Mammon: Well, I'm not surprised. You promised to get them and it took you a month.

Sitri: His Majesty's purpose was to piss off Solomon.

Satan: Their anger tastes good. So it's still a win. However, that doesn't mean I'll let them stay here any longer.

Beelzebub: Hm? But Bael has become their closest demon.

Mammon: No. I am their closest demon. They're mine to begin with.

Satan: Shut up. You don't own them.

Bael: *barges into the room* Your Majesty! MC disappeared!

Satan, Mammon, and Beelzebub: WHAT?!

MC: *on their way to the conference room*

MINOR SPOILERS FOR BEELZEBUB (bloodshed lore) and Leviathan

Satan as a girl das would be very overprotective to the point where he'll just kick away anyone who dares to look or speak to his daughter. Especially if his daughter is a teen.

"You can have your fun. Just not in front of me. If you speak with someone. Better keep it out of my sight."

He does value his daughters freedom, but his rage at seeing his daughter grow up and thus needing him less and less grows too.

He'll do a lot to keep her near for as long as he can and if there's ever a moment where she'll need him he won't say no.

Leviathan definitely is the type to raise his daughter to be elegant and formal. He would applaud her for her achievements and would probably scold her for failing too. He knows it isn't her fault, but her failing is him failing and he hates that feeling.

This could mean that their relationship will have some rocky moments, but one thing is for sure: he'll trust his children that he raised more than anyone in Hades.

If his daughter grows up and decides to hang out with others there will be times where she's monitored. If she knows about this eventually there probably will be a little fight. But he ends the fight with: "I trust you the most of everyone in Hades. I don't trust the demons you're with. I'll not stop, but I need to know if anything happens to you."

Mammon would shield his daughter at any time. Probably at her bad times or times she's wrong too.

He's the laid back father who'd let her do what she wants and wants to see her learn from making mistakes. Yes, he's protective, but he knows that as long as she's part of him she's strong enough to defend herself.

If she wants stuff from him, he has no trouble into giving it to her. This could make her somewhat spoiled and too carefree, but she'll also learn values in her attitude and actions from others and her father.

He promises that Tartaros is partially hers. And that she's always welcome to return when she wants to.

Beelzebub is the dad that will take care of his children without mentioning that he's their parent. Beelzebub would feed them, entertain them and protect them, but they'll see him once every few days.

He can't stay away from his kids and can protect them easily. He just doesn't want them to be there when one of his many selves dies.

He'll definitely be overprotective, but also distant. He will check if his daughter is hanging out with the right crowds and will ask the nobles of Avisos to check on her from time to time. Especially if he can't be near to check up on her.

He was planing on having a secret, low-scale relationship with you in the first place, so he's the happiest about this change

So we left off on Beel, Dong-hyung and MC making it back to the palace after walking through Avisos. MC is very much still drunk asf.

So Beel pulled down DonBear's pants lmao and left a tattoo on his booty that says 'cute' lol So now we know how Beel 'tattoos' he uses magic to do it. (kinda reminds me of that Misfits episode...)

And here this is how I realize that getting a tattoo from Beel is the highest honor. Also we do know DonBear is of age because he was at the bar in the first place, but perhaps he just didn't earn the piercing just yet because there are a lot of citizens of Avisos to go through...I'm sure some of them don't have a piercing yet.

I don't know why I gotten so picky with Headcanons of WHB, maybe cause some stereotype does not fit the characters anymore.

Like calling Mammon or Valefor a Himbo, and making Satan too emo depressed when he shows his depression in a different way that isn't common to public.

While Solomon did say that the devils are idiots, to me they lack common sense and will be blunt about things. And I did a post why the nobles act so differently with their kings but with MC they're more honest. Like Bimet, he act way differently with MC even though MC "owns" Mammon. In Chapter 5, Bimet is blunt and not agreeing with MC like he does with Mammon and I love that. I love when he thought that we betrayed them but agree with Leviathan's request on helping Hades and calling us traitor. Even we corrected him, he's still blunt and assuming things and that I love more, even if he likes MC to an extended. He'll call them out.

