That's exactly why I blocked my anonymous answers right now. I reposted a tiktok video about the insane number of mass shootings in the US and I received a lot of hate for no reasons and now this defamatory accusations that hurted me a lot. As a victim of child abuse, I feel deeply disgusted and also completely ashamed of how some persons use children and victims to ruin innocent people life and reputation, also this show no emphaty for the deep pain and traumas that we deal with every day. This is not respectful for real life victims and abuse survivors. This person should be stopped right now, because he is deliberately trying to harass people and turn a mass of internet bullies against everyone he doesn't agree with!

And see the comments above!
Also, this coward blocked me, because I called out his behavior. But I have both screens and links, so I want to proceed to sue him for defamation, that's a crime, I can do it.
Oh. And in the comments you can see his DISGUSTING and DISTURBING reaction to this post:
Tumblr media
“Lol. Shut up.” that's what this waste of oxygen says to people who experience abuse as child (and as young adult as well), he doesn't care about victims, he just want to use them to make the others fight with violence and guns his own battles. Specifically, this 'politicizaton' of the world 'pedophile' has been used by the religious right to further its agenda of LGBTQ+ repression, and by the political right to dismantle opposition arguments (because most of the time they aren't even able to develop their argumentation properly).
More exhaustively this is a common thrope nowadays among right-wing extremist and conspiracy theorist: using false 'pedophilia' claims to diffamate leftist activist and LGBTQ+ people is dangerous, not only because the false accuser ruins the life of the person falsely accused, but also sets back real victims by delegitimizing their experience and also spreads dangerous, false anti-LGBTQ+ tropes.
This is why horrible crimes such as child abuse and exploitation shouldn't be used as a political weapon, expecially because defamation is a crime too.

Y'know when reading this discourse about bisexual women and lesbians I was inclining more towards understanding and agreeing with side that puts lesbians over bi women but it was your own shitty ass behavior that made me reconsider everything.
"There was just one woman who called bi women as cocksuckers"
No, there are plenty of lesbians who have done that and y'know it (your lovely bestie desisapphic excuses it too). They are generally not radfems but they do exist.
Stop saying bi women getting concerned over such remarks is "harassing lesbians".
And please pretend that you guys don't perpetuate rape culture at all but one of your mutuals legit reblogged one of your posts about bisolationist (who's a bi male csa survivor) saying that he's lying about his rape. As a csa female survivor I was appalled by this behavior. These are the feminists I am supposed to look upto?
And a lot , a lot of homosexuals love to say that bisexuals lie about their highest rates of r*pe and ipv even though every study done on it proves otherwise.
Idc if you believe biphobia isn't real or not. But there is a widespread form of prejudice that bisexuals face at the hands of both homosexuals and heterosexuals.
And every fucking time you guys just love to say "well it was just ONE of us" when it's so many fucking of you.
Bi women on this app have been continuously calling that out but you don't care. They're just lying no?
Bi people may or may not have privilege over homosexual people. But they sure as hell aren't privileged in general. Straight people don't treat them like royalty ya know? Actually try listening to a bi person who has overcome their internalized homophobia and the way straight people have treated them.
Bi women who identify as lesbians are bad evil lesbophobes. But straight people who identify as bi are not evil. No it's the stupid bisexuals that are the "spicy straights" right? No matter what the case it is always bi women's fault. They aren't affected by any other community at all! Right? Bi people don't go through any actual struggles (again in the words of your bestie desisapphic).
And have you guys ever thought that us lesbian women, as and straight women too don't have to firsthand experience to know what bisexuality is and that we should at least not police what it is like to live in a homophobic society as a bisexual? Like I generally don't see many known bi radfems here make lesbophobic comments. The only ones I have come across are eldopoism somebody and femaleinsight.
And lastly maybe maybe just consider that some of those bi women who seem lesbophobic go through internalized misogyny or homophobia which makes them shit on their own ssa and entertain moids more. That they're nothing but victims of patriarchal mindset too. It might change your perspective a lot.
weird u think not tolerating lesbophobia is putting “lesbians over bi women”.
“plenty of lesbians have done that!! and ur bestie desisapphic excuses it” just sounds like “all lesbians i disagree with form a unit and are best friends and never disagree” to me lol but im nearly sure i never argued only one lesbian in the entire world has ever uttered those words. im pretty sure my argument was that lesbians aren’t anymore likely to say such things than any other group and that it’s not enough of lesbians to justify stereotyping lesbians and being lesbophobic. but interesting how u twisted that!
“stop saying bi women concerned over such remarks are “harassing lesbians””
even tho i never said taking issue with such remarks is lesbophobic or harassing lesbians. i myself have taken issue with such terminology, but again it doesn’t mean im gonna accept lesbophobia in response to it either. it’s such a double standard that u think lesbians responding to lesbophobic OSA women by using misogynistic language is bad, but responding to that same lesbian with lesbophobic comments should be given a pass. both are bad. that’s where i stand and that’s why you wrote me this long ass message whining at me.
“please pretend you don’t perpetuate rape culture at all but one of your mutuals..”
weird. we’re mutuals now? based on what? bc i thought mutuals were supposed to be people that follow each other, but now mutuals are just people who reblogged my post that i didn’t agree with or respond to or ever interact with myself? also love how u just pretended like i can’t possibly be a victim of CSA myself lol.
i read thru the rest of ur rant but it was more of u putting words in my mouth, making assumptions, and insulting me for arguments i haven’t made bc u don’t know how to read. also acting like i said bi ppl get treated the exact same as hets (weird bc i said the exact opposite of that) or like i said only one gay person has ever said anything bad about bi people (weird bc i never claimed that) or that gay ppl can’t have prejudiced ideas about bisexuals (weird bc i said biphobia as in an individual prejudice is possible and some gay ppl do display it) and more just to get mad at me that i don’t look past lesbophobia. cry more about it ig or maybe take it up with the ppl u actually take issue with instead of putting words in my mouth & then whining random people are my best friend or mutual even when that isn’t the case whatsoever to justify ranting at me.

I hate asking for help. I refuse to cry in front of others unless  I feel comfortable enough around you. I tend to overthink the tiniest things. I push myself  to my limit  often times passed my limit. I read people pretty well, always willing  to give a helping hand even if I  myself  am having a hard time but will not dare ask for help.  I'm a lone wolf. A lot of folks say I'm hard to approach because  of my resting bitch face lol it's just my face. I think your Jujutsu kaisen matchup is
Yuta Okkotsu
Tumblr media
Yuta is a person who… He wasn't liked very much by people. Actually, he wasn't liked at all. People had rejected him themselves, regardless of his feelings.
He never wanted to be spurned, and he wanted friends. However, he could not have had them for a long time. Even if he wanted to have someone to talk to and also meet, he couldn't. He was harassed. Like everyone at school, he had people who bullied him. There are mean people everywhere who hate the weaker and laugh at them. He hated people like that, and he still hates them. Therefore, he was afraid of the world, and actually did not want to go anywhere. He had a really bad life.
While his world changed a little, he too changed.
He was not afraid to live and also smiled when he made friends.
However, he had some behavior left.
He got nervous quickly, and especially when someone was hurting his relatives, he was still hesitant to people and did not talk to strangers often, and when he tried, then he suddenly stopped, not knowing if he could continue talking. When something bothers him, he hides it even under a smile. He will not pass on bad things to someone else.
He tries to help everyone he can, but he will not ask for help in his problems. He will not burden someone with his own affairs, but in the meantime he burdens himself, and prefers to take care of it himself. But his every friend, or just a person he knows, can ask for help and he will definitely get it. He is just a nice person who cannot refuse to help. He liked it already. He also enjoys seeing a smile and listening to someone thanking him. Then he felt needed, as if he was really important to them.
important And he can also finally say that he has friends. And even someone closer than a friend.
He would never show his weaknesses. He will really cry for various reasons or because he is struggling, but when someone calls him to come, no matter what, he does everything quickly not to look like he is crying and sad and comes out with renewed energy. In everyone, he only cries in situations where he cannot stop it. Then he would hide his tears anyway.
He, too, would like to be comforted. When he comforts someone, he does it in such a way as to cheer him up as quickly as possible. When he cries, he just wants to hide. Whether alone or in the arms of a very trusted person. Just to think about it all.
He tries to express his feelings honestly, but doesn't want to be mean to anyone.
He is always feeling someone else's emotions. He thinks about it, and may even figure out what happened to make someone sad. He analyzes the time that the person spends to find out everything. Then he will try to change the mood to comfort as only that person could want.
Headcanon:
• He is an honest person who also hates false people. He often feels obligated to put you in a good mood. He would never put himself above you, and he will take care of everything.
• You don't have to tell him you want help. He knows when to help you. But when you don't want it at all, you can tell him directly that you don't need his help. Then he can only smile sadly and say that he would like to help you. Not everyone may want this from him, but he would like to give you a break. After all, he can do what you want to do for you. But he doesn't want to talk you into something you don't want.
• He will help you learn more about whatever you want.
• I think your time to spend it together would be something like movie nights. He'll watch every genre, but don't make it watch horror movies. Anything but that.
He could lie in bed with you and gently hug you or roll his fingers over your skin. Watch the movie with a smile and think only about what is happening in your surroundings at the moment.
• He doesn't see any problem with your style, but sometimes he gets scared by too much darkness.
• Since you both like dogs / wolves, and also know Megumi, what's wrong with going out for walks with his dogs? It is quite a nice activity and also quiet. Plus, these creatures are so cute.
• You can define his smile as the sun, but the moon itself is, in every sense.
• It is normal to think about sleeping and all the activities you can do together. He loves you by your side, so why can't he stop what you like to do with him? He himself will be happy to try to cook something. Even if he can burn it by accident. He would like you to be his good teacher.
• What he wants most is your depression. This is definitely not nice. He knows this feeling, and will try his best to add more and more happiness and love to your life.
You gave it to him, so he will give it to you.
The names he calls you: "My life" , "My happiness"
• He doesn't care as long as he's with you. No rules. Just to make you happy.
"(y/n)-chan, how are you? You're fine, right? Please be okay. Always. At any moment. I want you to smile at me. You are My happiness. My life. Be happy always, okay?"

