When you poked your head out of your bedroom window, you did not expect to see a lanky man in a white party hat standing in the cold, shivering his ass off. In his hands, he held a periwinkle-blue-colored lunchbox cake. From here (if you squinted) you were able to see the dark lines of words written on the cake top in cobalt frosting.Β
"Happy birthday to you~!" Lee Seokmin began to sing, his eyes lighting up like the smile on his face when he spotted you. "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dearβ"
"Seokmin, it's not actually my birthday, you know," you called down to him with a giddy grin.
He pouted, bottom lip jutting out. "Well, I know that. I just wanted an excuse to get free cake from the bakery down the street." He inclined his chin behind him to where you knew the bakery he was talking about was.Β "And to see you," he added, eyes glittering even in the dim streetlight.
There was something about him showing up for no reason outside your house that made your heart feel like it could fly to the moon.Β
Seokmin pursed his lips in a cute, cheeky smile, raising the cake up toward you by extending his arms out. "It's kind of cold. Do you want some, Yn-ie?"
"Of course, I do." You giggled at the same time he did. "It is my birthday after all."

Fiona sighed as she pulled up to the house, seeing her assistant waiting at the door.
Anastasia Red was smiling as she had her phone to her ear. Fiona parked the car, the sound of Anaβs laughter filled the air as she stepped out of the car. She smiled, happy to be home.
With her husband staying behind in Storybrooke, Fiona had the authority to make sure things were still running smoothly. Doctor Crane should have arrived by now as well.
The long weekend away had been decent enough, but there was no place like home.
βAna, dear?β Fiona said as she stumbled slightly over a loose rock in the driveway. βWeβll need the landscaper to comeβ¦β
βYes, Mrs. Foster,β Ana said as she started to approach to help with Fionaβs bags.
Fiona stumbled again with a gasp as she felt something sharp strike her chest. She frowned, confused, as she looked at Ana. Her assistantβs eyes widened in shock. She watched as the womanβs mouth opened but Fiona couldnβt hear anything. Anaβ¦she was screaming.
Her husband's men were running out of the mansion and towards her.
She looked down at her chest to notice the red flower spreading across her white blouse, and then she understood.
Suddenly, Fiona could hear them clearly.