Hell, Beelzebub who would've been a idiot base of his outward appearance and behavior, he actually clever and wise at times.

Thus, me making HCs always take time for me cause I really have to think back and remember their character, and think if they would do this at all.

I don't know man, I want to write them. But I want to write them justice!! I don't want to butcher them cause I love how they are written.

Thoughts on Orias' event

I try to pretend that I have already cooled down and stopped howling with delight at the sight of the boys from Hades. Okay, I'm not very good at lying. They. are. gorgeous. So, ekhm. Some loose thoughts about what we know. No serious analysis this time, just my happy rambling.

Devils can lie

Earlier it was hinted between the lines, now we have official confirmation. Orias and Leviathan sure know how to lie.

Here is a suggestion that Foras can do it too.

On the one hand, my and my biased heart are happy that he is special, on the other hand, I think I would rather not know what he went through to learn how to lie. On an unbiased note, it would be interesting if all the nobles of Hades could lie.

Nobles stick together

It's a little thing I noticed. In Avisos we are often mentioned that seeing more than one noble at a time is an unusual thing. Meanwhile in Hades…

A large part of the event is from Foras' perspective, and how was I supposed to be calm?

We see that the boys often spend time together on patrols. Their relationship is also delightful. Foras doesn't like Glasyalabolas, and it's not mutual. Look.

Glasyal you bully, I love you lmao

Barbatos is gorgeous (even more so without clothes, but please, not on patrol).

Either way, it looks like they spend a lot of time together. They give so much siblings' energy.

AND THIS

I died. I didn't know I needed Barbatos saying fuck, but now I need him for my life. So hot of him.

Orias age

We have information that Orias is older than Leviathan…

…but this is information from biased, unconfirmed sources. Nobles only know rumors. I believe that Lucifer is the oldest. He's an angel, he makes sense. But when it comes to Orias, I would trust Leviathan more here.

I want to draw attention to this one quote in particular:

We know that devils get old. The stronger, the slower. But this suggests that Orias has been artificially aged.

Especially since the angels also refer to him as a kid.

+ it is interesting that they were taken for the same experiment.

Enough with serious topics, time to get back to silly things!

We've seen Satan's anger spreads to his subordinates, we've also seen it with Mammon's greed, so it's no wonder Leviathan's jealousy has the same strength. However, Levi's second main thing, his punishment, doesn't seem to be going as well as he dreamed.

They are terrible, I love them. No wonder the cavalry from Tartaros comes for us in Ch5, the guys from Gehenna would still shake hands with Hades. By the way, Hades and Genenna really seem to have the most similarities.

Hot.

Also, their devotion is insanely sweet. Leviathan isn't even truly in danger and they've already summoned their coffins to protect him.

But let's get to the cherry on the cake. You know what else is hot? We are in hell, it should be warm in here, but oh lord- I expected boiling lava, not a walking embodiment of perfection.

I totally agree with Glasyalabolas and his fourth wall breaking. JUST LOOK.

The smirk of this proud asshole. The fact that he is little known in heaven simply because he leaves no survivors to tell about him. And how much he smiles during this event. And how gently he treats Orias.

This event shows his soft heart and that's why I'm here. I'm glad that we don't see this side of him right away, in the chapter, and he only shows true himself with someone he really knows and cares about. Even if he does it his own way. This event, his attacker comic and his selfie comic, how he behaves towards heaven farm survivor and his childhood friends.

Final thoughts

Let's end this here before I start fawning over him even more. Of course, there was much more here. Even out of chronicler's duty, I would like to mention:

While escaping, Leviathan made a pact with his monster

There are beads in the hearts of angels that, when eaten, keep Orias young

Orias himself, if he didn't eat angel hearts, would age into a mummy in a week

Barbatos is secretly Sailor Moon or Winx or other magical girlie

This is how he dressed himself with his vines, prove me wrong.

