.
“NO”, your dad shouted from across the street, turning to look back at Peter, doing the ‘I’m watching you’ sign. Peter visibly gulped from beside you, making you chuckle.
“Hey! Peter, Y/N!” Liz called out, running from inside the house. “I saw your dad. Are you heading home?”
Nodding defeatedly, you confirmed it. She smiled lightly before telling us to wait here, running back in. In a minute, she ran back out, a small bag in each hand. “Here, a small return gift.”
“Aw, thanks, Liz!” Peter said, smiling at her.
She smirked. “You’ll like it even better when you find out what I put in yours, Peter. For a fact, both of you can use it.” She winked at us, making me worried.
“Wait, you what did you-”
“Face masks. Get your mind out of the gutter Y/N”, Liz said, laughing. Peter scoffed from beside me, laughing as well.
“Anyway, gotta go, Liz. See you at school.” Hugging the girl goodbye, you and Peter made your way to the car.
“That was nice of Liz”, Peter commented, looking up at the stars.
“Yeah, but I got my party favour”, you said simply, putting your hand in Peter’s, pulling him down to give him one sweet kiss under the night sky.
“HEY HEY HEY, NO KISSING INFRONT OF ME!” Tony yelled from the car.
“Wait, how did Mr Stark know we're together?”
“YOUR SUIT OBVIOUSLY!”, Tony yelled, getting the car upfront.
Peter groaned, banging his head against the window. “I knew it!”

Where It Leads (Rafe Cameron)
Summer IV
Part 07: Crashing Down
series masterlist | previous part
summary: A jarring family emergency forces you to consider the future of your relationship with Rafe Cameron.
a/n: I'm a little bit emotional about this series ending because I've had so much fun writing it! Enjoy the last part and, as always, please come share your reactions with me in my inbox. Okay, that's all from me!
word count: 2.1k words
Tumblr media
Rafe Cameron knew how to text. He was somehow witty, charming, and hilarious all in less characters than a single tweet. Texting with most boys was like talking to a brick wall: single-syllable answers, unironic uses of punctuation, asking “What are you wearing?” before even listening to how your day went. Though, to be fair, Rafe had asked that same question a few times, which always earned him a sarcastic answer in return. Well, except for that one time.
You’d been forced to spill the beans about your dreamy summer romance to Alice and Kensie after one of Rafe’s funnier texts almost made you pee yourself laughing at the lunch table.
“Oh, so he’s a stud muffin,” Alice announced, peering over Kenzie’s shoulder at the photo on your phone.
“Please god don’t call anyone a stud muffin ever again Al,” Kenzie replied.
“What? The 80s are like making a comeback.”
“Yeah, not that,” you countered and Alice huffed.
“He’s totally hot though,” Kenzie said, handing the phone back to you. “And I kinda hate you for not telling us about him.”
You looked down at the picture. Rafe was kissing your check while you grinned up at the camera, the golden hour lighting made the whole thing look rather enchanting. It was your favorite picture of you and him.
“Oh shit,” Kenzie said causing you to look up from the phone. “You’re like in love in love with him.”
“What? No,” you protested. Yes, your brain corrected.
Kenzie glanced over at Alice for backup.
“Besides, I wasn’t hiding him. I just didn’t know if there was anything there to...tell,” you finished.
“I wish I had a handsome summer fling with spectacular cheekbones,” Alice sighed.
“Don’t let your boyfriend hear you saying that.” Kenzie chucked a fry off her tray at Alice who dodged it expertly.
“Oh, please. Matty knows I would dump his ass for someone who looks like a young Chuck Bass any day of the week. Gimme your phone. I wanna see the photos again y/n.”
“I seriously don’t know how you and Matthew have been together for two years,” Kenzie replied.
“Are you kidding? They’re practically made for each other,” you added.
