PENTAGON: First Impressions VS Now!

since it's ptg's 3rd anniversary, and i've been an uni for over a year now, i thought it would be a fun idea to compare my first thoughts about all the members to how i think of them now! i got the idea from i got7 inspirits on youtube, so check them out if you're interested!

then:

I first heard "gorilla" back when it released, but since i avoided stanning rookies at the time- i decided to give it some time before stanning. flash foward to august 2018 where my interest is piqued again. at that time last year, i had thought that they were pretty cute but having literally only heard gorilla and then shine, i was caught off guard by their sound change. It wasn't bad per say- just different. overall, i knew pentagon would be a group that i'd like- but more along the lines of a casual thing.

now:

y'all already know how whipped i am for these idiots!!! their music and videos and even choreos are my style completely, especially their cute concepts!! we love dancing infants! and also, they're all such throughly good people which makes me so happy. this isn't a casual stan thing in the slightest, and it's funny to think I ever believed it would be.

Hui:

then:

when i saw him in shine, i thought he was a d o r k. i think it was the way they styled his hair, but i was just very convinced that he was pretty lame lmao. after that though, i saw how cute he was and he became my bias for a while. i remember thinking at one point that he seemed like an exasperated dad?? i didn't really have any basis for it but that observation was there nonetheless.

now:

exasperated dad? more like hyper 3 year old. hes literally one of the loudest and most energetic. what was i on. but i think hes the most precious and clingiest little toddler now!! i was right about the dork thing though, but its super cute how goofy and lame he is. also!! talent for days!! his dancing, singing (his falsetto is !!), composing is all incredible. the most important thing though? a godly leader. he's so caring and kind and full of love for his members it hurts me. we don't really see a serious leader hui, but thats okay because i think it means he tries to keep uni and ptg in good spirits by showing them cheerfulness. and that's amazing to me.

Jinho:

then:

my most notable thought about jinho in shine was "how is he that small". i remember thinking it was cute how he pushed the giant one too, lmao. i didn't think much else of him beyond that, other than noticing how adorable he can be.

now:

ok yeah, jinho is cute and tiny and whatever- but now i Understand the power that he holds. how he looks with his hair pushed back for example. or how about that bruno mars cover he did with hui. (hhhhnngg). also?? he's not even That small. the ones that make him look itty bitty are Literally just giants. but aside from his appearance, jinho is probably my favorite vocalist like!! i appreciate him s o much. (listen to his cover of gethsemane and last night of october for clear skin) of course jinho is also very cute though!! so i was right about that at least! he just also has many other great sides to him that i worry are overlooked!

Hongseok:

then:

i didn't,,,notice him. at ALL. like i just glossed over his existence completely when i first saw shine. and even after that- it took me a minute to pay him any mind. when i did finally notice him though, i noticed his smile. i remember i was watching videos with my girlfriend and i pointed him out to her! that was mostly because i felt bad for not really having any strong opinion on him though oops. anyways i ended up just thinking he was a mom. and i was really impressed by his english and strength.

now:

real talk, it pained me to write all of that out!! bc now?? omg hong is my everything- but thats kind of obvious. anyways!! hes so f u nn y !!! its absolutely a stupid kind of funny and hes definitely annoying but i adore it. also the mom thing is only kind of true. he has the capacity to be maternal and take care of them, but he's way more likely to make fun of literally every single member. he's more like an older brother that never leaves his siblings alone and thinks he's funnier than he is. and we hate him for it. anyways, his voice is So underrated im. angery. he has such a beautiful voice, just in general, and on top of that- his singing is lovely. like yes, more hong solo please.

Hyojong:

then:

i definitely took note of him immediately! his voice is very distinctive, and he stands out a lot in shine. which is really saying something. i thought he was really talented for sure! and i almost felt he was too cool for me to be looking at. i kind of got the vibe he'd be pretty icy i guess?

now:

he's not intimidating at all. like not even a little bit. bc he's not taking himself as seriously as i thought he was lmao. also hes so l o u d . and a plant man. but i think the best thing about edawn is his unpredictability! i never really know what to expect from him and i like that.

Shinwon:

then:

i thought he was HOT. i already thought he was handsome in the 0.3 seconds of screentime he got in shine. but a friend of mine showed me clips of him from that couples game video and. o o f. i really couldn't get over how pretty he was. it didn't help that this was the same video where him and kino were doing that dance. personality wise, i don't remember much standing out to me. other than how easily scared he is.

now:

shinwon is soooo embarrassing. i wouldn't say hes completely shameless about it though, but he's shameless to the point of actually doing the stupid shit so im. still enraged about it. he legitimately makes me physically look away sometimes when im watching a video and he's being weird. theyre all my kids, and i love them. but he's the child im ashamed of lmao. moving on, hes a real cutie pie. that fact that he gets so scared so easily is both really funny and super endearing. but he's just a playful baby and im honestly glad that hes has so much fun.

Changgu:

then:

i noticed him less than hongseok. like i dont think i had a single notable first impression of him.

now:

past dess was one entire Doofus huh. like changgu is a whole ass blessing to this planet and you mean to tell me that she overlooked him??!! anyways, though, he has an elephant heart for sure. such a genuinely empathetic and truly kind person!! he never fails to warm my heart with his sincerity and i love that about him. he's also part of the idiot squad though, with how he goes along with hong's antics. we hate that. and all his impressions + dumb faces. speaking of faces though,,, his acting?? i love it!! he's really talented, like when i watch pretty pretty i kind of forget that changgu is even playing a role. and his d a n c i n g!! underrated dance king! underrated king in general, how about that.

Yanan:

then:

my first bias in ptg!!! i fell in love with him instantly! i loved how tall he is, and the white hair and his i c o n i c "my baby"!! like i was whipped from the gate. i remember liking his duality back then too!!

now:

ok so, since he was bias immediately, i noticed more about him than anyone else. which means i have less to write oops. but thats okay because at least i had a bit of taste back then. but, yanan is hilarious. he's so clever and funny and you can tell how effortless it is. most iconic ptg sayings are something from yanan and thats just amazing. the big thing i notice now that i didn't really before, though, is that fact that his duality is so shocking because he's literally just as unpredictable as hyojong. its impossible to really tell what hes going to do next, and i think it catches people off guard more with yanan because even that aspect of him is unexpected.

