Judar never really minded the fact that he couldn't use healing spells

He knew this he knew he couldn't help with healing spells- he's known this for a long time but- why is it only now that he regrets not trying harder?

Without saying a word he grabs your bag and hands you what he thinks is the first aid kit that you're talking about you take out some things that you're gonna use to clean your wound but soon you run into trouble- see your wound is on your back and as you shift to try to clean it a sharp jolt of pain hits

You let out a small groan but continued as there wasn't anything else you could do but perceiver

Judar watched as sweat drilled from your head as you tried to shift your position to see the tear God..he couldn't handle looking at you like this but he was clueless as to what he should do...

"Just...just- give me that" it surprised you a bit when Judar snatched the cloth from your hand "come here.." he gently? lowered your head to lay on his lap so you were laying on your stomach

Judar has been given punishments for acting out by al thamen plenty of times so he's watched as servants cleaned his wounds before so he's trying with all his might to replicate that

"Just..just tell me if it hurts..or- if I'm doing something wrong.." this was very unlike your judar in every scenario you had imagined him laughing at your injuries but treating them and reassuring you- oh wow

"..maybe I should get injured more often so I can see this side of you eh?-" in response, he didn't say anything but instead pressed a little too hard on your wound which was followed by an array of apologies from you

This- this felt nice contrary to the aching wound on your back, being gently touched by judar as he tried his best to softly clean your wound and apply some medicine was somehow almost soothing

You hug him close ignoring any pain from the wound but when he tries hugging you back you let out a slight groan and he realizes what an idiot he's being, I mean your the ones who's hurt what the hell is he doing right now!!

He starts to stop crying still sniffling but it's better than before "c-...come here" he gently helps you lay down as he grabs bandages from his bag

"i-if you feel, any discomfort...tell me, okay?" his voice is small and you hear a small gasp when he gets a good view of your injury "y/n..." he whispers under his breath not sure how he could comfort you...

You can feel his hands shake as he cleans your wounds the little trembles of his body as worry overcomes him "don't worry my dear haku..."

"how...how could I not" you can hear his voice breaking as he quietly sobs once more

Finished watching IE GO Ultimate Bonds Gryphon... I'M ON THE ROLL WITH THIS STUFF RN!!! Yeah... Must say it was much better than the Ogre thing. I indeed do have a weakness of the GO kids after all hehe, they're lovely!

I especially like that they involved og characters, who weren't really there before (Kazemaru, Fudou, Kabeyama) and the chemistry between Shuu & Tenma (I'll make a separate post bout that :3) and Tsurugi & Hakuryuu.

It may be just my imagination (or I really really want to see it there, also it's possible someone once had mentioned it, so if I'm repeating or stealing your words, apologies).

Anyways. makes me feel, as if Hakuryuu was hurt, cuz Tsurugi left and he seeks power after that to make Tsurugi acknowledge him? Also that talk bout Tsurugi being a lone wolf...he's jelly, baby, I can feel it in my bones. I'd like to think that even if Hakuryuu was the most powerful being, he might've still been seeking Tsurugi's approval. Because deep down he needs him...

But just a humble opinion of mine hehe, don't mind it if u don't like it ;)

Summary: The Ikkou is stranded in the middle of a sweltering wasteland. After Sanzo refused to share his sunshade with them, Gojyo and Goku tried to think up an alternative plan to escape the heat.

I have one more Magi manga/anime comparison tidbit before my longer one(s). This time for the Kingdom of Magic/second season. The Aum Madura pirates arc is a bit truncated and shorter, most notably done by kidnapping Aladdin. This does create some discrepancies though.

It's pointed out that the Eye of the Rukh is a magic tool for magicians to use with their attunement with magic already. They lampshade this slightly with Hakuryuu showing some surprise that he is able to use it. It would have been better if they hadn't though? I don't think people would have thought about it too hard and doing so makes it more obvious of the change that Aladdin isn't there. For me, at least *shrug*.

The funnier one though is Morgiana's Yeet Express instead of Aladdin's magic turban.

I'm sorry, she just dislocated the poor guys' shoulders. They're both completely off guard from what I can tell when she does it. I imagine there's a small chance they talked about it beforehand. Morgiana is holding Alibaba's hands and looking ahead, my guess it to aim, while they're preparing to head out but there's not much of a warning, lol.

It makes me giggle. It's a pretty smooth change and still believable for the three of them. They're obviously fine with fantasy and anime physics- no dislocated arm sockets, noodle arms, or crushed legs during landing. And hey, adding physical comedy in an animated medium is a plus.

