fic rec friday 21

welcome to the twenty-first fic rec friday! where, on friday, i rec five of my favourite fics.

1. Most Artists are Messy by @shipsgalore

Lance is drawing a complicated flower on the base of Keith’s wrist and it makes his lips pull up into a smile despite the panic. They’re always flowers when it comes to Lance. He uses them in everything he does, and usually doesn’t even know he’s doing it. Keith can count on one hand how many times the doodles on his arms haven’t been of flowers.

i love this one because keith & lance are just blatantly and clearly autistic. it’s wonderful. it’s sweet and fluffy and it’s a modern au, which as y’all know is my jam, and the last few paragraphs do this specific thing with sentiment repetition that genuinely gets to me every time

2. Be Alive With Me Tonight by @caesaria [EXPLICIT] [ABO]

When the Blade of Marmora requests assistance on an information gathering mission, Lance and Keith go undercover as a bonded alpha and omega pair. At first, it seems like this is going to be more like a vacation than a mission – right up until everything falls apart and they realize how unprepared they really are. Now, Lance and Keith have to fight to not only survive, but to make it out together. They’ll have to rely not only on their skills as Paladin, but the bond they’ve created and nurtured between them.

okay i gave this one the explicit warning bc there are chapters that are explicit, but tbh the scenes are skippable if that’s not ur thing. now this fic is an EPIC. truly. its a quarter million words and the plot is breathtaking, the worldbuilding is iconic and the romance is like HOLY SHIT. this is a novel, and better yet its a KLANCE novel, so. highly recommend if you have a day or two to read.

Lance is always getting flowers for Keith, so Keith decides to return the favor--with a little help, of course.

keith is hilarious here. just in general but here especially and i love him. he wants to pamper lance so so badly and hes so straightforward and earnest!! and allura’s character in here is also excellent. i will leave u with this one line from the fic that made me laugh it loud: “ The next day, the sun rises to Keith Kogane, dressed all in black (that’s all that was clean, okay?!), loitering around in front of Alluring Blossom, the 5-star-rated “I’ve never had such a delightful bouquet delivered to me in my entire life!” flower shop of a woman named Allura Altea. Keith automatically trusted her because he loves people that also have alliteration in their names. “ king. love him

Keith watched a lonely droplet of water fall from Lance’s soaked bangs, curving a path over the bridge of his nose and then pooling—almost teasingly so—at the bow of his lips.

“I feel like I won, for some reason,” Lance said quietly.

what have i told yall about fics from 2016!!! this fic made me SMILE and im not usually a fan of like senior year of high school fics but holy shit!! holy SHIT!! this fic had me smiling and kicking my feet and losing my mind. i will leave u with the note i put on my bookmark (spoiler warning):

a couple things: 1. “lance is a bad influence” and “lance is a pretty princess (tm)” are god tier tags so thanks for that 2. keith with a tongue piercing. must i say more. 3. i miss keith gyeong that was an excellent era 4. the couple tattoo moment had me taking a Moment 5. here’s how i imagine the aftermath of this: shiro: i saw u ditched prom. are you okay? keith: yeah actually! lance convinced me that we have to have a wild final night, so we went to a High School Party (tm), i decked a guy for lance and your honour, we panic drove away, went skinny dipping in a pool, got caught, ran away naked for two blocks, went to sonic in another town, got matching tattoos, fucked in the backseat of my car, and watched the sunrise :)) shiro: shiro: shiro: shiro: i’m sorry. what were those last parts keith: yeah i know you really like sunrises we probably should have invited you :// but it was kind of an us thing i’m sure you understand :) shiro: KEITH

“It’s … Your show is on so late at night,” Keith tries to explain, as if Lance didn’t know this already. “I guess I was just wondering why that is.”

A crackling silence answers him, and Keith’s stomach sinks. Did Lance hang up? Keith can’t exactly blame him.

But then he hears Lance make a noise––a short huff of breath that might have been either an impatient sigh or a quiet laugh … Keith has no clue.

“That’s the reason you’re calling? To complain about my time slot?”

or, Keith starts anonymously calling Lance's college radio show and develops an unexpected crush.

@catnippackets did a comic of this i believe, and it literally never leaves my head. yall know the trope where one person gets a phone call and halfway through they sigh wistfully and say “god i wish you were here” and then the other person smiles so viscerally it can be felt through the phone and they say “look behind you” and theyre THERE?????? that makes me lose it every time. i love this fic

WIP Whenever

I'm also one of those kinds of people who don't have too many WIPs cause I don't like leaving things... 'unfinished' per say. If it stayed a WIP, there's probably a reason to it like shift in focus or could not fish out what I had for its vision from the squirrel that is my brain.