Yuto:

then:

i thought he was kinda scary!! idk he seemed so cold and i couldn't really relate to that so i didn't grow very attached to him.

now:

he's so pure!!! hes said that he has a hard time expressing his feelings but i don't really see it? because he always seems so happy to be around ptg and having fun with them even if he isn't usually the one playing around!! he loves them so much tbh and its the sweetest thing :( everything about yuto is so sweet, because he cares a lot about the people around him and doesn't want anyone to get hurt- even if its fake or a joke. and like, he's really hardworking too!! ptg have said multiple times that he works the hardest, and that really is saying something imo! and like, you can just see it even without being told that. whether its his workout journey pentory or the fact that he's literally been learning guitar. also!! omg the lyrics he writes?? heartwarming, romantic and life changing!! seasons and cosmo made me a different person. but yeah, he's such an amazing, warm person and i cant believe i found him scary.

Kino:

then:

i thought he was the main vocal. like no joke, he was so charismatic and flaunting so much in shine that i was like "ah yes. the main vocalist" hhhggg. i remember thinking he was pretty though, and that his stage name was super cute. but i wasn't very interested in learning about him, despite how he really caught my eye. for some reason, though, i eventually got the thought that he was really pure.

now:

main vocal hdzfhh kino relax you're confusing ppl. of course he has an amazing voice and it always sounds incredible but!! what amuses me is the way he sings always sounds kinda like he's trying to be sexy and?? its so funny in ballads and stuff imo. but yeah, that "sensual"?? singing is what threw me off back then. buf more importantly, i just wanna mention the pure thing- because its a confusing situation. on one hand, kino has a heart of gold that not only adores uni but is also accepting. as well as how he's constantly bringing light into the world with his words and truly bright outlook. but on the other hand he's a demon that dances like That and is so dangerous when he wants to be!! so!! what's it gonna be kino, make up your mind :( anyways, listen to knnovations. esp bad timing and 224.12!!

Wooseok:

then:

i loved him instantly. he looked like an overgrown 10 year old in my eyes and that's just. precious. i thought he was pretty funny too!!

now:

if i took off my hong glasses for long enough, id be able to say that i think he's the funniest in ptg. because he's so hilarious in my eyes like? he makes me do an ugly wheeze laugh, and a lot of my favorite ptg moments involve him in some way lmao. but he is actually a baby, so i was onto something there with the overgrown 10 y/o thing. despite being really funny though, i do think he tends to be quiet more often than like hui or shinwon and he hardly ever smiles, unless he's like laughing and thats makes me think that he's kind of awkward?? not in like a bad way, but i just kind of see that i guess. but!! something that i think is passed over a lot with woo is the fact that he usually has a hand in composing, and also that he writes his raps?? like that's so cool, we love that!!

ok! so that was my lame little essay lmao. i hoped you liked if you read it all! im just glad to say that i really appreciate pentagon as a whole, and how much joy they bring into my life nowadays!! i feel like ive found a place to call my own with uni and with pentagon :)

Universe Challenge Day 10: Pentaversary

Dear Pentagon,

I probably should have made a graphic or something but instead I'm doing a sappy letter a day late. Most of my followers kind of know my pentagon story but if I ever meet you guys (again) I want you to know how much you've made an impact on my life. I first found out about PTG because of 365 So Fresh. Everyone was saying the MV was "so controversial". 365 So Fresh was amazing and I found out about Hui and Edawn whom I fell in love with instantly. When I googled Triple H (which as you can imagine is weird for a WWE fan like myself) I found that Hui and Dawnie were part of PTG. Not long after I found Shine and I can't remember how exactly but I think it might have been randomly recommended in YouTube. When I watched it I thought the song was absolutely amazing and it instantly became one of my fave songs. I was watching it over and over and showing my friends, and just screaming my head off because I loved it so much. 2018 was the year I got to go to my first KCON in New York and you guys were preforming there. That year had one of the best line ups but I swear at least once or twice an hour they were playing Shine, which made me happy. The people I went with weren't the greatest but hearing Shine all the time made me have fun. I even went to a dance workshop to try and learn the chorus dance. Then the concert came and I had never been so excited to hear a song be played live so much in my life. It was the first song you guys did and I have so many videos of me screaming while singing. After KCON I spent the next few days learning who everyone was, watching Pentagon Maker, and binge watching all of the MV's. I quickly grew to love all ten of you so much and you guys were becoming one of my fave groups quickly.

I didn't get to enjoy tentagon that much though as that August after, Edawn was kicked out. Edawn was my bias and I loved him a lot. Like so so so much (I still do btw). He was always so weird and screechy but also was affectionate and cute towards the other members. Everyone compared him to GD but I felt like Dawnie was just...Dawnie. He wasn't anyone else but himself. And hes great at what he does, be it rapping, producing, or dancing. I remember when the rumors were floating around, I just had hope that nothing would go wrong. When it was finalized and I found out that Dawnie had been kicked out I cried. I remember the day exactly. I had to get up early for a dentist appointment. My friend had sent me the article on Facebook and the tears were instant. I cried for so long and my entire heart hurt. I even called my mom to tell her how upset I was and though she didn't understand completely, she knows how important kpop is to me so she tried to comfort me as best as she could. Tentagon will always remind me of the happy times I had at KCON, about the new friends I made on Tumblr, and about helping me reignite my passion for writing and improving myself.

Thumbs up was a hard comeback for me. I didn't like anything about it at all; the styling, the theme, Paul jack, nothing. Though I'm still proud of you guys for barreling through such difficult times to put out a comeback it just made me sad. I know Dawnie wanted you guys to continue being successful but it hurt to see tentagon disbanded (but not forgotten). I always thought about Dawnie and Hui because they were so close. I would always picture Hui crying over Dawnie having to leave, move out, and maybe feeling guilty because I'm certain he knew they were dating. But Hui is a great friend and I know that he's happy for them and Dawnie is happy for all his brothers as well.

It used to hurt hearing 'Tentastic' but now it's a sweet reminder that tentagon will be forever.

Fast forward a bit and you guys announced your first world tour! I knew instantly that I wanted to go and see you perform again! I got VIP and hi touch because I couldn't live without seeing you guys up close (ok, Im being dramatic but you get the picture). I was so excited that I literally almost threw up 4 times. I didn't even know that you could throw up from excitement. I also got my very first lightstick. I don't normally like lightsticks but I felt like I definitely needed a pentagon one. The concert was so amazing and I cried so many times; seeing yuto smile, dying because the havana performance was so sexy, uptown funk being so fun, shinwon and hui's English getting better, Yeo one waving at me, and of course seeing my bias Hognseok being perfectly beautiful. It was easily in one of my top 5 favorite concerts. I was nervous to do hi touch, especially because it went by so fast. I will forever remember looking at Kino and telling him how beautiful he was (is). And him telling me thank you was like...I don't know. I fangirled a lot ok? Lol. And hongseoks smile was....😭😭😭

After that I think I finally admitted that PTG is my ult group. Through everything that we've gone through as universes and you guys as a group, we've come out stronger than ever.

