I think because I characterize Death very differently than the rest of the fandom, I have a hard time categorizing the way I view post-tlw death/puss stuff as actual shipping. But I am down with the idea of Death having a sort of... fascination with the cat post-film that manifests as little signs of his presence, that eventually Puss catches on to and gives little acknowledgements back. Like, a bird falling out of the sky suddenly and landing dead at Puss's feet, or freshly picked flowers wilting rapidly overnight, or whistles barely heard on the wind. Once he realizes what these signs are (and that they're not omens or threats) he just sort of tips his hat and mutters a friendly response when he's alone. In that way they end up building a quiet familiarity with each other that persists until their true final meeting.

knowing/learning multiple languages is fun until you are unable to write a paper without three different dictionaries open because you have to filter every thought through 4+ languages, until you start mixing words from different languages into a normal conversation and draw a total blank trying to correct it, until you notice keeping up with all those languages is impossible because concentrating on one means neglecting another and AHHHH 🗣️🗣️

and then when ruby learned about the existence of a milotic, he knew he wanted one so bad (its so pretty to him) so he went to try fishing for it (but little did he know an ugly feebas is what it takes to have a beautiful milotic) AND HE HATED THE FEEBAS but it joined his team anyways 💀

i have found i have a somewhat subconscious personal symbology that appears in all of my artwork and i often wonder how much others have the same. A seemingly random reocurring symbol in my work can hold a long history of thoughts and feelings, that i never express in words, but it is there in my art. i tag things as "misc" as in "there is no named character here, not yet at least" but inside of these conceptual pictures is pieces of myself and my life, regardless

this is to say, i don't often draw things for no reason. sometimes the reason is silly! but i think everything has meaning :-)
