Tumblr media
You never thought love could hurt, not when it was such a beautiful feeling.
Working as a producer has been your dream all high school, being scouted by a Move Entertainment agent as a freshly graduated person was probably the biggest blessing you've ever received in the last 5 years.
You still remember your first day at the company as an apprentice of the bigger producers, sitting at the back of their studio in the couch and watching them come up with ideas, lead the idols and modifying simple sound onto a whole ass song.
Your heart felt so full of emotions that day you swore you could've cried from happiness even thought you were mistreated by other staff, you remember vividly how your face hurt from smiling on the way home.
Your shoes clacking against the tiled floor echoed through the empty halls of the huge building, it still amuses you to this day the was the floor never seemed to get dirty, always reflecting as if it was a mirror.
However, even if you could spot everything on the floor you still missed the person you were walking into, your head colliding against his tall back, startling out of your mind.
"Yah!" A man's voice flooded your ears before your eyes looked up to who you have crashed into, locking with brown foxlike eyes. "How do you manage to bump into the only other person in the floor?" He says, looking into you intently.
He was the prettiest man you've ever met, and even that was an understatement. The way his eyes complemented the rest of his face, his dark hair in a mullet giving him a mysterious and cool vibe that was just highlighted by his all-black outfit. It was probably the most memorable thing about that day.
"I'm sorry." You mutter, bowing a bit and smiling apologetically.
"It's okay, just look where you're going." He tells you in something between a reprimand and some advice, between polite and cocky. "You're a producer?" He asks, more for him than for you as he spots your producer badge hanging from your neck.
"Oh, yeah, I started today. I'm L/N Y/N." You smile politely at him, who nodded and gave you a weird smile back.
"Nice to meet you L/N Y/N, name's Han Seojun." He said before he continued walking, a small greeting bow before looking away. "Have a good night."
As the weeks rolled by you learnt from your superior that Han Seojun has a new trainee and was already relatively famous as it was too. Your encounter with the boy becoming more and more frequent the more he started practicing and the more you advanced as a producer. The two of you becoming close work friends rather quickly.
As the months turned into years and the level of comfort grew between the two of you the more your feeling for him surpassed the limit of friends, his laugh enticing a newfound warmth in your chest anytime you heard it, his eyes appearing in your daydreaming more and more often. Everything about him changing in your eyes to something else. Nonetheless, as your feeling for him grew with your friendship so did the secrets you knew from each other.
Even though you like him a lot you knew very well how much he liked Lim Jukyung, and you couldn't get mad at it, she has been in his live for far longer than you and is just and angel to be around; if anything you would've fallen in love with her too if you were Seojun.
"Y/Nie, you have done more than enough with those tracks, go home." Your superior mentioned as he walked in the studio, passing you a bottle of water and sitting by your side.
"Something is missing..." you mutter, your back aching from sitting in the same chair for so many consecutive hours, mouse scrolling through the track in the monitor for the nth time in the past half hour.
"You can review it tomorrow, go and rest." He said once again, pulling you away from the computer, your hands stretching as far as they could to keep on working until you were out of reach. His hand grabbing the mouse and saving the track. "Go." His voice was stern but with a hint of fondness, a soft smile on his face as you oblige.
Grabbing you bag and saying your goodbyes you walked out of the studio, opting for using the stairs as your exercise for the day. Eight flight of stairs you were kind of regretting your choice, but you were no quitter, so you kept going. "God my back's killing me." You whisper for yourself as your rub your neck tiredly, putting your coat on until a sound picked up your attention.
Instantly your mind went back to that one-time Jukyung playfully told you she heard from her sister that there was a ghost around the building, seemingly having been haunted herself a few times. "Aigoo..." You mutter, freezing in place as your ears try to pick up the sound again; a few seconds pass and you hear it again, however it seemed to be a sob.
Concerned and a bit less scared you kept on walking down, careful to not disturb whoever it was that cried silently. A few floors down you were met with the figure of a man, sat down in the stairs as his body shook painfully as he cried, his soft sobs flooding your ears and you wished to all the heavens above you were mistaking the silhouette with someone else.
Please, don't be him.
You took a few steps down, the closer you got the clearer he became before your tired eyes. "Seojun?" You asked in a whisper, close enough to crouch down and place your hand on his shoulder.
It shouldn't hurt so much to see the way he flinched at both your voice and your touch, his hand flying to push yours off as his face refused to turn towards you.
With a sigh you sat down beside him, not a word leaving your mouth as you looked ahead of you, giving him the time to do whatever he wanted with his appearance before you looked at him, letting him know you are not forcing anything out of him but instead offering him your company.
A few seconds passed by, maybe a whole minute before he kept on crying, hand trying so hard to muffle his voice as his tears never stopped flowing down his cheeks. Slowly you turned to look at him, taking the time to take in his appearance before sighing again. It hurt a lot to see him so broken.
"It's okay to cry it out, don't silence yourself." You whispered softly, hand slowly reaching for his and taking it off his mouth, a sob immediately following after. "I can leave if you want me to." You said, giving him a few seconds to react, taking his silence and lack of eye contact as a sign and stood up.
"Wait.... don't go," he said in a choked voice, hand flying to grab your wrist, eyes finally looking up at you between his tears. "Please."
"You don't have to ask me twice." You say, a soft and sad smile on your face as your crouched down in front of him between his knees, hands resting now on top of his cheeks and brushing away his tears. "You wanna talk about it or just exist for a while?"
Your tone was so sweet and full of patience he just felt like crying again, sniffing he kept silent, eyes roaming through your face and not once finding your company insincere. "I let her go." He whispers back, his eyes appearing as an open book for you to read, his mouth pouting and his eyes tearing again. "It hurts."
"I know it hurts, and it hurt to love her too, didn't it?" You ask, brushing a few stray hairs off his face and behind his ears, a mannerism you took upon on as his hair grew between haircuts. "I'm so sorry."
"Why does it hurt so much?" He said while desperately looking into your eyes for an explanation, his own hand clutching his chest as if trying to take his heart out. "Why do I had to love her out of everyone?"
He sounded so broken, so exhausted of his feelings it made you teary too, a burning sensation starting at your throat threatening to choke your upcoming words.
"You don't choose who to love, just how she didn't choose not to love you." You mutter, blinking away the stinging in your eyes. "It's part of life as much as it sucks." You whisper, shuffling in your feet that hurt from crouching for so long. "Love hurts, it's dumb how much loving can hurt when it's such a beautiful feeling, huh?" You can't help but chuckle at your own words, how ironic.
"I'm sorry." He mumbles after a while, his hands brushing off the last of his tears as he has now calmed down a lot more, you still crouching in front of him, never once taking your attention away.
"Don't apologize for being human." With a smile your hands sneak up to grab his and stand up, pulling him with you. "Come on, let's go and get some air. away from this creepy stairway." With one of your hands you clean his face of, not wanting anyone to see he was crying as your other hand never loosens around his.
As you walked down the stairs with him trailing behind you Seojun couldn't help but notice how secure your hand held his and how your presence soothes him, a small grateful smile on his face.
"Thank you, Y/N." He mutters as you drag him along, not once yapping or complaining of this ruining his tough image as he would've done every other day.
"That's what friends are for." You smile at him over your shoulder, because even if Han Seojun doesn't love you back, love hurts and it's part of life.

Cute || H. SJ
Pairing : Han Seojun X Blind! Reader
Genre : Fluff
Summary : Han Seojun didn't expect to fall in love so fast, neither did he expect the blind girl he ran into the other day to be so cute.
Wordcount: 3k :)
[ Disclaimer; This is not an accurate description of being blind. ]
Tumblr media
A shriek leaves your mouth as you're pulled backwards, falling right into the body of another person.
" Yah! You should watch where you're going! Didn't you see that car? " A (very pleasant) voice scolds you.
You hurriedly turn around, bowing deeply to whoever it is.
" I'm so sorry! " You tell them.
They sigh.
" Honestly, don't apologize to me. Just watch where you're going. " The person scoffed.
You 'look' back up again, hoping you're looking at their face.
" I'm sorry I'm-"
" You're blind. " The person says.
You nod.
" Yes, sorry to bother, I will be on my way again. " You bow again.
However, as you turn around, you're being held again by your wrist.
" Don't blind people have a cane? " They ask.
You can feel the colour rushing to your cheeks.
" Uhm, yeah. Mine broke last week. My family can't effort one for now. "
" So, they leave you to walk by yourself? "
" My mom's busy working. My older sister goes to college so she's generally just very busy- Don't worry though, I'll be okay. "
" Tell me your address. I'll lead you home. " They sigh.
" No way. I don't know you. You could be kidnapping me for all I know. " You exclaim, ripping your wrist out of his hold.
" My name's Han Seojun. I live on MadeUp street and I go to Seobom High. I'm currently 18 years old. " He introduces himself.
" Y'know, for all I know you could be lying. " You point out.
" Well, how would you get home otherwise? " He points out.
" I know the directions by heart. " You smile.
Han Seojun sighs as he's resting his head on the table. His mind keeps going back to that moment of yesterday night.
The girl might've been blind, but her dark eyes seemed to twinkle under the light of the lamppost yesterday night.
Truth to be told, he was scared something might happen to her. What family leaves a blind girl to fend for herself in the dark?
" Yah, Seojun-ah, you're not even listening to a word I've said! " His best friend, Chorong, complains suddenly, bringing him back to present.
" What? " Seojun huffs.
" Ohhhh, what were you thinking about, a girl? " Chorong teases.
" Maybe. " Seojun smirks.
At his answer, Lim Jukyung turns around curiously, yet for the first time in months, Seojun doesn't feel the need to have her attention on him.
-
" Hey! "
Just as hoped, you show again, this time a few hours earlier than before. He's glad he decided to take this route straight out of school.
" Oh, Seojun, is that you? " You ask him.
He smiles.
" Yeah, glad you remember me. I've come to walk you home again. "
He watches as your cheeks heat up.
" Oh, that's real sweet of you. You didn't have to though. " You smile, carefully walking over to him, running a hand over the building beside you.
Seeing your movement, he walks over most of the way, so you wouldn't have to walk all the way to him.
" I wanted to. I enjoyed our walk yesterday. " He tells you with a smile, one you can't see.
" That's nice to hear. I did too. How was your day? " You ask.
The two of you start walking, Seojun making sure to softly brush shoulders every now and then.
" It was alright. I hoped I'd see you again. How was yours? " He asks in return.
