hi!! before i go i jus wanna say, I love your work 🙏🏽 and I finally watch hamilton last night so I might write for it as well 😋😋 but i have a drabble idea.
anyways— thomas having a dance/ball for a campaign during the election and he meets aaron’s little sister, mc, who snuck in. and he can’t help but take interests in her.
“Now, what’s a lady like you doin’ getting a drink just for yourself? Nobody’s offered to do that for you yet?”
Y/N froze as her fingers met the stem of the champagne flute. She had promised herself she would stay to the outskirts of the ball, and her only goal for the night had been to avoid courting attention. However, the packed room was warm, and it was only more so at its perimeter under the lights, and the crisp bubbly had looked oh-so-inviting.
She turned with a polite smile as she picked up the glass, but her eyes widened when she saw the man behind her with his gleaming smile and his velvet suit. She recognized him instantly; after all, she’d seen him before, and he’d even been in her home, but they’d never formally met. He raised an eyebrow when her smile faltered. “I’ve only just arrived. I haven’t had a chance to speak to much of anyone just yet.”
“Then I’m gonna have to count myself lucky to have found you when I did. Thomas Jefferson.” He offered her a hand as he introduced himself, and when she took it, he dipped down to press a soft kiss to her knuckles. Her eyes went even wider.
She cleared her throat as he drew himself back up to his full height, still holding her by the fingertips, and it took a moment for it to occur to her to withdraw her hand. “You’re the host of this ball, then, if I’m not mistaken. Thank you for opening your home to us like this.”
“Believe me, sugar, the pleasure’s all mine,” he said. “Who’re you here with? Feel like I’ve seen you around, but I can’t put my finger on it.”
“Oh, um, my family’s here somewhere. I came on my own, though, and I was planning to meet them here.”
“Your family?” He pursed his lips. “You’re not a Schuyler, are you?”
“No, no, certainly not,” she replied before hastily adding, “although the Schuylers are lovely people, of course. To be a part of their family would make one lucky.”
“So you know the Schuylers, then?” he mused, and she nodded. His growing smile was making her mouth go dry. “I know where I recognize you from; you’re a Burr, aren’t you? Aaron’s sister?”
“I am, yes.” Her smile was tense, laced with unease. His grin was bright as he plucked a drink for himself off of the table behind them.
“So why haven’t I seen you at one of these before? Your family trying to keep you locked away from all the politics?” he asked, and as her eyebrows fell, he could see the look in her eyes sour.
“They’ve decided I can’t be trusted at this kind of event,” she said bitterly, and he quirked a brow. “Aaron claims he’s afraid I’ll say the wrong thing and jeopardize his career, but really, I think he just can’t deal with the idea of splitting people’s attention between us.”
“But you finally proved yourself trustworthy?” he asked mildly, taking a sip of his drink, and she shrugged uncomfortably.
“I suppose so.”
“Then where’s your dear brother now, hm? Why aren’t you here with the rest of your family?” He watched her expectantly, and when she didn’t answer right away, his grin broadened. “They don’t even know you’re here, do they?”
“No, and you’re not going to be the one to tell them,” she said sharply, pointing her champagne flute at him. He raised his eyebrows, amused by the fervor in her tone. “I had to walk miles alone in the dark to get here; I am not being thrown out as soon as I arrive.”
“Well, sweetheart, if you’re not with them, then really, I should be sendin’ you on your way.” Despite the threat, his voice was breezy, and she frowned.
“And what do you have to gain from kicking me out?”
“The respect and appreciation of your family,” he suggested blithely. “The knowledge that I’m not leavin’ a young lady to walk home alone ‘n vulnerable at the end of the night. ‘S just the right thing to do, really.”
She eyed his small smile for a moment before slowly asking, “But despite that, you’d rather I stay, wouldn’t you?” He shrugged unabashedly. “You’re quite shameless, aren’t you, Mr. Jefferson?”
“Only on a good day.” He winked as he took a sip of his drink. “After all, you went through all that effort to get here. There’s gotta be a good reason for it, huh?”
“Of course. I’m here to expand my mind just like everyone else," she said, and he raised an eyebrow.
“And not for the charming future president we’ve got roaming the ball?”
“Oh, I wasn’t aware there was one. Let me know if you see him?”
His full laugh proved him undeterred, and Y/N’s self-satisfied smile was reluctant. "'M glad to see you inherited more of the family wit than your brother seemed to."
"Please, don't tell him that. A lady needs to keep some things a secret."
"It'll stay between us, then," Thomas said, "but I don't think I ever got your name."
"Why, so you know whose presence to report to my brother?"
"So I know who to ask after the next time I see him." His response was quick, and it had Y/N on her heels. Her eyes were wide, eyebrows raised, but when she opened her mouth to answer—
"Y/N." Both she and Thomas turned on their heels at the loud voice to find her brother striding across the room toward them, and her groan was unchecked. The fury in Aaron's voice was barely contained. "What in the world do you think you're possibly doing here, sneaking out after dark? How did you even get here?"
"I brought myself, since nobody else was willing to take me," she bit back, and Thomas raised his eyebrows as he took a sip of his drink.
"That wasn't your decision to make," Aaron snapped. "We are a family, and you have to respect that—"
"Respect what? That you have total control over my life in the name of family values? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?" she asked. "I respect that you have a career and a reputation to maintain, but I am a person, and—"
"And nothing, Y/N. Put the drink down, and leave Mr. Jefferson at peace," he demanded, and Y/N narrowed her eyes, her jaw set. Aaron turned to Thomas, and much of the fire in his voice had subsided when he said, "I'm sorry for her intrusion, Thomas. We didn't know she had followed us here, and we'll send her home at once."
"Now, Aaron, what makes you think she's uninvited company?" Thomas asked, and both Y/N's and Aaron's brows were raised. "Y/N's my guest here this evening; 's the opposite of an intrusion."
He frowned, glancing between Thomas and Y/N. "You mean you're responsible for her presence here tonight?"
"Well, I invited her, so I suppose you could say that," he said casually, and if he winked when he caught Y/N's eye, Aaron didn't think anything of it. Aaron's lips were pursed and his shoulders tense as he glanced between them.
"Why didn't you tell me Thomas had invited you?" he asked Y/N, and she shrugged.
"I didn't think you'd want to hear it, and I didn't want you trying to prevent me from coming."
"If I'd known he asked you to come—"
"So, what, my personhood is dependent on his permission now?"
"Your presence here is, at least."
"As a Burr, I would've been welcome either way."
"Not unattended, however."
"I can attend to myself just fine."
"You know that isn't what I mean when—"
"Aaron, was there somethin' else you needed?" Thomas cut him off, and Aaron's gaze was affronted when it snapped to him. However, he held his tongue. "I was just about to ask Y/N to dance, assuming that's her decision to make 'n all."
Y/N had to bite back her smile at his words, and although Aaron seemed to recognize the challenge in them as his jaw ticked, he said, "Of course. I'm sorry to have interrupted."
"Don't sweat it. Your concern for your sister is awful sweet, even if it isn't needed here," Thomas responded, his smile warm.
"'Concern' isn't how I'd describe it," Y/N muttered bitterly, and Thomas nudged her with his elbow. She frowned.
"Carry on 'n enjoy the rest of the ball, though, and please send my best to your wife," he said. Aaron could only offer a tense smile in response.
“You as well. I suppose I should go find Theodosia.” He looked down skeptically at Y/N. “How are you planning to get home?”
Y/N’s eyebrows shot up. “Oh, I…” She hadn’t thought that far, so her gaze was hopeful when it snapped to Thomas, who held her with a hand at the small of her back.
“I’ll arrange for a carriage to take her home,” he promised. “Don’t you worry, Burr. She’s in safe hands.”
“Right,” he said hesitantly, looking Thomas over. “I’ll leave you to it. Don’t do anything stupid, Jefferson.”
“‘S like you don’t even know who you’re talkin’ to,” Thomas said incredulously, and Aaron scoffed.
“I’m sure.” He barely spared them both another glance before departing unceremoniously, shaking his head all the while, and Thomas chuckled. Y/N turned back toward him.
“You’re a regular local hero,” she said sardonically, but the smile in her eyes betrayed her bored tone. Thomas grinned.
“I do try, sweetheart,” he said lightly, “maybe even in a way that deserves a ‘thank you’?”
“Thank you.” Her voice was sincere. “Really. I owe you.”
“Well, if you mean that,” he said, and his eyes were shining as he looked down at her, “I wouldn’t mind making good on that dance I mentioned. Unless you’re in a real rush to get back to your dear old brother.”
He offered her his arm with an eyebrow raised, and she left her empty glass on the table behind them when she took it, drawing a wide grin from him. “How could I say no to our charming host?"