--
I liked this episode overall, I'd say. I feel like Andrew Schillinger arriving to Oz is a fun plot point, especially with the way that everyone starts conspiring against him. Like, he never got a chance, but it's also pretty entertaining and I like seeing the Keller/Beecher/O'Reily team up, especially Beecher's turn toward being more calculating and vengeful while also being uncaring. It's just more exciting to me than when some of the drama/guilt/fallout stuff is happening. More straightforward action, basically. I enjoy the scheming and plotting and being determinedly two-faced because I think Toby is a little smarter with the way he goes about things (at, least when he's doing evil lol; his plots to do good have negative consequences).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sister: Ok, that was a pretty good cut. I’ll give them one point
Tumblr media
Sister: doesn’t he looks like an earwig? I mean, doesn’t he look a little buggy up top?
Tumblr media
Sister: Why does he still not have a mustache? He looks like if he was in an animal cartoon, he’d be a badger. And with the cane, too? I know he'd be a woodland creature with a cane.
Tumblr media
Sister: Can you? You don’t have a mustache. You can’t even help yourself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sister: Whaa?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sister: Why do they keep giving Said so many life lessons? He’s like nonstop educational after school specials. This episode’s moral was like “You must be true to your heart”. It's like that puppet show they watch. Everyone else just gets to be the boobies and he’s out here having to learn the lessons. Why don’t they give O’Reily a life lesson for once? He hasn’t learned anything in this show.
Tumblr media
Sister (muttering): Not eye-to-eye?
Tumblr media
Sister: you know, I had a dream the other night that we were in a tour group for something and they were offering tours with language options in Mexican Spanish, Castilian Spanish, and Catalan, and everyone was so happy that Catalan was being included because it was like they never had that option.
By the way, after some investigation, I believe he is saying “Tu error, mamao” right here --> “your mistake, stupid”. Mamao is Caribbean Spanish slang from "mamado", and as slang, means something like "stupid".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sister: I thought they were going to steal his towel like some kind of dumb high school hazing thing but then I realised that would be stupid because their showers already have a bunch of windows. Me: I could see him doing that just to be petty…
Tumblr media
Sister: (sighing) Maybe Alvarez won’t be thirsty. He’s been in Solitary. He’s been drinking pee. He’s lost his taste for water.
Tumblr media
Sister: You know, the problem with this is that usually in boxing there’s a story so you can get behind someone. Here, they don’t tell you any story. Me: The story is that Alvarez needs to regain his honor. Sister: No, but I mean like usually they wear costumes and stuff and have characters. Me: That’s professional wrestling. Sister: What’s this? Are they allowed to kick? Me: No. This is boxing. Sister: I’m reading a manga right now where they’re allowed to kick, though. And the sabotage is a lot better. They do the drugging the water thing just like this, too, but then another guy drinks it and passes out and they realise it's drugged. Me: That’s probably MMA, not boxing. Sister: What's the difference? 😔
Tumblr media
Sister: Maybe his liver and kidneys are super-powered now. They’re so used to him drinking his pee, they’re just like “mm toxins everywhere!” Maybe this won’t affect him.
Tumblr media
Sister: He’s gonna snap that dude’s neck.
Stray thoughts:
Sister was very distressed by Beecher’s lack of mustache (“I guess he’ll grow a mustache once he has his next mood change”)
I liked Said’s sister. I never noticed in previous watches that she was wearing a clerical collar; google says that women in the Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, and Presbyterian churches were clerical collars so I guess it’s one of those
Sister, who is very into Ancient Egyptian history, kept heavy sighing during the Narrator monologues when he was wearing that Party City pharaoh costume lmao
Sister on Tina Rivera: Why’s there always a yelling family member whenever tough decisions need to be made? Like in medical dramas? The patient is always chill and then there’s like a mom or wife flying off the handle and being a shrew.
Sister: They include the captions of the guy yelling about the orgasm, which you could barely hear, but for the Spanish, they just wrote “speaking Spanish”...
Final Thoughts:
Sister thinks the water drugging boxing plot is really dumb because the drug they’re using (chloral hydrate) is a apparently very bitter tasting sedative; “They should be dying with how much he’s dumping in the water”; “I guess the water in Oz just tastes that bad??”; “Also, it’s a sedative, so even if they don’t overdose on it, shouldn’t the guards find it odd that the losers are always falling asleep like 5 minutes after the match ends? I mean, they should be like passing out on the walk back to Em City, right???”
Sister enjoys Nappa (“Mr. Carrot”) a lot; his scene talking to Mukada is the only time she’s specifically commented positively on the acting in this show
Sister thinks Ryan should be forced to go in the ring and fight someone because Cyril already beat up someone so technically he’s already proven himself lol

OK, so I understand that white medical doctors, particularly men are trying to target African-Americans, particularly men and to the left we have well it’s complicated. you see orthodox crosses
Or you see, whatever you see, you know what I don’t know what you see, but it doesn’t really matter. Certainly I can see little checker marks on my arm.
I don’t disagree with some of that, but I don’t agree with a lot of it because what about the innocent man? What about the people who are not Sidney?
Jokers, ha, ha, ha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s all fun and games until some guy comes over here from Egypt or Greece or wherever the hell that dudes from I don’t know if some island off of wherever Corsica shit
And then they say, do you know Rebecca I don’t know anything about Corsica
Do you know Dr. William J Travis I don’t give a rats ass if you know about Corsica because you are a low class provincial piece of trash
And then Dr. Bryan is like that girl is stalking me. Are you fucking serious? Motherfucker, that girl doesn’t even drive a car how the fuck is that girl stalking you she’s not you’re not that important. Motherfucker you’re a doctor and your job is to be a fucking doctor.
Also, Dr. Brian, you don’t have enough personality for me to try to gather up your little personality bits so that I’ll be the next to you. I don’t need anything from you and your throat chakra it’s being affected because you don’t know how to speak your own goddamn truth.
Dr. Brian wants to be Rebecca Cooper and then say Rebecca Cooper is a narcissist with delusions of grandeur.
That’s not true and he’s picking on somebody who is currently disabled, because really with the cervical radiculopathy which can be proven. Of course, there’s all kinds of pressure and it’s really causing a lot of cranial disturbance.
And I’ll tell you something else Dr. Brian you’re gonna be in heavy heavy hit with the police because I’ll tell you police officers don’t like when people like you lie it is very very insulting. I don’t lie to the police generally you know.
That one cop I said listen here I’m a tourist. He’s like right right I should not have done that. No you really should not have done that but you did that so I have this magical power where I make friends with the bad guy because there are a lot of advantages to doing so well. I’m so glad that you’re in.
We better get these doctors fixed up because the narcissistic abuse is really really heavy officer
Call Dr. Brian, are you serious?
Lol yeah but if I call him that’s harassment right because he’s going to take one phone call and say that that is harassment because he called the police on me. Yeah like there was cranial pressure and I can tell you right now that is the absolute truth.
It’s a lot of nerve damage. It’s like it makes you very flighty. That’s very very frustrating.
But I suppose, if the United States Marines tells me to make that phone call well I’m gonna have to ask a couple of questions first General Tso and cell
John Rigney what do you know about all that shit? Motherfucker, I’m not taking orders from you anyway motherfucker I will sooner take orders from Dr. Ken but even though I’m not gonna take any fucking orders how do you you know what that’s why I am the empress so if Dr. Bryan wants to say I have delusions of grandeur I said you’re just jealous you are!
The cops are like no you’re right Rebecca you’re right that doctor is probably very jealous. Well I can’t clean up the medical crisis by myself and since they don’t wanna treat me for this dang radiculopathy it’s ridiculous right and then the ER doctor wanted to put heat on me and say that I needed to go to a mental institution because I’m a human trafficking victim.
Oh, blow it out your ass hole, Dr., so-and-so fuck you jealous whores

