he treats you a bubble tea, you had a great time talking to him coz he's jolly and funny you two became friends since then. after meeting each other three consecutive times it ended.

and you thought that's it, but after few months he suddenly messaged that you should watch him play and that's another beginning for the both of you.

KUROO

You actually knew each other you were classmates before.

you downloaded a dating app and you matched up with someone, the person started with a 'hi' new to the app you thought it's just a bot so you replied 'kachow kachow' the person replied again.

Anonymous: Yo, you okay..? Am I paired up with a child?

You: Oh my god! No, I'm sorry I thought you were a bot..

Anonymous: Nah, I'm a hard top.

You: Woah...Okay..?

After conversing with the person he informed you that he's also from Nekoma, thrilled by the coincidences he asked you if it's okay to meet, you're also curious and you two decided to meet up.

You were shocked to see Tetsuro Kuroo. But since you already knew each other that meet-up isn't awkward and uncomfortable.

OIKAWA

You're already his ex, your relationship with him lasted nearly six months, you broke up with him because you want him to concentrate on volleyball.

You still think that he's committed and passionate about volleyball.

Your friends invited you to watch a volleyball match. And you've agreed since you were curious how Tooru's doing. The game ended and you left with your friends you're happy since he's doing good.

Iwaizumi told Oikawa that you watched the game and Oikawa messaged you. You talked about your relationship and you joked that you still want him, He said, "I'm interested in you again". But the fact is his thoughts and feelings never wavered even after the breakup. You never take your joke back because deep down inside, you know your affection for him has never disappeared.

After a long day of shouting orders and briefing the first years, Oikawa finally succumbed to the fatigue eating his body and the pounding in his head since the late afternoon.

After all, being captain wasn't easy. He's still getting used to supervising the group and stepping forward when necessary. Although, nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing his teammates improve and be within their element. To look them in the eyes and see the reflection of trust in them.

None of it, however, compares to the same trust reflected in your eyes as he lays himself on your chest. He hums as you run your fingers through his hair and kiss his brow, whispering, "Rest well, darling. You deserve it."

Despite the stress of the upcoming seasons and the raging doubts in his mind, he finds solace in your presence and in your gentle hands as they trace the exhaustion away.

I’ll do it all again, Oikawa says to himself. Knowing that at the end of the day, he’s in the reprieve of your always-awaiting arms.

Part I: Daichi, Oikawa and Kuroo

Haikyuu x reader captains + confessions

Ft. Bokuto, Ushijima and Kita

Bokuto Kōtaro

If you want to confess, you're going to shut him up first, because he's always pumped and wants to talk about nothing at everything

You can tell him or write him a letter, if it's a letter, he will go to find you real quick, because he wants to make sure you really like him like you said on the letter

When he realises he likes you, he would show off more

If you show up at any of his games he would smile at you every time he spikes

When he gets in his emo mode Akaashi will look at you with pleading eyes to do something

Those times you have to cheer louder and Bokuto will do his best on a blink

He has way too many ideas for confessing, like this guy has plans but they all get discarded soon as he sees you

Whenever he sees you his mind shuts down, he only can smile like a love struck puppy

So maybe he would confess on the heat of the moment

When I say the heat of the moment, I meant he would be on the court after winning

And he will run towards whenever you're sitting and yell at you how much he likes you

Probably will ask you to be his s/o right there

Ushijima Wakatoshi

If you want to confess... You have some huge ovaries honey, anyone would be intimidated by his sole presence

He's a forward and simple person, he probably expects the same o his s/o

As for him, I think he won't even notice he has a crush on you

I'm pretty sure Satori is the one who would point it out

They would be chilling on his dorm, Satori talking about mangas or some movie when you came into the topic

The redhead has his suspicions at first, but when he said you were too beautiful to be single saw Wakatoshi eyes widen

Obviously Satori made his mission to be a certified wingman

After practice Satori told you he wanted to go to see a movie, being friends of course you accepted

But when you got to the scheduled spot you only saw Ushijima after you both start to talk and waited for a while, Ushijima got a text from Satori, he won't be coming

He looked at you while his heart raced a bit and he told you his friend won't show up

After the movie he grabs your hands softly before asking if you're interested on being his s/o

This took you by surprise of course, but he asks in such tender and sounds so truthful... Just kiss him

Kita Shinsuke

If you want to confess to this boy can be via letter or telling him however I got news for you

