Was doing a rewatch a little while back, and a random idea came to me during the scene where CYN puts N in the torture chair and picks up his severed head with one of the tentacles.
Behold the creature
Tumblr media
Course, that brings up the question. How did he end up like that?
What I currently have in mind, is that after the gala incident, rather than destroy Earth and make the murder drones. CYN instead just hunkered down in the Elliot manor, giving N and J mutations, like what happened with V. She tries to keep things running similar to how they did before, only with Tessa being "in charge" instead of her parents. Creating a haunted house of sorts.

“Hey,” a voice says, startling Mike and earning him a glare from his makeup artist, “you’re Mike, right?”
The voice belongs to a guy who he presumes is his new scare partner – Will, according to the manager – and somehow, despite his eccentric costume makeup and the ridiculous doll outfit he’s wearing (Mike is wearing a matching one, but he chooses not to acknowledge that), he is very attractive.
Apparently, the manager decided to quell his complaints of having a slacker of a coworker by replacing him with an incredibly attractive coworker instead.
Seriously, how do they expect him to work in these conditions?

Mike Wheeler and the horrifying ordeal of having an attractive coworker.

waiting for a haunted house au where regulus, evan, barty, pandora, and dorcas work for one and sirius, wanting to support his brother but also fucking hates haunted houses decide to go and makes his friends come with
and barty and evan target peter and make his life a living hell and dorcas and pandora don't have to do much to scare sirius because he's cowardly hiding behind remus who just looks extremely bored and every time sirius asks him why they came remus gently reminds him they're here to support regulus and his weird job
and then there's james, the one who volunteered to be in the back of the line and keeps getting more cornered and jumped by other actors and regulus finally sees his boyfriend and grabs his wrist and shoves him against a wall and james screams and is literally begging to be let go and regulus whispers in his ear "scared, potter?" and james is like "REGULUS??? WHAT YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME" and regulus being like "wait sorry were you actually scared i thought you knew it was me" and james being like "IT'S KINDA HARD NOT TO BE SCARED WHEN I HAVE THIS DEMONIC SERIAL KILLER WEIRDO SHOVING ME AGAINST A WALL SO YEAH YOU ACTUALLY SCARED ME" and regulus being apologetic and kisses him and sends him on his way and james finally catches up with the group and sirius is like ?? where the hell have you been and james being like ahhh sorry kept getting harassed you know haha and sirius shrugging it off because he just wants to get the fuck out of there but remus is staring at james and motioning him to wipe his mouth because there's black make up around his lips

newsies ghost/haunted house au?
Note: aaaaaa this was so much fun to write!!!!! Hope you enjoy this, and thank you for your patience in waiting for me to get it done!
(TW for mentions of murder and ghosts)
“Um, Jack? I'm not so sure about this…”
Davey’s worried voice rang out in the darkness behind Jack as the latter worked to unscrew the boards on the window, and Jack rolled his eyes at the waver in his boyfriend’s tone. “Aw, c’mon, Dave,” he complained, turning to frown at Davey. “You ain’t chickening out now, are you?”
“No, I’m not.” Davey’s face was barely visible in the night, but Jack could clearly see the glare that he was sending his way. Jack returned to his work, wedging a screwdriver behind the board and popping it loose. Davey jumped and grimaced at the loud noise it made hitting the ground, sure that someone else had heard the ruckus, but Jack seemed unbothered. He left the rotting board where it fell, grinning in triumph as the others easily came away and he could hoist open the window. He ignored Davey’s final noise of protest as he waved behind him, his voice shaky with excitement.
“Then let’s go in.” Jack stepped through the opening in the window and let out a small gasp of astonishment as he took in the sight of the building. Taking a deep breath, Davey swallowed his nerves before following him in, glancing about at the shadows that seemed to stem from the walls, shrouding both the boys in nearly absolute darkness.
Jack let out a low whistle at the sight of the dilapidated room they were in- from the looks of it, an old bedroom, with the stench of trash and rotting wood permeating the air. Faded pink wallpaper peeled off the walls and onto the ground, barely covering discarded toys and messy drawings. The remnants of what the room used to be felt like a ghost in itself, and a shiver went up Davey’s spine.
He stepped over what seemed to be an old doll as Jack pulled a small device out of his pocket, setting it on the ground and angling it towards the corner farthest from them.