You smile sweetly at his words.
" It was okay. I really didn't expect to see you again though. "
And so the two of you walk, once again, all the way to your house. Seojun finds talking with you fun. You seem so soft spoken and delicate that he cannot help but feel a little smitten with you.
" Hey, hand me your phone. " He says, stopping you from entering your house's gate.
" What? " You ask.
" I'll put my contact info in. That way you can call me when you're done in school, I'll pick you up when I can and walk you home. " He explains.
You narrow your eyes at him. (You really aren't though, you're looking right beside him, but it's okay.)
" How would I know you won't be stealing it? "
He laughs.
" Don't worry, even if I did, you can find me at Seobom High. C'mon. " He says, holding his hand out, momentarily forgetting you can't see him.
He softly nudges your arm with his fingers.
" Hmm, hand me your phone, and I'll hand you mine. " You tell him.
He snorts, but does as asked. He takes your hand before smoothly placing his device in your hand. Once he's sure it won't fall out of your grip, he lets go. You take your phone out after a second, handing him an obviously outdated BlackBerry phone. As he puts his number in, the device speaks out every number he puts in.
Once done, he takes your empty hand, placing your phone in it. He softly takes his own back too.
" There goes. See you, hopefully, tomorrow, Y/N." Seojun grins as he pats your head before leaving.
A few months later
Seojun has grown a lot closer with you overtime. Eventually he learned that you come from a very poor family, which was why you didn't have a cane when you first met. A few days after, you thankfully did.
Now the two of you have gone into an easy routine of hanging out nearly everyday. The two of you rarely ever spend time at your place cause' there isn't much to do, but more often than not spend time at his. His mum loves you as if you're one of your own, and his sister has more or less become one of your closest friends as well.
Currently, the two of you are hanging out in his room.
" Y'know, tomorrow I have the day off. " You say whilst spinning around on his desk chair.
Seojun looks up from the 'homework' he's doing. (His phone is in his book.)
" Really? Nice. What're you planning on doing? I've still got school, but we can skip if you're up for something. " He tells you nonchalantly.
You give him an angry look, one he finds all too cute.
" No, skipping classes is bad Junnie. But we can make it later than usual. " You suggest.
He hums.
" Wanna sleep over? " He asks suddenly.
You blink.
" What? I haven't got any of my stuff with me. " You point out.
" That's fine. You can sleep in my clothes and I'm sure we have a spare toothbrush somewhere.  My classes don't start until late in the morning anyway. "
" Hmm, let me ask my mom. "
And so it's settled. Tonight, you'll stay at Seojun's place.
" Alright, would you mind if we share my bed or would you like your own mattress? I'm sure we have an inflatable mattress somewhere. " He says, his own cheeks tinting pink at the idea of it.
Truth to be told, the closer the two of you've become, the more he's started to like you. So of course he hopes you'll share his bed.
" I mean, I don't mind sharing your bed if you don't either. " You tell him, your cheeks pink.
" Cool, want me to read to you in bed? " He asks.
" Yes please! "
And so you come back into Seojun's room a while later, a pair of his shorts and his shirts fitting your form. Truth to be told, you look adorable in it.
His cheeks flush as he looks at you.
" You look even better than I do in my clothes. " He grins, getting up from his bed to take you by hand.
A small 'eek' leaves your lips as he pulls you forward.
" Don't worry, I've got you. I'll be your eyes, Y/N." He says softly.
Once more, you start to feel the fluttering of butterflies in your tummy. The boy in front of you really managed to capture your heart in the short time you knew him.
" Okay. " You reply softly.
Just as promised, he leads you to his bed (which is only a few steps away.)
" You can sit down here. " He says, patting his bed as he touches your shoulder.
You carefully sit down, being mindful not to sit on the edge.
It takes a while, but eventually the two of you find a comfortable spot together, with Seojun laid on his front, holding a book in his hands, while you're curled up beside him.
Both of your hearts beat in sync as he reads to you, and you listen to the low hum of his voice.
You're grateful to have run into Seojun. He's sweet, comforting and considerate. He doesn't seem to judge you for weak even though you're blind.
It doesn't take long before Seojun realizes the soft breathing pattern he hears is actually you simply being asleep. He grins as he looks down on you, where your head slightly touches his elbow.
" Aish, this girl. I don't even like to read. " He quietly complains to himself, before glancing down at you again and smiling fondly.
He'll admit, you're cute.
Putting his book away, he turns off the small lamp besides his bed, before turning to lay on his side, facing you. He softly swipes a few stray hears from out of your face, before taking your hand in his.
That night the both of you sleep slightly more comfortable than usual.
-
You're currently stood in front of, what you guess to be, Seobom High. Seojun often goes out of his way to pick you up, so you figured you might as well do the same.
You assume your guess is correct, as you soon hear a lot of footsteps, accompanied by people (of who you guess to be your age) chatting away.
" Oh, are you lost? " Someone, a woman by the sound of it, approaches you.
" Oh, uhm, I don't think so. This is Seobom High right? " You ask, just to make sure.
" Yes, are you looking for someone here? Maybe I can help? " She asks.
" Uhm, no thank you. I don't want to be a bother. " You tell her, giving her a polite smile.
" Don't worry about it, it's quite alright. I'm Soojin by the way, who are you looking for? " She asks you kindly.
" Nice to meet you. I'm Y/N. I'm looking for-"
" Yah, Y/N, is that you? "
Just the man you're looking for.
Soojin watches with wide eyes as Han Seojun approaches the two of you, an actual smile on his face, instead of the rude smirk he usually wears.
" Seojunnie! Yes, it's me. I thought I might as well pick you up today. " You grin.
He smiles.
" That's sweet of you. C'mon, let's go. " Seojun says hurriedly suddenly, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and turning you around, walking off without sparing Soojin a glance.
Meanwhile Seojun had spotted Suho from a distance. The male seemed nowhere near interested in what Seojun was doing, but Seojun didn't want to risk catching you between them.
" Oh! Bye Soojin! Thanks for being nice. " You hurriedly call over your his shoulder.
Soojin blinked as the two of you walked off.
" Is that, Han Seojun? With a girl? Since when does he have a girlfriend? " Sooah asks as she approaches her friend, causing Soojin to shrug.
" No idea. "
The next day, Seojun is approached by Jukyung.
" I heard you've found a girlfriend. I'm happy for you. " She smiles.
Seojun knows there's no ill intention behind her words. Her words are genuine, and he's glad she's happy for him.
" Thanks. I'll never let her meet your boyfriend though. " He says, leaning his head back onto his table.
" Yahh, Suho is nice, no need to be worried. "
-
Seojun is sitting at his desk this time, eyes on yours (although you're probably not aware of it), whilst you're sitting on his bed.
" I can feel your eyes on me y'know. Is something wrong? " You ask him, now turning to face him.
He blinks, not having expected that.
" For how long have you been blind? " He asks bluntly, suddenly.
You blink.
Seojun, seemingly realizing how rude that probably sounded, tries taking his words back.
" Sorry, if you don-"
" I'm born blind. "
" Oh. "
" Don't worry. It's okay. Besides, being blind also means I don't have to worry about my looks- I often hear my cousins stress over their appearance. "
Seojun studies you for a good moment, before eventually leaning over, his fingers brushing through your hair gently as he clears your face of a few loose strands. You jump once you feel his fingers, your heart beating just a bit faster than usual.
" You wouldn't need to worry about it anyway. You're beautiful Y/N." Seojun smiles.
You blush at his words.
" Uhm, thank you I think? - Can I see you? " You ask him suddenly.
He furrows his brows.
" What? "
" I'm good at drawing. If you're okay with me touching your face, I can show you what I see- with my hands at least. " You tell him.
" I mean, sure. I don't mind as long as it's you. " He grins.
You smile widely.
" Great! Do you have a pen and paper? "
And so he finds himself sitting still as your hands gently run over his face. It's a very odd feeling, but he doesn't mind it as he watches a sketch of himself come to life.
As time passes, his mouth slowly falls open at how accurate the drawing is. It's nearly like he's staring at a picture of himself, most of his minor skin details are even shown on the paper. The only thing that's missing are his eyes, that spot remains blank. That doesn't ruin the sketch though, instead giving him a more angelic look, if he may think so himself.
" Woah. That's amazing Y/N. " He smiles as he's done.
" Thank you. You're quite handsome. "
" Of course I am, what did you expect? That I'd be bad looking? " He teases you.
You shrug.
" I don't know many people their looks, nor what most would consider pretty, but I always though you'd be , less good looking? I don't know, I'm visually not very creative. "
Seojun has not heard his heart beat quite that loud in a long time.
-
Seojun knows he's got a crush on you, and the more the two of you hang out, the stronger his feelings grow. After a bit of thinking, he decides that today is the day. Now is the time to ask you out.
He impatiently waits until the last bell rings, leaving the classroom before most have packed their bags. On his way to picking you up, he picks up some flowers. He's careful that they don't sting, and that they smell good.
After a while, he finds himself standing in front of your school. After doing some small research, he realized that your school is actually pretty close by. It's a little further from his house, but he'll spare those ten minutes.
It doesn't take long before you come out, and he's quick to approach you.
" Y/N! " Seojun greets you with a big smile.
" Hey Seojun, you sound happy. Did something good happen today? " You smile at him.
" I'm about to find out actually. You see, I like you Y/N. A lot. " He tells you bluntly, straight out with his feels.
He watches as your eyes widen, and the scared feeling of rejection is quick to creep up on him. But before he can doubt himself too much, a big smile breaks out.
" Really?! I like you too! I though that my crush was just one sided! " You say, jumping up and down before engulfing him in a big hug.
Seojun grins, receiving your hug with one arm, the other still holding the flowers.
" Definitely not. You run through my mind all day, Y/N." He says softly into your hair.
" Oh, also, I got you this. " He says as he pulls away.
" Is that what I've been smelling? " You ask, as he guides your free hand to the flowers.
" I hope so. " He blushes.
" They smell great! "
" Glad you like them. "
" Thank you Seojunnie. " You smile softly, leaning over to kiss his cheek.
The moment your lips touch his cheek, his heart skips a beat.
Yeah, he's got it bad for you.