Thank God it’s gonna be a lot of rich people instead of me lol who get killed by the President of the United States is what I’m trying to tell you it’s not a crime if they had it coming is it
I don’t blame everybody for every horrible thing that happens especially seeing all of this negligence in the corporate world because they don’t wanna let their middle class and upper class children get hurt on the Cannes but it’s OK if people in Louisiana or Alabama or Georgia or Florida or Tennessee or Kentucky fuck their hands up it’s just little kids they’re just black kids they’re just immigrant kids and Asians you know basically the smart people with color and character
Well… Is this the part where I offer to borrow Dr Froedge his red SUV and drag Kathryn theoretically if she is in fact guilty of racism she’s definitely guilty of the schism fuck yeah OK hey Dr Froedge if shit hits the fan can I borrow your red car so that I can drag a county attorney bitch if I need to? Or is that too intimidating sound into the public
Now y’all all I’m saying is you know maybe maybe there’s poetry to be found in this nightmare I know that bitch isn’t gonna cross every one of us she’s just an object until we find a new county attorney who can actually prosecute the bad guys apparently
I will admit I do think that’s questionable to say but it’s only questionable to say because I am a minority who has been enslaved in the United States of America as a trafficking victim.
Hey Catherine and Jeff Sharp thank you guys so much for doing so much work to keep the community so safe and really moral and strong and good and you know doing the things to protect people like me and all of that yeah yeah I don’t worry about all of this harassment and gaslighting and torture and hell and don’t worry about those cans that are cutting those little babies fingers know you guys need to go play some golf and suck on a little baby soccer OK OK you be a good baby Catherine Jeff yes you are a good baby Catherine and Jeff
I hope they have to eat officer duffs dick and die
Oh god what a disgusting fucking crew you guys are absolutely fucking pedophile freaks aren’t you Kathryn
Mark Saderholm since you were allegedly the guy to talk to you I am just going to say this I strongly strongly suggest that the pedophilia comment be strongly investigated but I would find other forms of technology because these are nasty people they’re setting innocent people up all the time if they’ll be racist it’s hard to know what else they’ll deal especially in a bitches case like hers
Tumblr media
Catherine’s prolly jealous y’all
Pray for me
Crazy fucking white racist bitches
Jesus
Heat. That’s why we need feminism that’s why she needs to be psychologically evaluated in fact I’m gonna go ahead and called life skills tomorrow or maybe in a couple of hours and let them know that they need to probably have Catherine psychologically evaluated
It is what it is and she is not a stable person
If it has to be a violent take over in America to get you bitches to understand then that’s how that works because we protect children and women in this country and we don’t take orders from misogynist unless it’s a really really really scary person and be honest with you Catherine a racist coward such as yourself cannot be a very strong human being
Hon it’s just basic psychology you know the drill

Måneskin: "Different from whom?"
Greetings from Miley Cyrus - phenomenal numbers.
The streams of Zitti e Buoni are growing by the second, and ahead of Muse, on the top of the English charts, twelfth in the Spotify Global Chart. We almost tripled followers after Rotterdam (from 1.4 to 3.3 million, ed). Contagious and universal madness: T-shirts and merchandise sold out in 10 minutes. Like records, tickets for a tour that adds dates and expands on maps. They are even looking for us in festivals where the Rolling Stones have played. - Thomas
After the whole cocaine scandal that was started against us from France, which was later denied by my drug test, in Spain there people have been making murals with my face saying "No drugs". Some tweets made us laugh: «Congratulations, Italy! I have never been so sure that four people have fucked each other ". Miley Cyrus started following us. "You are great". “You are more” . - Damiano
From rags to riches - what a story
It was only 2016, and we were playing in restaurants, on the streets, in via del Corso (famous street in Rome). Damiano without a microphone, Thomas's guitar with broken strings, Ethan drummed on a cajón. At the occupations of the high schools in Rome (Kennedy, Virgilio, Mamiani) we had our first gigs and half an hour of fame, between those who criticized us and those who said "these guys are so cool". One of the rare times in which they offered to pay us to play - 50 euros each - we offered that money to those after us, in exchange for the chance to play during their time slow, as we knew there would have been a bigger crowd. We already understood then how it worked. That visibility was worth more than the money. We still think so ». - Victoria
The intimacy of rock - Choice of a genre
Music allows is this miracle which allows one to talk about very personal and private topics, even difficult and delicate ones. They are and remain deeply yours, but at the same time they become a confession that reaches a wider audience, and in this passage which is like a delivery, they also find their place in you, their elaboration. They are overcome, they are accepted. One moment it feels aggressive, one moment later a (soft) ballad. It's very cathartic. - Damiano
Against panic - The stage as therapy
I have suffered a lot from anxiety and panic attacks, it is a problem that I have worked on thanks to a course of psychotherapy, to my friends and family. Playing has helped me not to let myself be paralyzed by my fears, not to be limited in my private and professional life. I have learned to accept, to live with this side of me. I don't hide it. I no longer feel ashamed. - Victoria
This belief that only crazy people go to the psychologist is widespread ignorance. Nobody is born learned. And it is often difficult to understand why we are here, let alone the derivation and direction of our desires. It is a long and legitimate journey towards one's clarity. - Damiano
Essere fuori di testa – Ma diversi da loro (Be out of your mind - But different from them)
Already feeling a strong passion for something that is not a 'regular' profession but an artistic language, it puts you on a level where you're an anomaly, and while you're neither superior nor inferior to others, it places you in the condition of what breaks the mold but you're also being at a loss, leaving it to you to be bold and to take risks, hoping that they will pay off and land you somewhere. "What good is it if you don't stand out on your own?". You want to give it an aesthetic to your artistic dream, but to others it boils down to " You dress differently! You must be gay! ”, I'm 22 now and it makes me laugh, but at 17 it had an effect on me too. - Damiano
The beauty of being unique - Of believing in that and defending it
After all, we are all different not because we want to be alternative but because really no one is the same. Justice is being judged on what you do and not what you are. Justice is equality, respect, beauty. - Ethan
Fluid sexuality - Pride is freedom
We appreciate heels on men, we kiss each other, we have an open, extended mind, and we are proud of it. The horizons become vast, beyond the oppression of conservative families. With information on the web, knowledge is enriched and with it the possibility that minorities will be fewer and fewer, because majorities will be fewer and fewer. This will lower the volume to insults and bullying. If social networks can reach a village of 50 souls to reveal to someone, who is afraid of the darkness, that someone has felt that same fear.. There is no longer the need to give it a name, to define that "something" to fear, to brand it with labels that only limit you. Definitions have always had this effect on me. Gender should not even be considered in a person's judgment. Let alone orientation ". - Victoria
Sexism - A culture to be dismantled
Emma (Italian singer) dropped the bomb:" When I went to Eurovision, they insulted me over a pair of shorts. Damiano - half naked and in heels - was never criticized ". The judgment against women is constant, ferocious, and demeaning (if I have a lot of sex I'm cool but Vic a whore, where I show myself strong I'm a leader she is domineering and pain in the ass, who is successful because only because of her looks [and not the hard work she puts in]). As a male I am privileged, the harassment I suffer is not comparable to that experienced by a woman, the comments on my aesthetics are focused only on my aesthetics and do not insinuate anything about my professionalism and my competence, while women are victims of this kind of thinking in a systemic way. But I did find myself in a situation, out of nowhere, with someone who, pulling close to her for a selfie, started licking my face ... "What do you want, did you ask me?" Consent exists, and it is a must ». - Damiano
To grow as a person - The only rule to follow
For me, to conform is the total opposite of educating oneself, and the asphyxiation of one's expression (of freedom). Fortunately, I did not suffer heavy bullying, to the point where I felt I needed to change to adapt to how others saw me. But the matrix of who I am and the aggression that marks me is the same. If I'm a kid who dances and loves dolls, then allow me the freedom to do so. I used to be a kid who wanted long hair and played with Barbies. My friends, as a teenager, looked my long hair and teased me: "You have to find yourself a girl with a short hair to make up for it". My grandparents took the dolls away from me and said: “Stop it, they're not for you” ». - Ethan
“I was six and I already could not tolerate the distinctions between masculine and feminine. I've always had strong ideas about how I wanted to be. I refused things typically defined as feminine as a child, and they made fun of me for skating, for playing soccer, for not wearing skirts, for giving myself the chance to be as I wanted to be. I suffered a little, as I was bullied, but I had courage to stay true to myself, and today thanks to that courage I know that I could have been much more hurt, or I would have risked leaving the most important decision to others: the one about being just me". - Victoria
Love - music and girlfriends
I've been married to music for the past 20 years. I cannot wait to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. - Ethan
Everyone goes through their own experiences, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, but it's never other people's business." - Thomas
When, for the first time, I developed feelings and attraction for a girl it was a bit disorienting because I had never had the courage to go beyond the limitations I had imposed on myself. For society, being heterosexual is the norm and therefore often one automatically pegs himself in that way, giving up the freedom to experience many different shades and facets of love. Once I got over the initial insecurity of having to question one's own certainties, I lived my sexuality in a very natural and free way, as it should be for everyone. - Victoria
I had paparazzi under my house morning and night. So, after four years of relationship, I finally revealed her name. I still have the paparazzi under my house morning and night, but at least I don't have to hide anything anymore. - Damiano
The value of the group - Protecting each other
But the real relationship, the real family, is between us. Our band. We believed in it from the first day, even before calling ourselves Måneskin (moonlight in Danish), even before Ethan drew a giant moon, on the poster for our first concert. We share everything, even the pain of the tragedy of Seid Visin, who committed suicide at 20 because he was a victim of racism. Being a group is what we should all do together: stay united and not retreat in the slightest in the face of abuses generated by a distorted vision of someone "being different|. - Thomas
Non ho l’età – like Gigliola (It references Gigliola Cinquetti who won both Sanremo and Eurovision with her song "Non ho l’età" which translates to Not old enough)
Before us, the only one to win Sanremo and Eurovision together was Gigliola Cinquetti (in 1964). Is there is something for which I feel I am not yet old enough for? No, honestly no. Maybe for kids. I'll be honest, I'm not enough to be a dad. - Damiano
Reached the sky - What fears still remain
We are more than in the dream, we have conquered the dream. To fly high this high, there is the risk is to fall and get hurt, but we will try not to end up like Icarus, who burns his wings with the sun. Everything is in our hands. And this - somewhat presumptuously - reassures us rather than frighten us ". - Damiano
(ORIGINAL INTERVIEW IN ITALIAN)
[Please note that I have changed some words or structure sentence, trying to make it so that the interview made more sense lol - I skipped the first two paragraphs, which was basically the interviewer gushing over how pretty the band is lmao (relatable).
Any mistakes in the translation are sorely mine, nothing was proofread, so apologies in advance]