But, I do have a lot of messy doodles (mainly of my FFXIV bun) that are one and done never to rly see the light of day.

I love him to bits, though. My sleep deprived, caffeine addicted bunny blorbo my beloved.

Various... concepts of a personified Unum...? I got hung up on how the Unum spoke during the New War. Something something Continuity turned a pretty lady into a neural sentry

Second one was sorta an OC lore bit.. got pretty far into it which digging it up makes me want to revisit eventually.

big ol messy doodle dump collected from the past....awhile...? about team AGES 1.0/the previous heroes of light

no but seriously i’ve been accumulating these for. Some Time. and also used them for brush tests and other experiments. so that’s why the art style is all over the damn place

far too much elaboration/headcanons under the cut:

- everyone but Aileen is in their early-to-mid thirties (just based on general Bravely Facial Structure rules, they look like they’ve made it past the 30 cutoff to start growing noses and cheekbones)

- Sloan is a lot rasher and dumber at the start of the adventure than the younger version of him we see in flashbacks etc. He grows up though.

Extremely Loyal Knight TM wars with his personal feelings, and he has a tendency to prioritize his mission over the good of the people sometimes (which clashes hard with Emma.)

Born in a small village but has been living in Musa since meeting Godric as a mercenary some years ago. Agrees to accompany Godric as personal bodyguard on his quest because besties.

Awakens his crystal very early on when Godric comes under threat, cinching his loyalty despite having been a mere mercenary up to that point and unsure if he was a True Knight. Godric formally knights him afterwards and he becomes Sir Sloan.

As long as he insists on always calling Godric “Your Majesty,” Godric insists on always calling him “Sir Sloan,” although that makes him mad because Godric shouldn’t have to use a formal title for him. Meanwhile Godric says the other three should call him by name and Sloan is the only one who refuses. It’s now become a mutual pride thing.

After he finds out about Aileen she also becomes “Your Majesty” which ticks her off because fairies don’t use titles like that and nothing’s changed anyway. He’s very stubborn. Also it can be very confusing to have two Majesties but this doesn’t stop him.

- Godric is just generally the Nice One and the one who does most of the real leading from behind (much like how Gloria is really in charge of the party, not Seth, although Godric is much more “nice” than Gloria.)

Has known his whole life he would probably have to be the sacrifice, especially after his mother died, but now that he has a young son, is determined to live for his child’s sake and find the alleged “other way” to defeat the nexus his mother had been researching. So he and Sloan set out on ~a quest~ and meet the others shortly afterwards (bravely parties never take too long to form.)

He probably just has the crystals with him from the start, but maybe they lose them? Idk haven’t decided. Get them back by the end either way though.

Awakens his crystal after Sloan tells him to run and save himself -- as king and the only adult member of the royal family, his life is too valuable, think of his son, blah blah blah. Godric considers it but ultimately refuses and awakens the water crystal instead when he does.

I have not decided if Godric/Sloan is just an eternal mutual pining thing or not yet. Honestly that feels more fitting for the characters BUT like. also feels very cruel. undecided. Nobody’s cheating on anybody though! I haven’t figured out the exact timeline or what my headcanons are but I’m sure of that bit.

Gloria’s earrings are made from the gem in his staff

- Emma is still technically in training (although clearly has magical skills far beyond anyone else) and Extremely prickly to the other three early on. And still kind of prickly to Sloan in particular, forever. She does love them very much though, just don’t try and get her to express it.

Very focused on the will of the common over greater good and fights with Sloan over it frequently, ultimately decides to continue the quest not for Musa or for the Crystals, but in hope of preventing others from having to suffer the way they have under the Nexus (which....yeah)

Wiswald isn’t Wiswald yet, just (in Sloan’s mind) a tiny village in the middle of a forest, but when it gets attacked by a Nexus monster Emma loses her shit and awakens her crystal, ultimately creating what would become the Great Tree when she destroys it.

Sloan: “oh no that maiden is being set upon by dangerous beasts!” Godric: “Yes we must help at once!” Emma: *explodes everything in the vicinity* (and that’s how they meet)

I have her freelancer design in my emma tag btw

- Aileen being a beastmaster is based on the Sylvan Bow description, which reads “a bow fashioned from the bone of a mighty beast that once belonged to the Queen of the Fairies.” Obviously you can read that sentence two ways but well. Beastmaster feels more fun for her than ranger to me + then I can make her walking stick a lance + it would explain why all these dangerous monsters live in the fount and Esmerelda apparently has a soft spot for them.