“The phone, please,” Alice interjected. “I wanna thirst over your mans while my boyfriend is sucking up to his English teacher so she doesn’t fail him. Of course, I told him he needed to actually read Wuthering Heights and not just sparknotes it. But did he listen? No. I picked a real winner y’all,” she finished, taking the phone from your outstretched hands. “You sure Rafe doesn’t have any brothers? Not even like a half-step brother?”
So yeah, going great. Against the odds of three thousand miles, the whole thing was somehow working. Long-distance friends with benefits? Check. Well, except for those moments when that nagging feeling in your stomach came back and you’d start overthinking everything. His texts would sit, unread in your phone for days or even a whole week, slowly sinking to the bottom of your messages.
Then came the call from the Kildare Country Hospital in the early hours of a foggy April morning. You should have gone to sleep hours ago but were still up, desperately trying to cram Maria’s lines into your brain while also texting Rafe. The Sound of Music opened in three weeks and your director had already chewed you out twice for not being off-book, something about being an upperclassman and the lead, and what kind of an example were you setting for the rest of the program. Big speeches were kind of your director's thing, you learned to just ride them out.
Around 1 a.m. your phone ran with an incoming FaceTime call from Rafe. You pressed the green acccept button, a smile spread across your face as Rafe’s own filled the screen.
“Hey Broadway Star.”
“Hi Rafe.” The dim lighting of his bedroom made his feature especially striking. “What are you still doing up?”
“Can’t sleep. Plus you’re up too so. How’s the memorizing going?”
“Shitty,” you replied, closing your binder with a sigh. “I’m too tired to do anymore of it tonight anyway.”
“You know, I was thinking I could come to Oregon for your opening night?”
“Really?” The possibility of Rafe sitting in the audience made your heart race.
“Yeah, why not? I’ll ask Ward if I can borrow the plane that weekend and I bet Sarah’ll want to come too. I wanna see my girl kill it. I miss you.”
“I miss you too, Rafe. You know my friends think you’re hot.”
“Oh, do they?” Rafe replied, rolling over onto his back in his bed.
“Don’t let it get to your head, Cameron.”
The home phone ran but you ignored it, much more invested in your conversation with Rafe. The second time the hospital left a message. Your Nonna’s heart had given out. The prognosis wasn’t good. She had barely any time left.
Your heart dropped as the words echoed over the speaker of the answering machine.
“Rafe,” you said, cutting him off momentarily. “I gotta go. I’ll call you back later. I gotta-” you ended the call before Rafe even had the chance to respond. You dropped your phone on the kitchen table, dashing up the stairs to your parents’ bedroom. Your father was booking a flight for your mother back to the Outer Banks minutes later.
The end had come so quickly, so unexpectedly. It was almost like that made it harder. There'd been just enough time for your mom and uncle to get to the Outer Banks, sitting on each side of your Nonna as her final breaths passed through her lungs. Now, everyone was there to say goodbye one last time. Uncle Austin and his fiancé. Your mom and dad. Both your siblings. The entire population of Figure Eight.
☼☼☼
Rain drizzled down from the dark, gray clouds looming overhead. It was as if Mother Nature was mourning your Nonna too, hiding the sunshine away.
Three baby ducks followed their mama into the man-made pond at the edge of the cemetery. You watched their tiny feet kick up small waves disturbing the peaceful water and the tears silently slipped down your face.
The cars were waiting to take you back to your Nonna's house for the wake. The same house with the for-sale sign now stuck in the front yard. The for-sale sign with Rose's patronizing grin that you were starting to really hate. Your dad had handled that. Listing the house. He'd handled most of the funeral arrangement's actually because your mother had been too sunken into her grief to make any decision. Sending out the invitations, picking out your Nonna's casket, choosing the flowers. Your mother clung to him during the entire funeral, weeping into his shoulder.
“Y/n?” Rafe's voice called out from behind you and you turned to see him walked toward you. He’d stood at the back of the church with his family during the funeral. You had longed for him to be sitting in the first pew next to you, to have had his hand to hold onto to ground you, but it hardly would have been appropriate. Your Nonna would have sooner risen from the dead than have had a Cameron front row at her funeral.