It was a quiet morning in the middle of November. You woke up to a pounding headache, piercing stomach pains, and a dry, sore throat. You writhed around on the bed, willing the pain to go away. Your eyes welled up with tears and you whimpered in pain. “Mmm babygirl?” John whispered as he yawns and rolls over to face you. He sees your eyes welling up with tears and your face scrunched up in pain. “Hey, baby come here” he cooed as you put your head into the crook of his neck. “I-it hurts s-so bad” you sobbed into his neck as you tightly grasped his shirt. “Shhhhh where’s it hurt baby girl?” “My head, s-stomach and t-throat.” You whimpered out. John kissed your forehead and leaned over you to shake Laf awake. “Laf, hey, wake up babe.” Laf stirred and opened his eyes slowly. “What’s going on?” He asked sleepily. “Baby girl is sick” John said sadly as he rubbed your back. “Aww mon amour come here” he cooed and kissed your shoulder. He then placed the back of his hand against your forehead and hummed in disapproval. “You have a fever lovie” you whine and cuddle into Laf’s chest. “I’ll go find some medicine” John says as he climbed over Herc, waking him in the process. He grumbles but stops once he sees the state you’re in. “Awww honey” he coos as you look at him sadly with a pained look on your face. “H-hurts s-so b-bad” you croaked and your eyes welled up with tears again from the pain. “I know baby, I know” Herc said sadly as he moved closer and kissed your unusually warm forehead.
A few minutes later John comes back in with some pain pills, a glass of water, and some tea. “We probably should wake up Alex so he knows what’s going on” John says as he sits by your feet, rubbing your calf soothingly. John then stood up and shook Alex awake gently. “Baby, wake up. (Y/n) is sick” John said. Alex immediately woke up to that and sat up concerned. “Is she okay? Where is she?” He asked frantically as he looked around the room and spotted you cuddled in between Laf and Herc. “Awww lovely, what’s got you so sick, hmm?” You just shrug and let out a tearful sniffle. “I-I don’t know” you mumbled and snuggled your face into Herc’s shoulder. “Try and go back to sleep honey” Herc said quietly and stroked your hair. You nodded and closed your eyes.
Around an hour later you woke up feeling worse than before. Your stomach was churning painfully, and your head felt like it was going to explode. You then felt the vomit coming up your throat and you ran to the bathroom. You didn’t have time to shut or lock the door so of course the guys heard you. You heard Laf come into the bathroom and he sat down behind you. “Shhhh mon amour just let it all out” he soothed as he tied your hair back and rubbed your back soothingly. Once you were finished you leaned back into his chest in a fit of sobs. “H-hurts” you said in between sobs. “I know baby, I know” he whispered as he rubbed your stomach in soothing circles. “Lets clean you up then we’ll go snuggle on the couch” he says as he wipes your mouth with a cloth and picks you up bridal style. He brings you to the couch and lays you down with your head on Alex’s lap while he typed away on his laptop. “Feeling any better babe?” He asked while stroking your hair. You shook your head no and nuzzled your face into his stomach. Alex looked at you sadly and went back to typing.
~time skip~
It was around 5pm now and you were currently laying on top of John’s chest on the couch watching a movie you couldn’t remember the name of as you were in a fever induced daze. Herc brought you some more medicine about 30 minutes prior but you still felt just as sick as this morning. John noticed you dazing with a blank and tired look on your face and rubbed your back in soothing circles. “Go to sleep baby” he said softly and pulled the blanket up to your neck. You closed your eyes and wrapped your arms around his waist.
Around an hour later the rest of the boys had all joined you in the living room for a chill movie night. You were sitting in between John and Laf, with Herc on the reclining chair and Alex on his lap. There was pizza on the coffee table and you were happily munching away.
“You feeling better love?” Laf asks as he puts his arm around you.
“A little, thanks to all of you” you swipe happily and put your head on his shoulder, happy to have your boys.

Pretty in the Moonlight
Thomas Jefferson x reader
Summary; just missing your boyfriend and him missing you
Warnings; broken glass, cheesy Thomas

I wrote this forever ago

Tumblr media
Baby😘
y’know ur rly pretty, we should go out sometime
r u high again
highly in love with u
u do the cutest things
like what
exist
I smiled at my phone as I sat on my couch. I stared at what my boyfriend of almost a year said to me, happiness blooming in my heart. My phone dinged as another message came through.
Sick Boi 🤒🤧
are you texting him rn
like currently
?
wha
thomas, r u texting thomas rn
yes
dude he’s smiling at his phone mad hard rn
stop, my heart
i’m not kidding he’s smiling so much
I shut my phone off and squealed, kicking my legs into the air. Fast footsteps came down the hall to reveal the youngest Schuyler sister.
“What is it? What happened?” She asked quickly.
“Come here,” I motioned her over as her sister came behind her. Peggy sat next to me whereas Angelica and Eliza stood behind the couch, peering over our shoulders.
I opened my phone to show them the texts. Big smiles grew on their faces as they read Thomas’ texts, and then Peggy started squealing when she read James’.
“Oh my god, y/n, Jeffersons in love with you,” Angelica commented with a big smile.
“By the looks of it the feeling is reciprocated as well,” Eliza teased and I smiled, hiding my red face in my sweater paws.
Thomas’ sweater. I remember when he purposely ordered it a size too big for him (for my bigger girls who think they won’t fit into his sweatshirt, don’t sweat it, he needs bigger sizes for his big muscles and he likes his sweatshirts big on him as well, don’t worry about that my loves, body positivity) so it’d be baggy on me.
“Omg, you should go see him!” Peggy said excitedly, “When was the last time you left the dorm? You’ve been so busy studying, you haven’t had time to see him. He’s probably so emo about it,” She said quickly and I laughed.
“Okay, I’ll go see him,” I stood from the couch as the sisters dispersed and walked to my room. I put on a pair of sweatpants over my shorts because it was cold outside, and just slipped my slides over my socks. The combo might look horrible but it’s so comfortable.
I stepped out of the door, immediately shivering at the cold night air as I closed it. I could see my breath in the air as I looked at the moon and the stars, slightly smiling at the sight before my eyes. I truly am grateful it’s a sight I get the privilege to see anytime when the clouds aren’t out and concealing its beauty. The leaves on the trees sang as the wind passed through them, every once in a while a leaf would fall, signaling that winter was coming soon.
As I neared Thomas’ dorm room I heard voices inside, the dumbest thing the school’s done was put Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton in the same dorm room. I went up to the door and decided to silently walk in instead of knocking. The boys were arguing in the living room area of the dorm as James was trying not to have a coughing fit on the couch and Aaron was sitting at the island holding his head in his hands. John was nowhere to be found so I assumed he was next door with Laf and Hercules.
I silently walked over to the fridge, waving to Aaron who immediately noticed I was there. I grabbed a glass from the drying mat and quietly pulled the milk from the fridge, I barely paid attention to the fight that was happening as I poured my milk. I turned around and walked towards the island but tripped over something, in an attempt to not step on whatever I tripped on, I dropped the glass of milk. The glass shattered against the ground, successfully catching the attention of everyone in the room.
I gave them a sheepish smile, “Hi?”
“Darlin’, when did you get here?” Thomas asked, frozen in place.
“Like, two minutes ago. Now, where is the broom?”
Aaron pointed to the corner where the trash can was and I nodded as a silent thank you. Before I got the broom, I bent down and picked up the culprit for the tripping. John’s turtle.
“Here, I’ll put him in his enclosure,” Aaron offered and I smiled at him, handing the turtle over to him.
I went to get the broom, but Thomas ran and beat me there.
“Let me get that for you.” He said and I rolled my eyes, grabbing onto the broom, but he didn’t let go.
“Thomas, I made the mess.”
“It’s my dorm, and I’m stronger than you. I win."
I rolled my eyes again and defiantly let go. I began searching for a rag to clean the milk up with as he swept up the glass. Alexander threw something at me and I smiled at the rag in my hands.
“Thanks, dickhead.”
“Anytime, asshole."
After Thomas swept the glass I quickly wiped up the milk. Once I put the rag in the sink arms immediately wrapped around my waist.
“Hello, baby." I said quietly with a smile.
“I missed you.” He whispered in my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
“I’ve missed you too, my love.”
“I wanna go on a walk with you,” He mumbled.
“Okay, let’s go.” I gently unwrapped his arms from my waist and he reluctantly left my side to slip his shoes on.
Once he put them on he opened the door and gestured for me to exit. I did and he followed after me, quietly closing the door so as to not wake anyone. He held my cold hand, warming it up as we walked.
We walked in silence until we sat on a bench, looking up at the moon.
It was quiet until his voice cut through the air.
“Has anyone ever told you that your eyes sparkle in the moonlight?”
I looked at him beside me and smiled, “No, no one has ever told me that. And that's really cheesy.”
He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear (if you have long enough hair for that), “Shame on them. You’re so beautiful in the moonlight. And I love cheese so that's okay.”
“As are you, Thomas, and yes, cheese is delicious.” I responded as his face neared mine.
Our lips met in a soft kiss, his hand touched my cheek. My heart’s rhythm synced with his and our lips moved together perfectly, his thumb gently caressed my cheek, and my arm wrapped around the back of his neck. We pulled back for air, our foreheads resting against each other.
“I love you so much, mon amour.” He whispered.
“I love you too.” I whispered back with a smile.

I’m Willing to Wait for It. (Part 1)
Aaron Burr x f!reader
Set 5 days before the Battle of Long Island. Reader is a spy working for Washington.
There’s an upsetting lack of Burr x reader fics out there, so this is my contribution to the cause.
———
The young men from the army were a common sight to see, crowded up in the taverns near the docks in New York Harbour. Raucous, pissing themselves and unashamedly eying up the ladies passing by, they were a sight not to behold. You weren’t expecting to stay for long with such company if you could help it.
