After the special screening of Sonam Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding, it was time for Bollywood to watch her brother Harshvardhan Kapoor’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. Harshvardhan Kapoor’s superhero flick has been garnering praises all over since the release of the trailer. Helmed by the very talented Vikramaditya Motwane, people obviously have really high expectations from the film and anyway, a successful superhero movie is long overdue in Bollywood. 

The special screening of the film was held last night and needless to say, it was a star-studded affair. Celebs who graced the special screening included Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, Malavika Mohanan, Sanya Malhotra, Akshay Oberoi, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, Sikander Kher, Punit Malhotra, Zoya Akhtar, Javed Akhtar, David Dhawan, Rhea Chakraborty, Mohit Marwah with his wife Antra Motiwala, Shashank Khaitan, Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Adar Jain and obviously, Harshvardhan himself. 

Harshvardhan’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero has released today along with his sister Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding. While most stars try to avoid a clash with any film, Harshvardhan Kapoor is embracing the competition. In an interview with a leading daily, when Harshvardhan was asked about the clash, he said, “The films belong to two completely different worlds. It’s a great date for both of them because it’s the first weekend after the end of the country’s biggest cricketing league. The other big releases will have filtered out by then too. Sonam, Rhea, dad (Anil Kapoor) and I are thrilled about the simultaneous releases because June 1 will be a day of celebration. We are not looking at it as a clash, it’s a great opportunity. With dad, Arjun (Kapoor, cousin), Jahnvi (Kapoor, cousin) and many other siblings working round-the-clock at the movies, there are bound to be more overlaps in the future.”
