So I finished the Evangelion anime.

No I did not abandon studying for finals for this, I am being reasonable, I just got really into it lmao.

Spoilers for Neon Genesis Evangelion

I loved it. Genuinely it definitely picked up my interest after episode 4 and i’m glad I kept up with it.

The whole thing with Gendo and Rei, what in the hell! Okay I saw that coming from a mile off but that doesn’t mean I didn’t go “i’m sorry what” and pause for a good minute afterwards. I’m glad it wasn’t as weird as I initially thought it was gonna be, but still.

Kaworu, I got such fishy vibes from him from the moment he showed up. I kinda miss him though I can’t lie.

Kaiji. What can I say about Kaiji. He was so sus in the start, but I feel like he sort of redeemed himself later.

Asuka i’m very conflicted over. Her attitude towards Shinji and the others does annoy me quite a lot but I can’t bring myself to hate her. It’s frustrating, yes, but I understand why she is the way she is.

Tohji is probably one of my favourites. I don’t know why, I just attached myself to him so quickly.

Now, what’s all this about a rare pair with Misato that you mention earlier? I’m curious to know~

Overall, I’m glad I kept at it. It was a little awkward at times, but the 90s aesthetic and the amazing music and cool opera that randomly showed up was entertaining and kind of nostalgic. I got my start on some old animes like Sailor moon and stuff so it really is quite reminiscent.

Hahaha, Yeah Gendo is definitely messed up. I have so many feelings about him and way too many to put here (plus I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who sees this and hasn't watched it and plans to).

I loved Kaji. I can see where there are times when it's easy to question what his deal is. Asuka...I was never fond of her. With any show I'm super into, I know I've had my feelings on some characters soften with every rewatch, but she's never been one of them. I understand why she's like that and I feel for her, but...idk. There is just something that doesn't hit with me for some reason. I rewatch Evangelion every June (It's a tradition I've had for almost 2 decades lol) maybe this time will be different lol. I adore Toji! He is one of my favorites! Such a bright force in the story!

Misato is one of my favorite all time characters and I run into so many people that that hate her (which is another reason I bounced from the Evangelion fandom fast, though I blame the hate towards her in part on the Netflix dub, which I found horrendous, so if that is the one you watched and still enjoyed it, I applaud you so hard right now lol! The first time I watched it was a bootleg straight out of Japan and I feel like the sub translation was just way more accurate to the intention of the show and had a different feel for the characters than the new Netflix dub. Idk, that may just be me.)

The rare pair was for Rei! :-) I ship her with Kaworu so bad! lol. I call them my moon children. I just....AHKDGSLGHLDSKDK! There are reasons for that...but again...spoilers. lol. I ship Misato (tragically) with Kaji. For someone who doesn't ship much, I have a decent amount for Evangelion lol!

I feel like, to me anyway, a major theme of Evangelion is you can't expect everyone and everything to be black and white. People are complicated and with that, their feelings and reasonings for doing things are as well. Maybe that's why I like the characters that I've seen hated on so much. People want them to be good or a specific kind of "bad" (everyone loves a sexy villain, but that isn't there in Evangelion) and I don't feel that any of the characters fit into those tropes easily.

Ok I have to scream to you about the moment I was hooked and I'm going to put it under a cut because spoilers...

In episode one, When Unit-01 moves one her own to protect Shinji, I was done for. I was like...holy shit his mother's soul is in there, isn't it? The person I was watching it with was like "How the Hell did you...???" That's why I always say the EVA Units are characters. It's not that I'm a mecha fan (I don't hate them, they just usually aren't my jam is all), It was the moment that these EVA's were so much more than just an innovation to fight the Angels. Like...they were sentient. She recognized her baby and wanted to protect him. It was so viscerally moving for me. An artificial construct...with a mother's soul trapped inside it...Hell yes, give it to me. I have literally had people tell me that Yui's soul isn't inside her, and like...Did you guys even watch the anime? Like...that's the whole point and...just wow. The concept of what is it to have a soul is such a central theme in Evangelion (don't get me started on our Rei and that...We'll be here all day lol!)

Ok I will shut it now. Thank you for letting me ramble about this. I have no one to talk about this amazing anime with and I just want to explode sometimes lol. It was the first anime I watched that I fell in love with and it's so special to me. Arguably my favorite of all time, the only reason I put arguably is because L is my all time favorite character, so I feel like I have to put Death Note right up there next to it, even though if it wasn't for him, it wouldn't be as high as it is on the list lol. That sounds terrible but it's the truth lol. I once told someone that Evangelion was my favorite, I just had to make a little room in my heart for Death Note as well. I can't think of another way to put it into words lol.

the ark: of course, clarke was raised on the ark. all her memories from birth to seventeen are on the ark. it’s where she used to follow her mother around in the hospital, dreaming of one day being a surgeon like her. it’s the last place she saw her father. it’s worth noting that her mental landscape takes the form of the ark, and that her worst memories are not contained within the ark, but in a landscape that looks much like the place where she mercy killed finn.

her cell: she spent nearly a year in solitary confinement in this cell, she knew every inch of the space and endeavored to cover every inch in her imagined drawings of what earth might look like. depictions of earth, flora, animals, all based on what she’s seen in textbooks and old film media, covered the walls and floor. it is worth noting here also that it was within this cell that her reserved self appeared in her mental landscape, with memories of her friends and loved ones decorating the walls instead.

the dropship: her first ‘ home ’ on earth, so to speak. this is where she bonded with the delinquents, where she first started to take on that responsibility for their survival that weighs on her so heavily. this is also the site of an IMPOSSIBLE CHOICE, where she instructed jasper to light the jet fuel and burn the hundreds of earthborn attackers despite believing that bellamy and finn would also perish in the flames.

ton dc: the site of another IMPOSSIBLE CHOICE. with full knowledge that a bomb would be dropping on the village, she left alongside lexa without warning anyone. hundreds more died at the hands of the mountain men that day, and although she is not directly responsible for their deaths, she knows that she could have prevented them and so it does not feel any different to her, no matter who sent the bomb in the first place.

mount weather: of course, the site of her most notorious IMPOSSIBLE CHOICE. the mountain is the reason she became known as WANHEDA. the girl who came to the ground with eyes full of bright hope, amazed at the green life of the forest, who learned to wish on shooting stars... that girl surfaced from the mountain bunker forever changed. although she would make the same decision again today if she had to, there is an inescapable GUILT within her for the massacre that day.

polis: the site of the battle with ALIE and the final conclave, two very different moments in clarke’s time on earth. the first, a moment of true heroism, choosing to face pain and suffering so that they might truly live. the second, one of her greatest mistakes, fear and anxiety over the past leading her to try to steal the bunker instead of trusting in octavia.

