One of the funniest things in the history of cinema is when a Twin Cities movie theater ran Harold and Maude for 114 weeks straight, to the point that people started protesting outside.
I LOVE the signs, which are mostly to the tune of "we have nothing against the film but we'd like something different once in a while."

The hearse from the 1971 dark comedy movie, Harold and Maude. I’ve never seen the movie. The film crew hired a famous car customizer to build this. They only had one, and at the end the car gets dumped off a cliff. Like, they literally destroyed a ‘67 Jaguar E Type for this movie…
