Trick or Treat!!! (Fic writers edition) 👻 🎃 🕷️

hiii babes! have another silly drabble bc I can't stop apparently! ajhsjshs

This is their first Halloween as a couple, but Eddie said he just wanted to relax and hang out at home. (Buck hasn't moved in yet, but he's stopped thinking of his own loft as home long ago, way before they even started dating.)

But still, Buck feels like he needs to do something. No matter how small it is.

It might be silly but he loves this. He loves these little moments, these little commemorations that show how strong their relationship is and how much stronger it will get. He loves getting to have these firsts with Eddie— (First Halloween together, First Thanksgiving, First Holidays, etc.)

So, he sets his surprise up and knocks on the door, taking a step back as he waits for Eddie yo open.

"Why did you knock? You have a key, Buck."

"I know." He smiles, so big like the Cheshire Cat. "But look up."

A small, confused crease forms between Eddie's brows, but after a few seconds of staring, Eddie complies and looks up.

There, stuck right above the door, is a mistletoe— Wrapped in fake spider-webs and with a kittle plastic ghost glued in the center of it.

"What the fuck is that?"

"It's a halloween mistletoe!" Buck laughs, stepping closer and closer until he has his arms around Eddie's waist. "Now you have to kiss me. It's the Halloween law."

"That you made up."

"Just kiss me, Eddie." Buck definitely does not whine when he says that. (He doesn't!)

"You're a dork." Eddie snorts and rolls his eyes before leaning in and kissing Buck swiftly, his calloused hands cupping Buck's cheek like he's the most precious thing to ever exist.

The kiss is chaste and not that big of a deal— They've definitely had better kisses before. But it still fills Buck with that giddiness and happiness from the first time.

The Halloween Mistletoe is definitely the best idea he's ever had. (Or maybe second best idea he's had, right below asking Eddie out in the first place.)