Last couple were focused on thing's left out, but it's also interesting to see how things are added or changed.

Five Comfort Characters, Five Tags ~

1. Kannonzaka Doppo - I relate to him a whole lot! We both work at the office of a manufacturing firm, we both like omurice and potato salad, we both rely on caffeine to get through the day otherwise we're just tired 24/7... I feel his anxiety regarding work and pretty much most things in life, and admire his development - standing up for himself, taking initiative and being confident in his capabilities and gut instincts. It's inspiring :)

2. Tekhartha Zenyatta - As a Zen main, he's been a comfort character for years. I love his gameplay, most of the time dealing a good balance of damage and healing, which is oddly satisfying to me. Love his lore and him as a character too, of course. Particularly the idea of him being wise but also a trickster lol. Such a fun and interesting character.

3. Shimada Genji - The OG muse of this blog, and the muse that's been active the longest. Six years and still going strong, getting into character with him has gotten quite natural regardless of verse/AU. And I have TONS of those. Watching the Dragons short for the first time was what got me into Overwatch, and I remember getting into it with my Bro. That was one of my favorite memories. Dragon bros 💚

4. Cho Hakkai - Saiyuki was the very first anime that I really got into way back when, so it will always have a special place in my heart. And Hakkai has always been my favorite. My irl friends once said that I'm like Hakkai and it made me happy haha. Can't help but love Mister silly sad, walking wikipedia. Oh and Hakuryuu too! They come as a package~

5. Vash - Particularly Stampede Vash. Not a muse of mine, but my best friend's. She's the one who got me into the series and I got instantly drawn to Vash. At one point, I realized why. His mannerisms, looks, down to his smile, reminds me of someone I used to know. We were close, at lease I thought we were. Sadly we lost touch long ago, but the memories of them were good. In any case, I do love Vash a whole lot and want very much to give him a hug. Or be hugged by him ;; I can imagine he'd give the best hugs

ok lets briefly talk about go now that im done playing (well i still have the hakuryuu stuff but whatever)

overall i think. the changes made to the story to adapt it to game form really improved the whole thing for me in that it made it way less slow (which was why i had such a hard time getting into it w the anime). other changes that imo were huge improvements:

getting to see kidou make the decision of joining raimon (as opposed to being just sent there by hibiki etc for vague reasons) and what exactly it is that he brings to the team that they didnt have before. he feels a lot more needed there than in the anime to me....

again about kidou i like that we saw him admit that his way of training raimon wasnt going well AT ALL LOL (though the kids still apologized to him which i didnt like. unnecessary and undeserved (HE should be apologizing) but okk...)

obviously i have mixed feelings on it because i have mixed feelings on the s3 kageyama redemption happenings and such HOWEVER i did like that there were ever so slightly more hikaru+kidou interactions in the game. theres really not much actual content but kidou telling him to wear his name proudly and take it to places kgym never could + hikaru very clearly looking up to him leave the door open for me to imagine a sort of detached mentor/mentee relationship (LOL)

same chapter i did also really like that fubuki had a little moment w kurama who was starting to feel like he wasnt enough as a striker that he didnt put in as much effort as the first years n that the team didnt need him etc.... bc of course. fubuki went through that sort of stuff as well he used to think the same things etc. (though i was a little disappointed that that conversation was pretty much it and kurama didnt really get any more focus after that)

you may have read some of my complaints about tenma becoming captain and for like 2 episodes thinking he had to be exactly like shindou and do for the team exactly what shindou did despite playing a completely different role and somehow all the other members of the team kind of expecting that kind of leadership from him as well which was VERY weird. well thankfully we have none of that in the game since kurama clears things up immediately before the match. thank god. let out the heaviest sigh of relief when i read that

oh of course before i forget. of course in all versions teikoku is the resistances base of operations. however in the anime this is only relevant during the teikoku part and after that we just never mention it again. i REALLY liked that in the game teikoku very much felt like the actual heart of the resistance bc you go there a bunch of times for info meetings, but also for training away from fifth sectors eyes. theres a real purpose and use behind that status i was really happy to see it

^ related to this since thats where they come to train but i also really liked that you eventually see the teams who join raimons side again and they come back to help and support raimon in their fight by training w them at teikoku. like minamisawa and hyoudou, the kidokawa captain whatever his name is, some other team also but i literally dont remember. hakuren probably. it was also great that shinsuke brings out his avatar by training w sangoku and hyoudou fellow avatar-using keeper. bringing back the avatar resonance they mentioned at the very beginning w shindou and tsurugi twas awesome to see. actually im reading the wiki rn and what do you mean hyoudou also helped shinsuke w his keeper training in the anime. im shaking is my memory that bad? whatever i think the way he eventually brought out his avatar specifically was different anyway and it was better in the game.

