My thoughts on Harley Quinn Season 4 Episode 8:"Il Buffone"

💙I feel like they could have started the episode without the opening scene (Harlivy coming out from the time machine) because that scene was shown 3 times overall, and start it from the scene after it

💙it was great to see more of Volcana

💙Lex getting rid/blocking the sun to mess with superman like BRO THAT'S THE SUN

💙Nora being the girlboss that she is!!

💙Len and Nora>Bane and Nora

💙It was amazing to see more of Len. Also why does he wear the hat? (not sure how to call it but that thing on his head) when he is out of his costume? Are the animators afraid to show us his hair?

💙 Probably my favorite episode this season. It was great and funny although I could've use less scenes of Bane. I am getting too much of him and I don't like it

When it bleeds it pours - King Shark (Harley Quinn) X Reader

Summary: King Shark tries to take you out for Valentine’s Day, but his killer instincts start to kick in.

Was Requested!

It was a day for lovers, and it wasn't your favorite holiday. At least not anymore and it was because of a certain shark. You were so excited for King Shark to get back from his trip to his home. He was going to tell Tabitha that he had a girlfriend now.

You smiled as you picked up the picture that was on the kitchen table. You and Nanaue took this photo as a celebration for valentine's day. You planned on purchasing a frame for the photo during your shopping with Nanaue. You heard the door open and their your lover came into your apartment with nothing but a loving smile and greeting hug.

"Y/N, are you ready to go shopping?" Nanaue asked excitedly.

"Of course," You said as you gave a kiss to Nanaue's nose, "How was your time in the kingdom?"

"Augh! Daddy is such a pain, he banned me from the kingdom so I had to make sure it was a quick visit. I was at least able to tell Tabitha about you though. She rather seemed pleased about the fact that I have someone to love now," Nanaue explained.

You smiled as you grabbed one of King Shark's hands and held one in your palm, "I'm glad you both are getting along quite fine."

"Yes I am relieved, but I will remember it doesn't matter what Tabitha thinks because..."

King Shark approached you and gave you a kiss on the lips, "You are the only woman that I truly love."

You chuckled as you kissed him back, "I feel the same way."

"Do you want to get some meat?" Your boyfriend asked you, "I know you love meat."

You laughed as you booped your boyfriend's nose. King Shark looked at you in astonishment and then smiled at your sentiment.

"Nah, I'm in the mood for some fish. Wanna go to the beach?" You offered to Nanaue.

"Sure, besides it's valentines day and I have a few ideas of what we could do."

Nanaue looked at you with the most naughty grin you have ever seen. You knew he was up to something funny, dirty, or very romantic. Maybe all of those ideas actually.

With your shopping bags in tow, you and your boyfriend ran towards the beach.

Once you made it down to the beach you and King Shark both stripped down and wore your new swimsuits that you both bought at the store and made your way to the shoreline. Once you touched the water, you shivered.

"Yikes! It's freezing!" You shirked.

"It's not cold for me, my love," King Shark commented as he put his head on top of yours and secured his arms around your torso.

"Well your cold blooded, that's why you cheater!" You teased as you attempted to get out of your boyfriend's grasp.

You both laughed as King Shark lifted you out of the water and he held you over his head.

"Put me down! Ha ha ha!" You laughed loudly.

You flailed playfully, unexpectedly you fell out of your boyfriend's grasp and landed under the surface of the water. You sank to the bottom of the sea and hit your head on a rock.

"Y/N!" King Shark panicked as he dove under water and searched for you.

Luckily, King Shark found you due to his unique eyesight that humans didn't have. You sank to the deep bottom of the sea and King Shark was lucky that his shark-traits helped him in finding you. What King Shark didn't know was that blood was coming out from the side of your head. He sniffed it and his pupils dilated, he had become enraged.

King Shark's personality had changed entirely and instead of the cheerful, kind, and romantic man that you loved. He turned into a raging beast that wanted to destroy anything that had gotten in his path. Despite all these traits that had came from King Shark's instincts. He had a new instinct that had mysteriously came to him.