Brusquely you made a short circuit around the bar, eyes searching the room, but failing to find the familiar face of someone you were meant to meet with here.
Wolf whistles and the occasional lewd commentary followed you as you found yourself a little nook away from the larger crowds where you could wait for your friend. He had a habit of being late after all and you had time to entertain yourself with watching the antics of those solider boys parading themselves about like peacocks.
From the other end of the room, Alexander Hamilton and his friends John Laurens, Lafayette and Aaron Burr watched you with interest. You were new in this establishment which meant that you were an opportunity.
“Say, where’s Mulligan when you need him?” Lauren’s exclaimed. “He’d be kicking himself if he weren’t here to try and talk such a lovely lady into his bed.”
“I daresay that leaves her fair game to the rest of us then. She holds herself gracefully, I bet she must come from money.” Hamilton jokes.
“Who is she and what family does she belong to? I’ve never seen her before.” Burr questioned with intrigue. He gazed over toward her, and somehow, as if she could feel the heat of his eyes on her, she picked him out from the crowd and returned his stare. It was not a stare of charm, or abashed chasteness that greeted him, but more titillating, it was calm and assessing. His first instinct was to turn away in shame, but his experience made him hold her gaze and respond with a light smile. This was his chance.
“I have absolutely no idea either, but maybe you might care to tell us when you two have a little heart to heart over there, Burr? Looks like someone’s caught her eye.” Hamilton cheekily announced to their circle.
“Oui, you should move quickly mon amie, before another one gets the chance to talk to her!” Lafayette was always the brilliant optimist of their circle, pushing people to try their hardest in all sorts of situations even if the odds were against them.
Although Burr was quite sure that the odds would be in his favour this time.
“I’ll be taking my leave tonight then, gentlemen!” He said as he excused himself from the group.
Weaving around the crowded room, toward you, you saw the man who you locked eyes with was fast approaching. Aaron Burr, you noted. You knew of him and his genius predisposition as well as his status as a young man of growing influence. But you also knew from many accounts that he was an opportunist and a rake.
“Excuse me, my lady, I couldn’t help but notice your exquisite face from afar, may I know what sweet name belongs to a beauty such as yourself?” Without a moment more, he smoothly takes the seat opposite you before anyone else can.
“You speak so kindly, Colonel Burr, my name is Y/N.” You responded in neutrality, you would be waiting otherwise and you supposed that a little flirting wouldn’t hurt in the meantime.
“Ahh, I see that you know of me.”
“It’s hard not to when you’re living in New York. The gossip is always rife.”
“What brings you here tonight? It is unusual to see such lovely woman here alone.”
“I’m here for business, and I’m waiting for someone to arrive.”
“Business? A client?” Burr raised his eyebrows in surprise, was she an escort?
“Business related to the war effort.” You corrected with a blush, realising the misunderstanding.
“Ahh. I must ask what side of the war you are on then.”
Before you could answer again, the shadow of Hercules Mulligan, your contact, towered over Burr.
“Burr! I’m not surprised to see you here, and I see you’ve just already acquainted yourself with Miss Y/N.”
The look of curiosity crossed Burr’s face. How on earth did you know Mulligan? And what role did you play in the revolution?
At the arrival of your contact you relaxed, and without further ado, you turned to your admirer and began to shoo him off. “Mr Burr, I’m afraid Mr Mulligan and I will be discussing some things in private tonight, but it was lovely to meet you.”
“Burr’s a good friend, Miss Y/N and I’m sure he won’t let anything from this conversation leave our little circle, will you, Burr?” Mulligan countered, he must have trusted Burr a lot to let him in on the secret intelligence mission you were working on.
“Of course not, anything said here tonight stays between us.”
This was not the protocol you followed. But you knew Mulligan enough to know that he chose his friends carefully and that he would never invite someone that he didn’t trust to engage in such a sensitive conversation.
“I trust your judgement Mr Mulligan. Bring up a chair then and we’ll get started.”
Over the next hour you gave him explicit details on the movements of the British army that you had gleaned over the course of the week. Things that you were absolutely certain of and plans that were yet unconfirmed. Your position was unique in that it allowed you to move between the American and British side of operations without being questioned.
You were employed to teach the children of a long string of British officers who had started their families in colonies which put you in an advantageous and secure position to gather intelligence for the revolutionary cause. After all, the way to a parent’s heart is through their children, and nobody asks questions of a teacher who is adored by their kids.
“…and there will be an attack, five days from now that there is to be an attack on New York harbour and Long Island when the British fleet arrive. They’re expecting 10 line ships, 20 frigates and 170 transports. 32,000 men.” You said quietly.
“My god. We are unprepared for such conflict.” Mulligan exclaimed, flabbergasted by the revelation. Burr said nothing, although the colour drained from his face immediately. It must be hard to be in his shoes, you thought. The responsibility of leading these men to battle must weigh heavily on him.
You nodded, deep in thought. It would be a bloodbath. How many of these young mirthful men would be here again to tell the tale in 5 days time when all was said and done? Many had never even been in battle before.
“Is that everything you have to report today, Miss?” Mulligan started up again after a brief silence at the table.
“That’s everything.”
“Thank you for the information, I’ll be passing it on to General Washington as soon as I reach him tonight. Hopefully there will be aid for us or another way to defeat the British when they arrive.” Shaking hands with you, he took his leave, but not before turning to Burr. “You should be grateful we have a good spy network. Y/N is one of our best, you should thank her in advance for saving your ass.” He chuckled, clapping his friend on the shoulder before slipping off into the night, leaving the two of you alone again.
“I’m assuming this wasn’t quite the direction you were expecting tonight to take, was it, Colonel Burr?”
“Please, just Aaron. And no, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but thank you all for your service to the country.” He bowed his head in newfound respect and awe for your work.
“I could say the same for you. Aaron. You responded with a smile. You tested the name, it was certainly less of a mouthful than ‘Colonel Burr.’
“And I also trust that you will keep my position a secret from your friends?”
“They will be none the wiser, you can trust me.” Burr assured you.
“Thank you. I should be heading home now that Mr Mulligan and I have finished up. Your company tonight was most welcome and flattering, Aaron. I hope you’ll enjoy the rest of your night.”
“It would be my absolute pleasure to walk you home if you’d like. The streets here are not the safest at night and at the very least, maybe I can provide you with some entertaining conversation to pass the time.” Aaron pleaded.
“I wouldn’t be opposed, but I don’t want to deprive you of the company of your friends.”
“I don’t think they’re expecting me again if I’m being honest.” He said coyly.
Uh huh.
You fought hard to not wrinkle your nose in disgust at his suggestiveness. They were not wrong when they said he was reliable with the ladies. You absolutely were not going to be offering him tea and biscuits when you got home.
“It is late, and I won’t be able to offer you room and board at my home.” You warned him.
“The pleasure of walking with you is more than a reward for me.”
“Shall we get going then?”

Hi, if requests are still open and if you still write for Hamilton could I request an imagine where the fem!reader was Alex’s wife, they met and fell in love during the Winter's ball. And, she first met him when she was in the war (dressed as a man) but Alex never knew it was her until he found out himself. And maybe has a near-death experience fighting in a duel for any reason you want. And years later, she maybe becomes a lawyer/statesman or whatever as long as she's not a housewife and she finds out Alex had an affair and she like goes to Laurens for comfort but he ends up confessing he has loved her since day one when they met at the Winter's ball but saw she was so much happier with Alex (and it's kind of like an Angelica situation.) and how he would have never if he knew that was what Alex was going to do to her. And finally, he asked her to be with him. Also, could you please make the reader Washington's adopted daughter? I know it's a lot but even if you don't do it, thank you for just reading it. I just kinda wanted a lot of angst followed by fluff but since I can't stand the thought of having been with some who cheated on me and didn't love me, could you please make Alex still love the reader but realize if he wanted her to be happy, he would have to let her go and as soon as the Reader is thinking "You know what? I should forgive." He just dies. I feel bad for the Reader, not gonna lie. Thank you again. <33
Prompts: "May I have this dance?" (Hamilton to Reader) "Shit, are you bleeding?!" (Hamilton to Reader) “You need to leave. Right now.” (Reader to Hamilton) “You need to let her go.” (Anyone who seems right to Hamilton) "Those things you said yesterday… Did you mean them?" (Laurens to Reader) But hey, it’s up to you, I'm just giving suggestions on what I was thinking.
Note: And yes, in my fantasy world, Laurens doesn't die and is still alive in Act II.
😮😍 I love this request! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I hope you don't mind but I'm turning this into a two part.

Why does love hurt so much? Pt. 1
I was reading my book in my room when my dad, George Washington, knocked gently against the door. Well if you want to get technical he's my adoptive dad. My biological parents when I was young and was sent to the orphanage when George and his wife ,Martha, adopted me. I closed my book and put it down and called out "Come in!" When Dad came in I immediately knew that something was wrong. He was fiddling with his hands and his eyes cast down onto the floor looking frantic. "What is it father?"
"Y/N I need to tell you something," I looked at him curiously while Dad was looking like he was trying to find the right words to say. "There is really no way to say this but I'm going to go to war." He said this quickly and nervously watching to see how I'll react.I didn't respond, not at first I looked at him with a blank expression trying to comprehend what he just said.