[ A/N: My first try on a Seojun fic :D. I feel like I haven't exactly nailed down his personality yet, but at least I've made a start :], let me know what you think! Also, I'm open to Han Seojun/Lee Suho requests. ]

Han Seojun as your boyfriend
Dating Han Seojun would include:
Tumblr media
Being mostly only caring towards you
A LOT of hugs and clingy stuff even though he doesn’t look like the type to
HE'S SO KIND AN CARING!!!!! Would care a lot about what your friends think of him. He would be silent most of the time if you'd be talking to your friends cause he feels like he'll interupt something
would make an effort though^^^^^^
Cute walks at midnight together
him stealing your food
also him being jealous 24/7
he'd hate it when guys (or girls) would get close to you but he'd prefer to talk to you about it instead of getting all overprotective
^that being said he would let you go to the mall with your male friend but you'll probably find him somewhere in the mall claiming he's getting something for his sister......
he's so whipped for you :((((((
he will be giving you forehead kisses every minute of the day
He isn't reaaaalllllyy into PDA but he also kind is ??? it depends on the day and his mood
when your alone thoughhhhhhhhhh
a lot of neck kisses and long make out sessions
if you'd sleep togheter (innocent way) you'd be spooning with him being big spoon because he feels the need to protect you 24/7
This man would drop EVERYTHING for you. If you'd call him while crying he would find you location in seconds en take you home on his bike
He would take a longer route just so that u could calm down a bit ^
He was so shy when he confessed his love to you
He was stalking your bestfriend for days and kept asking her if she knew your favorite chocolate and what your favorite type of flower was
Once he finally found out he made you a love letter and put it in your locker
He would tell you to meet him at han river at midnight
When he asked you to be his and you answered with yes he was over the moooooooon
He keeps following you like a lovesick puppy cause this is his first relationship where he actually really liked the girl
Your so special to him it's sick
He would let you sit on his lap while he was busy writing music
9/10 times he's making a love song for you that's how inlove he is
His mother and sister would love you so much
You would stay up hours and hours with Gowoon putting on each others make up and styling each other
You'd be making fun of Seojun togheter
Late night convience store dates
He is good with his Hands and tongue btw
He would take you everwhere on his bike
He would be so mad at you if you ever got into a fight
But he would kinda be proud that u won though
When he was in the hospital he would be mad at u for "wasting your time" by staying with him until he could get out
Also your the only reason he made up with Suho
Since your friends with Suho
BEFORE he made up with him however, He would get so angry whenever you were hanging out with Suho
Suho knew that Seojun liked you since it's been like that since before their friend passed away
And since Suho himself felt kinda petty, There would be a lot of times when he would just straight up flirt with you. Making Seojun mad and jealous while the rumors would spread about you and Suho possible dating.... making a certain long haired girl from the same class as you jealous

True beauty spoiler ahead!
I teared up and cried a little when Seojun suffered from second male lead syndrome! He was so precious like I’m sorry but I did prefer him 😩

Note
i was thinking drama!Seojun bc i’ve been rewatching previous eps (yeah i suffer a LOT lmao) and i’m also thinking “it would be great if seojun had someone to care for/about him” since You-Know-Who focuses only on S*h* 24/7 🥴
Ahh I suffer the same way (I was about to go watch some scenes to prepare myself for tomorrow.) It would be nice.🥺 He does so much for others, I want him to get the same amount back. Suho is the center of the universe by now. 😂 and I actually laughed so hard at ‘You-know-who’, feels like Harry Potter all of sudden.

Han Seojun Dating Lee Sungyong’s Ex:
warnings: cursing bcz this is seojun
Tumblr media
shocked baby
“you dated that bastard? why?”
*shrug*
you had no answer
literally every girl with the first guy she dated because he was an asshole-
#straighttingz
kinda upset he wasn’t your first boyfriend
“what do you mean you were dating him when I met you?!”
ew why did that sound like a dad
remember how he met jukyung?
that’s how he met YOU
but you called sungyong instead of the siren going off
“so you were flirting with me while you were with him?”
“eh I mean, he had probably cheated-”
“I’m gonna crack his head open!”
“seojun no-”
how dare he cheat on the most supportive and adorable s/o ever
you needed to hold him back the next time he saw sungyong in public
boy was ready to swing punches
“y/n, let go! I have to hit him!”
“no cuddles for a week if you don’t stop”
he obv stopped but you had to deal with a pouty seojun with 3 hours of cuddling
rip y/n
RANTS ABOUT IT TO SUHO
“and that brazen bastard had the audacity to check her out”
“how do you know he checked her o-”
“I SAW HIS GAZE”
suho is tired of him complaining so he encouraged him to
“yeah... that’s a good idea... punch him twice” while looking at his phone
overjealous seojun
there wasn’t a day when he didn’t think about you with sungyong
“I bet you didn’t laugh like that when you were dating him”
“are you perhaps jealous?”
“me? pfft! nice one, babe! I am so better than him, there’s no need to be jealous”
“exactly”
boosted his confidence
of course he knew that you knew he knew he was jealous and it made that indirect compliment even better
if you had to remind him how much he means to you to make him shut up about sungyong, you did
you were at his place for movie night
and you were cooking with gowoon while he was sitting on the couch
and your phone buzzed
it was sungyong
he literally send him a pic of him STICKING HIS TONGUE OUT
shall we add a middle finger? yk because teenage boys? no? okay-
and blocked him
you’d never know about it but you two have no secrets so he casually told you
“good job, junnie!”
don’t cheer him on, y/n! he’ll do more stupid shit!
since sungyong couldn’t contact you he waited for you a day after school
you saw him and tried to hide behind sooah but
“y/n! long time no see!”
“what do you want?”
“you of course”
nice joke, sungyong
seojun was right behind you hah
he FINALLY punched him
“That felt nice! One more!”
you would have stopped him but sungyong deserved it
CHORONG RECORDED EVERYTHING
a little shaky because of laughing but could still see the main punches
cue y/njun replaying the video til late at night
glares at sungyong when he sees him while sungyong is avoiding his gaze
he never got close to you again
seojun y/n protector!
and a simp but don’t tell him I told you
or else he will hit me like sungyong
but I am a y/n too...

humph; han seojun (pt 1)
part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5
story: frenemies to enemies to lovers, high school au
synopsis: seojun and you have known each other since kindergarten. you’re neighbors and even attended the same singing and piano classes. despite knowing each other for such a long time, you don’t enjoy spending time with seojun. even though you are aware of his unfairness, you keep spending time with him. when will you finally leave your childhood frenemy?
note: it may be boring at first, gets interesting after age 18 ;) humph! is a story inspired by pentagon's "humph! / 접근금지". originally, this is a seungyeon fanfiction, which i posted on my wattpad. words: 3.2k
Tumblr media
kindergarten, age 4
"rock, paper, scissors!"
"wait a minute, you cheated again!"
"you were too late. let’s do it again."
why don't you just admit that you cheated?
_
kindergarten, age 5
"my painting!"
today you are painting your favorite animals in kindergarten. happily, you place your painting of a bunny on your desk before leaving to refill your water bottle.
when you return to your seat, it looks damaged. someone scribbled on it with red color.
"it doesn't matter. my lion drawing looks so much better anyway."
seojun grins evilly while holding your red crayon in his right hand.
usually you would just frown and walk away angrily.
i won't let you off this day, i've been too patient, i deserve to say something too, don't you think?
_
elementary school, age 6
"ten minutes, i promise! then it's your turn."
you are at the swings today and it's seojun’s turn. ten minutes already passed and you start to get impatient.
"seojun-ah, ten minutes are over. can i swing now please?" sadly you ask with a little pout forming on your lips.
"what? no, y/n, can't you count? it's been five minutes not ten."
he also mumbles, "honestly so annoying."
no matter how sadly i talk, you keep a poker face. you're an ice fairy who won’t budge at all.
_
elementary school, age 9
seojun and you have been sitting next to each other since kindergarten. most of the time takes more space, spreading his school supplies over your table, pushing you with his elbow while writing.
so you decided to draw a line right in the middle of the table, which is totally forbidden to cross.
"nice hair clip."
when you turn your head to the left, you see seojun leaning forward, staring at your hair. his face is too close to yours which causes a strange feeling in your stomach. there’s a small smile on his face, his cat like eyes smiling as well.
oddly, you feel your face become hot and your heart is beating faster too.
should i see a doctor?
"t-thanks." you mumble quietly while touching your hair clip, trying to avoid eye contact.
"is it new? i've never seen you wearing this one."
"yes."
why does he pay attention to what hair clip you’re using?
"looks cute on you."
your eyes widen.
and so do his.
"alright! it looks alright on you." he corrects himself quickly before clearing his throat.
his face is still close to yours and you wonder why you can’t focus on your school work but keep looking into his eyes.
not until something else catches your attention.
"you just crossed the line again! ah, please just follow the rules once!"
"oh, that..." he trails off while rubbing his neck, suddenly shy from his actions.
_
middle school, age 14
"we're lost because of you!"
"what are you talking about?"
"you kept rejecting my ideas because you thought you knew better and now we're lost in the forest."
"y/n, stop complaining about everything. we're gonna find a way out.", seojun lets out an exaggerated sigh as his eyes search for a possible way out of the woods.
"i'm going now. find your way out by yourself.",
impatiently, you scoff and head towards the opposite direction, leaving seojun to make your way out of this cursed forest. soon, you realize how bad that idea was, since you’re still stuck in there after a few hours.
when you eventually give up, you fall down on your knees and the first tears start running down your cheeks. the forest is cold, your whole body is shaking and your trembling fingers wipe away the tears. nervously, you sit on a rock, praying for someone to find you.
"y/n! are you there?"
to the sound of someone calling your name, you swiftly stand up.
"y/n, can you hear me? hello?"
han seojun!
finally he appears in front of you with a worried face. the moment his eyes land on yours, his face changes to relieved.
"thank god you're here! i was looking for you everywhere. do you know how wor-"
before he can finish his sentence, you interrupt him by pulling him into a tight hug. you hide your face between his neck and shoulder as you hold firmly on his denim jacket. in fact, you’ve never felt so relieved to see seojun.
the boy himself looks shocked for a moment before he wraps his arms around your waist, squeezing you a little tighter than he usually would. with a soothing voice, seojun rubs your back in order to calm you down.
"it's okay, i found you."
when i see you i get happy again, i'm not sure about my feelings right now, it's the 8th wonder of the world.
_
high school, age 16
"the upcoming show is the most important one for us. i'd like y/n to perform this time. i can tell that she improved a lot."
your music teacher smiles at you which causes you to smile back even happier.
this is the best moment of your my life. performing in front of so many people! you out of so many others!