arkadia: the campsite and perhaps second ‘ home ’ for clarke on earth is intertwined with a sense of responsibility. she had taken charge before storming the mountain because she knew her friends were in danger, but after the battle with ALIE, people continued to look to her. although she often does think she knows best, her time in a leadership position in arkadia showed her the true difficulties of leading.

the desert: she will never regret choosing to stay behind so that her friends could make it to the ring, but her time alone in the desert haunts her. she came so close to giving up. between her residual guilt and the daily ordeal of solitude... the bunker being covered in rubble... her friends unreachable on the ring... the reality of her desperate loneliness truly sunk in. and yet, somehow she found the strength within her to go on.

shallow valley / eden: finding the valley gave her hope in the hopeless post-praimfiya world. finding madi there gave her purpose. for six years clarke was able to just be CLARKE. having the chance to set down the mask of wanheda and just be herself, caring for madi and surviving together in the strange new world was relief like nothing else. in that time, she’s able to find some semblance of peace. she draws actively for the first time in a long, long time. she reconnects with the person she can remember being once, dreaming of living on the ground someday. but she also starts to process her own failures and traumas; she tells madi stories from before praimfiya, in which she is never the hero. once everyone is reunited, settling into the last patch of green on earth, the valley becomes her true home.

Rook calls Epel “himeringo”, the Japanese word for plumleaf crabapple. I shortened it.

As we know already, Epel sometimes slips in his country accent, hence the weird wording.

Chapter 1

Courtyard

Vil: …8…9…10! Next up is the camel pose. Push your chest out and lean your upper body backward. Hold your ankles with your hands and keep that pose.

Everyone: Yes!

Epel: Ugh… Rook…

Rook: What is it, monsieur Crabapple?

Epel: I came to help with the shooting of the next work of the cinema studies club, but… Argh! Why are we doing yoga… Ugh?

Rook: Epel, you know, it's because we wanted you to take part in relaxing activities. If people relaxed, they will become more flexible mentally, and more active in discussions and communication. Yoga is the best exercise to improve your blood flow, metabolism and it soothes your mind. Moreso, your posture and physique will become much more beautiful! Epel: Argh! Vil's clothes are torn into pieces!?

Rook: Yes, I saw it. That felt out of place. As the Savanclaw students said, they don't only not care , but even negate the very existence of "beauty". Despite that, do you think they would use an eloquent expression like "Defective"? While I was thinking about that, I inspected the garment that seemed to be torn apart by claws carefully.. And followed the clues to you.

Epel: Um, so someone tore up the garments of the cinema studies club. But it was a fake, and not the real one…? I, I'm confused.

Rook: Quit the club? Non!! That would be outrageous, my dear costumer!

Rook: This case. His love for Vil created and destroyed it. Thus… Love only won't make you able to finish a piece that can be mistaken for the real thing. Cinema studies Student B: It's just as Rook says. You are the best out of us at dressmaking, if you weren't here it would stump us. Come on, let's go back to the clubroom. Let's repair this garment before Vil comes back from his work!

Cinema studies Student A: ! Y-Yes!!

Rook: Okay! That settles one case.

Epel: Rook! That was splendid. You are so observant, to tell it's a counterfeit just by the seams.

Rook: Ah. That was a lie! No one hand-sews anything these times. They all use a sewing machine. You can't see that with the naked eye, right? It was a trick.

Epel: Huh… Huuuh!? Then how did you know it was a fake?

Rook: Fufufu, the truth is much simpler. Smell. The counterfeit clothes didn't have a single atom of the characteristic and unique mellow fragrance that Vil has, so I knew immediately.

Epel: What!? That investigation method is kinda… gross, you know?

Rook: Listen, Epel. I regard the information you can get by smelling highly, as it's useful for hunting. You can know the places one visited or in this case, the person's characteristics, by the traces of their smell. For example… sniff sniff. What you had for lunch today-

Epel: Argh!? S-Stop this!

Rook: Hahaha! Just kidding. My nose isn't that good either.

Epel: I thought you were amazing like a detective, but… maybe you're really just a weirdo.

if you ask him to hold your hand while riding, he'd keep stepping out of your reach then laugh his ass off if you fell over.

"RIN STOP MOVING IM GONNA FALL!!" you yelled as you wobbled on your board. rin kept stepping just out of your reach to help with your balance. "come on baby, im literally not moving anywhere" he chuckled, looking at you directly in the eye as he stepped back again.

You stretched your hand out to grab onto your boyfriend. Your hands nearly touched but you leaned slightly too far. The skateboard slipped from underneath you, sending you flying. Hearing a snort from above, you look up to see your tall boyfriend laughing at you. "HAHAHA!" he chuckled at you. "really y/n, you should have seen your face! good job i caught it on camera right?".

You pouted as you saw his phone that was obviously recording your embarrassing moment. Rin saw your annoyed look and slipped his phone into his hoodie pocket. Crouching down to your level, he took your hands softly, as to not hurt the grazes, and he pulled you up. He brought your small hands and softly kissed the marks to soothe them. The entire time, he looked into your eyes.

"Come on, we really gotta work on your balance" he said softly, helping you back on your board, getting on his right by your side. Squeezing tightly onto your hand, he turned his head to give you a soft smile. You smiled back at him, both of you giving a soft push to skate across the path side by side.

"Y/N-CHAN HELP ME!!". You're sat on a wall, resting your hand in your palm, watching your 6 ft tall boyfriend, screaming like a girl. "Tooru you're fine, you're not gonna fall" you said, giggling. It was amusing watching your lanky boyfriend's long limbs flailing as he tried to keep himself still while the skateboard shifted continuously under his feet. "Y/N-CHANNN" he whined. Smirking and rolling your eyes, you hopped off of the wall to rescue Tooru. As soon as you got within 2 ft of him, he latched onto you, gripping you tightly. "Calm down, Kawa, here hold my hand and I'll help you" you said, clutching his hand and squeezing it to reassure him.

Calming down a bit, Tooru looked at you with a slightly nervous smile. "Heh... y'know Y/N-chan, if you wanted to hold my hand, you could've just sai-OW WAIT NO DONT LET GO IM SORRY!!" Smirking, you walked slowly next to him, steering him while giving him pointers on how he should angled his feet.

was the biggest surprise that he could actually skate pretty well

doesn't do any fancy-ass tricks but can go pretty fast without falling

will 9/10 bring his switch with him and probs bandage you up if you fall but dont expect him not to laugh a bit.

"Kenmaaa come onn teach me to go fast like you!" you whined at your boyfriend, who was sat on top of a skate ramp playing on his switch. Without taking his eyes off of his game, he smirked "You can do it babe, I believe in you". You rolled your eyes, picking up your now-flipped board and setting it down.

