♤ when it comes to a partner, taine wasn't one to really have a preference. he was the kinda nigga that would just shrug his shoulders and say "if she bad as fuc', then she bad as fuc', " anytime some one asked his preference.
♤ at first you thought it was just all talk, probably he wanted to prove something by implying he'd be into plus size women. or he wanted to just get into your panties. either of the two would surprise you, you've experience it one too many times.
♤ but as always, taine did surprised you. whenever he'd talk you up, it never felt forced or try hard. he was just cool, and never dug where he wasn't wanted. he made his interest clear from the beginning, and he wasn't shy about it. if it wasn't the hard stares. the light touches. offers to give you a ride anytime, anywhere. or the obvious suggestive compliments. taine wanted you. bad.
" ight ma, I gotta head out to get some shi' done. oh and you real good in that top today. damn good. see you later. "
♤ your first kiss with taine was spontaneous as ever. and frankly even more surprising, initiated by you. you went for it. you just went for it. it took you so long to accept the fact that taine liked you. and even longer to admit that you liked him too. but once you did, you couldn't shake the thought of pressing your lips to his.
♤ that feeling became so overwhelming everytime you saw him. till one day, you cupped his face and pressed your lips to his. it took a while for him to kiss you back, probably cause he was taken aback by the sudden boldness, but hell he was happy to see you take the reigns this time.
♤ his lips were soft yet coarse against yours. his motions were slow at the start. his hands began to roam and whimpers were heard, the kiss became all the more heated. his hands started to grip at any part of your body he could reach. sides, love handles, thighs, upper arms.
♤ you were getting worked up by the second, and if the tent in his jeans were an indication of anything, was that he was too. you loved that whenever you pulled back for air, you'd catch a glimpse of his grill. he looked so good with them. he kissed along your jaw, collarbone and down to your breasts. god the ache between your legs was becoming unbearable as this point.
♤ and as if he read your mind, you watched as the keys were slipped out the ignition. he leaned back a bit to take a good look at his work. if his smug ass grin meant anything, it was that he was satisfied.
♤ next thing you know, your back pressed against your front door. taine's body was pressing against you, keeping you from moving too much. one hand was up your shirt, pulling the cups of your bra down, and the other groped at your ass. with the position he had you in, you could feel his print pressed against your low stomach.
taine suddenly pulled back and just looked at you. "jump."
it took you a while to register what he just said. he repeated himself again, make no mistake you heard him this time. you froze.
sure the idea of taine carrying you to the bedroom was hot, but what if he hurt himself. you weren't exactly manageable, and you didn't want him to go out his way to try an-
your thoughts were interrupted by the sudden grips at your thighs. in one quick move he had lifted off the floor. "wrap your legs fo' me".
you were so quiet as he made his way your room. he kissed at your next to try to calm you down, he could tell by the way you tensed up in his arms.
"don't worry bout me, i got you"
♤ you expected taine to throw you on the bed once you guys reached the room, but instead he gently let you down. you paused and wondered if you did something wrong. he pulled you to stand in between his legs as he sat on the bed. "ever sat on a niggas face before ma?" he smirked at the way your eyes widen, well that answers that.
♤ your breath hitched as you felt him pull at your hips till you were seated on his chest, well hovered. once he finally coaxed you to his face, you felt him pushing the flesh of your inner thighs and pulling your panties to the side. you knew he finally got what he wanted when his grills flashed from his smirk. finally got a good view of your pussy. "fuck there she is. fucking gorgeous baby. com' on sit her down for me."
♤ you didn't even know how long you were sat on his face for, you were too fucked out to care. his tongue pushed and parted at your folds, and even dipped into you at times. all you did was grip onto his twists and pulled his face further into you. he sucked hard at your clit, and laid a slap on your ass whenever you got too quiet on him. soon you became too light headed to sit up right and that's when you fell forward.
♤ in one swift move, taine rolled you onto your back. his mouth still sucking at your folds. fuck was this nigga ever gonna let up. soon you felt him let off your cunt, with a slight pop. you took a minute to catch your breathe, was he done?
♤ nope, instead he decided he wanted to finally feel yow wrapped around him. with how swollen and puffed up you were, you could definitely take him in one push, right? wait, just to make sure. your eyes went wide once you saw how his fingers spread your lips even further, and you watched as he spit at your cunt. you couldn't believe he just did that. you couldn't even cuss him out, he looked at you like he dared you to. smug ass nigga.
♤ he soon shut your thoughts up by pushing his shaft into you. it was like the air was forced out your lungs. his length wasn't anything hard to take but the girth was fucking ridiculous. not to mention the curve in him, hit right onto your sweet spot. you writhed and squirmed under him, all you could focus on was the sudden stretch in your cunt, and push against your g-spot. "ma, breathe. calm down fo' me, can't move till you do, ok?"
♤ when you gave him the go ahead, you saw the instance the relief on his face. he was really fighting the urge to dick you down. the man could even pace himself, he just began to rut into you. he loved how he heard how wet you were. and that was all because of him. "you got a good fuckin' pussy on you. real fuckin' easy to fuck into".
♤ you two spent what felt like hours fucking. he was really worked up, even when he came less than a couple seconds ago, all he had to do was look at how gone you were and how you'd hug your thighs to your chest as you pleaded with him to come back. that shit almost made him swear he'd cuff you one day. "damn you look really good like this. damn good"

So I have opinions and questions
At this current point in time, I have just finished episode 22 of 03 and I am confused, but I also have a lot of opinions about everything that has happened over the past few episodes, more specifically everything with the 5th lab, and while I had been posting things as everything was happening I gave up as more and more ridiculous shit kept happening. This all being said I want to make it abundantly clear that as I make comparisons I am making them to the manga and not Brotherhood. If you have a problem with that this is not the blog for you, I am looking at this show as an adaptation of the original source, not its own story, which in my opinion is what it is. If it was supposed to be its own show it would be something different that was actually its own thing not whatever the fuck it is. With that being said what the fuck was this adaptation of the 5th lab arc??
