Tomorrow in France, a metal festival named Hellfest is going to beginning. It will be from the 16th to 19th june, and from 23th to 26th. I will be broadcasted on Arte TV. It's a German-French tv, and it's FREE. I have linked the English versio of the website.

There will be BIG NAME, like Ghost, Megadeath, Gojira, Korn, Deep Purple, Scorpion, Guns'n Roses, Sabaton, Epica, Nightwish, Metallica, Airbourne, Megadeath, Wardruna, Therion, Sepultura, etc..

And of course, less "famous" by general public. There is various stage for all variety in metal, on the stage named "Warzone", "Temple", "Altar", "Valley". You can found all the lineup and days here.

Wednesday, January 3: Power Trip, "If Not Us Then Who"

R.I.P. Riley Gale (1986-2020)

“If Not Us Then Who” benefited immensely from Arthur Rizk’s slamming production, which presented Power Trip in the best possible light and enabled them to transcend metalcore/crossover conventions.  As it was, the track recalled Pantera without copying them, with an intensity in the vibe even though the instrumentation was straightforward (other than the effects at the end).  Riley Gale’s bark was straight crossover, but he enunciated clearly and injected just enough metal to give his vocals a distinct personality.  Power Trip was right on the cusp of something huge with Nightmare Logic, and everyone including the band knew it, but Gale seemed to have a healthy sense of perspective that would’ve gone a long way towards helping him and the band navigate their way towards bigger pastures without losing their sense of self, which was why Gale’s untimely passing was felt so deeply by so many.

I get a bunch of merch at local shows cause they always deserve my money but this may be the coolest thing I've ever owned.

By P.H.0. (a phenomenal instrumental band btw. Mixing traditional instruments with hardcore) they have a necklace that you can plug into your computer and I think their music is coded into it.

I am in awe, in love, and amazed.
