I just love the idea of Sakura (and other Naruto characters) being in Haikyuu and seeing how they’d interact!
And for this scene Olive drew, it’s for a fic I’ll eventually write one day, where Sakura and Kuroo are childhood bffs until she moves away to Miyagi, and they reconnect years later when she finds herself as the one of the volleyball managers for Karasuno. And of course, realize their feelings run far deeper than friendship.

daichi: 1,962 words
00. in this universe, you meet on the last day of summer vacation, across an entire baseball field of untapped potential — him with his friends, you by yourself, but never alone. the volleyball they’re tossing around bumps up against your leg. you look up, squinting against the fierce summer sunlight, pouring down over his back like liquid gold, and for a second, you can’t see his face, only the shape of him — wide shoulders and short hair and —
“hey, sorry —”
you blink, looking down at the brightly covered ball still nestled against your leg. and when you next look up, you find his eyes instead.
someone once said that there are some infinities that are bigger than other infinities.
neither of you knew really what that meant. until now.
“no, it’s okay — here, your ball.”
“ah. thanks. uhm —”
“uh —”
you speak at the same time as you both reach for the ball. your fingers brush; the world pauses, waits, holds its breath.
“daiiichiiii! c’mon! we’re waiting for you!”
he jerks up, blinking as if pulling himself out of a daydream. he looks behind him to his waving friends. when he looks back at you, you’re already turning back to your book, the pages lined and dogearred. something inside him cracks, ever so slightly, as he takes a step back, and then two, clears his throat and dips his head.
“thanks again.”
you chance him another glance as he jogs back to his friends. you look down half a second before he looks back at you.
01. in another universe, you meet over a spilled coffee, the autumn leaves falling around you both, the air just chilly enough to paint your breaths in silvery white, spiraling up towards a gunmetal sky.
“shit — sorry — oh…”
you look up first, sting of the hot coffee still nipping at your fingertips, him reaching out to hand you a wad of crumpled tissue before he realizes and jerks back, his cheeks flushing as he fumbles to grab a fresh piece. you feel the laughter bubbling out of you like freshly poured champagne.
“it’s okay — you can just buy me another.”
it takes him a second to process, and by the time he does, someone else has scoffed and stepped around you both up to the counter to place their order.
“oh. sure, yeah — but i’ve — well —” he glances down at his watch. you feel your heart sink inside you, ever so slightly.
“no, it’s fine. go, i can just get it myself —”
“no! no —” his voice is too loud, making a few people jump as they frown and look over, disapproving and uncertain of the two bumbling, awkward teenagers holding up the line in the middle of the coffee shop.
“please,” he says, “let me buy you another.”
you blush and nod, even as his phone buzzes with some kind of message. he quickly taps out a reply before shoving the phone back into his pocket and joining you.
“yeah, alright.”
02. in another universe, you grow up together, screaming and laughing and crying together, spending every birthday at each other’s house, every win and loss by each other’s side.
“ugh! this is so stupid! why can’t i just ask him out?!” you shove your face into daichi’s pillow, thumping your legs against his bed. it smells like him, you think, this whole place does. but then again, it kind of smells like you too.
daichi sighs, glancing at you from over your problem set, his mechanical pencil poised over the multiple choice answers.
question 4 — if a tree falls in the middle of a forest (if a boy like a girl and never tells), does the falling tree still make a sound? (does the boy still get his heart broken?)
“do you want me to do it for you?”
you turn your head to stare at him, your heart right on the tip of your tongue — what if you asked me out instead?
“no.”
daichi looks back at the problem set, “then, what are you gonna do?”
you lick your lips, “can i… practice?”
“practice what?”
“asking him out.”
daichi slowly circles option d (all of the above) before putting his pencil down and turning to face you.
“sure. why not.”
you grin as hop down onto the floor of his bedroom, the pair of you facing each other. you take a long breath and open your mouth.
03. in another universe, you are both heartbroken people.
“he wasn’t ready.”
“she had… someone else.”
you purse your lips, your cheeks pink from the three shots of shochu you’d just had. outside, the winter storm shows no signs of stopping. beside you, daichi swirls around his second glass of whiskey.
“well, she was an idiot.” you turn to grin at him, your body feeling warm and loose and ready.
he turns to you with glazed over eyes and cold-bitten lips and you feel yourself falling. not for the first time.
“well, he was too.”
the bartender refills both your drinks and you raise your glasses. the shochu stings; the whiskey burns. when you both set down your empty glasses, you cock your head at him and he flashes you a lopsided smile.
“uhm…” he bites his lips, still a bit too shy. you fight the urge to lean forward and bite it for him.
you flash him your most charming smile, “wanna get outta here?”
daichi hiccups, his eyes going wide. a second later, he slams down a bill on the counter and pulls you to him.
“y-yeah. let’s get outta here.”