First I want to address Greed, as of this point in time I do not see a reason for him to be included, and while I am open to that being further explored this is just a wonderful example of the writers of 03 essentially saying they don't give a fuck about the manga they are adapting. His inclusion in the arc makes no sense as I feel like as it has been depicted up to this point relies on viewers already knowing who he is to an extent, especially when he makes a brief appearance in episode 19/20 (I don't remember which it was off of the top of my head). Even as we see more of him and him finding the chimeras that doesn't make a lot of sense if you don't already know who he is, and if you do already know who he is you would know that he isn't supposed to be there. Also with Greed, if he causes so many problems for the other homunculi as is implied, why was the button that Barry had access to something that could cause damage in a way that would release him.
I genuinely dislike how they are taking this outside of very select things. I don't like what the homunculi try to force Ed to do, that along with many elements of this arc feel like they are making it edgy for the sake of being edgy (and as an angst author, this is something that I hate because when it's done like this you can tell and it doesn't feel as impactful or like it has a point). FMA is already a dark story and the dark elements are beautifully done without making it edgy for the sake of being edgy. I do not understand why Shou Tucker needed to be brought back, he should have stayed dead. I will say that I like the homunculi explicitly stating that they want to be human but there are ways to explore that without solely fucking over Ed.
Also, the way they handle so many things takes away from an incredibly badass moment that Maria Ross got. I'm sorry her hugging Ed when he's basically turning into a god (which what the fuck? I will get back to that) and that stopping it is not as cool as her shooting Barry and therefore helping Al. Part of the reason I love this series (specifically the manga and here by extension Brotherhood) is the powerful women and I just can't stand how many of the women are portrayed in 03.
Next Scar, because why was he there except to eventually save Ed, but still these changes feel like a fuck you to the original which is not something I particularly care for. His presence only sort of makes sense when it comes to what changes are made, otherwise (especially when he first shows up) it feels like he is just taking Maria Ross's place. He shouldn't have been needed, the original plot of this arc was perfectly good.
Now I'm gonna talk about alchemy in 03 because it feels like a glorified magic system when originally it was very clearly a science. There are many things that don't make sense but one thing that I specifically dislike is how less deliberate alchemy is in 03, the thing with Ed and the stone would have never happened if it was more science-based and more deliberate. Alchemy is most like some sort of reaction being triggered. Ed stepping on the stone and almost becoming god makes no sense. I do not care that he was on a circle. The stone is a tool, not a magical artifact, it amplifies what skill someone is using. There is no reason that it should be able to suddenly make someone discount god. If anything should have happened Ed should have been transmuted somehow, but even then there was no intent for alchemy to be performed so nothing should have happened. Alchemy is not a magic that can go off on its own, it is a science that needs to be studied and then can be used by people, it doesn't just happen. Going off of this what the fuck was the stuff that was holding Greed in place because clearly there was what was implied to be alchemy subduing him (see him immediately breaking through the shitty belts) and this is just more magic alchemy bullshit that doesn't make sense. Like how would that work without it being bullshit magic.
Now if you do have answers, kindly don't provide them. I am essentially reacting to the show as I watch it. I understand things will be answered, but that doesn't mean that I want them now I want to naturally come to those pieces of information as I want the context. So no spoilers in the replies please (there is a reason I always note where I am in my watch-through). Also just because there is an answer, doesn't mean I'm not going to have the same or a similar critique, explanations don't magically fix things.
I'm sure I will have more to say but for now, I am going to leave it here, don't be surprised though if I eventually add more.

Oct 22nd 2023 - Get back to witchcraft with me!
Tumblr media
I think it's time we *try* to delve back into witchcraft, paganism and assorted shenanigans, blog style! It's been way too long for me and I feel so disconnected spiritually, so let's start with the basics and have some conversations about it now that a few years have passed.
*One big caveat may be that it's 2023 - politically and socially so many things are different or changing, so I want to go through all of my notes and ideas and hopefully re-examine them as someone in their 30's, married, nonbinary, queer, disabled and leftist.
So let's start with this - What is Witchcraft?
As I remember not too long ago, there were more frequent debates about what category witchcraft actually falls into. Is it inherently religious? Is it just a craft or tool?
Personally I feel like the general consensus is that it is primarily a metaphysical (and also physical) craft whose purpose is to help achieve very specific outcomes. It is inherently unbiased and neutral - but depending on the way a practitioner guides it, it can be used for good, evil or neutral gains.
While witchcraft isn't a religion, it can certainly be used in tandem with various or all religions based on beliefs and doctrinal rules. Many people equate witchcraft with Wicca, but *that religion was formed in the 50's and therefore postdates most historical references to witchcraft as a practice. We will return to that point!
It feels like in 2023, most modern and generally American-centric practice of witchcraft tends to include mindfulness, positive affirmations, vision boards, intentions, and working with Tarot and crystals. This of course is completely accessible and understandable for most people, which makes it ideal for the general population. Plus, it helps to destigmatize the practice, and I think it has done that for the most part.
Some talking points we could delve into would be that while this form of witchcraft or magic is definitely accessible and easy to digest (I also mean accessible to disabled folks!), sometimes it can reek of privilege, capitalism and inaccurate information. Witchcraft wasn't always easy to find resources on, the methods were often very complicated and folklore driven, you could literally get killed etc etc. And let's not forget that the "I'm the ancestor of witches you couldn't burn" is categorically incorrect and a weird take, not to mention the assumption that only women can and did practice. Again, another thing we will talk about.
Other than that I think the general modern idea is that witchcraft is the act of bending energy or reality to your will with the help of herbs, sigils, energy work, visualization, etc. Some people do not feel the need for any supplementals, some people practice witchcraft in tandem with gods or spirits. Some of us have even created new avenues in the modern age like using machines as a power source! (It's me) Witchcraft is sort of open to interpretation, but I do think that reference material and the basics of the scientific equation still are important within context. What historically works? What methods are time honored? Why do we use x to represent x in spellwork? So much of physical creation of spells is based off of ideas we have been building as a species for generations within storytelling. Some people believe that those stories and beliefs are what gives certain ingredients or methods power - because there is so much historical energy associated with them.
What do you think witchcraft is, or what does it mean to you in your practice? I'd really like to get back into the conversation, back into books and talk about theory.
And as a bonus - let's do a quick Tarot reading about what witchcraft is!
Tumblr media
What is witchcraft - Nine of Pentacles, Reversed
I like this - basically a call to create your own path, to balance your own scales and take action to regain a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
How does witchcraft help people - The Moon
It helps people to explore their emotions, perceptions and beliefs! It helps to cultivate self-awareness, introspection and intuition. It can help to confront your fears, develop personal guidance and trust in yourself, and helps you to meet and understand your place in the world.