“I’ve heard stories about this house,” Davey said, his voice echoing. Jack nodded absently, focused on pressing various buttons on the small, cell phone-like machine he possessed.
According to the ghost-hunting website Davey had visited, a family of four had been murdered here nearly twenty years ago, killed in a house robbery gone wrong by a frantic criminal afraid of being caught. The house was left abandoned after that, and the ghosts of the murdered family were said to haunt its rooms, unable to move on from the unfair circumstances in which they were killed.
The story intrigued Jack to no end, and he’d asked Davey to come with him to investigate, citing Davey’s newfound knowledge of the case as something imperative to his mission. Reluctant, but knowing that Jack had longed so badly to go, Davey had agreed- a decision that he was now regretting with all his might.
“Turn on your flashlight, Dave,” Jack instructed, and the click of the light turning on soon followed, the room illuminated in a sharp white glow. Jack continued working, his brow furrowed in concentration as he fiddled with the device, working until a small beep sounded and he sat back with a smile.
“We’ve got a signal,” he announced, excited. Davey sat down next to him on the ground, grinning back, happy to see his boyfriend so invested in this excursion.
“So… now we just wait?”
“We do.” Jack took the light from Davey and shined it around the room, wrapping an arm around his boyfriend as he did so. “If there’s anyone here, that little thing’s gonna go off, and we can try to talk to ‘em, maybe figure out-“
Click. Davey jumped and Jack stopped talking as the flashlight went out, plunging the room into absolute darkness. Davey’s heart was nearly beating out of his chest, and his voice was shaky as he whispered, “What just happened?”
“It’s probably the batteries.” Jack seemed unsure, but he flipped open the battery compartment on the flashlight, squinting to try and see what was wrong. “Don’t worry, Dave, there ain’t nothin’ wrong.”
Don’t be so sure about that, Davey thought to himself, his mouth suddenly dry. What the hell is going on?
As Jack worked to turn the flashlight back on, Davey picked up the sensor in front of them, using the dim light to give Jack an idea of what he was looking at. The sensor itself had text scrolling across the screen, all-capital letters flashing urgently in a dangerous red.
Spirit detected. Spirit detected. Spirit detected.
“What the fuck?” Davey whispered, his fear getting the better of him. “Jack, it says there’s something here.”
Jack took the sensor from him, his eyes darting around frantically. “Let’s just go,” he decided, clutching the flashlight and sensor to his chest. “It sure doesn’t want us breaking into its house, whatever it is.”
That sounded good enough for Davey. As Jack helped him to his feet and led him through the darkness, Davey took one last look behind him, at the little girl’s bedroom they’d set up in, and another shiver went up his spine. Maybe they don’t want any more intruders, he thought to himself, and a wave of sadness came over him as the two stepped out onto the ground and began to walk away.
“Sorry for the visit,” he whispered into the empty air. “Rest in peace.”
He really needed to stop going along with Jack’s ideas.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! ITS HALLOWEEN! THAT MEANS ITS TIME FOR A HAUNTED AU BECAUSE WHY NOT? :D I've been working on this for literal MONTHS because procrastination and writers block is a biiitch
The Act of Making Noise (i)
Words: 2427
TW: Swearing, Slight panic
—–—–—
“Techno, why are they so tall?” Tommy asked, leaning against the wall beside the hole the two of them used as a doorway. Near him, still inside the tunnels they’d made, was his brother, grunting and mumbling things  to himself as he pushed a glass bottle through the last little bit of the corridor.
Techno huffed, in amusement. “They’re humans, Tommy. They’re tall. What did you expect?”
Tommy shrugged. While he’d never encountered a human nearing anywhere his size, he still had enough experience with them to understand that, typically, they were much shorter than the two that chatted incoherently in the living quarters the home had to offer. The blond folded his arms.
“Of course they’re humans, I’m not fucking stupid. They’re taller than they should be.” Tommy pondered on what to say for just a moment, eyes scanning all over the home for a useful comparison. “You see that window?” He pointed to it, despite knowing full-well that his brother’s attention was on everything but him. “Well, usually, they don’t go very far above that little…bar in the middle of it. They’re nearly to the top of the window, though. Something is wrong with them.”
Techno let out a sharp exhale as he let go of the breath he’d held while pushing the glass onto the counter. The pinket looked at him, a faux look of interest all over his face. “You.. you found an alien, Tommy.”
