#fantastic podium!! maybe my favorite of this season?????#sebmarkson podiums are my fav ever nothing can top them #and both mark and jense were being so cute with seb this race aaaahhhhhhh <333333 #theres something about seb that makes older men want to cuddle him and pick him up and pour champagne on him #haha thank you to dru for showing me seb getting drenched on this podium a few weeks and making me hype for this race!!#this race was very very good as well. like the last laps battle btwn mark and jense was insane #its very good when i already know the results of a race but the racing still makes me sit on the edge of my seat and scream a bit #i mentioned this before but i love how this race felt like an epilogue and it was nice to see everyone having fun and enjoying themseles #thank you everybody for joining me on another season journey!!! it been so much fun. ive really really enjoyed 2009 #brawn is just soooooo cool to me. their story is insane!! im glad ive gotten to watch thru this season before the docu abt them comes out #but also very fun to see the beginning of rbr getting to the top of the field. every good result just felt so rewarding and worth it #anyways dont wanna do too much commentary abt it since ive discussed it a lot. onto 2010 next!!!! i shall miss you 2009 #though i will say. it was rly interesting in this race to hear their team predictions for next season bcs a lot of it doesnt pan out #mark webber #jenson button #sebastian vettel #sebson #martian #sebmark #f1 #formula 1 #formula one #we do a little bit of f1 #2009 abu dhabi gp

Why are you so concerned with who has it worse? Why is trans men talking about their lived experiences, their struggles with the cis-hetero patriarchy, and their feelings classed as "speaking over trans women." This discussion isn't a pie. I am not coming onto blogs talking about transmisogyny and inserting myself into the conversation because it's rude. You would not in fact be having this conversation with me if you hadn't been trolling through the transandrophobia tag looking for something to get mad about.

Saw a Reddit post about a cis woman infantilizing trans men, and this is why I think cis women are THE most annoying version of transphobia in the world. Like yeah a cis man will tell you "kys tranny" but he's not very well going to take the time to psychologically torture you for the heck of it by treating you like you are exactly [three] years old.

every now and then I remember that time my transfem friend and I were talking about her trauma and her transition and suddenly she said "but yeah you didn't go through any of that because trans men don't get harassed or bullied and have it overall easier" and I just felt so deeply upset at how she just assumed all the pain I went through couldn't exist because I somehow had it easier. I didn't even say anything because I didn't want her to think I was angry at her, because if I do then suddenly I'm an Angry Man that's exaggerating

…sometimes I just. Think about. How literal siblings get stuck with rumors they’re dating, and m-f friendships often don’t get a chance to truly start or develop because of the strain those assumptions and pressure causes…

…while literal same-gender and aspec-affirming couples get slapped with “like siblings” this and “just really good friends” that.

And then how this gets even more reductive with infighting like “m-f friendships can only occur when one of them is homosexual,” or aspecs picking at eachother over rep until it’s a very specific type of aroace on the aroace spectrum of the aspec spectrums (and nobody’s actually happy), and of course fanon ships pitted against gen-no-ships…

…and how everyone just ends up feeling stressed out and invalidated. Because anything—and I do mean anything—that doesn’t fit neatly inside of the heteronormative narrative of “men and women can’t be friends, men and women must be romantically involved, people of the same gender and/or aspec/any other queer identity(ies) must never date.”

And how it makes the queers and cichets alike absolutely miserable.

about to leave a scathing review for a historical fiction book on goodreads (felt so strongly about it i made an account for the first time) then chickening out once i realised i'd put down my full name and i dont want to offend the author TOO much in case we end up working in the same field as historians

#missives #i admire her a lot too which sucks but holy shit. this book is bad its SO bad #maybe i'll post my review here just to get it out of my system #in essence its a book about a real historical figure but shes written in this way where literally all she ever does is serve men #and have babies continuously #and we're meant to believe she's fallen in love with her dropkick of a husband who does fuck all and is constantly abroad #and like. of course i can believe that's how some women were especially given their religious inclinations #but i could feel the feminism leaving my body the longer i read the book like it is that bad i felt like i was being brainwashed #it starts good like it goes into her childhood and relationship with her siblings #but then she just turns into her husband's mother essentially and its so revolting. and it doesnt even feel authentic? like #none of these people feel like real people. they dont fight they dont have nasty thoughts they are so fucking sanitised #i dont know what i expected.jpeg #and this woman is a historian!! she has a phd!!#yet she gets basic things wrong to an immersion-breaking degree #the whole thing is set during the civil wars but she NEVER talks about there being surgeons i have not seen a single mention of a surgeon #shes always referring to doctors and physicians but it's becoming apparent to me that when she says physician #shes just using it as an old timey word for doctor not because she properly understands the 17th century medical hierarchy #fucking hell. im so mad

