Day 5 - Age of Heroes

honestly though my favorite thing about jrwi pd is the heroes that weren’t meant to be.

people who had no ounce of strength in them, or maybe who thought they lacked the goodness, stepping up to save others.

ashe didn’t have powers, but she still stood next to the other prime defenders, ready to defend them with her life.

cantrip had every odd stacked up against her after the collapse of overlord. but she still found it in herself, found it in xavier and alan, to go for the vigilante thing. even if she felt less than favorable towards heroes.

doug was shallow, and a liar, and he hurt several people; destroyed william, vyncent, and dakota’s home. but he grew, and he changed, and he made a great sacrifice to save others.

summer wanted to help from the start, even if she only wanted to run in the background. but then she had the power to save people. and the first person she saved was doug.

even fucking harlem, some shitty delinquent TA who just wanted to go home that day, decided not to walk away. decided to step into the role given to him and face what he feared most, even if he told himself he hated those kids.
