@thelightofmylife hello Angell!! It’s me again, I really still can’t get enough of your HSR writing, I’ve been eating it everyday and repeatedly read it hehehe

If I may— have you considered a gentle, sincere, and kind reader with Aventurine? Someone who is patient with him and is willing to be with him despite everything… loving and everything.

I personally thought this worked so well as a prompt w Aventurine considering what a sad pile of noodles he is,,, but I also think (optional) this would work beautifully with Sunday, Welt, and Jing Yuan.

A/N: Why do they always give these characters the most messed up backstories? Can't they just be happy?

Aventurine already had doubts about you loving him from the very beginning. There are too many ways this can go wrong, he always had to play it off when you kiss him so softly and tell him you love him without wanting to manipulate him. Of course you love him! Cause he's so cool and charming! He hates keeping you at arms length when all you want is genuinely love him.

Jing Yuan has been through a lot in his life, battles, seeing people he loves die, he's not about to add you to that list. It's very obvious that you love him, he loves you too, he kisses you all the time but at the same that that love is a risk, a target on your back. That's why he has to keep a close eye on you, he wants to spend all his free time with you and make lots of memories.

Sunday knows you love him but can't help but think it might be because of his important family and not himself. That happened to him before so you understand why he was a bit cold towards you at first. He's not cold anymore, actually he's quite open with his affections and happy you return them. As long as you're by his side he feels like he can handle anything.

Welt felt respectable for you somehow, like it was up to him to make sure you have everything you need and that you're happy. Completely forgot about his own well being so he's always grateful when you pull him on an early work break and it him down in the comfiest chair for a little cuddle session. A guy like him doesn't need much affection in front of others but he is more than happy to get it in private.

he’ll be worried too if you overworked yourself. he’ll ne the one who always remind you to take a rest and eat properly.

if you had a rough time at school, your escape would be him. spending time with him would let go all of the burden on your shoulders. ESPECIALLY, you could burry your face onto his broad chest and rant about what happened in your school.

aside from all of the school stuff, he’s just going to be the best boyfriend ever. with the best effort and he wants to be the best for you and you’ll always tell him that he’s just the best.

“And where the hell have you been?” Sam asked when you eventually walked back into the apartment. “I’ve been calling you for hours!”

“Out,” you said simply, putting your bag down on the side table.

Sam approached you, leaning in close to study your face. “Are you drunk?!” he asked.

“What are you, my mother?” you scoffed as you moved past him and into the kitchen. You were still drunk, so you needed to pour yourself a glass of water to mitigate the hangover you’d no doubt have in the morning.

“Pocket,” Sam followed you and leaned on the counter as you sat on one of the kitchen island stools, “we’re on assignment. You can’t go off for hours without telling me to get plastered!”

He was right, you knew that, but your pride, and the alcohol, wasn’t going to let you admit it. “Forgive me for taking a few hours off,” you snapped back at him. “Shaking my ass for intel is exhausting, and I deserved a break.”

“Don’t pretend this is because you wanted a ‘break,’” Sam said. “You freaked out because of Bucky and you ran off to spiral.” His voice softened. “But you can’t do that, Baby Girl. Not right now. Not when women are counting on us.”

Oof. That got you where it hurts. “Did you relay the info I gave you?” you asked him, hoping to avoid any further discussion of your transgressions. If he found out you’d also gone out for a fuck with a complete stranger, he’d be livid.

“Yeah,” Sam said, and you were grateful he seemed willing to let it go, as well. “They think it’s a promising lead, and they’re gonna have… some people look into it.”

Some people. Safe words for Barnes and Carthage, no doubt, given they had the most experience with Hydra.

“You did good, Baby Girl,” Sam added.

You nodded, suddenly exhausted. You stood from your stool and picked up your glass of water. “I’m gonna go to bed. Night, Sam.”

You were almost out of the room when Sam called your name. You turned to look at him. “I don’t know if I should be telling you this or not, but, you should know– he was yelling at her to leave him alone, says she won’t stop following him around the Tower. He keeps tryin’ to avoid her, doesn’t want her near him, but she keeps poppin’ up like a bad penny.”

You didn’t need to ask who he was talking about.

“You’re right,” you said, turning to walk away again, and feeling utterly drained. “You shouldn’t have told me. It’s too little, too late now, and he only has himself to blame for it. I’m tired of caring.”

Summary - Benedict hates making decisions, whereas his wife doesn't mind

Warning - just some fluff

“Ah, there you are darling!”

Benedict popped his head up at the sound of your voice, you closing the door behind you to give the pair of you privacy in his personal studio. He had a sketch book in hand, sitting at his desk that was clustered with paperwork and some ball invitations, a common custom for a newlywed couple during the Season. Though that was not on your mind, and clearly not on Benedict’s since he liked rather stressed and anything with his charcoal in hand and a knitted look to his brow.