She’s probably kind of a combination of “peacemaker motherly figure” and “nightmare who causes endless grief for the other three by doing extremely irresponsible things.” Also hides her identity for the first arc or so until it’s forced out, and then once it does come out, casually drops the fact that she’s not just a fairy but the goddamn queen later on. Much wiser than she ever lets on, though. Very good with monsters and animals.

Most of the asterisks are stolen from her and are recovered throughout the story. She never had bravebearer to start with, though -- it was lost many centuries ago, and even she doesn’t know much about it (she only became queen in the last four hundred years.)

“oh i’m just a poor feeble little old lady” “Aileen you can throw a man three times your size”

Very much wants to reconcile humans and fairies, as she is the only fairy old enough to clearly remember a long time before the Nexus and the rift happened (Esmerelda is the only other one who can remember, and was considered quite young in fairy years.) Has spent many years in Mag Mell, but when she heard the Nexus rise again, decided it wasn’t fair to have the humans deal with it alone yet again. Hopes that if they can destroy the monster, they can destroy the old grudge as well.

Awakens her crystal in the Rimedhal area in front of Domenic, who knows she’s a fairy (canon.) Haven’t come up with the exact scenario, but probably involves a grand gesture trying to bridge the gap between humans and fairies (and while things look promising at the time...obviously it doesn’t last.)

- Their journey mostly focuses on finding the centuries-lost bravebearer asterisk, said to be the key to defeating the Nexus. However, they never hear of or find the book, so it’s futile from the start.

The world is being set upon by dangerous monsters infused with dark energy (the Nexus) which serve as the main enemies. There might also be some Nexus-corrupted people using the missing asterisks which have to be reclaimed and collected for our guys to use.

I think these four would have stronger “canon” stat differences than their counterparts -- Godric and Emma would have a heavy magic lean while Sloan and Aileen would have a heavy physical lean.

Overall their quest takes at least a few years, and we go from “seas and winds kinda acting weird” to “clearly the world is on the brink of ending.” At which point, despite all knowing they aren’t quite prepared enough, everyone has no choice but to go after the Nexus.

- My attempt to piece together the Aileen situation: Aileen is devoured by the Nexus while protecting the other three, but the Crystals revive her. They tell her to wait for a visitor by the sea, and then she will be allowed to die. However, they cannot fully undo what the Nexus did to her, and as a result, nobody has clear memories of her remaining - only that she existed. Emma manages to find her again a few years later and Aileen explains this, but even then Emma can’t clearly picture her anymore. Aileen leaves the asterisks (minus salve-maker in Enderno and black mage with Emma) at the border to Mag Mell (she can’t reenter as nobody knows who she is anymore) and Esmerelda finds and returns them to the Fount until Edna steals them again.

After she plays her role fifty years later, she dies instantly, and all recent memory of her fades completely. If asked in Mag Mell, the fairies would think she died fifty years ago and Esmerelda has been queen since. She is actually remembered within the afterlife, though, and the current Heroes Of Light are vaguely aware she helped them, if not anything of what she looked like or who she was.

- The bravebearer asterisk breaks, Godric sacrifices himself and asks Sloan to look after his son for him. Sloan takes this job Very Seriously as we all know. Godric’s dying words are reassurance that the light will come again, in time, and an implication he has a dying vision of the future.

Sloan and Emma, as the only survivors, return Godric’s body to Musa and then part, never seeing each other again without the other two holding them together. There’s still mutual respect and friendship, but they aren’t able to act on it, and can’t help blaming both each other and themselves despite knowing it’s unfair. They do speak of each other fondly to their respective wards fifty years later, though, as we know.

With Aileen and Godric gone and Sloan busy in Musa, Emma takes it upon herself to pave the way for the next Heroes of Light (although she thinks it’ll be much longer than it ends up being.) Ultimately leads her to the book in her last years of life. Hears of what happened in Musa and knows what it probably means, but no longer has the strength at that point to do anything but continue her research, dying about two years later.

Sloan and Emma both have hunches about Gloria and Elvis respectively but really, really hope they’re wrong. After Musa falls, Sloan knows he is most likely raising the next sacrifice, but when Seth shows up and awakens the wind crystal (and brings along two weirdly fitting friends), he hopes Gloria will be the one to use the crystals and find a way to live.

