just so you know, it’s very obvious to actual artists that you’re posting AI and then lying that you’ve done it all by hand. kind of embarrassing, and more than a little fucked up.

This kind of nonsense usually ends up in the trash with a laugh but as it's my first "your art is AI", let's go! (It was just a matter of time, as practically all my artist friends got this kind of messages at this point)
it’s very obvious to actual artists...
Actual artists ? You mean, like me, a professional illustrator in her 40s, who has started drawing at the age of 8 and who has been drawing with a consistant art style for the past 15 years (with some improvements, thank god 🤓) ? People like you have accused me of tracing using tracing paper when I was a kid, tracing in Photoshop 15 years ago when I started to post on the internet and now my art is "AI". I should be used to it by now: when I posted this one 14 YEARS AGO, people told me it was traced and that "I wasn't a real artist, actual artists could tell"
I've consistently posted step by step, WIPs, vids, reels, gifs, shown the number of layers I use by art (sometimes more than 100) but apparently, it's never enough. And my art is AI generated ? Which one ?
So much for the Loki one, I apologize for the 0,3%…
Which is also funny is that fans of Supernatural, Good Omens, Sherlock, etc…have been able to say exactly which reference pictures I used for each drawing, not only for faces but sometimes also for the pose and the clothing (because yes, omg, I use reference pictures, the horror 😲)
However if you want to talk about my technique, and I've never hidden it, I sometimes use photos or 3D models for backgrounds because I hate drawing backgrounds. For instance the background of the Superwholock one is composed of a couple of stock pictures (a pub).
Same for a "Sherlock Harry Potter AU" I'll post in a month or so: some parts oh Hogwarts are screenshots from the movie because I didn't feel like drawing a room full of students.
Also, is there sometimes mistakes in my art that don't make sense ? Yes, nothing new, I make mistakes, I've been doing it for years and I still do it, particularly when it comes to anatomy. I want to pull my hair out when I notice them weeks (sometimes months) later but here we are.
Anyway, people like you who throw "it's AI" accusations all over the Internet better think twice because the result is this.
Don't get me wrong, I get the AI paranoia but instead of sending messages to artists like this one, ask kindly about their process, their technique, etc…and also, have a look at their archive, it could help.
I'm leaving you now, I have AI art to generate (= spending 10 hours per drawing using reference pictures, finding inspiration from classical painting, using about 100 layers and stressing about the art not being good enough).

