Things are a bit different,, Danny is Simba yes, Vlad is scar yes. Vlad kills Jack (as mufasa) :).. now for the different things,, Danny runs into the woods where he meets Sam and Tucker (replacing Pumba & Timon) and they basically raise each other. Jazz replaces Nala BUT they are siblings and the reason Danny follows her back is because tHATS HIS BIG SISTER!!!

DC only:

I don't have everything figured out for this one 😔

Damian is Simba,, Bruce dies :).. idk who scar would be.. the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE instead of a Pumba and Timon, Damian runs into the Batkids (ALL OF THEM, JUST A WHOLE FERAL PACK OF THEM) and stays with them :) no clue who Nala would be, don't care, I only care about the feral pack of kids uwu.

DC X DP:

Went back and forth with how to mash them and decided this was the funniest.

Danny is once again Simba with Vlad as scar,, same as the DP only one,,, Pumba and Timon are the pack of Batkids. Nala would be replaced by Sam AND Tucker :),, idk where Bruce is,, or jazz... This was mostly half baked but I needed to get it out

mgs somehow avoids feeling like queerbaiting to me despite pretty much meeting the definition. maybe it’s only queerbaiting when it’s used to sell tickets to hopeful fans, and Kojima is doing something a lot less cynical than that, he’s just genuinely entertained by the idea of his characters fucking, and enjoys the game of how strongly he can imply it before the plausible deniability is blown. or maybe the plausible deniability got blown a long time ago, though again, I think even after the sauna scene it’s still technically in place. barely. no actual romantic kissing or fucking was canonically done

I know basically nothing about the mediterranean bronze age other than it collapsed, but bronze is such a weird metal, it's impressive to me that the bronze age happened at all? You yourself can forge iron with caveman tools if you have the right background knowledge, but back then they built a whole complex society that relied on vast trade networks to bring copper and tin to the same location, and yet they couldn't figure out how to make iron!

And it seems to be a common if not universally agreed hypothesis that the widespread adoption of iron smelting disrupted these various complex Bronze Age societies and either caused or hastened their decline. And the eventual discovery of iron would of course always have superseded bronze, it's a stronger material made from a much more common ore, it just requires a much hotter temperature to work with. But it's weird to me that these bronze-based cultures were established in the first place and lasted for so many centuries before that happened!

I guess maybe it's all only obvious in retrospect.

Theory: what if Geoffrey wasn’t a good dad or husband. So I have nothing to back this up with but one narrative that has run through the episodes so far is that Geoffrey was a great person but he was too curious for his own good.

The curiosity thing is probably true but the idea that every stoat we met so far is just different shades of benevolent is pushing it.

Idk maybe I’m projecting my daddy issues but the idea that Tula would paint him as this good guy just for the sake of her kids isn’t far fetched to me.

Title: Dior You

Cast: Model!OC/Reader x Idol!Jung Hoseok

Plot: Model and ex-partner to Hobi is slotted for NYFW, unbeknownst to them it is for the collaboration between Hoseok and Dior. Lots of lingering looks and touches between fittings and the show. Until Hobi shows up at their hotel room after the event is over.

Notes:

Can be left as a behind-closed-doors romance or NSFW.

Plot progresses from the first model selection (written below), across multiple fittings, to the arrival in NYC, the entire show, post show and then back to the OC/R hotel room.

Their relationship ended because they were both too busy for each other. OC/R ended it, and Hoseok was understandably upset. So, they are wary of Hoseok, fearing that he still did not understand their motives. But Hobi does and is willing to take any samples of time they have together.

Starter:

The last thing you expected when agreeing upon your slot in the New York Fashion week was to run into your idol ex-boyfriend. Yet here he was, in all his ethereal beauty. Dressed in white pants that had unique designs over the knee and shin, a beanie rolled above his ears, dark wavy hair floating across his forehead and a denim jacket with the middle two buttons looped with the absolute audacity to not have a shirt underneath. Tempting your gaze with the silver lariat necklace that descended below.

“These are the models we have selected to showcase our collaboration-” Maria Grazia Chiuri, the creative director of Dior, guides Hoseok over to you and the other twelve models. 

You’re the last one and Hoseok takes his time regarding you, gaze beginning at your toes. Covered in the black doc martens he had bought you during your first autumn together. Trailing up your black tights to the Chanel skirt he had brought back from Paris as an apology for missing Valentines Day. To the tucked in, very fitted black turtleneck that you knew he owned the identical version of. Your outfit was a walking timeline of your secret relationship with Jung Hoseok, and you have no doubt that his eagle eye has recognized each of them.

He hums, beautiful fingers fanning across his chin in thought. Tips grazing the plush heart shape of his lips as he regards you down the slope of his nose.

“Can we put her in as the final?”

Your bulging eyes give away your shock as the other models hiss out hushed whispers of mutual surprise. 

Maria clicks her tongue, “we thought that you’d like to put Choi Sora as the finale?” 

As you expected as well. Sora was the embodiment of Hoseok’s gender fluidity, that you anticipated to be represented in this show.

“No, this is one of the most up and coming models. I’d like her to showcase my final outfit.”

Maria contemplates and eventually agrees after Hoseok mentions some of your accomplishments.

Thinking about Gem Lovejoy. In the last postmortem Gus mentioned wanting her to have depth and like, even though she’s a bad person, I don’t think SHE THINKS she’s a bad person. That’s what I got from her conversation with robin, at least. She knows she’s done wrong but I think everything she does comes from a place of love. She’s rationalized her actions because she thinks she has done is for the good of everyone. Yet, how did she end up with such messed up ideas of love and sacrifice? Did she once have a lover who died before her and that’s why she said that to Robin? What is her relationship like with Jack Lovejoy? Does she have siblings or a messed up family life herself? How did she become the matriarch of the family? Why make her kids pick a hobby? What’s her backstory and why? I want to understand her, and better understand her actions. Because just saying she’s evil lacks the nuance her actions have. She’s not TRYING to cause pain, or else there are a million things she could have done differently.

So mediation is that thing where you appoint some neutral third party to sit everyone down and figure out a solution that works best for everyone. It works pretty okay in a lot of scenarios, interpersonal and family drama mostly. But I think a lot of people try to use mediation as an approach to politics and economics, and this just does not work at all.