This is targeted at your dream apologist post, just to be up front. Just wanted to give my two cents in on some of the stuff w/o doing a whole rebuttal, since… I don’t really want to lol. To start off, I had an issue with how you framed the beginnings of Lmanberg. How Lmanberg formed wasn’t colonizing, it was just independence from the greater dsmp from a set of members that disliked the way things were ran by Dream (and by more direct extension, the rest of the dsmp citizens, namely sapnap.) Dream was protecting his power, not any kind of attachment made to the server, I’d argue, becuz in the end the way he relinquished control was by gaining more; by getting leverage over one of the original members, Tommy, via taking his discs.
Another thing, you shouldn’t be angry at ppl for not feeling sympathetic for a character that’s done such heinous things against other characters. You’re more then welcome to feel bad for him yourself, but no one else has to. After watching the whole of Tommy’s exile arc, it’s very clear to see the Dream was cruel and horrible to a child that hardly deserved it. Dream was dehumanizing to Tommy. Making him put all of his self earned items into a hole every visit and promptly destroying it all, telling Tommy that his friends don’t miss him, blowing up Logstedshire after finding Tommy’s secret room (that he hid from Dream to stop him from destroying it) filled with Tommy’s resources for escaping, not even allowing him to leave, these aren’t the actions of a good person put into a hard place, or a person with trauma dealing poorly with said trauma. That isn’t justifiable. Dream shouldn’t be allowed to hurt and inflict trauma onto another person becuz he has trauma. What he did to Tommy and to his friends (saying he didn’t care about them, saying he only cares about Tommy’s discs, Sapnap even had that sad moment of “you don’t think he meant it did you?” which. Yknow. Look between the lines methinks) was awful and doesn’t have to be forgiven by either the victims or the fans of said victims.
My opinion on the prison stay is…. I don’t really care lol. I definitely do see it as he deserves it, because what he did to Tommy was horrific. I don’t have any real sympathy for an abuser, especially one that does shit that I’ve had done to me before and done against a character I relate to heavily. So. Sue me if I think that Dream should have his shit rocked. Ignoring that Dream had very clear reasons as to why he was put into the prison and the fact that many characters have reasons to hate his guts and also not feel sympathy for him is…. Definitely the Dream apologist mantra. Noah fence ^^
One last bit since this ask is getting real long, but it was narratively cathartic to see Dream actually receiving punishment for his actions. Cathartic quite literally means “psychological relief through strong emotions” so. Yeah. Sorry ppl were getting it mixed up with catharsis, but there’s the word they probably meant to use. Didn’t realize it would be such a crime to mix up two very similar words but what can you do with a younger audience.
This isn’t meant to be an attack, or mean, so I’m sorry if I’ve been a little passive aggressive in my wording, but to be fair. Your post was as well ^^ Cant wait to hear your response, if you feel like giving one.
Alright, so first as a quick disclaimer, I’m going to out a summary of the original post’s points, just to ensure that we’re on the same page;
The post does say:
- don’t dehumanize c!Dream because it continuously hurts people who relate to and/or sympathize with him, also dehumanization in general is an inherently wrong mindset
- don’t attack people who sympathize with him because he’s a victim of abuse besides other things
The post never says:
- you cannot hate c!Dream and not sympathizing with him is wrong
- the things c!Dream has done are to any degree excused
- don’t dehumanize c!Dream because he’s a good person
- people who dehumanize c!Dream are real life abuse apologists
If you read the post and didn’t get these points from it, i advise you to reread it as I made pretty much all of these abundantly clear.
I don’t know why you’d start talking about L’manberg, but sure; I never said it was colonization. I said some people who have had their country colonized relate to him because he had his home torn apart and is desperate to return it back to its original state. This is a completely valid reason to relate to him as it is a pretty big part of the character.
Dream wasn’t protecting his “power”, because he didn’t actually have any power on the SMP besides technically owning it. Before L’manberg, all he’d do is walk around, fix creeper holes and the prime path, jump into conflicts and end them if they got too pointed - he even fixed Tubbo’s house once after Tommy burnt it down, he got unfairly mugged by Sapnap and Tommy because he had weaker armor etc. He never used his position as landowner unfairly and was on the same level as any other member; his only concern was too keep the community united and semi-peaceful. Of course he had an attachment to the server, it had been his home for months, maybe more on the SMP timeline.
Do you genuinely think listing the bad things he did is going to do anything to my empathy or the empathy of other c!Dream fans?
I saw the entirety of the exile arc live, and I saw what was happening, and I hated it, and I hated c!Dream. Yet I’m sympathetic to him when he goes through a similar situation, perhaps because I’m not a biased hypocrite.
I never said c!Dream was a good person. Saying “these don’t look like actions of a person with trauma” doesn’t make sense to me because, as you said later on, it isn’t justifiable either way. I’m not saying anyone has to forgive him. You don’t need to forgive an abuse victim for their prior actions to recognize their situation is messed up. You’re making up points to fight against in your rebuttal that I never actually said.
I’m not saying “don’t dehumanize c!Dream because he’s a good person”. I’m saying “don’t dehumanize c!Dream because he’s a person and dehumanization is wrong” and “people who relate to him shouldn’t be hurt or harassed”.
He didn’t even do “terrible things” to his friends, by the way. Tommy has said like five times that he doesn’t care about anyone but the discs but when he said that isn’t true his friends believed and forgave him. Dream says it once while something that matters to him is being threatened, so that it doesn’t get destroyed, and suddenly he’s hurting his friends (double standard methinks). As if he didn’t repeatedly try to help them and care about them up until that point and they abandoned him even despite his prior actions. He did things that might’ve hurt them, but that doesn’t compare to the amount of things he did for them. Saying he doesn’t care is blatant mischaracterization.
If you think (fictional) people who have done bad things deserve to be horribly abused and have their basic human rights violated, you know what, you do you. Be a fictional abuse apologist, be as bad as the people who say c!Tommy deserved it, go on. I disagree with you however, and I’m sure many people who are actually sensitive and care about/relate to fictional abuse victims (I have seen many c!Tommy apologists say the torture is awful and he doesn’t deserve it, thankfully) will disagree as well, so why should I care about your wrong opinion? If you’ve dehumanized him and are failing to see you’re incorrect and hurting people, bad for you. You’re just proving me right that this is a very real problem that this community has to do something about.