03. in that universe, you stumble back to your apartment, but by time you get there, you are no longer strangers. his hands are cold, yes — but your skin is hot, and the way he groans against your lips sets your entire soul on fire. he’s a bit too gentle as he undresses you, but you nip at his lips, hiss against his skin, and tell him that you want him to show you everything she never got to see.
he growls in his chest, shoves you back against your bedroom door and tears your underwear from you with his teeth.
he makes you come three times before letting himself go, his forehead pressed to yours, your fingers laced, palm to palm, his hips bruising as he thrusts into you, panting, the moonlight spilling down over his back like liquid silver. and like this, all you can see is the shape of him, his broad shoulders, his short hair —
“d-dai-ichi! please!”
you feel yourself clench around him, the white-hot pleasure punching through you as he fucks you through your release, his breath hot against your shoulder even as you twitch around him.
“f-fuck… nngh —”
you puff out a breath as you feel him jerk against you, his arms shaking as he fights to hold himself up, before you wrap your arms around him and tug him close, grinning into the mess of his hair as he collapses over you.
“so…” you ask, after a few minutes of ragged breaths, a few seconds of collecting the scatted pieces of yourselves from across the twisted bedsheets, “what was she like?”
daichi shakes his head, turning to look at you with a crooked smile, “i… honestly, i don’t remember.”
you grin, turning to face him completely, “good… i don’t remember him either.”
02. in that universe, you sit across from him on his bedroom floor, your fists clenched in your lap, him sitting directly across from you. your multiple choice worksheets lay forgotten on the floor by the foot of the bed. outside, the spring sways on the barely blooming peach blossoms, collecting dew in the warming night air.
“uhm — so, i’ve been meaning to ask you this for a while…” you say, looking anywhere but at daichi’s face.
daichi feels his stomach clench, his heart skitter and thump, a raw, wild, bewildered thing, untamed and untamable as it tumbles inside his chest.
“yes?” he tries to keep his voice steady. he’s not sure if he succeeds.
you force yourself to look up at him, finally. finally.
(if a girl finally, finally, admits her feelings, does she have the power to heal a broken heart?)
“i — i know we’ve grown up together, and we’ve always been best friends —”
“mhm, yeah,” daichi nods, forcing himself through the paces. he has to do this, he has to do this for her. but —
“but if — somewhere along the line… i think — i think i started to have feelings for you — and i know, i know it’s weird — but… i don’t think i could forgive myself if i didn’t… if i didn’t at least try…”
you squeeze your eyes shut and lower your eye, bending at the waist till your nose is three inches from the floor of daichi’s bedroom.
daichi stares, his mind unwilling, perhaps unable, to process everything you’d just said.
(wait, i thought — i thought she was talking about someone else! i thought —)
“daichi… will you go out with me?”
01. in that universe, he writes his number on the coffee slip right before he hands you your brand new drink.
“thanks… you didn’t need to do that,” you blush, taking the coffee, letting it’s warmth seep through your fingers as you both walk to the door.
“yeah, but… i wanted to,” he says, grinning as he turns to look at you, his own cheeks dusted in the color of falling leaves.
“well… i’m glad you did.”
you take a long sip of your coffee, letting the sweet and bitter burn through you, letting the shifting winds blow loose your hair, kiss passed your own insecurities. but daichi’s phone’s already ringing again, and you content yourself with watching him fumble as he answers, stuttering into the receiver.
“suga! i’m coming, i’m coming! i just —” he ducks as he cover his mouth, hissing into the mic something that sounds suspiciously like ‘met a super cute girl and gave her my number’.
you laugh as he raises a hand to wave at you, half-skipping, half-jogging down the street.
“call me, okay?” he shouts, motioning with his hand, miming up to his other ear even as he almost smashes into a couple walking down the street in the other way.
“okay!” you call back, laughing as you look down at the hastily scribbled number on the coffee slip.
00. in this universe, you slam your book shut, jolting to your feet. somewhere in the distance, the cicadas are chirruping loud enough to drown out the rushing tides of destiny.
“u-uhm — sorry, excuse me!” you shout, so loud that he nearly trips over his own feet.
“h-ha?” he looks back at you, all amber eyes and sunset smiles and in the flicker of a moment, both of you wonder if you can see the stray strands of a hundred thousand universes playing out in the spaces between you.
“what’s your name?” you ask, your fingers digging into the flesh of your own palms. and somehow, you already know the answer.
behind him, daichi’s friends hoot and holler.
he blushes, clutching the volleyball to his chest as he takes a breath. he scratches the back of his head as he looks away and looks back. this time, your eyes catch, perfect, shocking, present tense.
“sawamura… daichi.”

another thing that haikyuu effortlessly upstages naruto on is its answer to the genius vs hard-worker question.
we have oikawa whose insecurity leads him to label kageyama and ushijima as geniuses. there's even an entire episode called "oikawa tooru is not a genius," where he agonizes over his perceived lack of natural talent compared to ushikage. but still, he concludes that "talent is something you make bloom, instinct is something you polish," a line that hints at further exploration of the idea of genius and natural ability.
so, much later on in the manga, we meet kita, who outright disagrees with the idea of "genius" and calls that label an insult to the amount of hard work put into producing those talents. through kita, furudate is practically directly telling us, the audience, that oikawa was wrong. people like kageyama, ushijima, and atsumu arent geniuses; and if you believe there's an innate difference between them and you, then you've already lost.
and riseki, whom kita's unloading his speech on, takes that lesson to heart, fully internalizing that "genius" is just a title that mystifies passion and hard work. so despite never being a regular in middle school, depite his serve against karasuno failing to score, despite his previous insecurities about "geniuses," he works earnestly to make his talents bloom, and in his last year of high school he's rewarded with the best server award.