As soon as he was close enough, Rafe reached for you, pulling your body tight into him. Your head landed on his chest and the sobs came moments later. God, he always smelled the same. He just let you cry, holding you close, smoothing his hand over your hair.
“I know you’re selling your grandma’s house but I was thinking you could stay with me for the summer," he said as your tears began to slow. It was hard to imagine that you wouldn't return to the Outer Banks once school let out. It was the first week of May already and you could feel the tourist-attracting town waking up. But selling the house just made more sense. Your older sister was already living her life in New York, a real adult life. Next summer, you'd be moving out too, headed to college. The house would sit empty for eight months out of the year, your family couldn't keep it and your uncle certainly didn’t want it. Selling it just had to happen.
You stepped back, slipping out of his embrace. “I don’t think that’s a good idea, Rafe.”
“Why not?”
“Cause we’re like Romeo and Juliet.”
“I copied Cleo’s notes for that unit," he joked, trying to lighten to damp mood. “Plus I was never a fan of Leo DiCaprio so I didn’t finish the movie either.”
“It means we’re not supposed to be together, you and me. And whenever we try, the universe rips us apart. We hurt each other.”
Rafe shifted awkwardly on his feet, clearly wanting to reach for you again but stopping himself from doing it. “But I can't lose you.”
You reached your hand out, brushing away a strand of hair that had fallen in front of his eyes. “Oh Rafe, don’t you get it? You never really had me.” You stood up onto your tiptoes to kiss him just like you had the first time three years ago. Rafe barely parted his lips, kissing you back gently. Your hand cupped his face, your thump stroking over his cheek. It was a goodbye. Both of you knew it. It was an ending and this was your closure. You pulled away, your hand falling away from his face.
You couldn’t bring yourself to say the actual words. Your eyes fell to the ground. You needed to walk away now. You side-stepped Rafe but he grabbed your waist, turning you back around to face him.
“So that’s it? You’re not even gonna try to fight for us?”
“What even is there to fight for, Rafe? I’ve been fighting for us for the past four years. If we were supposed to be together that car wouldn’t have crashed into ours, I wouldn’t have fallen for Evan when I did, we wouldn’t be having this conversation at my Nonna’s funeral. What? Are we supposed to do long distance for all of college? I hardly know who I am right now. I have no idea who I’ll be in the next four years. Our future selves might not even like each other. I’m not gonna wait around for you Rafe and I would never ask you to do that for me.” You twirled the small, star charm between your fingers, a nervous habit you'd developed over the past year. His eyes dropped down to your neck momentarily and his adam's apple visibly bobbing as he swallowed his next weeks.
“You were it for me, you know. I tried to give a fuck about anyone else but I couldn’t get your gorgeous, stupid face out of my mind. I only wanted you.” Rafe paused gauging your reaction “I was falling in love with you.”
Your eyes wandered over his stoic expression. “The feeling was mutual, Rafe Cameron.”
He dropped your wrist but you both stood, not moving or saying anything. “Do you wanna walk me back to the car?”
“Yeah.” He reached for your hand, interlocking your fingers. Your other hand held onto his bicep so you walked together through the graveyard back to the parking lot.
The moment felt precious and delicate, like the fragile china your Nonna used to collect. You wondered what would happen to all that china.
Rafe placed a chaste kiss on your lips before opening the door of the car.
“I’ll miss you,” you said, the words hanging in the air meaning so much.
“Me too,” Rafe agreed.
You wanted one more kiss, one more passionate declaration of how much this all had meant but that would make leaving Rafe so much more impossible.
You climbed into the car, dropping Rafe’s hand in the process.
“See you around Cameron.” You knew it wouldn’t happen but it felt better than a goodbye.
He smiled back. “Maybe so.”