How does witchcraft harm people - Two of Cups, Reversed
I feel like the message is about stereotypes in one sense - that there is still a lot of misunderstanding about witchcraft societally and within our own communities that divides us or causes big rifts. Many of these problems are rooted in pride and the ego - who is right? Who is being self-destructive? I think it is a reminder that while there is absolutely a time and place for correcting behavior and beliefs with facts and evidence, that listening and being curious on both ends of the scrutiny can be beneficial.
What are you waiting for?
This is just a representation of the freedom that witchcraft gives to those that practice it. Your will is your command or desire. Where will that take you? What will your intentions be and what will they bring? Witchcraft can be as little or as big of a part of your life as you want it to be. So why not see where it takes you?
Anywho - I hope that was a fun and interesting read! I will try to do these more often as I try to re-immerse myself back into witchcraft. Expect some book reviews, local shop reviews, theory conversations! And if Tumblr isn't the spot for it anymore, I will probably be posting smaller blips on Instagram or full posts on my website. But until then.

rules for this page:
No minors please. I cannot control what you you might read but please do not interact if you are under the age of 18. This page is basically straight up porn and very much adult content. Underage/ageless blogs are at risk of being blocked!!!
This blog is a safe space for the dirtiest, smuttiest thoughts on our favourite twd men and women. No judgments or being mean. Peace and love only sweeties.
inbox and dm rules:
Anons are welcome! I again ask that you’re over 18!!! Feel free to send in prompts, requests, comments on fics or anything rlly! I love to hear random, general thoughts as well. Interact with me! It makes my day<3 I basically just love to talk and am chronically bored :)
Please keep messages kind, respectful and sweet. Also… despite my love for darker media, I actually am a really sensitive soul and can’t always take reading certain topics. Fun little stories and looking for advice regarding friendships or whatever is totally fine but let’s just keep everything nice and light and sweet. There are many resources out there if any of you need real help <333
If you interact with me frequently and I still don’t follow you back, please make sure you have your age in your bio. If you’re my mutual and wanna chat about writing and tv and all sorts of whatever… dm me <3 (If we’re in love already… we should probably be friends too right?)
as for my writing/requests/prompts:
I will write for Rick, Daryl, Shane, Rosita (sometimes Merle and Negan) Dean Winchester, and Frank Castle <3
I only write x reader. I mostly gravitate towards fem!reader but I will gladly write gender neutral or afab with no use of pronouns. I try and mix it up and keep as many works as neutral as possible. If nothing is specified in a prompt, I will typically write it as fem!reader. And If we’re mutuals and I already know your pronouns, I’ll go based off those for your requests:)
For requests, a specific situation/plot line is easiest for me to work with. General requests (like Rick x hyperfeminine!Reader) are usually not specific enough for me to come up with something. Prompts with a plot line or situation (like reader finds a cat and brings it home to Rick and Daryl) are so much easier to work with and will often come out much quicker <3
As far as requests go, I may not write every one. Some, I am just simply not into and wouldn’t want to write, some I can’t seem to come up with a situation for/are awaiting a spark of inspo, and others are too similar to something I’ve read or done (in that case I will lead you towards those fics)
Please note- I do have a lot in my inbox most of the time so requests can tend to take a while. I apologize for this, but I am a student and I write on this blog for fun and to connect with people so I don’t ever want to feel stressed or pressured. I’ll usually get around to them and I will try my best, but I’ll admit I’m pretty slow <3
Most of my content is smut, but I really love fluff too though so please don’t be shy to request situations for that as well:)
I’m not huge on angst, generally I’m trying to escape when reading and writing, so I’d rather not write about sad things.
my absolute no’s:
incest (stepcest is fine), underage, scat play, age play/age regression, pet play, anything with self harm, abuse or eating disorders. Take a look at my work and see if it’s on par with what you may want to request. I will politely tell you if I don’t feel comfy writing for it. There’s also no harm in asking if you’re ever unsure. I truly don’t judge.
☾ darker themes, such as dub-con or consensual non consent are cool with me (to an extent. If you have questions feel free to ask…) ☾
prompt list here
(please do not plagiarize, copy, repost or translate any of my work here or on any other platforms and make sure to give credit where credit is due)

Hey m, what's your stance on separation of the art from the artist when it comes to the artist being of a questionable character?
And on a wholly separate note, did you ever talk of Letter and Jimin and Jungkook and if there's a case for interpreting the song as most shippers have done?
Wow, that is a totally separate note there, anon 😆
But let's start with the first part of your ask. I'm sure I've written about this in the past, but my tagging system is not the best. Anyway..
What I can tell you is that there is no definitive answer. Which is probably boring because we're "supposed" to pick a side and stick to it. Regardless of our position, it's almost expected for us to be radical. I've had this exact debate so many times, with people of different ages and backgrounds. It's an ongoing debate and I really don't think there is a correct way of looking at it. I think that the more we try and move away from an abstract position and rather look at the particularities, it would be easier to understand our own arguments and how/why we choose to accept or dismiss some people. Then we also have to keep in mind what is condered questionable character. Does its definition include a general understanding of a person that is accepted all across the board? Or our own character and world views influence the way we perceive other people? And sometimes, there's another element that perhaps it's easily explicable, but in my mind, it's the one about a lack of logic. I'll give you an example. It's close to impossible for me to rewatch CMBYN because of Hammer's cannibalism allegations, more than the ones of abuse against women. I also publicly and vehemently condemn Woody Allen because I believe he is guilty of what he's been accused of, but it doesn't mean I will also never watch Annie Hall. Does that say that I'm a bad person? A hypocrite? Maybe. But it also says that I can't help but be subjective depending on each singular situation and that some of my views don't have any logic even in my own mind.
But these are extreme cases, of people who had actual charges brought against them. There are countless others that are usually accused of wide range of things, from sexism, racism, homophobia to xenophobia, you name it. Everything under the sun. Some people will not care, while others will. It's an individual choice. Not only a moral one, but economic as well.
I'd like to end this though by saying that I personally don't expect art to be made only by morally righteous people. I think that's a dangerous trap that leads to just another type of extremism.
Now, the second part, a bit more fun!