Leviathan calls Glasyalabolas cute. Agree.

Orias calls Foras a child. It just sounds like a much older person addressing a younger colleague. And you know how much I agree

Did Satan rip MC's talisman out of selfishness?

So, recently, I saw that some players are upset about Satan's actions in the first part of Ppyongs/Juno's L card story. However, Satan's actions don't come from him being selfish. So I'm writing this post to analyze and explain his actions.

Also, as an F2P player, I don't have Juno's card and can't read his story, the images come from the YouTube video. The credit I'll put at the end of the post.

Firstly, I'll summarize the story. Spoilers alert.

On April Fool's Day, weird things happen to Hell and every habitants of Hell. The weird things vary and are different from devils to devils, they are also unpredictable. Zagan sticks talismans on everyone, these talismans can predict the weird thing that will happen to each devil. Devils can choose to accept it or not. Of not, they rip the talisman. However, they have to suffer another weird thing instead. As MC is living in Hell, they have a weird thing happening to them too. Zagan's talisman on MC says that MC can return to Earth. Satan grabs the talisman before MC or Sitri can. After reading it, he rips it and teleports away (teleportation is what Satan gets for his April Fool's).

So the problem is this. Many believe that Satan refuses to let MC return to visit their only family, Minhyeok, for one day. But I don't think so.

We'll begin with the reaction of the devils right after reading what the talisman says.

Their first reaction is worry. Why? Because to return to Earth, MC will have to leave Hell, where the devils can protect MC best. Remember, there's currently a great war between Heaven and Hell, dozens or even hundreds of devils die every day, because of the attack of the angels. It's a fact recognized in the main story that after the appearance of MC, angel's attacks begins to focus on wherever MC goes.

Minhyeok story 12

Gehenna has always been the focus of angel's attack since ages, because of Satan and his citizens' attitude. Gehenna is the first county MC stays when they come to Hell, so the change isn't noticeable. But when MC goes to Hades, the country began to receive more attack than usual, even Michael himself comes down. In the Halloween event, it's said that usually, only Gabriel comes down to attack Hell directly, Michael and Raphael rarely show their faces. So wherever MC goes, that place will receive unwanted attention and will be attacked more. And Earth isn't the place where MC can be best protected by devils.

Furthermore, it's weird thing happening to Hell. So I don't think MC will come back to Earth normal way, using teleportation place of Hell, but get ty teleported randomly to Earth. The talisman only says "return to Earth", it doesn't specify where. MC could end up in dangerous places, like in a desert with no water, or in the territory of a crocodile, or in the middle of the ocean. Again, the talisman doesn't specify where. It's a misconception that MC will be back to spend time with Minhyeok.

Also, if MC is back to Earth, MC will be out of Hell and will be out of the influence of the law of April Fool's Day. Any weird things happening on April Fool for devils will be reverted back to normal when the days ends. But because MC is out of Hell, that law no longer applies, and MC's return is not guaranteed. I think it's like you board a flight from your home country to country A. You already bought a ticket for a returning flight. But something happens at country A and they invalidate your ticket. And now you can't return to your home.

While pondering what to do, Sitri says they are concerned with your best interest. Remember devils cannot lie, except Lucifer, Gamigin (who isn't technically a devil), Leviathan and the Hades devils. Sitri can doubt because he studied in Hades, but he can't lie, just like any other Gehenna devils. So they are having your best interest when making the decision with your talisman, just like they said.

As for Satan teleporting away right after tearing MC's talisman. The text makes it sound like Satan gain an ability that he can control. But I don't think so. It's the rule of the April Fool's Day that you can't avoid the weird thing happening to you. If Satan decided not to use his teleportation ability and proceeded the day as normal, the law would fail. All the weird things happening are things that the devils can't avoid (like Ppyong gaining his handsome form, Paimon with animal ears, Sitri showing doubt, Leraye saying whatever is in his head). It's not something optional. So either Satan has no control of his teleportation or he has to use it after a certain period of time. And he can't bring MC with him either. I just can't imagine Satan not spending time with MC of his own volition.

