Okay, so, during the holiday season (during which I celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, and my birthday... in 2022 all within the same 8 days... ) my mom gave me a "I don't know what you want so over the next year just tell me some things you want and I'll pay for them" gift, and I've already cashed that in twice - once for something I'll scream about excessively whenever it finally gets here (I have. no idea when that'll be. I just checked Amiami and it says "processing shipping," whatever the fuck that means.) The other time was to put in an order from @shandian-go's in-stock sale (which appears to be closed again?). The "must have" item that got me to make that purchase was 2ha Vol. 3 Chinese, which I wanted no matter what (and which I've already posted a little about the extras, but I'll gather them all some time and take pics, it came with SO MUCH STUFF ASFADFADG).
But if I'm already getting stuff, might as well get more, right? So I went through the rest and ordered a few things. The expensive parts were actually not for me - a book a friend wanted, and a birthday gift I'll also send to that same friend. But I treated myself to some lucky bags, because like... there's always a lot of merch that I like but don't love enough to pay the premium on "I MUST HAVE THAT SPECIFIC THING." I figured if I got a random assortment, odds were high I'd be entirely happy with everything in that random assortment, and it'd be cheaper than picking out specific individual items.
That order arrived nice and quick, since it was all things that were already with Mel in Canada, and yeah I was right, I'm happy with my lucky bags. I got three - one for TGCF, one for 2ha, and one for "all priest excelt TYK/SHL" (mine ended up containing two Guardian things, a SPL thing, and a Mo Du thing, which is about perfect since the fourth fandom option was Lie Huo Jiao Chou, which I'm least familiar with of the four).
Since they arrived (several weeks ago) I've been, uh. Savoring? Because I'm super busy and don't have time to really enjoy but just. poking at the box for a few minutes every few days has really helped keep my mood up.
Today I stole a few minutes to really start going through things, though. So, here's my TGCF lucky bag! A cute Hualian key chain of Hua Cheng comforting Xie Lian, a pretty pin, an adorable Xie Lian wedding chibi standee, and that gorgeous soldier Hua Cheng/God Please Crown Prince Xie Lian art.
As expected, I am utterly satisfied with this purchase. I'm gonna add the key chain to my keys today (where it'll join the Hualian chibi key chains I bought from ShanGo last year), and I really need to finish the quilt I've been working on specifically as a place to hang pins so I can hang the pin.
Whenever I next feel like I can ask mom for a little money, it'll be this - https://koonbooks.com/products/global-examination-chinese-comic?_pos=2&_sid=a2e0144e2&_ss=r. Which has been on my list for months and was what I wanted next no matter what, but has definitely gained a lot more urgency since I started reading the book, lmao. Now I want it like air. Probably over the summer...
(I also just today got a shipping due notice from ShanGo? I have. no idea what it's for, oops. I thought my only outstanding order was the Yanshen plushies but my memory is shot idek. God, this makes it sound like I buy So Much Stuff I swear I don't. With what money would I???)

🌎🚲 Mid-year Reflection on my 2022 Reading Journey
🌃 tagged by @thecasualbookreviewer; It might be titled a little differently than what you tagged me in. A freak-out reminds me too much of cram and grind culture. I read for fun and enjoyment, not to tick the little boxes. As cliche as it is, it's all about the journey and not the destination. It's about the acquisition of brain worms of which I have farmed many this year.
📚Amount of books you’ve read so far
Please hold I need to actually go count because I haven't in awhile. I'm back it's 43.
📚Best book you’ve read so far in 2022
This is such a difficult question. There were so many good books that I read this year. I feel like I have favorites in different categories like this is an awards ceremony. fffs. Overall, I'm going to go with Scum Villain because it's been just a general good source of brain worms this year. The bees have ate well over that book. If you want to send me fake categories and ask based on that, always game. 📚Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2022
I mean. I've read concurrent sequels (books published in multiple volumes) but I don't count those. Because they're all one story told in multiple parts. As for Sequel sequels... I know absolutely nothing is going to top Husband Materials. Even though I haven't read it yet. LOL.