Perhaps Rafe was right and you’d both end up at a small liberal arts college in California taking the same second-year Econ class with a professor who always smelled like weed. Perhaps the stars would align and two of you would realize the universe wasn’t trying to keep you apart. It was just waiting for the right moment to show you that the love you had for each other was the soulmates, forever and ever kind of love. Perhaps you would get married and Sarah would be your maid of honor, of course. You’d buy back your Nonna’s house to raise your troubling-making kids in. Perhaps, you would find your way back and wake up each day and choose each other again and again.
Or perhaps, he'd always be your right-person-wrong-time. And, in the end, the passing days will steal away your memories of the blue-eyed boy from the Outer Banks.

Saeran
You observed your husband playing with your son as you gently rubbed your belly, carrying Saeran’s twin daughters.
You never imagined back then that this day would ever come or that you would feel so much happiness.
This was love, you thought.
Your son accidentally kicked the ball over to your feet, making them both approach you.
,,Isn’t it hot in the sun, Mc?’’ Saeran asked, concerned as he looked up into the clear blue sky. There wasn’t even a single cloud present.
You nodded. ,,You’re right, I’ll wait inside for the both of you,’’ you smiled as you tried to get up, however, Saeran quickly helped you.
The both of you were proud that you chose to buy a house in front of the park where cars drove a bit slower than in the city.
The nature around your home made the atmosphere so beautiful. You were happy that you were able to show your son the beauty of the world.
,,No, Mummy, why do you want to go home?’’ your son whined as he looked at you.
You smiled at him as you ruffled his hair. ,,Mummy is tired and besides, it’s too hot for your sisters!’’ you laughed.
,,Okay! Then I will go with mommy and make her feel fresh with some cold tea!’’ he laughed and took your hand.
You had such a sweet son and you were so happy that you and Saeran seemingly didn’t make any mistakes in your parenting.
Well, maybe you did make a mistake - your son still couldn’t cross the street. He always forgot to look both ways before crossing.
And this time too, Saeran was walking hand in hand with you towards the street to approach your home. You guys just had to cross the street when your son’s ball fell out of his arms, making his one favorite ball roll into the street.
,,Oh no! My ball!’’ he whined as he jumped and ran, speeding on the street.
It all happened so quickly - as you let go of Saeran’s hand to run, at least as much as you could towards him, your sunshine.
Your scream was so loud that Saeran twitched. ,,THE STREET!’’ you cried, but your son simply didn’t look both ways.
The honk made your son stop in the middle of the street as you heard a hit. In front of your eyes, you saw your son falling with blood everywhere.
,,NOO!’’ you screamed louder as the car stopped immediately. Saran approached your son quickly and ever since then, your mind was fuzzy. You couldn’t remember how you got to the hospital, how you cried, or how helpless you were.
You just came back to yourself when your son called your name, his arm and leg was broken, his head was hurting, and the boy was whimpering in fear.
,,I’m here, baby. I won’t let go of you. Tell mommy what you need,’’ you whispered, still relieved that your son had an angel who prevented his death.
Jihyun
Lucy was between the both of you as you walked to the coffee shop where you planned on buying a cake for Lucy as she received a good mark on her test today.
The weather was beautiful, the birds were singing, and your little girl next to you was laughing happily.
,,I am so proud of you! That’s our daughter!’’ you praised her again, making her smile even wider.
Jihyun also told her more than once that he was proud and that he never had such a good mark in math.
,,Really, Daddy?’’ she asked him. She couldn’t believe what her dad was telling her, making you chuckle.
,,Okay, let’s take a picture before we go in,’’ he said, holding his camera up, ready to take a picture.
You nodded and went on your knees, hugging Lucy as you both smiled brightly.
,,Oh, look how good it looks!’’ he told you.
Both you and Lucy approached Jihyun, looking into the camera.
Lucy was behind the both of you as she turned around, seeing a big beautiful balloon shop.
Not being able to stop herself, she gasped as she walked towards it, not noticing that she was in the middle of the street.
