Danish furniture designer Hans Wegner (April 2, 1914 - 2007), created around 500 designs during his long career, many of which are still in production.
“The Round Chair” as Wegner dubbed it, was made famous in the US through its use by candidates John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon during their 1960 presidential debate.