back to oikawa himself, the man who ignited the genius vs hard-worker debate. after rekindling his love for the sport in brazil due to hinata, he vows to win if they ever compete against each other. and they do. they face each other in the olympics: oikawa setting for argentina, against his biggest high school rivals on team japan, and he wins. he wins it all, he takes home olympic gold.
the difference was never innate, never insurmountable like oikawa once believed it was.
one of my favorite lines in haikyuu is relevant here: "today, you've lost. what will you become tomorrow?" in other words, failure is momentary. what comes after is up to you. to essentialize your losses and temporary weaknesses as proof of a "hard-worker vs genius" divide is to give up on yourself.
compare that with how naruto handles the genius vs hard-worker question... LMAO. the story never grows past middle school oikawa's mentality, and it's sad. from the chuunin exams, where rock lee calls himself a hard-worker as opposed to sasuke and neji who are labeled geniuses of natural talent. to the war arc, where hagoromo calls naruto talentless, like asura was, and unlike minato, kushina, sasuke, and indra.
it's just so sad how shallow the thematic development is. the story is framed as underdog hard-worker beats natural genius. except the underdog is actually destined to save the world. and it turns out he has the specialest bloodline and family, while the genius is apparently evil incarnate and his bloodline is "genetically evil." basically, we're looking at a flimsily concealed power fantasy for insecure, resentful self-identified non-geniuses. lmfao how anyone can think this manga is in any way well-written is beyond me. like, go watch haikyuu for actual peak shounen

naruto blogging part 10 kinda
the 2 page spreads in naruto really make me appreciate haikyuu paneling all that much more because for a lot of naruto's 2 page spreads it really doesn't need to be 2 pages the layout works equally well with single pages whereas with haikyuu's double page spreads they really take advantage of the wide format in a way naruto doesn't. anyways haikyuu has some of the best paneling and page layouts i have seen in any manga (houseki no kuni is another good one).
I miss those times when Naruot used to go feral like in the Land of Waves or Valley of the End 1. Naruto needs a design where he gets fluffy fox ears and a tail.
Naruto and houseki no kuni have opposite approaches to callbacks. Both series will at time purposefully mirror or invoke earlier parts of the manga. The difference is that naruto will devote pages/episodes to the same flashbacks so that the audience can immediately remember the previous scene. By contrast hnk has no flashbacks ever and expects the audience to remember the whole manga and draw the comparisons themselves some of these are very subtle like half a panel of a dandelion seed or the shadow of wings.
i caved and read ch 700 and its meh ok which means that its boruto that made everything bad. like its been like 15 years a lot of things can change, im not necessarily against naruto marrying hinata having 2 kids and becoming hokage or sasuke and sakura having a daughter. what i am against is sakura being defined by her cringe middleschool crush and pining for sasuke when he obviously doesn't care about her, like just say they're divorced or never married but wanted a kid. please let sakura get on with her life. or naruto and hinata marrying is fine and naruto having a son and having to deal with the same antics he did as a kid is fine but naruto being a deadbeat absent father isn't. wow the boruto writers really messed up because the ideas from ch 700 aren't the worst. a better take on the ideas would be show how naruto has matured and now reflects on his past actions with new insight since now he has been on both sides as the troublemaking brat and the responsible adult and he understands that boruto is acting out because he wants attention and responds by being more affectionate and making time for him. also bolt and salad.... great names as usual.
can't believe naruto isn't wearing his head-protector in the epilogue, he loves that thing.
ah so the anime clarifies that sasuke is seeing naruto's memories including naruto's meeting with itachi in the war. cant believe im saying this but i think the anime might have done this one part better. makes sasuke acknowledging naruto more impactful since its now also sasuke giving up his vision of the lonely hokage for naruto and itachi's its-the-villages-acknowledgement-that-makes-a-hokage, so sasuke is also indirectly supporting naruto's dream of being hokage and abandoning his own.
"Oh sure, lock up sasuke and not the guy that murdered and tortured hundreds of kids, killed and experimented on thousands of peoples, kidnapping minors and adults, committing kagecide twice against the third hokage and the kazekage, attempted murder… destroying konoha and half its shinobi forces, almost instigating another world war…" Orochimaru would have so many treason charges against him lol for selling state secrets, there's also his joining the international terrorist ring, yeah the world war he was plotting, all the random side characters he or his schemes have killed, the rampant human experimentation, kidnapping, murder, the bodies at his feet are endless. I like to imagine that between all the people Orochimaru's screwed over and the snake summons that didn't really like him to begin with, someone killed him. He dies off-screen like he deserves. (Boruto? Boruto isn't real, what are you talking about?)
Imagine a better timeline where naruto goes backpacking across the world with sasuke and shows up 2 years later with a mullet and covered in fuuinjutsu tattoos
anime novel arcs!: sasuke shinden isn't off to a good start. like yamato doesn't even question who those two strangers are eventhough he says no one's allowed to see orochimaru

Anime Recommendations!