It was after 1 A.M. and Harry should've been home and hour ago.
He had texted you to now wait up for him around 10 P.M., so you'd gotten yourself ready for bed, had a read, before switching out your lights and drifting off to dreamland.
It was now early in the morning and you were worried about Harry's whereabouts.
He had gone out for a couple of hours, having a few drinks with some friends. He had gone to his favourite pub with them and had gotten an Uber there so that you didn't have to drive. It made you happy that he stayed local and didn't need to go into the major cities to have a good night out.
You sat up in bed, switched on the lamp and put on your glasses. Grabbing your phone you checked for any messages off Harry and you were lucky to find a few texts from him.
H💛: On my way back now. Hopefully you're too busy sleeping to read this. I love you.
The concerning matter was that Harry had sent that message at 12:40 A.M. and yet he wasn't laying next to you in your shared bed. Swinging your legs over the bed, you slipped on your slippers and took small steps out into the hallway as your eyes adjusted to the dark light.
You texted Harry back on your way down the stairs asking where he was and whether he was okay, but he didn't respond. You swiftly made your way into the kitchen, searching for the car keys in the top drawer where they were stored at night. You weren't even sure who Harry had gone out with, only that he was out at the 'Black Cat' pub.
You were moments away from calling the landlord of the pub, before he made himself present.
"You're so pretty baby."
Spinning around you were scared for a moment as to where the noise came from, or who more specifically, however when you saw Harry sat on the floor resting against the kitchen cabinets your panic subsided. You didn't even care that he was flat out drunk and still holding a beer in his hand, you were just relieved that he was home if not slightly frustrated that he hadn't even thought to mention that he was back safely.
"Harry!" You said, too excitedly, before kneeling on the floor in front of him.
You took the bottle out of his hand first, placing it on the counter above you. Next, you cradled his face in your hands to make sure that he definitely was real. You had been so scared for what might've had happened to him that you wouldn't be surprised if your brain just conjured up an imaginary Harry, right here, to calm you down.
"Y/N!" He said back just as excitedly.
His arms wrapped around your body in a weird formation, pulling you close into him for a hug. He squeezed you tight, making sure you remembered that he was the best hug giver ever. You had claimed that before and you still stood by it. Even messy drunk Harry gave great hugs.
"What're you doing on the floor?" You chuckled, giving him a kiss to his forehead because you were happy he was here.
"Didn't want to wake you up."
"You wouldn't have baby. I was worried about you." You pouted, which made Harry pout.
"Didn't mean to worry you. Just didn't want to wake you up."
"Yeah, I know. Thank you." You kissed his forehead again.
His cheeks were tinged red and his curls were falling over his face in no particular order. He looked like a cinnamon roll and in fact he was. There'd even been some test to see what bakery product you are and Harry got the cinnamon roll. You were a bagel.
"You okay?" You asked, brushing some hair out of his face.
Getting more comfortable, you switched to sit on you bum instead, sitting by his feet so that you could face Harry. He took your hands in his and you held on tightly, knowing human touch would sober him up a bit.
"Sleepy." He rested his head back against the cabinets.
"We can't go to sleep yet, honey. We have to wait for you to sober up a bit more first, otherwise you're gonna hate the hangover tomorrow."
"But then you can take care of me." He smiled, liking it when you took care of him.
"I still will, but I'd rather just not have to deal with all the gross side effects from you. I can deal with headaches though."
"So you'll scratch m'head and make me a plate of 9 hash browns tomorrow?" He requested.
"9?" You laughed, thinking it such a random number.
"Exactly 9."
"Okay. Yes bubs. I will make you 9 hash browns and scratch y'head. Maybe we can even watch a couple of episodes of Killing Eve?" You suggested.
Recently, you and Harry had been miraculously getting free schedules that matched up. Instead of taking the advantage of this time to go on holidays or travel up and down the country, you had resulted to staying in bed all day and watch countless rounds of television whilst having endless rounds of sex. It was more perfect than any abroad trip you could both come up with. Being in each others company was more than enough for you both, especially in the comfort of your own bed.
"Sounds perfect." He smiled, eyes still dropping from the tiredness catching up with his body and brain.
"Y'want to get up and get ready for bed?" You asked.
"Not yet. Just wanna sit here and talk to y'for a bit more. It's like my favourite thing ever."

I’m sorry but Mat Smith isn’t good looking, he’s charismatic and a charmer for sure but he’s not handsome and the white wig makes it worse. Ryan Corr was on the show for 5 minutes max and Harry’s a teenager. Team Green has all the hot men and it really pisses them off 😂
I have a difficult relationship with Mat Smith. I think he is a VERY good actor but I never really found him particularly handsome either and something just doesn’t click to me with him as Daemon either.
Maybe it’s because he’s too young? He is in his early 40s when Daemon is supposed to be in his mid to late 50s which is a big change. And yeah, the white wig definitely makes it worse lmaooo

allie i've been trying to gather the courage to reread close behind honestly ever since i first read it in march last year but i've been too. emotionally distraught to actually do so but! i've literally thought about it probably twice each week. and now i'm finally actually almost over my ex so i should just bite the bullet but im SCARED bc the last time i cried for 5 hours
like i literally remember 2 am on a weekday in literally -2 C weather and i sat on my balcony, wrapped in a blanket, chain smoking and reading at the same time, tears streaming down my face. all this to say i long for that catharsis but i'm. scared
omg. anon!! first of all it's probably weird how happy this kind of message makes me lol, like yay, i left you emotionally ravaged!!! mission accomplished!!
second of all: just remember the happy ending! read the last chapter first, and keep it in your mind as you read the rest!! think about everything that could come after it, too, like:
harry and draco's first awkward af date in hogsmeade. ron, daphne, their kids, and scorpius all follow them in various disguises courtesy of george and they are very obvious but harry and draco are too into each other to notice.
draco never wears black again. for every date with harry, he wears a different set of brightly-colored, over-the-top robes.
he steals harry's colorful fair isle sweaters all the time, too.
oh and he gets a weasley sweater like, day one of his renewed relationship with harry. molly had actually been knitting him a bunch over the years but held them back because she didn't want to make things weird or upset harry, so there's a backlog to get through. some have a little dragon stitched on them and ron is super jealous.
their first holiday at the burrow? emotional, life-changing, beautiful, cathartic. harry weeps at least five times. ginny punches him for old time's sake.
speaking of, headmaster harry who holds regular office hours for all hogwarts students in case they ever need to talk to him about something. even if they just want to talk about socks.
(headmaster harry who gets all embarrassed whenever anyone calls him "the youngest hogwarts headmaster in a century")
terrifying new DADA professor hermione granger, who is distressingly unpopular amongst the students because they're all too intimidated by her and it takes her a while to learn how to deal with kids.
until she skips out on a hogsmeade weekend to scandalously elope with a much younger former department of mysteries intern and then she's just incredibly cool to them.
and listen. scorpius locks himself in his room when he finds out about harry and draco's past. he asks draco if he'd ever loved astoria and makes draco cry. draco teaches him that the heart is a universe and he doesn't have any regrets and a wonderful future doesn't invalidate a past he was truly happy in.
and then!! there's stepdad harry. my favorite thing. scorpius asks harry how he knew he was gay. harry gives scorpius the invisibility cloak and asks him to help perfect his disillusionment charm in return. scorpius asks harry to rig the house cup for slytherin as his birthday gift. harry refuses, even though draco thinks it's only fair.
harry and draco date, get engaged, get married in their 40s. they go back and forth between hogwarts and the hogsmeade cottage (which includes ron and daphne's fam like 70% of the time too; harry loves summers spent as part of the extended weasley-greengrass-malfoy-potter family). draco eventually retires from curse-breaking and becomes a nepo hire charms professor after scorpius graduates.
they really do live happily ever after, after all that. promise. 😌

