My favorite blanket very cozy and can tolerate me sleeping in the weirdest ass positions and stretching it out all over the place without getting horrifically disfigured 💀
This time I did a geeky little unboxing on my personal tik tok, ft an out of cosplay mun face reveal!
I really love the Tokyo bride merch because it’s a form of mansion merchandise that still sticks to the cute and hyperfeminine aesthetic I stick to in my daily life. A lot of mansion merch is often a little too dark for the aesthetic of my clothes or room so the pastel, flowy, and generally lovely vibes of Tokyo’s bride merch is very welcome to me! (Hence why I hoard it and have 3 more pieces of it on the way, I nearly have the whole set)
I was especially excited as these pieces (especially the pendant!) have been super hard to hunt down for a reasonable price!

Looks like they took inspiration from both the original beating heart bride and Constance Hatchaway (though it definitely looks more like Constance). It would be so cool if they did a doll for the tightrope walker as well!
Ok guys but with all the canons and Haunted Mansion adaptations, all the different designs Hattie had since his conception and all the different personalities he has from them and different relationships with the characters. And thr success of the Spiderverse
Get your wallets out folks! As part of a larger Haunted mansion collection releasing July 10th, we’re getting an limited edition Constance Hatchaway doll!!!!
No word on how many were produced or pricing. We’ll be finding out upon release.
I’ve made a small rant on some of my initial posts with all my trip photos but here’s going to be a much more organized one.
Diluted goods
I have vivid memories back when I was a child of the store being chocked full of everything you could possibly imagine. A massive section of plushies, mugs, collectible toys and it just kept going. It had everything. Generic to parks specific! You could pick up something from Frontierland you missed on your way out, you could get a Minnie doll and things you hadn’t seen anywhere else!
On my last trip it had… the same few things every other gift shop carried. Three or four collections , a small wall of stuffed animals and a huge amount of munchlings. They didn’t even have generic Disney items- the very basic Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse plush just was not there. It was the same 10 stuffed animals of everywhere else. This huge section of the store I remember so vividly was reduced to a small wall.
There wasn’t all that much Disney world stuff even! Or new Disney 100 or pride just more of the same few things every store had.
Am I misremembering
Am I just letting nostalgia clog my Brain? I remember even just a few years ago while there was some repeating items around most stores would have more unique items. Epcot would have stuff for Epcot, Hollywood studios for Hollywood! Each store this trip rarely had a thing related to their park or attractions- they rarely even had generic Disney just the same 4 merch lines. I feel like I’m going insane. Even the hotels had the same thing. Some gift shops are like that, yes, but others for spesific attractions… you would think. The only few on the top of my head that had things related to their ride was
- Flight of passage
- Expedition Everest
- Tron
- Haunted mansion
Theming-
Like all things this trip the emporium got a nice clean up and update and the shop’s straight down Main Street are just as themed as ever. I’ve always appreciated that. However there’s these signs calling it a “must do” and a “main street staple” and yet… where is what it’s known for? All that it had inside was nothing like what it should be or is renown for. Disney clearly knows how much of a staple shopping there is but won’t give it the merchandise it needs to thrive.
Overall a very confusing and disappointing shopping experience.
The new Haunted Mansion movie was fun with lots of campy moments and cool Easter eggs. I wore my Mickey ghost poncho, but my local theater didn't have any cool photo-ops, so instead here's some photos from my Disney World trip last fall.