Hi everyone, I hope y’all are safe and happy! With quarantine still in place (at least in my country), I’m gonna keep the random rec lists coming! I’ve been watching a lotttt of animes and rewatching favourites, so I thought I’d share some of my favourites of all time! A lot of them are pretty mainstream, but for my friends who aren’t really into anime, these will get you hooked! In no particular order, let’s get started!
1. Snow White with the Red Hair, 24 episodes
This is hands down my favourite anime of all time. This shoujo anime make me feel so happy and it’s so wholesome, honestly such a feel good anime. Without spoiling too much, it’s about a herbalist named Shirayuki who ends up having to flee her home country and ends up meeting Prince Zen and goes to live in his country. The cast of characters in the anime is so good, there’s not a character to dislike. The genuine build up of friendship and eventual romance is just so sweet please watch.
2. Demon slayer (26 episodes)
One of the best anime I’ve watched this past year. This anime has amazing plot, awesome animation and a great cast of characters. This anime follows Tanjiro as he becomes a demon slayer after a demon killed his family. Tanjiro and his sister, Nezuko were the only survivors but Nezuko was turned in a demon and now Tanjiro is on a journey to change he back into a human. If you are into anime with amazing fight scenes, I highly recommend.
3. Hunter x Hunter (148 episodes)
I am currently watching this anime and it honestly made it onto my lists of favourite anime super quickly. The series starts with Gon and his quest to become a pro hunter and find his dad and goes on from there. With so many episodes and arcs, you can’t stop watching. The characters immediately hooked me on this show, Killua and Gon’s friendship is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen in anime, I literally want to adopt both of them. This anime is so heartwarming but also kinda dark and action packed.
4. Haikyuu!! (73 episodes, on-going)
My favourite sports anime my god. Haikyuu follows a high school volleyball team as they try to make it to nationals. This series made me so much more emotional than I thought it would, but you get so involved with the team and characters and want them to succeed. All of the characters from all of the teams are also fantastic and hilarious. If you need a fun but exciting anime, please please please watch Haikyuu!!
5. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (64 episodes)
Where to even begin. I would say this is one of the most popular anime and for good freaking reason. Without giving too much away, this anime follows brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric as they go on a quest to get their bodies back. Honestly this is one of my fav animes, if you like awesome fight scenes and really intriguing plot, you will love this anime.
6. Yona of the Dawn (24 episodes)
Another amazing anime but sadly, unfinished. I think this anime is best to watch w/o knowing very much. Just know that there is really good characters and character development and a very attractive love interest :))))
7. Soul eater (51 episodes)
One of the first animes I ever watched and as I remember it’s hella awesome, if you like halloween then the whole atmosphere of this anime will intrigue you. The fight scenes in this are really fun and so are the characters. If you need a fun medium length anime, I would recommend this one!
8. Inuyasha (193 episodes)
This anime is worth all the hype in my opinion. The plot was great, the characters are fantastic and romance is so freaking cute I can’t. I’m also a sucker for asshole characters who are secretly really sweet.
9. Fruits Basket (2019) (25 episodes (S1), S2 on-going)
This is the cutest anime. The whole cast characters is amazing and you get so attached so fast. The protagonist is so sweet and optimistic and I really just wanna protect her. I went into this knowing next nothing and I think that’s the best way to do it. The 2001 version is good too but 2019 has better animation and is closer to managa (and has more episodes!).
10. My Hero Academia (88 episodes, on-going)
I love this anime with my whole heart. There is an adorable cast of characters and amazing fight scenes, I love this sm. It’s set in a world where like 95% of the population has ‘quirks’ which are basically super powers but not all of them are super powerful. Super heroes protect cities and the anime follows a high school where the students are training to become heroes. The main character is born without a quirk but through some crazy circumstances he ends up acquiring one. In my opinion this anime is worth the hype.
11. Ouran Highschool Host Club (26 episodes)
This one is wild. Ouran Highschool Host club is so iconic and it’s hilarious, I laughed out loud watching this one so much. Honestly I went into this knowing nothing and I think its funnier that way.
12. Yuri!!! On Ice (13 episodes)
THIS ANIME. The first sports anime w/ canon LGBTQ+ romance and its beautiful. I love the style, the skating, the music, the characters, just everything about it. This follows Yuri Katsuki, a professional figure skater from Japan and his skating career. After messing up a major championship, Yuri is lost and doesn’t know what to do w/ his career. After seeing a video of Yuri skate, his idol Victor, a skating legend, shows up to be his coach. Please watch this anime.
13. Attack on Titan (62 episodes, on-going)
If you are looking for a badass action anime this is the one for you. Humanity has fallen to the mercy of giant man-eating titans, and the people that survived live within a walled city to keep the titans out. This anime is a little disturbing and violent but it is so badass. Also Levi, the most badass character ever, makes this entire anime worth watching.
14. Ao Haru Ride (12 episodes)
Hands down my favourite romance anime. This anime is so freaking cute and it gave me so many fuzzy feelings. The animation is also super nice so that is always a plus. It follows Futaba and Kou who liked each other in middle school but were separated. They meet again in high school but they have both changed so much. If you want a romance anime I really recommend this one.