I stopped following chats and reacts when they started celebrating Taylor dragging 18 year old Harry Styles. Thats when i knew critical thinking was impossible for them. Also, every single album podcast is just as bad and thats a man in his 40’s. When he hated Harry’s House because it was an album that didn't make a statement, but loved Midnight for that very reason, I knew Swifties are just delusional.

I’ve been in this fandom for some time, and I’ve just been curious about what the rest of you like to read, and I also think it’s a good chance to get to know you all better, if you’d like it…anyways, here are my own personal favourite ones!

(more specifically, one where they are both forced to work together to figure out what’s happened/survive etc…the main thing is that they join forces and become partners. sort of like an enemies to hesitant partners to companions to lovers)
unfortunately though, there aren’t that many fics for that, and/or they’re not easy to find or some across.

I’m acc still devastated 🥲

- amortenia. by which I mean in the context of being hogwarts students, and they’re sitting in potions class as partners to brew it, only they feel it’s not working, but actually it is, and tom just thinks it’s because he actually can’t love, and harry thinks it’s bc they somehow messed up the potion. they don’t notice the scent bc they’re partners and sitting right next to each other.

- time travel. this one has a lot of subtropes that I like, such as, harry, being a dunce, and accidentally time travelling back to the past (permanently is good, but also I like the one where he has to go back to his own time, and ends up taking tom w him, and the one where tom finds a way to travel to him into the future), going back to the past as a last resort during the war to prevent future events only to end up falling in love, time travelling harry and tom, in love, travelling together to confront voldemort from the future, harry travels and meets adult tom/fresh out of school tom, harry time travels and becomes defence professor in tom’s time, etc

whats ur fav album no skips and ur fav season and ur fav book u read as a child
album: this is such a good question omg. there's so many albums that i could choose bc i really do love listening to albums as they're intended to be listened to. i think my fav tho would have to be pink world by planet p project!! i've been listening to that album since i was a tiny little kid and i will never be over how amazing it is (it's also one of the first albums i ever got on [pink!!!] vinyl). if you get a chance, i highly recommend listening to it!!
season: i'm definitely going to have to go with season one of the oa. i've watched that no less than 15 times 💕💕💕 i even taught myself how to do all five movements at one point because i'd seen the show so many times. every day i cry and cry and CRY over the fact that show was canceled. i literally will never be over it. i've never loved a show more than i have that one.
fav book as a child: okay so this is going to sound cliche and dumb, but for real it was harry potter. i've read those books so so SO many times (i've read the fourth one somewhere around 40 times, but i lost count a few rereads ago; i'm not exaggerating). they were a huge coping mechanism for me growing up in an abusive household (obviously i've always heavily related to harry for that reason). obviously now we know they're Bad, but from 6-13 i wanted to be a wizard more than anything in the world.