Satan is possesive, yes, but he isn't a jerk who doesn't consider MC's feeling and emotion. It's he who invites Minhyeok to Hell in the Halloween event, just because MC says they want to see Minhyeok.

You've gone to hell, and it's not like, super terrible. It's not as nice as the big afterlives like heaven or nirvana or even hades, but it's not like horrible or anything. Satan really wanted this to be a cool place for sinners to hang out, he's clearly trying his best, he just doesn't have the same budget to work with.

You get to hang out with a lot of neat people down here. Your roommate when you first get an apartment in hell is a girl who died medieval Venice. Apparently she spent a lot of time dressed as a man and may have drowned a priest because of a girl they were mutually trying to seduce. She knows a lot of the best places to hang out in hell, which is basically just one giant city at this point because there's not that much space in any given afterlife and there are a lot of people here.

There are some truly terrible people down here. You met someone who made a living selling fake cures for syphilis. And you nearly got into a fist fight with a crusader whose down here for consuming human meat. But generally most sinners you meet are chill people who just sort of had nowhere else to go.

Not much happens in hell. Occasionally the demons give people activities, but for the most part you're just on your own. But that makes it kind of chill, nobody eats or sleeps or has sex or anything, you just kind of hang out and talk, and watch a lot of movies and read books. Nobody has to work, sometimes you create art because you have the time but that's not the same as a job.

Its fun swapping stories with people from the past. Everyone understands eachothers languages for whatever reason, so you can talk to eachother without an issue. You feel so connected to human history, there are so many people down here with interesting lives.

Occasionally you'll meet someone historically famous, like Joan of Arc, Thomas Jefferson, and Steve Jobs all live down here and you might just run into them. And you find that cool. You saw HP Lovecraft crying on the side of the street near your apartment, you think he just does that sometimes.

Generally hell just feels chill. It feels like you should be more passionate about being down here. You didn't die for a very happy reason. You're happy that you get to relax now. Even if it isn't heaven.

Levi is annoyed and jealous of Barbatos, who is very clingy towards you. yes, levi is known as a king of envy in Hades. he has eyes on you for a long, long time. he hates it when his subjects get closer to you. he is aware that you are the daughter of both Solomon and Aphrodite. he is envious at your beauty, your ability to make people and especially demons and angels fall in love with you, but you refuse to release your power. you're a mortal and he is immortal and powerful. he heard rumors that you are sadistic, but you are nicest and soft-hearted person that he had met. seems like the rumor is trying to paint you as a bad person.

it does get levi's nerves when some demons get way too close to you. he wasn't hesitant to pull you away or hang someone. everyone knew to stay away from you because levi has his eyes on you, everywhere you go. he does trust foras to watch over you, in case something happens to you. you aren't sure if you should be worried if levi is jealous of your beauty, since you are aware that levi is the most beautiful demons in Hades and everyone knows that. you are not taking levi's spotlight, but it sounds like the opposite to levi. he loves you, but wouldn't admit it.

"solomon! you smell so good! you smell like red roses who blooms by the sun every day!" the golden hair demon whose voice is louder than you thought as he chants you smelling like roses.

"ah, thank you Barbatos..." you thank him with awkward smile. Barbatos is a demon who also smells like roses, too. it would be weird for you to be praise by someone who smells and likes roses. it's not like you're copying someone, right?

you could feel levi's intense stare somewhere. you couldn't look at him because he is jealous of you. he is aware that you are the daughter of both Solomon and Aphrodite. you have gotten your beauty and genetics from your ancestor Aphrodite. heck, you cannot blame them. you are clever to know that levi was envious of you, when you first met each other when he brought you to Hades. you are thankful for your ancestor's genetics since you cannot be fooled by anyone. you decided to play along with levi's being envious towards you and choosing your words carefully when you are around him.