So i just finished watching A league of Nobleman and I seriously had a blast watching it. It was really fun, the vibes were very cool, the characters were great. Some ridiculousness and convoluted stuff, especially towards the end, but you know what? I was still highly entertained so I don't care.

Also I knew about the 'no homo' line at the end, i just didnt know what it was exactly because i wanted to keep myself the surprised and I laughed so hard because... Like sure ok, i understand how for the sake of appearances it was a necessary line, but also... It was so dumb xD

Fritz is going to pass in history as the only person who got to do the most improbable and embrassing thing and to take Admiral Kazansky down with him. The man who's he worships the ground he walk on and who's been his greatest crush since when Bradely showed him a picture of his uncles back when he was ten years old. Frizt has a thing for older man and an even bigger things for Thomas Kazansky.

So when it happens and said Admiral ends up on him, face at least than once centimetre away, he feels like heaven has opened his door for him and only him. He takes to feel like that for almost two entire minutes before everyone and their staff manager is shouting and taking Admiral Kazansky away from his chest. He misses him already.

They're gonna talk about this at his wedding and during his eulogy, years from now, because it was so awsome. Not the part where he tripped in front of all the people he could have tripped in front of but, y'know, the following part was actually so awsome.

Phoenix is at his right, Roo at his left and Vice Admiral Cyclone is patting Admiral Kazansky everywhere to see if it's okay. And the Admiral is laughing, full blown scale laugh. Simpson check the kid, I'm alright, and try to not made his life impossible. It wasn't his fault. Fitz is looking at this man, a couple of steps from him, standing up, straightening his uniform and coming towards him with his end out to help him on his feet and he can't find a single word to say to him if not I'm so sorry Admiral.

Think nothing of it ki-Lieutenant, you probably saved me from hours of long boring speeches. Let's get your ribs checked, I'm not as lit as I was thirty years ago.

People are going to talk about this day yes, at his wedding and at his funeral, as the day he tripped, took down Admiral Kazansky with him and then Admiral Kazansky himself took him, with an arm around his shoulder to the doctor. Ah, fuck them and their eating together with the Admiral, he got the preferential treatment and the man is hugging him! Or at least he's giving half of a hug. Fritz isn't pitchy.

(Captain Mitchell is sitting on one that blue and really uncomfortable hospital chairs, when Fritz finishes with the doctor. He's looking at him without really been looking at him and, the moment the Admiral is out of the room too, Maverick is on his feet.

I get held back once because of paperwork and you fall on one of my students! And worst of all they call me telling me you were in an accident and at the hospital, Frizt know he isn't quiet screaming but he feels like the man had quiet a scare, maybe he should intervene to say it wasn't the Admiral's fault? But worst of it all Iceman no one, and I say no one, not even Rooster that little traitor, filmed it. Now I'll have to leave with the idea of what it happened without having hard proof of you being clumsy once in a while.

Oh, that's and interesting turn of events, maybe someone should fetch him pop corn if they're going to be there for a little longer? But then they are both laughing, and Maverick is gently moving the Admiral's face to check if everything's okay before kissing his nose. You're allowed to have this kind of fun without me, got it Kazansy?

Yeah, whatever makes you sleep at night Mav he answers sweetly before kissing him on the lips, once and then a second time. Yep, Fritz is gonna need popcorn, ASAP.)

((In the next two days the Admiral comes around during class to check if he's really okay and if he feels like flying or not. Frizt would very much like to inform this man that he's already personally flying without the need of a plane, thank you very much sir.))

Not Helena Bonham Carter saying it’s not ok for people to “witch hunt” JK but is ok for JK to inspire witch hunts for minorities using her mass fame to do it.