,,Lucy, let’s go in. What cake do you want?’’ you asked her. When you turned around, a horrifying scenario played in front of you.
,,JIHYUN!’’ you hissed and grabbed his shoulder as you saw her on the street.
,,LUCY!’’ he called too, trying to run towards her to stop her.
But he was too late.
Before he could even pull her back, a car ran into her, making her fly and fall on the floor a bit further away from the both of you.
The squeaking sound of the brakes was so loud that you had the feeling that no one could eat with your high pitched scream in panic.
Everything and everyone stopped as you ran towards her. The woman who just hit her with the car was already on the phone, crying and talking to a hospital who was sending an ambulance to the site of the accident.
,,Lucy, Lucy… you can’t leave mommy…’’ you sobbed as you put your jacket over her pale body to not make her feel any cold.
You didn’t dare to move her head, scared that you would hurt her even more.
,,She is strong. They will be able to help her, don’t worry,’’ Jihyun said as you kept on sobbing on his chest.
,,What if they take her away from us? I’m such a bad mother. I should have…. oh my God I’m okay if they take her away from us as long as she stays alive,’’ you sobbed, fearing you might lose her in whatever way it may be.
Jihyun could just rub your back as he tried to stay strong for you.
,,She’s alive. She will have a big headache as soon as she wakes up because of the trauma, but she will be able to keep on living without any damage. Just let her rest here for the next few days and then we can send her home.
For the night, the both of you can stay here,’’ the doctor said.
,,I will log into the chatroom to keep them updated,’’ Jihyun said, meaning the RFA.
Of course they all went crazy when they found out and it didn’t take even five minutes until Lucy got transferred to the VIP Room due to Jumin’s connections in the hospital.
You were a big family now, after all, and everyone was willing to support the both of you as good as possible.
There was no way that they could even try to take Lucy away from the both of you because you were still the best parents for her, your daughter.
Vanderwood
It all began to be a beautiful day, so how did this day manage to become a living nightmare for the both of you?
Days passed as you and Vanderwood sat in silence next to each other.
The room was cold, the atmosphere was killing the both of you, and your tears no longer stopped falling as you saw your son.
The machine was keeping him alive.
The tubes around him made him seem dead, even though he was still alive. At least that was what the doctors were telling you.
Vanderwood kept holding your hand as he now observed you, worried for your well being.
He knew that at night you couldn’t sleep anymore.
He knew that even when you managed to close an eye, you were whining and crying in your sleep.
Your skin too was pale as the room and your lips were dry.
You didn’t eat anything, you were barely drinking, and he almost had the feeling that he forgot your voice.
A week ago, your son happily gave you a kiss as he walked to school.
You and Vanderwood sat around the table, having breakfast, when suddenly someone called you.
It wasn’t even 10 AM when the hospital told you that your son was hit by a bus at the bus station.
He and his friends were playing when he was accidentally pushed on the street, a bus coming right at that moment, hitting him.
,,He has fallen into a coma,’’ they told you as you cut the call and looked at Vanderwood with a teary face.
Ever since then, you kept thinking about your life: how you raised him and how you lived with him.
,,I wish I would have walked with him to school,’’ you suddenly whispered. Vanderwood’s heart stopped beating for a second as he heard your words for the first time in a week.
,,I wish I would have let him sleepover at his friend’s house.
I should have bought him the latest PlayStation and I shouldn’t have scolded him a week ago.
I… I regret so many things… What if he dies now? He’s still so young…’’ you sobbed louder.
,,We agreed on not raising such a brat who gets everything. We didn’t want a spoiled boy,’’ Vanderwood tried to calm you down.
However, he managed to make you angry ,,Well, yes, because a dead child is better than a spoiled one, right?!’’ you hissed at him, your face red as you were angry.
,,You know that that’s not what I meant!’’ he hissed.
Suddenly, the both of you found yourself arguing and hissing at each other, but the both of you quickly stopped when a little voice called you.