"let's hear her play. i want everyone to agree with me."
after you play your instrument everyone applauds with smiles on their faces.
except for han seojun.
"that was fantastic!" your teacher compliments you.
"miss kim, i'd like to try too."
everyone watches seojun step on the stage with surprised looks, until he stands in front of you with raised eyebrows, a small smirk appearing on his face,
"may i?"
rude idiot.
"alright, then. let's listen to seojun’s play too and decide who'll play at the show."
annoyed, you roll your eyes while crossing your arms over your chest. you leave the stage with loud steps and narrow your eyes during his whole performance. after he finishes, his eyes meet yours instantly with a rude smirk forming on his lips. you hate to admit, but he is really good. his musical talent is way better than yours. of course, han seojun always has to be better than you.
"wow! i'm speechless, really! that was wonderful!" everyone agrees with miss kim.
eventually, he gets the play. he steals your performance.
angrily, you pound your fist against the table, wanting to beat that stupid narcissistic smirk off his face. how dare he steal your performance? before you have the chance to snap at others in order to release your frustration, you leave the music room immediately.
why can't he be happy for you, like a friend?
i'll need to get my anger to melt you down, don't cross the line
_
high school, age 18
it’s another monday morning and you’re walking on the hallway, on your way to your first class. unfortunately, you only had four hours of sleep since you spent the whole night writing your essay, which you forgot was due today. with dark circles, two different colored socks and hair up in a messy ponytail you increase your pace. you already had a quite stressful morning and couldn’t bear more stress, like getting scolded for being late.
speaking of the devil.
all of a sudden you feel someone grip your hair tightly only to pull down your hair tie, letting your hair fall over your shoulders.
with a shocked face you reach up a hand to touch your head and turn around swiftly, ready to face whoever dared to pull your hair so forcefully. somehow, you’re not surprised when you see the too familiar boy in front of you, swinging your hair tie in his hand, eyes focused on the pendant.
“are you crazy?!”, you hiss angrily and clench your hands into fists.
“good morning to you too, y/n. although, you don’t really look like you had a nice morning.”
with a false frown on his face he shakes his head while pressing his lips together.
when han seojun’s eyes land on you, he can’t believe his eyes. your ridiculous expression and your messy hair make him snort and laugh lightly. how come you look so cute when you’re angry?
“i’m not in the mood for getting teased.” you speak through your teeth with forced restraint.
the boy in front of you stares you up and down,
“are you a zombie or something?”
“yah! do you want to die?”, you kick his leg while trying to take away your hair tie from his grip but only end up stumbling over your feet when seojun backs away, arm stretched out, making it impossible for you to grab the hair tie.
before you can react, he starts running away which causes you too run after him,
“yah, han seojun!”
“you’re really a zombie!” he laughs with amusement, still running away from you.
_
maths class is clearly your least favorite as you struggle with solving the equation. when you almost get the result you feel someone hitting your chair. first you attempt to ignore it and continue doing your work. however, the hitting intensifies which causes you to let out an annoyed sigh and you abruptly turn around in your seat,
“what do you want?”
“do you have the answer for question two?”,
seojun whispers, knowing the teacher could ask him about it any moment.
“you’re at question two?”
that boy is really dumb.
“just answer the question, please don’t play with me right now.”
turning away in attempt to regain control of your features, you try to hide your amusement while looking up your solution for question two.
“it’s 37.5″ you whisper, turning back to him.
seojun looks confused, “i got -2.”
amused, you try to keep your laughter in while patting his soft hair,
“woah, you’re such a genius!”
instead of getting annoyed, a faint blush creeps on seojun’s face.
“han seojun, y/n, are you two bickering again?”
after warning you two, the teacher wants both of you two solve the question on the blackboard.
“agh, this is so annoying. this is your fault.” seojun mutters through his teeth, writing random numbers on the board.
“my fault? you were the one who asked for my help!” you whisper with disappointment before finishing the equation on the board. with a small smile you put the chalk back to its place.
“yah, y/n! don’t leave me!”
you hear seojun mutter with panic as you head back to your seat, unbothered.
_
in gym class you’re playing one of your least favorite games: dodgeball. you have no clue why everyone is absolutely obsessed with this game or how they convince the teacher to play it every single time. in fact, although you’re not the most athletic, you don’t have any problems with gym class. however, when it comes to dodgeball you tend to hide in the back until you’re the only one left.
you can already predict your teammates’ complaints about you, when the last but one player is out, leaving you alone in the area. frightened you look up to spot han seojun on the other side with the ball in his hand, already aiming at you. he looks ready to throw the ball right into your face. instead of attempting to catch the ball, you close your eyes for a moment, hiding your face with your arms.
everyone watches seojun with anticipation, expecting him to throw the ball at you forcefully. however, the boy himself lowers his arm and his face softens when he throws the ball at your leg softly. you think you would feel the pain in any moment and prepare yourself but you’re surprised when you only feel the ball lightly hit your leg.
next you hear loud cheers from the opponent team as they hug seojun to celebrate their win. whereas your team groans frustrated.
“you could have easily caught that one!”,
chorong whines but keeps quiet when he notices han seojun glaring at him from the other side of the room.
after that, your teacher tells you to pair up. instantly you look around to see everyone happily clutching to their partners. yet, soon you wonder why everyone is surrounding you, staring at you with anticipation. are they surprised that you still don’t have a partner? are they going to make fun of you?
what’s your problem you crazy people-
for the second time this week you feel someone grab your hair. it’s like your’re frozen on spot when a certain someone brushes their fingers over your soft hair. seojun then takes the hair tie from his own wrist (which he had stolen from you) and ties your hair into a ponytail. besides that, you can feel the closeness of his body to yours when he eventually holds your shoulders in order to turn you around.
almost everyone watches you with curious eyes, whispering to each other with surprised faces.
“friends, my foot.” you hear sua chuckle.
he bends down to your height, his face now right in front of yours. still surprised from his actions, you are unable to say anything as you watch him with a blank face. the color of your cheeks turn into a darker shade of crimson when seojun smiles at you happily and brushes a few strands of hair behind your ear before pinching your cheeks,
“we’re partners. right, zombie?”
and you have absolutely no clue if you want to hug him or punch him in the face.
_
last night seojun and his mum visited you. mostly, they talked about you two. your mum complained about you staying up too long and seojun’s mother complained about seojun‘s obsession with his motorcycle. she worried about him getting hurt to which your mother agreed as well. unintentionally, you revealed that he almost ran you over once, which made seojun’s mum set limits. at first he was mad at you for betraying him like that, but soon he noticed your worried face and decided to tease you a little about it.
now you’re eating lunch at your usual seat next to kim chorong. shortly after, seojun arrives and takes a seat next to you. you only mutter a quiet hello, mouth stuffed with rice, and don’t bother looking up. the sound of keys dropping on the table catches your attention. your eyes wander from seojun’s keys to himself.
“since you worry about me so much, you can have my keys.”
“what?” you swallow your food and frown.
“i won’t ride my bike anymore. you know, because you don’t like it.” he shrugs with a hidden smug and starts eating afterwards.
“yah! are you guys dating behind my back?” chorong pouts after hearing seojun’s words.
“i really don’t know what you’re on. are you sick?” you ignore chorong’s whining and focus on the other boy next to you, who peacefully eats his food.
“nah, i’m completely fine. ah and-” he stops before swallowing his food, “my bike is in front of your house.”
“why?” slightly annoyed, you scrunch up your face.
“because he-” before chorong can finish his sentence, seojun interrupts him,
“because you worry about me.”
“you’re my friend, of course i do.” you shrug and give him a confused look.
suddenly seojun feels like he failed the attempt to tease you. in fact, he’s taken aback by your statement. definitely, he wasn’t expecting you to answer like that. the boy stops chewing for a moment and stares at you.
“i don’t know why you had to leave it in front my house, though. now my brother is going to ask stupid questions.” you groan.
seojun clears his throat, not knowing what to say. neither of you notice chorong shaking his head, mumbling about how oblivious you are.
when you finish eating you grab seojun’s keys, ready to leave,
“i’ll still take these, though!”
_
a few weeks later a new student called lee suho transfers to your school. since his first day, everyone has been curious about the mysterious boy, who usually spends time alone. you notice that he doesn’t really talk to anyone, although all the girls fangirl over him.
surprisingly, suho and you get closer to each other after one day you talk to him during english class. the young boy seems like a kind and cool person, who only has trouble opening up to people. soon, suho is comfortable with talking to you about anything and you end up being good friends.
clearly, seojun notices your sudden closeness to the new student. something about it seems to bother him. he feels like throwing up when he spots you laughing at whatever he said, or even when he helps you with homework.
why does it had to be you? there are so many other girls in your high school but the quiet guy decided to befriend you?
_
“so you and y/n, huh?”
as you exit the library to make your way home, you hear han seojun talk to someone in the hallways. hearing your name catches your attention and you quickly hide behind a wall.
“y/n? she’s a really nice girl. i’m glad to have her as my friend.”,
it seemed like seojun was talking to suho.
“you’re saying that she’s your friend?”, seojun chuckles falsely.
“yes, why?”
“you should stay away from her.”
“what?”
“it’s only a matter of time before she breaks your heart.”
what is he talking about?
“what do you mean?” suho asks with a confused voice.
“you heard me. don’t be her friend. she’s not the person you think she is.”
“i don’t think she’s two-faced. besides, aren’t you the one who’s around her the whole time?”
“that’s why i know.”
you couldn’t bear listening to them any longer and walk towards the other direction. you couldn’t believe your ears. why would han seojun say these things about you? sure, he teased you, messed with you and constantly acted unfair but you’d never think that he’d go this far. your disappointment soon turns into anger when you walk home with angry tears.
should i just let it pass? should i just go to you and hold your hand? should i just close my eyes and start over?
not a chance, no!
_
"why?", you ask with a tightness in your chest as you stand in front of han seojun, near the school gate.
"why, what?"
"why do you hate me so much?"
after hearing your question, seojun frowns.
"i don't hate you-"
"really? that's why you told suho i'm a snitch?"
his eyes widen.
"yes, i heard that but what if i didn't? would you lie to me about it and fake it till you make it?"
"listen-"
"no, you listen!"
seojun is taken aback by your anger. in fact, he has never seen you act this way, despite of the countless arguments you had.