You eyed him in concern, “What’s the matter?”

“Nothing highly important, my dear,” He replied in a huff, though he smiled at you as you glided over to the desk and perched slightly on the top with your arms folded, “I’m simply too stressed to draw anything.”

“Is it the invitations?” You asked him, looking over at the pile briefly to see the plenty of enveloped labeled “Bridgerton” on the top. There had to haven been at least 15 invitations there in all shapes and sizes. You and Benedict were looking forward to some time before as Newlyweds, initially you both going to go a holiday together away from the city for at least a few weeks before finally settling into your new life together. But of course, society and the new season around the corner seemed to think otherwise, already sending you plenty of letters and invitations to both friends and aquaintances of your families. Although you both loved going to these balls, mainly because you two met at a ball one season ago, it was much better to be together and have that alone time.

“You know, we can always say no to these,” You admitted to him, seeing him crack a slight smile, “I bet you anything that some of these balls are going to be happening at the same time anyways. I think some of these families are going to understand us not attending,”

You loved your new husband to death, but sometimes he was a bit of a people pleaser when it came to society and his reputation. His family was well known throughout the town, and the last thing Benedict and his family wanted to do was to have negativity against their name. Even when you met him and knew of his name, you heard plenty of stories and fake gossip. But those rumors and tall tales were swept away as you fell in love with Benedict and how he slipped into your heart.

“You make it sound very easy, darling. But we can’t just—“ You stopped him from talking anymore as you huffed and grabbed the large pile of invitations in your fingers. You placed them in your lap, Benedict watching with wide eyes as you were now flicking through every single envelope while looking at the label to see the family who sent it.

“Yes….not them…..their parties are mediocre…..hate that family,” You were sorting them rapidly, putting the good invitations on the left and tossing the rejected ones to the right. Benedict’s mind was spinning, his head moving back and forth as you were still going over each other and looking rather calm and cool about it.

“Their reputation is terrible…..the party last year was a disaster….they’re lovely….I love their mother….and done!” You said in a smile, placing the last envelope on the approval pile before look over at your husband again with a shrug, “That was easy!”

Benedict was still in shock, getting up from his chair and gesturing back at forth between the two piles,

“How….how did you..”

“Darling,” You replied, sitting up to be toe to toe with Benedict as he was grinning down at you, “I happen to know all of these families thanks to my mother and father. After going to plenty of these balls, I tend to pick up on the good ones and the bad ones,”

“Yet you choose so nonchalantly and with ease,” Benedict comment as you laughed.

“I’ve done it before, plenty of times when I came out in society. In fact, the very ball where you and I met was a result in me doing this very practice,” You explained, Benedict tilting his head at you as you admitted that to him. It was true, you choosing the ball to attending as a guest so long ago and making your mother go ballistic. She thought of it as brash, too bold, and because of your own stuborness you would not be seen or eligible for marriage.

She almost lost it from the news of Benedict asking to court you.

“I’m glad you decided to go that night, as was I since I was smitten with you and that midnight blue dress you wore,” He explained, lacing your fingers together and leaning down to kiss the top of your head with gentlest and affection, “Since then, you’ve been so good to me,”

“As you to me,” You hummed in agreement, “I do believe that we compliment each other rather well compared to our friends,”

“I don’t tend to think of other couples and other marriages, I happy to like my own marriage,” he joked, though you could see the love in his eyes and hear it in his voice. Benedict was over the moon when you two danced for the first time, even after when you two snuck away and talked about art and going to art school. He was surprised with your interest in art, though you were no artist yourself but you wished to learn the history. You in return would listen to him for hours in end talking about his own love for art and how he preferred painting over sketching.

It was obvious that you two liked one another, and the rest of history.

“Don’t think I don’t, because I do,” You agreed, kissing him lightly and giving him a slight tug with your joined hands, “Now, let’s get to bed. No need to think of these invitations.”

Benedict followed you willingly, leaving the stack of envelopes behind as well as his sketch that he was drawing, that sketch happened to be your profile.

Honestly confused whether we’re not really supposed to notice something. She hasn’t been publicly nice to him for over a week. Like, I know she likes to take the piss and all, but usually it felt like there was some real fondness behind it. This week it has all just been very flat. it’s weird because they’re both normally so careful about their image. And yet she can’t even say anything nice on his birthday? And now silence. I wonder if there were more birthday plans this weekend…

Everyone is noticing something is off, but simply some choose to say it is off, and some choose to lash out on others because their fantasy is being threatened. I’d be shitting myself too if I spent all my time being vile about a group of people and now I’d be feeling like they might have been right.