"solomon," levi approaches you as he calls your name. "i wish to speak to you."

you are getting suspicious since levi's tone is a little more polite than rather harsh and cold. however, you accept his request since you don't want to get hang by the ropes that he commanded.

Barbatos left you two alone. of course, he follows his majesty's request. no one dares to reject their beautiful king of Hades' request.

levi had pulled you into his office as his eyes is staring at you like daggers.

"what do you want to talk about-" you were interrupted by levi's word.

"I'm jealous of you being beautiful than me. Are you challenging me?" he narrows his eyes as he crosses his arms staring at you with clear jealously written on his face.

"w-what...? no, why would I challenge you?" you asked slowly raising your eyebrow in confusion.

you saw levi walking towards you as he lifts your chin to make you look at him in the eyes. "...such pretty eyes." he murmurs as he squished your cheeks with his one hand. "They're pretty..."

you don't understand why he is praising your eyes? What business does he want from you? you are confused as his hand let go of your cheeks as it went down, stroking your neck. his eyes is following his fingers as it trace your neck.

"levi... you're being weird..."

"I want to mark you... you belong to me, solomon.." his sultry quiet voice as he traces your throat lines. "don't ever talk to that demon again..."

he refers as Barbatos. your mind clicked as he mentioned Barbatos was hovering over you because of your scent of roses. he is indeed jealous. now, levi wants to mark you as his, forever.

"what would you say, solomon?" levi asked as he pulled you closer. "do you want me to ruin that pretty skin of yours?"

you froze in your place as you watched levi's opened his mouth to take a bite of your flesh.

Okay guys I did it!

The four kings dress designs for Mirjami!

It sort of was hard to start but I got into it here's some notes about it:

First Satan's

So Satan's got a pretty cool aesthetic imo. This is a bit different than the obey me dresses where I kind of took inspiration from the country and impression instead of the characters but I can see Mirjami liking this.

His is my fave because I can see Mirjami being really happy in it x3

Next Mammon's:

So Mammon's got a lot going on because it's Mammon of all people so I made his dress a mix of his colors and the Disney Belle Dress ( I was also watching vids roasting the live action dress so... Yeah )

Mirjami would like this one too because she'd feel like a princess and I imagine Mammon's got more glitzy ones for her in case :>

Now Beelzebub:

(At this point I dabbled with the idea of short haired Mirjami)

So Beelzebub's was tricky because I wanted to make it sort of like a skort and like Satan's a reflection of Beel.

The simplicity I feel suits em because the mf is always wandering but Mirjami might not like it because she feels like a rebel dressed like this heheh >u<

And lastly... Leviathan.

(Also if Beel's symbol isn't right lemme know I tried to find it but couldn't ;w; )

Now if you've been visiting my blog you know I really don't like Leviathan and Mirjami hates him so she's not really thrilled wearing anything from him or Hades.

However I can see his dress always covering her body much like how he covers his and the chains and collar is a reflection of how you aren't Leviathan's equal; you're his to own and possess. If he says you're wearing that you're wearing it.

About the video...

TLDW; Max basically talks about why the number 3 is considered a sacred number in numerology. For example, Max argues that we often see Gods that come in triads (i.e. Zeus and his brothers Neptune and Hades), but argues that 4 is actually a number of wholeness.

I had rambled about numerology and the significance of 3 and 4 before here. But here's the text again (context: mind = body = soul in jjk as representing the 3 major clans):

Thing is, we are ideally meant to think of it as if this holy trinity (3) makes up one whole together (4). This "whole" is called the Self in Jungian terms, and it is thought to be the entirety of our existence (mind (includes the shadow) + body + soul). Also, from a numerology and esoteric standpoint, you also want to consider that four (the Self) symbolizes stability and order, where three (mind + body + soul) is harmonious but not balanced.

