Such a short statement. I don't know if it's a reply to my "Anti Yashahime" tag lol but thanks for the ask Tho I think Yashahime anime is trash, I don't hate any of the characters. Especially the 3 girls, they have great potential!! It's sad that they are wasted by the lousy story. I really love the characters design when Yashahime first announced. They are fresh, powerful and confident girl.

I love all of them but Moroha is the best one, you are right :)

So I was once again reading the Inuyasha manga and I'd gotten to the part where Miroku was going to use his wind tunnel to try and save himself and Sango from a hoard of demons despite being told not to and I noticed something. This panel-

Like this panel really just hit me in a way. It reminded me that Miroku has never really had anyone he could count on. All of his life he's really only had himself to keep him safe and who could understand his struggles with his curse. Then he meets Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango and Shippo and he's suddenly not alone anymore in fighting the battle that he's been in for his entire life.

It just makes me so stupidly sentimental knowing that Miroku has people who will have his back no matter what and seeing him love and appreciate these friends that he's grown close to over the series is one of the nicest things in the world.

That scene at the end of The Batman where Riddler is alone and distraught about being defeated also his love being unrequited in Arkham and then Joker comforts him, tells him he did well and then they instantly bond and cackle maniacally, heavily implying they’ll escape and destroy everything?

My #1 post of 2022

I cannot get over how good the Forger family is together. Each one of them knows it's fake and temporary, but they are all willing to put their best foot forward and make it work. Because of this, they are all so understanding of each other and yet feel self conscious they're not doing enough because they know it won't last forever.

Knowing this is all a cover, they could seriously do the bare minimum, do enough in public to make it look like they are the perfect family. But Yor truly cares about making sure she's a good wife and pulling her weight, and she's come to really care about Anya and I do believe she sees herself as her mother. Loid, while usually always thinking of the mission to justify his decisions, does a lot for Anya and is always quick to reassure Yor. He goes above and beyond to make their family happy. Anya's just willing to do whatever she can to keep this family together.

Like I know I've said this before and other people have said this before, but I seriously can't get enough of this family. They're the fakest family but the best family.

I’m back to tell you guys I’m losing it once again

I just can’t get over Inu being A FUCKING DAD and A PROUD ONE, he loves her so much!

And THE BOW Kagome made from materials from his dads grave and Inu’s hair, and SHES SO HAPPY TO RECEIVE IT

LOOK AT THIS HAPPY FUCKING PRECIOUS PUPPY

Kagome says the well is special to her and Inuyasha. And it takes me back to this epsiode in the final act I watched years ago.

This is my top favorite scene out of all of Inuyasha. From the moment he smells her scent and runs off to the well and reaches out for her hand. Jesus Christ I’m in shambles.

And LOOK AT MOROHA SHES SO HAPPY TO BE SOMEWHERE THAT IS SPECIAL TO HER PARENTS

And the way Inu blushes makes me think that Moroha was conceived here…..🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Then the way they are like “Okay Moroha go hide” when they are about to fight and she’s like “Nah how you think I survived all these years?” And she SHOWS TF OUT

JUST LIKE HER MAMA

Okay I’m an EMOTIONAL WRECK

Like to be alive and witness your favorite anime series from 10+ years ago have children and be proud parents and they all fight together really pulls at your fucking heart strings. Teenage me is thriving right now.

Things I'm absolutely adoring about the Yashahime manga so far:

Setsuna and Moroha growing up beside one another and having a close friendship.

Towa being a slightly clueless but enthusiastic person who rushes head first into things only to regret it soon after.

Protective papa Sota.

Moroha calling Towa a fool just like how her father Inuyasha called Kagome a fool the first time they met.

Setsuna being completely displeased by Towa and refusing to believe that they're twins because Towa sucks at fighting.

Grandma Kaede, just knowing that she raised the girls and is affectionately called Grandma makes me stupidly soft.

Moroha living up to the Inuyasha tradition of knocking on doors and saying things like, "Yo Grandma Kaede you alive still?" and receiving responses of irritation from Kaede like, "I'm not dead-! Quit being so loud!" Lowkey living for it.
