In less than THREE months, this got over 1,244 responses and it was great! I can see that TWST EN's fanbase is HUGE on Malleus and I'm honestly amazed by how different it is to the JP side!

I am literally about to turn 36 in five days and not only am I single as a pringle, but I've still never been kissed or been asked on a date. And it is frustrating & painful as hell to watch everyone around you getting married and having babies when that's all your heart desires and younger you always thought by 36 you'd be married with at least three kids & a minivan.
It's even more difficult when some of those people getting married and having babies are the kids you used to baby sit.
So you start to wonder if you're just unlovable and it really messes with your sense of self worth & does a number on your self-esteem. And every time a well meaning friend or family member says something like "how are you still single?" you just paste on a fake smile ignoring the stabbing pain to your heart.
Because you have so much love stored up in you just wanting to be poured out caring for a husband and children and a home of your own that sometimes it physically hurts. So you try to soothe the pain by pouring that love on caring for friends and family, but it's not really the same thing.
And when the next wedding or baby shower invitation comes, you sigh, knowing that while deep down you truly are happy for those around you, you also know being around the happy couple is going to be another painful reminder of what you don't have and your heart breaks a little bit more.
I’m so sorry. I know how much it hurts ♥️
I’m going to be 29 in July, and I really, truly thought I would have a husband and at least one baby by now. I cried when I turned 25 because I always thought I would be married by then, and then I cried again when I turned 27 because I always thought I’d have my first child by then.
I know people mean well when they tell me I should be happy to be single and to enjoy all this time to myself, but sometimes I think it diminishes the genuine pain that I feel over not being where I thought I would be at this point in my life.
It’s okay to be sad about it, and to acknowledge that while your life is great, it’s not always what you had envisioned.

Happy birthday !!!!
Can I just say that even though your anxious about being 29, you actually make me feel really safe about the future and getting older. Like yeah I might still feel the same worries as I get older, but I will also get to experience so much goodness as well.
This is so lovely! I think one of the things I’ve learnt is that I’ll never grow out of certain things, like fandom. I always used to think when I turned like 25 I’d have my shit together and now I know that nobody has their shit together and we’re all just winging it ♥️

Just two days ago as I was on the train to London, I listened to your voice recording in which you responded to my comment on Benedict’s POV. I meant to leave a comment there but I couldn’t find the post, so I decided to send you a message here.
First of all, hope you’re feeling better! I honestly didn’t expect Chapter 7 to come out this fast but THANK YOU for giving your insatiable audience such a sweet treat before Valentine’s Day 💕
Secondly, I’m guessing you are from or live in the UK? I thought it when I was reading It Had to Be You and the scenes brought me back to so many familiar neighbourhoods and streets. London now feels much more romantic because of your story ♥️
Thirdly, Edith Piaf songs as chapter titles… you certainly know how to seize this romantic’s heart. My favourite Piaf song is La Foule. It’s probably won’t be featured in this story, but perhaps it can be of inspiration to something else?
Furthermore, I understand your response to my Benedict POV comment. I’ve never done creative writing so I don’t often notice writing techniques like narratives. Your explanation makes perfect sense to me. The focus is on the emotional struggle of the female reader and how she eventually falls into the inevitable. Benedict, on the other hand, doesn’t need to wrestle with his conscience to accept this fate.
Lastly, you’re truly a talented writer with amazing imagination! The first fic I read was Sonnet 29 and I still revisit it sometimes. Thank you for creating a world in which I can feel fierce passion and undying love — the kind lacking in the real life.

Yeah, my 2023 was a McDanno year indeed.
What makes me happy: that I found in this fandom other people focused on Danny's mental health issues ♥️🥲 and that people liked my "Jersey?! Nah. Danny's heart belongs to Hawaii" post 😉 What surprises me but also makes me happy: that I also found people liking (and some even sharing) my uniromantic!Steve and uniromantic!Danny headcanon (I knew that huge part of fandom headcanon them in so much different way and I was sure I was alone with my feels so finding these people was a really big surprise 😄).
And it looks like people like McDanno Daddies & Grace, Danny being jealous 😂 and we have quite a big "We're salty about Rachel's behaviour" club 🙂

I really really love how the lucky charm was designed to fit Chat Noir's way of thinking this time: straight forward and directly to the point
He even says so: "But, why did you do that? For once it was obvious! We just had to put it on Psychomedian's eyes to prevent him from using his power!"
Usually he understands how a lucky charm is being used once Ladybug comes up with a plan, but when she gets it he's always asking how on earth she's gonna manage to make it be useful
Loved that because Ladybug wasn't in a condition to properly use her power, the lucky charm acknowledged it and automatically adapted itself to the person who was in capacity of using it: Chat Noir

Theodore Nott had come to Hogwarts with a plan. Head down, quill up. Don’t make noise or friends – no enemies either – move through the shadows until graduation and then take a steady ministry job and repeat the process until retirement. Being a Triwizard Champion was not on the agenda. No one knows why or how the cup chose him either - most suspect dark magic because of his Death Eater father...but then why was Potter chosen too?
Basically, Theo is chosen as champion instead of Cedric which changes the entire dynamic of Slytherin House in books 4,5,6, and 7 - and also alters everyone's character development. This is my attempted re-write of how I think the story should have evolved and developed starting from book four and ending with a final year post-war. It will be a long, long, LONG, journey but I'm so happy you're all here with me ♥️ PA