You angled the board away from any of the ramps so you wouldn't crash, and pushed yourself down the pathway. You rested your foot behind the one in front. You tried to steer your way around the park but the board was becoming unsteady and wobbling until it slipped out from under you, sending you flying forward and landing on your knees.

"Shit Y/N are you okay?" you heard followed by hurried footsteps. You looked up to see Kenma crouching over you with a slightly worried expression on his face. "Damn, I thought you're steering was better than that. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." He slipped his arm under your cut knees and carried you over to the ramp where your backpacks sat with his game and board.

After taking the bandages out of his backpack (it was like he knew this was gonna happen), he gently wrapped your knees in the soft bandage, leaving a small kiss on each one. Kenma stood up and put both his and your bags on his shoulders and helped you down from the ramp. "I can carry my bag y'know babe?" He took your hand in yours and walked you over to where your board was left. "No it's okay, but do you think you could carry your board though?" he replied.

You looked up at him with a bright smile "Yep don't worry about it!". You tried to run to your board but Kenma stopped you. "Hey, hey, slow down, you gotta be careful 'kay?". You squeezed his hand in a reassuring manner. "Okay, good. Come on let's get home. I wanna charge my switch, it's almost dead"

"Satori! Shush, people will be trying to sleep, you don't have to shout" you said, walking over to him, board in hand. He ran up to you, giggling, and took your board from you and set it on the floor. You were confused as to what he was doing, but as he was crouched down to put the hoard on the floor, he wrapped his arms around your thighs and hoisted you into the air.

You screamed in surprise and laughed really hard, "Satori put me down, you're gonna drop me!" you cried, as he started to tip you over his shoulder. "Ah-ah-ah, baby, you gotta be quiet, people are sleeping~" he said while jumping around with you in his arms. You started softly hitting at his back, begging him to put you down. When he finally did, he tucked a loose piece of hair behind your ear, giving you a quick peck on the cheek. "Come on, let's take a little break"

You guys sat on your skateboards next to each other, watching funny tiktoks, seeing who could down a monster the fastest (satori won) and who cluld catch the most gummy bears in their mouth. A chill ran up your spine, while watching a tiktok Satori was showing you and he eyed you from the side. He placed the phone in your hand so you could carry on watching and grabbed his spare hoodie from his backpack. Without warning, he just shoved your head through the hoodie and pulled your arms through. You looked at him lovingly as he sat beside you again, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and pulling you close. "I love you a lot Satori. Thank you for everything you do for me". You turned to look at him, confused as to why he had such a wide-eyed expression that immediately softened when your eyes met. Stroking your cheek gently, "I love you too y/n. Thank you for being mine"

You ran over to Shoyo, expecting him to be in pain or a bit defeated at least. Nope. Turns round with the brightest smile saying, "Aw man i was so close!". You chuckled lightly, grabbing his hand to help him up.

"Come on, let's take a hydration break, you've been at it for like an hour straight". You and Shoyo sat on both of your boards sharing some snacks and candies while drinking from your water bottles. "Hey baby look!" he said, pointing at the sky. "It's a cloud that looks like a cat!" You looked up to see a kitty cloud, making you giggle a bit. "Wait, you should totally take a picture and send it to Kenma!" you suggested. "OH MY GOD THATS A GREAT IDEA!" he shouted. Fumbling for his phone, taking a snap of the cloud and sending it to "Kenma the Kat 🐱" on snap. "Tell him i said hi too" you told Shoyo.

After about 10 more minutes of snapping back and forth with Kenma, you started to pack up your things, suggesting to Shoyo you two go get some burgers on the way home. He agreed but instead of getting up, he shimmied his position on his board so he was sat with legs on either side. You raised an eyebrow, trying to figure out your boyfriend's antics. Before you could put two and two together, Shoyo gave himself a huge push and went flying down the path while sitting on the board, screaming all the way.

You had to carry both your bags and your board, chasing him down so you didn't lose him.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THE NEW CHAPTER!! i'm gushing, screaming (silently bc my fam will kill me ahdk), and rolling in my bed bc it's so good!! i always love how u include details about the other guys in it huhu from their actions down to their little expressions! also your writing always manage to make the scenes feel alive and real, as if i'm right there witnessing it and experiencing the moment! (this is coming from someone with very bad imagination too) rather than telling, you are showing me!! and i find that really awesome :)

and and the hairpin from koko??? a detail that will be added to my favorites list!! it made me remember something i thought i'd already forget. back then around 2017 i think? i went on a trip to beijing with my mom, where i bought this hairpin i liked a lot, it's traditional chinese style(?) which i think goes with koko

The warm condolences of his fans comforted him. He's thankful to have them.

Y/n's first ever single is coming out. You have been pretty busy too. Recordings, photoshoots,MV filming etc. And SM and fans are breathing down your neck everytime you move.

Some anti spread fake rumors about you. Usually you'll ignore it but right now is different. Being new to this industry brought pressure to you and you don't know what to do but just cry..

You saw a cat. You always love cats, they calm you down. It gives comfort to you. You decided to bring it home to your shared space with taeyong.

You did him a favor and put a little spice in his composition then while drinking your hot chocolate you were called by your mother leaving the cat,the chocolate and the house you hurried to the hospital.

Stressed ate taeyong. He's frustrated at the moment he wants to shout and cry his heart out.

The 8th song they made just got rejected. again.

It's the last draw and they can't participate in writing on the album anymore. Mark, xiaojun and taeil got injured while practicing,the new choreographer is a dick. A stubborn stylist doesn't follow anyone's instruction causing jaehyun to be called out because of his hair and the management wants them to do nothing. Some anti is making fun of his dog's death and a sasaeng is following him right now.

The house is where he rests,it's his favorite place .

Haju breaks free from Myeorin’s hug, he cups her face and their foreheads touch each other while sobbing.

He stared into Myeorin’s eyes and landed a soft peck at her temple.

“‘The beautiful journey of today can only begin when we learn to let go of yesterday.’ The person who taught me doesn't apply it to herself. Pabo. Go, you have no time left i heard he’s leaving”

Myeorin realizes Haju’s words and runs to chase the one that she truly loves. “Do Hyejeong you bitch you didn’t tell me you’re leaving”

The Set changes and moves to a different venue.

Myeorin stands outside of Hyejeong’s penthouse sobbing. He erratically rang the bell 30th time already and no one’s answering.

A Janitor saw Myeorin and confronted her.

“Miss Myeorin! What are you doing there?”

“Ahjussi *sniffs* have you seen Hyejong?”