"What?" He remained silent like he was waiting for me to tell, scream, or do something. "Let me come with you, I can help!"
"No! You're not coming, it's too dangerous."
"But you're going! You will be there to look after me and you taught me to use a gun since I was ten!"
"I won't always be there to look after you, I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you. Just promise me that you won't follow me."
I sighed in defeat "I promise." Dad came up to me and hugged me. I hugged back thinking about how I lied to his face.
I put my hair that's now shoulder length and tied my hair up. I looked down at myself with my uniform on with bandages over my breast to flatten them out. I nodded at my reflection in approval before walking out of my tent. My dad found out that I was pretending to be a man to fight in the war immediately but he kept my secret.
I approached my friends Lafayette, Hercules, John, and Alexander. We became friends quickly, and no. They have no idea that I'm a woman and plan to keep it that way. There is one problem, I developed a crush on one of the four men. It's Alex, I couldn't help it. He's passionate, smart, and kind. "Hey James!" Hercules called over to me.
Yes James is the name that I chose because it was my biological dad's name. "Hi." I responded, lowering my voice and octive to keep from sounding too feminine. I sat next to Alexander and joined in on the conversation before we heard a loud noise. We all turned our heads to see what it was. It was the red coats, we sprung into action grabbing our guns.
There was death all around us with an overwhelming smell of blood but we had to keep moving I killed a couple men before they could kill me first. Then I was a man aiming for Alexander about to shoot, without thinking I shoved him out of the way and took the bullet. All I could hear was a distant yelling at the word "James!" He quickly rushed over and got in my field of vision. "Shit, you're bleeding."
"You need to leave. Right now." I responded not wanting him to find out. Alex ignored what I said and ripped my shirt off and saw the bandages being soaked with blood. He looked shocked at first but knew it wasn't the time to talk about it and used my shirt to apply pressure to the wound and rushed me to the medics.

Yandere King George
Hamilton references. Hamilton references everywhere.
Tumblr media
Domineering, clingy and obsessive yandere. He would fall in love quickly.
And it doesn't matter if you fall in love or not.
This mf is the king of the British Empire.
He can practically do almost anything.
But if you rejected him, the servants would have to sing with him again.
Third time this week.
And it's only Tuesday.
An abduction that is not an abduction happens quickly.
George just one day announced that you are getting married and that you have 10 minutes to pack your things.
Awesome courtship *sarcasm*.
In "marriage" it would go so that he first and you then.
Would complain a lot about the situation in America.
With a song, of course.
He would definitely have a big picture of you on the wall too.
You don't know when he had time to paint it.
Escape would be difficult.
Because this mf still rules all of Britain.
Every citizen knows what you look like.
They also know that they will probably get the death penalty if they don't help catch you.
The death penalty is not a nice thing.
At least George gets to sing You'll be back.
And trust him YOU'LL BE BACK.

Sir Lewis Hamilton’s name was on everybody’s lips that sunny afternoon of June before the main event of the summer: the debutantes’ ball. Rumours went around the whole town of London that the Marquez’s son was in search for a lady to betroth after years of not attending any season. Hamilton’s name was on the top of your family’s tongues too that day – warning you to stay afar from the most eligible bachelor that everyone else craved to have as a suitor.
Tumblr media
preface:
The day you have prepared for most of your life finally had arrived and you were feeling more uneasy than ever before. You felt your sweat going down on the line of your back as your maid was tightening the corset above your waist. You nervously gulped as you pushed your shoulders back to look at your figure in the giant mirror that stood tall in front of you. A very unrecognizable person showed on the other side, and you were not that very pleased with what was seen before your eyes.
Doodled up from head to toes, dressed in a pretty suede mauve dress and with arms covered in light purple lace gloves that went up to your elbows, the woman looking at you from the mirror looked way different than the one who often chooses to ditch pretty dresses for her brothers’ stolen loose white shirts and pants. But today was important, today was not the day for you to be dressed in men’s clothing. You had to look the prettiest you had ever looked while not being too much, showing elegance and class – but how can you do that when your brothers only taught you rough aggressive sports and how to properly spit against the wind?
You looked outside the mirror seeing how the sun peaked at its brightest shape, and you knew that the middle of the day was near which meant that you would have to be ready in time to be presented in front of the Queen by the beginning of the evening.
You rehashed the speech in your head, even mimicking a reverence as you were memorizing for the thousands time how to properly introduce your name in front of her majesty. Y/N Leclerc, daughter of Baron Leclerc, sister to the three Leclerc brothers. Simple, efficient, short and to the point. And yet, why was it so hard to you to find the right pace of the words?
“Your Majesty,” You spoke out loud after you coughed twice to adjust the tone of your voice while trying to get a hold of your accent, “No.” You shook your head as the words seemed so utterly spoken from between your lips, “Your Majesty.” You tried again after you took a fresh breath of air in.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. It sounded all so wrong.
You sighed and looked at your right at a happily smiling maid that only tried to comfort you with her positivity, “You will do just great, my lady.” She softly spoke before a short paused in which she read the stiffen and annoyed facial expressions on your face, “I will bring Baron Leclerc to you after we are done here, I believe that he will best know what to say.” She then replied, arraying the locks of your hair for the thousand time that day to make them sit perfectly on the top of your already aching shoulders.
“Bring all of them in.” You sharply spoke, “They should be home, the morning hunting session must have been finished by now.” You added with yet another light annoyed huff, “I am so sorry for being this irritated, ma’am.” You apologized underneath your almost cut breath realizing how sharp and unkind your tone sounded with the one who has been noting but perfect in serving you as your main maid since you were a just a little spoiled daddy’s child, with the one from whom you learned how to act lady-like for the very moment you will be officially out in the social world.
Lady D, as you often liked to call the maid since her name was unbelievability complicated for you to pronounce as a child, glowingly smiled at you once more before gripping the strings of the corset and tightly locked them at your back in a small complicated ribbon that you swore no one in the world was capable of doing, “You do not have to worry about that darling, I know that today is a very stressful day for you.” She then kindly spoke as she took a step back to fully watch the imagine you were unable to recognize in the mirror, “You do look stunning.” Lady D encouraged, and although you appreciated the woman’s support through not only that day but all your young years in the absence of your dearest mother, you were not able to escape the feeling that you looked like an unshaped pencil.
Your shoulders shrugged again before being pushed back by Lady D, “I look stupid, ma’am.” You replied as you nervously started to walk across the room while talking and sporadically gesticulating, enhancing your tamed anger in front of your maid, “The way I look is not even the stupidest thing about today, Lady D. The stupidest thing is that I must look and behave in a certain way for a man to sway into my direction at the ball.” You exasperatedly cried out while still being attentive not to derange not even a string of hair with your hands so close to your face.
“Then, I have to make conversation with him and pretend that I am interested in whatever he will say just to convince everyone in the room that I am ready to marry and have kids, and built a family and be a good wife in his household just for him and his family to invest in me and my family and that it is just –” You stopped, the sound of horses neighing outside the window interrupting your brambling out of a sudden.
You glanced outside, and for a minute there your shoulder relaxed, and your speech calmed down a notch.
They were home, your family was home. You were basically able to hear your brothers' laughter through the window alongside with the familiar sound of Lady D’s husband shouting at the horses to stop. Lady D followed your glare, and you once you saw the corners of her mouth lifted in a small genuine smile, you understood that her family was back home too, and nothing made the two of you happier than their presence in that very moment. You dearly sighed softly, when will you be able to smile at a man who is not one of your brothers like that?
“I am not ready for what follows at all.” You ended, watching the three men you just earlier mentioned getting out of the family chaise to enter the mason with the thought of hurrying into your chambers, “If it was not for them, I would have stayed unmarried until the end of my days.” You mumbled, speaking for yourself rather than for Lady D’s ears to capture your bittersweet words.
The first familiar face to exit the chaise’s little woodened doors was Lorenzo, your older brother, and the now head of the family. Baron Leclerc, as everyone called him since the early death of your late father five years ago. You had always known him as Enzo and called him accordingly using the terms “big little brother” and “you sound just like father, my dearest brother”. From between your lips escaped a chuckle once you saw him looking up at your window, checking if you were ready to be seen. You threw in a little wave, and Enzo replied with a warm smile.
Enzo was two years older than you, and yet after your father’s passing, he had to take the household responsibility into his own hands, and that did not do him any good. Your big little brother had the most forced and rapid process of maturing amongst the four of you – Lorenzo had to, there was no other choice for your family to survive back then if he refused to do so. Therefore, although Enzo was not that mature in age, the man acted and behaved as if he reached an early maturity of a forty-year-old man and took the role of your protector against all the bad things in the world – including men, most importantly including men. You were the most grateful for your big little brother, not even imagining how your lives would have completely turned upside down if Lorenzo were not to take responsibilities for the three of you.
Baron Lorenzo was followed by Charles Leclerc, your fresh breath of air when times went rough in your family as they often had the tendency to do. You two were ten months apart, making him the oldest; fact that made Charles always believe that he had the upper hand in any of your arguments and there was nothing more that you loved about your relationship with him rather than to prove him wrong nine out of the ten times. With you two being the middle children, you grew up doing all sorts of mischief together as if you were twins with two weirdly coordinated brains. Your favourite ones being secretly shooting in the back of the garden or sneaking after midnight for a competition of horse-riding in the woods without anyone knowing.