The only time I mentioned Letter was in one of my early posts on the new blog. I said it reminds me of a studio Ghibli movie but that I also have a more personal attachment to it.
I know how it's been interpreted by jikookers. I personally don't subscribe to the theory, but not for some major reason. I think it's nice Jimin had Jungkook do the backing vocals and seeing him sing during a livestream was moving. That's sort of enough for me. I think it's perfectly possible for the song to really be a letter to his fans. What I'm trying to say is that as much as it is really sweet, if it's for Jungkook or not, it doesn't have a major bearing on my opinion regarding them.
But I want to be very clear that just because I believe that, it doesn't mean I have an issue or condemn any jikooker who believes in the theory that it's a song for JK and about them. It's a harmless theory that is not based on any toxic or weird narrative. People should be free to talk about it, without having condescending anons or bloggers making fun of it or even criticising it too harshly. I've seen that happen a lot after the album was released.
P.S. Anon, I just saw your second ask. I'd rather stick to my answer as it is now, without going into any RM specifics as of today. I'm not in the mood for that.

fandom asks ✨ 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 23, 24 (if it's too many, just choose the ones you wanna do!)
hi, thanks for the ask!! and no, it's not too many at all, i love answering questions
3. a character that fandom has helped you appreciate
any woman characters in anything tbh. this is in part due to how underrepresented women are in media, and i will also freely admit to being slightly influenced by the misogyny in our society and in fandom spaces, but i never really paid that much attention to female characters until i started actively participating in fandom. i do hope that i've gotten over that flaw in my perception, and will keep getting over it as my understanding of people and my characterisation in my own writing improves and develops
5. something you see in fics a lot and love
for hamilton - the very popular idea that ham is afraid of storms. i don't care that it's overdone or whatever, i love me some good anxiety and ptsd and i love me some good ham angst. for mcyt - i haven't actually read mcyt fics in a while, but i love the idea that all the life people remember every game across servers. it has soo much potential for angst in my opinion
7. your favourite tropes to read/write/draw
ohh man. hurt/comfort is everything to me, specifically the kind where one character cries in front of the other. hurt no comfort is also great, and there's also a specific one that i'll try to sum up in a concise way - character suffering in silence while everyone around them slowly begins to notice that something's wrong, all eventually culminating in them having some kind of breakdown in front of all these people in which the extent of their misery is revealed. this one's all i need in my life tbh, i wish there were more fics with this scenario
10. a blog (mutual or one you follow) that has made your fandom experience brighter
well. i confess that you came to mind first. like, your fics? i've been afraid to read some of them because i know that i'll get destroyed (/pos). the founding fucks? i have so much fun there. i'll admit that i'm rather lonely and coming off a messy friend-divorce, so having people to talk to and have fun with and be inspired by has been quite great. also you're just so nice? and you introduced me to 1776? and whump: the musical has done wonders for my creativity, i've had so much fun coming up with all the prompts and writing them, and it's kind of made me realise - i can write whatever i want. like, it doesn't have to be a long multiple k words fic, or have a whole story - i can literally write one specific scene. i can write for fun, fully, without worrying about my perfectionism kicking me in the ass. which, my perfectionism does tend to lead to masterpieces, but not everything has to be a masterpiece, and whump: the musical has played a big role in me realising that. so, uh, yeah!! thank you so much for brightening my fandom experience!
15. the character that always makes you smile
well, to be honest, this changes - whoever i'm hyperfixating on at the time makes me smile. but some of my favourite characters are 1776 adams, ham, hewlett in turn, and also watching a mcyt's new video never fails to make me smile
23. the fandom you're curious about because of a mutual
all the musicals in whump: the musical tbh. i've added them to my List™ (that thing is sooo long help /lh)
24. how has fandom positively impacted your life?
it's provided me an outlet for my creativity and a place i can go when real life gets to be too much. additionally, my special interest is humans and their emotions, personalities, particularly their misery - so fandom plays right into that. and also some experiences i've had with certain people while part of fandom have taught me a lot about friendship, people pleasing, trusting people and learning how to interact with people in general. and while those experiences did hurt, i'm ultimately grateful for the stronger and better person i've become as a result

I just think It’s weird how people on here act like they know everything going on in someone’s life just by reading their tumblr blog. Not to not all men but just so everyone knows.. not everyone in the military raped and murdered little children. Everyone saying like. “Oh so you’re fine with being married to someone who went to afghanistan and raped little girls and tortured and brutally murdered everyone in a five mile radius?????” Or just. I don’t know it’s just kind of dumb. Obviously that happens a lot in the military but……….. and also you don’t know their relationship either, so. You weren’t there which means you’ll never know the full story, just what kelly posts online. I’m not even the biggest fan of her, I don’t follow her, Im generally critical of women who marry men, et cetera. But I can see that it’s just stupid. You can’t know everything about someone just from online, for example, I hadn’t posted on my blog for months because I was in inpatient and wanted to actually focus on my recovery, but I had many people in my inbox, as well as mutuals talking, and everyone had a different idea to what had happened to me. Literally no one thought I was in inpatient since I hadn’t ever posted about it before (my blog is a fandom blog, so I don’t talk much about my personal life when it’s not in relation to the book). I don’t know. I think these people are just kind of dumb and maybe they need to go do something with their life. Call their mom, walk their dog, develop a sense of self awareness, and so forth.
listen he may be the worst person ever or the best man in the world, at the end of the day i literally don’t know him & yeah a man being in the military doesn’t mean he’s a rapist who killed brown ppl and raped every woman in his path. but i can understand not trusting him bc he’s in the military as well. like this is a specific person they’re talking about rather than them listing things the US military has been proven to have done. if we wanna argue that he’s probably the type or person who might overlook such issues then fine ok i can get that, if they wanna be like i can never trust or like a guy like that, fine sure. if they think hes unethical i get that too. but coming up with horrible scenarios and insisting it must’ve happened and thus it’s justifiable to hate on a random woman on tumblr bc she’s married to a guy in the military and the military is bad is perhaps 😭 just a little bit overboard? we do not know their relationship. we don’t know him or what he’s like to her or how she feels or anything else bc even ppl who talk about their lives on here aren’t telling u everything ever. we don’t know their lives like that n while i get it if ppl don’t like her bc no one can be liked by everyone, it’s just too much when ppl speculate and take ppls personal lives so personally in that way.