“Ah! sir Hyejong? He just left a while ago carrying his personal belongings. Why?”

Myeorin just stared at Mr.Kang and suddenly wailed.

“Ah-Uh M-miss did I do something wrong?”

Myeorin just missed Hyejeong. Knowing him he wouldn’t come back ever again.

“What are you crying at you brat? You’re causing a scene in my property.”

“Hye-Hyejong!” Upon hearing that cold voice she stood up and faced Hyejeong with swollen, teary eyes, and a dripping nose.

“Sir Hyejong I promised I didn’t make her cry! She just suddenly weeps when I said-”

“It’s okay Mr. Kang I know. No need to clean here anymore. you can rest now. And you brat go inside.”

The two of them went inside. Hyejeong comfortably sat on his aesthetically white L-shaped sofa in front of his Floor to ceiling big windows. While Myeorin stands there dumbfounded.

“I-I thought you’re leaving…”

“Well yeah I am until Professor Shin said I have to cover his surgery tomorrow because his wife is in labor.”

“So you’re not leaving anymore?”

“I still am.”

Confused about Hyejeongs statement, creases were formed at her temples. She extended both of her hands trying to block the huge door. The lad just lowkey snickered at her actions.

“What do you mean?! No! nuh uh you won’t leave this place over my dead body.”

“”Why Won’t I leave?”

“Because I love you.”

Hyejong suddenly stopped sipping his drink and just stared at her with those big bunny-like eyes.

“What?”

“Do Hyejong Saranghae.”

He rose from the chair and met her body.

“You lose.”

“I don't careabout the bet anymoret. I love you.”

Hyejeong's mind left the earth. His lips unconsciously guided him to Myeorin’s plump, soft, pinkish lips. It tasted like pure heaven.

“CUT!”

Taeyong got startled at the director’s cue. No thoughts, mind empty, just watching his love of his life kissing his best friend. He knew it’s part of their work and he’s proud of the both of them but a part of him just aches knowing you’re single and doyoung single, you might fall for his kisses that used to be his.

“Y/N! Focus!”

“You okay?”

“Yeah just out of character.”

Y/N didn’t know the kissing scene and suggestive scenes are the ones that they'll be filming today. It’s supposed to be Next week! Now she felt odd knowing Taeyong’s here. She turned to Taeyong’s space, seeing him sending her a death glare while eating sweet potato chews.

The number of takes irked taeyong. Was he invited here just to suffer? Finally you guys nailed the scene. He thought it’s over yet there’s more to come.

Myeorin and Hyejeong were intoxicated with each other. A peck on the lips results in a very deep passionate one. Hyejong carried her in his arms, not letting go of her tasty lips together and they traveled towards the bedroom.

Taeyong stormed off the set. Right in front of my Sweet potato chews he said.

He Throws you a ‘you’re hiding it from me’ look while you just replied a simple wink.

You give me such soft vibes. There is a white kind of comforting feeling. Then there is a pastel pink kind of fluffy comforting feeling (if you understand what I mean lol) But you give a huge pink energy. So peaceful, respectful, soft, easygoing, innocent and lovely. If you were an aesthetic you would be cottage gore for me.

Then I revisit some of my favourite fics of yours, see the smuts and think that you are not so innocent after all.

But i think we think innocence in a wrong way. Just because someone likes smuts or sex doesn't mean they aren't innocent. It is more of a how you interact, act and behave with people. How often you have bad intentions etc. I obviously can't get all of this via just knowing you like this. But I get a vibe and, my guts are usually 99 percent true so yeah, they tell me you are a very pure human.

You work so hard, I am always amazed by it. I can never understand how can you write so many things. I can't read them all cause they are so many and I Procatinatinate and/or get overwhelmed, always. But I look at you still publishing new words so often. And I wonder how much self decipine you have. Cause yes one should be talented, have ideas but you have to be hard working too in order to do so many things. One can have plathora of ideas but can't do anything with them.

You are so organised, everything is in order all the links, tags etc. Makes it easy to navigate your blog.

You talk so gently, always and it makes me so soft. Just looking at you on my dash makes me soft for a moment, always.

You never bash anyone. Even tell people how the updates are coming along. And although I can see how it can be pressuring to talk about all this. It is kind of sweet that you do it at all. You must be strong willed if you are able to handle it without feeling very pressured.

You reply to everything that is send to you no matter how small it is. I know it takes so much time and energy and you absolutely don't have to do it, but you still do. And it warms my heart always. It just feels good, cause it makes it a little personal. Like we are friends and having a conversation on a shared interest. Plus it feels validating to me, tw : sad story I very rarely get the replies when I am talking with my family, they complain I don't talk, when I do they don't reply lol. So when you do it makes me so happy, a reason why this means so much to me lol.

You know a friend that you don't talk to but always have a soft spot for. You see them in the passing and smile, then move on. You are like that to me.

Lastly you have cat and are just such a good cat mom. I love cats so this is a huge plus for me lol. Makes me like you more.

I thought I should keep this small but it isn't, I am sorry it got so big. Might look like I am simping, which I am not (and even if I did, what's the problem in that, like is short to not like many people) but yeah I appreciate you a lot 😊😊

first of all, thank you so much for this sweet message. I'm so glad that you've somehow found comfort by visiting my blog. I know that my masterlist can be extensive (that's what you get when you've been running a blog for years) but don't worry, take your time with it.

in regards to my blog and writing, I have to say that I've found some kind of comfort in organising things. I feel this when I'm cleaning my room or organising things at work, for example, so you best believe that I had to bring that here in my blog too hahaha I know that people can get lost and confused when they come to someone's blog to find out more about their works or to even get to know the blogger/writer, for instance, and since I'm not someone who is always on my blog 24/7 I had to make sure that people can easily find their way around to find things if need be and even when I'm not active. I guess that habit helps a lot for me to go through my WIPs.

don't get me wrong, my brain is nothing but a jumbled mess of ideas most of the time, so I have to always be smart to choose my fight and decide which ones to focus on to make sure I can get things out instead of keeping them all buried in my head forever.

On responding to everyone, you can say that it's just a small effort of mine to make sure that everyone knows that I can see them and that I appreciate them all. I appreciate everyone who takes a moment of their busy lives to read my work, to share it, to give a like, or even comment on it. even if all they do is scream in the tags, they always make me so happy and I just want to make sure that everyone knows that.

and lastly, I also appreciate you a whole lot for sending this. I've noticed you around quite a lot, and while I may have a terrible memory when it comes to recognising people IRL, I do remember most of the people I come in contact with online. I always said that it only takes you saying hi to me for me to consider us as friends, and I meant that wholeheartedly.

