OK THIS IS THE LAST BUZZFEED UNSOLVED RELATED HEADCANON SET I PROMISE

hinata and kageyama:

90% of the show is them yelling and nobody watches it with earphones on

both of them believe in ghosts but that doesn't mean they want to see one

hinata will literally go to the bathroom five times before going to the spooky house and kageyama gets mad at him for it but there is Fear in his eyes

producer: 'were you scared?'

kageyama: 'pfft, no'

cameraman: *points camera down to show that kageyama's legs are shaking*

they also bring a shit ton of food with them when they stay the night at a place and they'll deadass be eating while talking about the history of the place

‘this house *crunch crunch* was built in *crunch crunch* 1972'

the producers tell them to stop bringing snacks but fans of the show love it

sometimes they'll shoot a mini mukbang video

hinata: *looking up how to do a seance on wikihow* it says we gotta offer some food for the spirit

kageyama: *spills the doritos he was eating on the table

tsukishima and yamaguchi

pretty much a ryan and shane duo right here

yamaguchi: we'll be visiting this place as part of our ongoing investigation on the question, are ghosts real?

tsukishima: *shakes head*

yamaguchi just wants to see the look of fear in tsukishima’s eyes at least once

yamaguchi: *hears a random thump sound* fUCk tSuKkI a gHoSt!!!

tsukishima: *sees a chair being tossed across the room* huh, the wind is pretty strong today

he likes to stick his head into attics to scare yamaguchi

yamaguchi always carries a water gun full of holy water

yamaguchi: i have holy water with me and i'm not afraid to use it! but i'm also sorry you had to die such a horrible death i hope you find peace soon

tsukishima: *walks into a basement that is supposedly a portal to hell* fuckin’ take me already

daichi started out being afraid of almost every place he had to walk into but after having to deal with the chaotic mess that is suga for an entire season, he no longer Feels Fear

this is because suga will deadass film a tiktok dance video no matter where he is

daichi: suga, someone was literally axe-murdered there

suga: *dancing along to ‘I’m a Savage’ or whatever that tiktok song is called*

daichi: *at cameraman* do you see what i have to deal with every day?’

suga is only genuinely scared by ghosts when his followers point out that a ghost was caught on camera in one of his tiktok videos

suga: *watching the video*

that was the end of suga’s tiktok career

tanaka and nishinoya:

another bunch of loud bois but they are much louder than kageyama and hinata

they’re very much into proving the existence of cryptids and are most known for that episode they spent hunting bigfoot by dressing up to look like bigfoot

tanaka: ‘you know that thing they do in cartoons where they stack on top of each other under a coat so they look like just one big guy?’

nishinoya: ‘ryuu i love you so fucking much’

other guy there who is also trying to catch bigfoot: oMg ItS bIgFooT *takes picture with the blurriest camera he could find*

both of them are very committed in their investigation of the supernatural and they’re very unconventional approaches

nishinoya: *lying on the ground in a creepy basement* EAT MY HEART DEMONS! WE’LL PUT THE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE!

tanaka: *takes out a spirit board* *spells out O-M-A-E W-A M-O S-H-I-N-D-E-I-R-U*

ghost: *spells out N-A-N-I*

tanaka and nishinoya: *screaming*

kuroo and kenma:

kuroo deadass flirts with any ghost or demon they encounter and kenma would sleep over in a haunted asylum for ten bucks

kuroo: *sidles up to the infamous annabelle doll* hey there little lady, what’s a pretty thing like you doing in a locked, glass case with a ‘don’t touch’ sign like this?

kenma: kuroo, there’s a demon inside her

kuroo: well, i’m a bit of a demon myself

kenma: she attempted to choke a guy in his sleep

kuroo: oooh, choking. i can get behind that...

kenma: *looks at camera*

the demon in annabelle: d-daddy??

“kuroo flirting with demons and kenma looking at the camera for 5 minutes”

kuroo’s actually a huge fucking scaredy cat and kenma secretly tries to push him over the edge

kenma: *plays computer-generated screams of the damned on his phone*

kuroo: WHAT WAS THAT?

kenma: ...I didn’t hear anything *looks at the camera as if he was on the office and plays the sound again*

kuroo: i was too scared to close my eyes last night

kenma: i was actually able to catch a bunch of pokemon last night. who knew the winchester mansion is such a hotspot

producer: did you catch any evidence of ghosts?

kenma: ...i caught a gastly

bokuto and akaashi:

bokuto is a die-hard mothman fan and akaashi is emotionally involved in proving that ghosts exist he will stop at nothing

akaashi: all of the evidence on the shadow figures and orbs spotted in this place can only suggest one thing...

bokuto: mothman did it

akaashi: no

bokuto: yes

akaashi: mothman is literally five states away

bokuto: he has wings

during their individual investigations, akaashi has already foreseen how bokuto is going to react

producer: it’s been quiet for a while. do you think bokuto’s no longer scared?

akaashi: oh no. he should be screaming right about now...