"you've treated me badly many times and i never said anything but you know what's worse? i thought we were friends."
there’s no way that han seojun would fail to see the disappointment written in your eyes. he feels his heart ache.
"we are friends, y/n."
"then explain me why you've been acting like that. tell me why you told suho those things about me or, i don’t know, why you stole my audition. is that what friendship is to you?"
silence. not even a single word escapes his mouth. the boy fears of losing you. is it already too late? would he even be able to make things better if he opened his mouth? he doubts so. if anything, he would make things worse. however, you don’t fail to notice how he wants to tell you something. seojun looks like he’s about to explain everything, all the truth. but he doesn’t.
"that's what i thought.", you nod but with a tightness to it, eyes avoiding his for a moment.
i don't mean anything to you, i never meant anything to you. you just used me and messed with me.
"don't talk to me again. i don't want anything to do with you anymore."
the boy in front of you gives you a long stare and noticeably gulps, unable to say anything. perhaps, if words would leave his mouth, if he could at least apologize, you would forgive him and continue your friendship. as a matter of fact, you hoped for him to do it. however, seeing that he doesn’t bother apologizing, you realize that all this time you’ve been fooled. without waiting any longer, you eventually leave.
maybe forever?

Tumblr media
↳ pairing: lee suho x reader
↳ synopsis: in a world where a red string connects soulmates, everyone knows who they belong with. except you, who hasn’t been able to see your string since you were a kid.
↳ warnings: language (like one word), a copious amount of angst and heartbreak
— note: there’s a serious lack of suho fics out there so I decided to write my own. lmk if you guys want me to write a second part!
There was something inexplicably eerie about being the new girl in a school that was twice the size of your old one. Not because it was an unfamiliar setting, nor was it because you were painfully shy and terrible at making friends. It wasn’t even your disparaging insecurities that had you feeling so shook. No, it was something you couldn’t put your finger on, something you couldn’t begin to name. A discomfort you could feel all the way down to your bones.
Your inordinate unease swelled into full blown panic with every step you took toward your new classroom. Somewhere in your unorganized mind, you could hear your mom’s reassuring voice. Everything will be okay. You didn’t know if her words held any truth, but you really, really, really hoped she was right. You were being stupid, honestly. There was nothing to fear, but you couldn’t shake the foreboding feeling from your stature. Despite all the undesirable emotions you felt, your breathing was normal and your heartbeat was steady.
It took you a minute to gather yourself. You could do this.
After a very ineffectual pep talk, you finally got your feet to move. Your eyes were cast down as you entered the classroom. The rowdy classroom went silent once your presence became known. You swallowed the nerves and chanced a glance at your new classmates. The reactions were a mixture of curiosity and disinterest.
When your teacher introduced you to the class, you decided to really look at your new classmates. Among the sea of unfamiliar faces, one stuck out. An unnaturally attractive face belonging to an unfamiliar boy. His stare was strange. It was full of an intensity you couldn’t comprehend. You kept staring, in spite of yourself. Fuck. Was it possible for someone to be so attractive?
The clapping of your classmates pulled you back into reality. You were quick to look elsewhere, unable to understand the sudden lurch of your heart.
Suho couldn’t take his eyes off the new girl, more specifically, the string neatly wrapped around her index finger. He watched her carefully. The shy smile she wore was annoyingly adorable, and it made a foreign warmth spread across his chest and along his entire body. The new girl didn’t spare him another glance as she took her seat next to Jugyeong.
Lim Jugyeong.
He wasn’t her soulmate and she wasn’t his, but she was the girl who had unknowingly stolen his heart. That wasn’t about to change because some stranger who he was supposedly meant to be with came into his life with no warning.
Suho looked back to the front of the classroom without looking at the new girl again.
Tumblr media
The first time it happened, you wrote it off as fatigue. After all, you had just started middle school and trying to keep up with your new workload as well as your budding social life was exhausting. That day, the color of your string had faded a bit, but it was still visible. By the time you were on your way home it disappeared for a mere second before regaining its color. Days later, it was completely gone.
When your mom first found out you could no longer see your string, she became extremely distraught. It had affected her more than it did you, honestly. She wasted no time in taking you to see countless specialists and psychologists. Anything to keep you from becoming a freak that didn’t know who they were meant to be with. She unknowingly made you feel exactly like that.
Apparently, you were a rare case because every person you went to for help wanted to conduct a study on you and your condition. Fortunately for you, your mom didn’t want you becoming a lab rat and decided to stop seeking out help from strangers. Left with no other option, you went to one person who she believed could help you. An old friend of hers.
He wasn’t a specialist, just a regular doctor who came to the conclusion that a deep, scarring trauma had caused you to no longer see your string. You could remember the heartbreak on your mom’s face because you both knew what that trauma was.
Your mom did her best to help you. Spending more time together and countless hours of therapy did nothing for your condition. Nothing worked. You became convinced that trying to see your string again was futile.
And you were right.
Tumblr media
As time went on, you grew used to the unease that had latched itself onto you on that first day. The feeling in your bones settled in like an unwelcome guest who refused to leave. No matter what you did, you couldn’t shake the feeling. Eventually, you gave up trying.
However, something shifted when you crossed paths with Lee Suho.
You two had been put in the same group for a science lab. His attention had been solely on Lim Jugyeong, but there were times when your eyes would meet. Those milliseconds were just that, but to you they felt like an eternity. He rarely addressed you, but when he did, you could feel the pressure weighing on your bones fade bit by bit. That familiar feeling soon shifted into a more comfortable presence that you yearned to feel forever.
It was subtle, but at some point, Suho’s emotionless face changed. The change would last for no more than a second, but it always did when he looked at you. That change had your entire stature seeping with warmth. You vaguely recognized the feeling as something akin to infatuation.
It scared you.
Of course, the possibility that he might be your soulmate crossed your mind, but you quickly dismissed that thought.
Too many times had you gotten in trouble for insisting someone was your soulmate when they really weren’t. Any special bond or feelings that grew between you and someone else couldn’t always be interpreted as the ones between soulmates. You learned that the hard way.
Besides, your soulmate would make it clear to name themselves as such even if you couldn’t see the string.
At least, you hoped they would.

Before you went into high school, your mom insisted you see one last psychologist with the promise that the one she found was different. Reluctantly, you went to see this woman who diagnosed you with this absurd illness. You felt like it was made up, but your mother was adamant that you did have it.
You knew she only thought that because you had told her you no longer had any interest in finding your soulmate. Her panic was unrivaled after hearing those words come out of your mouth. You wrote off her panic because your disinterest in soulmates was only natural. How could it not when—at the time—it was all your friends could talk about? Talk about being the odd man out.
Okay, and maybe you also weren’t keen on meeting new people because of the fear that they could easily ignore the string you couldn’t see. There was also the fear that if you ever did meet someone you wanted to spend your life with, they could end up not being your soulmate and vice versa.
But those feelings would all fade with time, you were sure.
Tumblr media
Hanging out near the back of the school where no one ever went became a regular thing for you. It was the one spot where you didn’t have to worry about your soulmate or anything related to that—a safe place. Until it wasn’t.
“You can’t just ignore the bond you have with her.”
The angry voice was one you vaguely recognized. You peeked around the corner, eyes widening when you saw Han Seojun and Lee Suho in the middle of what appeared to be an argument.
“Why are you bringing that up?” Suho’s eyes narrowed. “Do you still like Jugyeong?”
Seojun’s gaze hardened. “It’s not about that.”
It was wrong to listen on what was clearly meant to be a private conversation, but your feet wouldn’t move. You could see Suho’s anger and irritation from your hiding place, and for some reason seeing him that way made a blistering discomfort latch itself onto your chest.
“You’re being unfair to Jugyeong and Y/N.”
The mention of your name had your insides twisting into an uncomfortable knot. You didn’t understand why or how you had anything to do with the discussion, but you had a feeling the reason wasn’t anything good.
“Just because she’s my soulmate doesn’t mean I owe her anything.”
There was a sharp pain in your chest, one that grew into a searing pain as the seconds ticked by. You might’ve cried out in pain had it not been for the shock that consumed you. In a sudden instant, your vision became blurred with tears as you staggered back. His words were the worst form of torture, like a piece of barbed wire that wrapped itself around your heart.
Your fate was a cruel one, forever bound to someone who refused to acknowledge the bond between you two. Lee Suho was your soulmate, but he didn’t want to be.
It was a cruel reality to have your worst nightmare come to life.
Tumblr media
“Is it true?”
Suho raised an eyebrow at you. His gaze didn’t soften like it once did. Now it just remained impassive, almost annoyed. The cold look he was giving you was making you regret even coming to him in the first place.
“Are you really my soulmate?”
“Why are you acting like you don’t know?” Suho’s unaffected stare unsettled you. “You’ve known since the first time we saw each other.”
But you hadn’t known. This entire time you had been driving yourself crazy thinking you were only imagining the connection between you two like you had done countless times after you first lost the sight of your string. Despite wanting to tell him that, you settled for a question.
“What about Jugyeong? Don’t you think she—?”
“Are you going to tell her?” He interrupted you.
You could literally hear your heart crack. Of course that’s all he cared about. He didn’t care whether or not you were hurt and upset, hell, he probably thought you had no interest in your soulmate. But he was wrong, so very wrong.
“Why?” He demanded. “You don’t want me as your soulmate either. You’ve been ignoring the bond, too.”
I can’t see my string! You nearly yelled. The words were clawing at your throat, eager to be released. But you found yourself unable to tell him the truth.
“My soul chose yours,” you said, close to tears. “And a soul just doesn’t forget that.”
For a moment, one that was so quick you thought you imagined it, Suho looked remorseful. Stupidly, it made you hope that he would accept you and the bond that bounded you together.
“Don’t tell her.” His voice didn’t sound like a plea, but you knew what he was asking you to do was clearly important to him. “I can’t loose her.”
And so, you agreed. Even if it meant that your own heart would be left in tatters.

Bang Chan and I - 7
Tumblr media
The morning came sooner than you had hoped. You really were planning on sleeping more but you were reminded of last night's activities with Chan and you guess you could deal with the consequences. And on the plus side, today was Friday and you were going to get a much-needed weekend the next two days.
Your morning routine was pretty basic, doing all the same things to get ready, but just a little slower thanks to the dull coming from your lower body. You still ended up having time for coffee and thanks to it being your first payday you thought you'd get everyone a little something today. You pulled out your phone and messaged Chan to see if he would come to meet you at the coffee shop next to work and help carry things. Thankfully he answered with a quick "yes" and you were soon in tow with a lot of caffeine.