15. Naruto (720 episodes)
This is a freaking classic and really long. Almost everyone and their mother has heard of this anime or watched some of it before. Basically it’s about ninjas and follows mainly Naruto Uzumaki who want to eventually be the leader of his village but his ninja skills need a lot of work. I honestly didn’t think I would love this anime as much as I did but its just so good. It is a very big commitment to finish though so be prepared.
16. Your Lie in April (22 episodes)
Well this anime is literally beautiful. It is centered around 2 teens w/ major musical talent. It gets deep very fast but its also light hearted and wholesome. This anime made me cry like a baby so get your tissues ready.

1. Gaanaru
Wonderful pair! Gaara will spend like 80% of their time together just watching Naruto excitedly talking about anything and it'll be the happiest moment of his life, this guy is a big sap. People have thought that the meeting of Five Kages happened more frequently these days, especially after they announced that they're together, but... probably just some weird coincidence, eh?
(Every meeting is basically just the Kages talking about real stuff for 5 minutes and the rest is watching Gaara making love-love eyes to Naruto. The other Kages are conflicted because they're annoyed but also don't have the heart to tell them off)
2. Spiritshipping
I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with them, sorry! I only watched like 10-ish episodes of GX so it's still ridiculously early in the series and I haven't meet Jesse yet... That one just doesn't really capture my interest since I skipped straight to 5Ds 😅
3. Asheiji
Ah, another amazing "foreigner getting enamored by the cute Japanese boy" pair, absolutely amazing. Truly love that last episode when Ash finally decided to go to Japan with Eiji and opening cat cafe together! What a cute couple ❤❤
(What do you mean that's not what happened? It absolutely does, I know it! Ash tell me this myself!)
All jokes aside, BF was a truly wonderful seriesーexxept for that last eps, of course. A lot of people have already said how unfair it is to Ash so I won't say anything more. I really love how Eiji always tried his best to be with Ash, like he's not trying to forcefully change him or anything, he's simply there with Ash. Tragic and beautiful 🥲
4. Renga
Ah I've seen so many amazing fanart of them but I haven't watched the anime yet! It's just that the anime aired when I was a bit busy so I keep putting it off... until now ajzkksks. I'll probably watch it someday, I saw everyone getting hyped every week on twitter so I'm looking forward to it!
5. Konami
Phenomenal. These two have a soft spot for me, because it's literally one of the very few series with lgbt characters that manage to be aired on my country. I had so much fun shoving the official comic to some of my classmates who insist that these two aren't canon ahah
I really love the fact that Asami is a non-bender and yet played a very big part in the series! Also really love how she appeared very mature but is actually really impulsive and has her own brand of wild. Honestly, Korra goes out of her little world and immediately met this fierce, beautiful woman... no wonder she ended up falling headfirst into her ❤
6. Kagehina
I don't personally ship anyone on Haikyuu, but they're cute, yeah! Literally speedrunning enemy to rival to partner in one episode ajzjsjsj it was so funny. They're also the classic grumpy with sunshine couple and you almost can't go wrong with that.
7. Todobakudeku
I like tododeku simply because I always loved the trope where the emo got splashed with the ball of sunshine once and immediately put their life on the line for the sunshine 😆😆 I'm not really sure about Bakugou, since I only watched first 2 seasons of bnha and half of season 3, and he's still pretty insufferable at that point... but I heard that he got massive character development later on so I don't think I can give a fair opinion on Bakugou for now, sorry!
I've seen lots of Bakugou and Deku manga caps from the latest chapters tho and they look fruity so I guess these two really do get massive development, huh? 👀

Since 2008? On and off so i still consider myself a newbie

Used to post on Quizilla, ff.net, asianfanfics now just on Tumblr
5. what is your favourite genre to write?
Fluff, angst with happy end. Anything that ends well, even if the ending is open, it just needs to have a glimmer of hope in there.
6. are you a pantser or a planner?
well, both? i aspire to be a planner, end up being a pantser most of the time. I just let my characters take me where they want to.
7. one shot or multi-chapter?
One shot, multi chaptered (even though i have my Voir Dire series) makes me feel bad when i can’t meet the posting schedule.
8. what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?
10k-30k? Depends on a lot of things (that is for one shots though) as a chapter i would say 5k
9. what is your longest published story? is it complete?
Voir Dire as it is a chaptered fic, stands at 27k at the moment and it is not finished (got a long way to go) but my one shots, the longest is my yoongi hogwarts au one which is 13k (for now-they seem to be getting longer)
10. which story did you enjoy working on the most?
tough one, i enjoy all of them, each has left their mark on me and helped me grow and experience things, but if i had to pick i would say Voir Dire as it made me do a lot of research plus mafia au has always been something i have wanted to write or sleeposal! It was only a drabble but working on it has been such a fun experience for me!
11. favourite request you’ve have written and why (if any?)
there is one coming out soon, it was an arranged marriage au yoongi which was meant to be a drabble, and it ended up a 12k one shot.
12. are there reoccurring themes in your stories?
i had to ask the person who has read the most of my stories about this because i try to not have any reocurring themes if i can help it, i like to diversify depending on the story. and seems like i have succeeded somehow, i think?
