“Eddie would go”

Eddie went! After many years of lifeguarding, I was visiting Hawaii on vacation and surfed Wiamea, on a monstrous huge wave day. On the far outside I rescued a Hawaiian surfer who got severely injured. It was a day that I thought I was going to wind up getting shipped back home in a body bag. You have to have respect, for One of the North Shore‘s first lifeguards who had bare minimum equipment, no JETSKI, but courage and Mad Waterman skills. Rest in peace Eddie.