He already knows you like him, he's waiting patiently for you to voice your feelings

As for him, he realises he likes you when he starts to think about you at random times

He would be focused on something, maybe cleaning or practicing and the image of your smile cames to his mind

After a few days he's conflicted, he shouldn't be nervous around you but it's the way you wave at him a simple 'hello' that gets his heart pump faster

He knows he likes you but his train of thought stops when he sees you

It's like his problems melt away and he's grateful how you handle the twins

He would drop hints about his feelings and will watch your reactions carefully before anything

I have the feeling he would be more analytical about how you interact with him if his feeling insecure

He might give you a letter even if he isn't afraid to confess, but he thinks is more romantic because he's not very expressive

If, and I mean IF he confesses telling you his feelings his words are soft and very polite

He won't ask you to be his immediately, but he would ask if you want to date

It was the same thing every time, and it was always him. You’d never felt like this with anyone else, so drawn to them and addicted the way you were to him. You’d never had such a hard time moving on, leaving. But everything was different with him.

You swore to yourself that it would never happen again. You swore to yourself that it was over, that you were done with him. So why were you in this situation again? Rubbing the sleep out of your eyes and pulling yourself out of bed at such an absurd hour to open the door for him? Why was it so hard for you to ignore him, move on from him, like you had all the rest? You couldn’t understand it.

“What are you doing here?” you asked, leaning against the door frame, and blocking the inside of your apartment from his view. The cold air from outside bit at your exposed skin, making you shiver under your pajamas and curl into yourself.

“I missed you...” He answered, looking away to avoid your hard eyes. You scoffed, you couldn’t do this again with him, you didn’t have the time or the energy and not nearly enough tears left in you. You turned away, ready to close the door and collapse back into your bed. This time would be different, this time you wouldn’t let him real you back in. This time you’d break the god-awful cycle. This time you really were over. This time you’d tell him no.

But his hand slipped in between the door before you could close it, holding it open and forcing you to look back at him, “Please, just listen to me at least,” You looked up at him, eyes meeting his pleading gaze and all the resolve in you crumbled.

“Okay,” you whispered. And you found yourself agreeing, opening the door for him and letting him in, letting him real you back in the way you had told yourself you wouldn’t. Same as always.

Once he was inside, he opened his mouth but you beat him to it, “I can't do this again with you.” Your voice sounded small, barley over a whisper, shaking as you spoke and your eyes stung with traitorous tears. He sucked in a sharp breath.

“It’ll be different this time, better, I’ll be better. I swear.” You could feel his words pulling you into the eye of the storm. Back into the cycle of pain that you wanted so badly to leave behind, and move on from, but you always came back to him. You wanted to yell at yourself for the next words that left your mouth.

Your gaze flitted up to him, “Really?” he nodded, “you promise?” he nodded again, but you knew he was lying. He was always lying, since the minute he stepped into your life.

He reached out taking your hand in his waiting for your answer. Letting you think even when you both knew what it would be. You should shove him out that door right now, the reasonable voice in your head told you, make him leave and end this.

Instead you swallowed harshly, “Okay,” you whispered

“Okay.”

And then he was pulling you into him, hands letting go of your own to cup your face and bring your lips to his and all your worry's seemed to melt away the way only he could make them. You let the tears fall as you kissed him, and then let him wipe them away, reassure you all over again that it would be different, that he changed, that he would be better. You let him lie through his teeth as he pushed you against your bed and kissed down your neck.

And then, you let yourself believe them.

If you want to confess by dropping hints about you liking him... Good luck, he's oblivious, we all saw the captain of the female volleyball team struggling with this guy

My girl you gotta be straight forward and tell him you like him right in front of his face, because I'm pretty sure if you write him a letter, this dumbass will think is a joke or something

As for him, well, he knows he likes you, very much in fact but is nervous to say anything

You bring him some calmness after his practices, some, because every time he's around you his heart races whenever you smile or laugh

I think he's the kind who confesses by accident

You both would be walking at home, talking about random stuff

When he voices his worries about incoming games, you bump your shoulder against his telling a quote from a movie or something to cheer him up

Out of instinct he wraps his arm around your waist pulling you against his chest

If you want to confess, the line ends up somewhere, so either you need to be patient or straight forward

You need to tell him, because he has too many fan letters and I think he loses them, he's a busy captain

As for him, local shonen protagonist needs everything to be perfect