📚New release you haven’t read yet, but want to
I'd like to read I kissed Sarah Wheeler by Casey Mcquistion because it's her junior novel. I'd like to see how it differentiates between the two others before. I haven't gotten to the Fae Keeper duology yet and that's on my list really high. As well as like. Heaven Official's Blessing III which I haven't gotten around to because I'm not ready to hurt quite yet this week. 📚Most anticipated release for the second half of the year 2ha on my birthday. Bloodmarked by Tracy Deonn. Aiden Thomas (Cemetary boys) has a new duology starting in September. Golden Terrace in November. Husband Materials on Tuesday. uhhh. Mushroom II in late august even though my physical got delayed until September. So I'll have to get an ebook if I want to read it. So MANY. Glitterland's re-release in Jan. kdfdffkf 📚Favorite new author (debut or new to you)
well, this year it has really been Alexis Hall. My goal is to be done with all of his books by the end of 2022 so I can eagerly await the: *goes to his website to count* 6 books he's got scheduled for 2023?? man is prolific and I am jealous.
also I fell in love with S.A. Cosby in the same way as I did David Heska Wanbli Weidan this year. I believe DHWW has more books coming out soonish. Also excited for those. 📚Biggest surprise Little Mushroom still holds the biggest shocker for me this year. Because I AM SALTY ABOUT IT AND I WILL NOT BE SILENCED. 📚Book that made you happy
SVSSS, Dark Rise by C.S. Pacat, One Last Stop, A lady for a Duke, Pansies. These are all frequent brain worm topics on nights where my brain bees won't be quiet and let me sleep.
📚Newest fictional crush/newest favorite character:
aro ace here. I don't really do crushes. I just have a lot of fictional children. Newest fictional child is Luo Binghe and Xie Lian. As well as maybe Violet from Dark Rise. Luo Binghe: The protagonist who deserved none of his bullshit ever despite some of the horrible things he did. Did not deserve the absolute trashing the plot gave him in Volume 3.
Xie Lian: Local Tired Grandpa with a traumatic past just wants to collect his trash in peace, and both divine realms have decided he will not do that. More news at 11. Violet: Local mixed girl gets harassed by the plot. Absolutely doesn't deserve it. You will be hearing from my unethical treatment of fictional characters lawyer. this is a joke I swear to god.
📚Book that made you cry:
Honey Girl got me GOOD during Grace Porter's mental breakdown. Been there grace. Been there so hard girlie.
Most recently I was in HYSTERICS over This Way Out. Full on ugly inconsolable crying for like 10 minutes over. well. His family is conservative and Muslim, they reject his gay marriage. But what's worse is his fiancee's family is very white and doesn't understand the stigma and the culture. and they just. so neatly wrap up Amar's family into a judgemental little package. and he's just like. "nope they may be assholes but they are my family and they deserve respect because despite THEIR actions I still LOVE them because they are worthy of LOVE." and it just made me grapple with a lot of complicated feelings I have revolving around my own queerness and family issues. Just a very strong gut punch of complications.
📚Most beautiful book you’ve bought or received this year so far:
have you seen Heaven Official's Blessing's Cover art?? especially for volume three??? fdskfsdf or like. Pale Moon Reflected in the Water?? sdlkjff
📚Book you need to read by the end of the year: KD Edward's Tarot Sequence Books The rest of the Alexis Hall booksets. These are the only books that I am going to REQUIRE myself to finish. Otherwise I'm getting FUNKY with it. No rules.
tagging: free tag from me here. If you want a specific @ I will certainly edit you in.

A Birthday Yarn
Pairing: Hua Cheng/Xie Lian
Rated: General Audiences
Tags: Knitting, Fluff, Birthday, Flirting
Word Count: 1k
Summary:
As requested by Twitter user @rifflexielian, "a fic of hualian flirting by being awful at knitting in front of a group of concerned but supportive grannies" <3
———
Eventually, he gets bored. “Gege,” he says, drawing out the syllables and slumping onto his boyfriend’s shoulder. “Gege, show me how to purl? This useless one needs instruction from a knitting master.”
“San Lang,” Xie Lian laughs, but sets his own knitting down and reaches around Hua Cheng’s back to cover Hua Cheng’s hands with his own. “Okay, it goes like this -” and very slowly demonstrates a twisted knit stitch with a yarn over.
Hua Cheng glances at the granny on Xie Lian’s side. She shrugs. “I don’t know where he got that,” she mouths.

XL Week 2021 Day 3 (Very Late!)
Prompts - XLWeek2021 Twitter: "Fire; Fall", TGCF Mini-Bang Discord: "Crossover AU".