1: What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?
john uskglass: can go uncannily still for hours on end when he's doing magic, like "you have to check if he's breathing" still, but absolutely starts fidgeting and losing temper after a minute in a "nothing to do" situation (or just leaves altogether, he's the king, duh)
william of lanchester: is actually pretty patient, can go couple hours of sitting in place like a normal person if he has to; the downside is if you leave him like this for too long he'll start overthinking and give himself brain damage
thomas of dundale: goes very still and quiet whenever he senses danger and can remain like this for a while, but otherwise will start pacing around/nudging people/being silly after like 10 minutes max
8: What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child
john: "STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP" / (by thomas) "hide!"
william: "stop slouching" / "speak louder"
thomas: "stop crying" / "be like your brother"
38: What memory do they revisit the most often?
john: not the one to reminisce i imagine, but i think upon his return to england he would initially be baffled by small displays of like. kindness? basic decency? on the part of humans and replay those moments in his head later. idk if the gentleman with the thistle-down hair is a representative case but i got the vibe that jsamn fairies generally are quite self-centered and don't care for others beyond their own benefit/entertainment (which would make faerie a pretty cutthroat place for a literal child, and also explain why trust and betrayal were such sensitive subjects for john in his adulthood), so i think it would take young john some time to grasp that sometimes people (ahem thomas and william ahem) are just nice to him/one another because they're capable of sympathy
william: nostalgic af!!! thomas was born in france in my hc, so that makes william the one person in their trio to actually feel emotionally attached to england as his home. i don't think there would be one definitive memory for him, but he totally would hold his childhood memories dear (esp the bittersweet ones, what with higher mortality rates in medieval times + the north still being quite a scarred place, i imagine, emotionally if not economically. i mean, the gap between 1111 and the harrying is just a few years longer than the gap between me and chornobyl)
thomas: probably avoids thinking about his pre-faerie childhood too often, though i like to think that he used to have a dog and loved it a lot. and then he avoids thinking about his time in faerie too bc there's just a lot of unpleasant stuff there. there must've been some exchange between teen thomas and baby john in faerie that solidified their friendship, maybe john using magic to protect him or telling thomas something his family never would have, like "why do you care so much what others think", something along those lines
40: How sensitive are they to their own flaws?
john: what "flaws" (ok actually i like to think that deep down he's aware that his family backstory is pretty shaky and is himself not 100% certain that it's true, but decides to stick with it nonetheless bc he's stubborn. i hc that part of the reason he took john uskglass sr.'s full name rather than keeping just the "uskglass" part and choosing his own first name is to kind of assert to himself as much as to everyone else that yes, he belongs in the human world, he's claiming the place of this other human dude who totally belonged here, see! but i also believe this anxiety is like, half-realized and he never actually properly thinks about it. he's perfect and the strongest and the smartest and goated with the sauce etc.)
william: VERY but it's mostly the flaws he's convinced himself that he has, not necessarily anything that bothers other people. his solution is to sulk about it in secret forever
thomas: eh. he's aware of them and doesn't think much of himself in general but he's mostly "it is what it is" about it. (i think a sensitive topic for him would be having nothing to call his own; i hc that he's not too keen about magic after all those years in faerie and that he cut ties with his family after they failed to accept him back, so somewhere across those 300 years he'd try to find his own Thing kind of sokka-style, but that's more of a predicament than a flaw)
D: Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?
yea i'm pretty much sticking with the first things that came to mind. like, things we know about william essentially boil down to 1 magician (= scholar); 2 can fill in for a king if need be; 3 has a moral compass but ultimately chooses fealty over it, so i just imagined a basic classic "introverted knight" type of dude, tall, dark, serious, nice beard, all that. thomas is kind of a contrast to him: younger, leaner, energetic, and a redhead for added fun; and john is. well. i'm a simple woman okay if i see a character i can bishounenify, i will xD
E: Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?
WELL john is a hard no, william is the one i'm projecting onto the most so i guess?? but we wouldn't necessarily hang out much; i think i'd have fun being around thomas but i doubt he'd find my company very interesting. that's all assuming i have something to talk about with medieval noblemen x)

I don’t know if this would have anything to do with your particular story and this is totally random but I firmly believe that if you sent Death Eaters into muggle London, not for destruction, but to simply see what would happen, they would all die within five minutes. Assuming they can navigate a crosswalk without getting hit by a bus immediately I don’t think they’d last very long. Severus would survive, he’d be fine. Voldemort would most likely be fine, having grown up in the muggle world. A lots changed since the 40’s but I’m sure he can avoid getting run over by a car.
And now I have the image of Harriet trying to herd a bunch of confused purebloods in muggle London. Just this annoyed teenage girl with a bunch of grown men on child leashes.
Omg, that'd be hilarious, anon. I think Regulus used to be the Muggle-guide since he grew up in London. Of course, I think Snape is now that Muggle guide. Voldemort is the best at navigating London — he knows EVERYTHING because he wondered around it all the time.
Harry really would have to put extension cords around their wrists or waists. 🤣🤣