Okay, AG did terrible with the HP line, regardless but I am a conservative trying to understand.. are people just mad because she doesn't have the same POV, because what I got from her tweets was she was being so polite about having a different opinion, even saying she supports lgbt, more than AG even is.. and as for her racism.. is this only because of fictional racist commentary? because it's fair to acknowledge it is a problem also in the fictional world too.. doesn't mean the author is in fact...
all that being said and I still think she leans left, probably is feminist anyway, and did not support trump or the conservative party even in Britain.. so are we all just going to assume she is all the above... as in are we to assume conservatives are as such, and that she must be one ??
my other question is, who is JKR talking about... like is she actually referring to trans women who are using the platform wrongly, as in taking advantage of women's sports and privacy? or is she really meaning harm to the entire community... I just think there needs to be context considered, and rules as well as exceptions because we do have young girls to protect either way. most importantly why are we buying AG when they never show their support for LGBT to begin with.. ever..
Just to make it clear to everyone who follows me, this is an American Girl blog.
I don’t want it to become a political blog. That’s why I’m responding to a bunch of asks in one post so it doesn’t clutter up the dash more than the previous asks already have. The only reason I’m even discussing JKR or trans issues is because of the AG x HP collab. Bear that in mind before sending me another ask in the future.
Read the entire post below the cut before sending me another anon about JKR, trans issues, or religion as it relates to views on LGBTQ+ issues.
Also I genuinely have no idea who sent what anon, so I’m going to reply to a few of the asks in my inbox that all have the same kinds of questions. I’ve put them in the order I think they go in. I think there are two of you at least? A couple of these messages are more polite than others, so going forwards don’t come at me making assumptions, regardless of who sent each one.
Sticking it under a cut because this could get very long. Also TW for discussion of sexual assault and general transphobia.
--
First thing I'm going to say is I don't really care where JKR leans on other political issues. I'm not interested in talking about conservatives vs liberals. I'm talking about transphobic views specifically. At no point have I referred to JKR as a conservative, so I’m not sure how this got brought up in this discussion.
I’m also not interested in discussing trans rights and personhood as a whole through the lens of potential criminality. The number of transgender people “using the platform wrongly” is so, so, so small, if it even exists at all.
- We have literally no evidence that there has ever been a trans person who assaulted a cisgender woman or girl in a bathroom. Or a locker room. Or anywhere that’s designated as being exclusively a space for women. Or really anywhere. (It doesn’t even matter how someone identifies in whatever bathroom because sexual assault is still illegal. Please just let people pee comfortably while minding their own business.)
-  Transgender people are far more likely to be sexually assaulted than cisgender people. Full stop.
- There is not enough research done on transgender athletes to make a blanket statement about whether they should be allowed in sports or not. We are doing the research now. From what we know right now, trans women have some advantages in sports...but they also have some disadvantages as well. I strongly suggest you read the article in full because it’s the most thorough, least-biased article I’ve found on the topic.
While we’re here, did you know that cisgender women undergo hormone replacement therapy all the time? After menopause, many cisgender women have to take hormones (the same ones prescribed to transgender women) to replace estrogen no longer made sufficiently by their own body. You didn’t bring that up at all, but I’m bringing it up because I think it’s always important to remember that the dividing line between "cis person things” and “trans person things” isn’t so clear-cut. We’re not some foreign species. Trans people are just like you.
Now, onto JKR.
You ask “is she really meaning harm to the entire community” and to that I say it doesn’t really matter. She IS harming the entire community. Her rhetoric has been used to strike down important protections for LGBTQ+ people.
The number one concrete thing that tells everyone that JKR does not support trans people is her repeated support of the LGB Alliance. This organization claims to support lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and other individuals under the gay umbrella. However, the LGBA is an anti-trans hate group. If you don’t believe me, name one single campaign that the organization has funded that does not involve trans people or gender identity. Everything they put money into has to do with blocking transgender people from accessing healthcare and other necessary services, rather than helping gay, lesbian, and bisexual people.
She has expressly denied the fact that transgender women are women and gotten upset at others for affirming that fact. This brings me to some issues with how she and other trans-exclusionary feminists define womanhood. Are we really defining “woman” as a set of genitals? That seems demeaning, especially given that there are many people out there who are literally born without functioning reproductive organs. What about the idea that men are physically stronger than women? What happened to the feminist ideals from the 1970s where “women can do anything men can do”? Also I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to cross someone as strong as Rhea Ripley, regardless of what gender I was assigned at birth. JKR’s narrow definition of womanhood denies the womanhood and even personhood of people who don’t fit the stereotypical ideals of the female sex. That’s not just trans-exclusionary. That’s blatant sexism, probably of an internalized variety. You know a woman is having a tough time in life when she’s stereotyping and demeaning her own gender.
Additionally, another not-so-great thing JKR does to both trans and cis people: whenever someone agrees with her views on transgender people being some sinister threat to women, she’ll post their support message in a screenshot where she blocks out their username. When she doesn’t agree with them, however, she puts them on blast, retweets them directly, and sends her supporters after them to harass them. That’s dangerous behavior.
You ask “are people just mad because she doesn't have the same POV” and to that I say it’s certainly not about that. A “different viewpoint” does not demean other people. We call it hatred and bigotry. A normal, healthy, different viewpoint is something like “I think we should put tax money into space exploration programs,” not “I think transgender people are criminals who shouldn’t be a legally protected group.” And that’s exactly how many people see us. That’s how JKR talks about us. JKR makes it clear at every turn that she sees transgender people as criminals waiting for an opportunity to attack someone in a bathroom, even though studies show we do not do that. How is that a neutral viewpoint? How is that just a different POV that should be respected? I don’t respect people who demean others for just living their lives.
As for her racism, it’s not just the core Harry Potter books. It’s not just allusions to chattel slavery and antisemitism, though those are pretty bad if you actually reread the books through a critical lens. Her expanded-world “American” wizards take a questionable turn. She rewrites Native American/Indigenous legends and claims them as her own. Imagine if your family wrote a really good story and then some wealthy woman who doesn’t share your history or culture decides to rewrite it, misrepresent you and your family, and claim the royalties as her own. Native American and Indigenous people from tribes all across North America have been begging for all people to treat their stories with respect for generations. However, a rich, white, British lady is making bank off of stories that she isn’t even representing properly. That’s not cool. Rewriting a culture’s history for one’s own benefit is a racist thing to do.