"How was the rest of your night?" he asked you while you made the short walk into work.
"It was okay, could have gotten a bit more sleep but I really can't complain, can I?" and he laughed at your response.
The rest of the way into the building was peacefully quiet until you reached the practice room. From the outside of the door, you could hear people being a little noisy so you could only imagine how loud it was on the inside. When you entered several pairs of eyes darted towards you before you were swarmed.
"Coffee? Y/N did you get us coffee today?!" all of Stray Kids were yelling at you.
"She gets me coffee every day, you didn't forget me this morning, right Y/N?" Seojun remarked from the corner of the room. The novelty of free coffee had warn off of him already.
"Of course! I didn't forget you. I just thought we could all enjoy a nice start to the Friday." as you said it, Chan seemed to have an emotion cross his face that almost looked like an annoyance, but you brushed it off. It's not like you had said you were together and you just thought of Seojun as a coworker.
Everyone had their coffee and took a few sips before getting into their places for warm-ups, you walked to the back of the room to set down your bag and get out of your sweat pants but you made sure to turn your back to the boys. Even so, as you turned back around almost everyone's eyes were on you. Most were a little surprised, apart from Seojun who was used to it, but Chan, Felix, and Hyunjin were almost blushing at the sight.
"Oh come on, I have shorts on, it's not like you all haven't seen a person take their pants off before," you said. Seojun started laughing first and then the boys followed. You rolled your eyes playfully and headed to the computer to start music for your warm-ups.
When everyone had their giggles out and were warmed up, you started to practice. Today was focusing on individual movements and changes in position. All the finer details of the choreography. You were working in groups broken up between you and Seojun. Your group consisted of Lee Know, Hyunjin, Chan, and I.N. Seojun had Felix, Changbin, Han, and Seungmin in his group.
Throughout the day Chan and Hyunjin kept sneaking glances at you and blushing whenever they got caught. Lee Know and I.N. just seemed really focused all day. They aced their parts before the other two.
At lunchtime, people were splitting up today. You decided to head down to the cafeteria with Seojun and the other choreographers since it had been a while since you talked with everyone. You were thankful for the break from the boys too because of how many times you had been stared at that day so far.
"So, Y/N, how do you like working here so far?" they all asked you while you were eating.
"It is honestly amazing, everything I could have hoped for really," and it really was the truth. You didn't think you had ever been happier. Moving here had been everything you hoped for.
The rest of the lunch hour was spent getting to know your coworkers better. You could really feel a solid friendship forming with Seojun. You both seemed to hold the same values in general about life. And he was pleasant to talk with. Towards the end, you made a comment about how you didn't even have his phone number yet, which would be nice to have with him being your dance partner and everything. He seemed to blush at the idea of exchanging numbers but you each programmed the numbers in when you were walking back up to the practice rooms.
You could hear footsteps behind you but you ignored them. There were a ton of people walking around today anyway. You decided to head to the bathroom before going back in and Seojun said he would get the practice started so they didn't have to wait for you. When you walked down to the bathroom you felt someone grab your wrist from behind and you jumped a little.
When you turned around, you noticed it was just Chan and you sighed in relief.
"Hey, what's up?" you asked him.
"I don't want to sound jealous, but I couldn't help but notice you are close with Seojun. You don't have feelings for him, do you? I don't want to cause any problems between you two," he sounded genuinely worried that he had caused you trouble.
"No! Seojun is just a friend, really."
"Okay, sorry for assuming. I... I just think maybe we should talk after work? Can I come over?" he asked a little sheepishly.
"Of course! You are always welcome!" you might have said it a little too quick and eager because Chan smiled at you in a knowing way. He started walking towards you, backing you into the little alcove by the bathroom area.
Chan leaned into you and put his head next to your ear and whispered, "Good, I love seeing you eager for me, kitten."
You gasped and started blushing from the interaction. Chan walked away back to the practice room and left you to your business. You were thankful that you had time to reorganize your expressions because you were sure someone would have noticed if you came back the shade of a grapefruit.
The rest of the time with Stray Kids that day was spent perfecting the first half of the song with the individual parts. You even had time for a couple of rounds with everyone assembled together. The dance was really coming together nicely. They would probably only need one more practice to learn the other half of the song before they could practice it on their own.
At 6, Seojun and the members all said they had other places to be and headed promptly out of the practice room. Chan didn't say what time he would be done but said that he would text you when he left the building so he could walk you home. So that left plenty of free time for you to work on the dance for Red Lights. Only certain portions would need choreography so you took care to listen to the song several times before starting to plan the moves.
Chan texted you a couple of hours into your hard work but you had missed the text. You were hyper-focused on getting a lot accomplished. A couple of minutes later there was a knock at the practice room door before Chan entered. He laughed when you jumped but looked concerned when he noticed how sweaty you were.
"Come on, let's get you home so you can shower," he said. So you packed up and left together.
Chan walked you home like normal. There was nothing awkward about the time you spent together. It just seemed like your personalities were meant to be together in some form. Friendship with him was comfortable and easy and sex was even more natural thank goodness.
You closed the door behind you when you entered your apartment and when you turned around Chan placed a kiss on your lips. It surprised you at first but you soon closed your eyes and embraced it. You broke apart and looked at him curiously.
"I have been wanting to do that all day, you have no idea how hard it was holding it in," he told you. You blinked at him in shock again. You knew he had that effect on you, you had also been fighting urges the whole day, but hearing that he felt the same about you was a whole different story.
"Well feel free to do that more often then, I don't mind," and he smiled back at you. "So, what did you want to talk about?" you asked him.
He got pretty serious then and looked at you like he was afraid you were going to bolt any second. "Y/N, I don't want to come off as insensitive, and we probably should have talked about this before we... well you know... But what I want to know, I guess..."
"Chan, please. I am not fragile. You're not going to scare me away by being honest with me. So come on, out with it."
"Okay, okay. What I want to ask is what you are hoping for in a relationship with me? I am not going to lie, I cannot have a public relationship. And I don't know if I want to have someone be committed to me but not be able to really do anything, we wouldn't be able to go on dates or anything like that." It seemed like he wanted to ramble on more and find more things to worry about, so you stopped him by reaching out and placing a hand on his arm.
"Chan, as much as I like you, I would never want to jeopardize your career and everything you have worked so hard to build. I wouldn't ask you to be in a relationship with me. Plus, I can't speak for now, but I might want dates with someone someday. But that also doesn't mean that I want this fling to end either." There it was, everything spilled on the table. But if you were really honest with yourself, you were hoping that this could be a friends with benefits type situation. For the first time in your life, you were hoping to express some promiscuity.
It looked like he was hard in thought, warring with things inside his head, decided whether or not to voice what he wanted to say most right now. Something must have won because his expression looked decided finally.
"Listen, I know that it isn't a very honorable thing to want, but can we be friends with benefits?" his voice trailed off after he said what he wanted, it looked like he was steeling himself to hear you say no, his face turned down towards the floor of your apartment.
You walked over to him and put a hand under his chin, forcing him to look up at you.
"I know that you think I am going to say no, but that is really what I was hoping you would want. We would need to set rules of course, what is allowed and what isn't, but I really think that it is the best option."
He looked totally relieved when you spoke your peace. "Of course! I am just happy that you still want to be with me in some way, even though it's all I can offer you really."
You smiled at him and told him that he could relax, you decided to make him some food. When you had both eaten and calmed down a bit, you hammered out the rules of your new relationship. Chan was going to tell the other members of your arrangements so that there weren't any worries on their side for their leader. You were both allowed to pursue other sexual relationships so long as you cleared it with each other first out of a sign of respect. Chan asked that you didn't pursue anything with Seojun, though. His reasonings were solid, since he was my dance partner it would make working with him much more difficult and Chan did not want it to turn sour in case things went bad.
"I just want to make sure that I am clear on the Seojun front though, I see the way that he looks at you and I think that it is just a matter of time before he makes his feelings known," Chan told you.
"Please, Channie. I really don't feel for him that way. And it doesn't matter anyway because you said you don't want me to and that is what matters most. If he says anything I will make sure he knows that I only want to be his coworker."
He smiled at how you took him seriously, listened to what really worried him. And you always would, too. Chan was extremely special, a rare personality. Now that you had him in your life, you couldn't imagine a day without being near him, enjoying his smile and laughter. You wouldn't do anything that could ruin that.
You snuck a glance over at your phone and noted how late it was, or early I guess. Chan noticed your face fall and asked what was bothering you.
"It just seems like there isn't ever enough time in the day. It is really late."
"Yes, I think there isn't much else to say? If you think of anything else that needs to be a rule for this situation just let me know. Not everything needs to be set in stone right now," his words brought up at least one more string of questions that you wanted off your chest before he left for the night.
"What if we develop stronger feelings for each other? Are sleepovers allowed? Cuddling? Hand holding?" Your words just seemed to fumble out of your mouth before you could stop them.
Chan smiled at your worried expression and put a hand on your cheek, "I don't mind any of those things. I won't hide that I have feelings for you, even now. Stronger feelings are a bonus. Sleepovers are amazing, cuddling is great, holding your hand is perfect for when we are alone together. Don't be afraid to communicate with me. That is going to be the thing that makes this relationship really work. And I will promise to always communicate with you, too."
He knew just how to smooth all of your worries. It was a relief to hear he felt the same way about you. You knew this was going to work out. You had never been with someone who was so mature, so open to talking about the things that needed to be said even if they were uncomfortable. And if this relationship ended up becoming more someday, you were both going to embrace it for all it would be worth.
Chan could tell that you had relaxed again and got up and gathered his things. He placed a light kiss on your lips before leaving for the night. And with that, you had a perfect night's rest.
***
After your long first week at work, it was finally time for the weekend. You knew that you had enjoyed this week, probably one of the best you have ever had if you were honest, but it was still work and you were tired.
There were so many thoughts going through your head that it felt like you had experienced a lifetime of events already.
You thought about how lucky you were to get this job and how well it seemed to be working out so far. Your coworkers were amazing from what you could tell and they genuinely cared about what they were doing. They all took time and effort to plan what they were doing carefully so that everything was the best it could be. Your dance partner had turned out to be amazing, too. Seojun's input on your dance moves had been extremely insightful and you valued your time together.
