me struggling how to feel about brett and reagan’s relationship because on one hand their friendship is so important and they support and care each other sm and brett only wants reagan to be happy (especially when ron happened) not to mention the lack of m/f friendships in media that stay platonic can negatively affect people’s perceptions of m/f relationships as ALWAYS needing to be romantic even most times no it does not- especially when said m/f ship is super toxic or feels forced/has no chemistry

but on the other HAND (haha pun) brett and reagan’s growing support for each other and chemistry is definitely going to become stronger as the series goes on and they’re so compatible because they’re so comfortable with each other makes it really hard for me (personally) to deny there’s no possibility of them ending up together because they’re so GOOD for each other and I need more representation of m/f couples actually LIKING each other that aren’t just the same “haha I hate my wife/gf” jokes we’ve had to suffer for DECADES

regardless please im begging at the writers LET THEM BE HAPPY

i live in the desert and we get rain so rarely i’m curious. mwah <3

insane timing for this ask wayli bc it just rained today for the first time after a heatwave and then Wildfire Season and i have been thinking about the rain smell ALL DAY! I LOVE IT! i feel like usually when it’s rainy for a longer stretch of time (and honestly where i live it doesn’t really rain for that long in a row? it’s mostly just gray and then either light showers all day or bursts of rain. anyway) then it kind of loses that metallic scent it gets when it rains right after being dry for a long time. but it still definitely smells like rain. like the air just smells so Clean. usually when it gets into the thick of fall i’ve found tht it gets a lot earthier as well bc of all the fallen leaves and how waterlogged they get etc etc etc anyway can you tell i love the rain. i fr get so sad when it’s been hot and/or dry for too long so i cannot imagine living somewhere that is both of those things…… crazy! hoped this helped wayli i am about to take the most luscious nap with my window open and the rain pattering and a HOODIE ON! for the first time in MONTHS! YAY!

Okay rewatching and locking this in

I think season 1 of Metalocalypse is AT MOST 2 years post their first album. The news is still reporting on Dethklok as though they are fairly knew. The tribunal appears to be having its first meeting about them and clearly doesnt know shit. Toki is exceedingly baby. Episode 2 has the fish telling toki ‘you have to come down here once a year’ (which would almost imply that it’s year 1 but I’m trying give toki the opportunity to be 18 in episode 1 since he seems 16 in the doomstar flashback).

I know that the plot wasn’t pre planned, it’s all backfilled, but we can easily say that episode 2 when Nathan deletes ‘16 individual albums for not being heavy enough’ and is only satisfied by his urge to go ‘right there’ (Mariana trench) that was his whale prophet dreams (further solidified by the fish talking to toki)

#metalocalypse #I’ll never be happy with the ages honestly #toki seems incredibly baby #and Nathan feel 35 #but he looks like he’s in his 20s in the flashback #BUT in the ‘he only excelled at football and frog dissection’ but they showed teenage him looking like adult him #same face #so maybe he just had a face like that #maybe he’s 30 in season 1 and 28 in the flashback