Protect the love of his life, from anything and everything.

The angry shark searched underwater once again for your presence. He found you floating lifelessly in the ocean, and gripped your leg. The raging shark swam up to the surface and threw you onto the shore of the beach.

"Woah King Shark, calm down! Help has arrived!" Clayface shouted at his best friend as the shark became even more angrier and ran towards the brown figure.

"Ahh! Somebody help!" Clayface cried out.

"I got it!" Poison Ivy yelled as she wrapped the angry shark in vines and secured him to make sure he couldn't get lose.

"Y/N!" Clayface yelled as he looked at your unconscious body.

Poison Ivy ran over to your body and inspected your condition.

"She's just unconscious, but she needs CPR!" Ivy said.

Ivy put her hands on your chest and pressed both hands. You woke up in sudden shock as you spit out the water that had gotten into your lungs.

"Oh my gosh! Your okay thank goodness!" Ivy exclaimed.

"Where (Cough) where (Cough) where's Nanaue?" You said, while trying your best to be able to breathe properly again.

"He's fine, come on we have to get you to a hospital."

With Ivy assessing the current situation of your health, you passed out with none of your senses working.

You opened your eyes slowly as a bright light had shined from the ceiling. You slowly lifted yourself so you were leaning against the hospital pillow. You noticed that you were in a hospital room along with a sleepy King Shark sitting next to you.

You smiled at seeing how peaceful Nanaue looked, but yet you decided to wake him up.

You shook Nanaue's arm, "Nanaue, wake up."

Nanaue woke up and immediately looked overjoyed seeing you awake, "Y/N, your okay! I'm so sorry about our day out. It didn't go as planned and I should have been careful of how I handled you. I was being so careless and I'm so sorry. I promise I'll make this up to you somehow!"

You smiled at his apology and leaned towards him for a kiss. Nanaue leaned in and enjoyed feeling your lips against his mouth.

After the kiss, you both separated and took his hand into yours, "What matters is that I'm fine Nanaue, we'll just have to be more careful about how we have close contact with each other next time okay? Cheer up, I love you okay and an accident isn't going to change that okay?" You reassured your boyfriend as you put a hand on his cheek.

Nanaue smiled as he leaned into your touch and place a hand on top of yours.

"I love you Y/N, I just worry sometimes that's all."

"I know and I appreciate it Nanaue. I appreciate everything that you do for me as my lover and the most closest person I've been with in my life. I trust you Nanaue," You smiled as you kissed your boyfriend on the nose.

"Thank you Y/N, I promise you. I will never betray your trust," Nanaue reassured.

You chuckled, "Don't worry, I know you would never."

"I'm sorry this wasn't quite the valentine's day you were expecting. Also, we have Clayface and Ivy to say our thanks to. They saved you, while I smelled the blood from your injury."

"Thanks for letting me know, and I had fun shopping with you Nanaue. I will cherish any day when I am able to spend time with the man I fell in love with," You replied.

King Shark chuckled, "And I love spending time with the women I fell in love with."

You both gave each other a deep kiss reminding you both that even a single accident or event could never break the relationship you both had. He was your soulmate, and you were his.

Sad to Harley Quinn end for a while 😢

I largely enjoyed the season, there were a lot of good and funny things, but a couple recurring tropes just fell flat for me. The girl boss thing was cringe. It didn’t even feel like real girl boss stuff, more like a conservative talking point/stereotype.

I felt like the Harley-Ivy relationship could’ve been more interesting as well. The dynamic of a hero and villain dating had more potential.

Joker as mayor of Gotham felt underutilised too. Such a cool twist that they really didn’t do much with.

Highlights were the episode where they travel to the future, Bane’s pasta making, the cabin episode etc. It was a solid season, but not as good as season 3. The individual high points were as good as anything in the series though.

Can’t wait to see Gotham city sirens/Birds of Prey in Season 5 as well as how they handle nightwing’s resurrection 😩