Tommy folded his arms, “I'm just saying,”
His brother huffed again, turning his attention back to the bottle. “Are you helping me with this?” He motioned to the glass that easily tripled his size. Tommy stared it up and down, eyes flicking back-and-forth from the humans to the bottle.
“Is that really a good idea?” Tommy questioned after a small moment.
Techno’s face fell, eyes glaring into his own. He snickered, trying to stay quiet. To be fair, he still was on the fence about it. While it seemed like a good idea and was often their go-to in situations like this, there was something off about the humans. Not the height or their appearance, but something Tommy couldn’t quite place. They looked so calm in a place that humans typically found unsettling. Between the quiet, brief fits of laughter and the subtle smiles on their face, nothing there looked like it usually did. And he found that a bit discomforting, even if his brother doesn’t.
He watched through the corner of his eye as Techno shrugged to himself and returned to the bottle, leaving Tommy’s unsaid response in the dust as he prepared to continue on the job independently. He shifted his weight to his feet and joined the pinket, allowing Techno to make room for him before he placed his hands on the glass and applied little pressure while the two of them took small steps forward. “Won’t they see this?” Tommy spoke up, quieter now.
“Humans aren’t that observant.”
“If I saw a glass bottle fucking wiggling around on the counter, I would notice it,” he tried to defend himself.
“Tommy, that's why you’re a borrower, not a human.”
Tommy rolled his eyes, once again fucking defeated. He murmured to himself, reassuring his pissed off mind that he was right and they’d be caught any minute. Don’t get him wrong, he did agree with Techno that humans were more than dumb when it came to using their senses, but again, that feeling in his chest told him that the humans the two of them are currently dealing with aren’t like the typical cocky teenagers they get. But, he knew there  wasn’t room for argument when it came to his brother, so he kept his mouth shut.
Eventually, after a few moments of nearly stumbling over his own feet, they reached the edge.
This was the hardest part.
Not the final push, that was easy, but the run back to the walls. The bottle didn’t take a while to fall, if anything by the time they began to make their journey back to safety, the glass would’ve already shattered and caught the humans’ attention. Usually they were pretty good at hiding.  But those were the days where the trespassers were spread out around the house, and didn’t have the same relaxed bodies like the current ones did. He assumed it would be easy for Techno, seeing as he’s older than him and has much better stamina than him, but Tommy doesn’t know if he’ll make it without tripping.
Soon, before Tommy could form a proper plan and discuss his worries with Techno, his hands were no longer touching the cold material. Tommy wasted no time in leaving. Panic flooded throughout him as he took the lead easily, focussing far too hard on keeping his footing steady as he ran along the old counter. He approached the hole in the wall too slowly for his liking, still only a little bit over half-way when the bottle shattered on the ground. Shit. He added another tone he didn’t know he had to his speed, and found himself nearly sliding into the hole. His feet slid on the dusty surface, but he still huffed in relief of now being hidden away in the shadows. He panted, now slowing his movements down while he stepped aside, away from the opening. He watched as Techno came in after him, however at a much more calm speed. “You’re faster than me, that’s an improvement.”
“You didn’t give me a fucking warning,” Tommy complained, now holding a hand to his chest as it heaved, harsh inhales and exhales traveling through his lungs.
“Are you still scared of humans, loser?”
“No,” Tommy scoffed.
Techno looked like he wanted to say something, but he shut up when he noticed the new arrival of the humans.
The tall duo still held that awful smile, just adding to his theory. Tommy watched the two of them crouch and go almost out of view. The only thing visible was the very top of their heads, where similarly-colored hair lay atop. He swallowed, attempting to try and listen in on the conversation. But, it was pretty damn hard to do that when his heart was pounding in his ears.
Tommy frowned, standing. No use in watching them if he couldn’t hear them, it would just pile frustration onto him. So, he walked past Techno and set off down the dark tunnel only slightly luminated at the end, where their makeshift home was.
The place itself was much more modern and clean than the rest of the house, but it still was small. It was a given, since they decided to dedicate most of their storage to different types of empty bottles and other fragile objects. Tommy noticed as he entered the main body of their home that they were running low on their stock of said bottles. A few of them rested in the corner, but not enough to last for more than two parties, if that.