Crossover with SVSSS.
Just A Boy
Ever wonder how SVSSS happened differently from PIDW?
Why the System intervened in one world and not the other?
The answer is that in one world, Luo Binghe was born and raised to be a worshipper of The Flower-Crowned Martial God, and his husband; Crimson Rain Sought Flower.
Alternately:
Luo Binghe Falls; But He Isn't Alone.
He was just a boy
He was just a boy
With nowhere to go
With no scars on his soul
He was just a boy
He was just a boy

February Round-Up
I was going to post this last weekend, but then I figured that it would make more sense to wait until the end of the month because I missed three of the four weeks already. Oops?
All in all, February was a very productive month. I think I’ve got my insomnia to thank for that, because I was awake during what are apparently my peak writing hours. So, here goes.
Writing
My original monthly goal was 15k and I wrote over 21k, so yay! Then again, I really shouldn’t be surprised because there were several days that I was awake between 1am and 5am and was cranking out to 2-3k in that time period.
My main focus of the month was to finish my YOI Big Bang project, since submissions are due in March for that. I’m close, y’all! Close! 9k currently (it’s going to definitely be over my 10k estimation though...)
Soul’s Scream updates - Chapter 18 is at 5.5k right now, so progress! I also wrote a scene that’s currently 1.5k (and will probably end up a lot longer, because Gheyos!) for one of the Friday/Introduction day chapters, as well as a 4k scene that’ll take place at some point in the fic introducing Kai and some of Brishen’s backstory.
I wrote 3 fics for the YOI Olympics - Beijing 2022 event. I was going to write more, and I actually started a 4th fic, but then Olympic figure skating just became so emotionally draining. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t want to work on anything YOI related, unfortunately, which really sucks, because that fandom was what broke my 3-year writing hiatus and saved me during the pandemic and my last year of law school.
I also wrote 3 drabbles for the February Ficlet Challenge. I wanted to write more because there were some great prompts, I just didn’t have the right muse at the time. I might do some late additions for when muse does strike if I can.
Because my normal muse and WIP list isn’t enough, I signed up for the HP Next Gen Fest. 😅Super excited for the prompt though! Also considering joining another fest, but that’s currently TBD right now, since the prompts haven’t been released yet. Prompts are out in a few days, so I’ll know fairly soon.
Reading
I needed fluffy and I needed funny during this month, and luckily I found plenty of both. I think I’m officially a MXTX fan now as well, considering for three of the four books I read by her, I didn’t go to bed until 2 or 3am and for two of the three series, I promptly watched the animated series that same day or the following day (it would have been all three, but watching The Untamed and Mo Dao Zu Shi is what got me started down this path in the first place 😂).
Finished:
At First Bloom by Chera Carmichael
Call to Water by Chera Carmichael
Under the Water by Chera Carmichael
Mo Dao Zu Shi/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, Vol. 1 by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu
Tian Guan Ci Fu/Heaven Official’s Blessing, Vol. 1 by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu
Tian Guan Ci Fu/Heaven Official’s Blessing Vol. 2 by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu
Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong/The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu
(Also Idan and Minh are totally not loosely based on the personalities of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng or Lan Wanji and Wei Wuxian... 😅)
Other Projects
Here’s the long awaited photo of what I was working on in January! I got it done in time to qualify as a late Christmas/early birthday gift. Book colors of course, because I’d never live it down if I used movie colors, lol.
Tumblr media
It took a few weeks, but I’ve decided what my next big project is going to be and I took a trip to the craft store for yarn. Since this next project will be something for personal use, I can actually post progress photos. I’m five rows in currently and oh my stars, there’s so much yarn switching. I can’t tell if I’m weaving or crocheting half the time.
I’m proud to say that I also FINALLY bought a coffee table. It only took ... six months? 😅But I’m happy, because it means I can unpack a few more boxes, can use my lap desk for its actual purpose again, and my cats are happy because a) it gives them a new surface to explore/lay on and b) they’re no longer getting squirted by the spray bottle for climbing on the boxes I was using as a makeshift coffee table these past few months (one was a very determined little bugger when it came to doing that and it was a whole hour-long morning ritual for several weeks, which didn’t help the whole insomnia thing...). I also bought and built a bookcase this week, so my arms and wrists are currently hating me and my tendinitis is flaring up... Next on my list of furniture to get are a nest-couch and side tables. Might take another six months for me to get them though, lol.