bokuto, inside the haunted house: *screams and waves his flashlight around*

akaashi: and then he’s gonna call for help

bokuto: AKAAAAAASHIIIIIIIIII

*few hours later*

bokuto: i saw my life flash before my eyes in there

akaashi: *muttering incoherently near his ‘evidence wall’ full of blurry pictures and red string*

bokuto: i must’ve stared into the abyss at one point

akaashi: this place is fucking haunted. can i go back? it’s for sale right?

ushijima and tendou:

ushijima’s knowledge of ghosts is based on hollywood movies and tendou has exorcised places just by vibing

ushijima: *brings out a pottery wheel* if there are any ghosts in here, you know what to do

he’s actually never watched Ghost he just knows That One Scene

tendou: *naruto-running through the goatman bridge with a go-pro strapped to his head* IT’S MY BRIDGE GOATMAN, IT’S MY BRIDGE!!!

the Goatman Himself: i’ve never felt so fucking scared in my entire fucking life

ushijima believes that chanting in latin will Summon the Ghosts and tendou takes full advantage of that

tendou: *handing ushijima a slip of paper* here, apparently this will summon a full-bodied apparition

ushijima: thanks *begins chanting*

producer, interviewing tendou to the side: okay, what did you make him read this time?

tendou: i typed out ‘let me eat your ass’ in latin on google translate and went from there

cameraman: *zooms in on ushijima chanting*

the ghost haunting the castle: *is confused in French*

in the end neither of them get evidence on ghosts

ushijima: well, we'll have better luck next time

tendou: maybe even revisit this place ?

the ghosts: i know i'm dead but this is the first time i've been scared for my life

hey! how did you grow your account?

hi!! okay so i’m gonna try my best to answer this but in all honestly i really don’t know. i made this account expecting it to be mediocre at best because it’s been quite a break since i last wrote fanfic so i didn’t expect this. i’ll try and give you the best advice tho!!

okay first for new accounts you need to show up in tags which is hard. @tetsuwhore told me that usually your content starts showing up when you post/reblog 100 times, like 100 posts and follow 100 accounts so i definitely tried to do that asap. also don’t get motivated if it seems like nobody is reading your work- sometimes it takes a bit of time to pick up but it definitely will!!!

use lots of tags- like haikyuu fic, haikyuu headcanons, character x reader etc. just fill them up

post regularly- i think i post pretty much everyday which can be a lot so you don’t need to do that much. as long as you have a regular posting schedule i think that helps?

be kind and interactive- i waffle loads in my replies but that’s because i like interacting with my followers and you want to show your blog is a welcoming space! idk if this is just me but i get ‘vibes’?? from writers- if a writer’s replies to their anons are kinda rude or short/abrupt/careless it kinda puts me off them? bc like it costs nothing to just treat someone nice

make your account pretty and organised- the organised bit is more important tbh but make a masterlist or navigation and pin it to your blog or put it in your description? or tag your work properly so people can find your work easily- i used to read a lot of hq content for about a month before i started writing and the blogs i liked and visited often were organised and generally had nice themes. if a blog was messy or it was hard to find their work i would literally just be like 👀imma head out now

have a decent standard to your writing- okay this is going to sound harsh but your writing needs to be good to a certain degree i guess? you don’t have to be amazing or accurate cause you can write how you want (i don’t use caps for example lol) but make sure your spelling and grammar is correct at least because for me that puts me off lol

be original!! since i started my fuck marry kill event my followings started to grow super quick because it was something original and specific to my blog so try to come up with your own niche! @ceo-of-daichi is known for her daichi content, @scorpiosanssexy is known for her astrology, @super-noya writes amazing song fics and has an amazing folklore series and i noticed @dinosaurtsukki for her super cool buzzfeed unsolved au. nobody wants to read the same hcs or fics they’ve read from every other author lol, they want to see what makes you stand out!

which makes me also say dont plagiarise or do anything that’ll make enemies lol. nothing makes you lose popularity quicker than a bad rep. so just be good to people on here and don’t do anything wrong like plagiarise or hate on people etc

be patient- sometimes it’ll take time before things pick up but you’ll never grow if you quit too quickly. just keep at it- whether there’s 10 people or 100 people who enjoy your work it’s worth it and of course the main thing is that you enjoy it!

make friends!! this is less specific to growing your account but probably helps? haikyuu writing side of tumblr is filled with such kind lovely people and it really is a community!! so many writers have discord servers which they’d be happy for you to join so i definitely suggest joining any that come along your way. also interact with your mutuals!! send them cute messages, play tag games or just start a conversation with them! but don’t just make friends with writers for the sake of using them to grow your account that’s a bit mean :((

akaashi: in this episode of buzzfeed unsolved–

bokuto: *vibrating with excitement* MOTHMAN!! WE’RE GOING TO MOTHMAN CITY!!