Are we really going to scream “coincidence” once again… how many coincidences before it’s not a coincidence anymore? I’m not going to list everything again because I did already today but now add on top of everything that MS missed stage door yesterday and today. Yesterday even NT was surprised because he took off without talking to anyone.

So we have something snapping at Oliviers, DT’s birthday, GT acting like a bitter divorcee, DT possibly not living with her anymore… and suddenly MS not doing stage door. The same MS, who made a point of staying with fans and at a bar late for months.

Remember when AL made that Q&A comparing him to a protective parrot and how she’s bored because he’s not there - his reaction? - stayed at a bar late instead of going home, for fans to notice. But look what’s happening now when it’s about DT…

I’m starting to think there won’t be a Birthday party from GT with how things are going… but also won’t be surprised if there will be. It all depends how bitter things are and whether they will be told to keep the image for the general public. I think that was the initial plan but something snapped at Oliviers.

Does anybody on tumblr love Perona as much as I do?!

(Once again, may be more accurate to pre time skip perona 😋)

Perona with a girlfriend seems like such a sweetie!! And I say this in the kindest way possible- but with men (specifically stupid men) she just seems to get upset quicker?? Granted, in the show, as far as I’ve seen she interacts with male more than females (poor her she’s gonna go insane) but then again there’s more guys than girls in op anyway.

Moving on- shopping with her is always fun!! ٩( 'ω' )و you two could shop for hours and hours together. By the way I’m specifically talking about when she dropped zoro off on sabaody. You can’t tell me she didn’t stay for a while and buy a crap ton of cute clothes. Ngl the girls in the background of sabaody had some pretty cute outfits!! Which mean they have good clothing stores. Which means you two definitely when on a shopping spree 😉🤩

I’m talking going from store to store, getting snacks like pretzels and cotton candy in between, going on a few rides n such. And of course getting some sweet deals because your cute and know how to coupon 😋😋

While we’re on the topic I might as well mention fashion. In fact these wouldn’t be Perona headcanons without it⁉️ Like have you SEEN how that girl dresses?! I LOVE her style it’s so cute!! (Opinion: I like her pre time skip fit better) Besides the point tho, I just feel like she couldn’t get along with someone who has no style so IK for sure you’ve got some 🙌

Either that or your okay with her dolling you up LOL. Ngl I feel like she’d love that- whether you can dress or not. Cooking with Perona! (THAT COULD BE THE NAME OF A TV SHOW AT THIS POINT HAHAHAH) but yes of course cooking is a sort of love language for her, so she’s always cooking you stuff!! Meals, snacks, desserts whatever! She makes them randomly but you’d better appreciate it!!

if you can’t cook she’d have no problem doing it for you, but you simply must appreciate it!! At least thank her verbally if your not gonna do something in return physically! Okay?

if you can, you two have lots of fun cooking each other meals. There has been many days where you make each other your favorite meals then sit down and eat it together all romantic-like. ☺️ Aaaand there’s also times you have little mini arguments as to who’s cooking who’s favorite food tonight.

“No! Sit down I’ve got it, I said!!”

“I’ll do it Perona don’t worry about it!”

“No way! I was gonna make your favorite tonight!”

“well just sit down and let me handle it will you?!” 😤

nothing too serious like I said, just you too being so sappy you argue about who’s gonna cook who’s favorite dinner 😂💗💗

y’all have girl sleepovers at mihawk’s ٩( ᐛ )و

i mean yeah where else but you get me. You two stay up and gossip about any and everything. She’s the gossip type of girl 💯 I’m not saying you are though, so if you aren’t she can talk about anything, she doesn’t mind :) you could always build a pillow fort, read books, paint each other’s nails/toenails and sing instead 💖

she def rants to you about zoro and mihawk being living, breathing headaches. Which, unless your a nonchalant girly- you probably understand. 😭 having alone time with each other is essential to keep the other sane. 😄

her affections are cooking and doing favors for you. She’s also quite protective/big sister like and will make sure your okay randomly throughout your day. She keeps your hair in place and buttons the buttons you forgot to button up. 💖💖 that type of big sister like <33 she may or may not complain a bit (not as much as with zoro) but she’ll do basically any (sane 😭) thing you ask of her. If your ill/injured she forces you to stay in bed as long as it takes until you’ve made a full recovery. I feel she’d have a lot of medical knowledge so that helps ;D

she’d be shy about it when your first getting into the relationship, but after a while..! when in private, I feel like she’d be very soft for cute little kisses! 😚 100% in private though- she doesn’t want any sour faces from zoro or mihawk (😑) she’d make this clear too because she like to be made fun of 😒

her kisses are really soft, so are her lips. She’d probably leave light lipstick stains all over your face. She’d accidentally make those little smooching sounds each time she kisses you. She’s embarrassed about it but you two laugh it off and continue smothering bunches of love all over the other’s features. She really loves kissing your cheeks—they’re so squishy and cute!! <3 and she looooves cute things 😊