I love Hui for always crying and trying your best and being such a sweet leader

I love yuto for how shy you are but so very affectionate around your brothers and how you tried very hard to be an idol so far from home. (And also that voice♥️)

I love wooseok for always screeching and being that one weird brother I never had

I love kino for your creativity and dance (and being ridiculously good looking) and giving me the best memory from the Pentagon cocnert.

I love jinho for being so sassy and as angry and short as I am. I thank you for all the hard work you put into Magazine Ho's and how beautiful they always sound.

I love yanan for trying your best and having such a sweet voice. Youre still confused on how to navigate through Korea but you have great friends to help you. Also king of shade.

I love shinwon for literally NEVER failing to make me laugh. I love you like I love mcnuggets (which is a lot).

I love Yeo one for always being so sweet and bubbly and having the cutest laugh. Your birthday celebration vlive will always be my favorite because everyone was having so much fun and being so goofy and it was all for you.

I love hongseok because you always brighten up my day. youre so gorgeous in more ways than one. Your a giant marvel nerd and it's so cute how much you love Ironman, I love that you like reading and have lots of passion. You're also a giant dork with a heart of gold.

And I love dawnie and will always love dawnie. I love how weird you are, that :] face you always make, how you were never afraid of skinship, how you always held hands, kissed, and hugged everyone, how positive you always seemed to be and how freaking talented you are at everything. (Please propose to hyuna already my god we've been waiting for like a year now).

Happy three years Pentagon! I can't wait for many more to come. And happy (over) 1 year of being a universe to me!

Keep as a friend: kino, i 100% think that he would be the greatest friend ever. he is so soft and sensitive, caring and sweet. he has such a big heart. he’s also a lot of fun and is very supportive. i relate to him a lot, especially in terms of sensitivity (i think i’m the most like him out of all the members of ptg tbh). i feel like kino puts in so much love and energy into his relationship with every single person, and being friends with him would never fail to make you feel loved. long story short i really really wanna be kino’s friend, not only for all of the above, but also to get to be one of the people who remind him that he’s loved and treasured sooo much

Hit a lot: mmm…i don’t think any of them, altho i’d probably give the holy trinity of shinwon, wooseok, and yuto a good smack on the arm every once in a while lmao (friendly reminder that yuto often smacks people whenever he finds something funny and its so dorky and soft itsfineimfine)

united cube concert (180616) ♡ (source / translation)

beginning

there was a vcr with all cube artists chasing after a gigantic shining cube that connects them all together. the shining cube was calling them to unite and perform together during united cube concert.

all cube artists entered the stage individually, starting with hyuna. they performed short snippets of their recent songs and greeted the fans.

all cube artists performed a song called ‘young & one’. it’s rather fast paced and trendy and captures cube’s energetic and youthful charms. (eunbin raps, ilhoon sings, everybody gets lines)

idle

idle performed ‘latata’ and ‘maze’.

idle said they are very grateful for the fans that have been supporting them since the first day. thanks to them they were able to get their first win so early after debut and their song is doing unexpectedly well on charts and music shows.

idle performed a cover of david guetta’s ‘light my body up’.

seonho did the rap part in ‘light my body up’.

‘light my body up’ choreography includes seonho’s and guanlin’s iconic dance routine from the produce 101 audition. it’s so funny.

seonho

seonho performed ‘maybe spring’ and ‘a blue star’.

eunkwang performed a cover of ‘brother’ to seonho and seonho performed a cover of ‘don’t worry’ to eunkwang.

eunkwang tried to piggyback seonho but fell on the groupd. seonho dediced to piggyback eunkwang instead.

clc

clc performed ‘i like it’ (remix ver.), ‘hobgoblin’ and ‘meow meow’.

clc performed ‘black dress’ and seungyeon has a new dance break.

clc performed ‘black dress’ together with pentagon.

pentagon

hui said pentagon are honoured to perform with their sunbaes and clc looked really embarrassed. nobody really calls them sunbaes. like ever.

hui and sorn performed a short version of ‘좋니/좋아’.

pentagon performed ‘like this’.

kino performed his solo dance break from kcon australia.

pentagon performed ‘gorilla’ and ‘can you feel it’.

hui asked the fans if pentagon are amazing and handsome and when the fans yelled ‘YESSSS’ jinho was like ‘stop asking weird questions’.

they played ‘shine’ and pentagon were all very confused so they started running around. then ‘shine’ stopped playing and they got even more confused. but then they played the song again and hell broke loose.

pentagon said to stop playing ‘shine’ or else wooseok might die.

hui said he started recording songs with a certain ‘someone’.

yeo one said ‘i wonder when the next album is coming out’ and pentagon confirmed pentagon are coming back very soon.

universe fanclub ceremony to be held on august 12th.

pentagon performed ‘spectacular’.

pentagon performed ‘shine’ together with jo kwon.

there was a short snippet of ‘shine’ acoustic version.

jo kwon

jo kwon said many people might be wondering what the hell is he doing at the cube concert because his connection with his former agency is really strong. so he decided to introduce himself and said he’s the new staff member at cube!

jo kwon performed ‘lonely’.

jo kwon performed 2PM’s ‘can’t let you go even if i die’.

jo kwon performed ‘this song’.

kino, sungjae and sonho sang ‘this song’ backstage.

hui and seungyeon joined jo kwon’ during ‘this song’. the whole audience is singing so loudly it turned into jo kwon’s solo concert.

joint stage

hui and seungyeon came forward as representatives of pentagon and clc. hui did his iconic cute dance and taught seungyeon how to do it.

hui said ‘latata’ made a great impression on him. he also said seonho is really cute and he likes watching him perform.

hui said eunkwang takes great care of all his hoobaes. he said eunkwang is a great hyung to him.

hui said seonho is a pentagon member.

hui: cube are really rich..... rich with talents.

vocal stage

all vocalists performed ‘follow your dreams together. eunkwang held hongseok’s hand and synchronized with him. hyunsik synchronized with kino.

sungjae: this song is called ‘toes’. hyunsik composed it. everybody laughed and corrected him saying the song is called ‘one step’ (another name for ‘follow your dreams’).

seunghee: i’m not gonna lie. this song made me cry.

shinwon said he has loved 2AM’s ‘죽어도못보내’ ever since he was still at school. he even sang a short part of it.

btob

shuhua and seonho are the MCs for btob’s part.

btob performed ‘movie’.

changsub thanked all fandoms (melodies, universes, a-ings etc.) for coming. eunkwang reminded him that jo kwon also has fans here and changsub said he’s gonna get down on his knees and ask jo kwon for mercy in his room after the concert.

ilhoon is greeting everyone. he acts like a manager.