literally not as significant as the rest in any way but i liked that nishiki seems very close w the kendo club lol. they were literally fighting the soccer club for him.... and thats where he trained his kick before the match against kidokawa. i also thought it was very interesting how in the kidou vs the team happenings he had a completely opposite stance to the rest of the team and distanced himself from them until they stopped whining about kidous training. i thought it was very fun for him to have such a different mindset from them after training under someoka (who was no doubt as strict and demanding of him as kidou is of the team if not more)

i know i thought there was more but i cant think of anything else right now. we will come back later. maybe

now for some rare game Ls. i thought the game might expand a little more on nishiki and midoris friendship (question mark?) the year before but there was nothing. they interact exactly twice iirc. one time when everyone is annoyed at kidou and nishikis like oh you big babies stop whining 🙄🙄 and she whacks him over the head and one time on the raimon twitter. crying

also i literally played this game for the amagi and mahoro chapter and was CRUSHED about how short it felt in the game... it ended so abruptly in the anime with the whole thing completely gone and forgotten by the next episode i thought for sure the game would treat me (gen'ei trio fan) better but they didnt even have a short scene w mahoro and amagi talking n reconciling after the match like in the anime.... cries. i did like kousakas more active role in it but i think i expected way more cuz i had heard about it from someone who hyped it up before dhfjhh

and lastly (because it was a really great game and i was pleasantly surprised a lot more often than i found stuff i didnt really like so thats all i have to say)

I didn’t expect to update on Azur Lane so soon but i kind of had to. There is a rerun Sardegna Empire event and i absolutely had to participate. My current quest is, in fact, the Ruskies but it’s hard to ignore the Italian faction considering they’re kind of my fourth favorite dock, after the KMS, IJN, and SN. I actually cleaned up during the last Itai event a while ago, doubling the amount of ships i had in that dock. Aquilifer's Ballade went a long way to my overall Fleet health, giving me a ton of experience and blueprints to finish out my then developing Kraut dock. Plus, i mean, Roma is a thing and i needed to own her so, you know, in for a penny, in for a pound. I ended up added all six of those Aquilifer’s ships to my dock so there is incentive to continue. So far, i have eighteen of the twenty-five available Sardegna ships and i kind of feel like i should go for the rest? I mean, i missed one of the reruns, Empyreal Tragicomedy, so i don’t know how feasible that would be. But, at the same time, i did roll Pola, Zara, and Littorio on random Banners so, maybe? At the very least, i didn’t let this particular rerun of Daedalian Hymn pass me by.

Not gonna lie, this sh*t was costly. This Banner dipped into my pockets heavy. I did not have the Gacha touch this time around. I am a little perturbed about that but, i mean, i rolled all of the available ships. I was looking to pop Aquila, and kind of only Aquila, but she didn’t drop until, like, three days into the event. I had secured every other ship available at that point; Vittorio Veneto, Libeccio, Maestrale, and multiple Nicoloso da Recco, so i was kind of frustrated. I was down under a hundred Wisdom Cubes, something i never do, but finally, Aquila popped. It was bittersweet because i ran through, like, two hundred Cubes to make this happen. Torricelli and Duca degli Abruzzi were a given due to the fact they’re both basically Point awards but getting to those Banner girls was f*cked up. Like, I'm not mad but i am definitely disappointed. Sh*t taxed my pockets more than chasing literally every Ultra Rare ship i own, and the Itais don’t even have a goddamn UR ship to their name! The f*ck? All that said, Vittorio Veneto's costume, The Flower of La Spezia, is top tier cheesecake, man. Live 2D never looked so good!

