My smallest baby, Greg. I’ve not seen them since getting them as they choose to remain inside their hide, behind their elaborate dirt curtains and dirt mounds.
There's a lot of pictures and they're kinda big, I'll add them under the cut!
This one is Bandit, she's literally afraid of her own reflection. She's very cute though. (Phidippus audax)
This is Hally, she’s starting to be very confident. I’m not big on handling tarantulas but I’m very careful with her and always water/feed her over something soft now. (Hapalopus sp colombia)
This is the new mom! With her missing leg lol Quarter for scale! (Teminius insularis?)
And here are some of the new babies I just got yesterday!! (Cyriocosmus elegans, Cyriocosmus sellatus, and Davus pentaloris)
Macro of my tiny (but gorgeous) Hapalopus sp. Colombia, AKA the pumpkin patch tarantula. She molted just in time for the Halloween season! Right now she's about the size of my thumbnail. Her name's Linus!
The Pumpkin Patch tarantula (Hapalopus sp Colombia) is a hardy, New World, dwarf tarantula. This species is interesting because it comes in two forms. The Groot (large form) and the Klein (small form). The small form grows to a max size of about 3in (8cm) while the large form can reach a size of about 4.5in (12cm). They are a little nervous and quick to retreat into hiding when disturbed but mine spends a lot of time out on display. They arent very defensive but can be very fast, so not an ideal tarantula to attempt to handle frequently. But with the stunning and unique color pattern and adorable size, they make a great tarantula to add to your collection. Check out my YouTube video linked on this post for more information and some cool footage of this amazing species.
I just got a video of Trick moving around just because he wanted to!! Usually when I see him move, it's because I accidentally startled him (sry love), but this time he just felt like it!
I finally got my pumpkin patch tarantula 💖😭💖 its been on my wishlist for over a year now and a local seller had a bunch at the show yesterday!! Soooo tinnnyyyy but sooo good ;u;
Here is one of my gorgeous Pumpkin Patch tarantulas, Hapalopus sp. Colombia. They are a dwarf species and generally stay under three inches. They are also super fast!

Sorry for the radio silence, all. Things have been super complicated the last month or so (including a broken camera phone.. and a legit Loxosceles tag) but hopefully soon the photos will continue.