The blond huffed as he sat on his bed, the almost-stiff “mattress” under him failing to act like a real one, instead making the dramatic fall almost uncomfortable. He has to admit that, even if he enjoys the so-called “easy life of a borrower”, he still hates the fact that their living conditions are so shitty. It would be much easier to live a life they had now, but in a home occupied with a human. Then maybe his life wouldn’t be so miserable when he overthinks it. But, then again, if they lived with a human, then he wouldn’t be able to have that freedom the two of them crave. But, then again–
“They left,” Techno announced, somewhat of a smile on his face. Tommy returned the expression, though his was more genuine and far more visible. The blond shifted to the side so his brother could take a seat next to him.
“Are you sure? They didn’t look scared.”
“I watched them walk out the door. Unless they climb back in through the window upstairs, they’re gone, Tommy.”
“They were weird, Techno. I thought you were supposed to be ‘observant’ or some shit.”
“Weird or not, they are gone.”
Gone. They were everything but gone. The evening came and went, and by the time Techno was finally stirring with the sun, Tommy had already been awake for two hours to watch the humans. They arrived at an oddly early hour, with mounds of equipment that Tommy couldn’t name. Something was wrong, and he was right about that. And he thought Techno was supposed to be the more put-together and “smart” one. That’s total bullshit.
Tommy hadn’t moved. He just sat in the shadows, right in front of the opening, studying every little thing the duo did. One thing that made Tommy disappointed and doubtful was the sheer amount of stuff they had. Under normal circumstances, humans usually only had a little backpack, if that – usually they had nothing.
But even after they’d discarded the overly-packed backpacks and multiple other things Tommy didn’t recognize, they still had equipment all over themselves. The one thing Tommy could recognize was a flashlight, something he’d seen the humans have more than once. And if he’s not mistaken, they’ve also set up many cameras around the home, which just added to the uncomfortably tight feeling in his chest. While he watches, he wonders what Techno would say. Tommy had been right this entire fucking time and Techno just had to be the “correct” one and not even stop to think for a second that sometimes Tommy can be exceptionally bright despite being the younger and the more unorganized one in their lonely duo.
Small footsteps broke his train of thought and he looked up and to the side, where he could just barely make out the outline of Techno, who’s long hair was frizzled and made his appearance a small bit frightening. “They’re back, Tech,” Tommy said aloud, sounding a mix of unimpressed and cocky.
“What?” Techno asked, his pace quickening as his brother rushed to the small opening in the wall. Tommy watched with a gentle smirk as Techno’s expression shifted into something of shock, where his eyes widened and his mouth went agape, like he was rethinking everything he’s ever said.
“See, you should listen to me. And, and, they’ve got fucking cameras everywhere. Look at the bags by the window, Techno! I don’t think they’re leaving anytime soon,”
The man looked defeated. And, Tommy didn't expect him to do this, but he nodded. “..you’re right,” Techno admitted, and the blond scoffed. “Of course I’m right! I told you from the beginning that–”
“Now is not the time to argue about–”
The two of them paused when eyes landed right by them. Logically they were safe within the shadows but they still stumbled back behind the walls. “What the fuck, could they see us, Techno?” Tommy huffed, struggling to find his brother in the dark. “No,” Techno said, but he sounded unsure of himself, like he was just saying it to make himself feel better.
Tommy tried to calm himself, knowing that even if the two humans had seen them, they wouldn't jump straight to the conclusion of a borrower, they’d start smaller. A mouse or a rat would be just as plausible.
“Can we go?” Tommy asks.
“I think we have to. To get a better plan.”
Tommy nodded and stood up, straining his eyes so he could make sure Techno did the same. They set off down the hall again.
Actually visiting a house was fairly common, but returning a second time just a day after was a bit less frequent than they’d like to admit. Everything in a supposedly ‘haunted’ house intrigued both Wilbur and Ranboo, especially when they both agreed that something may be there, but their more advanced  equipment didn't typically make an appearance unless they were certain that something was there. And, after the events with the bottle, multiple apparitions appearing in photos they took around the house, and the uneasy feeling around the entire home that the two of them both noticed, was definitely enough to make them suspicious. Not completely convinced, not yet, but pretty damn close.
“Here, set that there, and– yeah,” Wilbur instructed, watching as Ranboo set up one of the many cameras they had. The shorter of the two was working on a motion sensing device, one of two that they had. A lot of people they came across said that they might be a bit over-equipped, but seeing as this was just for fun, they had no problem with going all out. Besides, more is usually better.