13. current number of wips?
mostly collabs for now this monts is quite collab heavy, and some drabble requests but i think the other ones that i have planned equal all those in number so i would have to say in between a lot and a lot
14. three things you have noticed about your own writing?
i have a lot of expressions i use repeatedly throughout my fics (i am trying to get better at that), i have improved on the heaviness of the plots and emotions quite a bit and my grammar (always gotta be careful with that), i also like metaphors...like...a lot

I was quite proud of this one, it’s a drabble called i wish you knew
‘Life is never simple. Life doesn’t care about the wishes of two young lovers. Life doesn’t stop just because you want to hold his hand forever. Just like the heat of the summer, your fire dwindled to a steady heat. Like the remnants of a bonfire, your flame became hot coals. i never know what to say, which is funny because i write, i should be able to express my feelings easily, yet i can’t say enough thank yous, and i cannot express how much each and every one of you means to me. whether you have commented or not, reblogged or not, followed me or not, or just stumbled upon one of my fics randomly but still stayed and read, it all means the world to me. Hi Sara, I’ve never interacted with you before-but I absolutely adore you and your writing! (Your Megumi works? I’ve read them multiple times 😩) I hope you’re doing well today!
umm one of my favorite characters is Konoha from Haikyuu! :) He likes coffee, black and just with sugar! He also enjoys every kind of music just about. For instance you can catch him listening to trap music in the car on the way to work, and on the way home he’s listening to Vivaldi. Something cute about him I think is how he is very cuddly and lovey despite having RBF and always being a little on the sarcastic side hehe :))

ahhhhhh this is so SWEET! i've never seen Naruto before but I can see a picture forming in my head already 💖 i love hearing about the little details that people come up with in their head when it comes to their faves, it's one of my favourite parts of fandom and this whole community we've all built together!
he and i are opposites when it comes to coffee heehee! i don't take sugar in mine but i LOAD IT UP with cream, coffee with cream is so rich & tasty to me and i love it! but it's nice, you know, he will never use up the last of the cream before I can get to my morning coffee, so we would get along hahahaha!
and i am also TOTALLY LIKE THAT WITH MY MUSIC i will literally listen to anything alksdfjl i'm not always the best at keeping up with what's recent but as soon as someone shows it to me I'm almost guaranteed to like it hahaha!
also like... all my faves are a lil on the deadpan side, there's DEFINITELY something appealing about a guy that's tough to the world but soft for you 🥺i'm always saying that I'll look for the guys that would fondly roll their eyes at my goofy antics, but go along with them anyway, and it sounds like this dude is like that!! he sounds so GREAT awwww i'm so glad you told me all this stuff about him!

✧︎During The Shift✧︎
disclaimer : i’ve stated it before and I will stay it again. everyone has different experiences during that shifts that are unique to their own personal liking. however this post is about some similarities i’ve noticed.
part i || part ii || currently on
the common desire to meet someone
whether it’s due to romantic feelings or not many of the shifters I know had a goal to shift to wherever to meet someone.
maybe it’s not even someone it’s a whole crowd of people or like a group of people that they wanted to Interact with.
interaction with the people/characters
at first thought I really didn’t believe in shifting because I was like there’s no way they exist.
Well here’s the thing in the current reality we live in of course they don’t exist, but they could though that’s a whole other topic that is yet far away from my own knowledge.
but when you shift the interactions you have with everyone you meet are all real feelings. you can create bonds/relationships with many of the characters.
and shifting too much does indeed cause a certain emotional attachment to the character. and especially with the characters/people you’re with they too also feel emotions.
when shifting your mind doesn’t get erased so when you shift you can mention real people and talk about them to them. in example in the Haikyuu shifts Osamu and I a great friends and I mention one of my friends to him and now he wants to meet them. another one is i was talking to Kenma and I mentioned that another one of my friends could probably beat him in Mario Cart and he didn’t believe me and he wanted proof if that was true.
the point above this also adds to the point of law of attraction in a way.
another way of interaction in the shift is ‘multiplayer’ shifts. which lead me into my next point.
waiting room shifts
when shifting you usually first end up in some place by yourself not always! but in my case and a few others they usually ‘wake up’ in a bedroom or like their own appartement.
remember what I said about multiplayer shifts? so what this is what it literally means. a group of people’s consciousness all gather or meet in the same place. this place is called the waiting room.
it’s like a lobby you start in before you enter the shifting word though not every shift happens in a lobby but usually from shifting stories i’ve heard about they usually are first alone some where.
the usage of LIFA
LIFA is an app ONLY used in the dream reality, not everyone has it by default like me for example so I had to make sure to script it beforehand.
in order to have LIFA you must make sure that you have a certain device that will be accessible to downloading an app as such. an example would be a simple phone.
during the waiting room period if you have downloaded LIFA before hand, using the app is like a “cheat code” you can change your appearance to your liking in the shift. which are in your pov so it’s not like a dream where you can see yourself in 3rd person no.
you can change the appearance of you waiting room. so in my case my waiting room is a simple bedroom with bookshelves around it and some little trinkets and stuff from shifts I’ve been given. Like a blue stuffed duck plushy that Atsumu gave me.
LIFA is also considered a “cheat” in shifting because during the shift you can script things that you want to happen later on. Like during school I was getting bored in class and I ended up scripting what I wanted to happen during practice to add some flavor to the shift.
