Well guys I suppose I should post this in case I don’t post till Christmas is over or I don’t think of doing it later. So Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah (sorry if I spelled that wrong), happy yule, and any other holidays I missed. OH! Have a Happy New Year as well! I would love to hear what you guys do for New Years Eve and also what you do during your holidays. Shoot me an ask letting me know what you do and stuff.

What you all got for Christmas or Hanukah? 

I just saw a post about it being a Baltimore tradition of sauerkraut with your holiday dinner. I forget that it’s odd but remembered an article about sauerkraut being really popular because of Germans here.

No more Jelly doughnuts for me this Hanukah. Just got way too messy (Totally lying I will eat ALL THE DOUGHNUTS!)

its so hard to feel like i belong in the jewish community. i cant really talk w my one grandfather and my other one is dead (they were/are both jewish while my grandmas are both catholic) and like i want to connect more w and learn more about my dead grandfather but doing tht means bonding w my abusive mother which is hell and a half and like i have somegood friends who have been amazing and helpful w all of this but the one tht helped the most and made me feel like i belonged the most is probably never going to talk to me again

I just found out it was the beginning of Hanukah so I hope whoever celebrates it has an amazing holiday!
I don’t know any books that are centered around Hanukah but you may not even have any time today to read because of all the celebrating that’s probably going to go on. (I’m not really sure, I only celebrate Christmas although I’m technically Jewish)
Anyways, I need to go wish my neighbor happy Hanukah too so stay crazy people!