btob performed ‘it’s okay’. the crowd is very loud.

ilhoon hugged eunkwang to show how close they are.

btob performed ‘blowin up’.

pentagon and seonho joined the ‘blowing up’ stage.

jinho did the high notes with eunkwang.

seonho did the ‘jjijiri jiijiri’ dance.

hyuna

lip & hip (remix ver.)

hyuna: i feel like this cube concert is a great experience. before this i went on many tours (hong kong, north america etc.) but it’s my first time having so many fans and different artists here in one place.

hyuna performed ‘babe’.

ilhoon joined hyuna during ‘roll deep’. he’s wearing a jacket with nothing underneath it. they’re dancing really passionately.

unit stages

hui and edawn had a popping dance stage.

shuhua, yujin, soojin, seungyeon and eunbin all danced in snow white outfits. yujin was the center.

kino had a solo stage in a prince charming outfit.

kino and seungyeon danced together.

yuto isn’t wearing a shirt????? he’s topless??????

yes, yuto is topless and huidawn are being dorks behind him.

PENTAGON AS MY CLASSMATES

NOTICE : i go to a nerds school in a girl class so things may be different for you. everyone is smart but me rip lmao

JINHO the shortie of the class. He'll always complain about his height and age. "Stop portrayiNG ME AS OLD". Jinho cannot function without his coffee and will beg you to accompany him to get some coffee on days where he had missed his bus and couldn't get coffee in the morning. He tries hard to find his aesthetic and you'll always catch him philosophizing about the whole universe. The best at physics tbh.

HWITAEK the class president. Does all the work, but does it fast and organized. Everyone likes him. He's really popular but also funny and everything. He listens to what the class has to say and confronts the teachers. He'll ALWAYS try to make the atmosphere in the class the most comfortable. BUT he's the number one when it comes to gossip. You'll catch him gossip with Wooseok about Hyojong.

HONGSEOK The all rounder. HOnestLY he's so smart ! ! He exceeds in PE, languages and he's not bad at math it's unbelievable. The thing is, he doesn't look like that. On the outside, he's just that kid who tells lame jokes and ls the only one laughing at them. You would think he's only a dork but that changes when you see his grades. He dresses with showing lots of skin but boy owns it tbh. Keep staring at his biceps, he knows you are doing it anyway and everyone else too.

SHINWON LMAo shinwon is me. (my friend said so ok). He's loud, funny and he knows it. He's an internet child and aspires to be a meme. He's stylish but chooses comfort over fashion but somehow it looks great?? He's allergic to fruits, nuts and carrots and has hayfever (+probably lactose intolerant rip). He'll be doodling during lessons and everyone thinks he's not paying attention buT HE IS. That's hiM LISTENING oKAY. He's the best at English bc he spends way too much time on the internet.

CHANGGU HE'S YOUR NUMBER ONE HYPEMAN. He's kinda quiet but he will not hesitate to hype you tf out. Tho, when he's with friends he turns into the actual dork he is. He's reaLLY GOOD AT SPORTS. He's such a cutie tbh??? But he's friends with Wooseok, Hwitaek and they're really loud sigh. Is in a relationship. Everyone loves him ! ! !

YANAN he's kinda invisible buT HE'S SO BEAUTIFUL. Like wow you'll catch yourself staring at his face bc its ? Flawless ? He's so smart actually tbh everytime he answers a question in math you're confused asf. He's so cute but he never talks :-(. He's funny w/o even trying and probably judges everyone tbh. He dresses really well and laughs quietly along when someone jokes but he's probably planning how to murder everyone quietly.

HYUNGGU He's the kindest in the class probably. He'll always share his food with everyone. He's also a morning person so expect some happy dances at 7.45 while Changgu probably wants to punch him. Every teacher loves him because he spreads positive vibes everywhere he goes. His best subject is probably lit and language. He's also so beautiful it isn't fair. The best conversations you'll have with him are in the bathroom for some reason.

YUTO The quiet kid. He laughs and talks a lot according to his friends but ? It's ? A ? Miracle ? If ? He ? Says ? Something? When he raised his hand and answered a question for the first time, you flinched because you didn't expect his voice to be tHAT deep + he rarely talks. He's probably really good at biology and geography tbh. It's kinda annoying though. He's always the kid that gets the good grades and gets their homework done but when you text him for help he never replies.

WOOSEOK The other meme child. He dabs after every question he answers correctly. He'd be quiet at first but after some weeks in, you'll see him do the backpack dance and sing gucci gang in the background during your 10 minutes breaks. He's really good at Chemistry for some reason and gets praised for it a lot while you don't even know why salt disolves in water. OK BUT DICK JOKES. EVERYWHERE. During lit, he keeps telling them and you'll laugh for way too long.

“Open up, would you?”

“Open, open, open.”

I let out a deep sigh as I look up at the bottom of the top bunk. Constant banging and yelling come from my door, demanding I let them in.

“Come on, you can’t sleep all day!”

“We know you can hear us!”

“You can’t resist us!”

“I’m actually going to punch all of them,” I grunt, sighing into my pillow before getting up with it in my left arm. As I open the door, I stare blankly at the very amused and giggling boys at my door. “What could you possibly want?”

“We wanted to say hi to our very cheerful friend. Can we not do that?” They tease and I blink a few times before slamming my door shut. “I WAS KIDDING, COME ON.”

“It’s too early for you to be bothering me.”

“It’s time for classes!”

“It’s the weekend, nice try. Now, leave me alone.”

“Will you open for me?” Yuto asks, knocking. I bite my lip, thinking about it before opening the door again to reveal my ten best friends. I pull him in, leaving the remaining nine outside to complain. He chuckles. “Hi.”

“Hi,” I sigh, running a hand down my face. His smile turns into worry as he wraps his arms around me. He tilts my chin up and takes a closer look at my face.

“What’s wrong? You’re more tired it seems like.”

“Ah, I just stayed up a little longer last night to work on strategies, the regimens and went over my notes for the other teams,” I say and he frowns.

“You should be getting proper sleep. The team appreciates that you do all these extra things for us to succeed, but you need to take care of yourself too.”

“Yes, Mr. Adachi.” I smirk, making him laugh.

“Shut up,” He says, flicking my nose. “The boys and I were wondering if you would like to come out to have lunch with us?”

“No, I always have to pay for the humongous amount of food you boys intake,” I say and Yuto nervously laughs. “I know you’re athletes and all, but you boys practically inhale the food.”

He smiles innocently and I roll my eyes, laughing. “Let me get ready.”

I kick him out as he joins the whining and complaining group of boys. I shake my head, quickly getting ready before shutting my door shut after me. The ten boys engulf me in a group and I sigh tiredly.