“Ranboo?” Wilbur asked as he leaned over to get a new device from his bag. He pulled out random shit he packed while looking for something easy to set up. “Yep?”
“You know the bottle, from yesterday?” He pulled another camera out, however this one detected skeleton-like objects that stood in front of it. This was one that rarely displayed anything other than real humans, which was a little disappointing to them. But, then again, he couldn't really say that some of the other stuff they got didn't make up for a possibly-faulty piece of equipment.
“I'd be concerned if I didn’t remember it. I mean, my memory is bad but not that bad. Why do you ask?”
Wilbur laughed, “I don’t know, I was just wondering if we could put something up there. Maybe another bottle, or a can, or something for this thing to move.”
Through the corner of his eye, he saw Ranboo’s head go in the direction of the kitchen, which was just across the house. Wilbur followed his gaze, staring at it. “It's worth a try, but do we have a bottle?”
Wilbur shrugged. Just as he did, movement from under him caught his attention. He looked down at the camera, hope sparking. “Ranboo, Ranboo, come here,” Wilbur gestured excitedly for his friend to join his side. He heard Ranboo set something down then shuffle his way. “What the hell? It works?”
On the screen, small green bars and white dots built up to create a perfect figure, however nothing was actually there. “I–I guess–” Wilbur exhaled, eyes wide and alert. There was a high grin on his face as he continued to study the unexistent figure. It moved just barely, the skeleton-like outline’s arm moved like it was waving. The duo were at a comical loss of words as they were both amazed and humored at the action.

I just remembered that I have an “AU” where Hiro, Chihiro, Mondo, Leon and Ishimaru went to a haunted house (which it was HUGE and it was run by Junko) and the only survivors left were Hiro and Mondo. I thought of it like a game of some sort.
(the only reason why those Two lived was because of favoritism lmao)

Waylon loved to be scared. He loved the rush of excitement that coursed through his body at each little jump and shriek that always lined up so well in decently made haunted houses.
He loved to be scared. But he wasn't ready for the external scare actors, the ones sent out to pump up a crowd and get people shaken before even crossing the threshold.
The man was built, 7 feet tall and full of muscle. He was scary in his own right, but then add in the ease of which he moved, the way sparks flew from his metal pieces as he slid by just to scare Waylon. And well, it was too much.
Waylon fainted and dropped like a stone, Eddie caught him from below. But dammit, people weren't supposed to faint! Not like this.

aus? any aus u wanna talk abt? pls share I’m 👀✨
Thanks so much for asking!!! 💖
Ok so i got a bunch but lately I've seen many victorian au and i keep thinking about my haunted house AU (also called "no childrens playing in the background") that begin in the Victorian era.
So the plot is simple:
Gerard Keay is an exorcist, as a kid used to be haunted by his dad's ghost that tried to protect him from Mary who was also an exorcist.
One day he take a call from the two new owners of a big Mansion in Bournemouth (Georgie and Melanie my beloveds) they buy the property because was stupidly cheap and they knew that was supposedly haunted but because they work with supernatural (allegedly) thought that could manage some creepy noises.
Well they don't.
So Melanie calls gerry.
And now Gerry has the unpleasant task of resolve centuries of petty romantic drama and misunderstandings.
(Fell in love with the most grumpy, annoying, infuriating ghost wasn't contemplated in the bill)
Yeah is a jongerry (tho i keep thinking about make it jgm because the jonmartin history of origin is too tragic to end separate)
Featuring:
• Ghosts helping Helen to commit insurance/tax fraud
• Martin being a bitch™
• Agnes as a little girl causing mayhem
• oliver just wanting a nap
• Jon playing music in the attic in the most sad and pathetic way possible
• An exploration of the concept of "haunting"
Is it the ghosts haunting this house or is the resentment and the unbereable sadness of lost opportunities and regret?
• second chances
• werewolves (maybe)
• many divorces (but not the lonelyeyes type)
I specifically want to study jon and martin under a microscope because their relationship could have been better and happy, maybe they could had childrens and grow old together...
But there was so many unsaid things, so many misunderstandings that turn their arranged marriage in something awful.
So haha yes, i'm running late and i just watch the hour but if you wanted i got a bunch of lore about what happened to jon and martin when they're alive and how the marriage become "hand on unlovable hand"

Hannigram AU: Haunted
Twenty year old Will gets dragged to a haunted house with his friend Bev just a few weeks before Halloween. He’s never been into haunted houses, not really even into scary movies, but Bev just broke up with her girlfriend & loves scary stuff so he goes.