“i can hold the world in my hands” extra notes i - vi:

My god... it’s been more than a month since I started writing for TWST, and this was what started it all. I hope I can keep writing, and not just for TWST for that matter! I have like... one non-TWST request sitting in my inbox and I’m really excited to work on it xD

*please do not read if you haven’t read “i can hold the world in my hands” ver i - vi.

This was actually inspired by a prompt of the same name in a different fandom. I’m pretty sure it was Fire Emblem, but I can’t seem to find or remember which blog posted about it. When I saw that nobody had written it for TWST yet, and because I was pretty impatient, I went full Thanos and thought: “fine I’ll do it myself.” xD

Whenever I type ‘hold’ it autocorrects to (ʘ‿ʘ)ノ✿. It’s one of those keyboard short cut things on my phone that somehow is also on my laptop lmao. So this series was pretty difficult to right because ‘hold’ kept changing to (ʘ‿ʘ)ノ✿

For ver i, the order of writing was something like Riddle, Leona, Azul, Malleus, Kalim, Idia and Vil.

Riddle was super easy for this prompt, honestly. I wanted it to be incredibly cute, and the best way to do that was to just... fluster him.

I tried to be very descriptive for this one. I wanted his surprise to be the highlight of this story. I especially enjoyed differentiating the red on Riddle’s face hahah--from pretty shade of red to furious HAHA.

Riddle strikes me as a super logical type. So he really won’t believe it’s possible until you show him how to hold the world. He also sees it as very high praise--that to think--you saw him as your world. Every time he thinks about it, he probably goes beet red.

When I wrote Leona’s part, I was still actually pretty iffy with him. I’ve noted before that he was far from my favourite hahah. However, just because that’s how I felt, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do my hardest to give him justice. Looking back on this piece, I appreciate it a lot because Leona’s definitely got a soft spot in my heart now--this piece being one such catalyst that made me appreciate him more.

One of my primary concerns with this piece, was not only ensuring that I did him justice, but also to make sure that none of my personal feelings affected how i wrote Leona. I like to think I was pretty successful--as I read it now, I wonder how I could’ve actually disliked Leona at any point. (I MEAN... that ending IS PRETTY THIRSTY. I wonder what I was thinking kFKFK)

Leona... is another logical one, and he’s not going to be patient with you. So he’s just going to immediately call out the impossibility of “holding the world in your hands.” However, when you do talk about what you actually mean... Leona would actually be moved. He loves how you acknowledge him--that you see him.

The Azul piece was written closely after I had watched the entirety of Octavinelle, and I could see all my thirst for the Octavinelle trio on it. That’s right, from the very beginning, I loved to enjoy hinting at Poly!Octavinelle. I’ll likely continue to hint it actually... unless requested otherwise.

Azul has one of the biggest praise kinks around (Riddle and Jamil have it too), and of course something as sweet as “i can hold the world in my hands” is going to set Azul off running for his octopus pot. Also, he cries very easily--like when he’s too happy and too sad. Azul’s story in this is definitely my favourite, because I just genuinely had such a good time working on it.

His reaction--his affection for you is likely to lead him to listen to what you have to say first before saying anything else. That’s why unlike Riddle and Leona, he actually heard you out instead of telling you immediately that what you’re saying “is impossible.”

This prompt and Kalim worked really well honestly. Kalim is just so much positivity, so writing his reaction to this was so easy, and it flowed so much quicker than I thought it would.

Kalim... honestly, he wrote himself hAHAH. It was easy to know that he’d immediately try to say it back to you--because he’s that sweet. Also, I quoted “A Whole New World” in this story. I wonder if anyone spotted it.

His reaction--well, it was obvious that he would believe you without a doubt. xD Sure he probably knows it’s not possible, so he’s more than willing to hear you out on it.

Because Vil was a model, I thought to approach this piece in a, “what can I say that he hasn’t heard yet?” I also wanted to approach this with a certain sensitivity--to Vil’s job as a model. The importance of respecting his craft, sort of thing.

Vil so far... has just been portrayed as being perfect. He’s good looking, he’s smart, he’s charismatic...so it’s obvious to everyone that there’s something deeper to him that we haven’t gotten to see yet. This makes it difficult to write him, because we haven’t gotten Pomefiore’s chapter yet.

Vil is someone who I figure would be smart enough to wonder if you’re speaking in a metaphorical or literal sense. I can’t remember where it’s mentioned, but if I remember correctly--Vil considers being intelligent a part of being beautiful too. (I’m so genuinely excited for Pomefiore’s chapter because I need to sink my hands into all that lore).

The reason I think Idia is much easier to write compared to Vil is because he exemplifies the introverted gamer trope so much. His personality is so clear cut, and loud.

Idia is also pretty fun to write, because of the way he regards the world, and how he sort of deals with everything around him.

For Idia’s reaction, I figured he’d tend to go for gamer terms, hence he thought you could code too lmao. He also tended to process things as if his life is a game, hence his thought process as he figured out what you were trying to say.

Malleus, because of both his age and prowess, strikes me as the type of person who could do every single type of magic with barely a blink. That’s why I thought to use that as the primary theme for his story.

I thought it would be adorable if you told Malleus, you could do something he couldn’t. Which, as you can see in Malleus’s thoughts--you are a powerful influence to him as well. You could perhaps, destroy the world, if you told Malleus it made you unhappy.

Malleus’s reaction... he’d humor you, but at the same time, he’d be the one to gently attempt to tell you it’s impossible. If he couldn’t do it, how could you? Of course... he’s quickly corrected.

Ver ii was written in the order it was arranged! Quite a rarity for me. So Deuce first, followed by Jade, Floyd then Silver. I consider version ii as the one stuffed with personal favourites hahah. Though... Deuce was actually written for my editor hahha.

I wanted Deuce’s piece to be both funny and cute since it was dedicated to our very hardworking editor hahaha.

Of course Deuce would not immediately understand what you were trying to say hahaha. Look... he thought the unfertilized eggs would turn into chicks.

The decision to make him say it back, was fueled by the fact that Deuce is an all around nice guy--he’d definitely want to return the favour.

The Jade one was really just written for my sake hAHHA. I wrote it because I was super smitten with Jade. I always wrote Jade as the type of lover who enjoyed to pamper the hell out of his partner. This could often make it feel like he’s the one doing everything in the relationship.

That became the primary way I wanted to approach this story, by once more--making it about the reader doing something for Jade, or essentially showing him how much he meant to the reader. I also wanted to find a way to make Jade blush.

Much like Azul, he’s willing to humor/hear you out first before saying anything else. He’s always interested in what you have to say, and he enjoys your more unpredictable opinions.

Honestly, who wouldn’t want to cuddle with Floyd? He (and Jade) probably give the best hugs.