“WE MISSED YOU.”

“We see each other every day, you boys literally leave your dorms to come hang out at the baseball dorms.”

“It’s not like we think the baseball dorms is superior or anything,” Jinho says.

“But it is though,” I say and Yuto nods as we all pull apart, starting the journey to the center of town.

“It clearly is not, the swimmers’ dorms are so much better,” Hongseok says, making Yeo One and Yanan agree.

“No, you’re all wrong. Dancers’ dorms is where the party’s at,” E’Dawn says and Kino nods, smiling.

“Well then, you’ve obviously never been to the soccer dorms,” Hui and Shinwon argue.

“Everyone knows the basketball dorms are the best, okay?” Jinho says with Wooseok nodding.

“You’re all idiots.”

“You started it!” Wooseok says, sticking his tongue out.

“Now, now. Get along, children,” Hui says. Wooseok and I turn to him, glaring. Hui pouts and I laugh.

“There’s a new restaurant that I’ve been wanting to eat at, wanna go there?” I ask and the boys nod. Yuto walks alongside me while the others mess around with each other, almost as if they didn’t see each other daily. He slings an arm around my shoulder and pulls me into his side.

“Take a nap when we get home.”

“Mm, I rather spend time with my boys.”

“Your boys?” He raises an eyebrow and I huff, a blush creeping onto my cheeks.

“My boys, yes.”

“You’ve never called us that.”

“It’s a new year, I’m a changed person.”

“You didn’t change at all. You’re still the same dork I met when we were four.”

“Yeah, when you threw a baseball at my bedroom window.”

“At least you weren’t there to get hit.”

“You’re lucky I wasn’t either,” I say with an innocent smile, my fist warning him to stop. He chuckles, flicking my nose. “But I suppose I’m glad we met that way.”

“You suppose? Please, you’re beyond happy that we became friends.”

“You don’t know that. I can be acting and faking it.”

“I highly doubt that,” Yuto scoffs and I laugh.

“WILL YOU TWO PLEASE STOP FLIRTING AND GET A MOVE ON. WE DON’T KNOW WHERE WE’RE GOING AND WE’RE STARVING. FOR ALL WE KNOW, WE COULD’VE PASSED IT.”

“Shut up, Shinwon.”

“I’M HUNGRY, YOU SHUT UP.”

“I feel like you’re fifty percent sass and fifty percent ass.”

“Why, thank you.”

I roll my eyes and smile as we walk a little longer before stopping at the restaurant. We’re escorted inside and sit around at a table. I sigh, already knowing what they would want without them telling me. While they’re busy fooling around and being the idiots they are, I order for everyone.

“Did you get my favorite?” Yuto asks, leaning over to me and I look at him.

“Do you think I ever forget? You’re my best friend, Yuto. I know what you want and need.”

“Well, not everything.”

“What’d you say?”

“Nothing, don’t worry about it,” He smiles and I raise an eyebrow. Yuto puts his hand on my face, making me groan as I try to push it away.

“Yuto!”

“What?”

“Stop it,” I pout and he pulls me into him, squishing our cheeks together. I groan, trying to escape his hold.

“Look at them, they’re so gross being all coupley and stuff,” Wooseok says and I stop to glare at him. He smirks and I roll my eyes.

“Adachi Yuto, let go or else I’m-” I say, being cut off by his hand on my mouth. I peek up at him and he looks nervously at me. I smirk.

“Don’t finish that sentence,” He says, releasing me and I sigh happily.

“What’s the secret?” Yeo One asks and I shrug.

“Who knows?”

“But you know.”

"Do I really?”

The first time you met Hongseok was when you were kids your older brother was the first year in middle school as well as Hongseok. He brought a new friend home after school to play some video games.

Being a wide-eyed kid you didn't find him very interesting he had glasses with a bowl haircut as you watched from the stairs at the pair.

You remember your brother eyeing you from the sitting award.

"Hey Y/n this is Hongseok I met him in class," your brother said. Soon enough they became best of friends. And you became the annoying little sister. Hongseok was kind letting you watch them play even though your brother didn't like how you asked a million and one questions.

From elementary school came the awkward middle school phase of life as you entered the local school Hongseok and your brother were already in their last year of middle school. Leaving for high school once you hit another grade level.

Things changed from there. You slowly saw Hongseok change from a nerd to a little less of a nerd. You didn't mind how he was a nerd. He was kind. Pure of heart. Hongseok would give you an adorable smile to you when he saw you. Everything about him was perfect. You knew in your young mind these feelings weren't mutual or platonic. They were leaning more to romantic.

You will always remember the day it was the last day of school for that year. The whole year went swimmingly until you found out your "friend" was actually making fun of you. After you confronted her she pushed you down. You sat there and watched as her and your past friends walked past you. You felt defeated and abandoned.

You clutched your lead your bad next to you as you thought about why were you so unlucky for this to happen to. Until Hongseok showed up, he looked like he just packed up his stuff. He and your brother were moving to high school while you had to stay behind with these people.

"Had a hard day?" he asked standing as you sat on the grass. You nodded slowly wiping the already long gone tears. "Yeah, me too," he said sitting down next to you.

"My friends all abandoned me," you said looking at both of your sneakers. "And you and my brother are leaving as well" you sighed tears almost springing to your eyes.

"Hey it's okay," Hongseok said tapping your head caringly. "You know I will always be here for you" In that moment you knew. It was kind of a life-changing experience like the world went slower and the moon and stars aligned.

As the years went on you grew and so did Hongseok. He became a very handsome guy. From his swept brown hair to a new found confidence he had about himself.

It was a hot summer day when you found out Hongseok was leaving for America. As you sat on your bed panting from the heat your sudden phone buzzed. Looking down you picked it up to see an alert from your friend.

"I heard Hongseok was going to America for the next few years for college" you re-read that message multiple times. Your heart dropped as you thought of Hongseok leaving you. He was your friend and long time crush.

Yes, you admit it you had a crush on Hongseok your brothers best friends. Having a childhood crush on him you didn't expect to last till college. You thought after dating other guys you would get over him. You felt delusional about having a crush on him declaring to yourself you can't date him.

"Y/n Hongseok is coming over to hang out before he leaves for college," your brother said. You sat there confused, excited and happy to get to see Hongseok before the American studies.

You put on a fake smile "That's great" you told him.

Hongseok finally arrived at your home hours later. After having a small freak out, crying, smiling and the dreading his arrival.

You watched Hongseok out the corner of your eye to see him talking to your brother outside on the lawn.

"I can't let him go to America without him knowing my feelings," you told your friend. "Are you sure Y/n I don't want you to get hurt?" a male voice said through the phone. Your friend was named Wooseok probably the most loveable friend you could as for.