You thought about how much you loved your apartment and that everything came together so easily. There were still some decor pieces that you wanted to order online but most of everything else was already in its place and it made the transition to this new country so much easier. All of the little quirks of this place were still new to you but getting easier every day.
And you thought about Chan and Stray Kids. Getting the opportunity to meet your favorite band, let alone plan their choreography to their songs, was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You knew that you loved all of the members but you could start to tell their personalities from the time that you had spent together. Chan had turned out to be the best of it all. He was even sweeter than you had imagined he would be, more thoughtful and caring than you had known in the past. Your new friends with benefits arrangement had opened your brain to so many new possibilities that you didn't know were in store for yourself so soon into your new journey.
You thought of all of these things as you woke up on Saturday morning. It had all put you in an amazing mood. You got ready for your day and picked something cute from your wardrobe to wear. You settled on a crop top and burgundy skirt with attached suspenders, you threw a pair of dance shorts on underneath because of how short it was though. You decided to apply a little makeup to brighten up your skin, making sure to do light eye makeup with a little mascara to top it all off. When you were done, you looked in the mirror in your bathroom and admired your work. You really went all out compared to what you were used to. You quickly snapped a selfie and sent it to Chan to get his opinion, smirking to yourself when you thought about what he would say.
You had just barely hit send when your phone started to ring. You looked down and noticed Chan was requesting to Facetime you. You answered the phone and held it up to find Chan, Felix, and Hyunjin all staring back at you.
"Good afternoon, gentleman!" you giggled at the formal greeting and they laughed too.
"Good afternoon, gorgeous! Don't be mad but we saw your selfie too and we had to tell you how amazing you looked today!" Felix had said before Chan could even open his mouth to say anything. Hyunjin nodded in agreement and Chan just smiled.
You noticed that your face started to blush slightly and all three of them started to laugh at how cute they thought it was that they had made you blush.
"Aish! Stop, you guys are making it worse!" you were now a certified shade of dark pink thanks to the guys egging you on over the phone.
"Allllright, we will stop," Chan said, "But I did want to talk to you today. We have some things to do for the next hour or so but after that did you want to come and see our dorm today?"
You were shocked, does that mean that Chan had told the members already about the two of you? As if in answer to your unspoken thoughts, Chan nodded at you in confirmation. Well, that was a relief, at least you wouldn't have to hide anything in front of them. And it would give you more time to get to know everyone.
"Sure, so long as it is okay with everyone, I don't want to intrude on anything."
"Yes! We took bets on how long Chan would take before asking you to come over. We are all excited to get to know you outside of work!" Hyunjin had said. It made your blush return and they all laughed.
"Well great, did you want to meet us at the company in an hour and a half? We can let you know when we are ready to head out," Chan stated. He looked more excited than he was letting the others know.
"Sounds good, I need to start some choreography for a certain duo anyway," you winked and hung up to the sight of Chan blushing this time. You didn't want him to have the last word.
*******
You were in the practice room where you and the other chorographers had first met and planned the Red Lights dance. You had been here for about an hour when you got a text from Chan saying that they finished early and were ready to head out. You let him know which room you were in and soon all eight members filed into the room.
They all greeted you and commented how they liked your outfit.
"Do you guys want to see what I have so far? I would love some criticism on the ending," you asked them all.
They nodded eagerly, not one of them speaking up. Were they nervous? It is just a dance, you laughed inwardly and started the music to near the ending of the song where the most choreography was. As you dance, you noticed all of their eyes on you. Chan and Hyunjin, however, looked as if their eyes were going to pop right out of their skulls.
When you finished you turned to them to hear what they thought and they all were silent.
"Oh no, it is bad, isn't it? You guys hate it!"
It was a minute before Chan had the thoughts arranged to say what he wanted, "No! I really like it. It is just that we haven't done a sexy song before and I don't think any of us really imagined what the dance would look like. I mean, I can only speak for myself that I liked it..." he trailed off.
Hyunjin and the others nodded in agreement with Chan's statement and it started to cheer me up.
"Good, I was worried it was a bit too much. But it isn't fully ready yet. I am excited to see you and Hyunjin dance it together though! It is going to be a great show!" and at your words, Hyunjin and Chan blushed and the other members started laughing at their flustered states.
You gathered your things while you waited for them to go back to normal and you all headed out of the building. They lead you to the back entrance where their van was waiting to take them home. It was a short ride but you were sure that the van was necessary to keep from attracting too much attention to the group of idols walking down the street.
When you walked into their dorm you were happy to find that it had a very homey feel to it. There was a big living room with a large couch to fit everyone and a decent-sized kitchen area. The rest of the place was sure to be the guys' bedrooms.
Everyone started to head in different directions, some of them heading to the dining area where some computers were, Seungmin was heading down a hallway, and Chan, Felix, Hyunjin, and Lee Know were heading with you to the couches in the living room.
"Do you guys want to play a game?!" Felix asked excitedly. You all agreed that it sounded like fun and you decided on a game of team Uno. You hadn't played in years so you decided to sit out the first round and be a sideline mentor for Chan. Chan and Hyunjin were going to be on one team and Felix and Lee Know were on the other.
You were all situated around the square coffee table in front of the couches, each team taking opposite sides of the table. The game started out pretty slow. Chan had a decent hand with plenty of different color options but Hyunjin had been blessed with mostly plus cards. As the game progressed you inched yourself behind Chan and Hyunjin but close enough that if one of them turned their heads too quickly it would collide with yours, but they didn't seem to care too much.
Felix had just played a skip card for Chan's turn for the third time in a row when he got frustrated and turned to face you, only to find himself with his lips against your cheek. He pulled away lightly and you turned to face him with a blush on your cheeks, thankfully they couldn't see because you were wearing makeup today. You knew that everyone was looking at the two of you because of how quiet it was. Hyunjin started laughing at Chan's embarrassed expression and Lee Know and Felix joined in, you were trying very hard to stifle a giggle. Chan looked like he was caught between wanting to say something and laugh himself. He settled on an awkward smile and cleared his throat, after that we stopped laughing and turned back to the game.
In the end, Felix and Lee Know lost due to the sheer amount of plus cards Hyunjin had. The entire game was savage though, you had never really seen people play Uno so intensely before. You were sure that you would have to get to know them a lot better before you subject yourself to that game with them. They all decided that one game was enough competition for the day. No matter how brutal the game had been, they parted the table and sat on the couches and it was like the game never happened. Everything was back to normal between them, a real testament to how strong their friendships were.
It turned out that they had a lot of questions for you, Seungmin had come to rejoin the group at the couches and they all had things to ask you. It was nice to know that they wanted to get to know you just as much as you wanted to get to know them. You had all talked for what felt like hours about anything you could think of. Chan sat next to you, occasionally putting his hand on your thigh, he had angled himself in front of you slightly so that it couldn't be seen by the others. Even though they didn't know he was doing it, it didn't mean that it made it any less distracting. To say that it made you crave for him to whisk you off to a deserted corner of the house and take advantage of you would be putting it lightly, it really was a very strong feeling.
Jeongin came into the living room and announced that he was hungry and soon everyone was mumbling in agreement. You had offered to go and pick up some pizzas for everyone but Chan wasn't having any of it.
"You paid for our coffees this past week, no way am I letting you buy us things twice," Chan said and they all nodded towards you. "I will buy this time and have it delivered so we don't have to go anywhere," and he set to his task of ordering a variety of pizzas for everyone to share. Chan grumbled about his phone though because the battery was low so he got up to go charge it.
As soon as Chan left the room Lee Know came to sit in the spot that was vacant. He looked you directly in your eyes and held the contact. Even though he was younger than you by a year it made you a little uneasy so you looked away towards the others and they seemed to be embarrassed by his boldness.
"So, Y/N... Chan hyung told us about your relationship. I want you to know that he doesn't take these things lightly so for you to make that big of an impression on him in just a week has me a little freaked. If you end up doing something to expose him or paint him in a bad light, you will have to worry about me coming down on you... Understand?" Lee Know said everything in such an even tone that it added to the intimidation factor of everything.
"Trust me, I know you all haven't known me very long but it was sort of my idea, I don't want Chan or any of you in any trouble because of me. I made that very clear to Chan that I have no intentions of coming between what you all have. It is too important. And I really want you guys to know that if you are worried about anything you can talk to me about it, I am an open book and I am happy to listen," they all listened carefully to what you had to say. Lee Know seemed to relax back into the seat more and smiled at you.
"Good, now that I have said what I need to I have no reservations about treating you as another friend," he told you.
"Uh ohhhh," Jisung said. He started to giggle after that and the others seemed to agree with what Jisung had said.
"What? What uh oh?" Out of anything that was said, this is what worried you.
"A friend of Minho hyung's is a dangerous thing. You better watch out, otherwise, he will taunt you to death," Seungmin said and they started laughing. Lee Know nodded in agreement to their statements and you laughed and rolled your eyes at him. You know he saw it, too because the look he gave you sent a shiver down your spine.
Chan came back into the room then and only briefly looked at Lee Know sitting next to you and decided not to fight him over it. Probably dismissing it as a good bonding opportunity.
"The pizzas should be here in the next couple of minutes or so, sorry I took so long," he said, but the apology seemed to be directed only at you. You grinned at him to let him know he was forgiven and that it was fine.
Ten minutes later, Chan got a notification that the pizza arrived and left to go and grab it from downstairs while everyone else stood up to set up the dining area. When you stood up, Lee Know followed behind you, he grabbed you by the wrist before you walked too far ahead of him. The others were busying themselves and didn't seem to notice. He leaned forward so that his mouth was right next to your face.
"You look great today, by the way, Y/N... and call me Minho," he whispered in your ear then walked in front of you, he turned to face you before he reached the dining room and winked at you right as Chan walked back into the room.

True Beauty | Little by Little | Han Seojun x Kang Soojin fanfic series/one shot? Idk
Part 2 , Part 3
This is the first time, I'm posting something on Tumblr, so bear with me haha, I don't know why but I kinda would've loved to see Soojin with Han Seojun after the time leap and her redemption. It's my opinion and I'll feel absolutely grateful if y'all respect it, thank you, I hope y'all will like it.
Tumblr media
Warnings: Slight panic attack trigger mention (not edited)
It was late in the evening and it had been an hour since Seojun left the studio for the day, he now sat on one of the stools staring at the empty glass in front of him. He didn't know why he was here but there he was, he remembered coming to this place for the first time, the night he let Jugyeong go back to Suho and after that night, he found himself coming back to this place often, whenever he needed a break or to get away from everything for a while.