How I organize my studies with mental health issues

Hi :) I’m just here trying to survive a computer science degree with CPTSD, depression, anxiety, and some physical health issues. However, I’ve figured out a system that really (!!!) helps me keep organized and actually learn things despite all the challenges I face! So, I want to share it with you in case it helps just one person! This post is pretty long, but I promise it’s got tons and tons of amazingly helpful information in it!

I’m lucky enough to have a tablet to help me with my studies, but anything I show today can easily be done on a laptop or even on a phone, so don’t stress!

Initial Note Taking

I prefer to handwrite my initial notes if possible. Sometimes, my professors just go too fast and I have to type them, but if I have the option, I choose to handwrite them. I find that handwriting my notes helps keep my mind focused on the task at hand.

First of all, I’m a very tactile learner, so the act of writing helps me learn the material. However, I’ve found that there are tons of other benefits to writing notes by hand.

If you’re dissociating/anxious/etc., doodling is a good way to center yourself and help yourself calm down.

Handwritten notes are easier (at least in my non-professional opinion) to make neat and pretty, which can be a huge motivator.

Many classes have diagrams, and it’s super helpful to draw these out so that you’re more likely to remember them and so you have easy access to them.

For people who are nonlinear thinkers (NOT me at all, but I know some people are nonlinear thinkers), you can write your notes in any way you see fit - a circle, a mind map, a graph, even a dodecahedron if you so desire.

And there are tons of others I don’t have time to thoroughly explain!

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with typing notes if you feel that that works better for you. I have to do that for some classes (Geology, I’m looking at you), and I don’t prefer to type my notes, but some people find that they prefer it, and that’s totally okay! There are a few quick things to keep in mind if you choose to take typed notes, however:

I find it very helpful to keep a notepad near me so that I can doodle (again for dissociation/anxiety/etc.) and so that I can draw diagrams if necessary. I’m not talented enough to create computer diagrams quickly, so I usually draw them by hand even if I’m typing my actual notes.

Put in the effort to make sure you aren’t distracted by other things on your laptop! Typing notes can be a great thing, but technology is very quick to distract people. One method I find good for me is to make my notes full screen so that it’s harder to find things to get distracted by, but there are many methods for this.

Try to keep your typed notes tidy and organized. For me, this includes having consistent tab distances, changing font colors/styles (by styles I mean bold/italic/etc.) as necessary, and most of all splitting up my notes into documents by days or topics. I use Evernote, so it’s pretty straightforward to split them up, but even if you use another system, it’s wise to figure out a way to do so. Having one long document for the entire semester is not wise because it gets very overwhelming very quickly and is just plain hard to use.

The biggest help for me, however, is after I’ve taken my notes. I use Evernote to digitize my notes. It’s super easy to do (just take a picture in the app and it scans them like a PDF), and I find that having them digital is a huge help. It means a few things for me:

I don’t have to have every notebook with me to study - just the ones I need to take notes in. This is far more related to physical health for me because I just can’t carry that many notebooks without a lot of pain, but it’s also great for people who are forgetful due to mental health issues. All you have to remember is your laptop or tablet (or really, even your phone), so it’s much easier to make sure you have everything.

I can write all over them when I’m studying without ruining the original notes. I am a big fan of scribbling all over notes (writing mnemonics, drawing diagrams, marking what I know and don’t know, etc.), but I dislike damaging my original notes. This allows me to study as messily as I want without ruining anything.

I can make multiple copies of them if I need to - one for the class I took the notes in and one for my exam revision session. This is very helpful for people who aren’t feeling well enough to rewrite or retype everything into another place when revising for an exam.

Here’s what some of my digitized notes from my operating systems class look like (please forgive my very messy drawing - OS is hard to draw sometimes):

General Studying

This section refers to studying, but not for exams. This includes things such as doing assignments, reading for classes, and other such things. The most important thing for my studying is Google Tasks! I keep all my important due dates in there, even down to the time. Here’s an example of what my Google Tasks looks like:

Apologies for the blacked-out spot - that reveals where I go to school! I use this for every single thing that has a hard due date. This makes sure that I never miss a due date no matter how forgetful I am because my list of due dates is on my cell phone! I also find it extremely rewarding to tick the box when I finish an assignment, and even something as simple as that is such a huge motivator for me.

However, this isn’t where I plan how to study for the week. I do that - you guessed it - on paper. I have a journal (which you’ll get to see in another post) where I keep a lot of important stuff - including weekly study plan spreads! That sounds super overwhelming, but they’re incredibly easy to make and very simple to maintain. I’ll show you (artful pen to hide my school name)!