Dianxia's birthday calculation💐
((spoilers!!)) (( → insta ))
So I had a realisation about dianxia's birthday
In this essay I will attempt to convince you that our dianxia had the worst birthday ever in the history of worst birthdays —ever™
As history lover, I'd like to point out first - that for ancient China, or really, any pre-modern countries, birthdays weren't celebrated the way we do today, annually. → For China, birthdays then were probably more focused on only the 1st, 10th, 60th and 70th. — So this probably isn't that tragic of a realisation from tgcf's characters' pov – but it would be to us (and perhaps hc) — Besides, they did have a Gilded Banquet for lqq's 17th so maybe royalties would care – and hence:
So, was just thinking about how Xie Lian's been passing his birthdays for all those 800 years..
I mean, for a prince like him, as a child there must have been grand feasts; then, at Mt Taicang in his training years, he still mustve received some regards or respects or gifts from his peers and family, congratulating him on his birthdays But after his 2nd banishment (post-Book 4), xl was by himself, alone. Nevermind not having any feasts or gifts, there was no one to wish him "happy birthday".
No Feng Xin, no Mu Qing, no father, no mother.
And from then, for eight hundred years, he probably didn't and couldn't do anything for his birthdays (for himself). Just busy collecting scraps, alone, like any other day.
Then, what about his 1st banishment? (during book 4) When fx, mq, and his parents were still with him?
xl was banished "a few months" before winter (winter began when he first tried robbing)
When he ascended the 2nd time, it was still winter too.
→ So, with his birthday in summer, xl didn't celebrate a birthday during those last months when he still had fx, mq and his parents. So whew.
→ but that also means: the first birthday he passes without his kingdom, the first birthday he passes since XianLe fell from his mistakes, was during his 2nd banishment (post-book 4) — a time when everyone (including wuming) had all left him, when xl had become truly alone.
The first time spending his birthday in a world without his parents, without fx and/or mq beside him, without a XianLe. Maybe that one day, for just that once, the nagging awareness that he was alone finally crept up to him. That all that was once there with him on his birthdays - were gone now. And each absence was because of him too.
. . .
↑ After XianLe fell
Now, that was about the first birthday he has after XianLe fell.
What about the last birthday he had before XianLe fell?
→ It would've happened before his 1st banishment, during the ending phases of Yong'an's rebellion — but I'm going to narrow it down. And dare I deduce, xl likely had a birthday happening during the worsts of the chaos:
→ Before XianLe fell:
So, xl's 1st banishment was "a few months" before winter. Say 'a few' means 3~4. China's winter begins Nov~Dec. = "a few months" before = Aug~Sept
XL was banished in Aug~Sept
Still not July 15. So, what was happening much earlier during summer, before his banishment? — the pagoda collapsing, and then thereafter, there were still those battles xl joined, shaking in fear and unable to fight well
Though the time between [pagoda falling] and [banishment] is not specified, those battles that he joined in between those events likely meant several days~some weeks. (( 'several' being 7~8 and 'some' being 4~6, aight?))
So [Aug~Sept banishment] - [some weeks] = end-July ~ mid-Aug
Pagoda collapsed between end-July / mid-Aug
Now, adding that xl held up that pagoda for several days, it means there are two conclusions:
The pagoda dropped around end-July → xl passed his birthday around/within the days he held that building under the hot scorching sun
The pagoda dropped mid-Aug, aka xl started holding it up around start-Aug → his birthday, July 15, was not spent during this pagoda-holding time. So whew. . . . But, July 15 being 'half a month' before, around 'half a month' before was also when the disease started.
And tbh, I'm more inclined to believe (1); because if we went even more specific (aka overanalysing), through the novel's diction, we get this detail:
Throughout Book 2, "in his twenty years of life" was used a lot, describing xl's age.
After the pagoda fell, however, on the battlefield, he was described as "barely past twenty", so you could say he's turned 21 by then, perhaps even newly turned 21 ( and ofc, he did pass his 21st bday at most before the pagoda fell )
So, when was the last time xl was just "twenty"? — —that one day when he, for the first time ever, was stabbed on a battlefield (by Lang Ying); when he cut off that man's leg; and that same day when he started holding up the pagoda.