He knew Hongseok through a friend of a friend that's how he got the information. "I don't want to live with regret," you said peeking out to see your brother leading Hongseok inside. You heard Wooseok sigh "I can't stop you but just think it through a little" Wooseok said.

"I will," you said saying your goodbye. You jetted out your room to the mirror as you smoothed down your hair and looked at your clothing.

Going downstairs Hongseok was sitting on the sofa talking and smiling to your brother, He looked so good it left you breathless. Wearing a leather jacket his dark brown hair cut nicely with a large gorgeous smile on his lips.

Hongseok smiled as his eyes trailed to find you "Hey y/n" he said smiling waving you down.

The night was filled with laughs and enjoyable moments. It was awkward sitting so close to Hongseok your feeling aching for you to be in his lap. For yo to touch longer than the fading feeling of a high five and a short hug.

Hongseok has changed he globbed up into a handsome guy. He was still your little dork to you.

The night was dark you sighed looking at the door as the hallway lights shut off. Hongseok was staying the night but you couldn't bring yourself to confess to him. Your feelings tied up in a big ball.

"Goodnight Y/n" you heard Hongseok call from the door. You looked up deciding now was the time as you scrambled to the door as you opened it to see Hongseok heading to the guest room.

"Hongseok" you said whispered screamed out at him. "What," he said turning around at you.

You looked over at him in the dark light a sleep shirt with some baseball shorts. "Come here" you waved him over. You checked your parents and brother room there lights were off signaling they were probably asleep.

Hongseok walked over to you standing tall in front in front of you. "Hongseok I," you stopped breathing in some air. "I'm going to miss you," you said smiling sadly at the thought of him leaving.

You sighed "it's okay," he said. You gave a flat line smile and stepped closer to him. "Hongseok I wanted to say this for a long time" you paused. Your stomach was turning. heart racing and your nailed embedding themselves in your palm.

"I have liked you for a very long time," you said and leaned up to leave a kiss on his lips. Hongseok didn't have a response to your kiss. In the instant you knew. Hongseok grabbed your shoulders and pushed you off.

"What're you doing," he asked pushing you away gently. "I was" you stuttered out staring at his confuse look on his face.

He paused and put his hand on his forehead, your heart dropping with every second. "I have a girlfriend Y/n" he dropped the bomb on you.

Your eyes widen "Oh" you said pulling yourself away from him. You cheek hot from what you just did. "I'm sorry I can't," he said looking at you with those kind eyes. You felt stupid. No stupid was a simple word you felt like an idiot, dense, ignorant.

"Sorry I'll just go to sleep," you said opening your door trying to hurry in the room. Then Hongseok spoke up "If you told me years ago I maybe and probably would have," he said quietly. You stopped wiping the tears that were blurring your vision.

"Things change" he continued. "Yeah" you agreed "Goodnight," you said closing your door. Once the door was closed you were crying your eyes out. Salty tears rained from your eyes as you flopped yourself on the bed crying yourself to sleep.

The next morning Hongseok was gone his flight early in the morning. You felt like a fool as you stared at the tv as your brother went on about how Hongseok was so lucky to be going to America. It seemed Hongseok didn't tell him about last night. You could at least thank him for that.

Bonus part

5 years later

You sighed looking at the drink in your hand another Christmas party. St least the peppermint drinks were good. You sipped on it watching some of your friends mingle with each other.

"Hey" someone said you looked over not wanting to really mingle today. You looked up to see Hongseok in a suit holding a drink in his hand. He has changed he was taller more adult like. His skin still the golden tan like always. Your eyes widen "hey" you said surprised at his appearance here.

"Aren't you happy to see me," he asked turning his head a bit with a smirk.

You were glad to see him he was okay and healthy. "Of course," you told him. Hongseok grinned "How's life," he asked standing a few feet away from you. "fine," you told him with a straight smile.

"How was America," you asked Hongseok laughed a little "great as can be," he said. You nodded "but when I was in America I found out my girlfriend cheated on me," he said nodding.

You stared at your drink "I'm sorry to hear that" you said sincerely.

"Y/n could we maybe get a drink- or-" he was interrupted by someone slinging their arm around you. "Hey, can we go home I want to open my present early" Wooseok said suggestively holding your hips close. You smiled feeling your boyfriend warmth on you.

"Yeah we can go," you said looking at Wooseok boyish yet good looking face. "Hello Hongseok I haven't seen you in awhile" he bowed to his senior. "Me neither" Hongseok smiled a little at his old acquaintance.

"We such catch up," he said nodding. Hongseok gave a quick 'of course". "Bye Hongseok" you said.

"Goodbye," he said softly staring at the two off you. Leaving with Wooseok in toe. Your feelings for Hongseok was gone replaced with a platonic feeling. You smiled feeling Wooseok slip his hand into yours as you left the building.

Wooseok was now the love of your life after Hongseok he helped you through the pain cheered you up. He was your prince for real this time.

Summary: Experiences change people, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better….

“The flight to London, England is boarding now, please make your way to gate five.” I turned around to my four friends who had had the possibility to see me off. Hongseok had been very persistent in cancelling his plans in order to make sure I was getting to the airport.

“You better behave over there.” He said before wrapping his arms around me in a hug. I rolled my eyes slightly at his scolding and returned the embrace.

“I’m not that bad, I know how to behave myself mom.” The other three snickered at my teasing and now it was Hongseok’s time to roll his eyes. He then put his hand at the small of my back and gave me a light push in the other boys’ direction. I crashed straight into Hyojong who caught me by the arms swiftly.

“Take them with storm dude. They won’t even know what hit them.” I smiled at his encouragements and embraced his small frame. Then I punched his arm in a joking manner.

“Say bye to Hyuna for me.”

“Of course, captain.” He positioned him in an attention pose with his hand by his head and his back straight making me laugh and move along to the next member.

“You better not stop dancing just because you don’t have me there to push you.” Hyunggu laughed out the words and hugged me, a bit harder than the other two, quickly.

“Of course not, I wouldn’t want to disappoint you, you taught me everything.” He seemed happy with that response as he smiled and let me go.

The last person was someone who literally never stopped smiling, wherever he went he was always in a positive mood and laughing about with everyone. He was the one I would miss the most, well aside from Wooseok, my cousin.

“Wah, when did you grow old enough to go travelling on your own?” Changgu asked as he too hugged me against his warm chest. He then ruffled my hair with a big smile on his face.

“I’m only two years younger than you, you dork.” He laughed at me and inclined that it didn’t matter, I would always be like a smaller sibling he liked to protect.