Let me break this down for you really quickly:

I have my pages divided into four (one quadrant per day plus one for notes), which works pretty well for me - I never run out of space. This setup takes me less than five minutes to make each week, and I find it works very well for me.

I like to write what classes I have each day at the top of the day just so I don’t get too confused (and I highlight it if I have an exam), then underneath that, I list everything I have to do study-wise.

I make sure to break each big task (e.g. “Study for Geology Exam) into smaller, more manageable chunks (e.g. “Make Geology flashcards,” “Revise Ch. 6 Notes,” etc.) all on different days of the week. This helps make each task seem way less overwhelming and makes me feel better about starting each task.

As you can see, my due dates are NOT on this sheet - this is more of a Study To-Do List than a list of my due dates. I do make sure to keep this updated so that I don’t miss any due dates, however.

You’ll also notice that I don’t have all that much listed for each day. It’s incredibly hard to stay ahead of things with mental health issues (I get that - I really do), but I find that staying ahead genuinely helps my mental health. If I have something to do every day, I feel productive and thus more motivated. It also gives me more leeway if I have a day where I can’t do any more than the bare minimum - I’m already ahead of schedule so I don’t need to panic. My best method for staying ahead is just to buckle down and do it. It’s not a great tip, but it’s all I’ve got (I’m allowed to struggle too - I don’t have everything together perfectly!).

Now, let’s talk about how to tackle each thing on this list.

Readings! When I have to do readings, my preferred method of note-taking is simply writing down definitions of keywords. Most of what I cover in the reading will be covered in the lecture, so I’m not too worried about jotting down every detail. However, making sure to note key words helps keep my brain engaged so I am less likely to zone out/dissociate/etc. Additionally, I can go back to those keywords to make flashcards later on.

Assignments! There’s not a whole lot to say about this one - every assignment is so different that I can’t say much beyond “do your assignments thoroughly.” However, a tip I find helps me a lot is to fully read the assignment and create a game plan before I dive in. This makes the assignment way less overwhelming and gives you concrete stopping points if you need a break.

Studying! will have its own section right below this, do not fear.

Studying

Watch this quick video (which is at the bottom of the text for some unknown reason?) of me scrolling through a study session, then I’ll explain how I study and why it works for me!

Let me just list my Studying Steps (TM) for you and break them down:

About a week before: Write all the information in a clear, consistent way.

By this I mean: Go through your notes/the slides/the textbook/anything with information and write it down freshly. I prefer (like usual) to handwrite this, but it can certainly be typed.

This is good because it requires you to reread and rewrite every piece of information, so you’re that much more likely to remember it. It also gives you all the information consolidated in one place. I like to split this up by topic (for me, each topic takes about 30 minutes to do) so that it’s more manageable.

This seems like a lot, and it is. But, you have to study and there’s no way around that, unfortunately. Try motivating yourself with small rewards (like food, stickers, or something fun) when you finish a topic.

When you finish that: Make charts and graphs for anything that requires charts and graphs.

The diagrams part is pretty self-explanatory. If you have diagrams, redraw them on their own sheet. This makes them less cluttered and you can write things like mnemonics on them without messing up anything else. Redrawing them is also great for muscle memory!

I also like to make charts of things that I need to memorize (this is a good tool, but isn’t always right for every subject). For example, if I need to know a lot of types of rocks, I’ll make charts listing each rock and its characteristics. This way it’s easier to find the information and (once again) muscle memory will help you out.

This can be done pretty quickly, and it’s a pretty brainless activity. It’s not hard to do, so you can do it while watching Netflix if you want to. I honestly enjoy this part, though, because I find drawing charts and graphs very satisfying.

About 3 days before: Make flashcards and study them consistently.

This is very important!

I like to use paper flashcards (just so I have to write the information once again), but digital ones work fairly well too.

Memorization is actually a fantastic tool to help with studying with mental health issues. Sometimes brain fogginess makes it hard to think of things that you know, but couldn’t recite. However, if you have it fully memorized, it’s generally much easier to pull out of the depths of your mind.

Once again, this is pretty easy to do (not quick though, sorry), and can be done while you’re doing something else more fun.

The day before: Go through your notes, annotate what you don’t know, and rewrite it until you know it.

This is the most important part of studying for me.

The evening before the exam, I go through every bit of my notes, charts, graphs, etc. and highlight what I 100% know.

Then, I take more paper (or often a digital piece of paper) and write out what I know, trying to focus my energy on finding ways to remember the information such as mnemonics, word associations, or the like.