People on my feed: OMG (name) is doing NFTs! BOYCOT! The same people: Arcane is so cool! What a great show! [plays 30 hours of LoL, buys a bunch of cosmetics]
In 2018, now-former employees Melanie McCracken and Jess Negrón filed a lawsuit against Riot Games over violations of the California Equal Pay Act. The lawsuit includes gender discrimination, sexual harassment, toxicity in the workplace, retaliation claims and unequal pay. The company was also criticized for their use of forced arbitration in response to these claims, only dropping the mandatory arbitration contract after employees threatened to walk out in April of 2019.
Later in 2019 (when Arcane was announced) they offered to settle with the 2,000 current and former employees involved in the suit for a measly $10m until it was blocked by the Department of Fair Employment & Housing, who said the plaintiffs could be entitled upwards of $400m. According to court documents published by the LA Times, the DFEH said that "no enforceable changes to employment policies, at a company alleged to be rife with sexism, are part of the settlement."
It's reported that both the WoT and Arcane series had a $10m budget per episode, not including marketing, bringing the show’s grand total costs to over $100,000,000 for just one season. The series was nominated for 9 Annie Awards, has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, within a week of its premiere it ranked first on the Netflix Top 10 Chart in 52 countries, and ranked second on the chart in the United States and has been dominating social media ever since. A second season was already announced for post-2022 release.
So let’s cover this timeline. 2018 the lawsuit was filed. 2019, their out-of-court settlement was blocked by lawmakers in CA and shortly after Riot announces Arcane’s production. Arcane then releases in Nov 2021 and the court orders them to pay $100m to the victims in Dec 2021.
It’s not even funny how many of you pick and choose what to be angry about. Y’all see a pretty art style and a Traumatized Twink and you go all in clown-mode and ignore the mile long list of Actual Problems that Actual People are currently living through as a direct result of this company and their workplace. NFTs tho.
I am low-key hoping that Riot Games starts to publish NFTs so you all wake up and stop supporting this trash company and this trash show that was specifically announced and released to distract you. And you all fell for it!

hey same rewatcher from last time lol
I kind of like the friendship hotch and gideon have. specifically in s2ep19, gideon remembers hotch went to the burn unit last time, and when the victim dies says "sorry, next time I'll go" because he knows how the mother dying would affect hotch, its just kinda sweet
(and I'm sorry I keep harassing u I just wanted to tell someone these things and none of my friends are into cm)
hello again !! oh yeah i agree that the depth of the hotch and gideon dynamic really is something special because they give the sense of a longer friendship than we know of pre-season 1. and the whole burn unit interaction in season 2 is great at showing this especially when you consider that they lost agents in the boston explosion (before the show starts) so hotch and gideon probably spent a lot of time in the burn unit with their teammates before they passed and we know that when cm starts gideon is still under evaluation for field work because of boston. hotch taking the burn unit victims and knowing how badly things got fucked up post-boston for gideon really makes that whole interaction more special, in my opinion !!

examples of people being racist toward yoko unintentionally: 1- calling her a weird stalker when they glorify/don't mind the many white fangirls who used to stalk the Beatles. 2- spreading misinformation that she lost custody of her daughter when in fact she'd won against her white crazy ex despite everything NOT in favour of her 3- bashing her for using John's glasses on the album cover she worked with John on, when they would've praised the artistry and bold statement if she was a white woman
Hey sorry I got around to answering your ask so late! You make a lot of really interesting points and I rarely hear people consider that.
1 - reminds me of a Tumblr post I saw about an obsessive Beatlemaniac stalker and people were like “me” or “bless her” haha. Definitely different when they can interpret Yoko’s actions as “stalking”. And your point also reminds me of this quote, which isn’t about fangirls but still somewhat kinda related.
“Like Yoko when she met John, Linda was a divorced woman with a daughter when she met Paul mere months later.  There are stories similar to those about Yoko of her “scheming” to meet and marry Paul.  In the same way that Yoko is said to have joked prior to meeting him that she was “going to marry John Lennon,” Linda joked like any woman with a celebrity crush about how she was “going to marry Paul McCartney.”  (Bob Spitz notes both in his book The Beatles.  Guess which one he thought was conniving, and which one he thought was adorable.)... Was it the lucky fact that Linda got the scene a few months later than Yoko, or was it her whiteness?“
X
And I don’t have the answer if it was Yoko’s race that made her such a target, but it’s something interesting to consider and note. [And I’ll clarify this, I'm pretty sure Yoko didn't know about the Beatles until she became face to face with one, like she wasn't a fan who got lucky enough to meet her idol. In the David Frost interview and the 1971 Rolling Stone interview, John noted that Yoko didn't know him when they met, and Yoko Ono: Collector of Skies by Neil Beram says this on their meeting: "She was about as familiar with John's work as he was with hers. "I was an underground person, and such an artistic snob," she said later. "I knew about The Beatles, of course... but I wasn't interested in them." Just about the only thing she could recall about them was the drummer Ringo Starr's first name, because ringo means "apple" in Japanese.”] Also, and this definitely wasn’t stalking, but I posted a quote from Bob Spitz’ biography where he writes along the lines of
“[Linda] always insisted that she was going to marry Paul McCartney,” [Nat Weiss] recalls, “even before she met him”... It was no accident that Linda Eastman veered into his aura. She’d taken a few polite shots of Ringo and George before “zeroing in on Paul,”... Linda had come dressed to kill. Most days she played the typical rock chick, decked out in rumpled jeans and a T-shirt, with little or no makeup and unwashed hair. But today her hair had been carefully blow-dried so that it fell perfectly forward in wing points at her chin. And she was dressed in an expensive double-breasted striped barbershop jacket arranged just so over a sheer black sweater, with a miniskirt that flattered her gorgeous legs. When she squatted down – not so subtly, in what must have been a rehearsed gesture – in front of Paul for an intimate chat, he had trouble keeping his eyes from wandering below-decks...
, and some people commented that it appeared kinda predatory/pre-planned (reminds me of some criticism of Francie Schwartz’s meeting with Paul), but overall cute and everything. At the time I wondered how people would react if Yoko did that to John lol. No way of knowing, just a thought. And also, I know Yoko sent him Grapefruit and little instructions often, I think that’s usually what people cite as the stalking, that she tried to ensnare him with it. Again quoting Yoko Ono: Collector of Skies,
For a time Yoko kept in touch with John by mailing him daily instructions-she called this Dance Event-that said things like "Dance" and "Watch all the lights until dawn" and "I'm a cloud. Watch for me in the sky." John found the instructions as perplexing as he found them intriguing.
And quoting this interview (in which she also asserts that “each and every occasion she visited John at Kenwood, it was at his invitation.”),
Despite the popular theory that Yoko was frantically inventing schemes to snare the wealthy Beatle, she was struggling with problems in her marriage [with Tony Cox] and also working hard to establish her career in the UK. Arriving in London in September 1966 to perform at the ‘Destruction In Art Symposium’, Yoko was already respected as an avant-garde artist and performer in New York, where she was allied to the Fluxus movement. She had a trained musical background, and had recently been involved in the improvisational music favoured by her peer group. She had also compiled a book of conceptual and instructional pieces called Grapefruit, and printed up a limited edition.
Yoko distributed copies to a number of influential people during 1966-’67. And John Lennon was one of the recipients. This has since been interpreted as one of various ruses on Yoko’s part to enchant Lennon.
She retorts: “There was a myth that I sent Grapefruit to him… how I wanted to trap him. It was a printed, published book. I had an orange carton of them, a lot of it. I would be giving it to critics. It was that sort of thing. He wasn’t the only one who got it.”
X
And by then, John had already eagerly offered to sponsor one of her shows, I think he was genuinely interested in her work. I don’t think John was actually threatened by these notes or felt he was harassed, especially since he made the jump to invite her over while his wife was away (and Yoko just thought it was a party!). He once referred to Yoko “someone that could turn me on to a million things” in the Lennon Remembers interview, he admired her art. And I know he said to Cyn that the letters were just junk from another one of those weird artists, but c’mon, what do you think John would say to his wife regarding the woman he’s romantically interested in? I don’t think it would’ve been fully truthful IMO, especially considering when John said that he nearly invited Yoko to India around that time because he liked her so.
2 is very true. Tony himself tried to make it seem like Yoko and John were crazy heroin druggies, and that's the case he tried to make (and that’s what he tried to tell Kyoko, that he was “saving” her from drug obsessed occultists). But, Yoko had gone “cold turkey” (ala the song) off heroin in 1969. This was 2 years before she won full custody in 1971.
Although neither parent had been awarded sole custody of the child, Mr. Cox became increasingly reluctant to let Yoko and her new husband spend time with Kyoko, and finally refused to permit it at all. For a year before the Lennons came to America, they had been chasing Mr. Cox and Kyoko around Europe. In Majorca, Spain, the Lennons caught up with them and spirited Kyoko off to their hotel; but Mr. Cox called the police, and a Spanish court gave the child back to him. The incident added to his fear that the Lennons wanted to take her away from him for good.
Soon after the Lennons arrived in New York, they went to the United States Virgin Islands, to the same court where Yoko had been divorced, and that court awarded her permanent custody of her daughter.
X
But, Tony then took Kyoko to Texas (hiding/kidnapping her) which was in violation of that court order. Then more custody battle due to Tony’s stubbornness and evasiveness, but yes, Yoko did win custody then despite everything (even though John was very threatened by Tony lol, to the point he disallowed Yoko to visit him alone in order to discuss co-parenting when that was an option and suggested kidnapping Kyoko. But then again Tony was also kinda crazy. Seriously though IMO Yoko really tried gallantly to have Kyoko in her life, and the loss hurt her. To hear people try to spin it as Yoko being the monster in the situation through misinformation is unfortunate.)
3 is hypothetical, but I do speculate that if Yoko was white, the attitude toward her would’ve been different. Sean said, “It’s intense how racist the world is. If my mother had looked like Debbie Harry, I really think the reaction would have been different.” (X) Yoko’s former partner, Sam Havadtoy, also touched on this in an interview from 1990:
Q: ...No matter what Yoko does, she’s frequently the victim of a bad press. Any idea why?
Havadtoy: After John’s death, newspapers wrote that Yoko was this selfish person hoarding John’s memory, controlling it, not willing to share it with his fans. So after two years, she puts out 200 hours of film footage and a record and they say she’s exploiting John’s memory. She can’t win.
Q: Why not?
Havadtoy: Racism. If she were blond-haired and blue-eyed, nobody would have blamed her for breaking up the Beatles. They were the darlings of the universe; she was an outsider, an Oriental, an avant-garde artist--easy to pick on. When John married Yoko, the British press wrote: “At least he will have clean laundry.” And it’s still happening. America is infatuated with Japan-bashing.
X
And I do think Season Of Glass was a memory thing, I posted about it here: X.
And yes, I think that much of Yoko’s criticism/legacy was rooted in that initial reaction, which was pretty sexist and racist. But I think that influence can still be felt today, in ways that aren’t obvious. And like you said, unintentional. (Before anyone gets mad, if you dislike or hate Yoko that doesn't automatically make you racist lol. But the narrative built around her might’ve influenced your opinion of her, and the narrative was kinda rooted in a racist mentality. So that’s why and re-interpreting her in a fresh light is necessary).