Ending it there because if I ever do Perona’s kisses one day that’ll be a spoiler 😱

I ended up loving Perona much more than I thought I would when I started watching one piece 😭💗 not complaining tho !! 💋

okay i know they are canonically obsessed with each other but. the song is in some ways about feeling like you’re failing in your relationship and being not quite as obsessed with them as they maybe are with you, and in this video of them talking about being a tandem, there is the slightest pause before swayman answers “do you miss him?” that makes me want to probe a wound. we’re not talking irl reasons of how that’s an absurd question (how do you miss him. you’re coworkers you’re seeing each other all the time) we’re talking that maybe this whole goalies-in-love thing got blown out of proportion and now swayman’s having to buy into the bit too hard. linus loves it & everyone’s asking about their bromance & how they love each other so much and the thing is—linus is safe. he’s got a wife and plausible deniability and jeremy? jeremy is gay. sure, he can crack jokes and people-please but the more people ask the more they're going to find out until maybe they find out something jeremy doesn't want them to know. and the longer this goes on, the more jeremy has to sit at linus' dinner table with linus and his beautiful wife and pretend like he isn't a little bit in love with him. and you know what? the longer it goes on and linus doesn't dial it down jeremy does stop being in love with him, because it just feels cruel, until he finally is done enough that he stops biting his tongue and ruins the moment.

another sobbing fight w my parents last night, woke up w a headache and feeling sick this morning. when can i leave

#personal personal #i feel like this should have a cw but i don’t even know #my mom. says the most incredibly hurtful things to me in rants and i can only sit there feeling frozen.#then when she finally shuts up i start to cry and tell her how hurtful and inconsistent her words are with what she tells me most of the tim #and then. she cries and wants to hug and hold my face and asks for forgiveness feeling awful.#i nod but i don’t have it in me anymore to keep letting myself fall for this emotional manipulation #last night she said that she’s so lucky that her daughter is so forgiving. i’m tired #she says that she only says those things because she’s angry that i’m not recovering and she’s upset that she can’t do anything to help.#but how do you thinking ranting at me with all the things i can’t do and all the things she doesn’t trust me to get done #and will give to my sister first because she thinks i simply don’t care enough about her chores she gives me #and it always starts with my parents speaking aggressive towards each other and then the conversation gets turned on me so i can’t #leave them to duke it out in peace #i’m not in a dangerous situation by any means but i just. want to move out. i love them but i can’t have this constantly #held above my head or anxiously looking out for the next explosion #rant.

I’m not trying to be a spoil sport but there are just fundamental aspects of Lestat and Claudia’s relationship and dynamic that I am very attached to that they’ve completely reversed in the show and I am sad about it 💔

#I think their falling out is just more dramatic and emotional if they’re more attached in the beginning #and something I was just obsessed with in the movie (can’t remember if the book did it exactly so I’m specifying) was lestat #wanting that family dynamic more than she did #that very last before she kills him when he thinks she’s wants to make amends #and even though things have escalated so badly he’s clearly still talking in terms of family and views it that way #when she simply does not care anymore #because things have festered so badly #the show just does not do that #and it’s far less compelling to me when lestat simply does not want claudia around at all #amc iwtv spoilers #i ramble sometimes

i don’t understand at all im like a caged animal at the pound someone keeps trying to adopt but i’m so used to being abused i cant get comfortable with the kindness and freedom offered to me my parents keep duping me on whether or not i have the illusion of free will and even if i truly do im too traumatised to do anything of my own desire without the fear of consequence and punishment especially when i can’t dream of moving out or going someplace to get away

#i don’t want this job and they told me if i heard back with an offer for it i had to deny the other job offer i had #neither one is special but they’re the same pay and one is more flexible and arguably safer #but now i’m being told to make sure i like it before i say yes and being asked if it’s something i want and i don’t understand #my understanding is that i could expect anger and disappointment if i didn’t accept this job and went with the other because it’s not #impressive to discuss and make me compared to my age and graduated status sound like a failure #but now i have a choice? i simply cant believe you im too afraid of the words not being true i don’t want to be punished anymore #but whether i take it or not i’ll be punished in some way. it’s like. i don’t know #it’s like my entire life and every choice i make is just two hallways leading to one door. it doesn’t matter what i do #i don’t know what to do with myself #i don’t know what to do with my life or my body. i want to sleep on the street and hope a car hits me. my head can’t handle the excessive #reasoning of every situation and possibility to still get it wrong in the end. i don’t want this i don’t want this life anymore