But I really like that Max brought up the Kabbalistic tree of life for his example of why 4 = wholeness. I'm not going to go into all that tho. Suffice it to say he brings up Jung's Answer to Job, which I have not finished reading, but I understand the book is basically Jung rambling about why God is basically an asshole.

Don't quote me on this.

Part of the conclusion that Jung came to is that if God (1) represents "good" then he is not omnipotent because there is an opposite energy to "good", and that is "evil", or Satan (2).

Now, Max talks about how the Holy Trinity (3) represents aspects of God (or something like that), but that Satan, who is on an equal level as God (because good vs evil are opposing energies), got pushed into the shadow (4).

Again, Max does a much better job at explaining how this works, but the whole thing totally reminded me of Jungian typology.

In the diagram above, you can replace mind (spirit), body (the son), soul (the Father) and (?) with one of the functions from the MBTI.

Mind you, I haven't studied Jungian typology in depth, and I am totally not well-versed on MBTI typology. But the gist of it is that there's 4 functions thinking, feeling, sensation, and intuition. For one reason or another, one becomes dominant, two support the dominant one, and a 4th one is underdeveloped or pushed into the shadow.

You see the pattern?

This is where we come to jjk and the one who might "emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. [And] purify that which is impure."

Now. I don't have the most coherent thoughts on the topic tbh. Everything is kind of a bunch of ideas floating around that I'm having a hard time grounding.

But I think of particular interest is the idea of the bath's goal being "being near evil."

But in the original Japanese text, the kanji Ura Ume uses is the kanji for devil/demon, not evil. You know, the function that got pushed into the shadow.

So there's defo something here pointing at the need for wholeness and for bringing the contents of the shadow into consciousness in order to achieve said wholeness.

And what is in the deepest depths of the shadow? The devil himself. Your own worst enemy.

If you haven't already, I recommend you read Ant's meta of Megumi's character (hi Ant). Of particular interest to this whole ramble, is the idea that at the core of individuation, Megumi is being tasked with merging with his shadow and how that has greater implications...

I remember seeing a post one time asking about why or who liked Leviathan.

Btw, the butt thing was a joke, sorry XD

I cannot give an easy proper answer unless I see more of him since I've only read like... one card story of his...

Whereas, I can easily say I like Satan better because I've seen more of him in the main story and card stories.

He does seem mean in a sense, but it's not him trying to bully MC necessarily from what I see. It's more like he sort of is scolding their behaviour or atleast calling out their behaviour.

Seeing how MC at times can get very... bold. I think it would be nice to have atleast one character to point it out and say something about it. It would also be very... boring if literally every king encouraged them to do whatever they want. They know temptation. They know that humans fall into temptation and can lose a grasp of reality. Depending on who you are you either need a call out for your actions or encouragement to do something.

Also taking his fear and trauma into account. Yeah, he may seem unnecessarily closed off since his trauma is better explained in a certain card which many players probably don't have.

But if I were experimented on in my childhood and had to see many of my friends die as a child I would also be closed off, doubting, wanting some distance.

On top of that, he can't let himself fully loose since he like many in Hades were orphans trapped in heaven without any links to demons in Hell. Heaven and Hell never had a perfect relationship. He knows that other demons would see Hades as a country of spies for angels since the orphans had no way of proving that they were demons. No relatives that could confirm that they're 100% demons.

It was also said once (from chats in the main story) that demons could have children with many species including angels. If a demon and angel had a child together it would probably still show demon traits despite being on the angel's side. To prove that he's on the demon's side he's closed off and presents him in a certain way where others will see that he's serious and not there to goof around. The tension between Hades and the rest of Hell in general would be very heavy.

There were more examples given about children bleeding from every hole, suffocating, and dying from heat as their blood literally boiled.

I think to understand Leviathan is to see that he isn't one to instantly kneel at your feet. He will need some time to open up to you. He might accept you in the stories as s/o but that doesn't mean he's comfortable being completely open.