My thoughts for this, was--when would be the best time to tell Floyd something like that? You wanted him calm enough to actually listen to you, so I figured it be when he was particularly sad and in need of cheering up.

On another note, I felt like Floyd isn’t really the type to listen nor care about you saying such a statement. You only really get all his attention when you explain to him what you mean.

I’m so biased to Octavinelle, I’m so sorry hAHAH. But honestly, it happened by complete accident that both their stories happened in the bedroom ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º)

Silver is... aesthetically very pleasing. However, there’s little we know of him so I also had a lot of difficulty writing for him. That being said, because he was a character who fell asleep pretty quickly, I of course thought it would be incredibly cute to have the “lap pillow” situation happen.

For this piece, I thought to talk about my worry for Silver. That he falls asleep just anywhere is a little scary. He fell asleep in a place as noisy as the courtyard... so I thought to express that worry through the reader for this piece.

Silver does, however, strike me as the type of person to always listen to you first before making a judgement. That’s why upon being told that you could hold the world, he’ll listen to you first.

Ver iii was just solely Jamil!

Jamil is another one of those characters who prefer to do the pampering instead of being pampered. So I thought to write a reader who was grateful, and wanted to show their appreciation to him.

For this piece, I also really wanted to fluster the hell out of Jamil. I mean, who doesn’t like making the calm, controlled one blush? It’s insanely cute.

While Jamil does say he doesn’t believe in it, he is always willing to hear you out.

Ver iv is Ruggie, Rook and Lilia! I think Lilia was written first, followed by Ruggie then Rook.

For Ruggie... I think I was a little stumped on how to write him. So I think I searched up how hyenas greeted each other. Apparently, they sniffed each other. So I thought it would be cute that Ruggie liked to scent you.

I made him get a little jealous because Floyd’s very affectionate--even if you aren’t in a relationship with him.

Ruggie--I thought would give you the benefit of the doubt--and think that there was actually magic in your world hahah. Until you tell him what you truly meant.

I’ve probably said this a billion times at this point, but god is Rook hard to write for hahah. Nevertheless, I keep writing him anyways because I enjoy the challenge.

I thought that Rook’s story becomes the opposite to Ruggie’s, wherein the reader is the one who wants to ensure that Rook is also looking/paying attention to them,

Rook wasn’t actually paying attention to you when you were saying “i can hold the world in my hands”, he only really does notice when you repeat it twice. He’s a guy I think you have to be firm with, if you want to get your point across.

Lilia is a character that I’m sure is pretty self-assured, and aware of what he wants. This means, that he’s actually a pretty huge tease to the other person in the relationship. This isn’t necessarily a romantic headcanon either. I can see him teasing his friends too.

I also highlighted immortality again, how Lilia is rarely surprised. That you are capable of surprising him means a lot to him actually.

Lilia, I think, is the type of person who is willing to lean new things from people younger than him. That’s why when you state you can hold the world, he’s willing to believe you.

Ver v is Trey!

Say it with me everyone, Trey is the sexiest student at NRC lmao. That smirk??? of his??? SENDS ME? It’s also why I made him smirk so much in this. Hey, I had to feed myself too.

How could I forget Trey? Trey is the third person in the “i will pamper the hell out of my lover” with Jade and Jamil. Trey would be another one who actually enjoys teasing the hell out of you too.

Trey is another one who won’t believe you, but will be willing to hear you out because you’re just so cute, and he wants to hear what you think.

Ver vi is Ace, Jack, Epel and Sebek. I think I wrote Ace, then Sebek, Jack with Epel being the last one.

Ace strikes me as a typical charismatic tease tbh. Like, he’s popular, and well known for being a troublemaker but everyone likes him anyways.

He’s not a person who blushes easily, so I think you really have to catch him unaware for him to blush.

He’s the type of person to say something mean, then immediately apologize and retract it when he sees that it hurts you. So he’s normally blunt, but then back tracks.

Jack isn’t a very affectionate person--neither is he the type to tell you how much he appreciates you. I believe it’s something you have to learn in the way he acts (aka, how hard he’s wagging his tail haha).

I think for a relationship with Jack, you have to really reach out to him because he doesn’t quite know how to reach back to you. Like he’ll certainly try, but he’s easily embarrassed... hence why I wrote him the way I did.

Jack, once you told him you could ‘hold the world’ was initially confused, but sees no reason to not believe you unless you prove otherwise... essentially xD

Epel... super difficult as always. I wanted to talk about how he wasn’t very happy with how he looked. How he wanted to change himself. It was a topic I was worried about, because if mishandled, it would just leave a sour taste in people’s mouths.

I wanted to make the reader someone who wanted Epel to love himself, to accept his beauty and to use it as a source of strength. I want Epel to be comfortable in his own skin, and be able to use it to his advantage. This was really inspired by Lilia’s SR Lab Coat episodes actually.

The reader is someone conscious about Epel’s struggles, and they want to get one thing across to Epel: that he can be beautiful and strong at the same time. Just because the may seem opposite, doesn’t mean they cannot coexist.

Sebek... I feel like I discussed how I felt about Sebek some time ago. Essentially... I think that Sebek is someone who, in a romantic relationship, has to make a choice. His devotion and single minded adoration to Malleus makes him challenging to write romantically for.

Unlike the other readers, Sebek’s uses the prompt to prove a point to him--that they chose him. Could he chose them too?

At the end, it’s not really about choosing one person, it’s more like--can Sebek understand the importance of being in a relationship? Can he understand that what you might share with him has value? Really, a question about his priorities.

I LOVED season 1 and 2 of the crown but found season 3 quite dull and difficult to get through. I'm enjoying season 4 (still havent finished bc I watch with my family and we're rarely all together) but I think that the earlier seasons were a lot better in my opinion

I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY! I replied to this the day you sent it but my laptop crashed and I lost everything I wrote so I put off till now!

All in all, the writing for the first two seasons were WAY better. My ranking is s2 > s1 > s4 >>>>> s3. In my opinion, season three was kind of terrible.

hahaha this is so so long.

In the first two seasons each episode’s mini story for the day was actually INTERESTING. Like, I loved where one episode was about the Mountbatten name and then the next was about the Great Smog! But, there was always an overarching plot and it always added up in the end. S1, S2 and S4 all had an overarching plot that worked! S1 was balancing family and the crown. S2 was balancing prime ministers and her husband. S4 was the downfall of Margaret Thatcher and Charles/Diana. S3 LITERALLY HAD NO PLOT! It was just a bunch of stories put together. The finale for season 3 was about the end of Margaret’s marriage! And although, it is an important event in the family’s history the fact that it was the finale episode????