An awful day brimmed with misfortunes.
So, possibly, in between that [awful day] —then through the days he held up that pagoda, passing out under the hot sun, including the day he cried out his little "save me"— and finally [the pagoda falling and xl thereafter suffocatingly fighting on the battlefield with evergrowing fear of failure],
xl passed a birthday on one of these days.
:D
Worst Birthday Ever Crown 👑 !
There were quite a few other clues too; like when his parents came meeting him with torn looks as he was holding up the pagoda — perhaps one of those visiting days was xl's birthday
xl was turning 21 but all he wanted to do was turn back into a 10-year-old child and cry
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One last thought:
what if: that last day —before the patients swarmed xl, before he couldn't hold the up pagoda anymore— he received a white flower, didn't he?
Was that day xl's 21st birthday...?
hua hua's first birthday present to xl...?
if so, then now, 800 years later and reuniting, hc's finally giving his dianxia flowers for his birthday again.
Tumblr media
an upgrade 💐

So I’m reading TGCF... (part 4)
Welcome to the 4th part of my TGCF readthrough. I’ve just finished the first book, and let me tell you, this is the cruelest ending ever! So naturally, I had to continue my lovely suffering with the second book... (If you can’t tell, I really love this story:D) Warning: SPOILERS!  Stick around if you have already read TGCF from chapter 58 to chapter 74
Chapter 58
(We’re back in the past at the Shangyuan Festival. The crown prince is late but he plays the part of the God-Pleasing Martial Warrior, so the Guoshi is very angry. Mu Qing who plays the ghost reports that Xie Lian promised to be there on time and they should just start the show. So they do. The crown prince arrives and everything goes according to plan, but a small child falls from the city wall, and Xie Lian abandons the play and his mask to save him) - FCUK! You’re joking, right?! We’re reminiscing?! Right now?! No way! Please, no! Why now? After that awful cliff-hanger?! This is torture! - Not like I wouldn’t be interested in the backstory, but still... - FUCK! Let me cry in the corner for a short minute or hour or day..... T.T - ‘K, I’m done. - No, I’m not! *goes back to the corner to cry* T.T - This amount of praise must put a lot of pressure on someone. I’d break under the weight. Like you constantly have to live up to the expectations. And the expectations are sky-high. - Nice catch!:D
Chapter 59
(Not only does he lose his mask, the parade circles the city three times, which only guarantees three years of peace for the country, so the Guoshi is not happy. But it turns out, that the crown prince did send a message about why he will be late, but the Guoshi was busy playing cards and his subordinates hate Mu Qing thus they didn’t let him through. The kid he saved is kind of weird, but they let him go) - Xie Lian is very spoiled. He’s a nice and naive prince who’s completely detached from reality. - I love these three together. They are fun:D Xie Lian is fun. He’s too carefree and definitely spoiled but fun:)
Chapter 60
(The bad omens keep piling up. The kid dirtied Xie Lian’s clothes and he also lost one of his earrings during the performance. Feng Xin and Mu Qing get into an argument. Mu Qing thinks the other one is accusing him of stealing and storms off. Xie Lian tells Feng Xin about how he got to know Mu Qing.) - So he was supposed to be looking fluid in gender as a god? I love this idea. And it somehow suits Xie Lian, as well:D - Also he pierced his ears just for the performance:) - ‘He really didn’t bring a lot with him. Only two carriages full of books, and two hundred treasured swords.’ Pft... yeah, that’s not much AT ALL.
Chapter 61-64
(They go after Mu Qing and see him being bullied. Xie Lian not only helps him out but invites him to keep him company while visiting the palace. In the palace, we realize that although he loves his mom, his not on great terms with his father. Qi Rong is also a little troublemaker. He got a carriage for his birthday and he almost trampled pedestrians but doesn’t even care about it. The crown prince demands his mother to confiscate the cart. Qi Rong throws a fit and almost charges at Mu Qing. Then later when Xie Lian offers to visit Mu Qing’s mom, they see Qi Rong dragging a human body behind his carriage. The boys stop him and Xie Lian finds out, he captured the kid he rescued and whom his cousin blames for the misfortune of the Shangyuan Festival. While Qi Rong tries to attack the kid, Feng Xin breaks his hand)   - Mu Qing is being bullied. I start to understand where his complexes are coming from. - How can the crown prince casually stroll around in the slums? Does no one want to capture him? Does no one recognize him? Does no one want to steal from him? - Qi Rong was also disgusting as a human. - Poor kid! His name is Hong, that’s cute. :) Hong Hong-er:D - When did this happen? When did I get to the 64th chapter? These chapters went by so fast.