--
while i understand people are capable of being religious and good, then why do we have a hard time accepting JKR or some conservatives that share differences, but both to me can be respectful about it, unless you think only small minded about conservatives or conservative leaning. because it just seems like you don't share the same feelings about politics, even though we know just like you said, religious people can be allies, or otherwise be respectful people why are you not extending the same treatment? it just seems hypocritically biased, and on top of that how do you believe in any religion that shares the commandments that openly talk against lgbt still..like do you just ignore it..?
This ask makes no sense because we jump from religion to JKR to me not being conservative to the Ten Commandments. I don’t know where to start on this ask because I’m not totally sure what the question is.
I think you’re asking “If religious people can respect LGBTQ+ people, why can’t you respect JKR for having a different viewpoint?” If I’m reading that right, that doesn’t make sense. Those are two separate issues. It seems you are equating JKR and transphobia with having religious views, despite the fact that she has never cited a religious reason for being against rights for trans people.
We’re still not talking about conservatism as a whole. We’re not talking about religion as a whole. If this is the anon who sent that first ask about religion, AG, and LGBTQ+ rights to me, you apparently did not read my response at all. You can be religious and/or conservative and also support human rights, something that you state and then proceed to forget in the above ask that I’m responding to now (once again assuming this is the same anon).
Also you need to read the Ten Commandments again because they say literally nothing about being LGBTQ+. Literally nothing. The parts in the Bible that some people interpret as talking about being gay likely had more to do with temple prostitution, rape, and incest. (TW for anyone reading that link for discussion of those topics.) And there’s some theological evidence that Adam and Eve were the first transgender people. I can’t find a link for that (I’ll update this post when I do), but in summary some theologians consider this because Eve, a woman, came from the rib of Adam, a man. In order for this to happen, Eve would have to be transgender and/or Adam would have to be initially genderless.
--
btw I am a different anon, that other one was rude, doubt they are conservative also.
??? So everyone whose tone you disagree with is not conservative? Maybe check that logic, anon, because I think you’ll find that many people, conservatives included, can be jerks on the internet.
--
like if you say boycott Jkr, but aren't telling people to quit religion that purposefully won't marry lgbt couples, and believe you're sinning..and  then the same with supporting AG who is obviously supportive of jkr.. I just mean to say your hatred towards one woman, who was abused by her first husband btw, is more than the religious leaders that enforced conversion therapy etc... like how is that something to get past?
You’re making assumptions and putting words in my mouth. Where have I said that people should keep beliefs that are homophobic under the guise of religion? Where have I said I support conversion therapy or the refusal to marry LGBTQ+ couples?
People can follow a religion and not hold homophobic or transphobic beliefs. People who do hold those beliefs should challenge them and work to become more supportive of people who are just trying to live their lives. End of discussion.
Where have I even said I hate JKR? I actually feel sorry for her because of all the times she has made it clear that she doesn’t have faith in women to be strong and make their own decisions in life. I hate some of her views, not her. Views can change with time, but I won’t be supporting her financially until change happens. JKR actually holds a few views that I agree with, but she disagrees with my mere existence. She demeans me and my fellow transgender people. She insults the intelligence and strength of female-bodied people. As a result, I don’t want her or her works in my life, and I think any other rational person shouldn’t either. Simple.
--
I am still open to talking about the above issues, though future replies may be much shorter or simply a link to this ask because I feel like I’ve said most of what needs to be said already. Read the whole post and the links before sending me another ask on these topics.
As per usual, anything that is directly and obviously transphobic or otherwise bigoted will not be published or responded to. I won’t reward purposeful and open hatred with attention.
Genuinely, I hope this post was helpful to people who actually want to learn. I hope those people have a good day.

Everything we Know about Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas's Romance
Before writing this blog I looked up the online meaning of “chivalry is dead” and it is now used by women saying “It’s a phrase that many women cry out in frustration as they read crude messages on dating apps and recount first dates gone wrong.” It seems like dating apps are used by many different things who all have different plans for using them. He's inspected the computer logs of scam operations, where teams of Yahoo Boys cooperate to systematically exploit victims, using playbooks that script out conversations months in advance. As a rough rule, two months should be a safe amount of time to broach the subject. Making friends as an adult can be hard work, but with online dating, you can experiment and chat with lots of different people in a short space of time. Or your childhood best friends? To be member on Free Online Dating, you have to sign up and start dating through emails, messaging, with your best searched profile.

so moving into twine has pushed me to make a decision regarding lea, and for transparency’s sake i figured i would publicly confirm that i am choosing to leave lea gender selectable.
since we had the public discussion a few months ago now i’ve thought a lot about it and even before then i had already discussed it quite a bit behind the scenes.
i understand why people are wary about gender selectable characters when it involves trans/lgbt identities, for lea specifically being butch, nb, or a trans man, and noel having the nb option as well, and i definitely understand why people may not like this decision and may disagree with it. i’m not going to hold that against anybody, and i’d never expect people to just shrug off their apprehension around this issue because of my decision.
but i do hope that i’ve made it clear through my blog & my actions that this choice was made with a lot of thought and care.
someone asked me if there was any reason for lea to be gender selectable - beyond just the standard reasoning of making them available to more players for romance. essentially, what is the reason for choosing to not genderlock lea?
lea is a character that exists alongside the hunter, and that closeness allows people to reflect themself in not just their player character but in lea as well, and share experiences with them, romance or not. this is a game mechanic that, in my opinion, makes interactive fiction so appealing, and was one of the main reasons that multiple people brought up in favor of gender selectable characters. the same is said for noel, especially being another hunter, i like having both lea and xem gender selectable because it allows for that extra connection, particularly for trans players, but also for others as well.
and lea is also a way for me to show exactly how the world of tnp addresses gender & trans identities, being able to have them as someone who always makes hormone potions whether they take them themself or not, and talks casually about it (and merry as a trans woman also openly talking about hormones), plus each variation of lea representing different identities that, again, the player can connect with and see themself reflected in, and that shows how different people can experience and express their gender. there is no singular trans experience, and lea is just tiny facet of something that is far greater and far too complex to be just reduced down to one single character - even when that character is split into three.