THE ENEMY IS NOT A SKIN COLOR. THE ENEMY IS A CLASS.
Tumblr media
White privilege. The phrase implies special rights. The phrase implies having a jumpstart in the race by way of DNA. What it doesn’t imply is that that white-skinned Jim or Judy is gonna win that race, just that the game is rigged in their favor.
I don’t hate the concept. The validity of it, I mean. It honestly rings some-kind-of-true in my brain when taking into consideration the general social status of people of color. But there’s a problem with it. Not in its validity, but in its generality, its assumption, and the overall affect it has on our society.
The biggest and most obvious problem with it is that there are tens of millions of white people (if not hundreds of millions worldwide), who are all struggling just to make ends meet (if they can at all). There are “poor white folk” everywhere. And there are white kids who are terrorized by their own parents. There are white boys and girls getting bullied at school or in their neighborhood. There are white people suffering at the hands of violent criminals, scam artists, corporations, policemen… And I’m not talking about white criminals suffering, here...
I worked with this insanely gorgeous blond who was one of several dozen (I don’t remember the actual number) of women who were raped by this cop in my city (San Diego). He’d follow them from clubs, pull them over, take what he wanted from them, then send them on their way. He got away with it up until he didn’t, but how many cops still do? His choice of victim was young and white, as are most serial killer victims, but does their skin color matter? In the sense that they’re preferred as targets, yes, but not in the sense of right and wrong. Their white skin, in this case, wasn’t doing them any favors.
But let’s get back to the topic at hand.
Is “white privilege” real?
Well that depends on what you consider “white privilege” to be, and I think that’s where our signals are getting crossed. I think that if you look at it on a more psychological level you’ll see that, yes, “white privilege” is a real thing in that “white people are less likely to be demonized or judged negatively based solely on their skin tone.” (But not on their appearance. If a white person is dressed like a thug, he/she is going to get negatively judged the same way a Hispanic would. Whereas vice versa, if a black person was dressed like a total bookworm, they’re going to get judged as such, not as a criminal.) But blacks being judged more often solely on skin color is 100% true. Black-skinned people have been demonized throughout our nation’s history (and many other nations) and this demonization, along with insidious, covert attacks on black communities by those in power, have caused two things (among a plethora of others, but two for the sake of my point). 1: It’s caused non-blacks who are not racist but are just recognizing the patterns they’ve been force-fed by the media, to unintentionally relate black-skin with ignorance, violence, and criminal behavior. And 2: It’s brought about disparity, anger, and emotional trauma in the black community that is the cause of the higher crime rates in those communities and more black-on-black crime than white-on-black crime (by the people, I mean. I’m not counting by the government because that’s a whole other fuck-storm of shit that isn’t only aimed at blacks, but at any who are considered “lower-class,” which, yes, the majority of blacks in our country are. That’s not to say there are more poor black people than poor white people. I really doubt that’s the case. But the percentage of blacks or other minorities who are poor vs the percentage of whites who are is likely leaning in the direction of exactly what makes “white privilege” a valid argument. But I’m not a “facts” guy. The numbers are just ways to distract from the problem, so you’re not gonna catch me quoting them to cry foul on the BLM movement. The reality is that yes, there are probably more poor white people total than blacks in this country, but the psychology, the demonization of blacks, is a real thing.)
But there’s a problem with looking at this as “white privilege.” Number one: if we do that we (unintentionally) discredit any white person who is or has suffered. Those who are, or have suffered, will absolutely not take kindly to being told that they are “privileged”. And what happens when they are told this? It makes anyone with white skin who has suffered or is suffering (and there’s a fuck ton of us) think to themselves, “Oh, fuck no! You think I got it good? You think you’re the only one who has problems? You think you’re the only one who’s getting fucked by the system? Well fuck you, and your white privileged bullshit excuse to whine to the guilt-ridden middle class to get your free handouts! The government has fucked me over more times than I can count!” And what does this mind-state do? It creates a racial class-war between those who have white skin and are suffering, and those who have black/brown skin and are suffering. And who wins in this scenario? If you guessed “the upper-class” you get a prize. (Whatchoo want, a fuzzy bear? A goldfish in a plastic tub? G’ahead. Pick something nice out. You earned it.) So now you got poor white people with guns itching to shoot any black person with or without a gun who supports a movement that indirectly claims that their suffering is invalid. And what does this “civil class war” accomplish? It creates more “criminals” for the fucking private-owned prisons to make money off of, further separating the upper-class from the lower, creating more suffering, more anger, more hate, MORE RACISM.
So is white privilege real? Psychologically, yes, to the extent that our society psychologically favors white skin over black/brown. But has it ever made me any more money? No. Has it ever stopped the cops from pulling me over and searching my car? Fuck no. I’ve been detained, searched, followed, fined, towed, impounded, harassed more than most people you know, regardless of your color. I’ve lost count of how many damn times I’ve been harassed by the cops in my city. Shit, I wrote a goddamn rap song about it back in the early 2000’s called SDPD, smashing on the fuckers for harassing a guy who was just trying to get by. And I was NEVER a criminal. I NEVER had any weapons or hard drugs (ok, some pills and plenty of pot, but…), I was NEVER robbing anyone or breaking into cars or homes or gang banging (maybe just a smidge of graffiti, but that shit’s art), or causing any kind of…ok, no, there was some drunken shenanigans, for sure, but that was mostly my boys, not me. Lol The point is, being white DID NOT stop me from getting constantly harassed by the cops in my city. You know what did? A new car, less homies in the ride, no smoke blowing from the windows, and a slightly more tempered demeanor while driving. I still bump my rap music, but I’m not in a car full of teenage “trouble-makers”. I still speed, but I come to a complete stop at them signs, bruh. I still run red lights, but I look reeeal fucking carefully when I do. I still zip in-and-out of lanes on the freeway, but I keep it below 80 (mostly). So the only thing that’s changed is that I “appear” to have more money (with a nicer ride), and I show more maturity in being on the road. My skin color hasn’t changed, but my run-ins with the cops have.
The bottom line: Crying out “white privilege” ain’t gonna help anyone but the rich who’re sitting back and raking in the dough off all the drama and weapon sales and fines and arrests and damaged property that needs to be rebuilt. So don’t make our society’s problem about a skin color. When you do that you divide people into groups when you should be uniting them. Divided we fall. I know most of your intentions are righteous, (and this goes out to white people too who’re acknowledging their “privilege”), but you’re doing it wrong. You’re creating enemies by unintentionally discrediting anyone with white skin who has suffered at the hands of the system, claiming that you own the rights (the privilege?) of deciding that they’re the ones who are privileged, all while they’re slowly rotting in inequity right beside you.
THE ENEMY IS NOT A SKIN COLOR. THE ENEMY IS A CLASS.
And that class is the rich. The 1%.
Are most of them white? Yes. But will that stop them from stealing money from poor white people? From bankrupting small businesses with corporate industry? From putting blue-collar white people out of work and replacing them with machines? From taking their homes when they can’t pay back their loans? From putting them in prison when they fight back right next to you for equality? No. Because the 1% only care about profit, and they don’t care who they have to manipulate, rob, demoralize, or demonize to get it, or what skin color those people have. Let’s get our heads right. Open them angry eyes and see who the enemy really is. And fight THAT enemy, not the enemy that their manipulation has created for you.
How? The real solution to “white privilege” and inequity and inequality is a very simple concept but an incredibly complex task. It involves creating a society where money is obsolete. When this happens there will be no more inequality. There will be no “superpowers” or 1%. There will be no poor. There will be no rich. There will be no profit other than the profit of betterment, progress, knowledge, discovery, science, quality of living. But there’s only one way to make money obsolete, and that’s by removing labor from our society. Sound crazy? That’s because you don’t realize how close we are to doing it anyway. A fully automated society is right around the bend, my dudes. We have the technology to make ALL LABOR OBSOLETE, in which case no one will have to work, in which case money will have no significance. What will have significance? RESOURCES. But this is a topic I’ve discussed before and will again soon and more directly. So for now what can we do? We demand a society that serves the people’s interests, not the corporations’. Unfortunately I can’t tell you how to this because I’m not into politics, I’m into actual change, not perpetuating the same system that’s fucking us all. My advice? Start spreading the concept of a RESOURCE BASED ECONOMY as loud and as often as you can. This type of society eliminates corruption and inequity and is only just now becoming possible thanks to advancements in technology. Look into it. Spread the word. AND STOP CREATING SEGREGATION AMONG OUR PEOPLE. Please, for fuck’s sake, stop adding to our problems and start moving towards eliminating them. #fightsmarter2020 Thanks for reading. -cc

