It's really disappointing when someone you know decides they're still going to throw money at J KKK Rowling. Like seriously what does this woman have to do?

Like it was about the new Harry Potter Legacy game.

I explained that the plot is really antisemitic, because it's about stopping the Goblin uprising who are very heavily coded as Jewish. (I fucking love Goblins in mythology and other media BTW, they often look and act very different to JK's Goblins so it's not like that was influenced from mythology. It's all her.).

When people say it's about "separating the art from the artist" or "Harry Potter is so much bigger than she is now". I want to claw my eyes out. Like this would only be a valid argument to enjoy the stuff you already own, not buy new stuff. Give her more money. Even the film stars from the original series don't want anything to do with her anymore.

I really used to love Harry Potter, now I just can't. Like I get there could be a sense of nostalgia, but we need to stop giving her money, and a platform. I'm not saying throw out your stuff if it's got childhood memories for you, but maybe stop buying new stuff??

You have a literal slave in the game too.

This is on top of her transphobia, and ablelism... And the fact she really does seem to end up in the company of other extremely dodgy characters.
