On today God saw fit for my Dad to celebrate another year and I don't know if I can find enough words to show the world how important Mr.Robinson is. Out of everything that has happened in my life my Dad has been the one consistent thing in my life and he showed me multiple times I am worthy of love ❤️even when I don't think I am. My Dad is full of wisdom and no matter who else turned their back on me when I made bad decisions my Dad 👨would be there to show me how to fix my mess. When my Dad ran the Lighthouse Crossing years many years ago he helped manifest my passion for food and the beverage industry. So as A Pinch of Butter continues to grow I have to give credit to My Dad. Despite all our suffering and struggles, you make the world a better place every single day just by being in it. You face cruel situations with kindness, with humour, and with love. You can always make me laugh, even when I feel like I’ll never laugh again. You taught me an adventure can be a walk with the dogs. You taught me to love nature, to never say no to cake, that tea solves all problems, to be brave and strong, to stand up for myself (sorry I got you in trouble with mum for telling her you taught me how to punch people 😂), that laughter is always appropriate, to love music and books and films, that it’s better to be happy and look daft than be miserable and dignified, and most of all you taught me to bring kindness and love into everything I do. You’ve slept on crap mattresses on hospital floors, had countless sleepless nights well past the baby stage, and have more medical knowledge than some drs... but you made sure me and mum remembered life isn’t all about hospitals and hospices.