,,Mommy…’’ your son gagged as the tube was into his mouth, the mask making it impossible for him to say anything.
,,CALL THE NURSE!’’ you hissed and jumped up, approaching your son and stroking his head as you looked at him with a pained face.
,,Everything is okay, everything will be fine. Mommy and Daddy are here. The nurse will be here too, don’t worry,’’ you kept on telling him as your son kept panicking, a sight that broke your heart.
Indeed, the nurse, followed by countless doctors, entered the room.
Vanderwood pulled you apart from the bed as they checked him.
,,He is awake and he is alive…’’ you whispered and hugged Vanderwood, a warmth he hadn’t felt since that all happened.
,,We can send him home the day after tomorrow,’’ the doctor began, telling you what treatment was needed for your son.
But the good news was that he didn’t have anything life threatening and that he could soon live normally again.

Late night panic attacks
Liam Dunbar x Reader
Summary: Your brother begins to avoid you and you are left all alone. You are hurt and want anything to feel okay. In an attempt and out of anger you run out into the woods with no means of communication. And you are in danger.
You are y/n Stilinski. Your older brother was obviously Stiles. You were pretty similar. Thing is he seemed to be avoiding you. A lot.
It bothered you. You had tried talking to Scott but he told you not to worry about it. That it wasn't anything to worry about.
You called Allison but she didn't answer and neither did Lydia. You were sick of being ignored. You even called your dad. All he said is he was busy with work. That's why you're here. Sitting on your bed crying into your pillow.
In a last ditch effort you decided you'd try Liam. Bzzzzz! Bzzzzz! Bzzzzz!
"Hello?"
"Liam! Hey." You were glad he answered.
"Y/n? Hey! Um this is sorta a bad time. Can I call you back?" You were slightly surprised but it's Liam.
"O-oh. Of course! I'll talk to you later then?" You stammered a little.
" Sounds great. Alright. Talk to you later." You hung up.
You then decided to try Stiles. He wasn't home and neither was anyone else. You were a little paranoid.
Bzz- the person you are trying to reach is unava- you hung up.
He sent you straight to voicemail. You threw your phone across the room. You were sick of being alone. Decidedly you grabbed your f/c hoodie/jacket and stormed down the stairs and out of the house. Little did you know your phone was ringing off the hook. And there was no one to answer.
"Damn it!" Stiles yelled slamming his fist into the steering wheel.
Scott and Liam watched in shock as the usually cool headed and sarcastic Stiles freaked out. He was calling you over and over. They had all realized you may be a target and that you were all alone. Alone. That's all Stiles could think.
You, little sister were all alone and he left you vulnerable. You had no idea about the supernatural world. You didn't know you could be in danger. You didn't know your brother was calling you. And Stiles didn't know that you were not only all alone but also all alone in the woods. Stiles pushed on the gas and sped towards his house.
You were pretty deep into the woods by now. It was colder then you gave it credit for so you pulled your hoodie/jacket closer around you. To be honest with yourself the cold felt nice. Calming. You looked up and the moon shown down on you. Your only source of light considering you accidentally left your phone at home.
You looked ahead again. You continued walking but soon stopped as you heard rustling. A squirrel? Or maybe a rabbit? You thought. Hoping it wasn't a person who wanted you dead, you continued. You were almost to the clear, crisp river when something pounced on you. You flipped around to see the culprit. It wasn't anyone you knew. They growled at you as if they were a wolf or something.
They had long hair on their face and sharp fangs and claws. You screamed terrified. You fought against the thing on top of you. His claws dug into you arms as he straddled you. You continued to struggle. Looking for anything to attack the attacker. You saw a rock not to far. Running on adrenaline you pushed the asshole off and grabbed the rock bashing it on his head. You quickly turned to run when he grabbed you and threw you into a tree.
