TRANSFORMATION
Kerényi (1948) states that a mask ‘penetrates’ down into its wearer’s very soul
Rudlin (1994), for instance, writes of ‘a possessing spirit’ arriving through the mask which hasneeds of its own, such as wanting to be kept on ratherthan returned to the ‘limbo of suspended animation’
Honigman (1977) writes: ‘human individuality is felt to be centred in the face’, and that ‘the face constitutes an anchoragepoint of identity, especially personal identity’ (p.277)
Ottenberg (1975) also challenges the notion of a direct causal relationship from mask-wearing to transformation.He states that ‘if one puts on a certain type of mask,one is not usually expected to wear a certain form of costume and behave in certain ways; rather, if one wishes to act in a particular way, then a specific costume andmask are appropriate’ (1975, p.12)
The first of these hypothesised effects is that the mask disinhibits its wearer, the second that it transforms its wearer, the third that it facilitates the expression of aspects of the wearer’s Self, and the fourth that it brings about various psycho-somatic changes in thewearer’s state of being.

Lockdown ke chalte aap pehle se toottey ja rahe ho, mentally, financially & emotionally.. aur isi wajah se aise muskhil waqt mein aap ka dimaag kaam karna band hojaata hai aur aap sahi faisle le nahi paatey.. faisle delay ho jaatey hai.. aur jab nakami haath lagti hai sivay afsos karne ke aapke pass kuch nahi bachta, kaash ke hamare family physician quarantine mein nahi hote aur do din pehle Amma ko ghar par hi dekh jaate, har koi bebas hai, har koi lachar, lachari is kadar hai poocho maat..Covid ka khauf itna hai ki normal patients ko bhi poochne wala koi nahi hai.. Allah ke karam se Main aur meri biwi tho paunch gaye Vasai, lekin aur koi nahi paunch paya.. Bahut bahut Shukriya, jo logon ne puri tarah se hamare parivar ke saath bane rahe aur khas kar un anjaan acche insaano ka jinhone hamara saath diya aur hamare parivar ki madad ki.