The last call for the passengers were made and I knew that I had to go. I gave the four boys one last look while waving goodbye, tears of homesickness already made it’s way to my eye, however I turned around quickly in order to not worry them too much. Then I made my way over to the gate and onto the plane.

This was four years ago. Now I was back and more experienced than I’ve ever been. I learned so many new things, English was now like my second language and it would be difficult to adapt back to the extra politeness that was a given here in South Korea. The only one that knows I’m back is Hongseok, it was easier asking him to keep a secret since he was the only one that spoke english so even though the other boys overhear him they still won’t understand what’s going on.

After fetching my bag from the conveyor belt I walked out of the terminal to look for my mom friend. It wasn’t the easiest thing since he and the boys just debuted, finally, and he had to disguise himself a bit in order not to be jumped by fangirls. All of a sudden I felt someone tug at my elbow and who stood there other than one of my best friends. I jumped him with a hug and he almost fell over, however regaining his balance just in time.

“Wow, what happened to you!?” I laughed at him, knowing he meant the change in my appearance. “Where’s the braces? Are those ear piercings? When did you get so much taller?” I patiently waited for him to calm down a bit and stop freaking out.

“I guess London was good to me.” I said as we started walking out of the airport. Him insisting on pulling my suitcase. We got to the car and made our way towards dorm B where most of the boys were gathered at the moment, all the while catching up on everything we both missed out on in each other’s lives.

Soon enough we were parked outside the dorm and thanks to the window being open I could clearly hear that it wasn’t calm at all in there. Poor Jinho, being the oldest of dorm B can’t be the easiest thing in the world, the only one actually actually being of help would probably be Yanan, with Yuto and Wooseok dabbing all the time and just messing around and Changgu probably falling asleep everywhere, not that I expected him to be able to sleep through the chaos erupting in there right this moment. Hongseok and I made our way through the door and into the small hall which was currently filled with six pairs of shoes. We added our own and entered the living room filled with energy.

The first one to spot me was Hyojong who let out a ultra-loud scream and causing everyone to stop what they were doing and stare at the reason of his outburst, not that he always needed a reason. Once Hyojong was out of his shock he ran towards me, jumping over the couch in the process, and tackled me in a hug.

“Wah, Y/N-yah, what are you doing here?” He let me go, his mouth still wide open.

“Wait, wait, wait.” Someone realised how to use their voice again. “Is that Y/N? No way.” I laughed at Jinho’s astonishment and made my way over to him so that I could steal a hug. We were almost the same height, there were just a small difference between us.

After going around the room, returning hugs, I noticed that there was one who hadn’t said a word at all, and this person usually talks a lot.

“Changgussi, you okay?” He was staring at me, stunned, making me giggle. This caused him to snap out of his trance.

“What? Oh, it’s nothing, I’m just surprised because you don’t look so much younger than me anymore. You look so different.”

“Is that a good thing?” I asked, wondering what his answer would be.

“It’s definitely a good thing.” There was that smile I was used to seeing. I gave him one of my own back and offered to cook them something I learned in London. To which they refused but I did anyway.

A week later I was hanging out with Hyunggu, still in dorm B. We were in the middle of Just Dance, he wanted to see if I had kept my promise and not stopped dancing and it was pretty obvious that he was kicking my ass. I sat down on the couch, completely exhausted. I had practiced, but of course Hyunggu would be better since that’s all he’s been doing in order to debut.

“Wah, in all honesty, did you practice at all?” He asked as he sat down beside me. I gave him a joking glare, followed by a small but tired laugh.

“I did, but I had school too you know. You only practiced because that’s what you had to do if you wanted to debut.” He nodded, acknowledging my statement.

“Was it hard?” He asked. “With the english and all.”

“It was in the beginning but it got easier the more I used it. The people over there were really nice. Especially the family I was staying with, especially their kids. They had a five year old daughter and a boy my age.” He reacted at the last few words I said.

“You lived with a boy your age? Was he nice to you? He didn’t hurt you or anything, right?”

“No, I told you he was extremely nice to me. He showed me all the best cafées and everything that was worth doing in the neighbourhood.” I debated on whether or not I was going to tell him the last piece of information or not. In the end I thought, why not. “He was also my boyfriend while I was staying there.” Hyunggu almost fell of the couch.

“What!?” I was expecting the shocked reaction from Hyunggu, however I did not anticipate another voice utter the same word. I turned around to see Changgu standing in the doorway looking absolutely destroyed. Confusion overtook me.

“Changgu?”

“You have a boyfriend?” His voice was small and very quiet, it was hard hearing his question. I didn’t answer him, afraid that he would burst out crying, considering his current expression. Then he shuffled away, clearly in a negative mood. Hyunggu and I exchanged confused glances before I stood up quickly and ran after him.

I found him in his shared room with Yanan, sitting on the bed just staring at his hands.

“Changgu, what’s up?” I asked carefully, knowing how sensitive he can be in situations like this. He looked up at me, his eyes red from crying, he wasn’t a loud cryer. He cleared his throat, wiped away the remaining tears and stood up, dusting off his clean jeans.

“Nothing, I’m fine, you can go out and continue dancing with Hyunggu, I’m sure he’s waiting.” I didn’t, instead I sat down on his bed and pulled him down beside me.

“Talk to me, you know I won’t judge.” He chuckled slightly at that.

“When did you become so grown up.” I smiled at that, happy that I can try to help. “It’s just that, I always saw you as a smaller sibling and never anything else until you came back from London a week ago. You had changed so much that I didn’t believe it was you at first. I don’t know, something changed and I started developing feelings for you and I didn’t know what to do. I asked Hongseok, Hui and Jinho hyung what the best thing to do was and they thought I should confess. I was about to do that just now.” He gestured towards some chocolate and a bouquet of flowers that lay in a corner. “Hui hyung said some gifts was a good idea. But you have feelings for someone else and I just need the time to get over you, I guess.” He was crying again. Then he stood up and started heading for the door. “So if you could just leave me alone for a couple of days I’ll be fine.” He forced a smile in my direction and my heart broke. What he never knew was that all those years that he had treated me like family my heart had been beating for him.

I stood up and grabbed his wrist before he could open the bedroom door. He turned around and looked at me confused. I stood on my toes and pressed a small kiss against his cheek.

“If I leave you alone then how are we supposed to go on dates?” I asked and a big and genuine smile spread across his features. He then pulled me into his body in a big hug and didn’t let go for a very long while. We just stood there, in each other’s arms, knowing that he loved me and I loved him.

Pentagon Scenario: Their S/O being introvert/shy around other people.