The last one of the boys to enter the house was Arthur Leclerc, the one you would trade one of your limbs in exchange for the boy’s unlimited safety and love. Arthur was your biggest supporter and admirer from the very first time he uttered his first words. Listening every single time at the door when you had one of your language lessons, exercising dancing practices with you and happily sitting on the top of your piano while slowly cheering and clapping when you would play them melodies during Christmas mornings, Arthur loved to do them all. You swore to yourself starting from a very young age that if somebody were to hurt your youngest brother, you would be the one to murder them in cold blood with or without any assistance from Lorenzo and Charles.
Watching them going into the house and hearing their hurried steps on the stairs to come and see you, you realized that you would cause dreadful harm to anyone if they wrongly mingled with any of your brothers. No matter the cause, no matter the reason. Family always came first – always and forever.
The three of them were your whole family, and no one dared to touch your family due to that. Mother died young, months after having Arthur as afterbirth complications shortly appeared, and father followed years later due to illness. You had other relatives spread across the town and country that you had to falsely pretend to adore, knowing that they were after your money and social status. And yet, none of the mattered. All they wanted was to spread rumors and listen to prefabricated lies about you and your brothers.
You were a Leclerc, and that was all that mattered.
“I am so jealous that they do not have to all of this yet.” You spoke, thinking about how your situation as a woman was far different from the one of your brothers.
They were all happily unforced to marry yet. You? On the other hand. Oh, you were getting older, and no one wants an old maiden to marry.
Lady D agreed with a silent nod as Enzo’s knuckles impatiently knocked on the other side of the door, “Men always had everything easier, in my next life I want to be reborn as one of them.” She commented as she threw you a sly wink, unlocking the door for your brothers to all barge in at once.
You nodded back with a tiny smug on your face. Lady D was moderately right, you too wanted for your next life to not be revolved around the idea of marriage, and yet in your next life you would perhaps not be this lucky to have them three as your family. Therefore, being Lady Leclerc sounded just right for the moment, living in the same mansion as your brothers and sharing your life with them for long as your unmarried happy life permitted.
“You look astonishing sister!” Arthur was the first one to affirm once they stopped in awe at the entrance of your chambers, covering his mouth in wonder as he took few steps in, Arthur continued with the loads of compliments, “I have never seen you in such a beautiful dress!” He then argued, getting closer to take a better look at the intricate lace print of your gloves, “Are these mom’s?” Arthur then asked with widened teary eyes that you adored staring back at you, although your heart ached every single time Arthur mentioned your dear mother as you knew that your youngest brother had never escaped the guilt of your mother’s death.
You softly smiled to him as you took Arthur hands in yours after nodding, “They are, she wore these when she met father.” You spoke, “Enzo offered them to me as a gift.” You added, gently looking into your big little brother direction, “I will keep them in good condition so you will gift them to your future wife.” You teased, knowing very well that the idea of marriage was an estranged feeling for the twenty-two-year-old boy.
“They are perfectly made for you, sister.” Enzo added, leaning on the now closed door behind Lady D’s exit after a short reverence from her side in front of him, “When was the last time I specifically required Lady D not to kneel in front of me anymore?” He then asked, making sure that your maid was unable to hear him anymore, “I hate when she does that, it makes me feel so dirty.”
Charles’ short giggle filled the room, “Because she is forty-five?” He then asked, “I am pretty sure you had older women than her kneeling in front of you, brother.” Charles then teased, throwing you a short wink as your favorite topic of discussion when you two were alone were Enzo’s affairs, “Arthur is right sis, you do look astonishing in this dress.” He then added as Charles also came closer to you and Arthur to look at your dress from head to toes, “You might even make Sir Hamilton’s neck turn.” Charles then chuckled, picturing the whole imagine of envious women watching the whole scene as he indulges in bourbon in one of the ballroom’s dimmed lighted corners.
Lorenzo had decided to drop any reply to Charles’ nasty comment or to scold you for your short chuckle as a response to Charles’ wink, and yet he was not able to hold back when he heard the name that just came out of your brother’s mouth, “You will make a lot of necks turn, anyone but him – you are not allowed.” Enzo then spoke, and you knew that judging by the seriousness in the man’s tone that he was indeed not joking around as Charles was.
You knew how Sir Hamilton was, everybody knew who Sir Lewis Hamilton was and everybody had heard that he will be present that night at the ball – first time ever for him to do so. High rank in the aristocracy, friends with the royal family, clean reputation with business partners, and a good son to the Marquez and Marchioness Hamilton with the exception that he refused to marry by now preferring to study aboard and see the world before doing so.
Not to mention, devilishly handsome as you often heard people talking about him during your social gatherings, extremely humble for a man his status, gentle with everyone he had ever meet in public, and educated in most topics that existed. You have never had to chance to meet him in person, thought.
As if somebody carefully orchestrated that, and now that you heard your brother’s serious tone and saw Enzo’s furrowed eyebrows, you suspected that Lorenzo was the one to blame for not letting you get a hold of a sight of Sir Lewis Hamilton yet.
“Why not him?” You inquiringly asked Enzo, “I thought he will make the top of your list.” You then added, knowing that Lorenzo had all it planned for you and your family business-wise with any eligible suitor in town, “From what I have heard, the Marquez’ son fits all of your criteria.”
Oh, how many things you have heard of him.
There was no one in the whole town who was more surrounded by mystery rather than the figure of Sir Lewis.
As the Marquez’s son was rarely in town, people gossiped about him at all social gatherings that you and your brothers attended: some said that Sir Lewis was one of the Queen’s illegitimate sons, and that was one of the reasons why he was never seen in her presence although everybody knew that the Hamiltons were in good relations with the royal family. You never quite believed that rumor or anything else that was said about him, and yet part of you was very much very intrigued by this character – as all town was.
Lorenzo let out a deep sigh, “What about your criteria Y/N?” He then breathed, “Do you want a self-centered selfish man as your husband?” Your little big brother inquired, sending a look of disapproval by shaking his hand.
Your eyebrows frowned in confusion, “How do you know he is all that? From what I know the Marquez’s is barely even here.” You replied, seeing Lorenzo all defensive about this enigmatic character of a man.
Charles commented as he stroked one of your shoulders for reassurance and comfort all together, “We happened to stumble across him at the club quite a few times sis, trust Enzo when he says that Sir Hamilton might not be the best choice for a husband.” He then spoke with a light smile, “You will do turn his neck, and you better leave it turned. That is if he attends.” Charles highlighted with yet another soft chuckle, “You can do better than a Marquez.”
Your eyes slightly rolled, “Like who? A prince?”
Arthur nodded, “You can definitely lure the prince looking like this!”
You stroked the boy’s hands, Arthur showring you with compliments was so familiar and yet so surprising every single time, “Thank you.” You softly spoke, “What about you Arthur? What do you think about Sir Lewis Hamilton?” You asked, knowing that Arthur would be the one amongst the three of them to support even your dumbest decisions.
“I am as clueless as you sister, I have never meet Sir Lewis in flesh and bones.” Arthur spoke, “They never take me to the club!” He then argued, sending sharp looks towards his older brothers, “Something about being too young to play chess and watch people fight.” He then commented, looking straight at Lorenzo who was the one who vehemently opposed to Arthur becoming a frequenter of the club the two of them enjoyed.
“That is what you do there?” You argued too, “Play chess and watch people fight?” You inquired while switching glares from Charles to Lorenzo, “Sounds very boring my dearest,” You paused as you patted Arthur’s light ruffled chestnut hairs, “Lady D’s stories are more interesting that what these two are up to.”
Arthur agreed with a nod, “They do not deserve me in that club anyways, sis.”
You and Arthur both approved at the same time with yet another nod, making Lorenzo and Charles laugh at your synchrony. If you could choose a moment to freeze in time, this would be it. The four of you laughing together in the same room, all of them admiring you and you admiring them back. And yet, reality was that you had to find a good enough man to leave them for their own sake.
Baron Leclerc was doing a good job maintaining the family’s status, and yet you were slowly yet surely running out of money to live a comfortable life as Lorenzo was not enough to provide goods for the entire family and the few remining servants that you had in your mansion.
You sighed for the thousandth time that day thinking about the way in which you had to repay them for being your brothers, “Fine boys, leave me and get changed into fancier clothes. We need to be at the palace in less than three hours.” You demanded, unclasping your hands from Arthur, and giving Charles an anxious look, knowing that he was the one who understood you the best when it came to your emotions.
“You will do great sis.” Charles then softly spoke, stroking your shoulder for one last time that afternoon before they went to their chambers to prepare themselves for being your three wingmen while also acting like your protectors.
“We are here for you, Y/N.” Enzo spoke at the door as he was the one to close them back, “Always and forever.” Your brother then ended as the door were closed not only after giving you the same warm smile that Lorenzo got you used to since you were children.
“Always and forever.” You mumbled back, knowing that the “always and forever” meant being away from them for the remining of your life.