He rubbed his face a little too harshly to check if he was sober enough to move and to his luck, he was just tipsy. He paid for his order and bought himself a simple soda before leaving the place. He put his mask and beanie on and kept walking as the cool wind hit him. He kept looking around to see if anyone recognised him but much to his pleasure no one did. His eyes stopped and soon did his feet when his eyes fell on a familiar figure. He blinked twice to make sure if he wasn't hallucinating.
What was she doing here?
He felt bold and decided to walk up to her. He kept walking till he stood a feet away from her. She had pamphlets in her hands and struggled as she tried to hold them steady and approached people to help people in need. She took out another pamphlet out as she felt a figure walk near her and looked up only to freeze in her place. Her words stopped in her mouth as she looked at those eyes. She was not blind to not recognize who was standing in front of her.
He expected his face to lift in a scowl as usual but it didn't. He was surprised, indeed and definitely had no words to speak. He knew that she met Jugyeong and reconciled with her but he never really bothered to know about her whereabouts. But after what he saw in front of him, he definitely didn't want to be that person who would laugh on her face and blame karma and he obviously didn't want to ack like a jerk and rub salt on her open wounds. So he didn't speak a word and just observed her as she stared right back at him.
She changed so much, he observed. Something about her was different, it wasn't like she was not the Kang Soojin he knew in his teen days, she was still her, but she looked so much better, somewhat relaxed and for some reason it felt like whatever that ate her then was not there around her now and it was very visible on her face. He shook his head wordlessly and turned around.
"Ya, Han Seojun." She called out as he stopped in his place. There was silence for a while as she took a deep breath and walked closer to him.
"I owe you an apology." She said as he blinked while his back faced her.
"Can we go somewhere where we can talk alone?" She continued hesitantly expecting him to walk away as soon as those words left her mouth but to her surprise he turned around and looked at her.
"Okay." He said and followed her.
-
"Thank you." Soojin said and bowed a little to the helper and sat in her chair as Seojun studied her.
He leaned forward and took a bite of the food in front of him and she gulped as she faced him finally.
"What I did back then was very foolish of me. I despise myself for stepping down to that level." She said as he listened to her.
"And I don't expect you to forgive me because I am asking you to. I know I'll always carry the guilt of hurting people who trusted me. I owe you an apology, even if what I did wasn't directed towards you." She said as she looked down and placed her palm on the table.
"I'm sorry." She finally said as he slurped his drink.
"It's alright." He said and she looked up with slightly wide eyes.
"What?" He asked as she opened her mouth to say something but closed it again.
"I didn't expect you to forgive me so easily." She said as he placed his drink on the table.
"Like you said, what you did wasn't directed towards me. If Jugyeong gave you another chance, I can do it too. Anyways, We weren't really friends in the first place, so yeah." He said as she nodded and then there was a wave of silence that surrounded them.
She felt grateful that he forgave her.
"You didn't come to Heegyeong unni's wedding?" She asked.
"Yeah, I was busy with my debut and all of that." He replied with a shrug.
"Oh." She replied as he nodded.
"So, you are an idol, now." She said as he looked and rolled his eyes slightly.
"Yes, that I am." He said.
"How does it feel to be one?" She asked.
"Stressful. But, I feel happy that I get to live my dream." He said with a small smile on his face. She smiled back and nodded.
"I thought you didn't come because of well...nevermind." She said as he looked at her and she ignored his gaze and went back to eating her food.
"Honestly, I didn't come because Jugyeong told me that she invited you." He said as she looked up.
"Well, of course, you hate me." She mumbled and to her surprise he heard it.
"I did. But, I don't think quite the same now." He said.
"Does it mean you hate me less now?" She asked as he chuckled to her surprise.
"Weren't you the one who despised me?" He asked as he raised one of his eyebrows and she rolled her eyes.
"Maybe, I was and it was because of obvious reasons." She said in a light humourous tone.
"Is that so? Can I know the obvious reasons please?" He asked as she cleared her throat and lifted her fingers to start counting and he could not help but notice how her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as she revisited those years.

"Soojin-ah" Soo ah called out as she held her friend's hand and pulled her along and made her sit on the table where all her friends were seated on. She looked around and found Cho rong eating as Hye min tried her best to control her laughter while looking at her partner and eating her food in silence, Tae hoon was asking Soo ah to eat first and take selfies later because the food might cool down and not taste the same, Jugyeong was explaining something on her phone to Suho as he fed her and then there was Seojun who looked appalled at the sight of the couples that surrounded him. He was seated right in front of her at the corner of the table and sulked as he leaned his head on the pillar next to him and waited for his food. His eyes were closed and disgust was clear on his face. It had been two months since she first ran into him on the road while distributing pamphlets for a charity event and now they were friends and dare she say best friends because it haunted her how comfortable she felt around him and how she actually liked spending time with a guy who once so full of himself. She pushed her leg forward and tapped his shoe. He got startled and opened his eyes to look around and then looked at Soojin who smiled innocently at him. He lips lifted in a scowl as he murmured something and went back to sleep as Soojin chuckled, ofcourse sleep was important.
He jolted up again and looked at her as she was looking at the menu.
"Ya Kang Soojin. When did you come?" He asked.
"A few minutes back." She replied as her eyes checked the menu out and he looked at her and couldn't help but smile as she observed the prices of the food items.
He missed her, it had been a week since they last saw each other because he was busy with recording his new album and couldn't find time to catch up with her as she was busy arranging and hosting charity events.
He cleared his throat as he saw Suho look at him and then at Soojin and went back to feeding Jugyeong as she opened her mouth wide. Seojun rolled his eyes at Suho and scrunched his nose up, he sighed as he relaxed his face and then looked at his phone and scrolled through his social media to find something interesting, his order appeared in front of him when he sat his phone aside. He thanked the waiter and dug in. Soojin just stared at with disgust as he finished the entire plate by the time her food arrived and he shrugged as he looked at her.
A smile appeared on her face before she could stop herself, she shook her head and looked at her plate, neither of them knew what was happening but the entire table looked at them start a new chapter in their own books.

Soojin sighed as she sat on her table and removed the hand that covered her forehead as she completed her work. Today was a very stressful day for her with so many events to plan but she was happy that she got to relax later as Seojun promised her a meal at her favourite restaurant and then a game night.
She switched the lights off, picked her belongings, locked the room and walked out. She smiled as she remembered how many times Seojun apologised to her for not attending the event which was arranged by her and promised to make it up to her. She didn't know how both of them got there but they did. Her younger self would've laughed on her face if she said that she would be one of Seojun's close friends one day.
To be honest, they were nothing alike, she was smart and he was well kinda dumb, she came from a very different household where she yearned for love from family and he came from a family who absolutely loved him and provided him with as much comfort as possible, she was terrible at singing and his voice was absolutely beautiful, but maybe the difference was something that made them different than the others out there, it made them unique.
She bumped into someone and her smile faltered as she looked at the person. Her heart raced in her chest and she felt terrible memories flood her head and she froze in her place. Tears blurred her vision as she looked at the person in front of her.
"Soojin?" The figure, her father asked and she heard footsteps approach them but she didn't turn around to look at who it was as her eyes were fixed on the person in front of her.
"Ya, Kang Soojin. See, I'm early..." Seojun trailed off as he noticed the presence of another figure around her.
"Get out." She said with anger in her voice as it broke in the end.
"Soojin..." Her father asked again.
"GET OUT." She screamed as both the figures around her remained still in their place, while one was in shock and the other was worried. She waited for a while for her father to leave and when she noticed that her father wasn't leaving anytime soon, she turned the other way and walked past him as Seojun looked at her and followed her outside.
"Soojin?" He called out as she kept walking.
"Soojin?" He called louder but she still didn't stop, her vision was blurry with the tears that kept running down her cheek and she kept wiping them off aggressively. He ran towards her and held her hand to stop her and she turned around to snap at the person who did that but she couldn't when she looked at who it was.
"Come with me." He said softly as he took her to his car and both of them sat inside in silence, he started the car and drove to her apartment. When they reached, she got out without saying a word to him and walked towards the elevator. He locked his car and ran behind to stop her. He was surprised how she managed to get into the elevator in the time he locked his car.
"Soo jin?" He called as he finally caught up with her in front of her apartment and she stopped in her tracks.
She didn't turn around and sniffled quietly.
"Are you alright?" He asked hesitantly. He heard no response, tears didn't stop flowing down her cheeks. His heart dropped at the sight in front of him, he didn't like watching her cry, it hurt him and he didn't understand why it did, but it did. He hesitantly walked closer to her and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Say something." He said and at that moment she turned around, wrapped her arms around him and broke down in his arms. He was taken aback but he caressed her back slowly to calm her down. She hicupped as he stayed still and let her let it all out.
After a very long time, she finally stopped and let her hiccupping self dettach from him feeling a little embarrassed but he didn't care about it. He held her face and brushed the remaining tears off from her face and gave her a small smile.
"I don't know who that was and what happened. But, all I'll tell is, our past never defines us, it's behind us, it's like a closed book, you are not what you were years ago and I know that after getting to know you in the time we spent together in past few months. Don't let it bother you too much. Okay? Take care." He said as she looked into his warm brown eyes wordlessly and nodded, while she did that, a warm feeling spread all over her body at the closeness of his face and the softness of the tone of his voice and her heart fluttered in her chest.
"Call me if you need anything, but for now, go rest, when you feel better give me a call and no, I didn't forget that meal, we will go grab it when you feel better. Alright?" He asked as she nodded in his palms.
"Good night." He said and smiled at her before letting her go.
"Good night." She managed to croak out as she walked towards her apartment.
She walked in and waved at him and he waved back at her and walked away. Her heart beat rapidly in her chest as she closed the door and leaned her back against it.
It was ironic how someone who once called her a piece of trash and despised her so much comforted her and said that what she did in the past doesn't define who she is now.
A sudden realization hit her like a truck. How was she so oblivious to it? She wondered.
She never felt comfortable around anyone in her life but in Seojun's arms, it felt as if she belonged there. The way he caressed her calmed her wrecking nerves, it just made her feel safe there and as much as she didn't want to accept it and as much she was afraid of being heartbroken again, she knew at the moment that much to her dismay she developed feelings for someone who will look at her the way a friend does, again.