Leviathan is one of many characters. You don't have to like him. He's there for the people he would attract.

Kings and their subjects

It's such a shock for me to see have fucking envious the nobles are in this event. Like I know that it's Hades and that Leviathan is the biggest offender of this sin. But see Glasyalabolas and Barbatos getting jealous taken me aback.

Maybe cause they never show that side in the main story before. They've only show their devotion to Leviathan. We've seen in Gehenna that some would be honored getting hit by Satan... If it isn't from him getting upset or angry.

Avisos/Abyssos let Beelzebub pierce or give them on the spot or invite them. In Tartaros, you are literally Mammon's property.

Mentally preparing for what extreme side of devotion for Niflheim, Abaddon, and Paradise Lost.

This reminds me of how fucking devoted people with some of the Royal family in the past are or in old history.

Since I grew up being taught to be my own individual and choose who I should follow base on what I think is the right leader. I could see people being taken aback by this kind of behavior.

Even if the devils in WHB tells you that, you are free to do whatever you want. They themselves are slave to their internal instinct to follow and be devoted to their kings, especially the 72 devils/nobles.

I think that PB did the right thing and made sure that the Kings themselves aren't tyrant or like a bad ruler.

All four has shown that they do care for their people, and nobles. Sure they might choke, kick, etc. But they aren't taking advantage of them or using them in the wrong way if you know what I mean.

For me, The kings are whether or not they know it. Are slaves to their sins. They carry the burden of enduring feeling (Wrath, Greed, Envy, Gluttony, Pride, Lust, and Sloth) to the point that it may have something to do with their "Mental illness"

Imagine living your none ending life, feeling one sin and you can't ignore it. That would be torture.

Maybe that's why they are fascinated by Solomon and MC, they have the same desire and vices as they are, but they have the freedom of whether or not to act upon them.

I'm still new to Tumblr and figuring things out as I go, that's why I haven't mentioned much about requests. But of course, I take them! I'm happy to try to bring your lovely idea to life~

Let's tone it down a little just to avoid obvious hanging. A marriage between WHB and Mean Girls is something I never expected, but I bet it will be fun. You had such a big brain with this one.

So what would happen if we agreed to "join" the boys from Hades, but at the same time make a bit of a mess as punishment for kidnapping us.

Satan is the one who would like to piss off Levi first (after you calmed down his anger, of course). Moreover, they know each other well. You can count on many tips and ideas about what a jealous king hates. How about training his monster to respond to your commands? The tentacles will be useful if you want to oppose Levi. Besides, he'll be furious. And that's what Satan loves the most.

Sitri is too calm to propose conspiracies himself. But let him see your sad face and he'll do anything for you. His knowledge will be very useful, after all, he was in Hades for some time. He will give you information on how to train a monster from another dimension and let you practice on his iron maiden so that everything will go according to plan. It's easy and quite quick if you know what you're doing. Although Sitri would prefer it if you weren't doing so well, then he could spend more time with you.

We move on to the first stage. You have to gain their trust. The best person to start with will be Glasyalabolas. Now time to check what these creatures react to, what they don't, and whether they will accidentally eat you. Also, Barbatos have a whole beautiful rose garden in his coffin. "Could you show me?" He will be delighted. Besides, he will want to apologize for poisoning you and show that these roses are not dangerous at all, while revealing how their coffins works. His behavior is so sweet that for a moment you forgot about revenge… stay strong, a plan is a plan!

Step three and the reason why it was necessary to secure a warm place and support in the two previous devils. Foras. Of course, he's been watching you since the very beginning, but now it's time to call him out. This shy boy is no harm as long as Leviathan isn't around. Wooing him will be trivial, start telling him how much you would like to make peace with the king and do something nice for him. "What? Oh, it's a surprise, I can't tell you!" Stroke him a little on these beautiful horns and you will have access to wherever you want. Beautiful, iridescent horns… focus, focus, focus! You will hire him as your sweet little spy. He will show you where the king's room is, and every time Leviathan is near his room, you will know in advance.