The atmosphere back at the Marque house was far different from what was happening at your place. Sir Lewis was back home for almost two months now, and yet no one saw him outside except for maybe the people that were members of the Gentlemen Club that he frequented. Such a pretentions name for what was really going on there. The chess and watching fights that your brothers mentioned to you were only two of the surface things that took place there. The parts where they would play poker for money and watch ladies dancing almost naked on top of tables while they take handful sips of bourbon and smoke cigars were left outside the discussion. It was not the ideal place to be, and yet your brothers much like Lewis went there to get a pause from whatever life was stressing them for.
For Lorenzo and Charles was keeping the family together by attending events in high society at the club with the ideal of forming business relationships over placing bets for people fighting in the ring, and as for Lewis quite the opposite.
Ladies and alcohol were the two things that interested him, wanting to have little escapades from the pressure of being the Marquez’s only son. Not the ideal place to be, and yet Lewis would have wished for that afternoon to be spend there or anywhere else in the world far apart from his home where her mother tossed a huge list on his bureau with eligible women to meet at that evening’s ball.
“Explore them and let me know what you think, you can cross names off the list after you talk with them at least once at the ball.” She demanded, pointing at the top of the list where the name of Queen’s daughter stood tall, “She is eighteen now, and the Queen is more than happy to send her off.” She then spoke, attentively watching her son taking a glance over the names.
Lewis heavily huffed as he stood back into his chair to relax his already tensed up muscles, taking the list in both of his hands just to please his mother, “Do you really want me to marry a child just because she is a princess?” He then argued, two fingers now standing at the top of his upper lips as he counted all the ladies’ names, “Thirty-five?” Lewis then gasped in shock, “You want me to talk with thirty-five people this evening alone, mother?!” He then argued again, knowing way too well that he was not willing to do so.
The Marchioness nodded, “And I expect you to like at least ten, and we will see from there.” She then spoke while tapping her fingers on the wooden surface, “We have let you experience life on your own too many years.” She guilty-trapped him while using the sweetest tone a mother can use when they want to manipulate their children, “Your father is deeply sick, and you need someone to rule this whole estate with a woman that can bear your children. That is our last wish as your parents, Lewis.”
“I will try.” Lewis promised, glancing at his mother’s pleading face and then back to the sheet in front of him full of names until the very one to catch the man’s attention was the last name wrote in cursive at the bottom at the page, “Lady Leclerc.” The man mumbled, fingers back on the top of his lips as he let your name being out of his mouth as if it has always belonged there, “Why is she on the foot of the page?” Lewis inquiringly asked, giving his mother a confused glare.
The two Leclerc brothers were very much just acquittances of his, and yet amongst all the names that were written on the pages yours sounded the most familiar and your face the most well-known.
You have never got a hold of Lewis’ sight, although the man got one of you years ago when you were at arms with Lorenzo cruising through the park near the lake in one late fall afternoon of October.
It was something about the way you looked, something about the way you clasped your hands together to blow hot air into them to warm yourself up, something about the sound of your giggle at one of Lorenzo’s bad jokes that Lewis never seemed to forget.
Lewis wanted to say ‘hello’ back then, to introduce himself and to politely ask your brother about your situation as he was struck by lightning at your mere presence ten feet away from him. And yet, Lorenzo’s sharp look over his shoulder pierced Lewis harder than your beauty.
Months later when he was back home visiting during his studies break, Lewis met Lorenzo at the club and asked about you and your full name. Lorenzo then laughed straight into the man’s face not wanting to disclosure anything about you. Lewis understood right from there that you were off limits, and not wanting to get into a fight with the Leclerc brothers, stepping outside was the right move.
And yet, two years later there you were – on the bottom of his mother’s list meaning that you were going to be out in the social world for the very first time as a woman who wants to marry.
“She is an orphan, daughter of the late Baron Leclerc.” The Marchioness shortly replied, “Her three brothers take care of her since they were children as they had to rise themselves since the father was occupied with business affairs rather than taking good care of them, she has no mother-figure to teach her the rights and the wrongs of being a good wife.” She then crudely added, “Her family does not have that much money left since their father died, and quite a few proprieties under the Leclerc name for a Baron.” Lewis’ mother continued, “The only reason why she even made it on my list to begin with is that her father has a small cousin connection with one of the Queen’s half-sisters and I happen to know her late mother very well.” The woman softly sighed, “Poor girl, to be part of such a damaged family with no mother by her side to guide her.”
Lewis pondered his mother’s words. And yes, as harsh as they sounded – the Marchioness was right. In the eyes of such people as her, you were just a poor girl from a damaged family where the parents left too soon and nothing more. You have been stigmatized almost whole adult life for being an orphan, and so were your brothers. And yet, what everyone was unaware of was the happiness that you four shared in your ‘little too-tiny’ house for a Baron.
“I know her two eldest brothers.” Lewis spoke, “They do not look poor.” He argued with a smug on his face, remembering all the times in which Charles ordered the most expensive bourbon from the bar to share with the entire room while Lorenzo was already hammered on one of the seats after closing a good deal with the Duke of Hastings, “She does not look poor neither.” He then added while the smug widened on the man’s face, remembering how your neck was covered in pearls that fall afternoon and how beautifully your face was illuminated by the sun’s relaxion in them, “She looked beautiful.” He lastly covered, reminiscently curving all the details of your face from that one single day.
“The princess is even more beautiful.” The Marchioness bluntly spoke, “Now please go and get dressed, we have to go in less than three hours at the palace.” Lewis’ mother demanded, and the man had no other choice but to listen.
Your knees weakened once you were at the top of the stairs, getting ready to be announced in front of the Queen. Charles and Arthur were next to your trembling body as Lorenzo was waiting for you at the end of the stairs to clasp your hand with yours and hand you in front of the Queen who was already bored of all ladies before you who gave her nothing but tacky lines and poor curtsies.
There were three more debutants before you, and you felt like the world was about to collapse once one of them stepped aside and her name was loudly announced.
“I will trip and fall.” You whispered to both of your brothers, “Can you please take me back home?” You desperately pleaded, grabbing Charles by the collar of his white shirt with both hands while looking at him, and then at Arthur whose emotions might have been even bigger than yours.
“You will not trip and fall.” Charles assured you while searching for something in the insides of his suit, “Here, for courage.” He then spoke, showing you the tip of a metallic flask which you were sure was filled with the finest of Charles’ bourbon collection.
Not giving it a second thought, you fetched the flask from Charles’ suit and secretly took a huge sip of the liquid as Arthur and Charles covered for you, “Do not tell Baron Leclerc about this, Enzo is going to be so mad knowing that you are trying to get me drunk to meet the Queen.” You chuckled as Charles quickly took the flask from your hand to place it back at its rightful place.
“Secrets are always safe with us, sis.” Arthur assured you, watching you take yet another two steps as it was rapidly your turn to get down the stairs of hell, “See you on the other side.” He then teased, placing a short kiss on the back of your hand before letting you go.
You took a deep breath in, and once your name was announced loudly in the room your body went on automatic pilot. You had no idea how you managed to go down the stairs without holding the railing, with your back straight and your shoulders pushed back just as Lady D thought you, and yet you successfully achieved to do so while looking elegantly radiant. Once you got a hold of Lorenzo’s hand in yours, you shortly exhaled in relief and your muscles relaxed underneath your brother’s touch.
And yet, once the eyes of the Queen looked dead into yours, your heart started beating faster than expected and your words seemed to not find their ways out.
Your hand got slightly squeezed by Lorenzo and you saw Charles and Arthur in the crowd behind the Queen, your mouth opened with class and beauty - they truly were your anchor.
“Your Majesty.” You spoke, clam and controlled as you greeted the Queen with a short reverence, “Y/N Leclerc, daughter of Baron Leclerc, sister to the three Leclerc brothers.” You added while looking at the ground, lifting your glare up just for a moment in which your attention was not fully focused on the graceful woman standing on the chair in front of you, but rather on a pair of dark-arson eyes watching you from behind her shoulder.
You went silent as your glare was caught by the man to whom the black panther’s look belonged. It was him who looked at you with interest, it was him whose name you knew very well but never met in person.
And yet, you were not then aware that Lewis’ eyes were all on you while everybody else was closely watching the Queen’s reactions.
Sir Lewis Hamilton’s memory was right – you were just as beautiful as he remembered. Your lock of eyes lasted for way too short for you to figure out who was eyeing you back, and you were too caught in the moment to analyse the look.
Your back straightened, your shoulders were then again automatically pushed back as you were waiting for a sign from the Queen who was analysing you from head to toes for a good moment before a short smile appeared on the woman’s face.
“You smell like bourbon.” She then commented, and the room went quiet.
Your eyes widened, and so did Lorenzo’s. You felt Charles and Arthur looks on you then, absolutely forgetting in an instant those dark-arson eyes on you.
You wanted to say something, and yet you were taken aback by the following sentences that came out of the Queens’ mouth, “I do enjoy my occasional sip of bourbon as well, Lady Leclerc.” She then spoke with an even wider smug now on her face, “Please do enjoy the night.” She continued, and then everybody else around her loudly clapped.
It was for the very first time when she pronounced one of debutantes’ name, let alone whishing one of them to enjoy the night.
“Thank you, Your Majesty.” You simply and effective responded before Lorenzo took you out of the spotlight and went straight to your brothers who were happily giggling once you arrived at their spot.
