We fucked up as a society and I’m very tired of 2023 and not being able to ship my favourite ships anymore, like a character not eveyone loves, having my own opinion.

When I say I ship Helsa people go INSANE. Not only they tell me I’m weird and crazy but sometimes also give me death threats. Once I left a comment on tiktok saying : „I dont ship elsamaren but I love your edits!” And then this girl checked my account and saw Hans/Helsa tiktoks and texted me : „Kill yourself honestly, you homophobic idiot”.My question is WHY? Why am I being called a homophobe when I’m not? And Why Can’t I ship Helsa? Is it killing people?Am I hurting innocent kids because of it? Setting World on fire? AM I FORCING YOU TO LIKE THIS SHIP? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT.

I don’t ship Elsamaren and Jelsa, I don’t think they have chemistry at all. I love Hans with Elsa and in my eyes they have the greatest tension and chemistry. But — Let me surprise you now…This is my own preferance! My point of view! My opinion! MINE.

i just rewatched frozen for the first time in seven years and this is MY TAKE on the trolls theory and why hans isn’t actually evil! i’ve been a truther of this since the movie came out when i was 7 years old 😭

first of all these romance scenes are INSANE hans genuinely gets on with her in an insane way they seem absolutely perfect for each other (which is the point i know) but when he expresses his concerns about his brothers it’s about them acting like he’s invisible! which he doesn’t know about anna! and the whole “i would never shut you out” is crazyyyy like this man is not playing

he is also doing good things when people aren’t looking! if he was really evil why would he care so much about the people? why would he try to reason with elsa instead of not killing her immediately when he believes elsa’s death will bring back summer?

HE SMILES WHEN ANNA ISNT LOOKING ‼️ why would he be giving her that lovestruck look if he was acting? it wouldn’t make any sense he has nothing to gain— every time he is nice he has NOTHING TO GAIN— MEANING HE IS TRULY NICE ‼️

you could argue “oh those soldiers attack elsa” BUT THEY ARENT UNDER HANS’S COMMAND— its weaselton’s command PLUS hans isn’t there for that part he’s outside fighting marshmallow— he seems genuinely concerned about elsa for the sake of anna, and accuses weasleton of treason against the two (even though, theoretically, weaselton would be the perfect ally if he were hoping to seize control as he hated the princesses)

and now to move onto THE TROLLS

they are depicted as evil as fuck from the beginning and the things they say to elsa traumatise her and are the reason for the bad events of the movie and why elsa and anna are apart (altho that’s also elsas dads fault fuck elsas dad)

the trolls are also known to do mind magic! they erase anna’s memory at the beginning and change memories completely to exclude magic— it’s not far fetched that they’d be able to change hans’s memories and motives

AND hans’s thematic shift comes immediately after THIS SONG where the trolls learn that kristoff could potentially marry anna if it wasn’t for hans, so they do exactly what they sing about and “get the fiancé out of the way”

BUT WHERE WOULD THIS FIT IN NARRATIVELY? i hear you ask

WELL

kristoff and anna are larking about for a while on that mountain, only rushing back to the village after the song. hans and the guards are making their own way down the mountain, it’s possible that immediately after the song, the trolls find hans and manage to magic his mind into evil and send him back with a STRONG motive to return and take over, him making it back at the perfect time to meet with anna just as the magic is seeping in and he’s switched to evil hans HENCE THE TWIST

TLDR: hans is genuinely awestruck of anna who is lovely, they share one of my fav disney songs ever, hans does good things when people aren’t looking and defends elsa + anna BUT THEN SUDDENLY THE TROLLS FIND OUT ABT HIM AS HER FIANCÉ AND HES SUDDENLY EVIL SO KRISTOFF CAN SWOOP IN???? there is FOUL PLAY involved

thank you for listening <3 hated how this wasn’t the plot of frozen 2 we were all robbed out of hans’s redemption and the mass murder of the trolls

Happy birthday Hans

I remember having seen an old Frozen concept art in which the characters were asociated with the seasons of the year. We know Elsa`s birhtday is in winter solstice, and Anna's birthday in summer solstice.

Since Kristoff was asociated with spring and Hans with autumn, their birthday dates must be 21st of March (Kristoff) and 21st of September (Hans). Let's celebrate the men of Frozen.

Is he really an irredeemable monster?

• Let's not forget that no one is prepared to deal with a sudden magical winter.

Hans was in a situation that he had to think a lot about, the queen escaped leaving an eternal winter, the princess went to look for her and he who only had superficial ideas of Arendelle had to take charge.

Were Hans' actions bad or do we only judge him by his last actions? Well, he had in mind to marry the monarchy to be king but we are all ambitious, Besides, it wasn't just that, he wanted to be recognized by his father, he wanted to at least feel loved by his dad for once, is that bad? besides, after everything he did for Arendelle, the best option to take the throne was him.

The council insisted at all times that Elsa was a monster, which council is against their queen? It wasn't just Hans' fault.

In the film, we see that Hans distributes blankets to combat the cold, gives them food, and tries to keep a kingdom calm in a stressful situation.

How would you feel if the queen plunged them into an eternal winter and the princess was missing? He was supporting them and fulfilling a duty that he should not have been Hans, so I think telling him "Unredeemable monster" It's a term that I don't think is for Hans.

Although Hans tried to murder Elsa and Anna, he not only did it to become king of Arendelle, but also because if he killed Elsa the winter would end. On Anna's side, even if he had kissed her, he would not have saved her because, as we know, "he didn't love her."

So is Hans an unredeemable monster for doing all this?

Let's remember that he grew up in an abusive family and that affects any child,

No idea. The romance with Hans is off to a good start and overall the one with Kristoff is also well done. The problem is that Hans is poorly written in terms of coherence with enormous wasted potential.