A/N: I really wanted to make a new “Pentagon reaction to” and I turned it into tiny scenario’s. The request for this one was from my lovely koala @trashforbangchan: “their significant other being shy around other people but with them they're extroverted and silly". I hope you all will like this one. I worked hard on it. Sorry for any errors, English isn’t my first language. 🌱🌸

· Jo Jinho

You two were both very awkward and shy around new people. You usually stick to each other or to friends you know well. Sometimes it was a bit inconvenient that you two were both very shy. One night you two were going out to meet up with some old friends, but you were lost. Both to shy to ask someone the directions cost you a half hour extra to get there. “Jinho, maybe we should just ask someone to tell us the way”. “Heey, it is your idea. You should ask someone”. “… Never mind, I will call them and tell them we are lost”. Once you two finally arrived you were happy to see some old friends and enjoyed the night without having to interact with any new people.

· Lee Hwitaek (Hui)

Hwitaek and you have been together for a long time, so he knows how you are with other people. In the morning you were jumping around and dancing, because you were very excited to go to the concert. He enjoyed looking at you being all goofy and hyper. He also knew that once you step out side with him you were more introvert. He knew you very well. At the concert he could see your eyes shine the same way they did at home. He couldn’t help, but smile. He knows once you get all your energy gets out and you wouldn’t stop talking about the concert. He gave you a kiss on the cheek. Your cheeks turned red and you hid your face, afraid other people might see your red face. “You are too cute”.

· Yang Hongseok

Hongseok knew you as a pretty out going person, but when you two went to a party he saw a new side of you. You were clingy and very shy. He thought you looked very cute. He giggle at your attempt of socializing, causing you to give him a death glare. Even though he liked joking around, he was still very supportive. He stayed by your side the whole night to make sure you felt comfortable with new people around you. Having Hongseok made you feel more at ease and eventually you started to get to know some people at the party. It turned out to be a very fun night. “I didn’t know you could be so shy. Don’t worry, I will be here with you. Let’s have fun, okay?”.

· Kim Hyojong (E’dawn)

Hyojong and you were friends since you were little. When you were younger, you were a bit more outgoing and made friends really easy. Once you two went to high school he saw you became more shy around new people, but stayed very open and extrovert towards him. Around the least year of high school you started dating. Your personalities were a perfect match together. Hyojong is a very relaxed person himself and only gets very energetic with people with a lot of energy. When you two were alone it was usually an energy explosion. In one way you two were very different. Hyojong likes hugging you in public, but that is something that makes you feel very embarrassed. Not because you hated it, not at all! You were just afraid that other people might see it. “Hyojong.. People are watching”. “What is wrong, can’t I show the people around me that I love you”. He smiled and placed a kiss on your forehead. “I love you”.

· Ko Shinwon

When you and Shinwon met you were complete opposites, but you know what they say: opposites attract. Shinwon’s outgoing personality made you feel more confident around new people. He also helped you out when you were too shy to talk to new people. You helped him to control his “hyperness” in public, so he would blow people away with his enthusiasm. You were one of the few that could make him calm and relaxed as well. He would feel proud that you felt comfortable enough to be yourself around him. You two were a giggling mess at home. He loves the way you were more affectionate when you two were together. His phone is filled with silly pictures of you, but also video’s of you two being giant dorks. “I am glad we can be silly together”.

· Yeo Changgu (Yeo One)

Changgu and you used to work together at a coffeeshop. Changgu fell for you because you were very polite and calm. At work you were very sweet, but also very shy. Changgu finally asked you out after gathering all his courage. You shyly nodded yes with red cheeks. The first few dates you were still very shy, because they took place in public. On the sixth date you two stayed home and watched a funny movie. You started cracking jokes and started to re-enact some of the scenes together. Changgu loved this side of you as well. After the film he looked at you and smiled. “What are you smiling about?”. “I thought I couldn’t love you more, but apparently it is possible. Do you want to be mine?”. Instead of replaying with a yes, you answered with a kiss. “You are such a dork” he said smiling. “But I am your dork”.

· Yan An

Yanan already knew you were very shy and introvert, because your personalities are very alike. It is actually something that started to conversation between you two.The party was filled with people you two didn’t know. Yanan find the courage to start to conversation and you were very happy he did. “I am not really go with this sort of stuff”. “Believe me, I know what you mean”. You two really clicked and started to see each other more often. After a while you discovered each other’s goofy and extrovert side. Together you turned in this silly mess of giggles and silly faces. You were one of the few who got to see Yanan’s extrovert side, just as Yanan was the only one who knew how you were at home. “There is a party at Hongseok’s house tonight, do you want to go?”. “Or.. Or… we could just stay home and have another Harry Potter marathon”. “Only if you make the popcorn this time!”.

· Adachi Yuto

Yuto was a transfer student in your class. The teacher made you his “study buddy”. You were very nervous to meet Yuto. Yuto was very polite and shy as well. You two were very formal towards each other at first. It took a while to get use to each other. Study dates, turned into hanging out together. Eventually friendship turned into dating. Yuto made you laugh and you made him feel happy. You two messed around during school and found some other great friends in the school. You had your own inside jokes and even a weird handshake that only you two knew. You helped each other become more confident, instead of being shy around others. After two years your relationship was still going strong. You became more extrovert, even when Yuto had to go back to Japan. You promised each other to see each other at least once a year in person and you promised to call or text each other every day. “Thank you for making me feel stronger, I love you baby”.

· Kang Hyunggu (Kino)

You fell in love with Hyunggu on a dating app. You felt more confident meeting people this way, because you were very shy when meeting people in person. Hyunggu was a very outgoing boy. He feel for your humour and you sweet messages. Even though your parents didn’t like you to send selfies of yourself to others, you trusted Hyunggu a lot. You started to call and calls turned into facetime. You were very open and extra when you were texting him. He was able to get the real you out of you. After two years of texting and calling you two started to meet up. You were nervous. When you saw him standing in the park with a rose for you, everything felt right. “Wow... You are even more beautiful in real life”. You got shy, because you thought people around you were looking at you two. “Don’t be scared love, I am here and I think you are absolutely adorable”.

· Jung Wooseok

Wooseok was a bit awkward, but made friends very quick. This was very convenient for him. You weren’t as good in making friends as Wooseok. You two were classmates and needed to work on project together. You had a major crush on Wooseok, because of his clumsy yet sweet personality. After a long day of working at the project at the school’s library, Wooseok suggest to go home and play some videogames to relax. You agreed. At home your shyness faded and you were very extra while beating his ass in the videogame. Wooseok didn’t expected you to be so silly and extrovert. He brought you home afterwards. Before you could say goodbye Wooseok said: “Heey..ummh.. so I had fun tonight. Would you like to do it again sometime?”. After you smiled and said yes, he couldn’t control his smile and almost tripped on his way back home.