“Which one of you morons gave Y/N bourbon?” Enzo whispered in between his scrunched teeth, making sure that no one around you four can hear him.
Charles’ eyes went on the celling, and Arthur followed suit in a split of a second. You covered your light chuckle with your hands, “I think we need to thank whoever did it,” You commented while titling your head towards your little brother’s side, “I made the Queen smile.” You added, and Enzo had no other choice but to drop the scolding in front of his youngest siblings seeing how outnumbered he was.
You took a short look around for the man whose eyes arose in the back of your mind again after the moment with the Queen was passed, and yet there was no sight of the man around you or your brothers.
“Come on Y/N, I have to introduce you to some people.” Lorenzo demanded, grabbing your hand again in his to closely shelter you next to him and your other two protectors for that night.
You sighed, “Fine.” You spoke, taking one last look over your shoulder lusting to find the one that resembled the black panther from earlier and yet being unsuccessful to do so, but being left only with the craving of satisfying your curiosity.
Lady Leclerc, Lady Leclerc.
Your name rumbled into Lewis’ mind as he was roaming around the ballroom trying to talk with as many women as the Marchioness demanded him to do so.
Lewis’ mother was closely watching him from across the room, still calculating each step of her adult son. The reason why Lewis’ eyes went away from yours as you were introducing yourself to the Queen was the Marchioness who hurried him to find a spot next to a couple of women who were already introduced before you.
Oh, Lewis needed to please the Marchioness quick, and the Marquez’s son had decided to do that since the very beginning of the evening so they could leave earlier from that hell of a ball.
The beginning of the evening was exhausting for both of you. Lorenzo and Charles introduced you to as many people as achievable, while Lewis had to introduce himself to as many women as imaginable.
Statistically it was unlikely for you two not to meet at some point during the evening, and yet your brothers made sure that Sir Lewis Hamilton was not in your way.
Charles was the one to search for Lewis in the crowd and inform Enzo, and Enzo was the one to move you like a pawn during a very elaborate chess game. There was no way in which they would permit him to be in your proximity – and they had to make sure that you were not accidentally into his.
While all of that was happening, you and your little brother were completely clueless about your eldest brothers’ plan, and you just smiled and talked and then smiled and talked some more, you smiled and you talked until your mouth hurt from that much smiling, and especially that much talking.
You needed a break – both of you were. Lewis was as exhausted as you to pretend to want ladies’ attention which he anyway got no matter how hard and little he tried. All of them were interested in the same topics, all of them used the same prefabricated lines, and all of them told him straight away how many kids they desired and how good of a wife every single one of them were.
When the dancing started and you firstly picked Arthur to dance with, your brothers were left with no other choices but to invite other two ladies and dance. They had to be around you, they wanted to be around you for you not to make move or say the wrong thing and you were feed up already by their schemes.
“Little brother, I need your help.” You pleaded Arthur as you two were dancing together, “I need a break from this.” You almost cried out, “Can you be my diversion?” You spoke, and you knew right away that Arthur will never say no to one of your pleadings, “I will sneak out for a fresh breath of air only for five minutes and be back, make sure that they do not notice.” You spoke, titling your head into Enzo and Charles’ direction.
Arthur agreed right away with a nod, no matter how much he feared to leave you alone unsupervised. You have shown him that although you are a woman, you knew way better than himself to take care of you. You needed an out, and Arthur was more than willing to help his sister.
You sneaked out on one of the balconies in dance steps, while Arthur took another woman to dance with as he threw you a grin on your way out. You had time only for a couple of minutes before the music stopped, and that was more than enough for you.
And yet, what you were unaware of was that during your little sneaking method, Lewis bumped into you, the man was planning the exact same thing as you – alone, five minutes, on one of the balconies of the palace.
Once you got out the whole charade and let your lungs freely inhale the evening’s piercing fresh air, your whole body relaxed against the palace’s wall. With your hand at your chest, you kept playing with the tiny purple diamond that was tucked in your dress by now, swirling the neckless in between your fingers.
It was the first piece of jewellery that your father gifted to you, and now having it in your hands made you less anxious at the thought that you needed to go inside and be social for the rest of the night in hopes that you will find a potential husband. Lucky enough, your potential husband followed you outside the ballroom and was now taking his first steps into your little world. Without wanting to cause you a heart attack,
Lewis coughed twice to adjust the tone of his voice and to make his presence acknowledge at your back.
You slowly turned to look over your shoulder, thinking for a split of a second that it was either Enzo or Charles that wanted to scold you for sneaking away and not at all expecting to find the darkened eyes of the black panther staring back into yours as they shortly did hours ago. Your entire body froze, and not in the way that it froze on the top of the stairs, but in a way that it was shocked on how exhaled it was to be in the man’s presence.
Seeing him from head to toes and standing in flesh and bones right before you, you put all the heard description of the man together and you figured it out that your gut instinct was right back there – it was him, the one that everybody wanted as a suitor and who your brothers from some unknown reason detested.
“I apologise, my lady.” Lewis softly spoke, not daring to take any step further to not frighten you no more, “I was not aware of somebody being here.” He then lied, casually resting his shoulder on the door frame with both hands clasped at the front, “And yet, now I cannot leave a lady alone in the dark.” He then spoke, Lewis’ eyes fixing on the swirl of your finger against the purple diamond.
You chuckled, “I do appreciate the effort, my lord.” You commented, “And yet, there is enough light coming from inside, and I am only inches away from my brothers.” You spoke with a care choosing of your words, “This lady actually enjoys being in the dark alone in silence, my lord.” You added, watching Lewis’ lips being pressed together in tension every time you finished your sentences by calling him “my lord.”
Lewis wanted to make a step back and go inside, and yet at the same time it was not just you who lured him on the balcony. The man needed silence for his own good, “I was searching for the same thing as you, Lady Leclerc.” Lewis then spoke, and you were awed once again that night by someone calling out your name in such a manner, “Do you mind if I join you in silence?” He then asked, and there was no way in which you were able to refuse such an offer.
You agreed with a nod, and Lewis permitted three steps of a slow yet powerful pressed walk on the balcony finding a spot for his body close to yours and yet distant enough for people to not interpret something if they were to witness your very first dialogue.
“You know my name.” You commented with your eyes closed, engulfing in the sounds of the evening alongside with the voice of the man that close to you.

Don't mean to pressure you or anything but I really miss fotp and that last chap had me wanting to tear my heart open (TT)
If you're up for it, can I request for a short fluff abt mc and president t's marriage life? Or if you're still feeling villain-y, an angst will do! 😚
Hope you're having a fine dayyy, love all your works btw! 🫶🏻
astralaffairs villain era canceled. let me also refer u to late nights & speech writes for some president thom husband material
‐----------------
“And where the hell have you been?” Strong hands grabbed Y/N by the waist the minute she locked the door behind her, and she squealed, stumbling over the hem of her long dress as she was pulled into a strong body. Rough wool scratched her bare shoulders. “‘S late. A woman like you shouldn’t be out all on your own like this. Who knows what coulda happened.”
Her laugh was breathless as Thomas kissed her neck, his stubble harsh against her skin, and her hands came to cover his as his arms wrapped around her waist. “Oh, please. I don’t think I’ve left the White House in the last 72 hours; I’m not exactly looking for trouble.”
“So why’ve you been out all night, hm?” He nipped at her earlobe, but she rolled her eyes. “Who’ve you been with all this time, sugar?”
“That Russian ambassador who did not want to hear that I have an early morning tomorrow,” she said dryly. “This is the worst part about state dinners. All the old men in the room still talk to me like I’m their young prospect rather than a peer in government who’s here as my job.”
“They’re all goddamn relics; don’t let ‘em get to you,” Thomas said. “They’re dinosaurs, and they’re gonna be dead in a few months, anyway.”
“At this rate, they’ll also be running entire countries when they’re on life support,” Y/N grumbled, and his laugh was sardonic.
“‘N they’re still gonna be tryin’ to hit on you when they’re hauling oxygen tanks around here behind ‘em.” He turned her around in his arms, and her drained expression made him frown. Her eyes looked empty. “‘M sorry you don’t get the respect you deserve at these events, though, sweetheart. Wish there was something more I could do."
"I don't expect you to be able to end all sexism in government, believe me," she said, reaching up to loosen his tie. "Doesn't help that they all see you as the ultimate guy's guy, though. Thomas Jefferson, the good all-American trust-fund baby who loves steak and baseball."
"Maybe I'll eat some tofu 'n take up figure skating," he suggested mildly as she slid her hands under the collar of his blazer, pushing it down his shoulders. He withdrew his arms from her waist for just long enough to shake the jacket off, discarding it on the chair by his desk in the corner. "I've always thought there was a whole lotta power in embracing the traditionally feminine."
"Sure you have," she scoffed. He grinned, taking a step back toward their bed with her in his arms as she started undoing the knot in his tie. "You regularly smoke cigars with foreign heads of state to celebrate national alliances. You're the epitome of the boys club."
"Hey, I smoke the cigars with women holdin' office too," he defended. She slid his tie out from the collar of his shirt.
"You're truly a feminist icon." The words were ironic as she pulled his button down out from where he'd tucked it into the waist of his pants, walking him back toward their bed all the while, and he raised an eyebrow.
