Happy Inceptiversary and Happy 007 Fest! 

This blog used to host an annual challenge between the two fandoms that have their celebrations in July - the month Inception was released, and the 7th month of the year to honor 007. But as of 2022 we are taking a step back and trying something new!

We’ll reblog all the fandom announcements and events

We’ll highlight some of the best fanworks on Tumblr

We want your submissions so feel free to tag us

We welcome everyone not just people who are in both fandoms

We hope to make this an interactive space where you can send asks and we’ll get them answered, and we can collectively discuss the fandom experience!

“Just kidding, darling, the first thing she told me about you was that she could see you balancing me out.”

“It’s more that my crazy and your crazy mesh together pretty good,” Arthur says to the ceiling.

like HELLOOOO EAMES BASICALLY WORKED UNDER ROBERT AND THEY ALL HUNG AROUND IN NICE SUITS ALL THE TIME??? TELL ME THAT ISN’T FUN AND SEXY like AGH imagine this quiet new guy hanging around the place catches robert’s eye and of course our Boy is very Sad and needs Love and Attention and maybe he makes a Bad Decision and SLEEPS with Eames in a moment of weakness or just Fantasizes about him a Lot (ok so i know he clearly doesn’t recognize eames in the plane but....canon divergence mayhaps?????), and how would that impact eames during the inception??? would he feel bad???

and i mean just canonically!! eames has to observe him SO closely- yeah he was observing browning to forge him, but he definitely had to keep an eye on robert, because that was who he had to interact with as browning, that’s who he needed to ‘suggest concepts’ to. out of everyone on the team, eames really had to really get up close and personal with the mark. eames was the one to discover firsthand robert’s Big Sad Boy problems (’that boy’s relationship with his father is even worse than we imagined’), and all under false pretenses....is eames conflicted about this at all? does he get lost in robert’s eyes? does robert feel all weird and odd after he wakes up and kinda maybe vaguely recognizes the brit in the same cabin as him?? oh my gosh, and the possibility for identity porn??? THERE IS SO MUCH WITH THESE TWO

also it just makes me happy in my heart that cillian and tom are besties 🥺🥺🥺

Here is the link to my fic for @inceptionbigbang . Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible! It’s been one of the most positive experiences of my fandom life!!

This has been a while in the works, too. I’m a slow writer, so when I say that, this 14k piece has taken me since November (ish) 2019 to plan and write to fruition. During that time, so much has changed. I turned 18, I started HRT, lockdown ... I want to again thank everyone who’s been along for the ride with me.