akaashi: …yes. also, it’s called Point Pleasant, West Virginia

bokuto: Mothman City

akaashi: *stares at camera*

• akaashi isn’t much of a fan of a cryptids but he delivers a flawless intro anyway about the first mothman sighting with bokuto interjecting at certain points

akaashi: i’m just wondering,, why the name mothman?

bokuto: it’s a moth combined with a man. mothman

akaashi: but should we assume their gender?? what if they you know, they prefer to be called mothwoman? or moth-person?

akaashi: and here, we have the original transcripts of the first mothman sighting by the four friends – *stares into the distance*

cameraman: *turns around and gets a shot of bokuto putting on mothman-themed boxers over his jeans*

bokuto: there wasn’t a dressing room and i wanted to wear them now

and then they take a million pictures with the mothman statue

bokuto tries to climb the statue so it looks like mothman’s carrying him but a guard tells him off

akaashi glanced at mothman’s ass and snapped a pic of it

they can’t end their day without having some mothman pizza

yes its a thing it was in the buzzfeed unsolved episode and it looks ePIC

bokuto practically cries at the sight it looks so beautiful

akaashi’s lowkey like ‘why tf does the pizza look like this’but he doesn’t have the heart to tell bokuto

finally they sleep at a nearby hotel that has a mothman poster and mothman-themed bedsheets (which akaashi didn’t know about beforehand but he suspected as much from bokuto)

akaashi: *staring at the mothman poster right in front of his bed* it’s… staring at my soul

bokuto: mothman call, take 86: eeeEEEeEEEEeEEEE

the next day they finally get down to Looking for Mothman

*cut back to the interview room*

akaashi: for this episode, bokuto and i have made a bet on who can get the best evidence of mothman’s existence. if i win, we’re leaving Point Pleasant the next day

bokuto: and if i win we’re staying one more day!

akaashi: are you sure you want to go through with this bet?

bokuto: i’ll have you know, akaashi, i have a killer strategy *raises eyebrows at camera*

*back to mothman city*

akaashi: *standing in front of a clearing in the forest* this is where the first mothman sighting was. my plan is to set up motion cameras all around the space and then use radiowave frequency on a satellite to lure him out

*insert clip of akaashi setting up cameras and him cursing when one of them falls over*

bokuto shows up later at night wearing a trenchcoat and akaashi proudly shows him his set-up

akaashi: with my motion camera set-up i’ll definitely get some evidence on mothman’s existence.

bokuto: *takes off trenchcoat to reveal his outfit: fishnet stockings, a skirt, a crop top, really huge moth wings made out of paper, and a fuzzy antenna headband* I’M GOING TO SEDUCE MOTHMAN

akaashi: …

bokuto: because i dressed up as mothwoman

akaashi: …

bokuto: also i made my mothman call recordings into a CD and i’m blasting it from a boombox

akaashi: … a bit heteronormative but ok

*later on*

akaashi, watching bokuto shaking glowsticks and attaching them to himself: i sure hope this doesn’t awaken anything in me

it does

akaashi goes first by playing his radiowave frequency thingy but the only thing it attracts is a deer and some teenagers smoking fUnny cIgaRettes thinking it was mothman

and then it’s bokuto’s turn

bokuto: *stands in the middle of a clearing with his glowsticks and mothwoman costume and starts playing his mothman calls on his boombox*

akaashi: *watching from afar* this isn’t going to do any– oH MY GOD

his motion cameras pick something up and find a fLYING SHAPE IN THE SKY

Actual Mothman: eeeeeEEeeeEEEEEeeeee

Bokuto: OH MY GOD ITS MOTHMAN ITS MOTHMAN!

akaashi: *surprised pikachu face*

Bokuto: MOTHMAN I’VE LOVED YOU SINCE I WAS A KID. I WROTE YOU 365 LETTERS. I WROTE YOU EVERY DAY FOR A YEAR

Actual Mothman: eeeeeEEEeeEEEeE *flies away*

*the next day*

bokuto, looking out of a window dramatically: not many people will say that they got full, definitive proof that mothman exists. but, i was that man who caught that last night

akaashi: *lying in bed, clearly in a crisis* bokuto-san just dressed up as mothwoman and mothman came… bokuto-san just dressed up as mothwoman and mothman came

bokuto: i think we finally broke him

it takes five hours for akaashi to Accept Everything and they celebrate with even more mothman pizza and yes, staying in Mothman City for one more day

*back in the interview room for the closing remarks*

akaashi: we came to Point Pleasant to gather evidence on whether or not Mothman exists, and yes he fucking does exist and if anyone says no they can fight bokuto’s fishnet-stockinged legs

bokuto: yEAH

akaashi makes bokuto save that mothwoman costume for…purposes

Bokuto on the other hand, feels the whole world seize and blur when he comes into view, in the best possible meaning. And yes, he's been waiting for the right time to tell him exactly so.

Or the one where Bokuto and Akaashi work in Buzzfeed and do an unsolved episode together for the first time. The catch is; there isn't as much ghoul busting as there are pinings and awfully timed misunderstandings.