There’s many more ways to use LIFA, but those were just examples on how I use the app.
common questions / concerns I get asked
“are you really in ‘anime’ form when you shift?”
my answer : it doesn’t feel like it only because it’s real but looking back it’s kind of hazy but yes. though that can change depending on the shifter. there’s shifters I know who have gone to naruto and or mha and they viewed them as ‘realistic looking’
“Do the characters really feel emotions for you.”
my answer : yes, some may not be romantic but yes they do feel a certain emotional attachment to you. so the more you shift your bond with them grows.
“What happens to your dream reality self, when you decide to unshift?”
my answer : your dream reality self doesn’t disappear in that world. think of it like SIMS when you’re not playing your sim is still moving. so that’s why when you shift your not always in the same place. sometimes i’d shift and I find myself being asked about something and since I just shifted i’m like ‘wait can you repeat that 👁👄👁. I wasn’t listening.’
Of course there’s more questions and concerns that I had asked or mentioned, but I’m getting lazy so this should be good enough.

Then look no further than the newly established Bangtan Anime Club created by a few fantastic people at BHQ! Our recruitment period will last for the entire month. Person A falls into a magical spring that makes them shift between genders. Person B falls in as well, but they shift into a giant panda or animal of writer's choice.
Person A and Person B are regulars on the school’s sports team who are fighting for their manager’s attention, Person C.
Person A has an important sporting game of writer's choice coming up and has been overworking themselves in preparation. Person B reminds them to slow down and take care of themselves.
Persona A lives in a world where superpowers flourish and superheroes run the world. The only problem is Person A was born without powers. Persona B decides to give their powers to Persona A for the reason of the writer's choice.
Person A recently adopted a new cat that seemed very friendly at the store. As time goes on, Person A notices their cat disappears for days at a time, and each time it returns home brings with it a strange magical item.
Persona A is out walking one night and suddenly hears someone say hey. When they turn around to look, they see a group of seven strange cats standing under a street lamp.
Person A is fed up with dating, so they decide to order a custom made robot boyfriend off the website "Absolute Boyfriend."
Person A moves to a new town/school and is the only one that notices that one (or seven) of their classmates are OBVIOUSLY not human but no one else notices and think they're weird when they bring it up
Person A joins an elite culinary school only to find that Person B (their rival) has joined.
Person A has dreamed of becoming a Pokémon trainer their entire life and traveling the world solo. However, Person B, their rival suddenly challenges them to a battle, with the condition that if they win, Person A must never let their side.
Person A is a college student in a normal world when suddenly they get a knock on the door and it turns out to be their favorite anime asking for help.
Person A can see spirits. Being around one of the seven men, makes the spirits disappear. One takes notice to Person A only to find out they are promised to them.

YOU’RE GOING TO END UP WITH...
The first time you catch each other’s eyes it feels as though there’s a Mexican stand-off. Both of your curiosity for each other is masked under an intense stare. It isn’t easy getting you two together. You and Tobio are very blunt to a fault and will often bulldoze with your conflicting ideas. You find in each other a challenge that you both dislike, if you’re just going to be more honest. It’s all because there’s that feeling that you two are actually better working together than against each other, but it’s easier to butt heads than see right past through the admiration.
If you think Tobio hates you because he glares at you a lot may you be near or far, you’re not quite wrong because in his head he thinks he hates you too. What you don’t know is that he actually kind of internally searches for you whenever you’re not around. That all or nothing attitude annoys amazes him too. He hates that you’re almost the same yet unlike him you’re more upbeat and lively. Plus, you like froyo, which is cute. Not that he likes you or anything!
He just starts being more aware of all this, when someone asks him what’s his problem with you. When he thinks about it, is it because he dislikes your qualities or is it because he actually likes them but can’t find a good way to get close to you? Yes, imagine him turning his head sharply away. Come to think of it, he hates it whenever you show that enthusiastic side of you to other people while all you two do is argue and throw snarks at each other.
The only reason he approaches you to mend things is for the sake of getting through, but when he sees you smile at him. Like at him for the very first time! His world stops and he hates feeling it but loves it too at the same time. You see him blush and there’s no denying it.
He likes you, okay? But he’s kind of slow and needs time.
Once the air around you two becomes lighter, the intensity in his eyes towards you now begins to have a different color. It finally unveils what’s beneath his usually heated gaze.
Tbh, he finds your liking for cute things like Sanrio, flowers and ponds really adorable. He actually thinks of buying you a Sanrio stuff, but he overthinks about it that he doesn’t actually get to do it. Pfft!
Even if it takes him long, he does realize his feelings for you and even practices a lot on how to confess it. Days just get brighter when you finally take it all off on your chests.
Tobio prefers listening to you than talking, but won’t hold back from asking question here and there. Surprisingly, initiative at hand-holding though he might be too shy to meet your gaze.
Although you still argue a lot, you both feel secured that no matter how many fights you have, you still have each other’s backs and that nothing is more important than being with someone who knows you like no other. Expect froyo and bbq dates because you both love it too much. You just love being together too much!
You’re completely swept away by how effortlessly caring Itachi is. You often catch him looking at you. Whenever you catch him, he won’t even move his eyes away and he smiles instead. Ugh.