It’s standard bullshit scares - fake dead bodies, screaming witches, and even a man with a fake chainsaw who chases you.
That is until you get to The Doctor.
Near the middle, behind glass, lights come on and someone is strapped to a table while a man wearing a doctor’s coat leans over cutting into them while they scream. Bev yells, and the man turns to show his face is painted likes skeleton and he’s wearing a suit.
His face and hands have fake blood on them as he smiles.
And Will…is never the same.
He goes with Bev again, multiple times, and every time he sees The Doctor the more he finds himself mesmerized.
“I think you’ve got a crush.”
Will blushes. “No, I don’t.”
“Sure.”
He even starts to go back by himself, rushing through the haunted house to get to The Doctor and is disappointed when one night the lights don’t go on. Will sighs.
“Damn.”
“Is there something wrong?”
Will turns and there standing beside him is The Doctor.
“I…”
He holds out his hand.
“Were you looking for me?”
Will takes the offered hand and blushes. “No.”
The Doctor takes his hand and kisses it looking up through his lashes.
“No?”
Will licks his lips. “Maybe.”
The Doctor smiles. “Hannibal Lecter.”
“Will Graham.”
Hannibal puts his hand over Will’s. “It’s nice to see you again, Will.”
“I…you too.”
“Enjoy the show.”
Will can’t help but be disappointed and he fakes a smile before taking off barely registering the rest of the haunted house. He gets to the end, steps outside, and pulls out his phone to complain to Bev.
“Hello Will.”
He turns and there is Hannibal leaning against the outside fence.
“Hi,” Will says, “I didn’t think I’d see you again tonight.”
“My portion of the show is malfunctioning so I’m free early this evening. I wanted to get a breath before I headed home.”
“Oh, I—“
“Would you like to get a drink with me?”
Will blinks. “I’m, um…ok?”
Hannibal smiles. “Excellent,” he says, pointing, “My vehicle is there, the black one. If you’d like to follow that’s fine but I can drive you back here as well.”
Will shakes his head.
“I’d…I think I’d prefer to follow you. For all I know you’re gonna drag me somewhere and chop me up into little pieces.”
Hannibal takes his hand and kisses it, just like he did inside. “No,” he says, “That would be such a waste. I’d much prefer to keep you alive….for now.”
He winks and Will laughs.
“Lucky me.”
“Yes,” Hannibal says, looking him up and down as his smile widens, “Lucky you.”

Inspired by an Instagram post that was a repost of a tumblr post by @thecw4kids:
Ghost in the house: GET OUT. I WILL TAKE YOU-
Real estate agent: chill, it’s me.
Ghost: oh hey. Have you sold the house yet?
Real estate agent: obviously NOT, idiot.
Steddie au where Eddie is a ghost and Steve is the real estate agent trying to sell the house he’s haunting. They’re super chill with each other because Eddie likes having people in the house to scare and Steve gets people in the house.
Maybe Steve gets the Party or Robin to buy the house, and Eddie just CANNOT scare them, and Eddie and Steve have to strategize together how to scare them out of the house, but then they end up teaming up at the end.
Idk, I think it sounds fun and silly.

Hey it's been a while since I posted art or in general. So I offer this art for another one of my aus
Tumblr media
The characters here are Flynn, Dallas and Nova who belongs to @burnt-pheonix. As for the being above Flynn... you'll just have to wait and see.
This au is something I made with @burnt-pheonix and does contain some of their sillies.
Story under the cut if you're interested
Basically, the twins move into an old house with their father. The house had a long history of deaths. Flynn strongly believes it's haunted and tries to convince Dallas, who doesn't believe in ghosts. Nonetheless, he plays along and accompanies her in her investigations. Nova who is a close friend of the twins joins them, recording the events in a ghost hunting style.
What Dallas and Nova don't know is that Flynn can see spirits and has been communicating with the original owner of the house, a young man who simply missed his lover after they passed. He's a bit standoffish towards the Curtis family, wishing they would not disturb his house, but allows Flynn to conduct her investigations on all the events that had taken place. He aids her when he can, providing history on the house. But neither of them are aware of the other two entities residing in the house.
Totally isn't inspired by Shane and Ryan, not at all
Also, the blood and blue around Dallas totally isn't lore... neither is the pink on the flower
