Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? prickly, maybe. in general muses that allow me to explore… ewan is more outgoing than i will ever be, but lets himself feel petty or jealous. hector is brash, but struggling with an uncomfortable and unexpected weight on his shoulders. azama invites conflict like he needs it to breathe, while ive typically been averse to conflict. florina is timid but trying to grow stronger for her friends (and herself, she comes to realize). henry is… an oddball, idk how to describe what draws me to writing him. change of pace maybe? requires thinking outside the box with his unique worldview. i dont tend toward angst but matthew is a good output for it if im feelin it haha.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? i think i like. when threads start to come together. yknow in stories when you can start referring to things that have happened? and you're like "woah wait i know what that's referring to!!"

when you manage to reach a shared history ig? i know im p slow re. writing but i cherish the bonds and overarching/intertwined stories my muses wind up with. people you meet touch your life in ways you might not immediately fathom…

Favorite TOA-related memory: lots of lock & key justice shenanigans… bunker … enjoyed unscripted a whole heck of a lot as well

— I joined TOA during the peak of Covid quarantining in 2020 when there was a huge convention dry spell. The indie roleplay scene for Fire Emblem during this time was uneventful too. Having no productive outlet for cosplaying or writing, it lead me to join my first RP group which was (jazz hands) TOA

— My zodiac animal is a rabbit

— I have hundreds upon hundreds of hours clocked on Super Smash Bros from Brawl to Ultimate. You'll never guess who I main.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Final Fantasy XIV, Project Zomboid, Phasmophobia, Touken Ranbu, and Stardew Valley in order of frequency.

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: I like bug types; my favorite Pokemon is Scizor. While not Pokemon my favorite Digimon, Kabuterimon, is also a bug. Honorable mention goes to Greninja.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? Saw Shadow Dragon in my local Gamestop one day and didn't buy it even though it stuck out to me with its somber and less colorful boxart. Next time I saw a Fire Emblem game in the store, i.e., Awakening, I bought and played it. The rest is history.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? If we're talking start-to-end I've played and finished FE1, FE3, FE7, FE9, FE11, FE12, Awakening, SOV, 3H, and Engage. The remaining games in the series I've played to either early or mid game.

Favorite Fire Emblem game: FE11 Shadow Dragon

Any Fire Emblem crushes? FE7 Rath was my first and only concrete FE crush. Marth was initially more of an aesthetic source of admiration though knowing his character better he likely exemplifies the ideal partner. Similar to Marth he's not really a crush, but right now I think a lot about Rafal, ironically less in the realm of looks or perfection and more at his attractive hot-and-cold personality.

Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Marth is my ride or die Fire Emblem character and that extends to him as a muse.

Have you had any other TOA muses? Besides Marth and Rafal I've also written Xane. Though there isn't a lot of data, my second muse slot historically (and presently) being reserved for dragons tickles me a lot.

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? Not really. My tastes are unexplainably versatile. I can favor the sweet and friendly golden boy type characters, or the less pristine and morally ambiguous "bad boy" types, and everything in-between. This isn't just true for TOA but also for characters from different series. My friends have a lot of trouble forecasting possible favorites for me because of it.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? Emotions. Conflict with those emotions. Mwahahahaha

Favorite TOA-related memory: The first few months into my TOA debut when everything was bright, fresh, and new. Meeting new friends and forging bonds with other characters was super fun and I still remember who was around me during that time. Farina (written by Maxie) is the closest muse to Marth in terms of when they joined TOA and who has stayed to this day.

Got any delusions that didn’t see the light of day in TOA that you’d like to share? I tend to be very stable, loyal, and proactive in my delusions. If they're strong enough I pursue them, like Xane and Rafal. Rath would be among them if I ever replayed FE7 and if I determined having three muses wouldn't make my performance suffer over all.

On This Day - Jan. 31st, 2019

This is it, people! I saved this for last before moving to February tomorrow. Although originally this supposed to be the 20th Anniversary of Smash Bros. back in 2019; which the date was Jan. 21st, 1999 where the original N64 releases.

However this year for its franchise turned 24 already, so happy “late” birthday for Super Smash Bros. Series. 🎂🥳 Do hope there’s something I can bring for next year soon. It’s my childhood favorite after all.

I really wanted to post something for Smash Bros.' anniversary yesterday, but I couldn't think of what. Then I remembered I had these screenshots sitting around that I never finished! But my heart just wasn't in it, so you'll have to forgive me for posting them a day late lol.

Super Smash Bros. is no questions asked one of my all time favorite series! I absolutely ADORE each entry, and I really don't think there's any other game series I've sunk this much time into. I love how many different ways you can play it, how crazy it is, and how much it just makes me love video games! I know it's very early but I'm ready for the next Smash already and I can't wait to see anything that comes next from the series!

All these pictures, with the exception of 64 and Melee, are taken on official hardware. Even the Brawl one thanks to the power of Project M! Also I think I have an idea of what I want to do for the 30th anniversary of the series. But we've got 5 years before that comes so I'll just have to sit patient. Happy (slightly late) 25th anniversary Super Smash Bros.!!

Also because I wanted to include a 3DS and Wii U stage I didn't get to do a Smash 4 DLC stage. If you're curious my favorite stage from the Smash 4 DLC is Midgar, no contest.

Just in case you were curious and because I'm a crazy person here's all the runner ups. I got back and forth on whose my favorite a lot though lol

Super Smash Bros. | Happy 25th Anniversary, Super Smash Bros. ----------

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the “Super Smash Bros.” video game series.

Super Smash Bros. shares a place in my heart next to the “Ben 10” franchise with this game series being the one that introduced me to the concept of crossovers. It was always entertaining to see Mario and Yoshi fight a giant Sonic in the middle of Green Hill.

The first game I played in the series was “Super Smash Bros. Brawl” back as early as 2014, and now ten years later, I’ve played every Smash Bros. game from “64” all the way to “Ultimate”.

If it wasn’t for Masahiro Sakurai, I wouldn’t be here talking about this. So, to commemorate this, I not only did a special logo for the anniversary but designed three wallpapers with the original eight in my art style, like what I did with my “Ben 10” anniversary wallpapers.

“Super Smash Bros.” will always, at least in my heart, be the “King of Crossovers” and I hope you feel the same way.

So, if you and your friends have some beef, SETTLE IT IN SMASH!

Yep, I'm so happy that Nintendo has confirmed new Super Smash Bros Ultimate content is coming as part of the 5th anniversary event with even more to come in 2024! Since five years ago, Nintendo released Smash Ultimate and five years later, in a surprise announcement, revealed some new updates coming to the game as part of the celebration. & according to a follow-up post, in January of next year, Nintendo will be holding a series of additional events with even more Spirits.

Happy 5th anniversary to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate :)

This game forever has a special place in my heart. I still remember the pre-release hype days and how I followed that journey as a teenager. Now, I'm 18 and I still enjoy and love this game.

Smash Ultimate helped me a lot during my much tougher times. Whenever I feel down, I would go ahead and play this silly little crossover game :)

I feel old knowing that this game is now 5 years old…here's to celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2028!