"You're talkin' a whole lotta mess for somebody who's trying to undress me."
"You're not putting up much of a fight." She raised an expectant eyebrow, looking him in the eye as she undid his belt buckle, and when he pulled her close, she slid her hands up his chest. She fiddled with the top button on his dress shirt as he guided both of them through the final few steps between him and the foot of their bed.
"'N you're awful lucky I'm not." As he sat on the edge of the mattress, she stood between his parted thighs as he pulled her dress up her legs. "You just came home from a long night of work, 'n all you wanna do is objectify me? 'M a whole lot more than just a hot body, Ms. L/N."
Despite his words, when the hem of her dress was high enough for him to slide his hands under it, he pulled her onto the bed with him, straddling his lap as his hands ran up her bare thighs. She cocked her head to one side.
"You mean 'Mrs. Jefferson'?" she asked, and he grinned.
"Yeah, but I like it a whole lot better when you say it." He pushed her dress up her body until her hands covered his to pull it over her head, and although she didn't seem particularly concerned with where it landed, she suddenly felt very exposed in just her lingerie on his lap. His eyes didn't stray from her face, however. He pulled her closer by her bare waist, and her arms hung loosely over his shoulders. The open ends of his belt poked at her inner thighs. "Reminds all those Russian diplomats you're off the market."
"I have a feeling Nebenzya isn't trying to steal me away," she said, but Thomas shrugged. "With the way he talks about you, he might be hoping we're looking for a third."
"Unfortunately for Vasily, he wouldn't be at the top of my list," Thomas said, and Y/N's eyebrows shot up.
"Oh, you have a list, now?" she asked. He gave a lazy grin.
"Sugar, I've always had a list," he informed her, and she frowned. He kissed her downturned lips. "If we're working from the number one spot, though, we might have some trouble."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Well, I've got a feeling John Adams wouldn't be too amenable to the idea," he said frankly, and Y/N's surprised laugh was closer to a scoff. "'N I don't feel like we know John Jay well enough as a couple, so that's not gonna fly, but inviting Lafayette just feels like it'd make things weird between all of us."
"Is your whole list made up of men?”
“‘Course.” His answer was immediate, but her skeptical gaze didn’t waver. He ran his hands down her thighs. “You already know you’re the only woman I got eyes for.”
“You’re so corny,” she said softly, running her hands down his shoulders to his upper chest. She picked at the buttons on his dress shirt. "Better tone it down before I get the wrong idea and fall in love with you."
"Now, we certainly can't have that."
"Especially not now. I'm too busy to take a lover, I'm afraid," she said, working down the buttons on his shirt to reveal his bare chest. "I'm just married to my work these days."
"'N you mean that literally, don't you, Madam First Lady?" He undid his cufflinks when she finished with his buttons, and he slid them into his pocket. However, he didn't take the shirt off despite her pushing its fabric down his shoulders. Rather, he took her hands in his, lacing his fingers into hers. "You're just a regular Mrs. America."
"You're really gonna stop me from taking your shirt off after you got me down to my underwear?"
"If I let you finish undressing me, it's gonna be a while before we get to sleep," he said, and she shrugged innocently. "We've gotta be up again in five hours. We both oughta get some rest."
"Being the first couple isn't nearly as sexy as I hoped it'd be." She sat back on her heels, resting her hands on his legs, and he gave her a tired smile. "Take the rest of your clothes off and come to bed, at least. I feel like I've hardly seen you all week."
"Right now, I'm all yours," he assured her. "Lemme get up 'n get some pajamas, though. Put on something other than a full suit for once."
"Just sleep without them," she countered, and he raised an eyebrow. "I like the feeling of your skin against mine. Just makes me feel more connected to you, I guess."
"You're adorable." He kissed her on the forehead, his smile endeared, and she could feel the heat rising to the tips of her ears as he leaned back to take his shirt off. After he did, though, he pulled her in closer, picking her up by her thighs as he stood, and she yelped, grabbing onto his shoulders. When he deposited her on his side of the bed, he undid his dress pants, taking them off before joining her on the mattress.
He crawled atop her where she lay on her back watching him, and as he dipped down to kiss her, one hand slid under her back, and she arched up against him. However, as he kissed down her neck, he unhooked her bra and leaned back to slide it down her arms. When he discarded it onto the floor, she was watching him with wide eyes, but he only kissed her forehead before rolling off of her and pulling the covers over them both. He reached over to turn off the lamp at his bedside.
"For what it's worth," he murmured as he wrapped an arm around her waist, and she rolled onto her side, letting him pull her into his body, "we've got plenty of time to sleep in on Saturday morning."
"Oh, yeah?" She rested her arm atop his, lacing her fingers into his.
"Mhm." He kissed the back of her shoulder. "So Friday night, you better not come home too tired."
"I'm gonna need all my energy for when I find you and Adams in our bed, huh?" When his hold on her tightened, his cold feet brushed against her shins, and she shivered.
"Not this time, sweetheart," he promised. "Once I get you alone, you better bet I'm not sharing you."

Just Us
Someone once asked me what I was waiting for…
When his eyes met yours and it suddenly seemed like you were the only person in the room, you were ethereal and the smile on your face was only for him. He turned away just for a moment just to wipe away the tears but as soon as he turned back they returned, he couldn’t believe that you were about to become his wife.
You wiped away your own tears before letting Lewis take your shaking hand and guide you up to the altar beside him. “Y/n… you’re… wow…”
Soft chuckles filled the air at Lewis’ stammers - the two of you had opted for a very small and private ceremony. Only those most important to you both in the room. The two of you had always kept your relationship to a fairly low profile - of course, being paired with Lewis Hamilton, it was nearly impossible but you both enjoyed keeping your relationship private and today was no different.
His attention was brought back by the feeling of a gentle squeeze of his hands. “You don’t look too bad yourself, Lew.”
“I just wanna kiss you.” He admitted.
“Patience, my love.” You giggled. “Want to make our next kiss the first as husband and wife, no?”
Lewis wanted to pay attention to what the officiant had to say, but he was too enamoured by you. The cut of your dress fit your body perfectly and each little detail made you looked like an angel before him - the sun seemed to practically give you a halo as it began to dip down. He wanted to live in this moment forever, but he knew what was coming next would he even better.
“Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton, do you take y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife? Through sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, ‘til death do you part?”
The way your eyes twinkled at him made his heart skip a beat, there was never any doubt in his mind.
“I do.”
“And do you y/n y/l/n, take Lewis to be your lawfully wedded husband? Through sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, ‘til death do you part?”
You squeezed his hands again. “I do.”
Lewis was practically bouncing on his feet as you exchanged rings, absolutely desperate to get his hands on his new wife.
“By the power invested in me by the state of Colorado, I pronounce you married! You may now kiss.”
The driver swept you up in his arms and dipped you low as he kissed you, your arms coming up around his neck as you smiled into it. He couldn’t believe that you really were his wife. He’d been waiting for this day for so long and now it was all real.
“I love you.”
You smiled. “I love you.”
You spent the rest of the night dancing away with your husband, the air filling with soft music and both of your giggles. The day truly was magical and Lewis still couldn’t wrap his head around the fact you were his. His wife. You stumbled into his life exactly when you were supposed to and he felt complete when you were near. Any wins felt bigger and any loss didn’t seem like such a big deal when you always met him with the proudest of smiles.
And as the day drew to a close, and you both lay in your honeymoon suite, Lewis watched as you slept softly. He hadn’t told anyone outside the wedding party of his activities today, so he was sure to turn his phone on mute before doing a wedding drop on his Instagram.
Let the chaos commence, he thought before putting his phone down and curling up with you and falling asleep.
…Turns out, I was just waiting for you

Ship/Pairing Request:
This one was tricky, not going to lie. I went back and forth with my options based on the information you gave, @pablotheparrot , and I decided on two because it was just too complicated to choose 1!
The first Hamilton character I’d ship you with is:
Tumblr media
Hercules Mulligan! For every INFP, there needs to be a partner who is an opposite. Someone who is outgoing, loud, and exuberant but can provide solitude in private and have values strongly imposed. Hercules would be an odd adjustment at first. As someone who is used to the grandeur and flashy parts of relationships, he takes a step back and reevaluates his own intents and purposes when it comes to you. Prioritizing the comfort of you in public settings, keeping sweets in his pockets for when there is none in a pub, always willing to keep up with the way your mind works and the person he truly loves to see unravel. You both are imaginative and daydream of lives beyond your current status—which in the pleasures of your shared spaces, bring him more peace than any pint of beer ever would.
The second Hamilton character I’d ship you with is:
Tumblr media
John Laurens! We’re going to keep it with it Hamilton’s inner circle for these pairings because his historic friends are seemingly matches for you! John is passionate, willing, and adventurous. He pushes you to be comfortable outside of what routines you have established for yourself and believes in you deeply. He’s kind, caring, and wishes to see a change in the world you also envision every day. John is soft, gentle, and puts your wants and needs first and well beyond his own. You both have a curious mind that loves to engage in a multitude of different things and varying moments in time, but there is always a constant in the ways you love one another. How you care for each other and maintain that even with a million distractions, the selflessness of the other always comes first.
Ship requests are currently closed.