Chapter 65
(They take the kid back to the palace, he’s called Hong and is 10 years old. The king, however, demands Feng Xin to be punished for raising his hand on a member of the royal family. So Feng Xin has to break his on hand as an atonement) - Oh, the unimaginable hardships of a prince... (He definitely has an incredibly easy life, tbh) - Uh... Feng Xin’s hand is broken. Poor angry boy.
Chapter 66
(They head back to Mount Taicang, but the crowd circles them. Instead of blaming him for what happened at the festival, the people are cheering for Xie Lian. He feels he did the right thing saving the kid. So when the Guoshi says otherwise...) - Say what?! So he either kneels before the wall and prays, or the child should lose one of his senses? Why? This makes absolutely zero sense. Chapter 67
(... he cannot accept any penalty and cannot let them punish the kid either. But suddenly, as he is being lectured, all the evil ghosts they kept imprisoned get out and start to circle the kid. The Guoshi says that the kid carries bad luck and no one should touch him, but Xie Lian still holds him and comforts him.) - It’s not your fault, baby Hong, don”t cry! Poor kid! I really can’t. - Sry I don’t know what to write. These chapters are not funny, and you can feel that misery is coming.
Chapter 68
(Xie Lian cannot accept that the kid was born to be unlucky and the Guoshi tries to lecture him again. But he’s stubborn and is willing to oppose even the heavens if he knows, he’s right. The Guoshi feels the crown prince needs more worldly experience, so he lets him descend the mountain to go on an adventure. The kid escapes that night, and not much later Xie Lian ascends) - Yeah, that master is saying something... Xie Lian is very compassionate and lovely and good-natured and stubborn, but also incredibly naive and wants to shoulder everything on his own. This road leads to tragedy.
Chapter 69-70
(Three years later they are building the 8000th golden statue of the crown prince. Qi Rong also visits the shrine and offers prayers, but on the way out, he sees an unkempt man who wants to get to the royal palace then tries to fish out some golden coins of the shrine from the lake. He beats him. Xie Lian interferes; he pushes down his own statue, which is a very bad omen. The man is from Yong’An, the area is suffering from drought and he came for help from the king. He carries the body of his dead child on his back. Xie Lian helps him to burry the child) - I love how the tragedy of a nation is shown through the tragedy of one man. It is shocking and touching and just goes to show how much of a dick Qi Rong truly is. - I finally understand how the conflict between Yong’An and Xianle broke out. - But I also refuse to believe that there were no solutions whatsoever. I mean I get it, it’s hard, but the solution the king chose is definitely not the best one.
Chapter 71
(Xie Lian doesn’t know how to help. The Guoshi warns him that he is a god, not a crown prince, mortal matters shouldn’t concern him anymore. He also mentions that he believes Xie Lian ascended too soon. Since his bloodline is still alive he can’t help but to be concerned and that is going to bring bad luck on him and the kingdom, as well) - Why don’t you just ask some elemental god to help out. Aren’t you like... all in the god club? If you can’t help, somebody else can!  - Aaaand thank God he also realized this. At least the idea is there.
Chapter 72-73
(Xie Lian tries to collect information disguised as an ordinary human when it starts to pour down. He is mesmerized by the rain but hides in a small shrine that happens to be built for him. A small kid is a regular at that shrine. He changes the flower in the hand of the statue every day. Xie Lian becomes invisible and listens to the child’s prayer. The child asks him what should he live for. And he answers: Live for me. This child happens to be the same child he saved years ago.) - Small Hong is really cute~ - And Xie Lian is really stupid. I understand him and his desperation, but he is too young. His head is full of ideas. His childish. But he tries his best:( I feel for him.
Chapter 74
(As it turns out Xie Lian didn’t have the time to make friends with the other gods yet due to his fast ascension, so no one is willing to help him. He visits the Rain Master, who is not very nice, but he lends him his godly device. However, all this takes too long and a week passes) - Lord Rain Master seems like a dick, too. There are many dicks in this story.