It’s like you want to ask him what his problem is but he’s just too captivating and you kind of actually likes it too. At first, you enjoy him bringing you your favorite foods, making sure you’re comfortable and giving you undivided attention whenever you tell him stories. However, it gets to a point when it bothers you. You fear that he sees you like how he perceives his little brother. Are you just like a little sister for him?
When you finally asks him why he’s so kind to you and why he’s so concerned of you, you’re surprised to know that he just simply cares for you. Itachi simply loves having you around. He saw the same devotion he has for his loved ones in you and he values that a lot. He loves it whenever you two talk and how you’re just so full of life. You just bring out in him that nurturing and caring side that he only reserves for the people he loves.
As a couple, you both like to playfully debate. You also love his cooking and teases him a little bit for always trying to make sunnyside-ups perfect. Not to mention, he’s starting to become a dango master too. Also, you have this hotpot/yakiniku weekend which you always look forward to.
You love to listen and converse with each other and find it amazing how you can expand one topic in a broader view. With him, you fin comfort and warmth as you give him so much happiness and life.

I’m 19, 5'6", leo, pansexual, she/them ENTP, long brown curly hair, wears glasses, looks alt and is conventionally attractive, and i used to be a professional athlete so I'm kind of built but still somewhat slim. I am often told i look intimidating to men but women are quickly at ease with me.
I have ADHD and anger issues. I am very spontaneous and impulsive and have like 3 working braincells so i find myself in weird spots way too much, but i got street smarts and am a fairly good judge of character. I get along with most people and am fairly decent at making friends. I'm kind to everyone and am quite sensitive. I'm the one friend that ppl come to when they're in trouble and need help, whether it's about some project or them needing to fix something or somebody is looking for a fight with them. I'm also pretty good at giving people advice so they come to me when they need to get something off their chest.
My hobbies are basically making art (i believe myself to be a good artist), reading books,mangas and comics, sewing and DIY-ing stuff. I’m a polyglot and really like learning about mythology. I am physically strong and will not hesitate to fight someone, so no matter their size, age or gender, i will punt them like a football. Hinata Shouyou! Oh you and him would make such a cute couple I swear! The fact that he has one braincells and you only have a few, and when you combine you both to make more? A match made in heaven! He’s impulsive and your impulsive which is a recipe for disaster, but for you too, it’s a recipe for fun and adventure!
Hinata will love that you get along with everybody, it will make him see that you are open and kind and not afraid to be open with people, and he will really appreciate that! He will love that fact that you someone that people will come to with your problems because it shows him that you are trustworthy and good at giving advice, something he will need from time to time.
Hinata will love to have you teach him about your hobbies, art being the main one! Art, to him, is similar to volleyball (trust me, it makes sense) and will definitely want you to show him how you work and what you like doing the most. He may or may not ask you with ulterior motives, envisioning you holding hands and teaching him how to stroke on a canvas and how you to hold a pain brush, definitely not. (He most defnintely will)
All in all, I feel like hinata will be the perfect man for you in the Haikyuu universe! He will love your spontaneity and shared impulsiveness, he will love they you are passionate about your hobbies and he will absolutely love the factr that you are someone who is open and kind to everyone you meet! You better be prepared for an onslaught of love and kisses!
So, for the Naruto universe, I wanted to go match you up with someone that was rather quite opposite of you, but also wouldn’t mind the way you acted! And I picked Gaara for you! I feel that with his calmness and your impulsiveness will mesh really well! He will enjoy the fact you can be so energetic, finding yourself in random places; he’ll think it is cute! He will also like the fact that you a good judge of characters. The way that his childhood was, he will need someone who is a good judge on people, and good at weeding the bad from the good. He will definitely appreciate someone like you near him!
Gaara will love how open and friendly you are to everyone, and never seeing you be too awkward with them. He would envious, but at the same time, he will see that he needs someone like that in his life, someone who is full of love and kindness, someone who is easy to to talk to! He will also always go to you for advice, acknowledging that you are really good at it!
When he sees you doing you hobbies, either reading or sewing, he’ll just watch closely. He’ll love you how you look when concentrating, barely noticing that he is in the room with you, and ever so slowly, he will move closer to you, so he can watch at a better angle. By now you see him, but you don’t say anything, you just keep going. He will see this as quality time with you, being close to you and learning about the things you love!
All in all, I feel like Gaara would be a great fit for you, his calmness and balance out your energetic nature, and he will be your guiding light when you get lost in random places! I hope you will love him lots!
Okuyasu would probably be intimidated by you at first, but then he’d simp hard. You have three brain cells and Okuyasu has none (cause it's Josuke’s turn with the brain cell). Combined you make two halves of one whole idiot, but in the cutest way possible.
With the aforementioned lack of brain power, you both would get up to some wacky hijinks. Since you’re so personable, he would not hesitate to bring you into the squad, and you would probably fit right in (Now Koichi isn’t the only one with a partner ;D).
Okuyasu would probably make bets with you over who was stronger, and you would bond arm wrestling (which you’d probably win because he gets distracted easily). He’d be butt hurt about it but would then brag to all his friends how his partner is the strongest person he knows.
Being a huge nerd is a plus, Okuyasu would love to indulge in your interests, and maybe even discover some of his own hidden talents.
