just because a woman has had relationships with men in the past doesn’t mean she can’t be a lesbian. ivy’s sexuality is imo very open to interpretation and a LOT of lesbians identify with ivy and hc her as a lesbian.

also as a lesbian who has had relationships with men and even identified as bi in the past, it’s really fucking annoying to have random people online invalidate your personal experiences bc people think that any wlw who has ever had relationships with men in the past can never be anything but bi.

Laszlo & Nadja: (idk their ship name lol) married and endlessly horny and in love with each other, pls don’t ever change this relationship

Vauseman: Dated in the past and their whole love affair is a huge part of the show. They part ways in the end but Piper bucks up and moves to Ohio just to be with Alex so still canon and hopefully real married when Alex gets out

Janason: Had an on and off relationship due to Jason being rebooted hundreds of times but Janet always retained feelings for him. They eventually find each other again through the course of the series and finally get to spend endless bearimies together til Jason walked through the door 😭 Still in love til the end but it’s so sweet and sad

Harlivy: Literally is canon in the comics, was heavily implied since the 90s, also implied in other assorted animated medias, kinda only noticed as “canon” recently cause of the HQS (which I love) but it’s unfortunate people wouldn’t believe me till that episode and season came out. In media where they’re not together though they were either exes or I choose to believe they have a past together :)

BBRae: Depends on the universe whether they’re together or not but for the most part they’re dating or have mutal crushes on each other. If not, I choose to ship in any universe lol

Zadison: Had a canon threesome but should’ve been properly developed more as a relationship but Ryan Murphy hates sapphics >:((

Jori: Bade was the main ship throughout the run but if they were ever to reboot it, Jori would have to be canon now. Cause as we all rewatch it, we understand it was Jori all along.

Gelphie: Similar to Jori in we all thought it was the straight ship but you rewatch it and think, wait a minute..these bitches gay. Ofc you’re wrong but in my HEAD they ran off together

Hizzie: For a hot second, I legit thought these two were gonna be canon. I know it’s Hosie forever but like after Kaylee left, the development between these two took a weird turn and Lizzie kept rejecting MG and going to Hope. Plus their already established frenemy relationship and past episode developments focused on their friendship like..why didn’t this happen?

Amedot: I thought this was gonna happen back in 2016/17 because of weird subtext we got but that was probably just wishful thinking. My thoughts on it were “I know nothing is going to happen but I think there’s a less than 1% chance for something, or at least for subtext”. But then Lapidot took over the fandom so I was wrong lol. Ofc neither ship actually became canon and Peri was revealed to be an intended aro/ace, which slowed down some shipping but not all of it ofc. Side note: the artist who “confirmed” ace/aro peri also ships amedot sooo.. I guess you’re good in that aspect? Anyways, now I do still ship it but mostly nostalgically and I think prime 2016 amedot was the best.

Cassunzel: I like this purely hypothetically but I do think they had a canon crush on each other in the show which is gone by the ending but it’s only real in my heart ❤️

Reiusa: Literally never gonna happen but I like the what if of them together in the future and co-parenting Chibiusa while still giving jabs at each other and the whole Rei cares about Usagi more than she lets on. I’m wrong but it’s nice to dream

Did you see what the Harley Quinn showrunners said about their plans with harlivy and joker/Harley? I won't say specifically what in case you don't want any kind of spoilers but if you do look it up (av club) I will say that kind of transparency is unique and kind of refreshing!

I did look this up when you sent it and was quite pleased! Not just about the news, but how it implies the understanding of the unique place this show/couple/dynamic holds and actually meets it with reassurance.

Of course, I did answer this more than a month late and since then we've had news not only of a s4 renewal but a different showrunner, so who knows if their promise still holds. :P But since it is someone who's been there from the first season, I assume she'll continue that vision.

Jonathan Crane:

I'm torn between "Jonathan Crane has never touched a Pokémon game in his entire life" and "Jonathan Crane is a Genwunner Change My Mind." Pick your poison; it could go either way and both are equally hilarious concepts to me.

Edward Nygma:

Eddie has always prided himself on being too "mature" for a dumb kid's game, even when he was growing up, but honestly he's just never actually played it. If he did, he'd probably end up loving it. He'd probably be a really competitive player, too--the kind that sucks the fun out of it for everyone else.

Jervis Tetch:

He has no idea what that is. Well, that's not entirely true. He's heard of it, but aside from the occasional toy or Pokémon-related thing he'd see in stores, he's not familiar with the series at all. He might like it, if he played it, but he wouldn't be obsessed with it or anything. It'd be a "once in a blue moon" thing.

Pamela Isley:

Pamela hummed as she watered her plants. They took over most of the room, which was fine of course, anything for her babies, but she'd like a bigger space than the cramped apartment. At least it wasn't Arkham. As she turned to the next plant, she heard a knock at the door. She grabbed a vial of her latest poison and mentally went through the checklist of who it could be as she slowly stalked towards the door.

The knock came again, faster this time, like whoever it was in a rush to get inside. Pam opened the door to reveal Harley, out of costume with a few fresh bruises and a bag slung over her shoulder, looking down the hallway as though someone had chased her.

"Harley, what are doing here?" Ivy put the vial down on a table next to the door.

Harley's head snapped to other woman, and she jumped to hug her. "Red, thank fuck. I didn't know where else to go. If you didn't answer, well, with Selina out of town, and everyone else in Arkham, and I haven't talked to Bruce in- But that doesn't matter. You answered!" She giggled, in the way that Pam knew meant she was nervous.

Pamela, who'd never been good at hugs in the first place, carefully pried Harley off of her, holding on to her shoulders. "Harley, you're rambling. Why are you here?"

Harley swallowed. "I'm done with him. For good this time. I-I need somewhere to stay, and-and I don't know where else I can go. I don't-I'm worried he's going to try and find me."

Pam didn't think the Joker would spare his now ex-girlfriend a second thought. Not that she thought he ever did. But Harley needed someone to comfort her, even though there were probably plenty of people who were better suited to the job.

"You can stay here for as long as you need. He wouldn't be stupid enough to come here, not after the last time we fought."

Harley's thank yous became muffled as she once again clung to Pam, who awkwardly patted her on the back.

"Alright, you're welcome. You can come in, and I'll make tea."

Pam stood to the side to let her in, and as Harley let go, she dashed for the couch, dropping her bad on the floor in front of her. Ivy went to the tiny kitchen to look through her cabinets for tea. She still kept a box of an old friend's favorite, an old friend she didn't like quite as much as she once did, but she kept his favorite all the same. As the water boiled she went back to Harley.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" She leaned against the wall. Harley shook her head, she was crying now, the weight of breaking up with the Joker catching up to her. Pam only hoped she'd stay strong this time. That asshole didn't deserve her. "Do you want to talk about anything?" Harley shook her head, more hesitant this time. "Alright, well the remote's on the table if you want to watch something. No guarantees the TV actually works, though. I'll be back out when your tea is ready, and we can get takeout tonight if you want." Harley nodded slowly and reached for the remote.

Pam could hear the sounds of the TV from the kitchen as she poured the water in Harley's mug, the one she kept specifically for her. She leaned against the counter as the tea steeped and sighed. Harley was away from that bastard now, and Ivy would do anything to help her get back on her feet. She smiled at Harley as she brought the tea out. Anything at all.