i’ve done my best to make it clear that each iteration of lea, while having similarities, are different people and all have different gender identities. while all of them are masc, and always will be no matter what the player chooses, they are not the same. f!lea is a butch woman, nb!lea is a transmasc person, and m!lea is a trans man. again, while these identities are similar and potentially can overlap in some aspects, they are not the same. i know another concern particularly with f!lea was giving a character a detransition narrative, and that was definitely not my intention. f!lea’s identity comes a lot from my own experiences as a butch lesbian & being around butch women and other transmasc lesbians.
i’ve known people that have taken T specifically for the reasons i put in the game - for a more masculine presentation and a deeper voice, and there are certain effects of taking T that are permanent: thicker body hair and, of course, a deeper voice. f!lea started taking T, and once she achieved her desired changes, she stopped. i’ve edited her bit in the hormone scene a few times, and i hope that where it’s at now clearly conveys her character.
this game is still pretty early on, too, but i am hoping to eventually include opportunities to discuss identities & trans experiences with all of the characters. it’s important to me personally, in that when i read interactive fiction i want it to actually be interactive, and a lot of the times when it comes to the gender identity of the main character it is simply a choice in the character creator, and then never mentioned again beyond the implementation of a pronoun variable. there’s also typically a lack of actual trans and/or nb characters aside from the main character, leaving the player with no one to connect with & potentially feeling alienated. and with tnp i absolutely do not want to be another game that repeats this pattern, because i know as a reader it’s a reoccurring problem in a lot of games that really bothers me.
and it’s important to me as the author in that i want it to be clear that the world of tnp is accepting and gives space for people to explore their identities, both in regards to gender and sexuality, and that it is an integral part of growing up in this society. this is something that has been briefly mentioned with lea in the hormone scene but it is also a point i plan to bring up again, since every character in the main cast of the northern passage is, in some way, a part of the lgbt community.
with me porting into twine and making a lot of edits recently i felt like i needed to make this post, and i also wanted to share my thoughts and reasoning behind this decision.
once again i thank everyone that was involved with that discussion a few months ago and shared their thoughts with me & i’m glad this is something that we were able to talk about and really look at through a critical lens.
and i am, as always, open to more discussion, about this or any aspect of tnp, though as i said previously i do prefer this kind of thing to be talked about off anon, just for my own comfort. while i really did enjoy the discussion last time, it was also very uncomfortable for me, being forced into hosting what was essentially a multi-day anonymous gender discussion panel. i’m not an expert and i’ve never claimed to be; there’s no way i could ever fully represent every single person in this dialogue and i unfortunately do not have all the answers.
so, with that being said, thank you for supporting this game, thank you for being here, and thank you for reading this.

As a lover - SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo
Disclaimer: This reading is for entertainment purpose only, so please take it as a grain of salt and live laugh love all the way besties!!
This reading is done by my friend @bluerabb (she usually doesn't post any reading on her blog and she wants me to post them here so please considerate follow my blog if you want to read more from her ^^). I took note during her reading, proofread and added some of my own thoughts along.
There is a nsfw part in this reading (under "keep reading"), so if you're a minor reading this, please stop where I put my warning.
Without futher ado, enjoy the reading!
Tumblr media
After seeing the cards, me and @bluerabb have decided that, whoever his significant other is, they're the luckiest person to ever exist.
This man will forever be my ultimate bias wrecker. He is the bias wrecker of all bias wreckers for me 😭
The cards:
Tyldwick Tarot: The Devil, King of Wands, Ten of Cups
Cosmos Tarot and Oracle: Four of Wands (rx), The Devil, Ten of Cups
Just look at the cards. Both of us spent a good minute sitting in silence because we couldn't comprehend what was going on. The women were too stunned to speak :D The possibility for the same two cards to come out from two different decks is low, but I guess it's not zero. And that two specific cards? I can't with this-
Wonwoo in love is passionate. His love is fiery. It stays burning brightly and relentlessly, against the winds, the rains, any storms or hurricanes.
Wonwoo is creative, and he's gonna find thousands of different ways to express his feeling to his person.
His love language is sooooo gonna to be physical touch (I don’t think I need to explain this any further with The Devil appeared twice :D). This can get a little bit extreme sometimes, to the point that he doesn’t let anyone get touchy his person, they're his person and his only. It can be a little bit of a toxic trait, as he can be overprotective and it can lead to controlling over his person, for a good cause but still. He just love them so much :(( Talking about being protective, he will get all rile up and turn aggressive if anyone dare to talk shit about his person and their relationship. This can get physical if people keep push his buttons. Sharing music is also one of his way to express his feeling. He will write love songs for his person (I'm literally in tears). And if it's not his music, he would go for songs that give off jazzy/old-school vibe or romantic classical piece.
He will keep his lover's pictures in a place that easy to see like his home screen/lock screen, wallet, and he would love it if they do the same. He treasures all the memories with his lover and the gifts they give him with all of his heart (put them in places that he can see easily, keeping them clean,…). He enjoys café date/tea date with his lover, when they can just sit down and talk about their day in a cozy and lovely space and filled with pleasant aroma. He also want to experience new things with the one he loves, a lot of first time together. He will want to try a lot of venture games, extreme sports with them, and he will lowkey hope that they'll get scared and hold on to him (omg my heartttttttttt the man is so slyyyyy I love itttttt).
Before being able to find the love of his life, he will go through some bad experience in relationship. It awfully affected him. This can explain why he has some extreme/toxic traits, since he is still learning to love TTTT His intention are good, but the way he express it could make his lover get the wrong ideas. He needs to be careful with his jealousy tendency and things he says/does while being angry. But again, he's still a wonderful lover. He won't give a damn if there are differences between him and his lover. He won't care how weird, how bad other people think of his person. As long as he can feel the connection with them, it's fine by him. He will see his person and treat them like royalty. You can say, he's smitten :D
(Minors please stop right here)
Now for some nsfw stuffs.
Wonwoo is a hard dom (again, don’t think I need to explain this any further with The Devil appeared twice :D). He loves to tower his person, he want his skin on their body all the time and he loves to see their expression (doing it in front of the mirror/anything that can help him see their face). He loves to know that it's him that making them feel good.
He could also enjoy shower sex (actually anything that related to water, I'd say pool sex too but private one tho :D). Cuffing can also be something that turns him on, like seeing his person get handcuffed to the bed.