new york city is a dangerous place to be, daniel yeoh. i heard that your resistance friends are going to be meeting in a bar at the corner of broadway and 42nd in twenty four hours. i guess it’s important for you to be there. ( welcome sam ! henry golding are now taken ! )
( henry golding, cis male, he/him ) · you know, the gossip in new york city is insidious and gossip about a half-blood like daniel yeoh seems to constantly be afloat. what i know for a fact, though, is that they’re a thirty-three year old senator from colorado who graduated as a wampus from ilvermorny. apparently that inclines them to be a bit competitive and confident when he rolls out of bed in the morning. as a member of the high council, i feel bad that they’ve resorted to taking up the moniker DAWON. ( torn between two lives, two versions of who you are and who you could be. not believing in luck, but rather one’s own sheer force of will. the fire that burns in his heart, one’s soul, one’s entire essence. there is no off switch on a tiger. ) sam, 21, est, she/her, no triggers

history
daniel’s parents are the well known, bestselling author irfan azmi and an auror named rose yeoh
he was born almost destined for greatness, with a private school education for his first few years, until he got a letter from ilvermorny
he grew up between a combination of a classic muslim malaysian upbringing from his father’s side, and a magical upbringing from his mother
rather young, however, his parents divorced after not being able to work out, as they said, “the differences between their lives”, and daniel went to go live with his mother in the suburbs outside the city
despite that, he had a rather uneventful childhood
he went to ilvermorny, and did very well in all of his subjects
after graduating from ilvermorny, he tried to give the muggle side of education a try, and went to the university of denver, graduated with high marks, and then went to the university of denver school of law
despite his place in the non-magical world, though, he always felt that he was meant for the magical world
it wasn’t until after he graduated law school, things got a little.... weird
simply said, he fell in love. he met a girl through his work as an intern of a senator, a job he was gearing his life towards. long story short, the girl was harassed.
he would do anything for this girl. so he confronted the harasser. one thing lead to another and the harasser attacked him, and in a blaze of fury and self defense, daniel almost killed him.
it was a complicated situation, and after a lot of hush money, the person he almost killed decided not to press charges, and daniel, as well as the senator he worked for, who was his closest confidant, worked to have the victim relocated in a remote part of the world.
idk i might wwrite a drabble about it because there’s a lot more to it but that’s the basic gist lol
when things with the girl didnt work out, he basically secluded himself from the world and focused on his work. that seemed to work out well for him, though, because his political career started booming
he ran for governor and won
blah blah blah political life that i’ll fill in later
now he’s a senator very cool
of course now that he’s back in public and things are going well, though, the president is killed and he is forced into hiding
he was lucky enough to be very sick that day and survive, and feels endless sorrow for those that can’t say the same thing
he puts on a strong front, though, and does everything he can to make life better for those around him in hiding
character inspo
wallace (what if?)
ernie (sesame street)
calvin (calvin and hobbes)
fox mulder (the x-files)
other facts i want to include
despite his parents’ divorce, daniel is a hopeless romantic. in fact, his parents not working out may have influenced that a bit
he’s a bit cynical about love, but all the hopeless romantics who havent met the one kinda are, right?
he’s a very feeling person, but tries to hide his feelings to maintain the idea that he is unbreakable
he’s always in fear that his dark past actions will always haunt him, and will come back up to bite him in the ass
he’s a big believer in fate, despite everything
as with everything else, i’ll add more as it comes to me
infodump
favorite food: pho or chicken wings
favorite movie: the princess bride
favorite show: the office
hobbies: poetry, reading (fiction and nonfiction), cooking, exercise and sport (tennis in particular)