Anyways, Season 3 genuinely just sucks. Season 4 is REALLY good. Yet, it still doesn’t leave as much of an affect on me like the earlier seasons. AND LIKE I KNOW BECAUSE I’VE REWATCHED THE FIRST THREE SEASONS SO MANY TIMES. I’ve only seen the fourth once because I’m too busy and it’s also too early for me to rewatch it. So, maybe my opinion of season 4 will change!

Now, because I am extra 😈😈 and crazy I will talk about every single episode IN ORDER. hehehehehehe. feel free to hate me

SEASON ONE

101 Wolferton Splash - 10/10 this episodes just sets everything up! we see how happy the marriage is and how loving king george is and we also see the FORSHADOWING!! we see lilibet and phillip making their life thinking they had time when we know they don’t and it’s just :( AN AMAZING PILOT EPISODE WITH AMAZING QUOTES!

102 Hyde Park Corner - 1000/10 this episode needs no explanation. the suspense and DRAMA right before lilibet finds out about her dad ALWAYS gets me!!

103 Windsor - 10/10 I hated this episode the first time I watched it! I didn’t understand the importance of her uncle and I didn’t understand the complexity behind the episode. I was 14 when I saw this episode for the first time! So, mind you I was quite ignorant. but, david basically represents the audience in the show for those who hate the monarchy and call them out on their hypocrisy. BUT DAVID IS A TERRIBLE PERSON! FUCK DAVID! i understand hating the monarchy and for him i know it was personal but the way he talks about his family in the letters UGHUGHGUHGUHGUHGUH this man is evil! there’s also the other story in the episode about the mountbatten name which is so brilliant!

104 Act of God - 15/10 this episode was boring on first watch but I WAS FOURTEEN! this episode took a break from the monarchy and concentrated on a british national horrific event THAT WAS IMPORTANT and i liked how it connected throughout the episode and all that and the CINEMATOGRAPHY OMGGGGG! anyways, something that pisses me off about this episode is that the crown kind of has the same kind of audience as euphoria! they only care about a hot actor or iconic character or the aesthetics AND THAT MAKES ME ANGRY! bc those are the ppl who call this episode the boring fog episode and the latest episode of euphoria a waste of time! they don’t understand the importance of what their watching. an event that killed hundreds by something that could have been avoided bc of science and for euphoria an ongoing pandemic of an ugly world and its affect on ppl not wanting to go on! IM SORRY THIS TURNED INTO A RANT but this episode is important in reminding audiences that disasters can be avoided but also once they happen anything can happen THIS WAS A SAD EPISODE OKAY AND I LOVED VENETIA SCOTT!

105 Smoke and Mirrors - 100/10 THE CORONATION EPISODE! Phillip tries to bring it to the common public and all the fighting between them just makes the coronation even more impactful when we watch it!

106 Gelignite - 8/10 I DESPISED MARGARET IN THE FIRST SEASON i saw her as a spoiled brat who wanted to marry her dad’s assistant! AND ALSO HOW DID SHE NOT REALIZE THERE WAS DEFINITE GROOMING INVOLVED! this episode is generally very good but margaret just pisses me off a lot! however, her not being able to marry peter boresend shouldn’t have been because of his divorcee status but bc he simply was a predator in anyone’s clear eyes IM SORRY IF YOU DISAGREE BUT SHE MET HIM SO YOUNG NO WAY THERE WAS NO GROOMING good episode but pissed off at margaret’s lack of critical thinking besides but I WANT HIMMMMM LIKE I WANT EVERYTHING

107 Scientia Potentia Est - 11/10 hated this when i first watched it! but now one of my favorites! lilibet feels dumb and needs a tutor! prime minister and wannabe prime minister have health problems and keep it from her! lilibet finds out by accident and they all get yelled at! I LOVE WHEN SHE YELLS AT MEN!

108 Pride & Joy - 10/10 this episode is just adds on to the overarching plot of the season: balancing the crown and family. margaret says disrespectful things to ppl who don’t deserve it in place of lilibet while she’s on the commonwealth tour fighting with her husband! then lilibet scorns margaret and we see an ugly papa loved me more argument! absolutely brilliant!

109 Assassins - 1000/10 hated it the first time but now I LOVE THIS EPISODE! it’s the painting and porchey episode and churchill leaving episode. It’s so so so good! i honestly have no words to describe the brilliance of this episode besides the acting done by almost the entire main cast CLAIRE WOW! MATT WOW! STEPHEN (THE PAINTER) WOW! JOHN WOW! HARRIET WOW! when we see the painting getting burned coincided w the downing st dinner GETS ME EVERYTIME I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH!

110 Gloriana - 100/10 the climactic fight between the crown and family! which will lilibet choose?? and the foreshadowing to suez MWAH!

SEASON TWO

201 Misadventure - 100/10 LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS EPISODE the cutesy lilibet and phillip until it all goes down WOW! and the suez stuff i love it all

202 A Company of Men - 100/10 this is where i think mike’s wife starts snooping or it’s the next episode BUT THIS IS WHERE SOMETHING BEGINS FOR SURE first of all it foreshadows the episode later in the season about philip’s childhood AND MATT’S ACTING!! it’s too good for words!

203 Lisbon - 100/10 i like it when they fight lol that’s the only way i know how to describe why i love it LILIBET WAS EXCITED TO SEE HIM AND SO WAS HE but then mike ruined it by being a disgraceful and dishonest man RUINING EVERYTHING

204 Beryl - 10/10 i start to like margaret bc i feel bad for her! she’s suffering she’s sad that her lil predator boyfriend is no longer w her but look who it is MATTHEW GOODE! he not suspicious at all but the writers are like here take 20 minutes of perfect chemistry between the actors!

205 Marionettes - 100/10 I LOVE THIS EPISODE basically someone who loves the monarchy insults the monarchy and lilibet actually goes to listen to them! w resistance of course but she still took everything he said to fix the monarchy !

206 Vergangenheit - 1000/10 one of my favorites! i didn’t know about david’s nazi past so when i watched this episode for the first time i was completely baffled! another episode where she yells at a man!!!! i’m always annoyed in this episode tho by all the talk from the priest about forgiveness bc im like why would u want to forgive david for being a nazi?? but i think it was intentional by the writers to show the importance of understanding forgiveness and the grounds for it! THIS EPISODE IS JUST PERFECT IM ANNOYED BC I DON’T WANT TO FORGIVE HIM

207 Matrimonium - 9/10 this episode is amazing BEFORE you’ve seen season three bc you root for margaret and tony! but, also throughout the episode there’s all that tony and family and his gf and bf stuff that you think is going to lead somewhere but doesn’t??? like what was the point of introducing his mother and his relationships if it was going nowhere and not even mentioned in season 3??? LIKE WHAT WAS THE POINT WHAT WAS THE REASON? but, also there’s lilibet and phillip fluff in this episode I LOVE

208 Dear Mrs. Kennedy - 10/10 this episode is fun as an american bc i think jackie kennedy and jfk are so idolized here in america it was so interesting to see this other pov! BUT I ALSO REALLY LOVED LILIBET DANCING W NKRUMAH! I THOUGHT IT WAS SO CUTE AND THE MARTIN CHARTERIS STUFF LEADING UP TO IT WAS SO FUNNY!