I do this as many times as I need to until I feel good about how much information I have highlighted - I try to get to 85-90%, but that can vary by subject.

This is kind of tedious, but I find it easier to motivate myself since it is the final stretch. I’m also usually kind of stressed out about the exam by this point, so that works as a good motivator too.

Lina:

1. What does their bedroom look like?

Her bedroom is super messy, like you cant walk in her room, there or only a couple areas to step that have been strategically planned so that she can get anywhere she needs in the dark, to anyone else, her room is a nightmare, she has her most prized items on her most of the time, but she keeps trinkets from things all over the place, usually on a shelve or a dresser not on the floor. a dresser drawer is usually left open, her queen sized bed (she sleeps all over the place, tosses and turns too much to be on a single bed, she’d fall off) is usually poorly made.how she even has enough stuff to make her bedroom a nightmare to see idk, but she does.

35. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?

lina enjoys swimming but mostly considers it to be a waste of time as its out of the way, and other than some athletic advantage all really does is make her hair icky from chlorine which she then has to take care of later. she also considers sleep to be a waste of time, she enjoys it n nightmare free nights, but she really believes that its waste to sleep half ones life away.

36. What makes them feel guilty?

She feels guilty eating the last of anything, like if there is a box of cereal, and its almost empty, and she finishes it off, she feels guilty, worrying that maybe someone else wanted some, and now there is none. her past also makes her feel guilty on bad nights where she cant sleep and all she thinks about are the people she’s hurt, how she wanted to do good and somewhere down the line good and bad started becoming more and more blurred she has sleepless nights. she got her tattoo on one of those nights whoops

45. Superstitions or views on the occult?

She’s not necessarily superstitious, wont throw salt over her shoulder, or anything like that, but she does lean closer to perhaps believing superstitions that have to do with the military, or life saving luck, like if she shoots a sniper thats abut to snipe her, if she has time, she’ll track him down and take the bullet from the chamber, the one that was about to kill her, and turn it into a necklace for luck. or she may have barely pulled out of a fight while she was wearing a specific earring and now wears it all the time because she probably should have died there and she needs all the help she can get.

Claire:

7.Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time

Her favorite way to waste time would be window shopping, she has the money to buy things, she’s actually loaded, but if she’s not harasing a retail worker just because she can, and her dad can get her out of anything, its window shopping, not that she’d tell anyone she likes to window shop, because in her culture that only a thing for pathectic poor people, but she actually enjoys looking around with out the intention of buying anything, seeing what stores carry, there is something about not having to buy anything that just feels kind of freeing to her.

22.Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

Well she’d start off writing list of things that she wants, like dream goals, her future legacy if you will, and as some point she’d start doodling some fashion ideas, for the sake of if someone came back to look at this because no one expects her to actually think about what she ants her legacy to be thats just not what is expected of her therefore she cant do it without some ditsy addition to the page, because she actually does think about the future and what she wants, but was raised to know is not acceptable for someone of her station to want to be know for her success in the math field, women of her station dont think about complex mathematical equations, that’s below them

49. If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?

HOO BOY, so she’d freak out, try ad fight in that weird way that people with nails and hair do, scratching their opponent while keeping their body as far away as possible, and attempting to get a grip on the others hair to pull on it, she’d be down i one punch, cant fight at all.

Ash (triangle face):

1. What does their bedroom look like?

Neat, clean, never even a speck of dust. their single bed is always perfectly made, their clothes are always where they belong (unless for some reason lina visits, then their room looks like a tornado hit it, for like fifteen minutes, because Ash can not stand the mess longer than that) they usually have a couple papers neatly stacked on their night stand of whatever project they’re currently working on or looking into.

26. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?

Well they really wants to get back to their planet, so their plans are to figure out where their planet is, and get back to it, while not upsetting the current way things are going on earth. if it becomes apparent that earth just doesn’t have any means for them to get back, they plan on going into politics, their family had a legacy of excellent political leaders and they were training to be an ambassador for their planet when their ship went off course and they ended up crashed on earth.

28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

Ash does not really think of things in terms of friends and enemy's, they see people more as a potential pawn, for lack of better word, Maxwell would probably be the closest thing to a best friend, they grew up together and he knows how Ash thinks and processes things better than anyone else. Lina would probably be the closest thing to their enemy at the moment, as lina is everything Ash is not, and if ash did attempt to get into politics here, Lina would probably cause their downfall in one round about way or another, Ash just doesn’t really like lina.