Try not to get caught up with the labels: Feminist, Equalist, or Humanist. The tag matters less than the larger goal society should set out to achieve. Equality for all and sometimes Equity to make small tips to the scale where needed. I am not afraid of embracing the concept of being a Male Feminist because my world is saturated by politics and I understand the players. I know the villains who wish to pit Feminist against Equalist or Humanist are doing so not because they believe any of the labels but because they benefit from the distraction between like-minded individuals who seek the same goals. Most men are not in the social position to be “The Patriarchy” but those men of wealth and power through industry, politics, or religion are the Patriarchy. An so long as they can make Men believe Women are a threat to them, that Black Lives Matter is a danger to White Americans or that Immigrants are taking the wealth of the country, these powerful men do very well so long as we keep fighting with the person next to us instead of realizing the real villains are often above us.
This is one reason why I like the idea of the Rise of Matriarchs in American Society. We can rattle these men’s cages and make them aware their power is suspect to change by a greater majority of society. This is not to say women cannot be corrupted by wealth and power as well but societies that have a more representative/diverse governments tend to be LESS corrupt and that is a step towards progress everyone benefits (except the extremely wealthy men who clutch power).
This post (despite the starter above) is not a political breakdown post though I plan to write on these subjects more in the future. Instead, it's more of clarification of my views and where I stand on various topics related to feminism. I realize there are topics that I might not touch base on and if you want me to add one you can shoot me a note. I also might hold opinions that do not take an absolutist view towards a topic and in today's politics that can be dangerous on the left and right because anyone who isn't falling in line 100% can be labeled a traitor to the cause or party.
Access to Birth Control and Planned Parenthood
I am always bewildered how nonsensical conservatives are in regards to these topics. The very best means of avoiding abortions is education, family planning, and birth control which prevent young women from having to make a difficult choice. Despite this, they believe in abstinence and try to remove birth control basically pushing more young women into the realm of motherhood because of a few minutes of passion that will ultimately decide the next 18+ years of their lives!
I believe Planned Parenthood should be available and welcome in each community to ensure that young women and men are protected, educated, and equipped with the proper means of avoiding unwanted pregnancies. I also believe condoms, IUDs, Birth Control Pills and Plan B’s should be available on the cheap and discreet to further protection. Lastly, Birth Control should be covered by insurance, even business insurance regardless of the employers personal/religious views. In other words, I am pretty damn liberal on this.
Abortion Rights (Link)
There are fewer choices a woman might face more difficult then deciding if she should or should not get an Abortion. I wrote in detail about this topic before so I will give you the short version. I believe NO ONE likes the idea of a abortion but those of us who understand the issue also know that forcing any woman regardless of age, race or social position to give birth also not ok. We in society should make this choice informative and safe. We do that by having comprehensive sexual education and birth control to be the ‘front line’ of avoiding this difficult choice. If she decides to take the next step or explore her options it shouldn't be done by bullshit church clinics attempting to use shame, guilt or false information to change her views but institutions that provide her all the options and information she could need to make the choice that's best for her. Everything should be her choice without influence from the community, the church, her parents or even the male involved. Aftercare programs should also be there to help her no matter what choice she chooses.
I think we should aim for the 20 weeks (Recent science article suggests this is possible when the babies consciousness kicks in. Open to changing if the article ends up being false) and under as the optimal time to make the choice. However, I am open to learning more on this topic and discussing if the “when” should be pushed further back. Lastly, if it comes down the choice between saving the mother or unborn fetus, I believe the mother's life is more important unless she deems otherwise. There are few political topics where I think men should shut up and let women decide... this is one of them.
Paid Family Leave
This isn't just a woman's issue but also a men's issue as well. I would actually argue this is a progressive issue as both the father and mother both deserve to take part in raising a child in those early stages. We need to consider this as a long-standing social program to allow career-oriented adults (both male and female) to continue their careers but also to support their family. We also need to ensure employers don't attempt to punish these women (and men) by skipping over them for promotions or refusing raises because they decided to have a child.
There is no argument from me that women deserve a longer leave of absence being the one who gave birth and breastfeeds the baby. I think both parents could benefit from this sort of social net and it's important we build it in such a way that it also covers two mothers or two fathers and even adoption.
Girls Education
With a better education for girls in the United States (and for the matter the world) has proven to improve economies, lower crime and even slow overpopulation because academic opportunity provides new options instead of simply being a wife/mother (nothing wrong with those if you choose that as part of your lifestyle). This is still a major issue as there are still countries that place girls education as secondary to boys education. Even if they are far away it is still our responsibility to ensure girls rights to an education is provided for them. Its pretty clear I believe in this topic wholeheartedly, however if you know me then you know there is more often then not a but around the corner.
The only caveat I can think to note is Female only education programs. An example of this is Girls Who Code that teaches programming to young girls. I love this program and I think its great they are trying to narrow the tech industry gap by pushing for more female coders. However, as someone who worked in a non-profit industry for a few years and created co-ed athletic leagues, there is value in having boys work with girls. These young women won't be working with only females forever, eventually, they will have to work with male coders and gender segregation robs them of that early experience. On a second point (and the real thing the operators of this program are missing out on) it is the fact if they have males in their class/program they can catch/alter/adjust the problematic behavior of male students to make them the new gold standard of how a male coder should act with their female coworkers. I suppose this is all just perception but I always believed its better to have both genders work together so they might view each other as equals rather embrace a gender segregation to achieve some corporate goal of having a bigger female workforce without address the issue of toxic male work environments.
MeToo Movement
I admit I am of mixed feelings about the MeToo Movement. I hesitate to support ANY movement that relies heavily on the court of public opinion. I worry about the history we all have and how sharp this social edge is at cutting down men (and women) who stand accused of any transgression. At the same time, I understand this is the reaction when sexual assault (verbal or physical) is simply swept under the rug for decades.
It scares me a little making me wonder if I ever pushed something too far. I think of jobs were I work with men and we goof off telling stories but having female coworkers nearby. They participated in the tales but I feel a dreadful concern that one or more of them simply played along trying not to make a fuss. Perhaps I made someone feel uncomfortable online at some point in the past.
Lord knows I was a victim myself to a young stalker who drove past my work taking pics and texting the line “LOL. I know where you work”. I was only able to make her stop harassment when she texted things like she was gonna lie to the police and send me to jail and I replied back with the screenshots of the whole conversation making her think how they (the police) might react when I share the text logs (clearly she didn't think her grand plan thru). I also endured a few indecent encounters with drunk women (usually on Saint Patricks Day) when I wear my kilt to the bar and they lift the edge to get a peek. I politely laughed it off and brush their hand away trying to ignore the fact they were we attempting to see if I was wearing the kilt authentically.
When you’re the victim of something like this you know it in your core that people were mistreating you. I know I never groped a woman, physically assaulted anyone or flashed myself but have I made improper jokes and I hope I never made anyone feel uncomfortable.
In the end, the MeTooMovement is a good thing. It needs to evolve into the next stage taking on a political form where it becomes not just a hashtag and social media post but evolve into real-world policy and social change that adjusts how men treat women in society (and the occasional female on male transgression). We can all do a little better and MeToo has the momentum to perhaps create a lasting social change by creating consent and decency program that could be taught both in schools and also in adult careers.
Women in Politics (Link)
I touched base with this topic before and I am pretty comfortable in my position. We don’t need more women in politics, we need more Smart Women in politics (and for that matter, we could do with some smarter men as well). Women make roughly between 20 to 30% of the leadership positions in government. Champions like Lee, Clinton, Warren, and Collins make up some of the smartest women in politics and bring a character with them that makes not only Washington better but the whole country better.
The reason why I make the distinction between “More Smart Women in Politics” and just “More Women in Politics” because of women like DeVos, Palin, Bachmann, and Sanders exist. Really just stupid stupid people who don’t know nor care about the long-term effect of their policies and their divisive rhetoric. We could do better than the likes of them and I hope this 2018 election brings a wave of strong/smart women who will balance out this government to something more representing of the country... 50/50.
NOTE: Preferably a BLUE wave of strong women.
Conclusion
I handpicked these topics because they relate to women's issues. By no means are these topics the only thing women care about but they connect deeply with feminism. As I said above if there is something you care for me to add to the list and hear my personal views/beliefs then shoot me a note. If we do not agree 100% on a topic I ask you to reflect on what I write before writing a hot worded post. If you have an opposing or slightly different view on a subject and think I could benefit from hearing a feminine take on a topic, by all means, share your post (and links to information). I am always evolving in my opinions and alternative views with thoughtful insight commonly shift my views. As always thanks for reading.

3 years ago, my mom and I decided to move back in together for financial reasons (more hers than mine), and in a stroke of miraculous luck, we were able to move back into our old apartment that we occupied before we moved into (separate) apartments in Hollywood. We were so excited because it’s an AMAZING apartment -- tons of space, and split floor plan with two master suites, a washer/dryer (extremely rare in L.A.), great neighborhood, etc. I know there’s that phrase “you can never go home again”, but we both sincerely believed that we were meant to be there, especially given the serendipity of the unit opening up again just a few days after my mom had contacted the managers to inquire as to any vacancies...
But then the nightmare began. Almost immediately after moving back in, we were plagued by the shenanigans of our upstairs neighbors -- a woman and her 18-year-old son. Blasting music all hours of the day and night, various unidentifiable bangs and slams and thumps, yelling and carrying on, etc. When we tried to talk to him, he just blew us off. He was, in fact, extremely fucking rude. A total little punk. He mother acted all innocent and played the victim, claiming WE were harassing HER by constantly texting and calling her (she had given my mom her number) to report the latest nonsense her son had pulled. Our managers claimed there was nothing they could do (and, in fact, did nothing). This went on for TWO YEARS. It was a fucking hell involving police, tearful calls to the managers in the middle of the night, even consultations with a lawyer... It wasn’t until the punk kid got into a violent physical altercation with someone outside his apartment at like 3am and woke up the entire complex that the managers finally decided to take action, and both mother and son were evicted about a month later.
Naturally, Mom and I were relieved and thought our nightmare was over. A few weeks after the mother and son left, new tenants moved in, a couple of twenty-something guys. My mom introduced herself to them the night they moved in and they told her they worked so much that they would only be home to “shower and sleep”. She said they were very nice and polite and understanding.
Well, guess what? The fact that they worked long hours only meant that they would be up all night having rowdy get-togethers with their friends. Mom and I both went upstairs multiple times to ask them to please keep it down. Again, they apologized and seemed sincerely understanding. One of them even gave me his number so I could text if it got too loud. So, I did. But every time I did, he would either apologize again but continue doing whatever they were doing, or he would claim that they weren’t doing anything at all and it was just him and his roommate sitting on the couch watching a movie. Even though I could HEAR the ruckus and multiple voices in my living room!! I even RECORDED it on my phone and sent it to him!!! Still he would continue to gaslight me. Eventually he stopped answering my texts or his door altogether, and the bullshit continued. Again we contacting the managers, and they gave us the same spiel as before.
As a “solution”, they offered us a different vacant apartment in the same building, only on the top floor (meaning, no neighbors above it). I’m like... how is this a solution?? How is the answer to tenants being disruptive assholes (which, by the way, is stated in the lease no less than FOUR TIMES as being ground for eviction!) US having to move??? Why should WE have to give up OUR home, which we’ve lived in now for 6 years, because these fucktards can’t control themselves?? Why are WE being punished?? My mother is almost 70, retired, worked her ass off her whole life.... she doesn’t fucking deserve this. She doesn’t deserve this stress nor being so openly disrespected. I certainly feel very guilty that I don’t have the power to do more for her -- if I had the money, I would hire a good lawyer and sue ALL their asses... the tenants, the managers, the owners, everybody.
But I don’t have the money, and I know going to court would only cause more stress for both of us. So.... we decided to take the other apartment. It’s smaller than the one we’re in now. I know it seems petty and #firstworldproblems, but fuck, man, the apartment we’re in now is the first place we’ve lived since moving out to L.A. where we had everything we needed. We have the room, we have the comfort, etc... My room in particular is so big you could do yoga in it, lol. My bathroom has a huge tub and tons of storage. I have a “dressing area” with two huge closets on either side. It’s the place we always wanted. It’s a place we DESERVE to have. And now we’re being chased out of it... for what?? Because a couple of dudebros are incapable of exercising the slightest bit of decency and consideration?? WE have to move, but they get to stay in that huge, cushy top floor apartment and continue to be pieces of shit. Is that really the world we live in??
I’m trying to look at this positively -- an opportunity to downsize (I do have A LOT of crap), the possibility of a fresh start and new energy, and, above all, a peaceful night’s sleep. Yet I can’t help but be plagued with thoughts of whether or not we’re doing the right thing. Is this the whole “you can’t go home again thing” rearing its ugly head? Should I be doing something different? Should I have done something more? Am I giving up too easily? Do I just let the assholes win?