209 Paterfamilias - 100000/10 no words. IT WAS SO SMART TO PARALLEL PHILIP AND CHARLES this has a lower rating than the previous episode which makes no sense but only goes to prove the idolization of jackie and jfk

210 Mystery Man - 100/10 EVERYTHING FROM THE FIRST EPISODE IS ADDRESSED IN THIS EPISODE THE SEASON COMES FULL CIRCLE JUST LIKE SEASON ONE DID AND SEASON THREE DID NOT DO THAT AND SEASON FOUR DID IT TOO BUT NO WHERE AS GREATLY

SEASON THREE (worst season)

301 Olding - 5/10 weak starter but good for introducing olivia as lilibet and harold wilson and departing churchill BUT THAT’S IT! like the whole spy thing just went bleh LIKE IT HAD POTENTIAL but it needed early seasons writing not third season writing techniques TOBIAS DID A GREAT JOB THO IN THIS EPISODE HE WAS A GREAT RECAST FOR PHILIP

302 Margaretology - 6/10 okay. just okay. margaret kind of bratty but you actually feel bad for her then she gets bratty again and then you feel bad for her again and the scenarios in the episode just didn’t feel real like the whole lyndon b johnson was so jealous of jfk that he was rude to the queen so they sent margaret JUST DIDN’T MAKE SENSE like i know this show is fictional but the fiction tends to be believable until i research the episode afterwards BUT FOR THIS it just didn’t make sense

303 Aberfan - 1000/10 ONE OF THE GOOD EPISODES OF THE SEASON! those first fifteenish minutes??? TEARS! i never knew about aberfan until this episode and seeing this episode made me cry!

304 Bubbikins - 10000/10 THIS EPISODE IS TECHNICALLY NOT AS GOOD AS THE ABERFAN EPISODE BUT THIS IS A PERSONAL PREFERENCE we meet anne and alice in this episode AND I LOVE BOTH OF THEM (erinsdoherty is my current url!) this episode is so sad and sweet at the same time and loving bc i’m a sucker for philip’s back story!

305 Coup - 8/10 this had potential I FEEL LIKE IF THEY WROTE THIS EPISODE DIFFERENTLY LIKE HOW THEY WROTE ONE OF THE SUEZ EPISODE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER the fact that it all went to nothing and nothing basically happened WHAT WAS THE POINT

306 Tywysog Cymru - 1000/10 this episode made me like charles! what a horrendous statement! but, like i thought his relationship w his tutor was so heartwarming and he actually seemed to care and all that and it just all in all MADE ME HAPPY like this episode isn’t sad it’s a happy episode until the last scene w lilibet BUT YEA they gave us this one good episode until we hate him which i appreciate makes the story telling better

LIKE WHO WROTE THIS THEY WERE DOING CRACK WHILE WRITING THIS EPISODE and i felt NOTHING during the lilibet and david goodbye WHACK EPISODE TERRIBLE JUST BAD TERRIBLE

ALAS, what i would like to say is that i feel that season 4 shouldn’t have been so diana centric! it was diana from the beginning of the season to the end! not, that i don’t love the whole diana story but it was dragged and i think she should have been introduced around the third/fourth episode of this season the same way tony was in season two! camilla should have arrived at the beginning of season 4 so that the intensity between camilla, charles and diana was more believable! if we season three wasn’t so spread out they could have had more brilliant episode.

I nearly always follow recipes exactly. My mum is like oh cook this for about 7 minutes? Yeah sure. I’ll take a wild guess. I’m like they say exactly 7 minutes so I’ll set a timer for 7 minutes and start a stopwatch so if it does seem to need more than 7 I can keep an eye on the extra time and be aware of exactly how long it takes me for next time. Other people are like oh let's see I have [lists 5-10 things in their fridge], hmm...oh I know what I could make with that! I’m like I have beans in my freezer because one recipe required them and no other recipes I know how to make do so what am I supposed to do with these now,,, this is stressful,,, basically I barely know how to cook and recipes are the only things saving me in that area. That is entirely fair. Except for the fuck duck, and murder is not the word you want surely, situations, it’s pretty helpful.

yes! I am a fellow dirt eater! We had a sandpit at home (that’s a little bold. It was a large plastic shell that my parents filled with sand. technically a sandpit. but not fancy sdflsdkfsdf) but I don’t think I ever tried to eat it. Oh I’m absolutely terrible even by most people’s standards around here when it comes to cold and hot temperatures. I remember sitting in the sun in my school shirt and school jersey in summer on a blazing day like it’s a bit chilly, isn’t it? Meanwhile my friends were in the shade absolutely dying from the heat. Likewise in winter I’d be shivering, teeth chattering, dying with my long sleeve thermal, my school shirt, my school jersey, my school jacket, my longs, warm socks and sneakers and gloves and school scarf while ppl would be walking around in a shirt and shorts like it’s a bit warm this winter huh? my body didn’t learn how to thermoregulate and it shows. But yeah NZ does also have a reputation for shittily insulated buildings and such. It shows. skhdfsfs if it’s not common use maybe don’t say can i have a hotty to someone without context but otherwise go ahead lmao. it’s a fun shortened version.

I was typically a very good saver, to the point where my extended family started gifting me gift cards and vouchers for Christmas and my birthday because if they just gave me money I’d put it in my bank account to save towards uni once I hit like, 12 years old. Which I think was a smart move. But apparently, I’m supposed to buy myself ‘something nice’ with it. I think I’m still an okay saver but I’m not as strict anymore. I’m aware of how much I can spare and I’m not just like you can never get anything for yourself ever, so I do get lil things for myself sometimes. oooo yay! At least you know what I mean. But yes. They were the gold mine for lollies. Absolutely terrific stores. My mum would be like hey lindsey how about you order? And I’d be like mother, I am 7 years old and I have an undiagnosed anxiety disorder everyone assumes is child shyness why would you think I would want to do that. Instead I will whisper my choices to you. After therapy tho I felt pretty rad for picking my own lollies by myself. I was like 13 at that point but sdfkjhsdf listen I got there in the end.