And this is the finale. Leviathan's room is nicer than you thought, and his coffin is there whenever he's not using it. Taking the cover off was trivial. Summoning tentacles is even easier than you thought. After two or three days, they started to respond to your not-so-wise commands… Sitri and Barbatos must have been right, it's in your blood!

"What makes you so happy? Of course it is perfectly trained, it belongs to me."

The cold voice behind you made your blood run cold, you didn't notice when the door opened. You turned around only to see Leviathan holding Foras by the noose like a leash. He didn't hang him only because he needed silence.

"What were you going to do with it, turn it against me? I'm not an idiot."

Subconsciously you imagined the knot around your neck. Leviathan threw his subject out the door with a nod and the door closed as quietly as it opened. You were trapped.

"What will you do now?"

You did what came to your mind; just as Sitri and Barbatos showed, you waved your hand to the front. A signal for tentacles to attack. Would they listen when you tell them to attack their true master? Of course not. But they did not remain deaf to your request. They positioned themselves on either side of you, and you recognized the gesture. Just like they wanted to protect you.

You stood tall, ready… you didn't know for what, but definitely not for his barely visible, mocking smile. Leviathan cupped your chin between his index finger and thumb. Anger flared up inside you. He ruined everything. This wasn't supposed to be like this! Slender fingers moved to your neck. You wanted to strangle him, and he could see it in your eyes.

"Now that you've tamed my monster, use it."

You reached your hand out to his chest. As if on cue, one of the thick tentacles wrapped around the swan's neck. You didn't mean to punish him like this, but maybe a good strangling would also work… He fucked your plan, so now you had to fuck him.

Who are you trying to fool?

You had to fight evil, not join it. But who can blame you when the evil stand in front of you all sexy and just waiting to humiliate him.

Dating in video games is an interesting thing to think about, especially as an aroace. My instinct is to ignore that side of things and just continue the game as normal, but then that's an entire mechanic that I'm missing out on, and I usually have characters that I do enjoy more than others, so quite often I end up pursuing someone just for the hell of it. Most often, they don't end up doing anything sexually explicit anyway, and so I can continue on thinking that the relationship is just a nice qpr style thing where they maybe do a smooch sometimes and sleep in the same bed but nothing much more than that. Yeah, they have kids, no, that doesn't mean anything, it's a fantasy world, who cares?

And then you have the gender side of things. I very often end up in a same sex relationship in games that allow it just because hey, it's neat that they allow that sort of thing these days! In Stardew Valley, I was torn between Sebastian and Abigail until I decided that gay was the way, and now I'm married to a fucking freak who eats diamonds and I love her. (But it wouldn't let me marry Linus or the wizard, so what is even the fucking point tbh.) I love that Krobus is an option for those of us who might be entirely repulsed by the whole romance section, but it'd be neat if I could get him to move in as well as being married, because come on. Anyway, I digress.

When it comes to dating games specifically, I'm kind of a mixed bag. I love characters proving that they care about each other, and when the entire point of the game is to make you like these characters, usually there is at least one who is charming enough to be attractive. It never actually does anything for me, but I can appreciate the characters and want for mine to be closer to some than others. As long as there isn't any explicit sex, I can sometimes play a dating game. I mean, I can't get upset at dating options in a dating game, that's like playing a shooter and being upset that you have to shoot things. Sometimes it's nice being able to let characters know that you appreciate them, as strange as it sounds.

And that's what matters to me in a fictional relationship, I guess. I wasn't super upset that Papyrus didn't want to date me, as long as he knew that I loved the dude enough to hang out with him. I absolutely love the mechanic of Ambrosia in Hades, because I get to give the characters that I like nice little gifts and give my appreciation for Sisyphus and all that. Is it an extension of never wanting to take the mean dialogue option? Maybe. I just like knowing that these characters know I love them.

That being said,
