Y'all I think Hataraku Saibou (along with its many spinoffs) should be considered an actual valid piece of literature for anatomical study. Med schools don't know what they are missing pls listen to what I say

i guess cells at work became one of my hyper-fixations???? maybe???? idk, maybe just a bit
well, anyway, I drew my OC in this universe and she's a rookie white blood cell. She's kinda chaotic, but has a good heart and takes her job seriously (although you can see her procrastinating with AC1677 sometimes lol)
also she gets lost very easily, just like AE3803. U-1825 is just a silly cell, don't judge her
and she has a crush on AA2153 (OMG JUST LIKE ME FR)
This girl is basically me but she's a cell lmao

If you think working is more important than resting...
Watch the 2 seasons of Cells at Work then switch to its spinoff Black.

Ngl I kinda miss these two.
They're personally my favorites and it's honestly such a shame that there really isn't going to be anything more about them cause they're side characters. Who don't have names
(I gave them names for some reason)

I still want to know why the Neutrophils are the only cells that look physically different from every other cell; they're significantly paler, all have near pure white hair, and dark eyes. All the other cells are just given special outfits to show what job they have, you could easily have Dendritic cell and Helper T cell wear RBC outfits and they'd look like any other RBC. But if you put a Neutrophil in a RBC outfit they'd look out of place
The only other cell that comes close to how the Neutrophils look are the Macrophages, they all have pretty light colored hair and fairer skin.
but even still there are hair color variations between the Macrophages. some have more brownish light brown hair, some have more blondish hair, etc.
compare that to the Neutrophils who are all 50 shades of white.
like what happens to them from the time that they're stem cells to when they're Myelocytes.
All the cells come from the same stem cell and are separated based on which cell's the body needs right. Or whichever cells the Hematopoietic stem cells feel like that day.
So I'll ask again what is the transition from stem cell to Myelocyte? not even Myeloblast because Eosinophil and Basophil aren't pure white cells.
Like do these cells bleach the Myelocytes or what?