It’s nuts to think i spent all those resources and time on the grind, for, at best, a tertiary priority. Right now, my focus is on my Northern Parliament dock because those boats are gorgeous. I love their look, with all of the ice and dragon-like artillery. They have a very Iron Blood feel to them and we all know how much i love my Krauts. That said, not much has changed with my current grind. I mean, i was able to get Chapayev and Sovetskya to level 120, with Avrora bringing up the rear at 119. Every ship in my dock, right now, is fully Limit Broken, and I'm slowly, but steadily, leveling up their skills. It’s been a while since I've had such a tall order to fill. It took, what? Two years or so to max out my KMS dock? I imagine it will take much less time to top off my SN Fleet, however. I mean, they have, like, a third of the Iron Blood ships. I already have nineteen of the twenty-three. Literally only missing the boats from Kronshtadt’s event, Abyssal Refrain, and that has yet to have a rerun so I'm feeling pretty good there. I was able to construct Chkalov and have been on the grind to get her completed but that leaves me at a loss. I've be grinding out Hakuryuu blueprints with every intention of Constructing her next but, now that I have such a strong stake in my Sardegna dock, maybe I should go for Marco Polo? I dunno. Something to ponder, I guess? Also, I'm missing Tashkent for some reason because i have the rest of the ships from her event. It’s whatever, though. She can be my Ruskie version of U-110; The ever illusive ship i missed that may or may not bless my dock through unforeseen circumstances. Wishing well, I'm looking at you!

Which is ironic as fuck. He tried to destroy Al-Thamen by literally doing what they wanted to - sowing more chaos and disasters all around, which at worst could have led the world to an end (given Judar could cause Il Illah to descend, apparently). Idk man, put some make up on to the clown music, you fucking moron.

Like, don't get me wrong, I like Hakuryuu for the most part, but Jesus Fuck he's an idiot. This is why he's constantly painted as immature. Because he fucking is immature. He never thinks things through, has no patience to speak of once he snaps, and ends up just making everything worse for everybody and himself, and wakes up with a hand in the pot, because turns out he has no idea how to handle the aftermath of his stupidass choices, because he was too busy fucking up people's minds to consider what happens after the war.

My ramblings on finishing Magi and Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad and **SPOILERS for the whole series**

So to be fair, I finished reading Magi like a month ago. I just finished The Adventures of Sinbad like 5 minutes ago. For a short summary: I’m not a big manga reader but this makes me want to read every manga that has been adapted into anime. I’m planning on purchasing the whole series so I can reread it whenever I want to. For an out of 10 rating? All together it’s a 9/10 for me. It’s in my top 10 for anime/manga I’ve finished but idk where.

About the anime after reading the manga. I get why the anime started out like how it did but MAN when you read the manga the setup there is better. If my memory is correct, the manga starts with Aladdin and the anime starts with Alibaba. I’m guessing why they decided to adapt that was either because the mangaka wanted that or to make Alibaba fit as the protagonist more. It’s understandable but we’re with Aladdin more? Idk my mind was blown that they switched that much early on. That and some people will start a manga from where the anime left off, not from the beginning. And tbh? Now that I’ve rewatched Magi, anime kinda isn’t all that. The last time I watched was when I was 14-15 but it still left an impression on me. Not as good as I remember but the manga just fuckin destroyed the anime so whatever lol.

About manga past the anime. Tbh I’m still surprised at how good the manga got after where the anime left off. I still remember the shit leading up to chapter 260(I read like 130 chapters a day I was hooked). Like I finished 260 and just put my phone down and sat there until I went to sleep. I didn’t think I cared for Judal/Judar that much I was fuckin heartbroken. And Aladdin saying he didn’t have a choice and the look on his face ughhhhh shit fuckin SUCKED. Yeah I was going through it especially because before that you see Hakuryuu and Judal/Judar got along(was it that idk I was being feed a dynamic I didn’t know I needed let it be) and they’re not doing the good thing but whatever I’ve always liked Hakuryuu what do u want me to do?? The lead up was perfect and I want to reread Magi again just to get that led up to that fight again.

Now, the whole last arc? Kinda think I’m stupid lol. Sinbad just not stopping and I’m reading what he’s saying and I can’t completely disagree with what he was saying was frustrating for me. That and David being there(and finding out how he got there thx to the Sinbad spin-off) was a lot to take in which means I’m literally talking to myself abt this shit like a madman when I changed pages. I didn’t think it would go as far as it did with its subject matter so imagine my reaction when they start just fucking going at it the end between Sinbad and David. I had to put my phone down a lot during the end because I couldn’t understand what I was reading for a sec. Im not gonna reread the series for a minute because the stuff they were talking about is a bit too real for in my life and I don’t want to argue with my mom about fated paths and shit.

Overall I’m very satisfied. I got that hollow feeling in my chest after finishing both series and I’ll always be sentimental towards the series as a whole. I did some very cringe shit when I first watched Magi when I was young(listen I thought Morgiana was the coolest so let your imagination run wild) but I cherish those moments now. Not sure about recommendations but I very much enjoyed my time with this and I’ll remember it fondly years from now. But now my eyes are starting to unfocus so I have to stop typing lmao l8r.