SMART Goals for people with executive dysfunction
People all over are talking about setting goals right now, because it’s the beginning of a new year. The big buzz word for goals has been to make them SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-based. I’m not a fan of SMART goals myself, but I know they’re great for some people. So if you want to give them a try, here are the steps to follow.
Specific
Decide what you want to achieve. Really drill down to what it is and why.
For example, if you want to read more books, put a number on that and decide what types of books you want to read. One book a week? That’s 52 books in a year. Do you want them to be fiction or non-fiction or does it matter? Is it that you want to read more or that you want to read more women authors, or authors of a particular race, or maybe more books about a type of person? This is helpful because it gives you the criteria you’ll need for choosing your books, which lessens decision fatigue.
It also helps you know when you’ve achieved the goal.
Measurable
It’s way easier to measure something positive than negative (depending on what you’re talking about).
For example, if I want to skin-pick less often, I would need to have a baseline of how much I actually do it in order to measure whether I’m doing it less often.
Instead, I would figure out what I want to do instead of skin-picking, and then measure how many times I do the replacement behaviour vs how many times I just keep picking.
Achievable
Make sure you choose something you’re going to be able to do. You can make it something that might be difficult, but don’t make it impossible.
For example, I see social media people talk about setting goals for how many followers you’re going to have. I dislike that because it’s dependent on other people’s behaviour, and I have zero control over that.
Instead, I would set goals around how many times per week I will post to social media. That’s my behaviour, and while ADHD makes it difficult to control sometimes, I have way more control over what I do than what someone else does.
Relevant
Your goals need to make sense for your life.
It would be ridiculous for me to set a goal to go to the gym three times a week since I live in the country and there’s a pandemic going on.
What I can do, however, is set a goal to go for a walk every day and to do at-home strength training three times a week.
Time-based
Goals need end dates to be effective, especially for those of us with crappy executive functioning. That deadline gives us the needed push to get stuff done.
So a goal to write a novel is great, but it’ll be better if you have a date by which you want to have it finished.
Examples in full (not my actual goals):
I will read 52 science fiction novels by December 31, 2022.
When I notice that I am skin-picking, I will pick up my knitting instead and finish two shawls this way by December 31, 2022.
I will post on Instagram three times a week, for a total of 156 posts by December 31, 2022.
I will prepare to walk a 5k in September 2022 by walking outside for at least 30 minutes a day, six days a week, once the weather is warm enough to do so.
I will finish the final draft of my in-progress novel by June 30, 2022.
Breaking it down
The biggest problem for us is that all of these goals need to be broken down further before we can really begin working on them.
We need to know all of the steps that will get us to that deadline, and we need to schedule them appropriately so we aren’t scrambling too much to get there.
If you need help breaking things down, that’s what this blog is for—please send an ask! If you, like me, think SMART goals aren’t all that smart for us, make sure you watch the Actually ADHD web site (http://actuallyadhd.org) this month, because I’ll be writing about some other ways to tackle our goals.

I know youve been told this like a million times but I wanted to tell you too: thanks for being a genuine advocate for trans men and standing up for the community. Im a trans man/genderqueer and ive been on Tumblr for a while but recently the blatant hatred and harassment towards trans men for doing nothing more than talking about the oppression we face and inventing words to describe that oppression is insane. Esp with Big Funny Meme blogs picking up those posts just to make fun of trans men and nothing else. Esp big funny meme blogs that are owned by LBGT people... Its really nice to have an oasis of safety in your blog, and learn a lot about dog care and training too!! Thanks so much Jaz 💖
I'm glad you've found refuge here! I have mostly stayed out of the trans community online for much of my life because it's always been filled with stupid petty drama, I think the problem is that right now there are particularly loud individuals who believe themselves untouchable because they have A Sacred Identity and thus any problematic behavior they exhibit cannot be called out because their Identity Is Good Actually.
Completely unrelated (or is it) to the whole thing going down on tumblr, I started being loud about this after two events last summer. The first when a very bad take regarding male SA survivors was reblogged uncritically by a mutual, and the second when I watched a trans masc friend in a LGBT-specific dog group on FB make his own post saying that the "jokes" about all men being bad and being attracted to men is a curse etc contributed to why he stayed in the closet for so long and could we please think of how this may hurt marginalized men when posting in a group that is, statistically, half marginalized men... and he was effectively called an incel and an MRA and told that he personally was responsible for male violence against women. Because he voiced, in a mixed group, that he was not comfortable with all of the jokes at his demographic's expense.
And the admins, two of who are also trans masc, just let it happen. They refused to police the thread and only closed it when two particular cis women started making violent threats against him for stating that their "kill all men including trans men, all men are rapists including trans men, all men are evil including trans men" was hurtful to see in a community that claimed to support everyone. Those two were allowed to stay in the group. He was told to "let it go" or leave. He chose to leave.
I cannot understand why so many within the LGBT community think that trans men and trans mascs aren't on the receiving end of transphobia, misogyny, and more. I don't understand why our words are so heavily policed. People have told me directly to my face that trans men do not experience misogyny because misogyny is "just for women". But then in the same breath they say "misandry isn't real" so trans men can't use that either to describe what happens to them. I've seen people go as far to say that because trans men are frequently erased and abandoned and left isolated until they kill themselves, because trans men go stealth or blend with GNC cis women (or in-betweener gender identities that are neither trans nor cis but no one likes talking about those), because trans men have an "easier" medical transition path (regardless of whether that's true or not), that trans men actually have it easy and that they don't really have any issues and thus do they even experience transphobia at all???
I've seen some real big brain shit takes about how trans men use the F markers on their paperwork to gain privilege, or how trans men "just have to bind and they're done", how trans men are born into privilege, and more. I don't know what world these people are living in. My world is not that clearcut or that easy. I've been transitioning socially for 16 years, fully out for about 8, and have not had a single dose of T but that didn't stop someone of saying I couldn't possibly know what she was going through transitioning "late" (in her mid-20s) because I transitioned as a teen. I'm 29 and have yet to start my medical transition journey. She blocked me when I corrected her.
In any case. I've been around for a long time. This is all cyclical old hat stuff that I saw back in the early/mid 2000s when I was figuring myself out. My best advice to you is to go hang out with LGBT people in real life, a group that's actually a community, loving, supportive, and leave this online bullshit for those who have nothing better to do than to run their mouths about experiences they clearly have no idea what they're talking about.