You heard your bones crack. You screamed. Loud. All of your breath left you as you nearly blacked out. You whimpered begging for someone to save you. For this creep to go away or to end your suffering. Then it happened. You felt your throat tighten and lungs shrink.
"Help."
* * *
Stiles, Scott, and Liam had looked through the whole house. They had found your phone and keys, but no you. They all walked outside confused. Scott listened carefully. Listening for anything. It was silent for a while. That was until he heard a terrified scream. He and Liam both looked at each other and ran. Fast. They ran towards your scream. Stiles followed terrified of what they might find. Sprinting through the trees they followed every sound that sounded like you. Even your soft whimpers.
You panted out of breath.
"S-stop! Don't come n-near m-me!" You tried to breathe but it was getting harder and harder.
You knew why. A panic attack. You tried to sit up. Tried to calm down. The person only grew closer and closer until he picked you up choking you against the tree.
"L-let me GO!" You kicked and screamed.
Pain covered your back and ribs. Your lungs burning for air. Soon everything was fading out.
"Y/n!!"
Someone yelled. Someone familiar. You felt yourself falling to the ground gasping for air. Grasping for anything to hold. Soon someone was holding you. Gripping you gently.
"Y/n c'mon! Look at me. Focus on me!" You looked up still panicked.
Liam sat in front of you. You stared into his icy blue orbs. Stared at his lips. Pulled on his arms. Anything you could. Nothing worked though. Nothing was working. Soon you'd black out, not from getting strangled, but rather a panic attack.
Liam noticed you were slowly losing consciousness. He had to do something. Fast. He quickly pulled your face towards his and kissed you. You were shocked but kissed back. You slowly felt yourself calm down and melt into his embrace. Stiles quickly ran over to the two of you when he finally caught up. His little sister was in Liam's arms. You seemed content there. He quickly checked you over for any major injuries or blood. He found nothing he could see, but he had a feeling you had a couple broken ribs and a concussion. Scott had taken care of the werewolf that attacked you. Liam picked you up as you couldn't get up yourself and they all headed toward the Jeep to take you to miss McCall.
You woke up with an IV and your middle wrapped in many, many wraps. You also had a glass of water and some pain killers next to you. You quickly took them and then searched the room for your phone. Once you found it you called Stiles. Bzz-
"Y/n!?" Stiles had quickly picked up.
He didn't care if he was in class.
" S-stiles! W-where are y-you?" You hiccupped.
You needed your brother. Now. You cried and sniffled over the phone.
" Oh y/n I'll be there soon! I love you." He quickly hung up and ran out of class, but not before he grabbed Liam and dragged him to the Jeep. Scott obviously following. They all arrived at the hospital you immediately grabbing onto Stiles. Liam watched you and smiled. Scott watching the siblings as well.
"I was soooo scared. And mad. I was definitely mad! You Stiles better explain! A Fucking dog person-"
"Werewolf" Scott interjected.
" Werewolf tried to kill me! And you weren't there! And you weren't answering any of my calls. Neither was Lydia or Allison! Scott barely even texted me back and at least Liam actually answered and was considerate! You just left me all alone and what if you didn't find me! I would be dead!" You exclaimed heaving.
Stiles and Scott both looked down obviously feeling bad.
"Y/n I'm so so so sorry! I didn't mean to I just didn't want you getting hurt and the werewolf that attacked you was one we were hunting down. He attacked you because you're a weakness of ours. We didn't want to involve you. I mean obviously now you are involved but we didn't want you to be and-" Stiles rambled on and on.
A/n
You just smiled. When he was done you told Liam to come over and grabbed him by his shirt pulling him down on to your lips.
"That's a thanks for helping me. By the way I think you're pretty cute. Wanna go out?" You smirked as Liam blushed.
You sure were confident but he blamed it on the pain killers.
"Sure. I'd love to, y/n." He smiled.
I hope you enjoyed 💕 Sorry for any misspelling or grammar mistakes but hey it's a story! Bye my unsupervised critters 🐾💞
